Millie Bobby Brown Claps Back at Haters Criticizing Her Beauty

Millie Bobby Brown doesn’t care for beauty criticism.

Brown, 20, kindly clapped back at internet trolls who claimed she looked older than her age via Instagram on Wednesday, January 1. “Women grow!!” she wrote in a since expired Instagram story, per Page Six. “Not sorry about it :).”

Brown’s comment came days after she pursed her lips and accentuated her cheekbones in a cute mirror selfie while showing off a colorful Louis Vuitton purse. Brown completed her look with even more color, rocking a floral frock featuring thick straps and a square neckline.

For glam, the Stranger Things star showed off her natural curls, which she pushed over to one side of her head. She donned soft makeup including extra rosy cheeks, manicured eyebrows, a touch of mascara and bright pink lips.

“Me and my mini,” Brown captioned the post.

Online trolls were quick to share their thoughts on Brown’s mirror selfie, writing, “She skipped 20s & went straight into 40’s.” A second agreed, “She looks way older.”

While some followers critiqued Brown’s selfie, others stood up for the Florence by Mills founder.

“The amount of people who can’t tell she’s just pursing her lips and sucking her cheeks is killing me😭,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Millie, you are beautiful and wonderful, so don’t worry about the hate!!💗.”

Brown shared another chic selfie via Instagram on Thursday, January 2. In the snap, she rocked an elegant Staud dress featuring a black pearl neckline and a silky silhouette. Brown elevated the piece with diamond earrings and a matching bracelet.

Brown teamed her outfit with a full beat, including lined lips, blushed cheeks and long lashes. Her tresses parted down the middle and straightened.

Yes, Sydney has reached the level of fame where people where regular people can become worldwide trending topics just by putting in a cameo on her page.

Not only does Ms. Sweeney have over 23 million followers, but she knows how to post the kind of content that attracts attention.

In her latest carousel, for example, Sydney starts by posing on a jet ski in a bikini. And she closes with a photo that shows her locking lips with Jonathan.

“The last few days of 2024 will forever be some of my favorite,” she captioned the collection.

Sydney, of course, has amassed quite an army of admirers, and some of them were openly upset at the reminder that she’s betrothed.

“Can’t believe she’d post the last pic of us without even asking smh,” wrote one such jilted follower.

Needless to say, quite a few people are suddenly very interested in Jonathan. But unfortunately, for both the diehard fans and the jealous haters, he tends to keep a pretty low profile.

Who Is Sydney Sweeney’s Fiance?

Here’s what we know about Jonathan at this point:

He and Sydney started dating in 2018, and despite widespread rumors to the contrary, he is neither a restaurant owner nor the heir to a vast pizza empire.

“He’s not a restaurateur,” Sydney recently told Glamour UK.

“I have no idea where that came from. He’s also not the heir of a pizza company. He’s a business guy. He’s from Chicago. We’ve been watching [this narrative] for six years now and I’m like, ‘What the hell?’”

In 2023, Sydney told Entertainment Weekly that she’s been “too busy” to plan her wedding, which makes sense.

She does, after all, maintain a very hectic work schedule. But we expect that these two will tie the knot sometime soon, as Sydney says she can’t wait to start a family.

“I think about having four kids,” she told Glamour UK.

“I dream of teaching them how to ski when they’re little and having them follow me around on adventures, taking them on hikes, teaching them how to build tree houses, just living through their imagination. That’s something I really, really look forward to.”

Why MicroStrategy Shares Have Tanked 45% Despite Billions in Bitcoin Buys – Decrypt

One of the hottest Bitcoin trades in 2024 is slumping into the New Year.

As of Thursday, MicroStrategy’s share price had fallen 45% from its November peak—sliding to $300 from a record price of $543 around six weeks ago.

The Tysons, Virginia-based software firm went gangbusters on Bitcoin last year, purchasing billions of dollars worth of the cryptocurrency using equity and debt. On Monday, the company topped off its stash of 446,400 Bitcoin, worth $43 billion, with a $200 million Bitcoin purchase.

Since MicroStrategy’s share price peaked, the Bitcoin-buying behemoth has purchased BTC five different times, yet each purchase has gotten smaller. After purchasing $5.4 billion worth of Bitcoin on Nov. 25, for example, Monday’s buy represented its lightest allocation since August. That was not enough, it turned out, to staunch the stock’s prolonged plunge.

MicroStrategy has solidified its status as the world’s largest corporate holder of Bitcoin—adopting the asset as a novel way to shore up its balance sheet in 2020—but the firm has also garnered attention on Wall Street more recently as a potentially risky leveraged Bitcoin bet.

