6 Luxury Watch Complications That Actually Serve a Purpose

6 Luxury Watch Complications That Actually Serve a Purpose

In the rarefied world of haute horlogerie, complications – functions beyond simple time-telling – often serve as statements of technical prowess rather than practical tools. Many collectors prize these mechanical marvels primarily for their craftsmanship, with functionality being secondary.

However, certain complications transcend mere horological showmanship to offer genuine utility in today’s world. Here are the luxury watch complications that combine mechanical artistry with practical purpose, making them worth the premium they command.

1. Annual Calendar

What it does: The annual calendar automatically adjusts for months with 30 or 31 days, requiring manual correction only once per year (on March 1st, following February). It displays the day, date, and month, maintaining accuracy through the calendar year with minimal intervention.

Why it’s genuinely useful: In our digital age, maintaining awareness of date contexts remains surprisingly valuable. An annual calendar provides this information at a glance while requiring adjustment just once annually – a significant improvement over the standard date function needing correction five times yearly. For the business professional tracking fiscal quarters or the frequent traveler crossing time zones, this complication offers continuous orientation without the prohibitive cost of a perpetual calendar.

Standout example: Patek Philippe Ref. 5396 Annual Calendar combines classical aesthetics with practical functionality. Its balanced dial arrangement places day and month in apertures at 12 o’clock, with the date positioned at 6 o’clock.

Investment consideration: Annual calendars occupy a sweet spot in the complications hierarchy – offering 80% of a perpetual calendar’s functionality at roughly 40% of the price while demonstrating serious horological commitment.

2. GMT/Dual Time

What it does: GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) or dual time complications display two time zones simultaneously, typically with an additional hand circling the dial once every 24 hours. True GMT functions allow independent adjustment of the hour hand when changing time zones without stopping the watch.

Why it’s genuinely useful: In our globally connected world, awareness of alternative time zones proves essential – whether for international business, connecting with distant family, or simply avoiding the faux pas of calling colleagues at inappropriate hours. Unlike digital alternatives, a mechanical GMT provides this information without requiring battery power or menu navigation, always visible at a glance.

Standout example: The Rolex GMT-Master II represents the definitive traveler’s watch. Its independently adjustable hour hand facilitates changing local time without affecting the 24-hour GMT hand, while the bi-color ceramic bezel provides intuitive day/night reference. Its robust construction ensure it handles travel rigors with ease.

Investment consideration: GMT complications offer exceptional value, delivering tangible utility without extreme price premiums. The functionality-to-cost ratio makes these among the most rational luxury watch investments.

3. Chronograph

What it does: A chronograph functions as a built-in stopwatch, measuring elapsed time independently from regular timekeeping. Typically operated via pushers, it can be started, stopped, and reset without affecting the main time display.

Why it’s genuinely useful: Despite smartphone ubiquity, having immediate timing capability on your wrist offers practical convenience – whether timing presentations, parking meters, cooking intervals, or fitness activities. The mechanical chronograph delivers this functionality with tactile satisfaction digital alternatives cannot match, while the analog display provides intuitive visualization of elapsed time.

Standout example: Omega Speedmaster Professional “Moonwatch” has proved its utility in the most extreme environment – outer space. Its manual-winding movement offers reliability through simplicity, while the tachymeter bezel enables practical calculations of speed or production rates. The tri-register layout provides elapsed hours, minutes, and running seconds in a balanced presentation.

Investment consideration: Chronographs often represent excellent value propositions in luxury watchmaking, offering mechanical complexity and tactile interaction without commanding the premiums of calendar complications. Their practical utility helps justify their presence in a collection.

4. Slide Rule Bezel

What it does: This analog computer wrapped around the dial enables a remarkable range of calculations -multiplication, division, unit conversion, fuel consumption, navigation calculations, and more – through the relationship between two logarithmic scales.

Why it’s genuinely useful: While smartphones have obviated most calculation needs, the slide rule bezel offers something digital tools cannot: unmediated mathematical relationship visualization. For professionals in aviation, engineering, or scientific fields, this provides both practical backup capability and deeper intuitive understanding of numerical relationships. The independence from batteries or connectivity offers reliability in critical situations.

