Bullet Surge Steam Review

Bullet Surge Steam Review

Bullet Surge is a puzzle game based on a board game called Bullet:

Bullet Surge is a puzzle game basically with the trappings of a board game. I have to give it credit there, it is an extremely well made game. Not going to knock it there at all. There is score attack, VS. Boss, and Online Mode to play, and lots of heroines to play, who all play differently. The issue with Bullet Surge has to do with its complexity. The beauty of most puzzle games is that they are easy to pick up, hard to master. When I play a Tetris-like game or a match 3, it’s easy to get a hold of, as most of them are clones of each other. I load up Sweet Sugar Candy and know exactly what to do. Bullet Surge requires you to play not one, but two different tutorials to understand what the hell is going on. And what is going on? Well…

The basics of Bullet Surge is you shoot bullets onto a table, giving you one action point. Then you move around the bullets using action points. Then you remove bullets from the table by putting them into one of several patterns at the bottom. The bullet number refers to which empty space it’ll go into, so a 3 bullet will move into the third empty space. If there are no valid spaces to shoot into, a bullet will hit you and take away the points. From there it gets infinitely complex as each heroine has her own play style and my head just starts hurting.

I’ve never played the board game this is based on so I can’t say how close it is. But standing on its own, I simply cannot recommend it to the average player due to how complex and nuanced it can get. If you want to take the time and do the tutorials and learn the ins and outs, you’ll find a lot to like. The rest looking for a quick pick-up and play, look elsewhere. Therefore, this gets a Your Mileage May Vary with a seven score.

Overall: Bullet Surge is an adaptation of a board game and all the complexity that comes with it, that may be a turn-off to some.

Verdict: Your Mileage May Vary(YMMV)

Score: 7

Last Epoch devs Eleventh Hour Games have been acquired by Krafton

Last Epoch devs Eleventh Hour Games have been acquired by Krafton

Subnautica 2 publisher Krafton have acquired Last Epoch devs Eleventh Hour Games, ahead of the latest season launching next month.

In a post on the Last Epoch forum Judd Cobler, Founder of Eleventh Hour Games, wrote “Today I’m excited to announce that Eleventh Hour Games is joining Krafton, the powerhouse behind PUBG, who shares our passion for the action RPG genre and is ready to help fuel our efforts in raising Last Epoch to new heights. With this partnership we will have the opportunity and resources to execute on our goal of creating the very best ARPG in the genre.

After speaking with dozens of potential strategic partners, Krafton clearly demonstrated that they’re aligned in helping us achieve our goals and can both enable and guide us through some of the largest upcoming challenges we’ll face as a studio. This partnership will allow us to deliver things we’ve only dreamed of previously and I’m excited to share details on those at a later date”.

Cobler noted how Eleventh Hour Games will be hiring “many” roles in the “near future”.

This was announced by Eleventh Hour Games the same day they released a full trailer for Season 3 of Last Epoch.

Related: back in September 2024, Eleventh Hour Games dropped support for their Native Linux version of Last Epoch telling people to use Proton instead.

From the Krafton press release: “We are thrilled to welcome Eleventh Hour Games into the KRAFTON family,” said Maria Park, Head of Corporate Development at KRAFTON. “The team’s commitment to the ARPG community and innovative approach to game development resonated strongly with our values. Their rise from a grassroots studio to a globally renowned ARPG developer is nothing short of remarkable. We believe this acquisition lays the groundwork for diversifying KRAFTON’s genre portfolio and expanding distinctive franchise IPs. This acquisition also reaffirms our unwavering passion for great games and the teams that build them. We will always stand behind developers who put players first.”

KRAFTON acquired 100 percent of Eleventh Hour Games’ shares. The acquisition amount includes an initial consideration of USD 96 million.

Krafton are currently involved in a pretty dramatic legal spat with the original Subnautica founders, but that’s clearly not putting the brakes on the rest of their publishing. Hopefully this won’t one day turn into a sour situation as well. Probably not the best timing to be announcing such a thing though.

Shadowheart actor begs Baldur’s Gate 3 fans not to play her as an origin character

Shadowheart actor begs Baldur’s Gate 3 fans not to play her as an origin character

Most people playing Baldur’s Gate 3 likely play through the massive CRPG as their Tav, a custom, blank-slate character that can be moulded however you want, but there are other options.

