How to Complete the Rasquellywag’s Riches Quest in Palia

Starting the Quest

To initiate the Rasquellywag’s Riches quest, read the letter from Auni about the Potato Pod book at your Housing Plot. The quest will start automatically after closing the mail.

Go talk to Auni about his letter

Upon initiating the quest, open the map to find Auni. Go to Auni and speak to him about the letter.

Read the Potato Pod book in the library

After the conversation, go to the library in the Kilima Village. The book will be on the counter table. Interact with it to read about the Potato Pods.

Find and talk to Axel

Axel is a Rockerpod, which you can find at the Central Stables area in Elderwood. Go to the Elderwood and make your way to the Central Stables. Once there, go up the pathways above and follow the compass to find Axel. Interact with the pod to speak to it.

Ask Caleri and Zeki about the Merpods book

Now, go back to the Kilima Valley and speak with Caleri about the Merpods book. Unfortunately, she will not have the book and will tell you that it is Zeki’s possession. Now, find Zeki and speak with him about the Merpods book. Upon speaking with Zeki, he will give you the book. Open the inventory and read the Merpods book.

Fish out Kelpie from the pond

Now, go to the Elderwood and make your way to the pond outside of Red Blossom Cave. The exact location of the pond is F6. Once there, equip the fishing rod and cast the line into the water. Reel out the treasure chest from the pond to catch the Kelpie. After that, a sparkling spot will appear near the pond. Go to it and interact with it to place Kelpie on the ground. Speak with Kelpie to learn about Cosmo’s book.

Find out who has Cosmo’s book

The easiest way to find who has Cosmo’s book is to speak with Caleri. She will tell you that Jel was the last person to check out the Pretty Up Your Pod book. After speaking with Caleri, open the map to find Jel. Go to Jel and speak to him about Cosmo’s book. He will give you the PrettyPods book.

Mine Cosmo from a Platinum Node

Go back to the Elderwood and start looking for the Platinum Nodes in the cavern areas. The Red Blossom Cave is a great place to find a bunch of platinum nodes. Upon finding one, mine the node to find Cosmo. Once done, follow the objective marker on the compass to reach a sparkling spot. Interact with it to place down Cosmo and speak to it.

Find out who has the Mushpod book

Go back to the Kilima Valley and speak with Caleri to learn about the person who has the Mushpod book. She will reveal that Hekla took the book as a present for “Jina”. Open the map to find Jina, then go to her. Speak with Jina to get the Mushpod book.

Find and talk to Hopper

After reading the Mushpod book, go back to the Central Stables in Elderwood. Follow the objective marker on the compass to find Hopper. Speak with Hopper to get the reward.

Once done, go back to Auni and tell him about the treasure. Go through the dialogues, and the quest will conclude.

Completing the Rasquellywag’s Riches quest in Palia will give 3x Potato Pod Prize Bag as a reward.

While Ninja Gaiden 4 might be the most anticipated ninja title of 2025, we’re also getting a retro-inspired side-scroller Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound a few month earlier on PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC on July 31. The initial launch will be for the digital version of the game on all platforms. However, Nintendo Switch and PS5 are also getting physical editions packed with cool collectibles launching on September 12–including Special Edition that comes with a cloth map, double-sided medallion, pins, and more. Preorders for the physical Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound editions are available now. Copies are currently exclusive to the game’s publisher, Silver Lining Direct, but other retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Target are expected to carry the game soon.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is a 2D sidescroller that takes place while Ryu Hayabusa is traveling to America. However, a demonic army invades Hayabusa Village while he’s gone–and it’ll be up to the young Kenji Mozu, this apprentice, to fend them off. But do to that, he’ll need help from the infamous Black Spider Clan.

Ragebound will feature dual protagonists (Kenji Mozu and Kumori), and you’ll need to master both their skills to survive. The game is looking to combine modern gameplay mechanics with old-school visuals, and it’s shaping up to be a unique addition to the iconic Ninja Gaiden franchise. If you can’t wait to play until September 12, the digital version launches on July 31.

