I think I’m just about back to normal after staying up far too late for The Game Awards and then not being able to catch up on sleep the day after. How was that for you, though? Did any big game announcements catch your eye?

Then, put the ingredients into the Cooking Pot one at a time and select the “Start Cooking” option to prepare the Felted Breakfast Spread Entrée Meal. It will cost 1 Coal Ore to finish cooking. When you make the Felted Breakfast Spread for the first time, you will learn the recipe. Next time, you can autofill the ingredients for making it again.

Use of Felted Breakfast Spread

Players can choose to eat the Felted Breakfast Spread to restore 2,597 Energy. Moreover, they can gift it to another villager to earn Friendship Pointsand increase their Friendship Level. Lastly, they can sell it to Goofy for 1,022 Star Coins.

Revealed at the Game Awards 2025, Ontos is a brand-new sci-fi mystery thriller and a spiritual successor to the survival horror great Soma. Playing as the protagonist Aditi, we will be exploring Moon Hotel Samsara, a frightening locale filled with experiments and psychological horror. 

The trailer begins in a lab with a wall of rats being inhumanely experimented upon as a desperate voice claims he can explain what’s going on. We then enter the Moon Hotel Samsara, meeting various characters who each appear to have their own agendas and experiments they aim to perform. Versatile actor Stellan Skarsgård will play one of these pivotal characters, a smartly dressed gentleman who asks, ominously: “What is existence really?” 

One small step for Aditi, one giant experiment for the hotel

This new title aims to include the lingering ideas of the developers that couldn’t be implemented in Soma. It also aims to explore a deeper narrative and build upon Soma’s immersive survival horror gameplay. 

Thomas Grip from Frictional Games described Ontos as “not really a horror game in a traditional sense.” 

Grip continued: “We’ve taken time to create a world and story that is unnerving and unsettling. While players will encounter horrific scenes, they won’t be chased all the time by monsters.”

The moral complexity and a deep dive into themes of consciousness and identity that this spiritual successor aims to provide suggest a disquieting, thought-provoking experience. If the environments within the Moon Hotel are just as horrific and mind-bending as the Pathos 2 facility from Soma, then we can expect to be satisfied and terrified by Ontos when it releases for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC in 2026.

Everything We Know About Divinity, The Big New RPG From Larian


Divinity was one of the biggest reveals at the Game Awards 2025. Hell, there was an entire demonic statue sitting in the desert for over a week to get people hyped. Actors were paid to sit in the front row of the showcase and get lifted into the air on pulleys to introduce the game’s first trailer. But what is it and why should you care? Here’s the little we know so far about Larian Studios’ next major RPG.

What is Divinity? 

It’s a new game from Larian Studios, most famous for the acclaimed 2023 hit RPG Baldur’s Gate 3. Like that one, Divinity is also an RPG. Unlike that one, Divinity takes place in Larian’s own made-up fantasy universe instead of Dungeons & Dragons‘ Forgotten Realms. Larian’s land of Rivellon is still inhabited by humans, elves, dwarves, and so on, though it has some peoples you won’t find in BG3 too, and it still revolves around magic and demonic forces, but there are seven gods and more religious overtones. It started in 2002 with the studio’s first fantasy RPG, Divine Divinity. 

“The gods are silent. Rivellon bleeds. New powers stir.” That’s the tagline for the new Divinity, which Larian promises will be its “most ambitious title yet” and even larger than Baldur’s Gate 3. It was revealed at The Game Awards 2025 with a massive statue and a gnarly cinematic trailer that suggests the world of Divinity may be on the verge of succumbing to some truly wicked hellspawn.

Wait, is this Divinity: Original Sin 3?

No, it ain’t. While fans of that turn-based sub-series would love to see Larian go back to that solid foundation, the company’s head of publishing was very clear that this isn’t a direct sequel. “There aren’t currently any plans for a new Divinity Original Sin 3 game but once we are ready to show what we’ve been working on we will,” Michael Douse wrote on X prior to Divinity‘s announcement. But Larian did name-check both Original Sin games in its press release, saying fans of those will have a better understanding of this new game’s world.

