28 Years Later Steelbook Collector’s Edition Preorders Are Live At Amazon

28 Years Later Steelbook Collector’s Edition Preorders Are Live At Amazon

More than two decades after the release of 28 Days Later, director Danny Boyle and screenwriter Alex Garland have teamed up again for a new film beloved post-apocalyptic zombie franchise. 28 Years Later hit theaters on June 20, earning strong reviews from critics and fans. It’s the third entry in the series, though Boyle/Garland didn’t work on 28 Weeks Later, the 2007 standalone sequel. Fans may want to consider locking in a preorder for the 28 Years Later Steelbook Collector’s Edition, which is available for $45 and comes with 4K and 1080p Blu-ray discs as well as a digital copy.

At the time of writing, the Steelbook Collector’s Edition is the No. 1 best-selling movie on Amazon. It’s not uncommon for steelbook preorders that top Amazon’s charts to sell out. The 4K Blu-ray release date for 28 Years Later hasn’t been announced, but you won’t be charged until your order ships (likely two to three months from now).

If you need to refresh your memory before watching 28 Years Later, Prime Video has deals on the first two movies. You can buy 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later for $15 total.

As mentioned above, 28 Years Later is a sequel to 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later–there’s no 28 Months Later, much to our dismay–and it sees Boyle return to the director’s chair, armed with a script penned by Garland. The original film launched Garland’s Hollywood career and showcased Boyle’s impressive range as the director; it’s cool to see the pair team up again 23 years later on 28 Years Later (sorry).

Set almost three decades since the rage virus escaped a biological weapons laboratory, the UK is still cut off from the outside world, and this has given rise to new communities that survive amidst the chaos. One such outpost is located on a small island connected to the mainland by a single and heavily-defended causeway, and the film chronicles the journey of a group from that village who discover new secrets and horrors in the lands beyond their safe haven.

One of the interesting things about 28 years Later is that it was filmed with iPhone 15 smartphones–using custom-made lenses and specialized rigs–to create a unique look for the film. A sequel, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, has already been filmed and will be out next year, and if both films are a success, there’ll be a threequel to finish off this new horror trilogy.

The previous films in the series are still worth watching, but in the case of 28 Days Later, there is a catch here. Even on Blu-ray, the movie looks pretty bad, but not because of a poor transfer or shoddy remastering. Partly due to strict time constraints on UK filmmakers looking to shoot their movies on location, Boyle and his team decided to go with lightweight Canon digital camcorders for production so that shoots could be lean and fast.

28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later on DVD

This allowed them to film the eerily abandoned streets of London quickly, but the downside here is that these cameras could only offer low-resolution digital footage that was then saved to MiniDV cassettes. Unlike film, upscaling from these tapes is extremely difficult, and this is made very evident by the final scenes of 28 Days Later that were shot with an Arri camera in a higher resolution.

As for 28 Weeks Later, it isn’t as widely loved as 28 Days Later, but it’s still a rock-solid zombie movie with several incredible scenes, if you don’t mind the overreliance on shaky-cam techniques employed by director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.

Watch 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later

Both films are technically available on Blu-ray, but since they’ve been out of print for years now, the prices are rather high. The out-of-print DVD editions can also be fairly expensive, but you can get a combo pack with both films for $50-$60. It’s worth mentioning the editions in the box set display in 4:3 aspect ratio and will look best on CRT TVs. Widescreen editions of both movies are available to purchase separately.

As mentioned, you can also grab digital versions of 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later for low prices on Amazon.

A 4K Blu-ray edition of 28 Days Later is in the works, but we’re not certain if it’ll look better or worse in ultra-high-definition. Considering the picture quality, it’s best to go with the DVD or cheap digital versions of 28 Days Later for now. Fans can preorder the 28 Days Later 4K Steelbook Edition for $45, though it’s not expected to ship until December at the earliest.

