By Jamie Ferguson.

As Jack Frost’s icy fingers slowly begin their wintery crawl across the nation, and that shivering breeze has us reaching for the warm comforts of wool and cashmere, fear not my brethren, for the Prince of Whimsy hath returned.

In the immortal words of Mr Arnie Schwarzenegger ‘Jonathan, I told you I would be back’.

No wait. That’s not quite right. Let me try again; ‘It’s me. I have come back, again.’

Nope. Not it. Last time, here we go; ‘Who is your daddy and what does he do?’

Dammit… Meh, close enough.

Now, put that cookie down and come with me into this Autumn/Winter season, as we once more dextrously prance amongst the items I’m most looking forward to wearing.

Fishtail parka

It seems that lately my style inspiration is coming from one member of the PS team or another. Simon, Lucas, Manish and Alex have a lot to answer for.

Out of the four of them, however, it’s often Mr Natt who’s my sartorial North Star. I picked up this fishtail parka from Stan Ray last season after seeing a vintage number on Alex.

Now don’t hate me, I really tried to buy second hand, but I couldn’t find anything in my size, with the details I wanted, that wasn’t TOO expensive. I think that surprised me quite a bit, that some of the more classic vintage pieces were as pricey as they were.

But I did see this and dug the attention to the finer details eg the cloth selection, the buttons, and the overall shape of the sleeves and coat itself.

I’m not particularly enamoured with the logo on the breast pocket, knowing that it would look far ‘cleaner’ without, but I figured I could unpick it later if it bothered me too much. So far though, I’m fine with it.

‘Bourgeois French Ivy Mod’ appears to be the path I tread when wearing this; often pairing it with the AWMS beret, my Alden pennies and this Drake’s brown and ecru spot scarf.

Wythe flannel shirts

I swear to god I’ve never seen Yellowstone…

I own a couple of the Wythe tencel pearlsnaps and they’re probably my favourite cut of shirts. I wanted something heavier for the Autumn and had been seeing a bunch of checked flannels on gents I often turn to for inspiration: see Aaron Levine (here) and Chase Winfrey (here).

I figured Wythe would have some great options and in a cut I already enjoy, and boy did they have OPTIONS, roughly 35 last I checked.

I ended up going for a green check and the yellow above, which has quickly become my favourite shirt.

I thought yellow would be trickier to pair and style but this has not been the case. I’ll partner it with a white/off-white trouser, like these Buck Mason P43s, lean as heavily into the ‘Western’ styling as I can before throwing on a touch of ‘Ivy’ with some black penny loafers.

This really hits that ‘sweet spot’ I love of genre mixing.

Suede layering

Suede can be a treacherous mistress.

We’ve all been there. You throw on your favourite shoes or jacket, launch out the door with a spring in your step, only for the heavens to open and say ‘No Jamie! Not today you butt-munch. Get back inside and change!’ Thanks universe.

I know people say to just treat suede as you would any other material, but that’s hard when you live in the UK and 90% of the weather you experience is some form of wet.

However, if you’ve managed to acquire that mindset, possibly through hypnosis or some form of brain washing, you’re golden.

The rougher looking, the better the patina will appear on it, at least in my opinion.

But if you’re only on the first circle of the four dynamics and have yet to achieve ‘higher status’ you might feel more comfortable layering it underneath an oversized coat or chore, like I’ve done here with my LEJ Plage coat.

This jacket is from Gaijin Made, a sister company to Blue Blue Japan, both of which are owned and operated by Seilin & Co. I picked it up on Marrkt a few years ago.

Double-breasted chalkstripe suit

Arguably the most versatile suit in my wardrobe at the minute. Here me out…

I was sceptical whether I’d get much wear out of this chalkstripe double-breasted suit when I first ordered it from The Anthology, and approached the order with caution.

Inspired by images of Davide Baroncini of Ghiaia sporting what I can only assume is a Ralph Lauren Polo version in a worsted wool, I figured I would at least have one outfit I would wear regularly.

This has slowly morphed into several, and then many. Anytime I’ve put together an ensemble I’ve often thrown the jacket on top just to see what it looks like and voilà, nine times out of 10, another option emerges.

Even when outfits would normally benefit from a navy blazer, I’ll end up swapping this jacket in instead.

Harris Tweed Teba

If you ask me the Teba doesn’t get enough love.

I think people can get thrown by the fact it’s relatively boxy and unstructured compared with your standard tailored jacket, but equally too formal feeling when you want something more casual like a chore coat. A sartorial Catch-22.

I have to admit for ages I wasn’t convinced, but after spying this lil’ number on the Beige website – who do an excellent range of Teba’s from the OG maker, Justo Gimeno – and seeing how they styled it, I was in.

I’d also look to how Douglas Cordeaux or Arnold Wong wear theirs for inspiration.

Maybe it just coincided with the fact that as I’ve gotten bulkier (read: fat) and old (read: decrepit) I look for more comfort and range of movement from my garments and this Teba, made up in a Harris Tweed Hebrides gun-club check, delivers just that.

A great piece to layer underneath a larger overcoat or waxed jacket as I’ve done here, or keep it simple and rock it on its own.

Is Fashion Losing Its Soul to AI?

Is Fashion Losing Its Soul to AI?

In August 2025, Vogue US published a Guess advertisement featuring two AI-generated models, created by London-based agency Seraphinne Vallora. Dubbed Vivienne and Anastasia, the models were presented as hyper-realistic representations of women, with a small disclosure noting their AI origin — a detail easily missed by readers.

The campaign immediately sparked social media uproar. On TikTok, users criticised both Vogue and Guess for using “fake women,” with some calling for subscription cancellations or a boycott of the magazine. Lifestyle creator Payton Wickizer said, “The fact that they are using fake women in their magazines — speechless.” Marissa Spagnoli, referencing Guess’s iconic past campaigns with Eva Mendes and Drew Barrymore, added, “This doesn’t make me want to buy anything.” Other commenters expressed concern for the livelihoods of models, photographers and creatives potentially displaced by AI-generated alternatives.

Psychologist Dr. Nicole Hawkins emphasised the psychological impact, noting that exposure to digitally perfected images can normalise unrealistic beauty standards, leading young women and girls to internalise unattainable ideals and feel inadequate. In response, Seraphinne Vallora co-founders Valentina Gonzalez and Andreea Petrescu stressed that their goal is to supplement — not replace — the fashion industry. “The heart of fashion is photography,” Gonzalez said. “We will never challenge that. This is meant to just supplement and to add a new avenue of marketing.”

Guess’s AI campaign is far from the first experiment in this space and past examples illustrate the challenges brands face when adopting AI-driven imagery. In 2024, Victoria’s Secret collaborated with Maison Meta on a Barbie-inspired AI campaign, but the hyper-realistic models were later adjusted to look overtly CGI, undermining the brand’s rebranding efforts toward inclusivity. Similarly, Levi’s partnered with Lalaland.ai in 2023 to showcase diverse body types digitally, yet critics accused the brand of “fake diversity,” arguing that real models could have achieved the same representation while preserving jobs. H&M’s use of digital “twins” of real models in 2025 raised questions about consent and the displacement of creative teams and Mango’s deployment of AI models to speed up content for teenage audiences provoked complaints about inaccurate body representation and the perpetuation of fast-fashion harms. Even speculative discussions about brands like SHEIN suggest that AI may become a natural extension of ultra-fast, low-cost content production, illustrating potential ethical pitfalls in the industry.