Baldur’s Gate 3 also allows players to pick any of the game’s beloved party members and play through the game as them. You can play through the entire game as Astarion, roleplaying as the suave vampire, or any of the other game’s party members. However, Shadowheart actor Jennifer English really doesn’t want you to play as her character.

Shadowheart doesn’t want you to play as her

Speaking to Fall Damage, English explained that players will miss out on almost all of her performance as you play through the game. Outside of some very minor occasions, origin characters don’t get to speak, despite how much time and effort their actors put into all of the reactions in-game.

English explained that playing Shadowheart as an origin character takes away a lot from the character, including some of her favourites. The actor notes that it’s a shame Origin players can’t hear iconic lines such as the iconic “God’s favourite princess” line.

However, she did note that some lines are still present such as the line in the character creator where lovely ‘ol Shart says: “My lady Shar tasked me with a mission of such secrecy that I surrendered great swathes of my memory in order to safeguard the knowledge of it.”

“It’s [during] the idle at the beginning, where you can possibly play as me – but don’t do that, because then you lose loads of my conversational dialogue,” she said (thanks, GR).

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with playing as origin characters. In fact, it’s a perfectly fun way to play, and there are unique lines for characters depending on who you’re playing as. Larian certainly put a tonne of work into playing the game this way, even it does mean you’re missing out on some incredible acting work.

Love and Deepspace’s goodest boy Xavier finally gets his turn to be an edgy goth in his third Myth story

Love and Deepspace’s goodest boy Xavier finally gets his turn to be an edgy goth in his third Myth story

The banner events continue in Love and Deepspace, this time with another Memory Pair Event for Xavier. The Fallen Crown event kicked off earlier today, giving Xavier his third Myth, bringing him in line with Rafayel, who got his own third Myth a little over one month ago.

Fallen Crown is available as part of this limited-time event, now through August 8.

Like all Love and Deepspace Myths, Xavier’s latest expands his lore, adding a new chapter to his character’s development. Fallen Crown is told from Xavier’s perspective, and it’s a reflection on their past life.

What most players are here for, of course – apart from more fan fiction fuel – is the new 5-Star Memory Pair, which you can acquire through the Wish Pool. This is only obtainable during the event’s limited runtime.

Unlocking Fallen Crown will also reveal a new companion form for the handsome fella: King of Dark Night. This new variant not only has a unique outfit, it also comes with new voice lines, as well as battle animations.

Elsewhere in this event, you’ll also find a new Plushie – Coolie Scoop, available as a limited companion item. The event kicks off v10.0 and v10.1 of Hunter Contest, too. If you log in every day during the event, you’ll receive a free 4-Star Memory for Rafayel.

Finally, the Chocolate Shop has been updated with a new theme to reflect the event, so take a moment to browse the collection as the event runs along. While you do that, you may also want to check out our list of updated Love and Deepspace codes for July, and a recap of what banner events are, how they work and their currently-known schedule.

8 Upcoming Disco Elysium Clones To Keep On Your Radar

8 Upcoming Disco Elysium Clones To Keep On Your Radar

In the world of gaming, there are a handful of games that, more than any other, prompt players upon finishing to ask, ‘Is there anything else quite like that out there?’ Mainly because they have an insatiable hunger for more.

Related

This Game Is Disco Elysium With Demons, & It’s Fantastic

Demonic possession, time loops, insane choices. Tick, tick, and tick.

Sadly, though, the games that prompt this question in such volume also happen to be the games that are the most unique and unmatched for design excellence. A category that Za/Um’s Disco Elysium very much falls into, as the fact that the game exists at all is nothing short of a small miracle.

The game is a staggering achievement that is somewhat like the classic CRPGs of old, but equally, a completely different beast entirely, making it one of those bucket list games you should play at least once.

But, with the breakup and legal fallout surrounding Za/Um, and the phoenix projects popping up left, right, and center, it seems we have a healthy stream of Disco Elysium-likes on the horizon.

So, in anticipation of these ambitious titles, I want to highlight what’s coming down the line and hopefully add a few more games to your ever-growing wishlist.

8

The Demons Told Me To Make This Game

What A Mouthful

2835690_514

Let’s get started with a game that I recently previewed and had an absolute ball with. The quirky but rather clumsily titled The Demons Told Me To Make This Game.

This game is effectively what would happen if you took Disco Elysium, popped it into a blender with time loopers like Slay The Princess, and In Stars and Time. Then threw in some Stranger Things-esque small-town weirdness for good measure.