Xbox-Themed Meta Quest 3S Officially Announced

Xbox-Themed Meta Quest 3S Officially Announced

As was reported just last week, Xbox and Meta have officially announced a partnership in the form of an Xbox-themed Meta Quest 3S headset.

Don’t get too excited: this is not a VR headset that works with your Xbox, nor will you be able to play any Xbox exclusives in virtual reality. Well, outside of unofficial mods that let you do exactly that, anyway.

“We’re proud of what we’ve built together with Meta, and we can’t wait for you to dive into everything the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition has to offer. Whether you’re streaming the latest Xbox Game Pass Ultimate titles, exploring the ever-expanding world of VR, or kicking back with immersive entertainment, this is just the beginning of what’s possible when great teams and great technology come together,” says Microsoft.

So, what does it actually do? Well, it lets you play Xbox games via xCloud Streaming. Pair up a a controller, open up the service and you can stream Xbox titles straight to the headset and play them on a giant virtual screen. This isn’t new – you’ve been able to do this since 2023.

To aid in this, the £379.99/$399.99 bundle comes with three months of Game Pass Ultimate. And three months of Horizon+ as well.

Annoyingly, the trailer paints the new headset as an “Xbox you can wear” which already has caused some confusion in the Youtube comments, leading people to think you can actually play Xbox titles in true VR.

Really, though, what you’re getting is a regular 128GB Quest 3S painted black with some green highlights, plus matching Sense controllers. You do get a rather nice limited edition Xbox controller, which is also painted black with Xbox green highlights. Actually, I’d buy the controller if they sold it separately – it’s pretty sexy.

Personally, I have no idea what the point of this bundle is supposed to be. Streaming Xbox games to a headset is a niche market, and for your hard-earned money all you’re getting is a regular Quest 3S. At least the recently announced ROG Xbox Ally has some special features.

Still, I have to assume that Meta and Xbox have data which shows people are streaming games, otherwise why would they be doing this?

So let’s have fun and speculate for a second: what if Xbox adds VR games to Game Pass? A new tier, perhaps, or just built-in to the existing subscription? It’s fun to consider, although I doubt Meta would want them stepping on their Horizon+ service.

Anybody Want To Buy A $2,600 Toy Story Gaming PC?

Anybody Want To Buy A ,600 Toy Story Gaming PC?

Image: MSI / Pixar / Kotaku

MSI, Disney, and Pixar have partnered together to produce one of the weirder crossover products I’ve seen in some time: A high-end gaming PC themed entirely around Toy Story.

As spotted by VideoCardz, MSI’s Toy Story PC isn’t just a bog-standard gaming rig with some Toy Story stickers slapped on it. Instead, the entire thing is themed around the franchise, including the parts inside it. Have you ever wanted a Woody-themed motherboard? Well, there’s one inside this MSI Toy Story rig. The entire PC case is colorful and vibrant, as you’d expect for a device based on a Pixar animated feature. But even better, the case itself is designed to mimic the claw machine from the original film.

If you were to make a Venn diagram of “die-hard Toy Story fans” and “hardcore PC gamers,” I’m not sure how much overlap there would be. Perhaps Disney and MSI have data that proves this thing has a dedicated audience. Or maybe someone at MSI is just a big Toy Story fanatic and made this happen. Either way, if you do want this thing, it will cost you about $2,600 USD. Of course, you can’t actually buy it over here—the Toy Story PC will only be available in Taiwan and in very limited quantities. MSI says once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Image for article titled Anybody Want To Buy A $2,600 Toy Story Gaming PC?

Image: MSI / Pixar / Kotaku

So what’s inside this pricey Toy Story rig? Some so-so hardware, including: GeForce RTX 5070, an MSI Z890 Gaming Plus motherboard, an Intel Core Ultra 5 245K, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD. The card and RAM are nice, but the CPU is a bit of a bummer as it’s a more budget chip with not-so-great gaming performance. And that’s nowhere near enough storage. You are definitely spending a fair amount extra on this box for the Toy Story theming.

