The next Fortnite season has brought tons of new content for players to enjoy. The island now has several Star Wars-themed locations, there is the Death Star in the sky, along with Star Destroyers, and the Lightsabers have returned.

The Item Shop has received many new cosmetics, and more of them will come over the next few weeks. On top of this, Epic Games will implement another change in the shop, according to the latest leak. This upcoming update will allow players to see the best-selling cosmetics in the shop, which sounds like a great idea.

The Fortnite Item Shop will receive a bestseller update soon

According to Krowe_moh and Hypex, two reputable leakers, Epic is working on a best-sellers tab in the Item Shop. This tab will show the 10 most popular items in the shop, although it’s unclear how often it will refresh. Hypex believes that it will refresh every few minutes or hours, but Epic hasn’t revealed more information about it.

This tab will make the most popular items much easier to find. Furthermore, for the first time ever, Fortnite players will get to see what items from the shop are selling the most. The tab will likely be filled with collaboration items, as well as the items that return after a long time. Interestingly, another leak claims that several rare skins will return soon, and there is no doubt that they will be very popular.

Considering how many changes the Fortnite shop has gone through, it’s no surprise that Epic is working on more of them. However, we currently don’t know when the new shop update will go live. The current season is set to end in early June, so there’s a good chance that Epic will release the update over the next five weeks.

Football Heroes League has been revealed and released on PC | TheSixthAxis

Football Heroes League has been revealed and released on PC | TheSixthAxis

During Future Games Show LATAM, Run Games announced and shadow dropped a new free to play multiplayer football game called Football Heroes League. It seems to be inspired by Rocket League but with actual football instead of cars. We have essentially come full circle and can dub this Rocket League with people.

In Football Heroes League, you can compete in 2v2, 3v3, or 5v5 matches to score the most goals and win. There is also a training mode to get to grips with the controls, and an instant replay system will be added soon. Players can currently choose from a roster of five heroes, with more to be added during the game’s early access phase. The five heroes available at the moment are Kenzo, Beckers, Leo, Frostine, and Bun-E, and each of them has a special ability. Kenzo has jet boots to give him super speed, Beckers has mag boots to control the ball direction so she can in theory bend it like Beckham, Leo has the strength to get passed opponents, Frostine is able to freeze opponents, and Bun-E commands BunBots that can be used to assist in defence and attack. I bet VAR wouldn’t be able to cope with all of these shenanigans.

If you do want to give Football Heroes League a go, you can download it for free now on PC at the following links:

Pac-Man meets a time-stopping survivor-like bullet heaven in Maze Mice out in Early Access

Pac-Man meets a time-stopping survivor-like bullet heaven in Maze Mice out in Early Access

Maze Mice is the latest game from the developer of the popular Luck be a Landlord, and while many developers continue making their own form of Vampire Survivor-like, this is probably the most unique so far that truly mixes things up as it feels a lot more like Pac-Man. Note: key provided for me.

Not just a survivor-like meets Pac-Man but it also ends up a little like a reverse-Snake, as all the enemies start lining up in a big long line as they chase after you. The key here is to plan ahead, and pick what direction you’re going to be running in to grab some XP orbs to unlock and upgrade more skills that auto-fire while you’re moving.

Thankfully, it is not a race against time (well, not exactly) since it has a time-stopping mechanic where nothing happens unless you move.

I love the idea of it. I really do. Initially, I wasn’t entirely sure if it had enough to hook me in for long. The game mechanics the developer has taken and put in a blender here are certainly a very weird and interesting combo, but I thought the time-stopping mechanic was actually working against it.

After you play more though, and survive for longer, you begin to understand why the time-stop mechanic is actually great. Even with you able to just stop everything, there’s still a surprising urgency to it, especially when you’ve repeatedly managed to back yourself into a corner and you’re on your last little bit of HP.

Still, I would really like to see more dynamic elements and events on the map to just spice things up a bit more, and help it have some more staying power for the long run. As I’ve progressed through, I’ve enjoyed unlocking more abilities to have another run through and see what weird combinations I can make. And I look forward to unlocking even more.

It’s out now in Early Access, so it has only just begun life with the developer hoping to add in more upgrades, characters and stages.

“Seeing the love for Luck be a Landlord has really motivated me while working on my second commercial title, Maze Mice,” said Dan DiIorio, lead developer and founder of TrampolineTales. “I can’t wait to watch everyone skitter through mazes, achieve high scores, and unlock cheesy upgrades!”