By issuing $7.3 billion worth of convertible notes, a form of debt that can later be converted into shares, the company has been able to purchase more Bitcoin than it could otherwise. At the same time, the company’s valuation has ballooned past that of its $43 billion Bitcoin holdings, with a current market capitalization of $73.2 billion.

Investors have been paying a premium for Bitcoin exposure when it comes to MicroStrategy’s stock, which currently trades hands at 1.6x that of its Bitcoin holdings according to MSTR Tracker. While investors can get pure Bitcoin exposure through products like spot ETFs or by simply buying the asset itself, that premium hit 3.4x in November.

MicroStrategy’s share price has risen 334% over the past year, outpacing Bitcoin’s 116% climb over the same period. That’s led Bernstein analysts to say MicroStrategy is “building a case” for its premium, alongside a proven ability to increase its Bitcoin holdings per share.

With an implied price of $200,000 per Bitcoin for MicroStrategy shares, however, it appears that “stock investors are no longer willing to prop up MicroStrategy with an inflated” stock price relative to its Bitcoin holdings, 10X Research wrote in a Thursday note.

“The shift underscores a growing rationality among investors who previously bought into the unofficial narrative of MicroStrategy as ‘a leveraged Bitcoin play,’” 10X Research added.

Leveraged investment products, which enable traders to gain greater market exposure to an asset or benchmark, do exist. But as MicroStrategy’s valuation rocketed last year, the company’s value relative to its Bitcoin holdings was flagged by some as unsustainable.

In November, the influential investment firm Citron Research unveiled a short position in MicroStrategy, while maintaining a long position in Bitcoin. Citron, which had formerly backed MicroStrategy, said the company had become “completely detached” from Bitcoin fundamentals.

Despite rumblings about MicroStrategy’s premium, the firm was added to the Nasdaq-100 last month, finding a new place within the stock market index tracking top tech companies. Analysts have said that the move could result in billions of dollars flowing into MicroStrategy’s stock.

MicroStrategy’s inclusion in the index was lauded by Bitcoin enthusiasts, who saw the asset’s price peak at $108,000 a handful of days later. Since then, Bitcoin’s price has tumbled 10%, while MicroStrategy’s share price has fallen much further.

Viewers are confident that Armani will be the first Traitor to get caught out during Season 3 of BBC’s The Traitors.

Continuing on last night’s round table, it was revealed at the beginning of the episode that Faithful Nathan had been banished after receiving the most votes. With three Traitors still in the game, Linda, Armani, and Minah later murdered Keith due to being a big character.

Despite Linda originally being in the firing line during episode one, Armani started to pop up on people’s radar during tonight’s (January 2) episode due to her “large and in charge” character. And as far as viewers are concerned, they believe she is going to be the first Traitor to be discovered.

The Traitors Series 3: ‘It’s not looking good for Armani’

“Ohhh dear Armani they’re onto you!” one user wrote.

“Armani is large and in charge it will be her undoing,” another person shared.

“That Armani is SO annoying. Such a big personality bossy boots is dead giveaway,” a fourth remarked.

After Nathan was voted out at the beginning of the episode, Elen became the second Faithful to be banished.

As a result, viewers were gutted with their choice.

“My heart breaks for Elen – I know the feeling too well but there was nothing she could have done differently,” Series 1 star Rayan wrote.

“The mad thing – Elen’s theory about strong female Traitors is right!” another said.

“How can you vote out Elen. Idiots,” a third stated.

“Justice for Elen!!!!!!” a fourth fan declared.

In his recent Men’s Health cover story, the 28-year-old actor revealed his plans for life after acting, including what life change has to happen for him to walk away from the profession.

Spider-Man 2’s New Web Wings Make It Feel Like A Proper Sequel

Acting ever since he auditioned for Billy Elliot: The Musical in London at the age of 11, Holland has spent the vast majority of his life as a web crawler, a schizophrenic, an animated weapons developer, and a world of characters in between. But he has life goals that supersede fighting CGI aliens. “When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore,” he says. “Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.”

He doesn’t give any timeline for when he’ll become a father (who really does?), and he’s already locked in to appear in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Odyssey, the next Spider-Man flick, and the fact-based racing drama American Speed, all set to be released in 2026. That could make 2026 as good a time as any for a swan song.

