Sudden Strike 5 Marches Onto The Battlefield | TheXboxHub

Sudden Strike 5 Marches Onto The Battlefield | TheXboxHub

The keyart for Sudden Strike 5
Sudden Strike 5 – hitting the battlefield

War doesn’t wait, and neither does Sudden Strike 5.

Dropping players straight into the chaos of World War II, this latest entry in the long-running strategy series arrives on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, bringing with it huge battlefields, hundreds of units, and the kind of tactical depth that rewards careful planning over reckless charge.

Available now in a £54.99 Deluxe Edition (with early access already underway), and launching in Standard Edition form for £44.99 on April 23rd, Sudden Strike 5 is looking to reassert itself as a heavyweight in the real-time tactics space.

    At A Glance

    Game: Sudden Strike 5

    Developer: Kite Games

    Publisher: Kalypso Media

Platforms: Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC

Price: £54.99 (Deluxe Edition) / £44.99 (Standard Edition from April 23rd)

Game Type: Real-Time Tactics / Strategy

    Back To The Frontlines

Sudden Strike 5 wastes no time reminding players what this series is all about – scale, precision, and decision-making under pressure. Across a 25-mission campaign set in Europe and North Africa, you’ll take command of Allied, German and Soviet forces, navigating iconic battlefields where every movement matters.

There’s a deliberate pace here. Charging headfirst into conflict rarely ends well. Instead, success comes from flanking manoeuvres, controlling supply lines, and making smart use of terrain, whether that’s holding a bridge, cutting off reinforcements, or setting up the perfect artillery strike.

One of the standout aspects of Sudden Strike 5 is its sheer scale. With more than 300 units available – including over 190 vehicles and 110 infantry types – battles feel busy, layered, and often unpredictable.

From Sherman tanks rolling into position to Messerschmitt fighters dominating the skies and T-34s pushing the frontline, there’s an authenticity here that fans of WWII strategy titles will immediately appreciate. Every unit has a role, and learning how they interact is key to turning the tide.

    Strategy With Freedom, Not Restrictions

Rather than locking players into a single approach, Sudden Strike 5 leans into flexibility. Missions can be tackled in multiple ways, whether through stealthy recon, sabotage, defensive positioning or full-on assaults.

Commanders add another layer to this, bringing unique abilities that can subtly (or dramatically) shift how battles play out. It’s a system that encourages experimentation, and more importantly, adaptation when plans inevitably go sideways. And they will.

Deluxe Edition Extras And Early Access

For those jumping in early, the Deluxe Edition offers more than just a head start. Alongside 72 hours of early access, it includes:

Two exclusive PvP map variants – Mercato Square (Night) and Belarus Fields (Winter)

Six camouflage skin packs featuring over 80 vehicle skins

The official game soundtrack, blending orchestral and ambient war themes

    A Series With History

Sudden Strike has been quietly building its reputation for years, and longtime fans will know just how well the formula can work. In fact, when we looked back at Sudden Strike 4 Complete Collection, we called it “the premier Real Time Strategy game available” on Xbox – high praise that sets expectations firmly in place for this sequel.

There’s also been a steady build-up to this release, with earlier announcements and beta talk throughout 2025 hinting at a bigger, more refined experience. Now, it’s finally time to see if Sudden Strike 5 can live up to that promise. Our review is on the way.

Whether you’re coordinating large-scale assaults or carefully picking apart enemy defences, this is a war where brains matter just as much as firepower. And if Kite Games has nailed the balance, Sudden Strike 5 could well be one of the most absorbing tactical experiences of the year.

You’ll find the game on the stores of Xbox (hit those links above), PlayStation and PC. There’s even a PC-centric Xbox Store page worth a visit. Unfortunately, Sudden Strike 5 is not part of Game Pass at launch, and it doesn’t have Xbox Play Anywhere support either.

    Memecoins: Culture, Trade, or Casino?

    Memecoins: Culture, Trade, or Casino?

You’ve seen the screenshots. Someone turns $200 into $80,000 overnight. A coin named after a dog, a frog, or a sitting US president spikes 4,000% in 72 hours. Your group chat loses its mind.