Still, when you bring this PC to a local LAN event, you’ll likely have one of the weirdest rigs around. And that’s something.

Cronos: The New Dawn looks like it’s made for those of us who loved looking at Bloober Team games but never played them

Cronos: The New Dawn looks like it’s made for those of us who loved looking at Bloober Team games but never played them

Bloober Team is no stranger to visually-stunning, intriguing horror games. But if you wanted something with more action, nothing the studio has made before – save for maybe the recent Silent Hill 2 Remake – has quite delivered in that area.

This is part of what makes Cronos: The New Dawn a very special title, especially for those of us who want to get into a Bloober Team game but don’t enjoy running and hiding from scary things as much as we do taking them on in combat.

Manage cookie settings

Cronos has been on the radar of action-horror fans everywhere practically since it was unveiled. Much of that has to do with its unique take on combat, which initially looked like something out of Dead Space, but was later revealed to be a lot more interesting.

The core mechanic in combat is the ability for enemies to merge with each other, effectively evolving in real-time. This not only has the potential to turn up the difficulty of an encounter right as you’re in the middle of it, it also means you’re going to have to be a lot more mindful of where you take on each fight.

As seen in the latest gameplay deep dive, dead bodies can be absorbed by enemies you’re currently trying to fight, which adds to their health, and even unlocks new attacks. You’re seemingly required to lure enemies away from dead bodies they can potentially use against you.

It’s quite an unusual – but very tactical – approach to combat in a survival horror game. Speaking of which, Bloober Team explained that Cronos does feature some elements of resource scarcity, so you won’t be running around gung ho.

Earlier this year, we spoke to the game’s directors about a range of topics, including why the team decided to take its next project in more action-y route, and how it wants to blend the horror elements of its past games with that more interactive approach.

Cronos: The New Dawn still doesn’t have a release date, but it will be released at some point this fall on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Where to Find and Catch Mini Mullet in Palia

Where to Find and Catch Mini Mullet in Palia

There are various fish types in Palia that players can catch while doing the Fishing Guild. Catching common and rare fish is the crucial step of leveling up the Fishing Guild to unlock advanced versions of the Fishing Rod as well as new items and crafting recipes at the Fishing Guild Store. One of the new Common fish that players can catch is the Mini Mullet. This guide will walk you through where to find and catch the Mini Mullet in Palia.

Where to Find Mini Mullet in Palia

Players can find Mini Mullet in the Elderwood freshwater rivers and ponds at any time in the Elderwood map region. It is a brand-new fish and can only be found on the Elderwood map. There are several spots in the Elderwood where players can fish in the Freshwater rivers and ponds. The Freshwater rivers and ponds have a slightly darker color on the map, which makes it easier to find them. Moreover, these locations are distant from the coastal areas of Elderwood. One of the best fishing spots to find Mini Mullet is the Mitana Grove on the northeast side of Elderwood. Moreover, the ponds within the cavern areas, like Central Stables and Red Blossom Cave, are also great spots to find Mini Mullet.

How to Catch Mini Mullet in Palia

Upon reaching the fishing location of Elderwood, you need to start catching fish in the deep area of the saltwater without equipping any bait.

Cast the line as far as you can with your fishing rod and wait for the bobber to shake three times. As the bobber starts to move after the third shake, reel in the fish by holding the Left-Click Button and moving the mouse to keep the fish inside the brackets to catch the fish.

Uses of Mini Mullet in Palia

Players can sell Mini Mullet for 45 Gold (Base) or 67 Gold (Star-Quality) to Zeki or at the Shipping Bin. Moreover, you can also gift it to certain villagers who like it or who need it as a weekly want. Currently, Einar wants a Mini Mullet until June 29, 2025. If you catch any Mini Mullet this week, make sure to bring one to Einar.

