TikTok Creator Flies To Europe To Yell And Harass GTA 6 Devs

A TikTok content creator allegedly flew all the way from the United States to Edinburgh, Scotland to stand outside the offices of Grand Theft Auto 6 developers Rockstar North and yell at people entering and exiting the studio. According to the creator, he is “sick and tired” of waiting for a new trailer or information on any further delays.

On September 30, as spotted by TheGamer, TikTok user Backonboulevard shared a video on the social media service that appeared to show him staking out the Rockstar North office in Scotland and then yelling at two different people that he seemingly assumed were developers working on GTA 6 after spotting them entering and exiting the building. The video has over 140,000 views and is currently pinned on the TikTok user’s channel.

In the first incident, a person can be seen walking toward the office when Backonboulevard yells at them: “When’s the delay? When’s the next trailer? I wanna know!” The person shrugs, starts walking away quickly, and replies, “I don’t know.”

In another incident shown in the video, Backonboulevard seemingly follows a person after they have presumably left the office and shouts at them, asking: “When’s the delay happening? Is there another delay? What about the trailer? Another trailer? You can’t tell me? You can’t tell me? You can’t tell me nothing?” That person looks visibly scared and understandably nervous about a random dude aggressively confronting them in the dark, and quickly flees the scene as the TikTok creator follows before the video cuts.

Kotaku has contacted the TikTok user about the video and reached out to Rockstar Games.

“I’m sick and tired of waiting for the answers,” explained Backonboulevard in the video. At another point, he showed the outside of Rockstar North’s offices to prove he was there. “Right now we are here, right here, live from Rockstar North. I told you guys I wasn’t playing around.”

On Tuesday, the video was flagged by GTA content creator GameRoll on Twitter. “If you’re waiting outside of somebody’s workplace to harass employees over a video game, give your head a wobble,” said GameRoll.

While many in the comments below GameRoll’s post shared disbelief and anger over what Backonboulevard seemingly did, there are many, many comments below the original video on TikTok that take the creator’s side and blame Rockstar’s lack of information and new trailers for the harassment. And to be clear: That’s fucking stupid and you should never, ever, ever sit outside a video game studio and harass the people inside and demand answers from them. That will never work out, it might get you in trouble legally, and it’s just a dick move.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to launch in May 2026 after being delayed earlier this year. It will launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Don’t yell at the devs about it, okay?

Belle, Book, and Candle Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Belle, Book, and Candle Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Belle, Book, and Candle is the new Realm quest for Lumiere in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It was added with the latest Return to Beast’s Castle update. In this guide, we will walk you through the Belle, Book, and Candle quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Complete Belle, Book, and Candle Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Starting the Quest

Belle, Book, and Candle quest starts automatically upon completing the A Growing Mystery quest for Cogsworth. As players fix the castle’s rose garden and place rainbow roses in the main hall, the Belle, Book, and Candle quest will begin. Lumiere will ask players to search the castle for more manual pages and the book.

Place the Items Back at Their Locations

After speaking with Lumiere, he will give you three different items to place back at their locations in the castle. The first item is the Standing Candelabra, which you need to place in the hallway before the staircase. Now, continue ahead to Beast’s room, and place the Lion Statue outside the room. Lastly, go to the Library and place the Globe.

Once done, pick up the Domestic Manual Page 3 and Second Enigmatic Key from the floor. Now, go back to Lumiere and tell him about your findings.

Search for the Old Book

To find the Domestic Manual Book, you need to search the Beast’s Room in the Castle. Go to the Beast’s room and look for a sparkling spot. Interact with it to pick up the Old Book. Unfortunately, the book will be damaged. Go back to Lumiere and show him the book.

Meet with the Beast in his Home in the Valley

Leave the Beauty and the Beast Realm and go to the Beast’s Home in the Valley. Speak with the Beast and Belle to tell him about the damaged manual book. Belle will hand you the Glue, which you can use to fix the book.

Repair the Domestic Manual Book

After speaking with the Beast and Belle in the Valley, go to any crafting station. Interact with the crafting station and navigate to the Functional Items tab to find the recipe for “Repaired Domestic Manual”. Craft the Repaired Domestic Manual using the Superglue, the Old Book, and the manual pages.

Put the Repaired Domestic Manual on the Display

Now, go back to the Beauty and the Beast Realm and show the Domestic Manual to Lumiere. After the dialogues, interact with the display in the hall and place the Manual on it. As you place the manual on the display, the Third Enigmatic Key will appear on the floor. Pick up the key and speak with Lumiere about it.