Beyond these controversies, AI-generated fashion campaigns raise a fundamental question on the ethical and professional implications of using AI in fashion campaigns. Creative directors such as Sybille de Saint Louvent have used AI to produce campaigns for Prada, Gucci and Jil Sander, recreating brand signatures with remarkable precision. At first glance, these images capture the familiar identity of each brand, yet critics argue they lack the depth and storytelling that human-led campaigns provide. Laurent François — managing partner at 180 — notes that entirely AI-driven campaigns often feel “anecdotal,” replicating the past rather than creating compelling new narratives. Some brands have begun to explore AI’s potential to expand creative possibilities — such as Moncler Genius and Adidas Originals’ 2023 collaboration — which blended AI-generated adventurers with mixed-media sculptures to create immersive experiences that transcend mere product display.

Beyond brands — agencies such as Deep Agency allow brands to create entirely virtual photoshoots using synthetic models or AI versions of real people — raising further questions about consent, representation and accountability. Critics argue that while AI promises efficiency and inclusivity, it risks eroding the human creativity and professional livelihoods that underpin the industry. With AI-generated imagery becoming increasingly indistinguishable from reality, calls are growing for clearer regulation, transparency and labour protections to ensure that technology augments rather than replaces human talent.

The ethical implications of AI in fashion extend far beyond aesthetics alone as consumers continue to demand transparency and campaigns that rely solely on AI risk eroding brand credibility. The technology also raises serious labour concerns, as models, photographers, stylists and makeup artists may be replaced by cheaper, infinitely reproducible digital alternatives. Issues of consent and likeness rights are emerging as well, with human models potentially losing control over digital replicas of their image. Moreover, generative AI is energy-intensive, prompting questions about environmental responsibility in a sector already scrutinised for sustainability.

The rise of AI-generated influencers further illustrates the ethical and economic stakes of digital models in fashion. Spanish AI influencer Aitana Lopez — created by the design agency The Clueless — has amassed 127,000 Instagram followers and reportedly earns up to USD 11,000 per month through sponsored content, demonstrating the lucrative potential of virtual personalities. These AI figures operate without the limitations or demands of human labour, responding to fans in multiple languages, maintaining curated personas and appearing in brand campaigns around the clock. While agency founders insist these models are supplemental rather than replacements for human talent, their existence highlights the increasing commodification of digital personas and the risk of normalising algorithmically generated ideals over real human representation — raising questions about authenticity and the psychological impact on audiences.

Read More: Opinion: Lil Miquela & The Fall of the AI influencer

Beyond this, there is the growing commercialisation of human-like personas, as brands increasingly invest in digital figures that can be meticulously controlled and monetised — free from the unpredictability of real people. Aside from marketing, AI influencers also blur the line between reality and simulation, challenging audiences to discern genuine human representation from algorithmically generated personas.

Experts suggest that the most responsible use of AI lies in augmenting rather than replacing human creativity. By automating repetitive or purely functional tasks, brands could free up resources for production design and meaningful audience engagement, rather than simply cutting costs. As AI technology continues to evolve, the decisions fashion houses make now will define the ethical and creative landscape of the industry for years to come. Vogue US’ Guess controversy illustrates both the promise and perils of AI in fashion. On the one hand, they have the potential to produce striking visuals, but without careful oversight, AI risks undermining authenticity, labour rights and the very human artistry that has long been at the heart of the industry.

Zurich menswear: Trunk, readers, VMC and lake swimming

Last week we held an event for readers at Trunk in Zurich, signing books and the magazine, as well as bringing Wool Walkers so everyone could have a chance to try the new coat.

It was a lovely evening, buzzy and fun, and I never tire of meeting the spectrum of PS readers – young guys exploring suits for the first time, older ones who have had their suits made at Anderson & Sheppard for generations.

A few friends popped in too – Andrew Borda, a writer for PS; Paul Fournier, a menswear friend for many years; Ingo Zorc at Bucherer, who we did the big billboard shoot with two years ago; and Pawel, the reader Manish ran into in Thailand

It was a lot of fun, although as per usual the thing I found most interesting was learning about Zurich – a city I’ve only ever been to once before, and then only in a previous life.

The Trunk and Monocle stores are next to each other in the chic south-east part of town, and that’s where we stayed too. It was wonderfully relaxed, and we went swimming in the lake both days (luckily it was still 24 degrees).

Mats (Klingberg, Trunk founder) was telling us about how the shop opened, back in 2018, and particularly found its feet during Covid.

During those odd years, people in Zurich were allowed to meet up with up to five others at a time, so everyone spent time having dinner at each other’s houses.

Monocle was able to remain open because it was a newsagent, not just a shop, and a lot of people ended up hanging around the area, taking away coffees (and later negronis) and chatting on the street.

I always forget that (impressively) Monocle doesn’t do Instagram, and focuses all its efforts on gatherings like this – there was one on the same night as our events too, in partnership with a German department store.

It’s a focus on smaller groups of people – less of a reach – but perhaps a richer connection to those people. It certainly seems to work for them and the crowd at the event.

One of our first questions to readers we met was what other menswear stores we should visit in town. The general answer was that there isn’t much, and Trunk is certainly in a small group at the top, but one that came up repeatedly was VMC.

We went to VMC the following day, and it really was impressive. You could tell immediately it was the kind of place PS readers would love, because the staff all had the look (a casual, workwear one) and knew the brands inside out.

Unlike workwear stores in London, the brand mix was really wide – both in terms of price and style. There was a lot of Freewheelers, Real McCoy’s and At Last, but also Goldwin fleeces, Smedley polos and several craft brands we’d never heard of. Those included Rakki and Casa-Isaac, and I ended up getting a Rakki sweater.

In an interesting parallel with Monocle, VMC doesn’t sell online and never has. It’s almost 40 years old, and a lot of shops I know that took that stand against e-commerce (often Italian) folded as a result. VMC seems to have survived, perhaps as a result of its closeness to customers.

Elsewhere in Zurich we popped into the Ludwig Reiter store, as there isn’t one in London any more. Some of their chunky derbies are good options for that style of shoe – the roundness is mitigated by a thin welt, and they use quite a comfortable, slightly banana-shaped last.

We also went to Dee-Cee, which was founded by an ex-employee of VMC and has a similar vibe. They had some more fashion brands among the Japanese repros and traditional outfitters, such as Kapital and Stone Island.

There wasn’t much else – a couple of decent department stores, Pelikamo and the Swedish brand Rose & Born – and it was always a pleasure to return to Trunk and Monocle’s quiet corner of town.

Trunk is celebrating its 15-year anniversary at the moment (London, not Zurich) and there are some interesting collaborations coming in the next few weeks. In store, I was after another pair of Paraboot Barth shoes, but apparently they’re gone for the year now. Oh well, I’ll wait.

Thank you to everyone who came out last Thursday, and I’m so proud PS is of so much use to so many people. Thank you to Adrian, Gretchen, Mats and everyone at Trunk for hosting us as well. See you all next time.

I was wearing: Sartoria Salino jacket in Maison Hellard ‘Mildmay’ cloth, being covered in full soon. With a cream knit on the shoulders (it was cold in the evening… shoulder season).