Fortnite is known for collaborating with popular IPs. Yet another viral phenomenon, Squid Game, is making its way into the game in conjunction with its final season on Netflix this week. Announced at Unreal Fest 2025, Epic has joined hands with Squid Game to allow UEFN creators to make islands using the official IP tools, which will be available to them on June 27.

However, around the same time, Fortnite is also launching its own Squid Game mode with iconic locations from the show, its deadly games, and bringing its characters, right from the Guards to the Player, right into the shop.

In the previous week, Epic shared several teasers showcasing a new map in the game’s Reload mode, and today, a brief trailer builds the excitement. Here’s what fans can expect with the official collab.

Fortnite x Squid Game collab to bring iconic locations and new character skins

The Fortnite x Squid Game crossover, which will debut on June 27, 2025, alongside the series finale, features a thrilling Squid Game-themed map in Fortnite Reload, combining the show’s high-stakes drama with Fortnite’s fast-paced battle royale. Leaked information reveals a perfectly designed environment created with UEFN, which includes popular Squid Game rooms such as the central game arena, the dormitory, and a reimagined “Red Light, Green Light” section.

The map uses Fortnite’s llama as the show’s piggy bank and introduces new features such as “Square Meals,” a food-themed zone with minigames inspired by Squid Game activities like tug-of-war and glass bridge. A new Squid Game Red Eye SMG weapon is rumored to be released, along with probable changes to Fortnite Reload’s revive mechanics to reflect the show’s elimination stakes, though specifics remain unknown.

The Item Shop will release 14 Squid Game-inspired skins, including five male and five female default Fortnite characters in green participant tracksuits (with changeable jacket numbers), two new characters, a red guard skin, and a black guard skin (with customisable mask symbols). A skin inspired by the legendary Red Light/Green Light doll, Young-hee, is also featured with a remixed version with Cuddle Team Leader.

Additional cosmetics include two bags, a wrap, three sprays, a loading screen, and a banner icon. Prices are expected to be around 1,200 V-Bucks or more; however, fans are frustrated by the lack of prominent Squid Game characters such as Gi-Hun and the Front Man, as well as generic skin designs.

Lay Down the Law in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide on Game Pass with New Arbites Class and FREE Update | TheXboxHub

Warhammer 40000 Darktide Arbites
Warhammer 40000 Darktide Arbites Class is here

The justice of the Imperium arrives in the hive city of Tertium, bringing with it a loyal cyber-hound and a host of devastating new weaponry.

Fatshark has unleashed a massive content drop for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide on Game Pass, featuring the game’s first paid class DLC, the Arbites, alongside the huge, game-changing, and completely free Battle for Tertium update for all players.

This wave of new content is available right now for all Rejects on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

You Are the Law: The Arbites Class DLC

For the first time, players can purchase a new class to bring righteous fury to the heretic masses. The Arbites are the enforcers of the Lex Imperialis, and as an Arbitrator, you are their unforgiving instrument.

The Cyber-Mastiff Companion – The most iconic feature of the Arbites is their cybernetically-engineered hound, the R-VR. This loyal companion can be cosmetically customised and named before joining you in the fray. It will passively engage nearby threats but can also be commanded (by double-tapping your Tag input) to take down priority targets. For those who prefer to walk the path of justice alone, the Lone Wolf talent removes the Mastiff in exchange for powerful personal stat boosts.

A Versatile Talent Tree – The Arbitrator’s talent tree is a sprawling map of righteous fury, allowing for deep customisation. Key paths focus on Elite killing & Cyber-Mastiff handling; Hybrid Combat & Supportive Utility; and pure Crowd Control & Melee prowess. Players can mix and match from over 80 talent nodes to craft their perfect enforcer.

New Abilities & Weaponry – The Arbitrator brings new technology and iconic wargear to the battlefield. Deploy the Nuncio-Aquila to create a toughness-regenerating field for allies, enter the Castigator’s Stance for a powerful self-buff, or smash through enemy lines with the Break the Line bash. Wield the new Assault Shield in combination with either the Dominator Maul or Arbites Shotpistol – Darktide’s first true defense/range combo. For tougher targets, the Arbites Shotgun and its Special Issue ammunition will pack the required punch.