As you speak with Lumiere, a bag and the invitation will appear on the floor. Pick them up and speak with Lumiere again. Go through the dialogues with Lumiere and the Belle, Book, and Candle quest will conclude. Moreover, the “A Guide to Better Castle-Keeping” quest for Cogsworth will initiate automatically.

Thrustmaster’s New ESWAP X2 H.E Controller for Xbox Targets Stick Drift with Hall Effect Tech | TheXboxHub

Thrustmaster eSwap X2 HE
Thrustmaster eSwap X2 HE

The next evolution in modular controller design has officially arrived, and it’s targeting the number one enemy of every serious gamer: stick drift.

Thrustmaster has today launched the ESWAP X2 H.E, the first model in its acclaimed ESWAP range to feature the brand’s cutting-edge H.E.A.R.T. (HallEffect AccuRate Technology).

This new controller is available for purchase from today, October 1st, for £139.99.

The groundbreaking new controller promises to deliver unrivalled accuracy and long-term durability by using magnetic sensors to completely eliminate the risk of stick drift, all while retaining the deep customisation that has made the ESWAP series a benchmark for performance-driven gamers.

An E-Swap Worth Making?

We’ve been big fans of Thrustmaster’s recent offerings, and the ESWAP range has consistently delivered quality. When we reviewed the Thrustmaster eSwap X2 Pro Controller, we praised its “absolutely stellar” elements, particularly its best-in-class D-Pad.

However, we also questioned whether it was a big enough leap to warrant an upgrade from the previous model.

With the new ESWAP X2 H.E, that debate is over. Maybe. By integrating Hall Effect technology, Thrustmaster is making a fundamental and significant upgrade to the controller’s core components, offering a compelling reason for all serious gamers to consider making the swap. It’s very much like what Thrustmaster put together in their H.E.A.R.T controller, previously.

At the HEART of Precision: No More Stick Drift

The headline feature of the ESWAP X2 H.E is its new H.E.A.R.T. technology, which has been developed from over 15 years of expertise in magnetic sensor systems for flight simulation.

What is Hall Effect Technology?

In traditional gamepads, the analogue sticks wear out over time due to physical contact and friction, which leads to a loss of precision and the dreaded “stick drift.” H.E.A.R.T. technology measures the position of the stick using magnetic sensors, with no mechanical contact or friction. This effectively eliminates the problem of drift, ensuring the gamepad maintains its original precision and reliability even after hundreds of hours of play.

On top of the durability, this technology also provides incredible accuracy. The new H.E.A.R.T. mini-sticks can capture every movement with surgical precision, within 0.01 degrees. This provides exceptional responsiveness, faithfully reproducing every single action you make.

Tailored to Your Gameplay

While the internal technology is new, the ESWAP X2 H.E retains the signature flexibility that the series is known for. The Hot-Swap technology allows you to instantly replace and reconfigure modules on the fly. Whether you prefer a symmetrical or asymmetrical analogue stick layout, or a completely personalized setup for a specific game, the ESWAP X2 H.E adapts seamlessly to your unique gaming style.

And as you would expect from a Thrustmaster controller, every aspect of the controller is designed for high-performance gaming. From the ABXY and shoulder buttons to the D-pad and rear buttons, the ESWAP X2 H.E delivers exceptionally responsive clicks thanks to its mechanical buttons, which are 64% faster than standard membrane-based buttons. With an activation distance reduced to just 0.3 mm, you can expect precise and instant control in every action.

The era of worrying about stick drift on your pro controller could finally be over. With its groundbreaking new technology and a continued commitment to deep customisation, the Thrustmaster ESWAP X2 H.E is a powerful new contender for the title of the ultimate performance gamepad. It’s available now from Thrustmaster direct. Will you be getting one?

Xbox Game Pass Price Hike Announced, Along With Major Changes To The Service

Xbox Game Pass Price Hike Announced, Along With Major Changes To The Service

Microsoft has revealed a host of changes to Game Pass, the biggest of which is a major price hike of $10 for Ultimate subscribers. PC Game Pass is also being retired and rolled into the other tiers. Read on for a breakdown of all the changes, or check out the table at the bottom of this article.

First up, there’s been some name changes. Now we’ve got Xbox Game Pass Essential (formerly Core) and Xbox Game Pass Premium (formerly Standard). Ultimate gets to keep its name.

PC Game Pass is being retired. Existing customers can keep the subscription going, but will face a price increase from $11.99 to $16.49.