That’s the memecoin cycle, and it’s been running on repeat since Dogecoin turned a joke into a $88 billion market cap in 2021. By 2024, the total memecoin market hit $150 billion. Tens of thousands of new tokens launched every single day.

So what are you actually looking at? A new form of internet culture that happens to carry financial value? A legitimate trading market with extreme volatility? Or a casino dressed up in memes?

The answer depends on where you’re sitting at the table and whether you know what game is being played.

Where the Money Actually Comes From

Before jumping into memecoins, it helps to see how money enters these markets. Many traders first move funds from larger assets into smaller, more speculative ones, using common swap paths like eth to doge on services such as Changelly. That process may look simple, but it’s often the gateway through which retail money reaches memecoins.

Every memecoin needs buyers. Price rises only when new money comes in, which means late entrants usually fund earlier exits.

A small group of early traders and token creators capture most of the gains, while late retail buyers take most of the losses. That isn’t a side effect. It’s how the model works.

Early participants often benefit from bonding curves, where prices rise automatically as demand increases. By the time a token is trending on X or Telegram, insiders are often ready to sell into that attention.

Bots make this even worse. They can buy at launch faster than any human, giving insiders and automated traders another major edge. The real question isn’t whether people lose money — it’s whether they understand the setup before entering it.

    The Culture Part Is Real

Memecoins are easy to dismiss as pure speculation. But that misses something genuine.

When someone buys PEPE or DOGE, they’re not just making an investment. They’re joining a tribe. They’re saying: “I get the joke, I’m part of the culture, and I believe in what we’re building together.” That kind of identity-driven belonging is something traditional finance has never managed to create.

The platforms powering these communities operate at real scale. Telegram has 200 million active users, many of whom participate in crypto communities. The #memecoin hashtag has been used 1.2 million times on X.

The culture also spreads information in ways that traditional media doesn’t. Crypto pioneer Olaf Carlson-Wee points out that every time a news event or viral moment occurs, a coin gets launched and attached to it. He gives the example of someone learning about the death of Pope Francis through a memecoin.

But here’s the problem. The same community energy that makes memecoins feel real is also what makes them effective vehicles for hype. A tight-knit group of believers and a coordinated pump-and-dump look almost identical from the outside. The culture is real. So is the exploitation of it.

    What “Degen” Culture Actually Means

“Degen” is short for degenerate. In memecoin circles, it’s not an insult. It’s a badge.

The entire culture thrives on adrenaline-fueled speculation. Traders chase quick wins fueled by FOMO, hype, and the explosive reach of social media. Get in early, get out before the crash, post the screenshot.

The feedback loop is what makes it sticky. The volatile swings create an addictive cycle: the excitement of rapid gains pulls traders back in, despite the constant risk of losing everything. A 2025 survey of 700 cryptocurrency traders found that 33.7% met the criteria for problematic gambling, and another 33.9% were classified as at-risk.

Not everyone goes in blind. Many degens know exactly what they’re doing and treat it as entertainment with a financial stake. The problem is the market doesn’t distinguish between them and first-timers. Both pay the same price when it drops.

Memecoins vs. Trading vs. Gambling — The Honest Comparison

Three activities. All involve risk and the possibility of loss. But they’re not the same thing, and the differences matter.

    Memecoins
    Traditional trading
    Casino gambling

    What drives price
    Hype, virality, social media
    Fundamentals, earnings, macro
    Fixed mathematical odds

    Role of skill
Minimal. Timing and insider access dominate
    Significant. Analysis improves outcomes
    None. Outcomes are random

    Odds of profit
95% of newly launched memecoins classified as scams or failures in 2025
    Varies. Long-term equities historically positive
House edge: 1–15% against the player

    Transparency
55% of memecoins classified as malicious. Insider wallet concentration common
    Public filings, audited financials, disclosures
    Published odds, licensed operators

    Regulation
Unlike regulated gambling, risks are rarely disclosed. No consumer protections
SEC, FCA, and equivalents enforce rules
    Strictly licensed and audited

    Who controls outcome
    Insiders, early buyers, bots
    Broadly distributed market forces
    The house

One analyst described it plainly: memecoin trading is a zero-sum game where wealth is transferred between participants, not created. The table above shows why the casino column is closer to memecoins than most people expect. And in one key way, memecoins are actually worse: casinos are required to publish their odds.

