A new Fortnite leak is spreading all over social media, and it is a big one. It looks like Epic Games is getting ready to drop another massive collaboration, this time with one of the most iconic characters of all time. The leak, which comes from a reputable source, claims that a James Bond collaboration will come later this year.

Considering how many amazing collaborations Fortnite has recently had, this comes as no surprise. Adding the iconic secret agent would be a great move, which is why we hope that the leak is accurate. Without further ado, let’s check everything we know about the potential collaboration.

The Fortnite x James Bond collaboration will come in late 2025, according to the leak

The James Bond leak comes from SamLeakss on X. The leaker claims that the collaboration will arrive in late 2025, so we can expect it in a few months. Considering the leaker’s track record, this leak has a high chance of being true. The leaker pointed out that only Bond’s car, the Aston Martin DB5, has been confirmed so far. However, skins should be added too.

Interestingly, Epic Games brought up James Bond in a Fortnite survey from a few months ago. This is what makes the leak even more credible, and it seems that the Fortnite community is interested in this crossover.

The collaboration might come during the Fortnite x Simpsons season. Image by VideoGamer

The current Fortnite season is scheduled to end on November 1, which is when Epic Games will likely release the Simpsons mini-season. The end of the year will once again bring a new chapter, so the James Bond collaboration should arrive either in Chapter 7 or during the mini-season.

As we approach the end of the year, we will likely get more information regarding the exciting collaboration! While waiting, make sure to unlock all the free skins in Fortnite.

Vampire Survivors latest Beta adds online play and more new content

Vampire Survivors latest Beta adds online play and more new content

Vampire Survivors is finally getting the promised online mode, with a Beta now available to try that also includes some new content.

There’s quite a few differences to playing it online instead of in local co-op including:

Batch level up – Depending on the player count you will only see level up after all players have leveled up. So on 4 players the level up screen will only show every 4 levels.
DLC – You will only be able to use DLC online if every player owns that DLC. We’re retro-fitting Online into an originally single player game written in JS by a solo dev, so there are a lot of technical issues we have to move around or worry about later, one of which is the way that DLC expansions are handled.
Free Roam – In online you are not restricted to the same screen, you can all freely move around the stage independently. (Note: You will be pulled into a boss room if any player walks into it)
Spectator mode – When you die in multiplayer you can use the mouse to jump to players who are still alive. You also respawn where they are if you are spectating them.
Achievements – You will have the choice at the end of the run to carry over any achievements earned in that run back into your own save file.
Speed up – Disabled in online.
Pause menu – To help flow, when you pause, you do not pause for everyone else, you just get a small window of invincibility

For the PC release, it will be a free update but they’re not giving an exact date on when it will leave Beta, other than sometime this “Autumn”. Save data will carry over as well, so you should hopefully not have any problems when it does leave Beta. There’s no matchmaking for online mode, it’s purely based on room codes or invites. Currently no cross-play either.

Plus some new content was also added as a Preview of the new update in the same opt-in Beta:

15 new achievements to unlock:

2 new stages
2 new characters
2 new weapons and their evolutions
1 old passive weapon
3 new darkanas
3 new relics to get:

1 new power-up
1 new character transformation
1 new game mode: PARTY MODE

That’s only a small slice of what’s to come, as the new content will be added to the Beta in batches. Two more parts are due to be added but they aren’t saying what just yet.

See all the details in the announcement.

MGS3 Remake’s Collector’s Edition Looks Cheap And Bad

MGS3 Remake’s Collector’s Edition Looks Cheap And Bad

I’ve purchased few collector’s editions in my time. I never know where I’m gonna put the damn things, I often end up selling the stuff later on, and, well, sometimes you hear and see horror stories that dissuade you from shelling out two or three times the cost of a game to just get some ugly plastic junk. Sadly, it seems that the excellent Metal Gear Solid Delta has that very problem, with its special edition containing a diorama that sounds neat in practice, but is actually pretty ugly and disappointing according to fans.

Read More: Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater: The Kotaku Review

Advertised as a pretty neat-looking diorama of a memorable scene from early in Snake Eater when Snake has to recover his backpack from a hanging tree branch, fans on r/metalgearsolid are sharing their disappointment with the actual product. The foliage not only doesn’t match what was advertised, but in some cases it looks like it was just tossed in there, with some stuff laying on its side. Oh, and the model of Snake? Yeesh. I’ll also add that Snake is supposed to call Major Zero on the radio after he gets the backpack, so like omg this scene just totally disrespects the lore.