Be sure to also check out Ninja Gaiden 4 preorders, as there’s a nice bonus for reserving a copy in advance. Three different versions are up for grabs, including a Deluxe Edition that gets you heaps of in-game gear to kickstart your adventure.

PlayStation’s annoying regional restrictions on PC games have proved infuriating for gamers all across the world. While most gamers were unaffected, those in some regions found themselves unable to play games like Helldivers 2 and other titles due to the restrictions. 

Thankfully, after months of complaints, it appears that PlayStation is finally removing the regional restrictions of its PC releases for a large number of countries. However, not every title has been altered at the time of writing.

As spotted by players online (thanks, Wario64), a number of Steam database updates have changed the regional restrictions of PlayStation games on PC. 

Games such as Helldivers 2, Spider-Man 2, God of War: Ragnarok and The Last of Us: Part 2 are now available to purchase in a large number of additional countries. The change appears to be rolling out to PlayStation PC releases at the time of writing.

It’s been a long time coming, and the introduction of the restrictions last year was a huge controversy for the company. Since the restrictions were put in place, players who previously purchased Helldivers 2 were unable to play the title online without a VPN. 

Additionally, Ghost of Tsushima could be played in a number of countries, but its Legends multiplayer mode was inaccessible due to the regional issues. 

Honestly, PlayStation should’ve removed these restrictions far quicker than they initially did. However, the phrase “better late than never” exists for a reason, and we’re happy that more gamers around the world are no longer punished for simply being born in a different country.

For those with the Fortune Edition of the game, Lost In Random: The Eternal Die launches today on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC.

This comes as part of a four-day Early Access arrangement, and the Standard Edition of the game will launch on the 17th June, 2025, alongside a release onto Game Pass. 

One of the biggest draws of the original action-adventure title Lost in Random was the wonderful world that it took place in. Immediately calling to mind aspects of Psychonauts and Coraline, Lost in Random: The Eternal Die continues with this art style and tone, this time translating it into an asymmetrical roguelike that will have fans of Hades and the like very, very excited.

Playing as Queen Aleksandra, the former ruler of Random, you must traverse four unique biomes on a mission of revenge and redemption, fighting against reams of unique foes, each with attack patterns to learn as you push just that bit further on each run.

You have four weapons in your arsenal, a number of abilities to make use of, and the uber-powerful Fortune die, which can change the outcome of a battle in an instant. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die is all about luck, where one gamble can make or break a run.

If you fancy some unreleased goodness to try out on your Amiga, then make sure to check out the latest game of Gilbert Goodmate aka Gilbert Goodmate and the Mushroom of Phungoria, by Crystal Interactive. An unreleased Amiga Monkey Island inspired graphic adventure game that did later made an appearance on the PC. To coincide with this news story, we’ve got some details about the game which has been sourced via our good friends GamesThatWeren’t, as well as some gameplay footage from Saberman.

And in brief here’s the latest from the website which includes thanks to Tony Aksnes! “Our next entry is for a Monkey Island inspired graphic adventure game called Gilbert Goodmate which was eventually released on PC, but was due to have a release on the Amiga too. The game started out originally as a hobby project in 1996. It got picked up originally by Alive Mediasoft, before being picked up by Crystal Interactive with plans for release in 1998. It seems that this was another casualty of a fading Amiga market at the time, and so the focus was switched to the PC edition – which eventually saw release in 2001, published by FastTrak Software”.

There were plans for:

Valve’s rating system for Steam Deck and SteamOS seems to have sped up recently, with 20,000 games now rated at least playable. Previously they hit 19,000 in May, 18,000 in March and 17,000 in November 2024.

If a game is at least Playable on Steam Deck, it will also be compatible with SteamOS. The ratings for SteamOS are a bit different to how it’s done on Steam Deck with less being checked. The main point for the SteamOS rating is that the game will actually load up and be playable, but performance and features will depend on the specific device you have SteamOS on. Compared with SteamOS where performance is supposed to be checked along with full controller support, resolution and more.