The Numbers That Don’t Make the Headlines

The success stories travel fast. The failure data doesn’t.

97% of memecoins have already ceased to exist. The average lifespan of a memecoin is one year, one-third the lifespan of an average crypto project. Over 2,000 memecoins disappear every month. In 2025, 60% of new memecoins were active for less than one day.

The scale of failure is accelerating. Over 1.3 million crypto projects failed in 2024 alone. In 2021, that number was just 2,584. 86% of those 2024 collapses were concentrated in the memecoin segment.

The losses are concrete. More than $500 million was lost to memecoin rug pulls and scams in 2024, according to crypto intelligence platform Merkle Science. 75% of those attacks originated on X. The TRUMP and MELANIA tokens alone tell the story in one number: for every dollar insiders earned, ordinary investors lost $20. Retail losses exceeded $4.3 billion from nearly two million wallets.

28% of memecoin investors have reported losses due to scams. That’s not an edge case. That’s close to one in three.

How Rug Pulls and Pump-and-Dumps Actually Work

Two scams dominate the memecoin space. They look different but share the same logic: get out before everyone else does.

A pump-and-dump follows a clear sequence. First comes narrative creation. A compelling story is crafted around the token, complete with a website, whitepaper, and roadmap. All of it is theater. Then the hype machine activates: paid influencers post, Telegram groups are seeded with thousands of members, and the volume of positive signals creates the illusion of genuine community excitement. Retail traders pile in. Insiders sell. Price collapses.

A rug pull is faster. Developers launch a token, collect liquidity, and disappear. On Pump.fun, twelve wallet clusters engineered nearly one-fifth of all token creations while orchestrating 82% of liquidity drains. Most retail traders never realize what happened.

The scale makes it industrial. Of over 7 million tokens deployed on Pump.fun between January 2024 and March 2025, only 97,000 maintained liquidity above $1,000. 98.6% collapsed into worthless pump-and-dump schemes shortly after launch.

One anonymous trader described the process to CryptoSlate as “brain-dead easy,” averaging 400 SOL per week, roughly $60,000 to $65,000, by deploying mass sniping tools that simulate fake demand at launch.

This isn’t a bug. It’s the business model.

The Case for Memecoins, in Their Own Words

The critics have data. So do the defenders.

According to Gemini’s 2025 Global State of Crypto report, 94% of memecoin owners globally also hold other types of crypto. In the United States, 31% of investors who own both categories started with a memecoin first. In France, that figure rises to 67%. Like them or not, memecoins are pulling people into crypto who weren’t there before.

The TRUMP token alone pulled over 760,000 first-time wallets into crypto. That’s not nothing. Those are real people interacting with wallets, transactions, and on-chain activity for the first time.

The onboarding argument has a structural logic behind it. Memecoins are cheap to buy, easy to understand, and culturally familiar. They don’t require reading a whitepaper. A low barrier to entry and cultural resonance are powerful tools for onboarding, and memecoins have proven that.

That said, onboarding through a market where 97% of projects fail and 28% of investors report scam losses is a rough welcome to crypto. Getting someone through the door matters less if the first room they enter takes their money.

    Vampire Crawlers Review | TheSixthAxis

    0
    Vampire Crawlers Review | TheSixthAxis

To say that Vampire Survivors has been influential is a massive understatement – it quite literally spawned an entire genre of bullet heaven/Survivors-likes. There’s an argument to be made for and against that being a good thing, but there’s no denying that the game itself is stellar. The sheer dopamine of it all makes it a perfect game to just hop in and out of, but at its core, you’re doing the same thing and just watching numbers go up. It makes the brain happy. So, can Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors pull off the same kind of trick?

Vampire Crawlers naturally finds itself in a strange place. It has to follow-up an intensely simple game which had such a massive impact, and to be honest, I don’t think it’s nailed it to anywhere near the same degree. I like Vampire Crawlers well enough, but I don’t love it, and I think it’s because the simplicity of Vampire Crawlers is going to be stacked up against the broader genres of deckbuilder roguelites that includes the recently released Slay the Spire 2.