Pricing remains unchanged across the two lower tiers, but Ultimate subscribers are now going to have to pay $29.99 per month to get all of those day one Xbox “exclusives”. That’s a $10 increase over the previous price. Pricing outside of the US has not yet been confirmed.

The lowest tier, Xbox Game Pass Essential ( ($9.99, £6.99, €8.99/month), has now been expanded to include a library of 50+ games across console, PC and cloud. Microsoft also claims users will be able to earn up to 25,000 in Microsoft Reward points, but keep in mind the Rewards program just got nerfed because you can no longer directly exchange points for Game Pass. Instead, you’ve got to use the points to get gift cards, which you can redeem on your account and then use the balance to purchase Game Pass.

Xbox Game Pass Premium (($14.99, £10.99, €12.99/month) also now covers PC, console and cloud and promises 200+ games. Notably, Microsoft is promising that all Xbox-published games, like the upcoming Fable, will be available in this tier within one year of release. 50,000 worth of reward points will also be up for grabs.

However, Call of Duty titles are excluded from that one-year promise. Whether this means Call of Duty games just won’t be coming to Premium or whether it means they might take more than a year is currently unclear. Very sneaky, Microsoft.

Finally, we have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate ($29.99, £22.99, €26.99/month). It will continue to get access to Xbox-published titles on day one and will provide 400+ games. Microsoft is promising over 75 day-one games per year, which will be a mixture of Xbox-published stuff and third-party titles. But do you get anything else for your $10 extra a month? Well, yeah. Ubisoft Classics and EA Play are both included in the Ultimate tier. although EA Play was already a part of the service. Fortnite Crew will also be added later this year. Finally, 100,000 worth of reward points will be available.

The price hike for Ultimate likely reflects that Game Pass remains an unprofitable service for Microsoft, although the company refuses to publicly reveal subscriber numbers or any other relevant details.

GTA 6 devs harassed by “sick and tired” TikToker demanding to know “when’s the next delay”

GTA 6 devs harassed by “sick and tired” TikToker demanding to know “when’s the next delay”

Some GTA 6 developers have been harassed outside Rockstar North office in Scotland by a TikToker who said he’s “sick and tired of waiting for the answers,” deciding to badger developers over “when’s the next delay” and trailer. Currently, GTA 6 is on course to come out May 26th. Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive have been very tight-lipped about the game, although the Take-Two CEO has said he is confident in the release date and that the game will “deliver more value” than its price. While the entire world is anxiously waiting for the game to come out, one individual decided to film themselves flying all the way to Scotland to harass Rockstar employees.

GTA 6 devs harassed by TikToker

As spotted and relayed by Gameroll on X, a TikToker with the account name backonboulevard filmed themselves outside Rockstar North’s office in Scotland. Their TikTok video has received 117K views, and it features the content creator saying, “We are live here from Edinburgh Scotland, I flew all the way over here cause I’m sick and tired of waiting for the answers”. He then shows the entrance to Rockstar North to show that he’s live outside the building.

The video shows the TikToker shouting at one Rockstar employee, “When’s the delay, when’s the next trailer,” with the employee rushing across the road and shouting back “I don’t know”. The second developer filmed was bombarded with questions as to “when’s the delay happening, is there another delay, what about the trailer, is there a trailer”. This developer understandably just walked away without saying anything.

In the replies to Gameroll, the comments better reflect the seriousness of the situation, calling the content creator “human garbage” and his video “disgusting”. Sadly, the responses on TikTok are worse as some comments go as far as saying “I mean they [Rockstar] did it to themselves. Just release the game already”.

Suffice to say, the video is an example of how not to behave. Rockstar employees, or employees of any developer or publisher, don’t deserve to be bombarded by random individuals at their place of work or anywhere else. Take-Two and Rockstar will reveal trailer 3 and more about the game when they’re ready, and all fans can and should do is patiently wait rather than doing anything foolish.

Rockstar are already under enough pressure to meet the extraordinary expectations set by the entire world, so they don’t need to be rushed into delivering what is predicted to be the biggest entertainment launch in history.

Battlefield 6’s first season arrives just 18 days after launch and over two weeks before Black Ops 7

0
Battlefield 6’s first season arrives just 18 days after launch and over two weeks before Black Ops 7

As a multiplayer game releasing in the year 2025 – and one that’s very much modelled after Call of Duty – there was very little chance Battlefield 6 wasn’t going to adopt the now-standard live service content pipeline.

But sometimes it’s good to get things in writing, which is what EA just did.