Pricing & Editions

The Arbites Class DLC is available in several tiers:

FREE Battle for Tertium Update Overhauls the Game

Alongside the paid class, a colossal free update lands for all players, significantly reworking core aspects of the game.

Reworked Campaign & Mission Board – The core player experience has been overhauled to provide a clearer narrative focus. The Battle for Tertium is now a linear campaign with new cinematic mission debriefs, designed to ease new players into the world and its mechanics. The Mission Board has also been reworked; missions are no longer tied to a specific difficulty. Instead, you now select your mission then choose your desired difficulty, massively increasing the options available at any one time.

Mortis Trials & New Events – The Mortis Trials activity gets new narrative secrets to uncover about Shipmistress Brahms, as well as a new, higher Auric difficulty level with faster, tougher enemy waves. Furthermore, the Inferno in-game event kicks off today and runs until July 7th, setting the streets of Tertium aflame and offering valuable rewards for those brave enough to enter the hot zone.

Quality of Life Improvements – This update is packed with enhancements, including an increased maximum number of operatives (now 8), an increased number of weapon loadouts (now 8), and a staggering ~900 new lines of banter between both the original cast and the new Arbites class.

Watch the Arbites Class Release Trailer

See the new class and its cyber-hound dispense Imperial justice in the official trailer…

A Shot of Variety for the Hive City

This dual release of paid and free content marks one of Darktide’s most significant updates yet, addressing key areas of feedback since launch. In our 4/5 review of the base game, we praised its visceral combat but noted a potential issue with longevity: “If I did have one little complaint, it is that the missions do get a little samey after a while… Still, there is a lot of fun to be had in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.”

The reworked mission board and new linear narrative directly tackle this, while the Arbites class offers a completely new way to experience that fun, visceral combat.

Whether you’re a veteran Reject looking for a fresh challenge or a new player ready to be guided through Tertium’s chaos, there has never been a better time to serve the Emperor. It’s time to restore order… by any means necessary.

RAIDOU Remastered: 10 Best Summoner Skills

RAIDOU Remastered: 10 Best Summoner Skills

One of the additions in RAIDOU Remastered compared to the original game is the Summoner Skills. Split between Combat Skills and Sword Skills, they’re nothing less than active and passive abilities for battle, respectively.

Our charming Devil Summoner, Raidou, can equip three active skills at once, being able to swap them anytime midbattle, and six passives—which increases to eight after finishing a Case File. However, not all of them are useful or match your playstyle.

RAIDOU Remastered: Walkthrough To Register All Demons

Hope you’ve got a crucifix in hand, because there’s a whole lot of demons for us to deal with.

Since RAIDOU Remastered puts a bigger focus on your demons, allowing you to bring two into battle, I saw huge potential in relentlessly striking enemy weaknesses. To do that, I needed to keep my MAG reserves full and equipped with skills that reflected that goal.

In the end, the choices depend on how you prefer to play and your style. But if you’re anything like me, then these are the best summoner skills in RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army.

I won’t include any New Game+ skills, because they’re all way too overpowered.

Resist Elements

Defense Is Not The Best Offense

RAIDOU Remastered 10 Best Summoner Skills (2)

Effect

How to Acquire

Forge Kusanagi, Usumidori, Luna Blade, and Mitsurugi

Let me get four Sword Skills out of the way at once. These are Resist Phys, Resist Fire/Elec, Resist Ice/Force, and Resist Mind/Death. As the name suggests, each one increases defense against a specific type of attack.

In fact, their effect cuts the damage taken in half, which sounds great on paper. The problem is that they’re extremely situational.

Sometimes, you’ll fight a boss that uses fire, so Resist Fire/Elec would be nice. But what if that boss also throws Wind attacks? You’d need to swap your passive or even forge another weapon.