It’s a game where you’re actively encouraged to investigate the ‘what-ifs’, listen to your inner demon feeding you intrusive thoughts, and guide your hosts through each scenario without ending up in the clutches of some Lovecraftian nasty.

The writing is zany, the characters and world are interesting, and the time-loop format allows for plenty of experimentation to gather new clues, follow new dialogue paths, and, most importantly, survive in this world where the wall between Earth and Hell is as thin as tissue paper.

This game is currently in early access right now with one of five planned episodes available, so do yourself a favor and give this one a try.

7

Shore of Jord

What Lurks In The Shadows

Shores of Jord

Just as Harry Dubois is a man who struggles to deal with his past, in Shore of Jord, you’ll play as the troubled soul Orm Junger, as they wrestle with who truly is in the driving seat. Him, or his alter ego, Shadow.

Inspired by Scandinavian Noir, you’ll encounter a setting still enduring the aftereffects of Ragnarök, and your goal will be to explore, make sense of the world around you, engage with larger-than-life characters, and make tough decisions that, in true classic CRPG fashion, you’ll simply have to live with.

You’ll need to manage your time carefully to ensure you make each passing day count, and you’ll need to dig deep into the lore to understand where this world starts and the influences of our own end.

It looks surreal, oppressive, and rich in detail, which is all a Disco Elysium fan could hope for, so this one is well worthy of wishlisting, even at this early stage.

6

Glasshouse

Cast The First Stone

Glasshouse Concept Demo

If anyone remembers the classic Elder Scrolls quest Whodunit, which has you attend a party in Skingrad and systematically murder everyone without anyone catching on, that’s not too far off what you’ll be signing up for if you choose to play Glasshouse. Albeit, this experience looks a whole lot more bleak.

Trapped at the scene of a triple homicide during a military lockdown as a World War takes shape outside, you’ll need to use this time indoors wisely to investigate the scene, get to know your neighbours, and figure out who the murderer is before you also end up with a knife in your back.

This game is also a deeply politically charged one, much like Disco Elysium, where you will be urged to shape your ideologies in real time, and also, much like Disco Elysium, the world is steeped in dread and sorrow. So, don’t expect a happy ending.

We have no demos, dates, or hints of a release window to share for this one, but be sure to keep it on your radar moving forward.

5

Hope Town

Hoping For A Big Scoop

Hope Town Screenshot

The job of a journalist, no matter where they are or what they have at their disposal, is to find an angle and turn a story. But when you get sent to a sleepy little mining town in the middle of nowhere, you would think that it would be nearly impossible to find something juicy.

However, there seems to be plenty to work with in Hope Town, as the area is an uncanny valley of ruins and conspiracy, and the fabric of this small society has the capacity to crumble to such a degree that the shape of the world is called into question.

So you, looking for the latest scoop that could relaunch your career, will need to use your pen as a sword to stir suspicion, control public opinion, and pull on the puppet strings of the residents of this mining town.

That said, due to the interconnected nature of the game’s intricate systems, we reckon that your decisions will affect you and your psyche just as much as they affect the world around you.

It’s an intriguing project with one of the most striking art styles of the bunch, so be sure to keep tabs on it as it develops.

4

Rue Valley

Let’s Do The Time Warp

Rue Valley Screenshot

You want more Groundhog Day scenarios? Well, we have another Disco Elysium-inspired time loop that will be right up your alley. Or should I say, Valley?

Unlike TDTMTMTG listed above, Rue Valley isn’t as much of a puzzle to solve as it is a time loop that allows you to explore, role-play, and carve out a path within the temporal anomaly you find yourself in.

It’s both a daily cycle that you’ll never want to stop experimenting with, and one that you literally can’t escape unless you delve deep into the deepest recesses of this sun-scorched environment.

A demo is currently available for this ambitious and exciting cartoon comic strip-style caper. So, do check out the taster course for this title, and wishlist it so you don’t miss any further updates, as we reckon this one will be pretty special.

3

Esoteric Ebb

DND With More Hehe

Esoteric Ebb Gameplay

One thing that makes Disco Elysium so unique is that, despite focusing on a grim and bleak setting —a politically charged powder keg— the game is still able to be routinely silly and offer some truly slapstick humor at times.

This is something that Esoteric Ebb aims to emulate through the means of satire. Taking the core principles of a DND campaign and then flipping the script to offer something wholly different and much more comical.