Standout example: Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 combines the slide rule with chronograph functionality, creating a comprehensive tool for aviators. Its in-house B01 movement provides excellent accuracy and power reserve, while the distinctive circular slide rule maintains the design language established in 1952.

Investment consideration: Slide rule bezels represent specialized tools with genuine heritage, appealing particularly to technically-minded collectors who appreciate functional engineering in mechanical form.

5. Power Reserve Indicator

What it does: This complication displays the remaining energy stored in the mainspring, typically shown on a graduated scale indicating hours of remaining operation before the watch requires winding.

Why it’s genuinely useful: For manually-wound timepieces, this function prevents the inconvenience of an unexpectedly stopped watch by providing advance warning of diminishing power. Even in automatic watches, the indicator helps establish optimal winding patterns and confirms sufficient reserve before removing the watch for periods of non-wear.

Standout example: A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 elevates the power reserve indicator to an integral design element. Its asymmetric dial layout incorporates the UP (AUF)/DOWN (AB) power indicator as a harmonious component of the overall aesthetic while providing clear visibility of the 72-hour reserve status.

Investment consideration: Power reserve indicators add modest cost while delivering tangible utility, making them excellent value within the complications hierarchy. They demonstrate thoughtful engineering without excessive price premiums.

6. Worldtimer

What it does: The worldtimer simultaneously displays the time in all 24 major time zones around the globe, typically via a rotating 24-hour ring working in conjunction with a city disc. At a glance, the wearer can determine the current time anywhere in the world.

Why it’s genuinely useful: For international executives, diplomats, or global citizens maintaining connections across continents, the worldtimer provides immediate temporal context without requiring mental calculations or reference charts. The ability to instantly know whether colleagues in Singapore are at their desks or whether family in Sydney might be available for a call delivers practical utility wrapped in mechanical artistry.

Standout example: Patek Philippe World Time Date 5330G features an opaline gray-blue dial with carbon pattern. This patented model has a date display indexed on local time at the 12 o’clock position and indicated by the center hands.

Investment consideration: Worldtimers combine mechanical complexity with artistic dial work, justifying their premium position. Their specialized appeal to global professionals and travelers helps maintain strong value retention.

Final Thoughts on Luxury Watch Complications

While modern technology has rendered many traditional watch complications functionally redundant, these six examples maintain genuine relevance through their combination of immediate accessibility, independence from power sources, and mechanical beauty. In an age of digital ubiquity, there remains something profoundly satisfying about accessing practical information through ingenious mechanical systems born of centuries of horological development.

These complications justify their premium not merely through craftsmanship, but through the seamless integration of art and function that defines the finest examples of luxury watchmaking. For the discerning collector, complications that serve authentic purposes transform luxury timepieces from mere indulgences into functional tools that enhance daily life.

Sharing is caring!

How to work with Loop Workspaces in Teams Channels

How to work with Loop Workspaces in Teams Channels

I am excited how Microsoft Loop boosts internal collaboration but I have heard that not everyone has been happy to have to manage Loop workspace permissions separately from the Teams project team. Working with externals in a Loop has been also a bit difficult. But now things are taking a step forward! It is possible to add Loop workspaces to team channels! And you know what? These work with guest users too! This feature is now in public preview, so you may not see that yet in your tenant. Either you ask your admin to be part of the First Release / Teams Public Preview or wait until it becomes generally available.

How to add and use Loop workspace in team’s channelLoop Workspace in Teams channel tech specsGuest accessGuests and Loop components in the teamChannel meetings notes and guestsConclusion

It is as easy as adding a tab to the team: click the plus. This works on standard channels only.

A very easy way, is to search for Loop and then select the Loop app to add.

You will get a dialogue to confirm adding Loop.

After clicking Save, you can name your workspace.

The default name is the channel’s name. Feel free to change it. I named it Collab Loop

It will take a few moments, so wait a bit. Don’t open another tab or team, keep the Loop app window open until it finishes.

And then it is there! We have a Loop tab in a channel!