Now, to be fair, this is specifically a dungeon-crawler instead of just a roguelike, so you’re delving into different levels and navigating around them in first-person, picking which fights you want to take on to try and get stronger, and which ones you want to avoid because it’s not worth it. And the deck that you’re playing from features cards taken from Vampire Survivors itself, all with different effects like buffing you, dealing damage, or letting you draw more cards.

The main thing to pay attention to in each battle is your combo. From the hand that you draw from your deck each turn, the aim is to play a zero cost card first, then a one mana card, then a two mana card, and so on. Keeping your combo up can double the effects of your cards, making them substantially more powerful and dispatching enemies more quickly and hopefully before they can even deal damage to you.

Each time you level up on a run, you get a choice of cards to add to your deck, balancing between damage types, buffs and characters, and that naturally affects the likelihood of drawing suitable cards. You can also augment them as you go with gems, which might do something like add a buff, double the damage, or evolve them, a la Vampire Survivors.

You’re not just delving into levels for the sake of it, but to advance and get new levels and unlocks. Just as with Vampire Survivors, you’re practically assaulted with unlocks and achievement as you play, netting dozens of them on your first few successful runs, once again triggering all of those happy hormones. However, that’s sort of it. Vampire Crawlers is a lot of fun, but it’s also a game I don’t feel like is doing much more to go beyond that simple loop. It leads to a game that feels pretty samey after the first few levels and attempts, even as you work through the massive amounts of unlocks and stuff to do. The music does slap, though.

🔴 $292M Kelp DAO Exploit Triggers Aave Bank Run, $9B Leaves DeFi in a Day

Saturday at 17:35 UTC, an attacker sent a single crafted message to Kelp DAO’s LayerZero-powered cross-chain bridge.

The bridge accepted it as legitimate and released 116,500 rsETH – roughly $292 million and 18% of total circulating supply—to a wallet that had been pre-funded through Tornado Cash ten hours earlier. No ETH ever changed hands on the other side. The rsETH was effectively minted from nothing. The attacker deposited it into Aave V3 and V4 as collateral, borrowed real wrapped ETH against it, and walked.

Aave didn’t get hacked. Its contracts are fine. But it’s now carrying roughly $196M in bad debt it didn’t create, because rsETH had been whitelisted as ETH-correlated collateral—a faulty assumption.

In the aftermath, TVL on AAVE dropped 25% from $26.4B to ~$20B in a single day and continues to fall by the day. Broader DeFi TVL fell by $13B. The AAVE token fell 30%.

ETH depositors trying to withdraw found liquidity at zero, so they started borrowing stablecoins against their deposits to exit—a textbook bank run. SparkLend, Fluid, Upshift, and Lido all froze or paused rsETH exposure. rsETH holders on 20+ chains now have tokens of uncertain backing.

Aave’s own statement Sunday said rsETH on Ethereum mainnet is “fully backed” but remains frozen “out of an abundance of caution.” But the damage has been done.

DeFi users are re-evaluating the calculus. Does it make sense to risk exploits for average yield? And now every lending protocol has to reassess security. It will take time to rebuild from this, if it’s even possible.

There have been $600M lost from DeFi via exploits in just the past 3 weeks. And the pace is accelerating…

    Key Details:

Kelp DAO’s LayerZero bridge was exploited Saturday for 116,500 rsETH (~$292M, 18% of supply); attacker minted unbacked rsETH and used it as Aave collateral to borrow real WETH; ~$196M in bad debt left on Aave; AAVE -30%; largest DeFi exploit of 2026
The contagion: Aave froze rsETH and WETH across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Mantle, and Linea; TVL dropped $6.2B in one day; ETH depositors borrowing stablecoins to exit triggered a bank run dynamic; SparkLend, Fluid, Upshift, and Lido all froze rsETH exposure
The structural issue: LRT tokens like rsETH were whitelisted as near-ETH collateral on Aave, Compound, and Euler; this exploit assumes backing was intact at all times; it wasn’t; every DeFi lending protocol now needs to reassess liquid restaking token collateral risk

🌊 BTC Hit $78K; Then Iran Closed Hormuz Again

Friday was the most violent 24 hours in crypto markets since the war started.