We’re about ten days away from the official launch of Battlefield 6, and this week, EA announced what its Battlefield Studios squad will deliver post launch – at least the first batch. The developer detailed Season 1, which will kick off October 28 – only 18 days post launch.

The season’s content rollout has somewhat of an unusual structure, but it’s one that looks to guarantee something new every month. Season 1 is split across three stages, each adding new content to the game.

Rogue Ops is the first one, arriving with the season’s kick-off on October 28. This phase adds a new large-scale map called Blackwell Fields, which EA says will support land, and air vehicles. The map is set in/around an airbase in the California badlands.

We’re also getting Strikepoint, a new 4v4 mode where each player gets a single life. Rogue Ops will expand the game’s content further with three weapons – the SOR-300 carbine, Mini Fix sniper rifle, and GGH-22 sidearm – as well as a new APC.

Another unusual thing about Battlefield 6’s seasons is the fact that they’re going to add new attachments for use with its weapons. In the first phase of Season 1, we’re getting the Rail Cover, and the Low Powered Variable Optic (LPVO).

California Resistance takes over on November 18 with another new map, Eastwood. This is another large map, though it only supports land vehicles, and helicopters. Eastwood is another California-set map located around a suburb and a golf course.

The new mode in this phase is Sabotage, an 8v8 affair where teams race to destroy as many sites as they can before time runs out. Teams alternate between attacking and defending each round.

California Resistance introduces the Battle Pickups feature to Battlefield 6, which are superpowered weapons anyone can pick up and use. They’re often scattered around the maps in fixed locations, but come with limited ammo.

Speaking of weapons, you can look forward to another two new arrivals: the DB-12 shotgun, and the M327 Trait revolver sidearm. The attachment pool grows with the Troy Angled grip, too.

The last stage of Season 1 arrives December 9 with Winter Offensive, which has the least amount of content compared to the other two. Rather than a new map, the game’s Empire State launch map is getting covered in ice for a limited time as part of the Ice Lock event.

The developer says the event will introduce a new mechanic called Freeze. It doesn’t explain how it’s going to work, but it does confirm that it’s a gameplay modifier, so presumably it will be available in Portal. Speaking of which, all the new content being added will also be available for use in Portal experiences.

The only weapon getting added with that last phase is the Ice Climbing Axe, which joins the game’s melee weapons roster.

More details about Season 1 will arrive closer to launch, but it’s safe to say this is a nice salvo of content to kick-start the game’s live service journey. Battlefield 6 is out October 10 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Team Fortress 2 Classic will get an open Beta on October 13 during Steam Next Fest

Team Fortress 2 Classic will get an open Beta on October 13 during Steam Next Fest

Team Fortress 2 Classic is an upcoming mod for Valve’s shooter that aims to re-imagine the launch era of the original game and you’ll be able to try it soon. Upcoming in the sense of the Steam release that is, as it was originally launched sometime back in 2014.

On Steam the team behind it announced that for Steam Next Fest it’s going to get an open Beta test. Seems like it will be filled with a lot of content too.

More about it from the Steam page: “Team Fortress 2 Classic is a mod for Team Fortress 2 that re-imagines the early post-launch era — circa 2008 to 2009 — of the original game. Starting from there, we’ve added quality-of-life features, remade and reworked scrapped content, and built onto it with full-size updates in homage to TF2’s timeless style and tone.”

Just a small slice of what’s new in the mod includes:

Exclusive new gamemodes, including Domination, Territorial Domination, and VIP Race — all playable on professional-quality official maps, with more yet to come.
Jump pads, flak cannons, bricks, chains wrapped around your fists; made-in-house weapons that go beyond mere sidegrades, and dramatically change how you play the game.
Extensive modding support, allowing players to customize the look of their game, and allowing servers to host advanced custom weapon packs and maps.
A whole host of visual enhancements, including improved textures, models, mapping features, and restored toon-style shading that was mostly absent in the retail release.

From the announcement:

Every TF2C-exclusive weapon, gamemode, and map* will be returning, available for you to play with during the open beta! A handful of new additions we’ve made including damage feedback, balance changes, revamped Four-Team support, and more will also be available for testing. Additionally, we have a few extra surprises waiting for you.

Features that won’t be showing up just yet are ones mostly unrelated to the core gameplay experience. Achievements and custom weapon support won’t be available during the open beta, but are still slated for launch. We’re also eyeing further work to the main menu and weapon balancing.

In addition to officially hosted servers, a number of community servers will also be hosting during the event. We’ve been working with them over the last month to iron out any crashes or technical issues.

*Casbah will not be returning in its current form. We apologize for not removing it sooner.