You can work with the Loop normally, the same way as using the Loop app.

If you click on the Loop page name, or actually anywhere in this area showing the Page name

–> the workspace navigation opens.

This navigation stays closed, until you click it open. The idea is to save more collaboration space you as Teams app canvas area is already smaller than using the Loop app.

Looking at the top right Loop menu, you can see you have all the usual Loop features available.

See shared locations

Copy as component

Share

Three-dots …

All but Share work normally. You can get a Page link and copy the page as Loop component normally, but sharing a Workspace is different.

As it is the team membership that defines who has access to the workspace, this Workspace share doesn’t have a purpose. You manage it just like managing team members.

Team owners will be Loop workspace owners, and team members can collaborate in the workspace.

The three-dots menu is also the usual one. But I don’t know if you noticed yet, that it is possible to lock a Loop Page to view only?

Short summary of technical specs regarding Loop Workspaces in Team’s team channels:

Works only on Teams standard channels

There can be only one Loop workspace per team channel. Yes, you can add another Loop tab but it is the same workspace and not a new one.

Each channel will have their own workspace

It is not possible to add existing Loop workspace to team channel ( at least not yet, hopefully so in the future)

Team channel workspace membership is managed by Microsoft 365 Group (= Teams team)

You can access all your workspaces in Teams’ channels in the Loop app too

If a Loop tab is deleted from the channel, the workspace is not deleted

If Loop tab is then added back, the workspace created earlier is added – a new workspace is not created

Loop workspaces in a team are deleted, when the team is deleted

If (when) you delete a Loop Page from the workspace, there isn’t a recycle bin option in Teams, but you can do so in the Loop app. Look to the bottom of the page, in the page list, to see Recycle bin.

In Recycle bin you can see all deleted pages and you can restore them.

Just note, items will be deleted from Recycle bin after 93 days.

Loop workspaces in Teams’ channels also work with guest users. If you have guests in your team, then guests are able to work along with you in workspaces and in Loop components that are stored in team channels!

Let’s test this by inviting Elmeri (our happy demo user) to the test team.

This is not any different than when inviting guests to work with you in a team.

After the guest has accepted the invite, and navigates to the team they can see the Loop workspace tab in the channel.

And when Collab Loop is opened, it takes a while (I have seen tab opening misbehave a few times, but nothing a jump to a different tab and back would not fix) and then the Loop workspace opens.

And the guest user is in, and can start to Loop in, using versatile collaboration features Loop has.

From the host tenant user perspective ( my demo user) , we can see Elmeri has the page open.

❗What is not possible, is to atMention a guest user. That is still missing,

When you add Loop components to the team, guests can collaborate and participate in those too!

Elmeri can edit Loop contents, in the channel conversation just like internal members can.

As long as the loop file is stored in team files, guests can collaborate in it.

Guests can now, the first time, also participate in meeting notes – as long as the meeting is a channel meeting, they are a member of the team and they have joined the meeting with their guest identity (not their home identity).

Let’s see this in action by creating a meeting.

Elmeri (our happy demo guest user) can open the meeting in team channel – and they collaborate in the meeting agenda / notes just like internal users can.

Guest users can collaborate with Notes during the channel meeting, and have full Loop features available to them.

Why this works? Since the channel meeting notes is a Loop component, stored in team files.

Note: guests won’t have access to private scheduled meeting notes, as those notes are stored in organizer’s OneDrive. Only channel meetings allow guest participation. This is now a good moment to think, which of meetings should be channel meetings after all – instead of scheduled “normal” meetings (private meetings).

To me, all this is really exciting! Not only we can use Loop workspaces in Team’s channels which connects Teams team teamwork (sorry, I had to ) with the modern / futuristic Loop capabilities. Directly from within Teams! It is opening a lot of new possibilities for organizations to work better together!

The second reason, why I am so hyped about this, is guest usage. Guests (external project members) can now, finally, collaborate with us (internal project members) in Loop workspaces in an easy way. Guest use has been in the Loop for a year, but it wasn’t this easy to use. And that is not all, as guests can also co-author Teams channel meeting notes with us during the meeting!