Here’s how director Swen Vincke put it in the announcement: “Despite our long history with the series, this is our first game entitled ‘Divinity.’ We’re ready to bring everything we’ve done previously into one place. This marks the beginning of something with more breadth, depth, and intimacy than anything we’ve created before. We’ve been building toward this moment ever since we took our fate into our own hands. This is the Divinity we’ve always wanted to make and you’re going to have loads of fun with it.”

Will Divinity be turn-based?

That’s one of the great debates raging among fans as alleged rumors circulate that Divinity might not be turn-based. That would be a big departure from Larian’s last decade of projects which have all been that way. Back in the beginning, however, the Divinity franchise was a real-time action series that played like Diablo. It’s not hard to see Larian going back to that, especially if Divinity is operating on a grander scale than past projects. Maybe it’ll be third-person action more in the vein of modern Dragon Age? Still, the studio has a history of sticking to what works and iterating from there. If I had to bet money, I’d say it’s probably still turn-based.

Is that old guy getting Wicker Man’d in the trailer important?

Larian Studios

Probably! Fans on the Divinity subreddit have been debating who it might be. One theory is that it’s a character called Lucian who’s the canonical hero for the original Divine Divinity, eventually getting godly powers and being worshiped. He also adopts a child named Damian who ends up being a vessel for demonic entities. Here’s one fan’s theory:

“The implication of this trailer seems to be that the people of Rivellon stopped worshipping the dead gods and committed, besides the seven deadly sins, the Original Sin of killing the powerless Lucian, which causes the Hellstone to spawn, as the last remnants of the gods and Source were destroyed that way.”

Much of this interpretation depends on where in the existing timeline the new Divinity takes place. Is it after Original Sin 2 or a prequel to the entire franchise? Or maybe somewhere in the middle? Whoever is being tortured in the game’s first trailer, it seems clear that all is not well in Rivellon and the demons are coming to take over.

When is Divinity coming out?

There’s no release date yet. Not even a release window or a whisper of one. Divinity: Original Sin II was made in three years. Baldur’s Gate 3 took six. A lot will depend on whether this is the only game Larian has in production or it’s working on something else alongside it. Either way, we probably won’t see it out in the wild until 2027 or beyond.

What platforms will Divinity launch on?

PC seems like a safe bet. Maybe even an Early Access launch like Larian did with Baldur’s Gate 3. It could be far enough away to be a cross-gen console release on both PlayStation 5 and PS6. Same for Xbox. Hopefully it runs well on PC handhelds and Valve’s Steam Machine. Maybe it’ll even come to Switch 2? Larian’s only other game to launch on a Nintendo platform was Divinity: Original Sin II.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 does not seem to be doing well, launching to poor critic and user reviews, lower player numbers and apparently much weaker sales than its predecessor. More specifically, the game sold just over 400,000 copies on Steam in its first 6 days, a drastically lower number than Black Ops 6‘s 2.3 million in the same time frame.

According to a new report, Microsoft aren’t too pleased with the numbers, either.

The information comes from Hope@TheGhostOfHope, a fairly reliable Call of Duty insider. But do keep in mind to take everything said with a pinch of salt, especially as Hope doesn’t specify how they came by this information.

According to Hope, “Microsoft believes BO7 is a good game but the financial performance is below expectations”. He goes on to say that expectations were already lowered last year after BO6 underperformed, with one source describing its decline as having “fallen off a cliff”.

“Microsoft has also supposedly told higher ups within Call of Duty that changes are very much required and nothing is off the table including studio mergers and a complete rethink of monetization models within the franchise,” wrote Hope.

It’s worth noting that nowhere is it suggested that they stop publishing Call of Duty every single year, which is likely one of the biggest causes of the franchises troubles.

Then again, even a declining Call of Duty still sells millions of copies. In Europe, Battlefield 6 outsold it by 63%, but CoD is still likely to be one of the highest selling games of the year.

Well this game which originally appeared on the Arcades, and was then ported to pretty much every system you could think of, has finally been converted over to the Atari XL/XE thanks to Krzysztof “Vega” Góra, Sim, Gaspar, Miker and GienekP.