Basically, this is a game that aims to offer the depth and freedom of choice of fantasy games like Baldur’s Gate 3 and the like, but equally, doesn’t take itself too seriously to allow players to express themselves and roleplay in a fantasy setting like never before.

Rolling twenties for skill checks and priming your build will be as important as ever. So, grab your twenty-sided die, your goblin sidekick, and dive into this game’s demo to see what this one is all about.

2

Project C4

The Official Spiritual Successor

Project C4 Artwork

Of all the games listed here, this is the one that we probably know the least about, but equally, it’s the one that has the most chance of bearing an uncanny resemblance to the original Disco Elysium. Mainly because this is the next game set to come out courtesy of Za/Um.

Granted, the employee landscape of Za/Um is a very different one for reasons too dense to get into right now. Check out this documentary if you want to know more. But, light skepticism aside, we have to hope and pray that they can catch lightning in a bottle again.

What we do know is that this new game will be a sci-fi epic with sprinklings of espionage, and that the game will not be Disco Elysium 2 in any shape or form, which is probably for the best, honestly.

It for all the world looks like a game where Disco Elysium and Citizen Sleeper collide, and if that doesn’t get you excited, I don’t know what will.

1

XXX Nightshift

The Rogue Project

XXX Nightshift dialogue

If you’re someone who wasn’t down with what went down at Za/Um and would be more comfortable siding with the defectors of that studio, then your best bet is to follow the story of XXX Nightshift, the upcoming game from Dark Math Games.

Mirroring their former employers, the former Disco devs have decided to go down the Sci-fi route, allowing players to explore a peculiar ski resort setting in Antarctica in the off-season. A resort that defies explanation and seems to exist outside of time and space.

Naturally, this means you’ll be dropped in the deep end of a world where you can roleplay however you choose, get lost in the rich tapestry of politics and social structures within the resort, and perhaps even discover that, masked by the ruckus of the endless parties, this resort hides a gruesome secret.

It’s yet another politically infused detective RPG, but in a setting you’ll have never witnessed anything like before. So, keep an eye on this one, and support the former Disco devs as they try to do the impossible all over again.

The Fantastic Four’s Franklin Richards is one very special baby

The Fantastic Four’s Franklin Richards is one very special baby

In the opening scene of Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four: First Steps, Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) discovers that she’s pregnant and breaks the news to her husband and fellow superhero team member Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal). Reed freaks out about normal parent stuff, like babyproofing their retro-futuristic home/headquarters, the Baxter Building. But he’s also worried about the possibility that the cosmic rays that gave him and Sue superpowers might cause abnormalities in the kid.

Although Reed causes some family friction by spending more time developing scanning technology for prenatal inspections than on building nursery furniture, he’s right to be worried. Franklin is a very special baby with a long history in Marvel Comics, and his birth has big implications for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Like the rest of the Fantastic Four, Franklin Richards was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in the ’60s. But while his parents have fairly standard powers — stretching for Reed, invisibility plus forcefields for Sue — Franklin is a mutant with the ability to warp reality itself. He is one of the most powerful beings in all of Marvel Comics, topping even the Omega Level mutant power classification given to Jean Grey and Magneto. His power is viewed as equivalent to the Celestials that appeared in Eternals and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

While most mutants don’t manifest their powers until they hit puberty, the comics version of Franklin starts demonstrating his abilities when he’s still a toddler. In a 1973 Fantastic Four arc by Gerry Conway, Annihilus — a Fantastic Four villain from the antimatter universe the Negative Zone — kidnaps baby Franklin and uses a machine to unleash his full potential. Franklin’s abilities prove way too much for a child to control, and Reed has to place him in a coma. The kid wakes up 10 issues later to battle Ultron, which makes his powers settle back down.

Photo: 20th Century Studios/Marvel Studios

In a 1982 arc by John Byrne, Franklin gets frustrated trying to solve a Rubik’s Cube and uses his powers to age himself into an adult body, though he couldn’t actually gain more emotional maturity. He winds up going back to being a kid, placing restrictions on his own abilities to allow him to have something of a normal childhood.

[Ed. note: This section contains light spoilers for Fantastic Four: First Steps.]

Annihilus isn’t the only villain who’s kidnapped Franklin. The super-child has also been abducted by his time-traveling grandfather and the psychic entity Onslaught. In Fantastic Four: First Steps, it’s Galactus who wants to steal the baby.