Maze Mice | Release Date: 2nd May 2025

Attack On Titan: 10 Most Interesting Side Characters, Ranked

Attack On Titan: 10 Most Interesting Side Characters, Ranked

Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan is filled with a roster of characters that play a giant role in the trajectory of the whole series.

Focusing on the side characters, there are several individuals whose limited screen presence had a lasting impression on all of us.

These characters possessed a charm that compelled you to learn more about their motives, backstory, and lore, masterfully weaving them into the overall storyline.

Attack On Titan Final Season: 12 Best Plot Twists

Attack On Titan is full of mind-boggling twists, and here are some of the best ones we’ve seen in the Final Season.

Their complex, impulsive, or morally conflicting decisions bring a nuanced depth to the series even if they don’t get the spotlight. So, here are the most interesting side characters in AoT without whom the series wouldn’t have had such a monumental rumbling.

We recommend watching the anime or reading the manga in advance to avoid the significant spoilers of Attack on Titan’s most interesting characters in the following list.

10

Lara Tybur

Why Did You Have To Ask Him?

lara tybur war hammer titan form fighting

Lara Tybur is undoubtedly the most underexplored character among the upcoming entries, making her an ideal starting point for the list. She was a member of the Tybur family, who were Eldians that held an influential position in Marley.

Her inherited War Hammer Titan powers were a secret from Marley’s government and civilians to protect her family’s position. This secret helped create misdirection for Eren Jaeger, who infiltrated Marley under the alias of Eren Kruger but couldn’t figure out the identity of War Hammer Titan and devoured Willy instead.

Unfortunately, she lost her plot armor when Eren Jaeger punched her during her transformation as a Titan, and consumed her Titan powers. Ironically, her last words were calling Eren an usurpur and asking if he had any last words.

That said, her quiet demeanor and emotional composure during the entire fight made her short presence more interesting.

9

Frieda Reiss

Suffering With Power!

freida reiss inside reiss chapel in attack on titan

Freida Reiss leaned on peace, love, and harmony as portrayed by all the moments she shared with Historia, her half-sister. Sadly, her personality drastically changed after receiving the Founding Titan as she became much more susceptible to the First King’s will and opinions, contradicting her former self.

When Grisha Jaeger confronted her in the chapel and begged her to save her family from the invasion of the Titans, she refused with a cold demeanor and a monologue. As she stood tall with her family, they urged her to kill him when Grisha was vulnerable. Ultimately, this led to one of the most pivotal scenes in the series, resulting in her death alongside most of the Reiss family.

However, before declining Grisha’s help, she paused, her face filled with distress. Given her personality, that made me infer that without the power of the Founding Titan, she might have stopped the invasion.

8

Niccolo

Loss, Grief, And Healing

niccolo getting shy after getting complimented in aot

From seeing him red-faced after being complimented by Sasha on his food to seeing him support and mourn Sasha’s family, Niccolo has undergone a turbulent character development.

As a proud Marleyan who hated Eldian devils for their heritage, Sasha changed his outlook on life, people, and the world around him. It is a bummer that we didn’t have more screen time for them together.

When he found out Gabi Braun was responsible for her brutal death, he couldn’t control his rage and wanted to kill Gabi, asking Sasha’s father to kill her, or he would do it himself. But after he heard Mr. Braus’s monologue with the utmost willingness to forgive Gabi, he gave up his raging frenzy and was inspired to become a better person, helping others.

This was evident when he later comforted both, self-loathing Gabi and Kaya by saying that everyone has a devil within them.

7

Hitch Dreyse

Less Stress, More Chill

hitch dreyse blowing a kiss in aot

In a world infested with Titans, Hitch Dreyse played her part by working as a private in the Military Police Regiment. Although she joined the regiment out of laziness, she had it tough due to her superiors dumping most of the work.

Contrary to other self-righteous characters, Hitch’s sarcasm and laid-back personality brings a relatable layer to an otherwise gritty story of AoT. One of her character traits I found amazing was that she always had more genuine empathy and concern than she let on.

Be it her duties as a senior Military Police officer or taking care of Annie, her subtle character growth while keeping her personality traits was quite heartwarming. Her brief screen time proved you neither need to be a hero nor a villain to get through and play your part.

6

Floch Forster

Driven By Survivor’s Guilt?

floch forster chaotic smile in aot

Surviving the suicide charge led by Commander Erwin, Floch was a heavily traumatized side character who went through great lengths as a devout Jeagerist. This made Floch grow from a coward to a violent and harsh individual that only cared for Eldia, his homeland.