If you managed to get your hands on the Japanese or European versions of Delta’s collector’s edition, however, you likely have a much prettier piece of shelf decoration. In Japan it retails for 38,500 yen or around 260 bucks, a bit more than it did here, but the bust of Snake it comes with isn’t just satisfyingly detailed, with the pale viper wrapped around him as matches the advertisements; it also features a lovely reference to one of the game’s ending scenes in the white and red flowers blooming around its base.

So if you’re an MGS sicko like myself, and you do have shelf space to spare, definitely figure out how you can get your hands on the overseas version of this collector’s edition.

Genshin Impact 6.0 isn’t actually called that, will instead be known as “Version Luna 1”, and is coming in early September

Genshin Impact 6.0 isn’t actually called that, will instead be known as “Version Luna 1”, and is coming in early September

We’ve been waiting for this one! After a few teasers, including as recently as gamescom – featuring a very hot anime man, MiHoYo has finally lifted the veil off the major upcoming Genshin Impact chapter.

This is what you may have been expecting would be called version 6.0. Its official name was revealed to be Version Luna 1, which could signal a change in what these will be called going forward.

Song of the Welkin Moon: Segue is the name of this particular episode, and it’s only the first part of what the developer says will be a year-long Song of the Welkin Moon saga.

Manage cookie settings

Version Luna 1, or Song of the Welkin Moon: Segue, will arrive in Genshin Impact globally on September 10. If you’ve been following the action RPG with any regularity, you’ll no doubt be aware that it introduces the new Nod-Krai region.

After you install the update, you’ll be able to sail north towards the new region – provided you’ve completed Mondstadt’s main story and and reached AR 28. Nod-Krai is made up of three islands. This kicks off the new Archon Quests, where you’re going to accompany Lauma of the Frostmoon Scions and learn more about the conflict with the Fatui. The same quest can be started after finishing Liyue’s storyline.

Hot boy Flins is the second ally in this story, who, with your help, may resist the Wild Hunt. There’s a major story thread about a plot to claim the moon’s power (!) by the Fatui, and that’s where Fatui Harbinger, Marionette, comes in. There’s another Harbinger in this story, too, one who’s retreated to her birthplace in Nod-Krai. She’s referred to as The Damselette, and she’s worshiped as the Moon Maiden. And you do want to meet her, because you may get a buff or two to help you out.

Watch on YouTube

Nod-Krai is home to an elemental force called Kuuvahki, which you can draw upon. It can sometimes take the firm of the Kuuhenki, an elemental lifeform. Kuuvahki, of course, can be used in combat, with the big new special being Lunar Reactions.

Three new companions, who hail from the same region, will join the roster. Lauma is a 5-Star Moonchanter and Catalyst wielder. She’s the first to utilise the new Lunar-Bloom reaction, which grants her her Verdant Dew that she uses to boost the team’s Bloom damage.

The recently-teased Flins is another 5-Star companion. A Polearm wielder, Flins fires Lunar-Charged strikes that can either be delivered in a massive single attack, or turn into a storm of smaller spear attacks. If you bring him along with you as you explore, he may lead you to some discoveries, thanks to his ability to hear the whispers of the Wild Hunt

The third and final new addition is Aino, a 4-Star Hydro Claymore wielder. Aino is something of a genius, with her mechanical contraptions doing a lot of the heavy lifting. The list includes a duck-shaped device she calls Knuckle Duckle, which is just delightful. Aino will join your team for free if you progress the new Archon Quests in Nod-Krai.

It doess look pretty cool! | Image credit: MiHoYo.

Did we mention that this is a stacked update? Meeting Points is one of the new features arriving with Version Luna 1. MiHoYo says it will let you “step into the daily lives” of your companions, which sort of sounds like royalty missions from Mass Effect and other RPGs.

Lauma will be available immediately upon the update’s release, who will arrive with the rerun of Nahida in the Event Wishes. The update’s second half is what’s going to add Flins, Aino, and bring back Yelan.

Elsewhere in this episde, you can look forward to a few big tweaks to Adventure EXP, which can now be earned from more sources. MiHoYo is adding materials to the battle pass rewards, too. It will also now be possible to preview the locked affix of any Artifact in advance. If you have too many parties already, you’ll be happy to learn that you can save more team presets. One of the biggest additions is a new item – Masterless Stella Fortuna – which lets you use any extra 5-Star Stella Fortuna you might have acquired over the years — available retroactively from when you opened your account! — to push a character beyond the cap and up to level 100.

If you log in when the update arrives, you’ll find a host of freebies waiting for you, such as a free 5-Star character of your choice (from the Standard Wish Pool), Primogems, and more.