Galactus and Franklin share a deep connection in the comics. Franklin actually became the planet-eating cosmic entity in Jim Krueger and John Paul Leon’s 1999 alternate universe Earth X series. In Jonathan Hickman’s 2012 run of Fantastic Four, Franklin resurrects Galactus so that he can fight a group of Celestials, who are trying to conquer the multiverse using the same Bridge technology Reed experiments with in the film. In Fantastic Four: First Steps, Galactus sees Franklin as a possible successor who can absorb Galactus’ never-ending hunger and take over the role of eating planets.

Galactus’ reasoning is that Franklin also possesses the Power Cosmic, a source of unlimited power that Galactus and the Silver Surfer wield. While the MCU has lightly broached the idea that its setting might include mutants (and outright dropped them into other multiverse settings), it seems like Marvel is going for a different explanation for Franklin’s power. That could also explain the baby’s biggest moment in the movie.

Galactus looms over the Statue of Liberty in Fantastic Four: First Steps

Photo: Marvel Studios/20th Century Studios

[Ed. note: This section contains major spoilers for Fantastic Four: First Steps, including its ending and mid-credits scene.]

In order to save their world, Earth-828, Reed and Sue use their own child as bait for Galactus, luring him into a trap that teleports him somewhere far away. Sue uses an immense amount of power to push Galactus into position, then seemingly dies of exhaustion. But while everyone is mourning the Invisible Woman, Franklin reaches out for his mom and glows for a bit, and Sue comes back to life.

There is a group of mutants in Marvel Comics with the power to revive the dead, but Franklin isn’t one of them. His powers mostly manifest as telepathy, precognition, and energy blasts. His ability to resurrect his mom is probably due to the fact that she died from draining all of the power she gained from exposure to cosmic rays, which are effectively a weaker form of the Power Cosmic. Franklin was probably able to give her a recharge, like using an electric shock to restart a stopped heart, but it’s unlikely he’d be able to revive someone who didn’t die in similar circumstances.

The Fantastic Four’s questionable decision to publicly reveal that Galactus wanted their baby probably made Doctor Doom pretty curious about what makes the kid so special. It’s unclear what he actually wants from Franklin – maybe to have his face healed, given that he’s taking off his mask in front of the kid? But we’ll presumably have to wait until Avengers: Doomsday to find out.

Detective Pikachu 2025 Steelbook Edition Is Only $28 At Amazon

Detective Pikachu 2025 Steelbook Edition Is Only At Amazon

Amazon has the Detective Pikachu Limited Edition Steelbook on sale for only $28. Released in late April, this 4K Blu-ray edition had climbed to as high as $42.49 last month (and prior to launch). The current $28 price matches the all-time low for this adorable collectible version of charming live-action Pokemon film.

Detective Pikachu originally released on Blu-ray back in 2019. At the time, Best Buy had an exclusive edition with a steelbook case. That version is long gone–Best Buy doesn’t even carry movies these days–and is regularly listed for ridiculous prices on eBay and other marketplaces. The new edition comes with a different steelbook case featuring Ryme City’s best detective.

Detective Pikachu Limited Edition Steelbook

It’s worth noting that Detective Pikachu’s standard editions routinely sell for cheap. At the moment, the 4K Blu-ray edition is $15 and the 1080p Blu-ray is $8.

Detective Pikachu played a huge part in changing the perception and expectations for video game adaptations. It also provided a blueprint for live-action adaptations of other storied game franchises with similar cartoonish graphical styles. Until The Super Mario Bros. Movie shattered records in 2023, Detective Pikachu was the highest grossing video game adaptation of all time. At the start of 2025, it still held the No. 2 spot. That didn’t last for long, though. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 dashed ahead of Detective Pikachu early in the year. Then it was passed up again by A Minecraft Movie, which nearly became the second video game adaptation to reach $1 billion at the box office.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie – Walmart-exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook

If you want more video game adaptations with collectible steelbook cases, you’re in luck: There are a number of new and upcoming 4K Blu-rays of some of the most popular films based on games. Earlier this year, Walmart released the exclusive edition of The Super Mario Bros. Movie shown above, and you can snag a copy for only $28.

A Minecraft Movie’s Steelbook Edition is available for $38, and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has two unique Limited Edition Steelbooks, one featuring Sonic and an Amazon-exclusive edition with Shadow.