I really do love this one

There have been issues with the ratings in the past. Overall though, the rating is just to show you what should be playable. People have pretty wildly different feelings on what is “playable” though. It’s not a perfect system but even on traditional consoles games slip through that don’t work well. Hopefully Valve will continue tweaking their tests over time to make them as accurate as possible.

Given the unique nature of Steam for Linux systems like Steam Deck / SteamOS, this is only counting games that have actually been tested. Many more will be playable.

One of the worst things is when you see potential and promise in something, but it doesn’t reach the heights you know it can. That is probably the best way to describe my experience with Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon, the dark fantasy open world RPG which uses the King Arthur legend as the basis for the setting and story.

Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon begins strongly. You are a no-name character who is suffering from disease and is locked up on Asylum Island. You are freed by a mysterious character, but they do not help guide you to freedom, instead leaving you to figure out the path through the dangers for yourself.

It is only as you are broken out that you actually create your character, answering questions about what you were doing prior to ending up in the cell. Answering these questions feeds into which attributes get a boost at the beginning, and the playstyle you are considering. At the start you are weak, and Tainted Grail does an excellent job of showing just how that works as different enemy types cross your path and you are almost helpless to beat them, requiring quick thinking or running away.

Once you are away from Asylum Island and the first proper area, Horns of the South, things really do open up. There is the main quest to follow, which involves recovering some of King Arthur’s relics to restore his soul. Arthur’s soul just so happens to be in your body as a passenger and allows you to access various powers and abilities. You can also talk to him at bonfires and get his story, which comes in fragments since his memory is tied to the artifacts.

Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon has a lot of side quests and content within the world too. Many of the quests are pretty well put together and a few have some interesting and fun ways to resolve them, provided you meet the skill checks. You can tell the team have put the effort in to write some entertaining characters too, and the acting is decent too though not quite top tier.

Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon gives you some decent combat options. You can choose to use a sword and shield, dual wield weapons or spells, and combine them so you have a melee weapon in one hand and magic spells in the other. You can also put a few different combinations together so you can switch between quickly. For my playthrough I regularly used spell and sword, with two different combos. One allowed me to summon creatures while dealing heavy damage, while another featured a sword that had life steal and a spell that also stole health from enemies, which can be unstoppable at times.

The efficiency of your spells, weapons, armour are all linked to your attributes. As you level up you will get points to upgrade your attributes, be it physical, perception, spirituality, dexterity, and more, providing a baseline of stats to go alongside skills that you unlock in relation to these categories. Early on you can experiment, but as time goes on you should start focusing on a playstyle to really take full advantage. However, if you get bored of a particular style you can use an Origin potion to reset your points.

There’s something distinctly Oblivion to the visual style of Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon – the original, I mean, and not the remake. There is a good amount of things to discover within the world to discover, such as with dungeons that are hidden in plain sight. The Horns of the South is full of ruins showing how it has been ignored by Kamelot, while the second area of Cunacht has the show of somewhere falling apart as Kamelot tries to move everyone while locals want to stay. However, there is a clear quality divide between these regions, where Horns of the South just feels far more detailed in comparison to Cunacht. It gives a sense that Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon is quite front loaded.

Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon’s technical issues cannot be ignored, despite the regular patches that are being released. The game crashes multiple times, which can be triggered by moving from one place to another, or for some non-obvious reason. There is flickering in the environment that is distracting. There is also a bit of a weird issue when swimming where even if it looks like you are underwater, the oxygen bar doesn’t appear. On occasion, my summons did not engage with enemies or got stuck. Luckily, you can resummon so that is not a big deal, but you would still want it to be better.

Regardless of whether it actually is sustainable or good for the industry, I think we can all agree for that the consumers, Game Pass is a pretty good deal. You get a lot of gaming for your buck. Well, the amount of buck might be going up again, if a new notification spotted on the xCloud website is anything to go by.

Among other notifications such as “GamePassMarketingMobile” and “DownloadCompleted”, @redohx.com claims this new line has been added: “SubscriptionPriceIncrease = SubscriptionPriceIncrease”.