He was certainly a brave soldier. After all, he was the only survivor who listened to Erwin’s last speech and knew Eren’s plans before the rest.

Related

Attack On Titan: 20 Best Episodes, Ranked

Even seasoned fans will want to give these episodes a rewatch.

However, Floch had no idea about the intentions of the men he was greatly influenced by, making him persistently ignorant and simply blinded by their ideals. It even made him go on a power trip and unnecessarily kill innocents. Nevertheless, at his heart, I think he was always scared of things not going his way.

This was evident when he had a frightened look when Mikasa was missing, and during his final moments, when he asked Hange and Jean not to go after Eren, as he was their last hope.

5

Dhalis Zachary

Twisted And Sociopath

dhalis zachary close up screenshot

There is no character as disturbingly psychopathic as Dhalis Zachary. His sadist tendencies cannot be justified, even if they stemmed from his resentment towards the monarchy and nobles. While he was a premier overseeing all three military regiments, he had little to no interest in saving humanity.

From his point of view, it was a payback for a lifetime of being looked down on for not having royal blood. All he cared for was his torture machine, which he believed was the greatest work of art ever conceived.

The only reason he helped Erwin’s coup against the monarchy was simply because of his personal spite. In the end, his antics make him no lesser evil than his enemies or other morally complex characters in Attack on Titan.

4

Kaya

Sasha Fan-Girl

kaya clenching her teeth in pain and anger

There is no doubt that Kaya has had one of the saddest backstories in AoT for her traumatic past.

She was rescued by Sasha Braus as she was unable to move after seeing her mother get devoured by a Pure Titan. Kaya had idolized Sasha ever since, wanting to help people.

With an emotionally closed-off and quiet personality, it was amazing to see her character grow over a short duration. This was beautifully portrayed during her conversations with Gabi and Falco as they discussed past history at the farm.

I almost broke down when she said her mother had nothing to do with the crimes Eldian committed centuries ago. But what was even more enticing to see her character flip when Kaya learned it was Gabi who killed Sasha, expressing a painful and rageful reaction to her grief.

3

Kenny Ackerman

Certified Free Bird!

kenny ackerman inside reiss chapel in aot

Kenny Ackerman was infamously known as Kenny the Ripper for murdering over 100 Military Police officers in the past.

Kenny had no loyalty or sense of attachment to anyone except Uri Reiss, sharing a genuine lifelong friendship. Learning more about the Titans and their power, he secretly had a desire to gain the god-like power by serving Rod Reiss. However, when he learned he couldn’t access those powers, he was angry and turned against him.

Attack On Titan: 15 Strongest Non-Shifters, Ranked

Attack on Titan has several strong Titan-shifters, but here we explore the mightiest non-shifters, like Levi, Dot Pixis, and Mikasa.

As a maternal uncle to Levi Ackerman, he raised him as a child until he was capable, yet until his last breath, he never told Levi the truth.

I admire that Kenny was more self-aware than most of the characters, saying everyone had to be drunk on something. And it made perfect sense that Hajime Isayama partially based him off Trevor from Grand Theft Auto 5 as he matched his chaotic energy.

2

Hange Zoë

Sole Titan Research Team

hange zoe smiling in aot

As a free-thinking individual and person of science, Hange Zoë stands a step ahead of several other characters in AoT. Given how little the Survey Corps knew about the Titans, her passion for researching was essential to saving humanity.

Hange was kind-hearted and selfless, and her goofiness helped ease out the bleak, depressing scenes in the series. But it was sad to witness her expressing this side less frequently when the threat to humanity became severe.

Despite not having a background history, she remains one of the most fascinating characters for her quick-wittiness and vibrant personality.

1

Eren Kruger

Owl And A G.O.A.T!

Eren Kruger was unarguably the most crucial side character that shook the trajectory of the series. If it wasn’t for him, neither Grisha nor Eren Jaeger would have received the powers of Attack Titan. What blew my mind was when he mentioned Armin and Mikasa, he was as clueless as Grisha. But still, he went on to ask Grisha to start a family within the walls.

When accessing his father’s memories, Eren Jaeger sat there talking with Grisha, showcasing how intricately everything was connected. Further, I couldn’t help but appreciate his striking parallels with his successor, Eren Jaeger, from their burning rage against the world to remorse for killing innocents.