What do you think, will you Loop in your Teams channels?

How To Get A Free Castle In Oblivion Remastered

0
How To Get A Free Castle In Oblivion Remastered

At the start of Oblivion Remastered, you might find yourself wanting a place to lay your head or store your precious belongings. Whether you need to level up your character or take some of the load off your inventory, having a dedicated location to call your own is one of the best things you can do in the early part of your journey in Cyrodiil.

While you’ll eventually have the chance to buy a house in Oblivion Remastered, why not forgo the cost of that and simply acquire a free castle instead? Below, you can see how to do just that.

How to acquire Battlehorn Castle in Oblivion Remastered

Battlehorn Castle is at the very end of the Black Road on the western side of Cyrodiil. You can find it just beyond the city of Chorrol, which isn’t a bad place to visit during the early hours of the game.

The location of Battlehorn Castle

If you head around the gates of Chorrol, you’ll stumble upon Battlehorn Castle, which isn’t nearly as impressive as a large city, but it still has some tall walls and a large interior.

However, when you arrive at the exterior of Battlehorn Castle, you’ll get a new quest objective that states enemies are trying to break down the gates of the castle. It’s now your new task to stop the marauders before they can cause too much harm to the Battlehorn soldiers.

The enemies aren’t too difficult to defeat, as there are only a few of them, and some of the other Battlehorn soldiers help you out. Once the marauders have been defeated, open the front gate to the castle and talk to the “Battlehorn Man-At-Arms” inside the castle grounds. The NPC states that through your heroism in saving the castle, you’ve now been awarded the deed to Battlehorn.

Speaking to the Battlehorn Man-At-Arms after the battle
Speaking to the Battlehorn Man-At-Arms after the battle

This means you’re the sole owner of the entire castle and everything it contains. The Man-At-Arms remains at the castle to keep watch over it, and there’s a Blacksmith just inside the castle grounds that will repair your gear (for a fee, still) and acts as a merchant you can sell your weapons and gear to.

As for the rest of the castle, you can head inside the front door and explore a fairly large interior that contains several floors and rooms. You’ll notice, though, that there is a ton of empty space.

How to upgrade Battlehorn Castle

The interior of Battlehorn Castle is extremely barren except for some beds and a dining hall. Fortunately, you can add several large and furnished rooms to the estate that really spruce it up and make it feel like an authentic castle. Unfortunately, it’s going to cost you some gold. A lot of gold.

After receiving the deed to Battlehorn Castle, you get a new quest objective that states you can visit a merchant named Nilphas Omellian in Imperial City to renovate and add new rooms to the castle. Nilphas Omellian can always be found somewhere in the Market District of Imperial City, but usually at the Merchants Inn.

When you speak to Omellian, you can barter with him and view his wares. Immediately, you’ll notice that a majority of the merchant’s wares are Battlehorn Castle upgrade blueprints. These upgrades range from a bedroom to a kitchen to a trophy hall to a wine cellar. While you might be tempted to buy up the whole lot of the blueprints, each one costs a whopping 2,555 gold.

The list of Battlehorn Castle upgradesThe list of Battlehorn Castle upgrades
The list of Battlehorn Castle upgrades

There are nine Battlehorn blueprints the merchant sells, so it’s going to cost you a grand total of just under 23,000 gold to completely renovate the castle. Regardless of how far along you are in Oblivion Remastered, it’s doubtful you have that kind of gold on hand, so you’ll have to pick and choose what upgrades you want over the course of the entire game. Of course, you can also use a console command (if you’re on PC) and get some free gold that way.

When you do decide to purchase a Battlehorn blueprint, you can read it from your inventory, and it’s added to the castle. While you might not think the upgrades are worth the price, they actually are, for the most part.

A description of some of the upgradesA description of some of the upgrades
A description of some of the upgrades

Upgrading different rooms grants you access to a plethora of bonuses. For example, the Battlehorn Training Room spawns a new NPC trainer who lets you practice all forms of combat, while the Battlehorn Library gives you access to a variety of skill books. While you don’t need the upgraded kitchen or wine cellar, even those offer benefits, as they can come with new NPCs that patrol their area of the castle and make life easier for you.