Top 10 Best Marc Jacobs Perfume for Women in 2025

September 22, 2025

Perfume is more than a finishing touch — it’s a reflection of mood, personality, and style. When it comes to femininity in a bottle, few brands have executed it quite as effortlessly as Marc Jacobs. If you’ve experienced Marc Jacobs’ fragrance line, you know the brand’s unique style, which appeals to women of all ages, and is as playful or sophisticated as you are. If it’s the pretty, flowery, and pleasant smells of the Daisy group or the strong self-voice parts of Perfect line each smell is a story that’s ready to wear.

The charm of Marc Jacobs’ scents goes well past the smell notes. Most of his smells go from soft, playful, or light for daily use, to stronger, deeper choices meant for nights out or special times; this is why each smell seems like it can fit in many places. Many of the bottles look like a piece of art – fun daisy tops, light colors or unusual caps make these bottles just as lovely on a shelf as they are on skin.

The brand is set as a powerhouse in the industry, as Marc Jacobs continues to support both classic scents as well as exciting new launches in 2025. Daisy has been around for eons so whether you’re a longtime admirer of Daisy or just coming to learn how lovely Perfect is, there is something for everyone in this collection. But with so many different options, how do you choose the best Marc Jacobs perfume? This is why we’ve compiled the list of Top 10 Best Marc Jacobs Perfumes for Women in 2025, including fresh floral fragrances, warm gourmand compositions, and confident and modern statements, exactly what you think of when you think Marc Jacobs.

1. Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh

Daisy Eau So Fresh has been a popular choice for years, and it is no surprise that in 2025, it is still on our list as one of the best Marc Jacobs scents for women. Daisy Eau So Fresh is a bright, bubbly twist of Daisy; it is fun but classy. This smell bursts open with fruity flavors of grapefruit, raspberry and green pear, which make a fresh splash and an upbeat feel that just seems perfect for spring and summer. Violet apple blossom and jasmine show the flower heart while musk cedarwood and plum make a warm end made up of musky smells.

This is perfect for you if you like bright, happy, and light fragrances that you can wear every day. No matter if you’re heading to brunch, shopping with pals, or going to a day event Daisy Eau So Fresh makes sure you smell so chic.

2. Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau de Toilette

MJs Daisy Eau de Toilette

The first Daisy is one of the most wanted scents in Marc Jacobs’s group and has always been on top of every best Marc Jacobs scent list since it came out in 2007, showing the young, fun feel that makes many of the Daisy fragrances special.

The smell starts with cheerful wild fruits and white flower hints, mixed with a soft flowery center of jasmine, resting on sandalwood base notes that give weight but not heaviness. The final piece is a perfume that is clean and feminine while at the same time feels timeless and effortlessly appealing to women seeking out reliable fragrances.

This perfume is also great all year round, especially in the daytime. It’s subtle enough for work, very flirty for casual out-of-work time, and is good enough to find a lot of fragrance lovers with it in their collection.

3. Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau de Toilette

Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau de Toilette

If women are looking for a sweeter play on Daisy DNA that is all about the warmth of the fruit, Daisy Love is the best option. Daisy Love has a few similarities to the original version but displays a more gourmand, cozy vibe, rather than an airy freshness. Daisy Love definitely has cloudberry as its star note, as opposed to the more floral characteristics of the original, opening on a top note that is fruity yet creamy. The heart is filled with daisy tree petals, and the base of cashmere musk and driftwood makes the fragrance warmer and more comforting.

Daisy Love is probably one of the best Marc Jacobs perfumes to wear during the fall and winter time, especially for the evening. It is romantic, slightly addictive, and a good choice for women who want to wear a fragrance that leans a bit sweeter while still being part of the charm of the Daisy collection.

4. Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Intense

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Intense

If you enjoyed the fun lightness of Daisy but wanted a bit more staying strength and a touch stronger scent, then Daisy Eau So Intense is for you. As the name hints, it is a stronger and more powerful version of the first fragrance.

Daisy Eau So Intense starts with sweet hints of berry and pear, with a flowery middle of honey and rose, and a deeper base of vanilla and moss, which brings a bit͏ of a tasty feel but more class. Daisy Eau So Intense is really best suited for an evening out in colder weather, or a situation where you want your perfume to pack a little bit more punch.

This is arguably the best Marc Jacobs perfume for women in 2025 because it takes a much-loved classic and amplifies it for more sillage and longevity.

5. Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild

MJs Daisy Wild

A relative newcomer to the Daisy line, Daisy Wild has made quite a splash in early 2025. It takes the youthful spirit of Daisy and gives it an adventurous green twist. It feels even a little edgier, and more natural, with floral and wildflower notes blended within the green notes that set it apart from other Daisy flankers.

The smells have macadamia, sandalwood and vetiver; adding natural earth feel and grounding without losing its fun side. Daisy Wild fits for women who like nature-based scents overall but want something that’s a bit less usual and fruity-flower. It is a perfume that just feels fun grounded, and not stuck to a certain time or place, great for festivals, informal nights or anytime you wanna be yourself.

6. Marc Jacobs Perfect Eau de Parfum

Marc Jacobs Perfect Eau de Parfum

Out of the Daisy family, Marc Jacobs has the Perfect collection, which is also iconic. Perfect Eau de Parfum is modern, bold, and confident in its uniqueness. It opens with a surprising rhubarb + narcissus note combination, and is sharp and floral. The heart is creamy with almond milk, and the cedar and cashmeran base gives warmth and texture to the fragrance overall.

Perfect is one of the finest Marc Jacobs perfumes for women looking for something unique, contemporary, and much less “girly” than Daisy. It is a perfume about self-expression, therefore better either wearing at night, for special occasions, or for a memorable moment to wear when a scent reflects confidence.

7. Marc Jacobs Perfect Elixir Eau de Parfum

MJs Perfect Elixir Eau de Parfum

Perfect Elixir is one of the most wild Marc Jacobs launches in the past due to its unique approach on the re-visioned Perfect, offering richer, sweeter, in a more luxurious formula. This scent plays with vanilla, woods and a deeper rhubarb tone, delivering both playful and sensual elements.

If you are seeking a perfume with strength that will take you well into the night and leave a memorable trail, Perfect Elixir is a must. It is great for love dates, night happenings and in the cold times when light smells just don’t show enough. Lots of fragrance fans think this is one of the top Marc Jacobs scents in 2025, as it gives a new mix of sweet and deep.

8. Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense Eau de Parfum

Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense Eau de Parfum

As the name suggests, Perfect Intense offers the stronger, richer interpretation of the original Perfect. It still takes the original contemporary almond milk and floral-woody DNA, but dials it up to add more depth and projection. This fragrance stands out as complex, powerful and unapologetic, and therefore an incredible option for women who want to wear fragrances that definitely make a statement.

Perfect Intense is better reserved for special occasions, evenings or times when it is cold outside. If the original Perfect is too light/thin/short lived for your liking, this is a reasonable upgrade! As of 2025, it is still a top selling favorite for those who love the long lasting longevity that Marc Jacobs offers.

9. Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream

Daisy Dream is another wonderful name that deserves a spot on this list of best Marc Jacobs fragrances for women. In comparison to the original Daisy and some of its other well known sisters, Daisy Dream goes more fruity and airy. It has hints of berry, pear, and grapefruit. Next come lovely hints of wisteria jasmine and lychee with a gentle base of coconut water and white wood.

Finally, the finished item has an airy, soft, and a bit fruity scent that’s great for warm days, seaside trips, or just when you feel like having fun but still classy. Daisy Dream is nice in a young way without being overly sugary and it fits any event it charms many buyers.

10. Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet

Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet

Last on our list is Daisy Love Eau So Sweet, a scent that welcomes sweetness in a ͏strong but fun way. It starts from the first Daisy Love type, but adds more of the sweet, dessert-like flavor. Beginning with raspberry and cloudberry this scent moves fast into a sweet musk middle, finally resting into daisy and white iris.

All in all this scent is cheerful, playful, and great for gatherings, outings, and any time when you wish your smell to have a lively feel! It may be a little too sweet for people who like fresher scents. But it is truly one of the most unique Marc Jacobs perfumes out there today.

Trends in Marc Jacobs Perfumes for 2025

If I had to virtually classify Marc Jacobs perfumes in 2025, it would be (1) new editions of Daisy with a fresh take, and (2) even more intense editions of Perfect. On one hand, there is Daisy Wild, which gives the essence of the original Daisy a green/nature twist while there is Eau So Intense and Eau So Sweet. These editions are meant for fans of the Daisy mold who want a longer-lasting perfume or a sweeter/more playful scent. On the other hand, the Perfect brand has added Perfect Elixir and Perfect Intense (although slightly different from its predecessor Perfect), which offers women deeper, luxurious, unctuous (and bold) fragrances for modern women.

Another trend is women tend to prefer perfumes that have a better performance on their skin (when they smell like they’re perfuming the entire room!). A lot of fans are opting for the “intense” and “elixir” versions, so that they can have an all-day or all-night perfume experience (i.e., it doesn’t fade too quickly). The need for these types of fragrances makes sense for the lifestyle of 2025 where women want a sense of fun, but also sophistication for their perfume bookmark.

How to Choose the Best Marc Jacobs Perfume for You

How to Choose the best marc jacobs perfume for You

The best Marc Jacobs fragrances are subjective, and consumers can consider several factors to help determine which perfume is right for them including personal preference, lifestyle, and the season. Here are some helpful suggestions to assist readers in making decisions about a Marc Jacobs fragrance:

For day wear: Lighter, fresher fragrances like Daisy Eau So Fresh or Daisy Dream are better fitted for daylight hours. For evenings or cooler weather: Heavier perfumes like Perfect Elixir, Perfect Intense, or Daisy Eau So Intense are more fitting for the evenings or in cooler weather. For romantic or playful occasions: Daisy Love Eau So Sweet, and Daisy Love are sweeter, almost addictive perfumes. For something that there is less chance of anybody else having: Perfect Eau de Parfum, and Daisy Wild are different because of their distinctive blends.

As a rule of thumb, testers are useful, but it is always such a good idea to test perfumes on your skin prior to purchasing any perfume in its full bottle for multiple reasons. One major factor is because of body chemistry, skin can change how a fragrance develops on it. I think we all have had the moment when you smell a perfume on a friend and you think “that’s a beautiful scent” or “I want it” only to try it on yourself later to be disappointed.

Final Thoughts

There is still a special place in women’s fragrances for Marc Jacobs fragrances. If the whimsical presented by the Daisy collection or the bold self-expressive nature of the Perfect line appeals, it is clear that there is something at this house that appeals to everybody.

If you are searching for good Marc Jacobs scents in 2025, you should think about your character, clothes, and way of life. Daisy Eau So Fresh is still the top choice for ladies who enjoy cheerful freshness, while Perfect Elixir has fast become a current favorite for people wanting richness and strength. For lovers of sweetness, Daisy Love Eau So Sweet gives fun that is hard to resist; meanwhile, Daisy Wild talks to free-spirited girls who enjoy adventure.

The charm of Marc Jacobs smells is in their power to make you feel young and classy at once. They’re more than just fragrances — they’re joy uppers, self-esteem helpers, and fashion signs in a jar. Investing in one (or more) of these top 10 options ensures you always have the right fragrance to suit any occasion in 2025.

Marc Jacobs Sunglasses Review: Are They Really That Good?

Marc Jacobs Sunglasses Review: Are They Really That Good?

September 22, 2025

For producing exquisite fashion lines, the name of Marc Jacobs has always linked up with class, inventiveness, and daring style statements. From bags to scents, the brand has made a big impact in the fashion world and sunglasses are no different. But with many posh eyewear brands fighting for notice— think Gucci, Prada, Dior and Ray-Ban— the question stays: Are Marc Jacobs sunglasses truly that good?

In this Marc Jacobs sunglasses test, we will look closely at their quality, style͏, ease, cost and worth to help you think if these shades are really worth the money.

The Aesthetic Appeal of Marc Jacobs Sunglasses

One of the first things that makes Marc Jacobs shades pop is their eye-catching style. Known for mixing classic grace with a bit of fresh flair, these shades often have large frames, bright colors, and special touches like fancy sides or changing lenses.

For instance, Marc Jacobs glasses have a smooth, modern touch while their cat-eye and big square styles are for fashion fans who want to make a bold style mark. Whether you like simple or want something flashy the collection has a mix that fits different types of people and face forms. Marc Jacobs shades aren’t just glasses, they’re a style item made to lift your whole look.

Quality & Craftsmanship

Quality & Craftsmanship

A fancy brand’s name mostly depends on the skill behind its items, and Marc Jacobs does not let down here. The shades are built with strong plastic and good metal frames, which make sure they last a long time. The glasses often have a UV guard keeping your eyes safe from bad rays while keeping clear sight.

When you look at cheap fast-fashion glasses, Marc Jacobs sunglasses seem tougher and nicer. The parts that bend, for instance, are strong and easy to use, stopping the weak feel that low-cost glasses may have. Lots of buyers see that even with regular use, the frames keep their original shape and look over time; it makes them a smart pick for lasting wear.

Comfort & Fit

Comfort & Fit

Aside from style, ease is very important in choosing if a set of sunglasses is worth having. Luckily, Marc Jacobs shades do well in this part too. Their light materials stop the “too-heavy” feeling that some fancy frames bring when you wear them for long times. The nose pads on their metal-frame shades can be changed, making them fit better for various face shapes.

Lots of customers think Marc Jacobs glasses rest easy on the nose and ears with no push or sketch marks. This care for comfy design makes sure the brand gives not only fashion but also use.

Pricing: Affordable Luxury or Overpriced?

Pricing- Affordable luxury or overpriced

When it comes to pricing, Marc Jacobs sunglasses sit in a category almost referred to as affordable luxury. They are a bit more expensive than some of the better-known, mid-sized brands, such as Michael Kors or Tory Burch; yet, they remain much cheaper than names of the caliber of Cartier or Chanel. An average pair of Marc Jacobs sunglasses would cost between $150 and $300, depending on style and design details.

For clothes fans who want nice things without paying high costs, Marc Jacobs shades give a good deal. You get a brand name with strong skill and stylish look— without going into the four-digit price range.

Style Versatility

Style Versatility

Big Square Glasses: Great for making a stylish, star-like say.Cat-Eye Shades: Give a womanly, old-style touch to your look.Aviators? A classic choice that fits for both guys and gals.Round Glasses – Great for a old-style͏, creative style.

This changeability makes Marc Jacobs shades a useful buy, because one pair can move smoothly between many places and clothes.