Here’s the full details. “This version of the game is based on the version from the GAME BOY. This game requires the 4MB cartridge and the standard ATARI XE/XL with 64KB. The game works on NTSC or PAL system. This game has a huge amount of 4KHz samples, images in Grah2Font and music in RMT format. You must defeat 9 opponents on your way to the finale, including 3 bosses. What’s more, the game also includes a bonus level of car destruction.”

Despite being the most-hyped reveal at The Game Awards 2025, there’s a good chance you may not be familiar with the games that precede Divinity: Original Sin 3. However, it looks like RPG fans may soon get the chance to experience the breakout sequel that put this series on the map as well as its developer, Larian Studios. The same Larian Studios that created one of the genre’s modern masterpieces, Baldur’s Gate 3.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition has been floating in the ether for a while now. We assumed that, given the success of BG3, Larian would have quickly followed up with an enhanced version of its previous game, eager to steer its legion of newly-acquired fans towards Larian’s own original IP which debuted way back in 2002.

After appearing on a ratings board (which is usually a good sign of a game’s impending release) Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive fell off the radar, but now it has reappeared. Ahead of the big reveal at The Game Awards, a post from PlayStation Game Size surfaced on social media, confirming the game’s existence on PS5.

Given that this information comes from a pretty reliable source when it comes to leaking PlayStation Store data, hopefully we can expect an official announcement from Larian Studios in the coming days.

In our Divinity: Original Sin 2 review we scored the game a smashing 9/10, saying that it was “the strongest CRPG in decades, with a fascinating plot that enthrals, despite taking a while to get going and being hard as nails at times. It’s the little adventures that flesh out the world and so much of it can be missed at first glance because you didn’t have the right skill or failed a persuasion check. Massive in scope and jam packed with features that includes a GM mode that shows a surprising amount of customisation with great ease, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a bumper package.”

One missed from earlier in the week with the onslaught of news – Mounts of Mayhem released for Minecraft as the latest major update for the popular sanbox game. Main highlights include:

Added the Nautilus and the Zombie Nautilus mobs.
Added Nautilus Armor.
Added the Camel Husk mob.
Added the Parched mob.
Added Spear weapons.
Zombie Horses now spawn naturally.
Added new graphical options “Texture Filtering” and “Anisotropic Filtering”.
Added Netherite Horse Armor that can be obtained by upgrading Diamond Horse Armor using a Smithing Table.

They’re also working to improve modding for everyone, with obfuscation being removed as covered here on GamingOnLinux previously. There’s an experimental version of this available now too but it needs a few manual steps.

The highly-anticipated follow-up to Baldur’s Gate 3 is more Divinity, but it’s not technically Original Sin 3


Larian Studios has delivered what was arguably the biggest reveal of The Game Awards 2025 showcase. The Hellstone, the mysterious monolith in the desert that’s been generating a lot of speculation in the lead-up to the show was indeed teasing the studio’s next game.

The Belgian developer is returning to the series it created with Divinity, a non-numbered sequel that’s designed for new and veteran players alike. The announcement was entirely cinematic, setting the tone for what looks to be the next big thing in the space.

Larian calls Divinity its most ambitious title ever, with the studio striving for a level of depth and breadth we’ve not seen before. This is the next project from the Baldur’s Gate 3 team, after all, so there’s understandably immense anticipation for it.

Divinity is a standalone RPG, and does not require you to have played Divinity: Original Sin, or Divinity: Original Sin 2. If you did, however, you’re going to find the journey extra special because of the continuity it offers.

“We’re ready to bring everything we’ve done previously into one place,” said founder and game director, Swen Vincke.

Beyond that, there’s precious little that’s been revealed for Divinity so far. We don’t know what platforms it’s going to be coming to, nor do we even have a release target. We do know it’s an RPG, so you can very much expect something similar to earlier games in the series, and, of course, Baldur’s Gate 3.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has released their “Thank You” update after winning Game of the Year at The Game Awards. This free update adds a ton of new content, featuring a new zone, more music, challenging boss battles, a photo mode, and more.

However, you’ll need to progress fairly far into the game and unlock one of Esquie’s abilities to reach the new zone.

To access Verso’s Draft in the “Thank You” update in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you’ll first need to meet the following prerequisites:

Reach Act 3

Unlock Esquie’s underwater ability (Relationship level 6 with Esquie)

Lumina Sets (allowing you to save lumina loadouts)