Avalanche Liverpool to close after Contraband is put on hold | TheSixthAxis

Avalanche Liverpool to close after Contraband is put on hold | TheSixthAxis

The UK branch of Just Cause developer Avalanche Studios is to close just a few weeks after the news that Contraband, a game they were creating as an Xbox exclusive for Microsoft, is no longer in active development.

“In light of current challenges to our business and the industry, we have thoroughly reviewed how to best ensure Avalanche Studios Group’s long-term success,” reads a statement posted on the Avalanche Studios website.

“This review has led us to the difficult conclusion that we must make changes to our staffing and locations. As a result, we are proposing to close our Liverpool studio, and to initiate a collective consultation process, as required by UK law. This will impact all Avalanchers in Liverpool. The changes will also impact our other studio locations in Malmö and Stockholm, where we will reduce our workforce and restructure the teams to address our games’ needs.”

“Our immediate focus is to offer full support to all Avalanchers during this challenging time. Despite these changes, we remain deeply committed to providing amazing games to our passionate player communities.”

Avalanche Liverpool was set up in 2020 and had around 50 staff. Liverpool is the latest Avalanche studio to close, their New York and Montreal studios were shut down in June 2024 with the loss of another fifty staff.

Avalanche has not had much luck with Microsoft, having previously worked on dinosaur shooter Second Extinction. That was revealed in 2020 and did make it into early access on both PC and Xbox, but was eventually cancelled in 2023. Avalanche’s website lists Contraband as the sole upcoming title, it’s not been officially cancelled but the listing does still link back to a Microsoft page that no longer exists.

Hopefully, Avalanche have another unannounced big project waiting in the wings.  It had six projects in development in 2018 but those have either been released, such as Just Cause 4, or cancelled.

How to Get Morbol Seedling Palico Armor in Monster Hunter Wilds

Jump Links

With the release of the Final Fantasy XIV collaboration event with Title Update 3 in Monster Hunter Wilds, mysterious otherworldly foe known as Omega Planetes has descended on the Forbidden Lands.

Should you manage to defeat it, there’s an absolute treasure trove of Final Fantasy-inspired rewards waiting for you.

One of those rewards is the hilariously cute Morbol Seedling outfit for your Palico companion. If you’re looking to add it to your Felyne wardrobe, here’s how to unlock and craft the Morbol Seedling outfit in Monster Hunter Wilds.

How to Unlock Morbol Seedling Palico Armor in Monster Hunter Wilds

The Morbol Seedling Palico armor set is one of many rewards added with the 2025 Final Fantasy XIV collaboration event (Title 3 Update). The set itself is meant to resemble a classic monster in the Final Fantasy franchise known as the Malboro, albeit in its miniature “seedling” form.

To unlock this set for your Palico, you’ll first need to embark on the Extra Mission 5 that Alma will inform you of as soon as you download the update and start the game. It consists of two sub-missions titled ‘A Peak Predicament’ and then ‘Invader From the Stars’.

The second one requires you to defeat the normal variant of Omega Planetes, either solo or in a group. Make sure to be well-prepared, as this monster is easily one of the most difficult on the game’s roster.

Once it’s slain, and you claim your hunt-related rewards, the Morbol Seedling set will automatically unlock under the Palico Gear menu at the forge.

How to Craft Morbol Seedling Palico Armor in Monster Hunter Wilds

monster-hunter-wilds-morbol-seedling-craft-menu

While the Morbol Seedling set for your Palico will unlock after defeating Omega Planetes, you’ll still need the right set of monster materials to craft it. Bear in mind that they’re some of the same materials you’ll otherwise need for the Bane Armor, if you’re looking to build that for your hunter as well.

However, the material requirements for this Palico set aren’t nearly as intensive as the Hunter sets, so that’s a decent trade-off. The set consists of three pieces, including a chest piece, a head piece, and a weapon.

In all, you’ll need the following materials for each piece:

Twinflight Butterflies (weapon)

Omega Data 1.0 x 1

Omega Pedal x 1

Morbol Seedling Head (head piece)

Omega Data 1.0 x 2

Omega Screw x 2

Morbol Seedling Body (chest piece)

Omega Data 1.0 x 2

Omega Screw x 2

Be aware that like certain other Palico armor sets such as the Wudwud sets, the Morbol Seedling set functions as a onesie-type set, where both the head and chest pieces must be worn together simultaneously.

Also, like the previous Street Fighter collaboration event, you don’t need to worry about missing out on this armor set, as it’s a permanent addition to the game!