Iranian FM Araghchi posted that the Strait of Hormuz was “fully open to all commercial vessels.” Trump followed on Truth Social claiming Iran agreed to an “unlimited” suspension of its nuclear program and said a permanent deal was “mostly complete.”

Bitcoin ran from $74.5K to $78,400 – its first print above $78K since February 4. Oil crashed nearly 10% to ~$82/barrel. The S&P 500 closed at a record 7,121. There were $600M+ in crypto short liquidations. The ETFs posted ~$800M+ in inflows, the biggest in months.

    The vibes were euphoric.

By Saturday morning, tanker owners were receiving Iranian radio transmissions closing the strait. State media said Hormuz had returned to “strict management and control.” BTC pulled back to ~$74K giving back its recent gains, Oil rebounded to $90 and stock futures are red.

And a return to war looks more likely than ever…

📅 Saylor Wants to Pay STRC Dividends Twice a Month

Strategy filed a preliminary proxy Thursday proposing to shift STRC dividend payments from monthly to semi-monthly.

The annual rate stays at 11.5%, and the $1.2B total obligation is unchanged. Holders would just receive smaller checks every two weeks instead of one larger check per month. If approved, the first semi-monthly payment lands July 15.

The reason this matters can be seen in the STRC price action over the past few months. Leading up to the dividend cut off date of the 15th, STRC trades at or above its $100 par with increasing volume until the 14th. Then it goes sub-par for a few weeks as traders no longer need to hold for the dividend. Around the 1st of the month, it hits $100 par again and the cycle repeats.

Well with semi-monthly dividend payments, Saylor could potentially erase that 2-week period where STRC trades sub-par. That would mean more potential capital for him to use to buy Bitcoin – and a safer hold for those holding STRC.

Assuming this goes through, expect Bitcoin to benefit (and maybe even bigly)…

    🚀 A Dying Girl’s Wish Made a Meme Coin Worth $175M

Liv Perrotto was 15 years old when she died of cancer in January. Before she passed, she had designed a plush Shiba Inu named Asteroid that flew aboard SpaceX’s Polaris Dawn mission in 2024 as the zero-gravity indicator. Her dying wish was simple: she wanted Elon Musk to make Asteroid the official SpaceX mascot.

Radio host Glenn Beck posted her story on X Thursday night. Elon replied “Will answer shortly” at 11:50 PM ET. That response alone was enough to send the ASTEROID meme coin to a $30M+ market cap.

But traders anxiously awaited Elon’s response. On April 18 in the afternoon, they got it. Elon answered the girl’s questions for him and replied “OK” to the SpaceX final item, confirming Asteroid as the official SpaceX mascot.

The token immediately sent to $100M+ in market cap within hours, reaching $190M+ overnight. It’s now trading near $155M.

Now the question becomes—will Elon continue leaning in and actually make Asteroid Shiba the SpaceX mascot? Or was this a one off response?

    🌎 Macro Crypto and Markets

What Makes the Most Expensive MK Bag Worth It?

What Makes the Most Expensive MK Bag Worth It

The charm of having the priciest MK bag goes more than just its cost. What really makes these bags worth the spend is the mix of high-quality work, classic style and daily use that Michael Kors always provides.

One of the largest parts is the value of things. Costly MK bags are often made from fine leather, like bumpy, flat or marked styles which not just seem fancy but also give strength. This makes sure the bag keeps its shape and looks good even with daily use.

Another main part is care for detail. From exact sewing to shiny parts and well-made insides, each piece helps to a neat and classy finish. These small points lift the whole look and touch, making the bag stand out without being too showy.

Old shapes also have a big part. Unlike styles that change often, most pricey MK bags show simple shapes like totes, satchels and shoulder bags that stay neat year after year. This makes them useful parts of any closet okay for both easy and fancy events.

Function is just as key. These bags are made to fit today’s way of life, giving lots of room, neat pockets and easy ways to carry them.

In the end, a pricey MK bag is good value since it gives a mix of style, strength and usefulness- this makes it a trusty and chic buy for daily wear.

Are Expensive MK Bags a Good Investment?

Are Expensive MK Bags a Good Investment

Spending money on a pricey MK bag relies on how you see “investment.” From a money point of view, Michael Kors bags usually don’t have good resale or rise in worth compared to very fancy brands. Because of things like being easy to find and often going on sale, many MK bags often drop in value over time and usually sell for a smaller part of their starting price.