GTA 6 Delayed Until 2026

GTA 6 Delayed Until 2026

In a move bound to piss off every publisher that shifted their games into 2026 to avoid Grand Theft Auto, Rockstar has announced that its upcoming behemoth GTA 6 has been delayed until 2026.

The new release date is May 26, 2026.

“We are very sorry that this is later than you expected. The interest and excitement surrounding a new Grand Theft Auto has been truly humbling for our entire team. We want to thank you for your support and your patience as we work to finish the game,” said the announcement on Rockstar’s website.

“With every game we have released, the goal has always been to try and exceed your expectations, and Grand Theft Auto VI is no exception. We hope you understand that we need this extra time to deliver at the level of quality you expect and deserve.”

It seems like this delay might have been know about internally for quite a while. Noted nosy person and gaming journalist Jason Schreier of Bloomberg posted on BlueSky that, “Nobody I’ve talked to at Rockstar has believed Fall 2025 was a real window for a very long time now.”

Nobody I’ve talked to at Rockstar has believed Fall 2025 was a real window for a very long time now. Too much work, not enough time, and what appears to be a real desire from management to avoid brutal crunch. GTA VI slipping to 2026 has seemed inevitable for months if not longer

— Jason Schreier (@jasonschreier.bsky.social) 2 May 2025 at 12:40

https://embed.bsky.app/static/embed.js

According to Jason, there is just “Too much work, not enough time,” but that Rockstar’s credit there appears to be a “real desire from management to avoid brutal crunch.”

He goes on to say that the release date slipping has seemed inevitable for “months, if not longer”.

I can only image that there are now heaps of publishers and developers crying into their keyboards after already delaying their own games into 2026 in an effort to avoid releasing anywhere near GTA 6.

Oh Great, Now Microsoft Is Raising The Price Of The Xbox, Its Games And Accessories

Oh Great, Now Microsoft Is Raising The Price Of The Xbox, Its Games And Accessories

Just a few weeks ago, PlayStation announced that it was raising the price of the PS5 yet again. Perhaps that was an ill omen because now Microsoft is treading that same path, revealing that the Xbox is going to get a price hike, along with some of its games and accessories. Check out the charts I’ve whipped up below to see the new prices.

The new prices will go into effect…well, now, actually. On top of that, Microsoft also stated that this summer the price of “some” of its first-party titles will go up to $80. This is in line with Nintendo, which recently said that Mario Kart World will retail for $80.

Xbox controllers are also going up in price.

“As of May 1, we have adjusted recommended retailer pricing for our consoles and controllers worldwide,” said the official Xbox website. “We also expect to adjust the pricing of some of our new, first-party games starting this holiday season to $79.99. Those titles purchased on the Xbox Store have the benefit of Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing players to buy once and play on console and PC at no additional cost.”

Ubisoft Says Prince Of Persia Is “Just Warming Up” As Lost Crown Surpasses 2 Million Players

Ubisoft Says Prince Of Persia Is “Just Warming Up” As Lost Crown Surpasses 2 Million Players

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has surpassed 2 million players, Ubisoft said in a brief announcement. The news comes roughly 15 months after The Lost Crown’s release in January 2024, and Ubisoft appears to be teasing a bright future for the series.

“Well over 2M players by now,” Ubisoft said on the Prince of Persia’s official X account.” You’ve revived the legend. The Prince is back, and believe us–he’s just warming up.”

What Ubisoft has in store for The Prince of Persia is anyone’s guess, though. The company disbanded The Lost Crown’s development team in October 2024 on account of lower-than-forecasted sales, though those who worked on the game were shuffled around to different parts of Ubisoft and not laid off. It’s worth noting that 2 million players isn’t the same as 2 million sales. The Lost Crown was available on Ubisoft+, Ubisoft’s subscription service, and has also been part of the PS Plus Extra and Premium.

The Lost Crown released to widespread praise from critics, including GameSpot’s Steve Watts, who called it “so confident and impeccably crafted that this should simply be the identity of Prince of Persia for the foreseeable future.” Ubisoft reportedly rejected Ideas for a Lost Crown sequel prior to breaking up the development team, though the company never confirmed whether that was true.

Meanwhile, The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake remains in development, apparently on track for release sometime in 2026. Ubisoft first announced the project in 2020, though it was delayed several times, including an “indefinite delay” in 2021, and restarted development completely in 2023. It re-entered full production in June 2024, though Ubisoft has said nothing about the project since.