Watch on YouTube

HoYoverse also took this opportunity to reveal more details about Miliastra Wonderland, which brings UGC gameplay elements into Genshin Impact. Creators can create stages using the Miliastra Sandbox editor for all players to enjoy.

You can pull from the game’s many existing assets to create your content. We’ll have to wait until Version Luna 2 before we can get our hands on it, but the trailer above shows off some of what’s possible.

Elden Ring Nightreign is getting a new higher difficulty so you can stop complaining about just how ‘easy’ it is

Elden Ring Nightreign is getting a new higher difficulty so you can stop complaining about just how ‘easy’ it is

FromSoftware has dropped something of an expected announcement for players of Elden Ring Nightreign. If you’re still playing the online co-op action RPG, you’ve likely defeated many, if not most of its Nightlord bosses.

Though the developer keeps adding tougher versions of said bosses – called Everdark Sovereign – the core game’s difficulty remains unchanged, and many players simply don’t find it to be pushing their abilities anymore.

Manage cookie settings

The solution? A new, harder difficulty. FromSoftware calls it The Deep of Night, and it’s going to arrive in Nightreign on Thursday, September 11. Because it raises the base difficulty of each Expedition, Deep of Night is designed for veteran players.

Of course, the enemies you face will be tougher than you’re used to. More interestingly, however, you cannot specify which Nightlord to target before starting the Expedition, meaning you won’t be able to build your character to exploit each of their weaknesses.

Endless how? | Image credit: FromSoftware.

As you explore during the Expedition itself, you’ll also notice that ongoing terrain changes won’t be reflected. The upside is that Deep of Night Expeditions will drop new special items, including special Relics. You’ll also find weapons with more status effects, and some will even have negative effects.

Perhaps the most insidious change, however, is that the deeper into each day you go, the more difficult the game is going to get. This isn’t always going to be a fixed change, however, as it will fluctuate based on your wins and losses within that difficulty.

Finally, FromSoftware confirmed that Depths 4 and 5 will even offer the option of endless battle, though it’s not really clear what that means in practice.

If you’re still deep into Nightreign, our guides will absolutely make a difference in your experience. We recently posted updated guides on how to beat Everdark Tricephalos, and how to beat Everdark Equilibrious Beast – two recent Everdark Sovereign additions.

Turrican – An all time classic game gets another MSX1 tease by TheGeps!

Turrican – An all time classic game gets another MSX1 tease by TheGeps!

Throughout these last few months, I’ve been keeping you in the loop about the latest developments of Turrican for the MSX by TheGeps, Bitcaffe, and Toni Galvez. Well, if you’re hoping for some more news on this game, then as of today some new footage has surfaced, showing just good this work in progress Turrican looks on the MSX. For those of you that haven’t heard of this all time classic before. Turrican was originally released in 1990 by Rainbow Arts and programmed by Manfred Trenz with an incredible soundtrack by Chris Huelsbeck. The game featured great shooting action, powerful weaponry, and amazing game play that is still loved to this day.

Here is what the creator says about this rather cool looking Turrican for the MSX1 which features a top quality soundtrack by Bitcaffe (aka Gabriel Caffarena). “I can hardly believe how much work I’ve been able to accomplish lately on this release of Turrican for MSX! Today I’m presenting a brand new build: I’ve reorganized much of the code, preparing the ROM structure to accommodate the full game (and will continue working on it if Factor5 approves its release). This has caused the file to grow to almost a MB! And it could grow even bigger, but that’s another story…”

“The new features you’ll find, while watching the video and waiting to try the demo for yourself on File Hunter in the next few days, are quite exciting: I’ve finally introduced hidden blocks that contain powerups and additional special weapons (weapons and a shield haven’t been implemented yet). Now you can finally activate the 3-way and 5-way bullets, the phaser, and extend the rotating laser properly. Getting the powerups! Davide has also introduced new gfx elements: a restyle of the “eyes” and, finally, his bats, replacing mine (which were flying around the screen until yesterday). The bat management routine has been improved and speeded up. What more can I say? Enjoy!”

And that’s all we have on the game so far, but we will keep you up to date as we get more from the developer!

TheGeps codingToni Galvez (Has a lot of projects running) will take care of the fixed screen pictures (we plan to put in there some original ones) and additional gfxDavide Bottino (gfx artist in charge)Soundtrack by Bitcaffe (aka Gabriel Caffarena)

EA FC 26 – Going Big on the Stadiums

The world’s game is getting a world-class upgrade in authenticity and EA has confirmed a series of new and exclusive multi-year partnerships for EA SPORTS FC 26, further expanding its already immense roster of licensed content.

