Axion – A new 3D strategic game for the Amiga is in dev, high end only!

Sorry guys and girls it’s back to high end Amiga’s for this new retro update, as looking through the project.Amiga Game Factory section of EAB, I’ve come across a new game that’s in development called Axion by VirtualAssests for the Commodore Amiga. A new strategy game, that the creator says is an experimental 3D tactical strategy requiring a Motorola 68060 100 MHz or faster! So no you’ll probably not be running this one smoothly even on a stock A1200. To coincide with this news, provided below is the latest footage and game details.

Here’s the latest. “Axion is an experimental 3D tactical strategy game set against the backdrop of deep space. Game status is Work In Progress. It is not fully functional yet but rather shows what it will be You command a squad of combat units engaged in strategic encounters with enemy forces — where positioning, timing, and tactical decisions determine victory. The game features a fully software-rendered 3D engine, running on both classic Amigas and modern PowerPC-based systems such as AmigaOS 4.1 and MorphOS. No hardware acceleration — just raw CPU power and software rendering”.

Requirements (Classic Amiga)

CPU: Motorola 68060 @ 100 MHz or fasterRAM: 10 MB freeOS: AmigaOS 3.x

Supported Systems

AmigaOS 3.x (classic Amiga)AmigaOS 4.1 – not tested yetMorphOSWinUAE

Extra Notes : A full version of Axion is planned, featuring a 10-mission campaign that will provide at least 10 hours of tactical gameplay. The estimated development time for this stage is around 6 months. An additional mission editor is also planned, allowing players to create and share their own custom missions to extend replayability and community content.

This Jackery Power Station Can Save You During Winter Outages, and It’s Selling for Pennies – Kotaku

This Jackery Power Station Can Save You During Winter Outages, and It’s Selling for Pennies – Kotaku

Winter storms have a nasty habit of knocking out power right when you need it most. Your heating system goes silent, the fridge starts warming up and suddenly you’re digging through drawers for flashlights while your phone battery ticks down to single digits. The Jackery Explorer 1000 exists to keep your essentials running when the grid fails, and it’s currently sitting at an all-time low of $429, slashed from $799. It’s Amazon’s number one best-seller in portable power stations, with over 3,000 reviews averaging 4.6 stars.

Serious Power in a Package You Can Actually Carry

The Explorer 1000 has 1,070Wh storage with a 1,500W continuous and 3,000W surge output. Those specs translate to real capability during cold winter power shortages: you can heat a room with a space heater, power your fridge to prevent food spoilage, charge several devices at a time and have lights throughout a house.

The pure sine wave AC output translates to sensitive equipment like laptops, medical equipment and modern appliances receiving clean power with no voltage spikes that will destroy equipment. You can power up to seven devices at a time with three AC outlets, two 100W PD fast-charging capability USB C ports, a single USB A port, and a DC car port.

The one-hour charging capability is game-changing and addresses the biggest weakness of traditional power stations: If you hear a winter storm warning and realize your backup power is sitting at 20%, you can fully charge the Explorer 1000 in just 60 minutes using the emergency charging mode activated through the Jackery app. Most competing units need 5-8 hours to reach full capacity which means you’re often caught unprepared. The default charging mode takes 1.7 hours which balances speed with battery longevity but having that emergency option provides real peace of mind when severe weather is approaching fast.

The LiFePO4 chemistry makes this unit distinct from more affordable lithium-ion competitors: The LFP batteries support in excess of 4,000 charge cycles with 70% or higher retained original capacity, which translates to a period exceeding a decade in continuous reliability. Common lithium-ion batteries significantly lose their integrity following 500-800 cycles.

Weighing a mere 23.8 pounds, the Jackery Explorer 1000 is incredibly portable for its capability. The collapsible handle makes moving a breeze from your garage to your living room during a power outage, or your trunk to a backcountry camping trail away from the power grid. Compare that to gasoline generators that weigh 50-80 pounds with storage for gasoline and maintenance, and that put fumes and noise throughout your home. The Jackery is silent as a whisper, zero emissions, and can be safely moved indoors where a gasoline generator would be lethal.

At $429 down from $799, you are receiving the portable power station that thousands rely on to power their homes in the winter months when power reliability is most critical. Make sure you don’t miss that opportunity before it runs out of stock.

Remedy Says FBC: Firebreak Flop Will Cost Them $15 Million

Remedy Says FBC: Firebreak Flop Will Cost Them Million

Remedy has revealed that it’s facing down a fairly hefty $14.9 million loss this year thanks to the failure of its multiplayer shooter FBC: Firebreak which launched a few months ago.