If true, the implication is that Microsoft is considering another price hike for Game Pass, of which xCloud is a part of.

The last increase occurred in July of last year, so this would probably be around the time Xbox would be gearing up for another price bump.

Off the back of the success of the Silent Hill 2 Remake – a remake that blew my initial low expectations out of the water completely – Konami has announced that it is working with Bloober Team once more to remake the original Silent Hill from 1999. We don’t yet have a release window, however, with the game being announced as ‘in development’ from Bloober Team and Konami, with no additional details.

This reveal isn’t exactly surprising, given that Bloober Team announced it would be working with the publisher again in future not long after Silent Hill 2 Remake’s release. This led many, including myself, to believe that remakes of Silent Hill and Silent Hill 3 would be on the cards. After all, Bloober Team did such a good job of faithfully remaking Silent Hill 2, so it would be a damned shame to not give the studio another shot at remaking more cult classic entries in the series.

Fortunately, it’s clear that Konami has thought the same, and Silent Hill fans can now look forward to returning to the foggy, disturbing town of Silent Hill once more. Rather than being introduced to James Sunderland and his less-than-pleasant trauma surrounding his late wife, Silent Hill puts players into the shoes of single father Harry Mason as he and his adopted daughter set off on holiday to the town, in an attempt to seek some respite after the passing of Harry’s wife. Ok, that might seem a little similar to Silent Hill 2, but hear me out.

On the way to Silent Hill, Harry and Cheryl wind up in a car crash, and when Harry wakes up, his daughter is nowhere to be found. The story then ensues with Harry desperately trying to find his daughter and meeting all manner of terrifying creatures and kooky characters along the way. This still sounds similar to Silent Hill 2, but believe me, there’s a lot more going on here than the likes of Harry Mason’s psyche that I dare not spoil for folk whose first experience of the story will be this remake.

Bloober Team has its work cut out for it remaking yet another Silent Hill game. It’s a lot of pressure to be put on any developer’s shoulders. That said, after just how well Silent Hill 2 was executed and how much well-deserved praise it garnered, I personally have pretty high hopes for anything Silent Hill that has Bloober’s name attached to it. Details about gadgets for various classes, including new and returning items, have surfaced online.

Battlefield 6 is expected to be officially revealed this summer, with a potential release before March 2026 ends.

With the new Battlefield game (which we’ll refer to as Battlefield 6 given it has no official title yet) being playtested privately in Battlefield Labs, it’s expected that we’ll see gameplay of it leak even if there’s an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) signed by the participants.

While we’ve seen gameplay surface mere hours after the first playtest session ended, more info about the upcoming shooter has surfaced thanks to leakers.

The video, uploaded by Chinese players on the social media site Bilibili, shows five minutes of footage featuring various gadgets. We are not uploading the video directly to avoid the wrath of EA’s hound dogs, but some of the things we see are standard items, such as an ammo crate and a medical crate. While we also see something return from Battlefield 2042, such as a barricade/shield, players can get behind to avoid gunfire, the med pistol that lets players heal from a distance and more.

The ever-reliable defribs are also present, which not only revive teammates but should also eliminate enemies with a full charge. Note that given Battlefield Labs is a pre-alpha of Battlefield 6, some of the gadgets showcased might be placeholder items or stuff that will get altered in the final release. There are quite a lot of gadgets from BF2042 that seem to have made their way to the new Battlefield, though they’re the ones that make the most sense (as long as we don’t get the grappling hook).

After the state of Battlefield 2042 at launch, EA and Dice are clear they want to improve the launch experience of the next Battlefield title.

Battlefield 6 has no release date yet, but EA has confirmed we’ll see it before March 2026 ends. The shooter is set to be revealed sometime this summer, and there is still a chance it could be this month since we’re not even at the halfway point of June.

The new Battlefield game is being developed by multiple first-party studios at EA, and is set to launch on consoles and PC. Once the game is revealed officially, we’ll be sure to let our readers know. The wait won’t be long now.