At the very least, Battlehorn Castle is a place for you to sleep, store items, and stay healthy. However, you can turn it into a true palace if you’re willing to spend the gold in Oblivion Remastered. If you’re looking for more answers to your questions, make sure to check out our entire walkthrough of Oblivion Remastered.

Travis Scott’s Late Coachella Set Cost Festival Organizer Goldenvoice $20K

Travis Scott’s Late Coachella Set Cost Festival Organizer Goldenvoice K

    Travis Scott
Lit Coachella Set Ran Late …
    And Cost Festival $20,000!!!

    Published April 28, 2025 11:10 AM PDT

Travis Scott’s carefully curated Cactus Jack-themed Coachella didn’t come without a price … the hip hop headliner cost the festival’s organizer $20,000 for squeezing out a few extra minutes!!!

A rep for the city of Indio tells TMZ Hip Hop that Goldenvoice will be charged $20,000 for one night of missing the curfew timeline, on Saturday, April 12, when Travis was on center stage.

It was the only fine issued for Goldenvoice across both Coachella weekends and Stagecoach festival, which went down on April 25 – 27.

City of Indio officials established the fines as part of its contractual agreement with Goldenvoice … which outlines a daily penalty of $20,000 for the first 5 minutes past curfew, with an additional $1,000 added to every tardy minute after.

travis scott coachella performance getty 1

Coachella Festival and Indio initiated their existing contract in 2013, which runs through 2050 … a move to give curfews more wiggle room than in past agreements.

The previous contract called for a midnight curfew on Fridays and Saturdays, and an 11 PM curfew on Sundays.

travis scott coachella performance getty 2

We’re told the fines are collected for Indio’s General Fund, which aids the city’s operating costs, including public works and the police and fire departments.

The rap megastar wasn’t slouching onstage … he started his set at 11:30 PM and premiered two new tracks, “Dumb” and “Kick Out” that could very well pop up on his upcoming label compilation “Jackboys 2” very soon.

You can’t rush greatness — but you can certainly pay for it!!!

Shardeum Empowers Validators and Unveils Autoscaling Mainnet Roadmap

Shardeum Empowers Validators and Unveils Autoscaling Mainnet Roadmap

    In Brief

Shardeum, a Layer-1 blockchain with autoscaling, is set to launch its mainnet in May 2025, focusing on permissionless decentralization, low-cost validator participation, and open-source accessibility.

Shardeum Empowers Validators and Unveils Autoscaling Mainnet Roadmap

Blockchain networks have long struggled with scalability, which affects transaction speed, fees, and general usefulness. In order to maintain network stability, Shardeum, a Layer-1 blockchain designed with autoscaling as a key component, is approaching its phased mainnet rollout starting May 5, 2025. The project is concentrating on permissionless decentralization, low-cost validator participation, and open‑source accessibility as it gets closer to its mainnet launch.

Unlike many Layer-1 networks that require complex hardware setup and high staking thresholds, Shardeum minimizes the financial and technical barriers to running a node. Anyone can spin up a Shardeum node with a single command in under 1 minute on a quad‑core CPU and 16 GB RAM. The 2,400 SHM stake lowers financial barriers, allowing validators from emerging markets to secure the network on equal footing.

The Problem of Scalability and Shardeum’s Unique Approach

The monolithic nature of traditional blockchain networks makes them difficult to scale. As network activity increases, congestion, more costs, and worse performance result from each node having to execute every transaction.

Shardeum addresses these with dynamic state sharding, which enables network resources to change instantly in response to demand. Autoscaling is still a crucial feature, and V1 of Autoscaling is scheduled to go live at the genesis. For developers and validators, Shardeum’s design already guarantees great accessibility, fast transactions with low and predictable fees, delivering the first L1 launch that tackles the blockchain trilemma (scalability, decentralization, and security) from day one.

    Why Become a Validator?

One of Shardeum’s standout features is its permissionless validator design, enabling anyone to contribute to the network using standard hardware and a simple install process. Running a validator takes less than a minute and requires no complex setup or high stake amount.