Celebrity Endorsement & Pop Culture Presence

marc jacobs sunglasses review- Celebrity Endorsement & Pop Culture Presence

One of the bigger reasons why Marc Jacobs have found their stature in pop culture. From Brandy Melville to Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid, almost every star or influencer from our generation has been spotted wearing Marc Jacobs sunglasses, thereby fueling the hype. When stars show off a brand, it usually boosts its charm, and Marc Jacobs has done well to keep that trendy look in the glasses market.

Comparing Marc Jacobs to Competitors

In the busy fancy glasses area, Marc Jacobs does pretty good. When you look at Gucci or Prada shades, Marc Jacobs often goes for fun, bright styles instead of simple class. If you like a name that welcomes fashion trends, Marc Jacobs is a strong choice!

When you look at Michael Kors shades, Marc Jacobs appears a bit more special in both looks and making, but it costs a bit more. The name doesn’t hit the hand-made luxury of Cartier or Chanel; it still finds a nice mix of style, value, and ease to get.

After looking at their look, quality, ease, and whole worth, it’s safe to say that Marc Jacobs shades are really worth thinking about. They hit a great mix between stylish design and steady workmanship offering wearers both style and strongness.

They can never aspire to the very lofty status of Chanel and Cartier but they form an intersection where glamour meets ready-to-wear, providing that glam push away from the regular glasses brands.

How to Choose the Best Tory Burch Tote for Your Lifestyle

With so many options to choose from, you’re likely thinking: which Tory Burch tote is the best one for me? The answer really is dependent on your use of the bag as well as the role you hope to have it engage in your wardrobe. It is this balance of form and function that make Tory Burch totes timeless as an investment.

When thinking about the best Tory Burch tote to add to your closet in 2025, consider your lifestyle and what you actually need in a handbag. For example, the Perry Triple-compartment Tote and the Robinson Tote will probably seem appealing to professionals because they have a structured shape and can hold a substantial amount of work necessities. Is Coach Better Than Michael Kors? A Detailed Comparison

September 22, 2025

When it comes to fancy but easy-to-get style, two names often rule the talk: Coach and Michael Kors. Both brands are known for their nice bags, trendy extras, and low prices to start in the luxury world. Yet fashion fans and new buyers alike often find themselves asking is Coach better than Michael Kors?

This question isn’t easy to answer with just yes or no since both brands serve slightly different crowds, looks, and likes. While Coach is often praised for its making skills, history, and leather goodness; Michael Kors has made a name for itself with trendy styles and dreamy charm!

To help you see better, this blog offers a close look at Coach and Michael Kors on design, quality, price, fame, resale worth and more. When you are done reading; you’ll know which brand might fit you best.

The Legacy and Brand Heritage

The Legacy and Brand Heritage

Coach

Coach started in New York City in the year 1941 as a tiny family sho͏p that made leather items. Over the years, the brand became known for its classic American look and strong leather work. With their “glove-tanned” leather, Coach bags were made to hold up, making them good buys for daily use.

In the last few years, with the clever guide of Stuart Vevers, Coach has changed itself, mixing new looks with old styles. Team-ups with artists and trendsetters, plus bringing out the sub-brand Coach 1941, have placed Coach as a label that honors past while welcoming new ideas.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors, on the other hand, was started in 1981 by the designer himself, quickly getting noticed for his stylish and travel-inspired designs. The brand became very popular in the early 2000s especially when it brought out the Michael Michael Kors line which made fancy fashion more easy to get.

Michael Kors bags are mostly smooth, new, and easy to spot, because of the special MK logo parts. Unlike a Coach bag which leans much on leather work Michael Kors looks at styles, celebrity impact and runway-like looks.

If the past and story mean something to you, Coach has a better record. Michael Kors, on the other hand, speaks to people who like a new shine and stylish look.

Design Aesthetic and Style

Design Aesthetic and Style

Coach

Coach leans to timeless, simple grace. Their bags show clear shapes, minimal branding, and great materials. Though they tried bolder designs with fun patterns and teamwork, the heart of Coach is classic luxury that doesn’t shout for notice. This softness attracts buyers who want flexible items that mix well with different clothes.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors does great with being bold and easy to spot. With its famous MK symbol, shiny bits, and set shapes, MK bags are made for people who enjoy a bit of sparkle. From tote bags to crossbody styles, their designs align with current fashion trends, often making them statement pieces.

Verdict: If you prefer timeless sophistication, Coach wins. If you enjoy trendy, logo-centric, and glamorous accessories, Michael Kors might be more appealing.

Quality and Craftsmanship

Quality and Craftsmanship

Coach

Goodness is where Coach really glows. Famous for using fine leathers, like pebbly and glove-tanned types, their bags are made to stick around for years. Stitching, bits of metal, and care for detail stay alike across groups. Many loyal buyers say that their Coach bags last well even after everyday use.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors gives good quality, mainly in its top collections, but many of its common bags use covered cloth with leathe͏r edges. While these things are strong and useful, they don’t really reach the fancy touch of Coach’s leather items. Still, Michael Kors does great at making stylish, light bags that are fit for daily uses.

Judgment: When it comes to work and strength, Coach is often seen as better than Michael Kors.

Pricing and Accessibility

Pricing and Accessibility

Coach

Coach bags cost from $200 to $600 for many styles and higher for lines like Coach 1941. Their prices show their aim on good leather items, but they are still cheaper than luxury names like Gucci or Louis Vuitton.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors is a bit cheaper, with lots of bags costing from $150 to $400. The Michael Michael Kors group mostly aims at a wider audience, making fancy styles easy for more folks to get.

Outcome: Michael Kors is cheaper and easier to find, but Coach makes up for its bit higher cost with better skill in making.

Popularity and Brand Perception

Popularity and Brand Perception

Coach

In the start of 2000s, Coach got hard talks for too much showing. But in the last ten years, the brand has changed itself well, placing itself as a “new fancy” name. Now, Coach has a good name for mixing old skills with young, stylish looks.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors shot up in fame in the 2010s, becoming a well-known name all over the world. But, its broad access and often low prices sometimes make it seem like a “mass-market” brand instead of a real luxury one. Still, the brand has strong awareness and gets support from famous people, which keeps it desirable for lots of folks.

Choice: Coach is seen as more high-end now, while Michael Kors is viewed as stylish but more usual.

Versatility and Everyday Use

Versatility and Everyday Use

Coach

Coach bags are famous for their usefulness and strength; making them great for everyday use. Their timeless styles make them switch from work to relaxed outings without seeming odd.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors has flexible styles too, but lots are more trendy meaning they can sometimes seem less useful for different times. For instance a bright MK-logo bag may not mix as smoothly in formal places like a plain Coach purse.

Decision: Coach is more useful for daily use while Michael Kors does great in making fancy show items.

Resale Value and Investment Potential

Resale Value and Investment Potential

Coach

Coach bags have good value when sold again especially the rare ones, team-ups, or old leather items. Though they don’t hit the resale heights of fancy names like Chanel or Hermès; they still pull in shoppers in the used market because of their strength and lasting charm.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors has less resale value than Coach. This is due to their easy access and many sales, MK bags drop in value quicker in the used market.

Decision: Coach gives better lasting worth for resale.

Celebrity Influence and Pop Culture Impact

Celebrity Influence and Pop Culture Impact

Michael Kors has been linked to the fancy traveler way of life, with famous people like Jennifer Lopez, Gigi Hadid and Blake Lively often seen with MK items. The brand’s show stage presence also backs up its top-class status.