Forging weapons isn’t as cheap as it sounds, especially the stronger ones. A lot of the time, you’ll end up with a Resist that doesn’t match the boss. So, as straightforward and effective as they seem, circumstances push these skills to the bottom of the list.

MAG Drainer recovers MAG for every enemy hit after using the final hit of a heavy combo or a charged attack. If you’re the kind of player who prefers dealing damage yourself instead of using light combos to recover MAG through your demons, this Sword Skill is essential.

The only catch is that this skill is only worth it if you’re wielding a Sword or an Axe, since the charged attack of both weapons has a bigger area of effect. If you hit more enemies, you recover more MAG.

Spear’s last heavy attack, on the other hand, only hits one enemy, making the passive way less effective. It’s situational, but in battles like the Trials of a Hundred Demons to unlock Beelzebub, I had unlimited MAG just by spamming sword-charged attacks.

Heat Wave

Hotter Than Hell

RAIDOU Remastered 10 Best Summoner Skills (4)

Effect

Severe Physical attack with unlimited reach

How to Acquire

Forge Kogarasumaru

Most of the time, combat is going to be a mix of light and heavy combos, casting a spell to hit an enemy’s weakness and stunning them while your demons beat the crap out of them for free.

However, at some point, some fodder enemies really started to wear me down. Then, I learned Heat Wave, one of the few physical Combat Skills with an area of effect.

Heat Wave deals severe damage with what the game calls unlimited reach. The reach may be, but the AoE isn’t since it hits a rectangular area wherever Raidou is aiming. Still, it’s enough to inflict some serious pain.

Even better, it’s super easy to unlock, requiring just forging the third spear in the game. Ever since I learned Heat Wave, it never left my loadout.

Elemental Signs

Pyro, Frost, Volt, and Wind

RAIDOU Remastered 10 Best Summoner Skills (5)

Effect

Heavy Elemental attack to 1 target

How to Acquire

Automatically

As we get older, it feels like everyone learns the lesson that there’s happiness in simplicity, right? And here in RAIDOU Remastered, that applies, too.

Right at the start, we learn Pyro Sign, which is the most basic—and only—way for our protagonist to deal fire damage directly. As the story goes on, we automatically unlock the other elements, like ice, electric, and wind.

I’m grouping all the Elemental Signs together because they work the same way, and the effect is equally good. When you hit an enemy’s weakness, they get stunned, and you can bash them to your heart’s content. Simple but efficient.

By the end of the game, I wasn’t using the Signs as much, because my two demon partners were handling enemy weaknesses for me. But that doesn’t change the fact that these spells are a Devil Summoner’s best friends.

6

Capricious Miracle

Doubling Down On RNG

RAIDOU Remastered 10 Best Summoner Skills (6)

Effect

Provides a chance that demons’ attacks will not consume MAG

How to Acquire

Forge Youkou Haken

Capricious Miracle is the only RNG-dependent ability in the game, which makes sense considering how good its effect is. Having a chance for your demons not to spend MAG when using their skills is very tempting.

The problem is that Atlus was stingy with the descriptions and never tells you exactly how much “a chance” really is. I’m not a math guy, but I’d love a specific number so I could create the best Devil Summoner build ever.

Still, considering the chaos of battle and how I can barely manage my MAG while spamming light sword attacks, I’m taking any RNG that promises me benefits. Even if, in the end, it’s just a placebo effect.

5

Shield Breaker

Destroy Those Pesky Shields

RAIDOU Remastered 10 Best Summoner Skills (7)

Effect

Greatly increases damage allies deal to foes’ weakness shields

How to Acquire

Forge Gae Bolg

The alternative when your MAG is not keeping up with your Demon’s spell spamming is to make each of their spells stronger. In this case, it’s not damage-stronger, but with a greater potential to break enemies’ shields.