Headlining the new additions is a brand-new partnership with one of the world’s most iconic clubs, FC Bayern Munich, and a renewed license with the English FA, featuring both the men’s national team and the reigning UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 champions.

This continued commitment to authenticity ensures that FC 26 will feature over 20,000 athletes, 750+ clubs, 120+ stadiums, and 35+ leagues, all powered by over 300 global football partners.

This latest wave of news is the perfect complement to the recent reveal of the new class of FC 26 ICONs. While that announcement celebrated the legends who shaped the history of the sport, this new collection of partnerships is all about delivering the most comprehensive and authentic representation of the modern, present-day world of football.

“Everything we’ve added to FC 26 has been shaped by the voices of our community,” said James Taylor, Director of Football Partnerships at EA SPORTS FC. “From the return of iconic stadiums and clubs fans have called for, to expanding representation in women’s football at the highest level — every new addition reflects our commitment to authenticity and to celebrating the incredible diversity of the world’s game.”

New Grounds to Conquer: Iconic Stadiums Return

EA has made it clear that they are listening to community feedback, and that is most evident in the return of several fan-favourite stadiums.

Three of the most-requested stadiums are making their way into FC 26:

Allianz Arena: The stunning home of new partner club, FC Bayern.

Stadio Diego Armando Maradona: The legendary and long-awaited home of Napoli.

Tüpraş Stadyumu: The atmospheric cauldron of Beşiktaş.

On top of those, a host of other new stadiums will be added, including the brand-new Hill Dickinson Stadium (Everton), Holstein-Stadion (Holstein Kiel), Stade de la Beaujoire (FC Nantes), and more.

FC 26 is also continuing to elevate both men’s and women’s football. Renewed licensing agreements include the Barclays Women’s Super League, the Arkema Première Ligue, and both the UEFA Women’s Champions League and UEFA Women’s EURO.

New additions, including Chelsea Women and FC Bayern Women, will further strengthen the game’s global representation of elite women’s football.

A Word from the Partners

The new and returning partners are all excited to be a part of the world’s biggest football game.

Michael Diederich, Executive Vice Chairman of FC Bayern said: “Passion, commitment and emotion are the hallmarks of football, both on the pitch and in the virtual world… We at FC Bayern are all excited to share these attributes with our new partner EA SPORTS FC. Together, we want to further expand our interaction with the next generation of football fans: on the pitch and on the game console.“

Zarah Al Kudcy, Chief Revenue Officer at the BWSL, said: “The power of EA SPORTS FC and its utopian world of football has brought the BWSL, our clubs and our players to a whole new audience. Our league and our clubs are already one of the most played in women’s football within the game and we are excited to keep building together.“

The club is yours, and now it’s more authentic than ever before. With a host of new partners, iconic stadiums, and a continued dedication to representing the entire world of football, EA SPORTS FC 26 is shaping up to be the most immersive entry yet.

Bethesda Promises More Starfield Story DLC And Updates: “We have some cool stuff coming”

Bethesda Promises More Starfield Story DLC And Updates: “We have some cool stuff coming”

Since the launch and subsequent mehness of Shattered Space, Bethesda has been awfully quiet about the future of Starfield. This has led to people wondering if the team had wrapped up support for their space RPG and moved on to other things. It seems they aren’t done after all, though, because they’ve just confirmed more story content is coming.

The announcement was rather weird. Instead of revealing this in a Starfield video or social media account, they instead chose to talk about it in a developer spotlight video posted to the official Bethesda Youtube channel.

Timothy Lamb, the Lead Creative Producer of Starfield, was the subject of the 5:46-long video. His ongoing work on Starfield is a major component of the video, and eventually the topic of what’s next for the game comes up.

“I think as it comes to Starfield, I’m really excited for players to see what the team’s been working on,” Lamb said, excitedly. “We have some cool stuff coming, including free updates and features the players have been asking for, as well as a new DLC story.“

Lamb couldn’t offer any other details, but did say that “part of the team has been focused on space gameplay to make the travels there more rewarding.”

Players have been divided on Starfield’s approach to space travel. Many criticised it for relying heavily on menus, loading screens, and fast travel, saying it breaks immersion and makes exploring the galaxy feel fragmented and shallow.

This ties in with recent datamining claiming that a new “cruise” mode is going to be introduced into the game which will replace the current travel system, letting players seamlessly move from world to world. Part of the leak suggested that exiting cruise mode could result in a random battle.

There was also previous rumours that Bethesda have filed a patent for “Starborn” which some people thought might be related to Starfield DLC.

And, of course, there’s the ongoing speculation about when Starfield is going to make the leap to PlayStation.

So there we have it: Starfield will continue to be supported for a while yet.