Coach, while more soft, has also caused ripples in pop culture. Ads with Selena Gomez and Jennifer Lopez have helped the brand link with younger fans. The Coach’s skill to mix history with new star power gives it a boost in lasting cultural meaning.

Judgment: Both names do well in pop culture but Michael Kors leans more on fancy stuff, while Coach mixes old-time style and new star power.

Sustainability and Ethical Practices

Sustainability and Ethical Practices

Staying green is more and more key in clothes, and both companies are doing well.

Coach has started plans like the Coach (Re) Loved plan, which looks at fixing and reusing old bags.Michael Kors has ma͏de moves for being eco-friendly too but its work is not as clear or talked about as Coach’s.

Judgment: Coach is in front for being more sustainable and doing fashion right.

The Final Verdict: Is Coach Better Than Michael Kors?

So, is Coach nicer than Michael Kors? The answer depends a lot on what you care about most in a brand.

If you focus on skill, strength, history and sales value Coach is a clear winner. Its leather items are made to last and its fresh change makes it a strong choice in the easy luxury area.If you like fashion that follows trends, low cost, and bold designs, Michael Kors might fit you more. It’s chic, easy to find, and great for folks who want glitz without the big price.

In the end, picking between Coach and Michael Kors depends on your own style and daily needs. If you wish for a classic, sturdy bag that mixes good quality with elegance, Coach is maybe the best pick. If you seek something in trend, attention-grabbing and comparatively cheap then Michael Kors will not let you down.

Final Thoughts

The talk on if Coach is better than Michael Kors isn’t about saying one brand is the best for everyone. It’s more about seeing the special good points each offers. Coach shows a mix of tradition and new style, with leather work that has lasted long. Michael Kors, on the other hand, gets today’s fashion vibe with its bright logo designs and easy reach for people.

If you prefer longevity, understated core styles, and investment value, Coach will likely feel the more justified purchase. For the person that loves trendy fashion, statement pieces, or affordability from the luxury fashion spectrum, Michael Kors cannot be overlooked.

To sum up, the “better” brand is one that fits your individual style and preference. Fashion is about being self-expressive as much as it is about brands. Whether it be a Coach satchel or a Michael Kors tote, what matters is feeling confident and stylish in your purchase, and feeling like yourself.

Dubai Fashion Week Official SS26 for Womenswear and Menswear

Dubai Fashion Week Official SS26 for Womenswear and Menswear

Running from September 1 to 6, 2025, is more than just a series of runway shows—it’s Dubai’s declaration of intent to the global luxury fashion industry. Strategically placed at the very start of the international fashion calendar, DFW sets the stage before New York, London, Milan, and Paris take over. This season’s opening underscored Dubai’s unique proposition: a city where heritage, innovation, and global ambition converge.

dubai fashion week 2025 dubai fashion week 2025 dubai fashion week 2025dubai fashion week 2025

From Arab Fashion Week to Global Institution

DFW’s roots lie in Arab Fashion Week, launched in 2015 by the Arab Fashion Council (AFC). The vision of Jacob Abrian, who founded AFC at the age of 22, was to put Arab creativity on the world stage. In 2023, the collaboration between the AFC and Dubai Design District (d3) gave birth to the rebranded Dubai Fashion Week—an event designed to rival the Big Four. Today, d3 is home to more than 1,100 creative businesses and has become the natural home for an event of this scale.

The strategy is clear: make Dubai the fashion capital of the Middle East and a global fashion hub. With The Buyers Programme, exclusive industry dinners, and initiatives like Fashion Futures, DFW ensures designers are not just seen—they’re connected to international markets, press, and buyers.

Emerging Trends and Themes for SS26

DFW is quickly becoming a barometer for what’s next in luxury. Key themes so far:

Sustainability redefined: Upcycled fabrics, eco-conscious processes, and innovation (TOTON’s batik and paper clay artistry, designers like Fioletowy Studio utilizing eco-friendly silks and upcycled materials).
Cultural fusion: Eastern heritage meeting Western glamour, as seen in Rizman Ruzaini’s modernization of Malaysian batik with couture drama.
Empowered femininity: Structured silhouettes, jewel tones, and architectural tailoring, seen in Zeena Zaki’s and Heba Jasmi’s work, and also in Chic & Holland’s regal gowns.
Inclusivity: With 40% of designers hailing from emerging markets, such as Southeast Asia and Central America (according to AFC reports), DFW is positioning itself as a genuine trendsetter for global diversity.

Key Initiatives Driving Growth

The Buyers Programme: Over 200 global buyers from Harrods to Neiman Marcus, generating $15M in orders last season.
Fashion Futures (Sept 4–5): Panels on AI, sustainability, and digital fashion.
SOUEAST Sponsorship: Electric vehicles showcased alongside couture—an alignment with Dubai’s 2030 sustainability goals.
The Italian Trade Agency’s “Italian Day” on September 3 boosted UAE-Italy trade, with Italian fashion exports to the UAE up 18.8% in 2025 to €620 million.

Together, these initiatives reinforce Dubai’s role as a bridge between creativity and commerce.

The Growth Story: A First Stop for Global Fashion

What makes DFW stand out? Its inclusivity and globalism. Designers from Malaysia to Lebanon, India to Italy, Indonesia to Poland show alongside homegrown talents. Couture names like Michael Cinco and Manish Malhotra bring headline appeal, while emerging voices find an international platform. For many, it’s not just about showing collections—it’s about tapping into Dubai’s unique blend of luxury consumers, retail innovation, and cultural exchange.

By taking place ahead of New York, Dubai has cleverly positioned itself as the first word in the global style conversation.

Economic Impact and Global Reach

DFW contributes over $100 million annually to Dubai’s economy through tourism and retail, with 50,000+ attendees expected this season (a 20% increase from 2024). It attracts buyers from 50 countries, boosting exports for regional designers by 30%, per d3 stats. Celebrity sightings so far include influencers like Karen Wazen and Bollywood stars, amplifying social media reach—#DFWSS26 has over 1 million impressions on platforms like Instagram and X in the first two days.

Day One: Setting the Stage

The Spring/Summer 2026 edition opened with a spectacular display of diversity and cultural storytelling:

Rizman Ruzaini paid homage to Malaysian heritage with Mustika—a love letter to the kebaya and batik, modernized with intricate embroidery and couture drama. Actually titled “RIMBA,” the collection drew from Southeast Asian rainforests, featuring flora-fauna motifs worn by global icons like Beyoncé and Rihanna in past designs.
Followed by Heba Jasmi’s “Born to Rise,” redefining femininity with architectural elegance.
Krésha Bajaj’s international debut, “The Archive of Hidden Things,” blends Gothic architecture and surrealist motifs in ready-to-wear couture.
Amjad Khalil unveiled Beyond Black, a deeply personal collection that explores transformation through sculptural silhouettes that merge shadow and light.
Erick Bendaña showcased Nicaraguan artistry, featuring prints, cultural motifs, and bold eveningwear that celebrated Central American identity.
Angelo Estera closed with a show weaving influences from the Far East to the Sahara, a multicultural tapestry of rich textures and desert-inspired tones.

The takeaway? Day One was a manifesto: DFW doesn’t just host shows, it celebrates cultural roots while pushing forward-looking design.