In October, Amazon is releasing an exclusive Ultimate Collector’s Edition for Five Nights at Freddy’s. This 4K Blu-ray edition comes with a steelbook case and numerous collectibles for $75. You can preorder Five Nights at Freddy’s: Ultimate Collector’s Edition for $75.

Video Game TV Adaptations – Steelbook Editions

On the TV adaptation side, Arcane Season 2 arrives on 4K and 1080p Blu-ray on October 28 with two unique Steelbook Editions. The Last of Us fans can preorder Season 2’s Steelbook Edition for $35 (was $47) at Amazon ahead of its September 23 launch.

Whoops, Battlefield 6’s official reveal was entirely about the single-player campaign – and we didn’t even get a date

Whoops, Battlefield 6’s official reveal was entirely about the single-player campaign – and we didn’t even get a date

EA and DICE just debuted the first-ever trailer for Battlefield 6, right on schedule. The trailer premiered on YouTube moments ago, just days after the game’s official title was announced. The reveal trailer brought our first proper look at the game’s overall aesthetic, confirmed its setting, and offered a brief introduction to its main fighting factions.

Sadly, however, it did not have the sort of news that would get Battlefield fans excited.

Manage cookie settings

For one, today’s reveal trailer did not come with a release date. The trailer focused entirely on the game’s single-player campaign, which spans several parts of the globe – including the United States. We’re introduced to Pax Armata, the enemy faction of the game.

The actual multiplayer reveal won’t happen until Thursday, July 31. This is a whole event, as rumours suggested, that’s going to be lead by developers from the various Battlefield Studios teams walking us through multiplayer for the first time.

EA said to expect a look at core features, maps, as well as the game’s main modes – so perhaps that’s where we’re going to hear about the rumoured battle royale mode, too. And, very much in the style of Call of Duty’s own reveal events, streamers will be going live with their own live gameplay from across the world.

We know that there’s going to be an open beta, but due to the focus of today’s trailer, we didn’t get any new details about that, either.

The Battlefield 6 beta will, of course, be most players’ first opportunity to go hands-on with the game prior to its launch, as all the recent Battlefield Labs tests have been limited.

Another reason the beta will be critical in helping the teams deliver a better game at release is that it’s going to offer a potential solution to the issue of whether or not weapons should be locked to classes, as is Battlefield tradition.

DICE recently confirmed that it’s moving forward with its initial plan to allow all classes to use the game’s entire arsenal, a decision many longtime Battlefield fans are strongly against. Though the game will incentivise players to stick to their class’ Signature Weapon, many feel it won’t be enough.

Not Captain Price? | Image credit: Battlefield Studios, EA.

The beta will offer a playlist with Signature Weapons locked, as well as another where everyone is free to use every weapon. It’s not clear whether this will remain the case for launch, but you can definitely see this as the developers’ way of gauging real-world player interest.

There’s a lot riding on the success of Battlefield 6, so the next few months will be crucial to EA’s mission to, reportedly, attract 100 million players, not to mention convince jaded longtime fans to jump back in after the disappointment of Battlefield 2042.

Battlefield 6 Trailer Shows Off Singleplayer Campaign Ahead Of Multiplayer Reveal

Battlefield 6 Trailer Shows Off Singleplayer Campaign Ahead Of Multiplayer Reveal

As promised, EA has published the first trailer for the upcoming Battlefield 6. A full multiplayer gameplay reveal is promised for July 31st. For now, we’ve been given a glimpse at the game’s singleplayer, albeit without any gameplay in sight.

Battlefield 6 opens with the President of the United States making a speech after what appears to be an attack on home soil by Pax Armata, the world’s biggest private military company.

According to the blurb on the video, Pax Armata seeks to destroy NATO and its allies as they uphold their motto: “Our Protection, Your Peace.”

“Lock & load for the ultimate all-out warfare experience. Fight in high-intensity infantry combat. Rip through the skies in aerial dogfights. Demolish your environment for a strategic advantage. In a war of tanks, fighter jets, and massive combat arsenals, your squad is the deadliest weapon. This is Battlefield 6.”

Battlefield 6 will launch on PlayStation, Xbox and PC sometime in the future. Rumours suggest a late 2025 launch date. More specifically, leaks suggest October 10, which has seemingly been confirmed by Battlefield 6’s own disclaimers page that has now been taken down.