How Blizzard went about bringing its ‘Berserk x Diablo’ collaboration to life

How Blizzard went about bringing its ‘Berserk x Diablo’ collaboration to life

Last week, Blizzard Entertainment announced the full details behind its upcoming limited-time crossover event between Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal and Berserk, the long-running dark fantasy manga created by the late Kentaro Miura. Beginning on May 1 for Diablo Immortal and May 6 for Diablo 4, players will be able to collect cosmetics themed after characters and weapons inspired by the manga, which first began publication in 1989.

On Monday, Polygon attended a roundtable interview with Viviane Kosty and Emil Salim, the lead artists for Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal, respectively, to discuss the process of adapting Miura’s iconic universe to the setting of Diablo, how they went about choosing which characters and monsters to highlight from the manga, and how Miura’s original artwork inspired them not only while working on the in-game crossover, but as artists themselves.

Image: Blizzard Entertainment

“We really saw that it was a natural fit right from the very beginning,” Salim said. “It fits with Diablo on a story level; the story of Berserk is really, really dark. It’s a dark fantasy, it’s full of violence, endless war, desperation, so it’s perfect for us. And then on the visual side, too, it’s also a perfect fit. The works of Kentaro Miura through Berserk have already been a huge influence for a lot of dark fantasy artists for many, many years. And so for us, in the Diablo Immortal team, when we first got the confirmation that it was going to be Berserk, we were super excited. We already had so many ideas of, like, Oh, we can do this and we can do this. So yeah, the whole process just felt really easy because both brands just kind of complemented each other so well.”

“I would say, challenge-wise, compared to previous collaborations within Blizzard IPs, I would say the past ones have been a learning experience for us where it allowed us to make better decisions this time around to make sure that we can honor both IPs at the same time,” Kosty said. “We really wanted to highlight and also pay tribute to Berserk as well as stay true to our gameplay as well.”

When asked how the team went about choosing from the manga’s colossal cast of characters for the crossover, Salim and Kosty were ecstatic to explain in more detail. “I was geeking out with Vivian and thinking back about our process really early on; we compared it to a buffet,” Salim told Polygon. “It was like a buffet of characters and story points and weapons and everything we could possibly think of, so obviously we cannot do everything. So for the modal side, we decided to focus in on the Golden Age arc, which is the very first one that triggered Guts, the main character’s entire journey for the rest of the manga series. It [gave] us a lot of materials to play with, including the eclipse, which is sort of like the climax of the Golden Age arc. So for example, in Diablo Immortal, we were able to use the eclipse as the central theme for our Struggler’s Bane event. There’s also so many more, like even the very first battle against Nosferatu Zodd. That was so, so significant for the manga. Being able to recreate that original battle for the boss fight in the collab was very significant for us.”

When asked about their thoughts on Kentaro Miura’s legacy and the influence of his artwork on their own, both Salim and Kosty were equally passionate and enthusiastic in their appraisal of Miura’s talents as an illustrator and storyteller. “I feel like the way he depicted motion and action and emotion, and I think those were what just hit me the hardest, because I really can feel the frustration in Guts,” Kosty said. “Or when he’s swinging his sword and cutting things, you can really feel how swift it is, how clean-cut his swordplay is. I think that’s what hits me the most as an artist, it’s that I can kind of feel his [brushstrokes] and it makes me geek out a lot.” She particularly complimented Miura on his stroke markings, which she and the rest of the Diablo 4 art team tried to emphasize in the character models, particularly in the cape textures of the Skull Knight and Griffith armor skins.

“For me, the work of Kentaro Miura has influenced me since I was very, very young,” Salim says. “I can go way back: That’s how I learned how to draw a human face. That’s how I learned about weapon design, armor design, before I even knew that there was such a thing as weapon design or armor design, or that people actually get paid to do these things, which is insane. It’s how I learned how to draw horses, and I know it sounds ridiculous, but if you are a huge, huge fan of Berserk, you can almost see how his works in a way got even better throughout the years. Going from the Golden Age arc and how he renders people to the Millennium Falcon arc, he matured so much. Also, how he does motion, that’s another thing that as a very young artist, that’s how I learned how to apply ink work and how to apply pen work to convey motion, and also how he can almost choreograph his battles through a still image on a manga page, which is insane. That’s something that’s really difficult to convey. There is no animation; it’s a book, it’s manga. So yeah, it’s really, really well done.”