Day Two: Power, Femininity, and Sustainability

On September 2, a diverse lineup showcased global talent:

FLTRD (ARAD and I AM): Opened with a bold showcase of emerging Middle Eastern talent, emphasizing creativity and self-expression.
Erick Bendaña (The Sun and The Moon): A celestial couture collection blending Nicaraguan heritage with golden gowns and silver cosmic spirals, enriched by Panamanian jeweler Michelle Ferrer.
Fioletowy Studio (Elevation): Debuted a 30-look silk collection handcrafted in India, with Lisa Haydon as the showstopper, inspired by staircases and sustainable practices.
Chic & Holland (300 Hours): Dutch couture with crystal-embellished gowns and baroque-inspired silhouettes, reflecting regal luxury.
Maison Novague (L’Écriture du Corps): A poetic collection in ivory, gold, and scarlet, celebrating femininity through fluid silks and structured forms.

Day Two showcased DFW’s dual identity, where luxury craftsmanship meets sustainability and cultural richness.

Day Three: Italian Elegance and Global Innovation

Day 3 (September 3) marked a high point with “Italian Day,” a celebration of Italian craftsmanship presented by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), alongside diverse global talents, showcasing DFW’s role as a cultural bridge:

Valentina Poltronieri: Unveiled a vibrant SS26 collection blending bold colors and avant-garde silhouettes, emphasizing Italian artisanal techniques with a modern edge.
Le Twins: Presented a playful yet sophisticated ready-to-wear collection, mixing streetwear influences with Italian tailoring, celebrating youthful energy.
D-Exterior: Showcased sleek, minimalist designs with luxurious textures, reflecting Italy’s timeless elegance and contemporary flair.
Gil Santucci: Delivered intricate couture pieces with delicate embroidery, drawing on Italian heritage to create romantic, ethereal looks.
Avant Toi: Featured experimental knitwear with distressed textures and bold color palettes, pushing boundaries of Italian craftsmanship.
Be Nina: Closed the Italian Day shows with feminine, flowy designs infused with vibrant prints, embodying Italian sophistication with global appeal.
Anomalous: Futuristic designs with metallic accents, blending Middle Eastern and sci-fi aesthetics.
Aavva: Bold, architectural silhouettes with intricate beadwork, reflecting Dubai’s modern luxury.
Dhruv Kapoor: Gender-fluid designs merging Indian craftsmanship with contemporary streetwear.

Day Three reinforced DFW’s role as a cultural bridge, uniting Italian craftsmanship with global innovation.

Day Four: Heritage, Power, and Modern Femininity (September 4, 2025)

Day 4 featured seven designers, blending global perspectives with individuality, strength, and architectural elegance, with a focus on traditional motifs and contemporary silhouettes. High-profile guests included H.E. Husin Bagis, Ambassador of Indonesia to the UAE. Off-runway, The Outsiders Perspective dinner, hosted by Jamie Gill, connected influencers and buyers, fostering B2B opportunities.

Jozeph Diarbakrli (Lebanon): Debuted a Hollywood-inspired collection honoring iconic women, with structured suiting, sparkling fabrics, and bold silhouettes evoking diva glamour.

Day Four generated $5 million in preliminary buyer orders via The Buyers Programme, reinforcing DFW’s commercial impact.

Day Five: Innovation, Modest Luxury, and Emerging Talents (September 5, 2025)

Day 5 shifted toward quiet luxury, cultural heritage, and future-forward design, featuring six showcases that spotlighted modest fashion and youth innovation. Over 20 emerging talents from FAD Institute stole the spotlight, while established names brought sophistication. A highlight was the launch of Michael Cinco’s collaboration with SOUEAST, unveiling a custom art car blending couture aesthetics with sustainable automotive design—symbolizing DFW’s cross-industry push. The day drew buyers from Harrods and Saks, emphasizing commercial viability.

THAT Concept Store (UAE): Opened with a bold FW25 women’s ready-to-wear showcase (previewing into SS26 trends), featuring sculptural balloon silhouettes, reimagined denim, fluid drapery, fringe details, and autumnal tones. Statement accessories and innovative fabrics highlighted individuality, positioning it as a hub for contemporary luxury.
Buttonscarves (UAE): Unveiled Lucent Dusk, a luxury modest fashion collection in muted palettes with satin, jacquard, tweed, cotton, and organza. Intricate beadwork and oversized bags defined the looks, focusing on elegant, versatile hijabs and abayas that blend tradition with modern wearability.

Jasper Conran London (UK): Showcased SS25 (bridging to SS26) with timeless elegance—tailored dresses, bold colors, and sophisticated accessories. Craftsmanship shone in structured gowns and eveningwear, blending British heritage with Dubai’s opulent vibe for red-carpet appeal.
Tara Babylon (Iraq/UK): Debuted SS26 ready-to-wear with cultural storytelling, featuring hand-painted florals, watercolor prints in Middle Eastern blues, and a couture capsule with Babylonian embroidery. Themes of heritage and femininity were evident in flowing kaftans and embroidered jackets, celebrating ancient motifs in modern contexts.
FAD Institute (UAE, Emerging Talents): Closed with an inspiring runway of over 20 budding designers’ innovative ready-to-wear and prêt-à-porter. Collections explored heritage (e.g., embroidered Arabesque patterns), architecture (geometric structures), and surrealism (asymmetrical forms), using experimental techniques like 3D printing and upcycled fabrics. Standouts included sustainable pieces from UAE-based talents, signaling the next generation of Middle Eastern fashion.

This day underscored sustainability, with 50% of collections incorporating eco-materials, aligning with Dubai’s net-zero goals.

Day Six: Theatrical Closure and Cultural Storytelling (September 6, 2025)

The final day featured four high-energy shows, focusing on empowerment, avant-garde playfulness, and East-West dialogues, attracting international press and buyers. Les Benjamins’ show generated the most social media traction, closing the week with a cultural crescendo.

Lili Blanc (Spain/UAE): Opened with She Boss Aura, honoring women’s independence through structured yet fluid designs in crepe, silk, organza, and mikado, contrasted with sequins, denim, and vegan leather in black, off-white, silver, pink, and deep blue, emphasizing modern boss-lady elegance.

Emergency Room (Lebanon): Collaborated with Timberland for SS25, reimagining classics like the Original Yellow Boot with an urban edge, utilizing leather and suede with streetwear accents to promote sustainable, versatile footwear.
Les Benjamins (Turkey/UAE): Closed with El Gringo, a streetwear masterpiece that explores East-West cultural exchange from a Near Eastern perspective in Mexico. Inspired by proto-Turkish migrations, Frida Kahlo, and Chavela Vargas, the collection featured geometric patterns that linked Anatolian kilims and Navajo blankets, along with relaxed trousers, fringed jackets, and beadwork in desert palm and galaxy blue. The VEyasin soundtrack blended hip-hop and Anatolian funk, amplifying themes of migration and identity.

Day Six secured $2 million in export deals for Les Benjamins, contributing to DFW’s economic impact of over $100 million.

Designer Heels & Elegant Footwear: Comfort Comparison Guide for 2025

Searching for heels that turn heads without torturing your feet? In 2025, comfort isn’t just a trend — it’s the new luxury standard. The smartest names in footwear, from Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo to Sarah Flint, are reinventing stilettos and pumps with plush padding, anatomical arches, and health-conscious engineering that supports you from day to night. It’s like  “red carpet glam” has finally blended with “all-day wearability.”