Remedy put out a rare “profit warning” document ahead of its next financial report on October 29.

“Due to weak sales of FBC: Firebreak, Remedy lowers its long-term sales forecast for the game,” said the company. “Consequently, the company recognizes a non-cash impairment of EUR 14.9 million, representing a majority of the game’s capitalized development costs and allocated purchased publishing and distribution rights. “

Previously, Remedy reckoned 2025 would see an increase in both operating profit and revenue, but they’ve now amended that, expecting instead for revenue to still increase but operating profit to be negative.

Firebreak released back in June and it was immediately apparent that it wasn’t doing well, drawing in just 2,000 concurrent players on Steam. That number dropped to less than a 100 a month later, and the console versions didn’t seem to be doing any better.

Remedy acknowledged the low sales and player counts in its half-year reports, describing the game as “underperforming”.

The first big update came out in September and Remedy notes “improved player and sales metrics after the update” but that sales were still not meeting their internal targets.

The “improved” player metrics that Remedy refers to after the update was a small bump up to 259 concurrent players on Steam, but that quickly fizzled out again. At the time of writing, the game is back to drawing in less than 100 concurrent players a day on Steam.

To put bluntly, when this game came out I couldn’t help but notice that nobody seemed to even be aware of its existence. Control and Alan Wake 2 are exceptional games and FBC: Firebreak is set in the same universe, but that connection was not enough, nor did it help that the name doesn’t really reference either of them. In other words, nobody seemed to care.

It’s a shame because Remedy is an excellent company. But the decision to pivot into a multiplayer game was a peculiar one when the company is known for its singleplayer adventures. Then again, Remedy is a company that likes to do its own thing, so maybe they fancied a change. Sadly, it did not pay off.

How to Power Up the Elevator in Little Nightmares 3

Powering up the Elevator is one of the many challenges that Low and Alone face in their journey through the Nowhere Realm in Little Nightmares 3. As players progress through the Candy Factory, Chapter 2, they will come across an Elevator. They will have to power up the elevator to take it up to the higher levels, so that they can find a way to exit through the factory. In this guide, we will tell you how to power up the elevator in Little Nightmares 3.

Powering Up the Elevator in Little Nightmares 3

To power up the Elevator, players will have to find and plug 2 fuses into the switches beside the elevator. Each fuse is located at a different location on the same level as the elevator.

How to Get the First Fuse for the Elevator

For the first fuse, go to the left of the elevator and jump into the pipe. Cross to the room on the left and make your way to the lever left of the trays. Direct your partner to the lever to make them pull the lever. Now, climb up the trays and grab onto one of the hooks.

Drop down into the room on the left and pick up the fuse from the wall. Throw the fuse through the fan and then pick it up to take it back to the elevator.

How to Get the Second Fuse for the Elevator

For the second fuse, go to the right of the elevator and break the glass. Continue ahead to make your way to a big room with a hooked worker. Drop down and climb the boxes to go inside the room. Do a boost jump to climb the boxes in the room and pick up the second fuse.

Now, go back outside, and you will see the hooked worker smashed on the floor. Throw the fuse through the shelf and then go through it. Pick up the fuse and then make your way back to the elevator. Plug in the second elevator to power it up.

Step inside the elevator and pull the lever to go up to the Control Room level.

Dragon Ball Daima’s Goku is coming to the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster | TheSixthAxis

Dragon Ball Daima’s Goku is coming to the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster | TheSixthAxis

Today, Bandai Namco released a new trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ marking the game’s inclusion at EVO France 2025 this weekend, and within that trailer the publisher made a surprise annoucement. Goku from Dragon Ball Daima will be added to the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster, with the new character expected to be added in Spring 2026. In addition, a balance update was also announced. Check out the reveal trailer below.

The balance update for Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released on October 12th, with Z-Reflect being one of the key parts of the game being addressed. In addition, all characters on the roster have been updated so moves will be rebalanced across the board, though full patch notes will not be released until the balance update is released.

Released back in 2018, Dragon Ball FighterZ was a major hit for fighting game vets Arc System Works, followed by numerous updates and character additions. In our glowing review, Dave wrote, “2018 is off to a strong start with Dragon Ball FighterZ an early contender for this year’s best fighting game.  By shattering some boundaries, Dragon Ball FighterZ has combat that’s more than worth getting into, but also a diverse roster and some phenomenal presentation. The Story Mode could have been improved if it were more streamlined, but it’s a mere blemish on an otherwise spectacular game.”