Some annoying enemies, mostly bosses, come to battle with a shield gauge. This means hitting them with their weakness won’t stun their asses immediately. Instead, it will take a bit of work at their shield bar. Once their shield is gone, the next spell aimed at their fragility will finally freeze them in place.

That’s why the Shield Breaker is a powerful asset to your (ok, my) build. Once an enemy is stunned, every light slash will recover double the usual MAG for Raidou, which, as you may have already learned by now, is how we cheese our way to victory by stunlocking every enemy into a void existence of uselessness.

4

Infallible Command

Protection Against Elements

RAIDOU Remastered 10 Best Summoner Skills (8)

Effect

Temporarily nullifies Fire, Ice, Electric, Force, Death, and Mind attacks against the party

How to Acquire

Forge Kanshou

Following the same logic as the previous Sword Skills, here we have a Combat Skill, meaning it’s used in battle and has a cooldown. But this time, defensively.

Called Infallible Command, this skill temporarily nullifies any elemental damage against the whole party. It’s mind-blowingly good, because this leaves you only vulnerable to physical – and almighty – attacks.

And yeah, we’ve got a Null Phys Combat Skill if you want to go full-on invincible.

The effects last 20 seconds, and since both skills have a cooldown of 45 seconds, you’ll be vulnerable for only 25 seconds. That is, unless you equip Martial Instinct, which reduces the cooldown to 35 seconds.

3

Martial Instinct

No Cooldowns, No Problems

RAIDOU Remastered 10 Best Summoner Skills (9)

Effect

Slightly decreases the amount of time until Raidou’s Combat Skills can be used again

How to Acquire

Forge Kurikara

Our protagonist, Raidou, can equip three Combat Skills at any given time, being able to swap even midbattle. None of the skills cost MAG and only rely on cooldowns, which encouraged me to spam them whenever possible.

And the most practical way to spam them is by lowering their cooldown, which is what Martial Instinct does. Again, I don’t know exactly how much it reduces cooldowns, but by my manual calculation, skills with a 45-second cooldown dropped to 35-ish.

That’s why pairing Martial Instinct alongside Infallible Command and Null Phys is such a powerful combo, as I mentioned earlier. The only problem is forging all the weapons that contain these different skills.

2

Blessing of Mercury

Gatling Gunner Demons

RAIDOU Remastered 10 Best Summoner Skills (10)

Effect

Reduces demons’ MAG consumption

How to Acquire

Forge Vanargand

If you’re not that big a fan of randomness but still want to optimize your demons’ MAG usage, then Blessing of Mercury is your go-to. The effect is simple, but remember my whole speech about simplicity and happiness?

My strategy, as I’ve repeated incessantly by now, was putting two demons with strong spells targeting enemy weaknesses, abusing light sword attacks to keep my MAG reserves high, and stunlocking every enemy.

Blessing of Mercury played right into that, letting my demons fire off offensive spells one after another (they have no cooldown) or spam healing magic to keep me standing.

Want to crank it up even more? Pair Blessing of Mercury with Capricious Miracle and watch your MAG gauge stay full at all times.

1

Magnetize

More MAG, More Destruction

RAIDOU Remastered 10 Best Summoner Skills (11)

Effect

Restores 50% of max MAG

How to Acquire

Forge Type 32 Gunto

By now, you’ve probably figured out I’m a MAG addict. Besides items, one practical way to restore MAG is by using light sword attacks. But what if your HP is low, you’re too scared to get close to enemies, and your MAG gauge is bone dry?

Enter Magnetize, the best Combat Skill. Magnetize restores 50% of your total MAG, and that’s it. I can’t recall how many times I was about to die to a boss, and then I started spamming the dodge button until Magnetize came off cooldown and used it on the spot.

With my MAG restored, my demon healed me, and I was ready to jump back into the fight. Magnetize is also easily learned by crafting one of the earlier weapons, so it’s a great way to keep your MAG topped up while you haven’t unlocked other passives yet.