Shardeum encourages genuine decentralization, in contrast to conventional Layer-1s, where validator operations necessitate costly hardware and large staking amounts.

This drastically lowers the barrier to entry, especially for users in emerging markets – and fosters true decentralization. Validators earn rewards for their role in maintaining the network, with consistent gas fees and no concentration of power in high-stake operators. The network remains fully decentralized, preventing any single entity from controlling a majority of operations. A wide spectrum of people can run a node because it is affordable and doesn’t require expensive hardware. To ensure flexibility and cost, validators can use cloud-hosted solutions or regular hardware setups to operate nodes. For more details, refer to the official validator guide.

A Milestone in the Incentivized Testnet

As of March 2025, Shardeum’s testnet has processed over 81 million transactions, onboarded 1.2 million wallets, and attracted a record-setting 171,000+ physically run validator nodes, the highest ever reported for a Layer 1 testnet.

This community-led momentum culminated in over 52,000 validators actively participating in the Incentivized Testnet (ITN), “Atomium,” which processed 60 million transactions across four stages. This high degree of involvement demonstrates the community’s trust as well as the network’s usability.

Security is still of utmost importance. In order to provide researchers who find vulnerabilities with bounties of up to $1 million, the network has teamed with Immunefi to operate bug bounty programs. These initiatives guarantee that possible risks are handled effectively before the mainnet’s launch. The entire codebase is open source (60+ GitHub repositories, 32,000 stars), encouraging continuous peer review.

    Implications for Developers

As the mainnet launch approaches, Shardeum continues to focus on developer onboarding and ecosystem growth.  While smart contract functionality will not be live at the initial launch, Shardeum’s architecture is designed for full EVM compatibility, which will be introduced in subsequent phases of the mainnet rollout in Q3 2025. Predictable gas fees and a scalable infrastructure offer a stable foundation for building in areas like DeFi, gaming, and tooling.

With a frictionless validator experience, proven autoscaling, and unmatched community momentum, Shardeum positions itself to redefine what a decentralized Layer‑1 can achieve when the mainnet goes live on 5 May 2025.

Celeb Colorist Bianca Hillier’s Summer Hair Inspo Is the Olsen Twins

      0
Celeb Colorist Bianca Hillier’s Summer Hair Inspo Is the Olsen Twins

Color your life with good hair! Celebrity colorist Bianca Hillier sat down with ET to share the hues you should be trying out this summer.

For starters, the queen of balayage, who has worked with Sofia Richie, Whitney Port, Meadow Walker, and more It-girls, says the natural-looking highlight trend is here to stay.

“Balayage is a French word that means sweeping, so think of it as me painting chemicals onto the hair in a fluid pattern according to where it falls,” she explains.

      Bianca Hillier/Instagram

Hillier’s specific technique? “I begin my formulation process with the desired results and starting color. … From there, I inspect the clients’ skin and eye color to determine the correct tone, which is created by acknowledging how dark the natural hair is and how light I would like the highlights at the scalp and tips to be. … I use cotton as a divider to prevent bleach spots, and since the cotton does not conduct heat like foils and saran wrap do, it allows the chemicals to process at a formulated pace.”

This method also creates the perfect soft, natural, and sun kissed ‘do that will grow out flawlessly as the weather heats up.

“Anyone can be a balayage candidate, especially people who want low maintenance upkeep,” she notes.

When it comes to hair inspiration, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are always at the top of Hillier’s list.

      Getty Images

“The Olsen twins are iconic, and their hair will forever be. Blonde with high contrast yet still maintaining a bit of a grunge for less maintenance will always be a staple. … It’s all about looking effortless and organic.”

If you’re looking for a more obvious change, the Andy LeCompte salon hair expert suggests adding a pop of pink.

“We are entering a pastel era where faded pink looks chicer and grungier. Keeping the pinks in the pastel zone allow for a temporary change and less commitment,” she spills.

Once you’ve nailed the perfect shade, maintaining your luscious locks is key.