It’s not often that Fortnite brings back items most players have never even seen in the Item Shop, but that might be changing soon. After years of being in the vault, one of the rarest cosmetic sets in the game’s history could finally be making its return.

The rumor started after new shop data surfaced earlier this week, hinting that a forgotten bundle might soon reappear. With Fortnite currently in the middle of its annual Halloween event filled with new and returning cosmetics, the timing could not be better.

The Bucked Bundle is returning to Fortnite after seven years

According to a recent leak by iFireMonkey, the Buckled Bundle, which was last seen on November 26th, 2018, is now set to return to the Fortnite Item Shop very soon. Even better, its three Back Blings will reportedly be sold individually for the first time ever, giving players more options when it comes to choosing what to buy.

When it was last released, the full bundle cost 800 V-Bucks, making it one of the cheaper sets at the time. However, it’s only appeared in the shop for three days before vanishing and earning an “ultra rare” reputation. Due to this, many Fortnite players have never even seen this item.

This possible return comes right as Fortnite has been adding dozens of exciting cosmetics for the ongoing Halloween event. Release dates of new Fortnite Halloween skins have also been leaked, making the community even more excited for the future content.

While the returning bundle will likely keep the same price, we expect separate items to cost 400-500 V-Bucks each. The release date of the bundle is currently unknown. However, we do know that Epic will bring back one of the rarest Fortnite skins next week.

Can You Name All 151 Original Pokémon In This Quiz?

Ethan Krieger (He/Him) is an editor at DualShockers that got started in the writing industry by covering professional basketball for a sports network. Despite being a diehard sports fan (mainly formula one, basketball, American football, and golf), video games have always been his #1 interest.

I know I’m not alone when I say that Pokémon was genuinely one of the biggest things in my entire childhood. The Poké-movement of the ’90s was the first time I’d ever experienced a video game becoming just so culturally transcendent. From the games themselves, to the cards, TV show, movies, stuffed animals, and everything in between, Pokémon was truly inescapable.

Assuming you were just as addicted to the original anime as I was, you’ve likely heard the Poké Rap hundreds of times, as well as tested your memory just as often by playing “Who’s that Pokémon?” I don’t want to brag or anything, but I almost always knew who it was. No big deal.

Still, we’re all getting older, and our memories have needed to dump old knowledge in order to make room in our brains for more adult things, like tax brackets, how to make French press coffee, and styles of knots for a necktie. Still, I’d like to think all 151 of my original Pokémon buddies still hold some real estate up in the old noggin as well. It’s time to put that to the test.

Sporcle user “Matt” has put together a quiz that you can use to challenge your Gen 1 Pokémon memory retention. Once you hit “Play,” you’ll have 15 minutes to name as many of the OG 151 as you possibly can.

Be sure to post your results in the comments so we can see who the greatest Pokémon Master is among us!

Invincible season 4 finally gets a release date

Plus, a self-referential new teaser trailer that picks up where season 3 left off

Invincible and Atom Eve sitting in a destroyed Burger Mart in a teaser trailer for Invincible season 4.
Image: Prime Video

I hope Mark and Eve are fully recovered from the events of Invincible’s season 3 finale, as their next challenge is right around the corner. At New York Comic Con’s Invincible panel on Friday, Oct. 10, Amazon showed off the first trailer for Invincible season 4 and announced it would premiere in March 2026.

The trailer mostly acts as a recap of the events of season 3, which saw Invincible (Steven Yeun) taking on alternate-dimension versions of himself under the direction of multiverse-manipulator Angstrom Levy (Sterling K. Brown). As soon as that fight was finished, the Viltrumite warrior Conquest (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) showed up to challenge Invincible. With Atom Even’s help, our hero was just barely able to defeat and kill his opponent in perhaps the show’s most brutal fight scene since season 1.

So what can we expect from Invincible season 4? Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy, Foundation) joins the voice cast as Grand Regent Thragg, one of the comic’s most brutal antagonists. He’s “determined to restore Viltrum to its previous glory at any cost,” according to an official press release announcing the news.

Invincible’s third season set viewing records on Prime Video and was a critical success, so it’s no surprise the show is already renewed for a fifth season. If that’s not enough Invincible for you, there’s also the fighting game Invincible VS in development and a TTRPG on the way.

Invincible season 4 will premiere sometime in March 2026 on Prime Video.