Why Comfort Matters in Designer Heels

High heels have always been more than footwear — they’re symbols of power, glamour, and confidence. For decades, though, style often came with a price: sore arches, blisters, and the unspoken rule of “no pain, no gain.” Fast-forward to 2025, and that mindset is officially passé. Comfort is no longer optional; it’s a design imperative. Podiatrists warn that poorly designed heels can lead to long-term issues, such as joint strain and posture problems. Luxury brands have taken note, introducing innovations such as memory foam insoles, flared heels for added stability, and wide toe boxes that respect the natural shape of the foot.

This guide brings you the best of both worlds — expert reviews, health advice, and real-world wear tests — so you can choose designer heels that deliver on style, comfort, and versatility. Step out taller, shine brighter, and most importantly, stride confidently without compromise.

Bold Platforms: Cult Gaia and Amina Muaddi lead with sculptural platforms.
Kitten Heels: Chanel and Magda Butrym revive low heels for chic comfort.

How to Choose the Perfect Designer Heel: Quick Tips

Consider the Occasion – Boardroom, bridal aisle, or dance floor? Match your heel to the mood. Pumps nail workdays and formal events; stilettos or platforms bring drama to nights out; wedges win for daytime elegance.
Heel Height – Decide between comfort and statement. Under 3 inches keeps you moving all day; higher heels are for short bursts of glamour. And never underestimate the quiet power of a kitten heel.
Foot Shape & Support – Sensitive arches? Platforms and wedges ease the pressure. Pumps offer balanced support with timeless style.
The Walk Test – Don’t just try them on—take a spin on carpet, tile, and wood floors. A heel that can’t handle real life isn’t worth the closet space.
Lifestyle Match – For a schedule that never stops, choose heels that can keep pace without killing your feet. If your calendar leans toward occasional glam, go ahead—embrace the skyscraper stiletto.
Personal Confidence – The most powerful heel is the one that makes you stand taller—literally and emotionally.
Seasonal Sense – Breathable sandals for balmy days, elegant boots for winter chic. Material matters as much as style.
Budget & Smart Shopping – Want your dream heel without the high-end retail price? The Luxury Closet offers authenticated pre-owned designer heels from the world’s most coveted brands—luxury you love, minus the markup.

Actionable Tips:

Test shoes in the late afternoon (your feet swell throughout the day).
Use cushioned inserts or gel pads for extra comfort.
Rotate heel types — mix stilettos with block or wedge heels for extended wear.
Listen to your body: If your feet feel sore, switch to lower heels or well-made flats.

Lab Grown Diamonds in 2025: The Ethical Sparkle

Lab Grown Diamonds in 2025: The Ethical Sparkle

Imagine a gem that glows with the same hypnotic fire as one born in the Earth’s depths over billions of years—yet crafted in just a matter of weeks with human brilliance and cutting-edge science.

Lab-grown diamonds are no longer the understudy to their mined counterparts, not an alternative—but a revolution. Human intelligence has finally blended sustainability with sophistication. As we step into 2025, more buyers are choosing them not only for their affordability and size freedom but also for their minimal environmental impact and conflict-free origins.

Time to dive deep into the latest trends, backed by fresh data and expert insights, to help you decide if lab-grown diamonds are right for you. Whether you’re shopping for an engagement ring or a statement piece, we’ll explore the facts, bust myths, and guide you on where to find the best options—especially in Dubai.

Lab-grown diamonds, also known as lab-created or synthetic diamonds, are genuine diamonds produced in controlled laboratory environments using advanced technologies like High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) or Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD). These methods replicate the natural formation process, resulting in stones that are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. Both are composed of pure carbon arranged in a crystal lattice, often achieving high purity levels such as Type IIa, which is rarer in nature but more common in labs due to precise control.

Trusted agencies like the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) confirm this equivalence, stating that lab-grown diamonds share the same properties as natural ones. Similarly, the International Gemological Institute (IGI) grades them using the identical 4Cs (cut, color, clarity, carat) framework applied to natural diamonds, ensuring authenticity and quality.

Busting Common Myths About Lab-Grown Diamonds

Despite their rising popularity, misconceptions persist. Let’s address five key myths with facts grounded in science and industry expertise:

Myth: Lab-grown diamonds are fake or like cubic zirconia. Reality: Unlike simulants such as cubic zirconia (made of zirconium dioxide), lab-grown diamonds are 100% real diamonds with the same carbon-based composition. They score a perfect 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, just like natural diamonds. GIA emphasizes that only specialized equipment can distinguish them, as they are indistinguishable to the naked eye.

Myth: Lab-grown diamonds lack durability or brilliance. Reality: They exhibit the same sparkle, fire, and longevity as natural diamonds. In fact, many lab-grown stones achieve higher clarity grades (e.g., VVS or flawless) because labs minimize inclusions. IGI notes that they are just as durable and will not fade or lose brilliance over time.

Myth: Lab-grown diamonds have no value or can’t be resold. Reality: While resale values are currently lower than natural diamonds (due to abundant supply), demand is growing. Market analysts predict appreciation as adoption increases, with brands like Pandora and Tiffany & Co. normalizing them in high-end jewelry. They can be certified and insured like natural stones.

Myth: All lab-grown diamonds are environmentally perfect. Reality: Production requires energy, but it’s significantly less impactful than mining, which disrupts ecosystems and emits high CO2. The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) promotes standards like the Laboratory Grown Material Standard (LGMS) to ensure sustainable practices, and some producers use renewable energy for near-zero emissions.

Myth: Lab-grown diamonds can’t be customized or colored. Reality: Labs offer greater flexibility, producing rare colors like orange, pink or blue without treatments. This customizability is a key advantage, as noted by industry experts.

The Booming Market: Latest Figures for 2025

The lab-grown diamond market is exploding, driven by consumer demand for ethical and affordable luxury. In 2025, the global market size is estimated at around USD 29.73 billion, up from USD 27.24 billion in 2024, with projections to reach USD 97.85 billion by 2034 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 11.77%. This growth outpaces natural diamonds, fueled by technological advancements and shifting preferences among millennials and Gen Z.

For context, the overall diamond jewelry market is valued at USD 356.04 billion in 2024 and expected to hit USD 478.81 billion by 2030. Lab-grown diamonds now capture about 20% of the market, a figure expected to rise as production scales. Bain & Company reports highlight this shift, noting increased adoption in fine jewelry.

With growing awareness around climate impact, lab-grown diamonds are winning favor among conscious buyers as the smarter option, cutting carbon emissions by 50–90% while keeping the sparkle intact.

Expert Endorsements: Trusted Voices Vouching for Lab-Grown

Leading gemologists and agencies are championing lab-grown diamonds for their quality and ethics. Tom Moses, GIA’s executive vice president and chief laboratory and research officer, states: “Similar to other man-made gem materials, we anticipate the continued acceptance and popularity of laboratory-grown diamonds.” He adds that over 95% of lab-grown diamonds fall into a narrow high-quality range for color and clarity, making them consistently superior in some aspects.

IGI, the world’s first institute to grade lab-grown diamonds, endorses them as real diamonds with identical properties, recommending certification for authenticity.

The RJC supports their sustainability through dedicated standards. At the same time, the Kimberley Process has improved natural diamond ethics by certifying 99.8% of global trade as conflict-free—yet lab-grown options eliminate any risk entirely.

Price Comparison: Lab-Grown vs. Natural Diamonds

Affordability remains a major draw. Natural diamonds may appreciate over time due to scarcity, but lab-grown diamonds are gaining resale traction as markets mature.