But, that doesn’t say they are not worth the buy. When looked at from a co͏st-per-wear and use view, pricey MK bags can give great value. They are famous for their strength, useful shapes and flexible style making them good for daily wear. A smartly picked bag can quickly turn into a main item that you use over years justifying the first cost.

Also, some styles mainly from the fancy “Collection” line or special releases usually keep value more than regular designs. Timeless shapes and plain colors also do better in the buy-back market.

At its core, the priciest MK bag is a decent buy if your focus is on looks, use and lasting wear instead of money back. If you pick a classic style and take care of it right, the worth you get from daily use and flexibility can far exceed the selling point making it a wise and pleasing fancy buy.

How to Choose the Right Expensive MK Bag

How to Choose the Right Expensive MK Bag

Picking the best priciest MK bag needs a mix of look, use and lasting worth. Begin by figuring out your main goal— if you want a firm bag for a job, a big tote for trips or a slim shoulder bag for nights. This makes it easier to find the shape that suits your way of life.

Next look at size and space. A costly bag should not just seem fancy but also meet your daily needs nicely. Check that it holds must-haves like your phone, purse and other things without being heavy. Material is another big thing. Choose good leather, like pebble or soft types that give you strength and a high-class touch. Neutral colors like black, brown or cream are great if you want to mix and match; while cool textures or bright shades can lift special looks.

Look at the stuff and details too. Small, shiny bits can often make the bag more classy. Last, pick a design that lasts instead of one that is in style now. A classic shape makes sure your best MK bag stays trendy and important for many years, this makes it a ͏good buy for your luxury group.

One more why buying the priciest MK bag seems good is the feeling of higher trust and fashion it gives to your whole appearance. A nice fancy bag can quickly make even the plainest outfit look better, making daily wear feel more special and planned. These top MK bags are made to be useful, letting them easily match both dressy and casual looks without seeming odd. Also, the brand’s aim on new but classic looks makes sure that these bags do not fade in style fast. Rather than sticking to quick fads, they keep a smart charm that fits all times and events. This makes them great for people who like to build a chosen closet with items that stay.

Aside from looks, there is also a useful benefit. The careful design parts like organized sections, safe fasteners and easy straps make daily use better. This means you’re not only putting money into a style sign but in a handy item that helps with your daily tasks. All together the costliest MK bag gives a great mix of grace, trustworthiness and lasting worth making it a clever and chic part of any collection.

    Conclusion

Putting money into the priciest MK bag is not only about having a fancy item— it’s about picking something that mixes style, quality and daily use. Michael Kors has made a place where fine work joins easy luxury, lett͏ing fashion lovers enjoy top designs without going into very high price levels.

Every bag in this list shows a special mix of old design and new charm. Whether it is the neat look of a satchel, the use for many things with a tote or the stylish feel of a shoulder bag, these kinds are made to match lots of events and personal styles. What really makes them different is their knack to stay in style time after time making them more than just an in-the-moment buy.

When you put money into the costliest MK bag, you’re also putting money into strength and lasting worth. With right care and careful style, these bags can turn into key items in your closet, smoothly boosting both casual and formal outfits. They give the ideal mix of luxury and use, making them great for today’s way of life.

In the end, a good MK bag is one that matches your style and daily wants while giving a sense of simple beauty. If picked well it becomes more than just an item, it becomes a special piece that adds to your whole look for years ahead.

Hong Kong SFC Launches Pilot Framework For Secondary Trading Of Tokenised Investment Products On Licensed Platforms

Hong Kong SFC Launches Pilot Framework For Secondary Trading Of Tokenised Investment Products On Licensed Platforms

    In Brief

Hong Kong’s SFC launches a pilot framework for secondary trading of tokenised investment products on licensed platforms, expanding retail access, enabling 24/7 trading models, and integrating blockchain settlement into regulated markets.

Hong Kong SFC Launches Pilot Framework For Secondary Trading Of Tokenised Investment Products On Licensed Platforms

Regulatory body responsible for overseeing Hong Kong’s securities and futures markets, Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), introduced a new regulatory framework designed to pilot secondary market trading of tokenised investment products authorised by the SFC, as part of broader efforts to support the development of Hong Kong’s digital asset ecosystem and increase trading activity over time.