Time has also begun showing its effects on the actor, who Spider-Man director Jon Watts says once did a full standing backflip in his audition for the superhero role that changed his life. Holland says he successfully did the same backflip recently, but this time he pulled every muscle in his stomach and “could not laugh because my stomach was so sore” for weeks. That sort of pain is enough to make anyone rethink their career.

As one of the most important superhero actors of a generation nears the age of 30, it might be a good time to binge your favorite Holland films before there’s no more to go around.

EastEnders: As Nish Panesar finally dies, all the other deaths rumoured ahead of the 40th anniversary

Tonight’s episode of EastEnders (Thursday, January 2) saw Nish Panesar finally die, and this time his death was for good.

After Nish was pushed off a balcony by Ravi, he was confirmed dead by police as forensics flooded the scene.

But, as Nish becomes the latest Walford resident to die, will other follow him as the soap’s 40th anniversary looms?

Nish Panesar’s death in EastEnders

This New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1), Suki and Eve’s wedding took place but Nish (who was still alive but having everyone believe he was dead) wanted to make it a day to remember… for the wrong reasons.

As the happy couple were saying their wedding vows, Nish turned up outside of the venue but was stopped by his sons – Ravi and Vinny.

The pair tried to make sure that Nish didn’t do anything to stop the wedding, but Ravi soon left Vinny to mind Nish alone after hearing that Denise was in trouble.

Nish of course managed to escape from Vinny’s observation and snuck into the hotel after the wedding was finished. He’d slipped poison into Eve’s glass and she soon collapsed to the ground, struggling to breathe after having a drink.

Nish then emerged behind Suki and had it out with her on the balcony. Ravi didn’t realise that Nish was holding onto Suki’s clothes and pushed Nish over the edge, with Suki catapulting down with him.

Suki survived the ordeal after landing on top of Nish, but forensics later confirmed that Nish had lost his life. For good, this time.

With the year only having just kicked off, and with one death already under the soap’s belt, we can expect more lives to be lost as the soap’s 40th anniversary looms.

And, there have been a few deaths rumoured and suspected by fans. The name at the top of this list is Martin Fowler. Martin’s recently been thrown into a love triangle storyline with Ruby and Stacey, as well as having a recent operation to save his sick son. But could he be the next to die?

Also on the list of potential deaths, fans have put Cindy Beale up there. Given that she’s currently in a coma after someone hit her on the head with a shovel… this one looks worryingly likely.

Other names have included Suki, Eve, Bianca, Priya, Vinny, Nugget and Phil Mitchell. Big twists and turns are expected during the coming months, but will everyone live through it all?

Forget the moon, an alleged GTA 6 leak might have revealed what the bins at Rockstar looked like about three years ago

Yep, you’ve read the headline, this is serious stuff. Someone claims to have posted some images taken in a Rockstar office of GTA 6 playing on a monitor to Reddit, and it might have shown us what the developer’s bins looked like back in 2021. That’s assuming it’s actually genuine, of course.

The alleged leaked photo is the latest thing which have driven the hardcore Rockstar community into overdrive, after a lot of them spent the tail end of last month getting very animated about moons, playlists, and the number 27.

As spotted by Eurogamer, the leak was first posted to the GTA 6 subreddit by a user with the handle JustLovett0. The post, titled “a photo from mid-2021. I think it’s been long enough I can post this”, has since been locked and removed, but subsquently uploaded in a bunch of other places.

“Someone I am close to took it when they worked at the Rockstar office for a few months,” the poster claimed, adding that said mystery person is “super far from Rockstar now”. So, what do these snaps they’ve seemigly risked a lot to show the world actually reveal about GTA 6, assuming they’re real?

Well, pretty much nothing about GTA 6, given all we’ve got is an alleged shot of it playing on a monitor that just shows Lucia standing about next to a wall, some blue shipping containers, and a few palm trees. Standing about in the vicinity of some things potentially confirmed as a GTA 6 feature, don’t everyone cheer at once.

Aside from that, unless you’re interested in doing some detective work to try and work out if this is potentially a shot of the interior of Rockstar’s San Diego office, as the layout of the building seems to suggest, or gawk at some dev kits, you’re outta luck.

Hang on a minute, how could we forget the most important detail! Look at that bin under the desk. You’ve never seen a cleaner or more evenly applied liner in your life, and there’s no sign of a build-up of rubbish in the can. Even taking into account that it’s potentially bin day in the photo – meaning the bin may just have been emptied – it’s wonderfully smart. Black bin, white liner, properly formal. A bin you’d not mind allocating a seat at one of the main tables at your wedding.