“To elongate color, use a proper sulfate-free shampoo and the Maria Nila color refresh mask once a week. … I also always recommend using a heat protectant to prevent damage or fading and getting regular trims to ensure that all of the dry ends are cut off,” the hair artist advises.

As for what you should never do: “Wearing your hair ties too tight can cause tension on the hair, which leads to hair loss and breakage. … Flat irons without heat adjusters will absolutely kill the hair, and not using a proper brush with bristles for your hair type is a tragedy. Finally, at home color is the absolute worst thing anyone could do to their hair! It is diabolical!”

FIL Eyes 80% Rally, ADA Prepares for Breakout, and BlockDAG’s 25% Referral Bonus

Is the next big crypto breakout already happening while most are still asleep? Filecoin (FIL) Breakout is flashing a 60-80% upside after breaking out of a falling wedge, and Cardano (ADA) Price Prediction points to a critical liquidity sweep that could spark a major rally. With altcoins heating up again, a new opportunity is stealing attention fast, BlockDAG.

BlockDAG‘s presale is closing soon, and they’ve just unleashed what could be the biggest shortcut to serious gains. Prices are rolled back to a rock-bottom $0.0025, and a 25% referral bonus has just gone live. This is the moment to stack BDAG like a whale while it’s still early. With BDAG expected to reach $1, those who leverage the bonus now could lock in life-changing upside. If you want a shot at the highest roi crypto before the market catches on, this is it.

Stack BDAG Like a Whale Before the Big Move

BlockDAG’s presale is reaching its final stages, and time is running out to grab BDAG coins at just $0.0025. After raising over $219.5 million and selling nearly 19.4 billion coins, BlockDAG has pulled off one of the most successful crypto launches of the year. With early-stage buyers already sitting on huge paper gains, the window to load up before the mainnet launch is almost closed. If you’re looking for the highest roi crypto, BlockDAG is putting that chance right in front of you.

Adding to the excitement, BlockDAG has launched a 25% referral bonus. Every time someone buys using your unique link, you earn 25% of their purchase value in BDAG, and they get a 5% bonus too. There’s no cap on earnings, meaning you could stack a whale-sized bag without even buying more yourself. While others wait for listings and FOMO in later, early movers are already building serious positions.

Stack BDAG Like a Whale Before the Big Move

The presale rollback to $0.0025 isn’t just a discount, it’s a setup for the next big leap. BlockDAG is forecasted by analysts to shoot toward $1 after its mainnet goes live, which would make this one of the highest roi crypto plays available right now. From its hybrid DAG and PoW architecture to its 15,000 TPS scaling target, BlockDAG isn’t just hype; it’s engineered for real adoption.

With the presale nearing its close and the 25% referral bonus in full swing, the path is clear. Stack now, refer smart, and when the market catches up, you could be sitting on a fortune built at $0.0025.

Filecoin (FIL) Breakout Targets 80% Rally

Filecoin (FIL) Breakout is lighting up the charts after pushing out of a falling wedge pattern, a setup that often signals strong bullish reversals. Analysts now expect FIL to rally between 60–80%, aiming for the $4.66–$5.24 range. The current price of around $2.91, just above the critical $2.50 support, shows that momentum is starting to build. Holding above $3.20 is key to confirming the move, and if the trend holds, early buyers could catch a major breakout.

Beyond the technicals, fundamentals are helping push the Filecoin (FIL) Breakout story even further. Institutional interest is growing, and Filecoin’s move to integrate smart contracts through its Virtual Machine has added fresh utility to the network. As storage solutions become more important in blockchain infrastructure, Filecoin is positioning itself for real-world adoption. With bullish signals flashing and the broader market heating up, FIL is becoming one of the altcoins to watch closely right now.

Cardano (ADA) Price Prediction Signals Big Moves Ahead

The Cardano (ADA) Price Prediction for May 2025 is shaping up around a major liquidity setup. On the weekly chart, ADA is still holding a bullish structure, but equal lows sitting just underneath could act like a magnet before the next big push. If price dips into this liquidity and bounces off the strong demand zone spotted on the H4 chart, ADA could launch a powerful move upward. Watching how price reacts around the $0.42–$0.45 zone will be critical in the short term.