According to the regulatory circular, the framework is primarily intended to enable secondary trading of tokenised SFC-authorised open-ended funds on SFC-licensed virtual asset trading platforms VATPs. The initiative is also aimed at widening access to regulated trading infrastructure for retail investors, while allowing, on a discretionary basis, the possibility of over-the-counter secondary trading arrangements subject to individual assessment.

Since the introduction of the SFC’s initial tokenisation regulatory approach in late 2023, market participants have increasingly explored the issuance and distribution of tokenised financial products in Hong Kong, creating new market activity and product structures. As of March 2026, there were 13 tokenised products available to the public in the jurisdiction, with assets under management in tokenised share classes rising approximately sevenfold to 10.7 billion US dollars over the preceding year.

In response to this growth, the regulator has indicated that the timing is appropriate to introduce a pilot framework for continuous secondary trading, including potential 24-hour trading models. The framework is intended to further integrate tokenised financial instruments into the broader Web3 ecosystem, with potential use cases involving regulated stablecoins and tokenised deposits to support continuous settlement and liquidity.

In order to address structural considerations associated with liquidity and investor protection, particularly in relation to trading outside conventional market hours, the framework incorporates measures informed by practices in exchange-traded fund markets and licensed virtual asset trading infrastructure. These measures are intended to support fair pricing mechanisms, orderly market conditions, liquidity provisioning standards, and enhanced disclosure requirements.

Advancing Market Integration And Phased Implementation Of Tokenised Products

According to the SFC, the initiative represents a step toward the development of a more integrated digital asset market structure in Hong Kong, combining traditional financial products with blockchain-based settlement and trading capabilities. The framework is also positioned as a response to increasing demand for continuous market access in a trading environment characterised by fast information flow and heightened volatility.

The initial phase of the pilot is expected to focus on tokenised money market funds, with the potential for expansion to additional product categories following an assessment of operational performance and market conditions.

Market participants, including product issuers and SFC-licensed virtual asset trading platforms, are encouraged to engage with the regulator in advance of implementing activities under the new framework or to provide relevant notifications as required.

Exactly how next I’m A Celebrity South Africa star will be voted off and who’s immune from elimination tonight revealed

I’m A Celebrity South Africa 2026 is set to deliver another dramatic twist tonight (April 20) – as hosts Ant and Dec return to camp with news that another star will be heading home.

But in a major shake-up, this time it won’t be down to one person making the call…

Another elimination is on the way (Credit: ITV)

I’m A Celebrity South Africa 2026: Shock new elimination twist

Following last week’s exit of Seann Walsh – who was sent packing by Harry Redknapp after the Lions lost their challenge – the pressure is now back on camp.

However, tonight’s I’m A Celebrity South Africa elimination comes with a twist. Instead of one person deciding, the entire camp will be forced to choose who goes home next.

In a teaser clip, Ant and Dec remind the celebrities that the public will crown the ultimate winner in a live final later this week. But before that, they drop a bombshell: the campmates themselves must now decide who leaves.

The announcement leaves the group visibly stunned.

Ashley Roberts holds all the power

After winning the latest trial, Ashley Roberts is safe from elimination – and handed a huge advantage.

She’s told she must pick one campmate to save. That person will then choose another, and so on, creating a chain of safety.

Whoever is left standing at the end will be eliminated immediately.

It’s a brutal twist that’s guaranteed to test loyalties and friendships in camp.

I’m A Celebrity South Africa fans already calling for one name

Ahead of the episode airing, viewers have made it very clear who they want to see sent home – David Haye.

The boxer has faced heavy backlash in recent days, particularly following his treatment of Adam Thomas. Although he has since apologised, fans are still keen to see him leave.

“DAVID DAVID DAVID!” one viewer posted online. “Pick David please!” said another. “For the love of God choose David,” a third added.

Others warned they’d be shocked if anyone else was picked, with one saying: “If they choose anyone else I’ll be appalled.”

With tensions already running high in camp, tonight’s decision could prove hugely divisive.