Zooming in on the daily chart, a key supply zone formed by a sharp manipulation move is now coming into play. If ADA can clear this level with strong volume, the next leg higher could follow fast. The Cardano (ADA) Price Prediction depends heavily on whether liquidity is cleared and support holds. With fundamentals like partnerships and active development still strong, ADA is setting up for a big decision point that could shape its next rally.

      Key Insights

Filecoin (FIL) Breakout is flashing a bullish setup that could lift prices by up to 80%, with smart contract upgrades adding to its momentum. Meanwhile, the Cardano (ADA) Price Prediction for May 2025 shows ADA setting up for a major liquidity sweep before a potential rally, keeping it on every trader’s watchlist. Both coins are showing strong technical setups, but the real game-changer right now is BlockDAG.

With the presale closing fast, BlockDAG’s $0.0025 pricing and 25% referral bonus are setting the stage for early buyers to stack big before the crowd. Predictions of BDAG soaring to $1 make it one of the easiest highest roi crypto plays available. Stack your BDAG bag like a whale now, use the bonus to supercharge your holdings, and position yourself for life-changing upside. When the market catches on, those who moved early could be sitting on fortunes built at presale prices.

Fresh tragedy as RuPaul’s Drag Race star dies aged 44, weeks after having leg amputated

The world of drag and entertainment is mourning today as RuPaul’s Drag Race star Jiggly Caliente has tragically died at the age of 44, just weeks after undergoing a major health battle that led to the amputation of her right leg.

The devastating news was confirmed by Jiggly’s family in a heartfelt statement posted to Instagram yesterday (Sunday, April 27).

RuPaul’s Drag Race star Jiggly Caliente passes away

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Bianca Castro-Arebejo, known to the world and cherished by many as Jiggly Caliente,” the tribute read.

“Bianca passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at 4:42 am, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.”

The statement continued: “A luminous presence in the worlds of entertainment and advocacy, Jiggly Caliente was celebrated for her infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity.

Her legacy is one of love, courage, and light. Though her physical presence is gone, the joy she shared and the space she helped create for so many will remain forever. She will be deeply missed, always loved, and eternally remembered.”

Jiggly became a fan favourite after competing on season four of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2011. She placed eighth after being eliminated by fellow drag queen Willam in a lip sync.

        ‘Fly high, diva’

Following the news, heartbroken fans, friends, and fellow queens have been paying tribute to the star.

“I love u so much, babes,” Thai drag queen Pangina Heals wrote. “Thank you for your friendship. You always make me laugh and lit up every room. Your laugh is my favourite and I will always cherish you.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Ella Vaday added: “Omg so sad, always so sweet to me. Rest in Power, girl.”

“Jiggly. You were truly one of a kind, and I’m going to miss you deeply,” Season 10 runner-up Shea Coulee also commented. “Rest in power, sister. Grateful that the RuGirls have one more angel now.”

“Always a beautiful, friendly spirit, before Drag Race, during and after,” drag queen Shangela echoed. “What a blessing it’s been to have u as a sister in this journey of life. Fly high, diva.”

        Recent health struggles

Jiggly’s passing comes just days after her family shared that she had suffered a serious health setback, resulting in the loss of most of her right leg due to a severe infection.

In a statement posted earlier this month, her family explained: “Over the last month, Bianca experienced a serious health setback. Due to a severe infection, she was hospitalised and, as a result, has undergone the loss of most of her right leg.

Because of these circumstances, Bianca will not be appearing in the upcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines. Nor will she be participating in any public engagements for the foreseeable future.”

Jiggly’s career spanned far beyond the Drag Race runway.

After her 2011 appearance, she also starred in the season-two finale of Broad City in 2015 and was one of thirty queens featured in Miley Cyrus’s VMA performance that same year.

In 2021, she returned to the Drag Race universe, appearing on All Stars Season 6. Jiggly later made history as a main judge on Drag Race Philippines when it premiered in August 2022.

Jiggly is the second RuPaul’s Drag Race star to pass away this year. In January, Drag Race UK season one winner The Vivienne tragically passed away from an overdose.
