Inside Harry Styles’ triple loss after he breaks silence on death of Liam Payne

Harry Styles has opened up about the death of One Direction bandmate Liam Payne for the first time ever. But heartbreakingly, this wasn’t the first loss he has experienced.

Tonight (March 8), Harry’s One Night Only performance from Manchester will be airing on Netflix, giving fans a chance to see the music he has worked on over the last few years – after fans were left fuming at the star recently.

But behind-the-scenes, over the years, Harry has actually been faced with quite a lot of grief, losing a few people close to him.

What did Harry Styles say about death of Liam Payne?

Ahead of his album, Kiss All The Time Disco Occasionally, coming out, Harry spoke to Zane Lowe about creating new music, and what he got up to during his break from the spotlight, which is also when he started dating Hollywood star Zoe Kravitz.

Heartbreakingly, during his break, One Direction star Liam Payne died at 31 years old, after falling from a third-storey hotel balcony in Argentina.

Following his death, each member of One Direction released their own personal statement, and a joint statement. But now, Harry has actually spoken about the heartbreak for the first time.

He told Zane Lowe: “Even the idea of talking about it, I struggle with that a little bit even. I think there was a period when he passed away, where I really struggled with kind of like, acknowledging how strange it is to have people kind of like, own part of grief. I have such strong feelings around my friend passing away.

“And then, suddenly, being aware there’s  a desire from other people of you to convey that in some way, or it means you are not feeling what you’re feeling.”

He went on to explain Liam had the “kindest heart and just wanted to be great”.

Harry heartbreakingly admitted it made him look at his own life, and see what he could be doing differently.

He said: “It was a really important moment for me in terms of taking a look at my life and being able to say to myself ‘Okay, what do I want to do?’ I think the greatest way you can honour your friends who pass away, is by living your life to the fullest.”

    Caroline Flack’s heartbreaking death

Heartbreakingly, years before Liam’s death, TV presenter, Caroline Flack tragically passed away. And during the early years of One Direction, Harry and Caroline were seemingly in a relationship.

In 2011, it’s believed Harry finally got a chance to tell Caroline that he was interested in her, and the pair were then spotted together on dates.

However, the relationship didn’t appear to last too long, as Caroline reportedly ended it just before Christmas of that same year. But the pair remained friends and on good terms.

But in 2020, Caroline Flack tragically died by suicide. While he never spoke about her death publicly, three days after the heartbreak, the BRIT awards took place, and many believe Harry was paying tribute to Caroline through his outfit choice.

He wore a black suit, and had a black ribbon on his lapel, which is a traditional symbol of mourning.

Harry Styles also lost his step-dad

But the first public loss Harry experienced was that of his stepfather, Robin Twist, who passed away aged 57, in 2017, six months after bandmate Louis Tomlinson lost his own mum.

Robin married Harry’s mum, Anne, in 2013, and Harry previously admitted his best man speech was “the most nerve-wracking thing” he has ever done.

From the very beginning of One Direction, Robin would post on social media quite a lot, about his support and how proud he was of Harry.

Again, Harry did not speak out about the devastating death, but his reps did release a statement at the time. It read: “Harry’s stepfather, Robin Twist, sadly passed away this week after a long battle with cancer. The family asks for privacy at this time.”

      What Is a Web3 Wallet?

A web3 wallet is a digital wallet that lets users store, manage, and interact with crypto assets on blockchain networks. Unlike traditional apps on centralized servers, it connects users directly to the decentralized internet.

Most are non-custodial wallets, giving users complete control over their private keys and funds, typically secured with a seed or recovery phrase. Web3 wallets let users sign transactions, interact with smart contracts, and access decentralized applications. Popular examples include MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and Coinbase Wallet.

      Types of web3 wallets

      Custodial wallets

A custodial wallet is a digital wallet in which a third party manages the user’s private keys on their behalf. In this setup, the platform controls access to the crypto assets, usually through accounts stored on centralized servers.

Many large exchanges offer custodial wallets because the setup process for these crypto wallets is easier for beginners. However, users do not have complete control over their digital assets, as the platform holds the keys. If the service is compromised or accounts are restricted, users could temporarily lose access to their funds.

      Non-custodial wallets

A non-custodial wallet gives users full ownership of their private keys and crypto assets. Instead of relying on a company, the wallet stores keys locally in its software or on a physical device (a hardware wallet). This structure allows crypto users to maintain complete control of their funds and interact directly with blockchain networks and decentralized applications.

Access to the wallet is usually protected through a seed phrase or recovery phrase, which allows users to regain access if their device is lost. Many popular web3 wallets, such as MetaMask and Trust Wallet, follow this model.

      Smart wallets

Smart wallets are advanced web3 wallets that use smart contracts to manage access and security. Instead of relying solely on a seed phrase, these wallets can include features such as multi-party computation, spending limits, or social account recovery. This design adds an extra layer of protection for valuable digital assets while making the wallet more flexible.

Many smart wallets support multiple blockchains and connect easily to decentralized applications across the decentralized web. Examples include wallets such as Ready Wallet that focus on improving security and usability in the crypto world.

How We Chose the Best Web3 Wallets

      Security and Custody Type

We looked at whether wallets are custodial or non-custodial and how they protect private keys. Wallets with hardware wallet integration, cold storage, biometric authentication, or multi-party computation scored higher for enhanced security.

      Chain and dApp Compatibility

Support for multiple blockchains and EVM compatibility is crucial. We prioritized wallets that support many decentralized applications and allow users to sign transactions across multiple blockchain networks.

      Ease of Use

A user-friendly interface, smooth setup process, and availability as mobile apps or browser extensions were essential. Wallets that let mobile-first users navigate digital assets easily ranked higher.

      NFT and DeFi Support

You should also consider wallets optimized for NFT collections, DeFi platforms, and in-app swaps. Tools that help authorize transactions, manage valuable digital assets, and interact with smart contracts made

How to Set Up a Web3 Wallet (step-by-step)

      Step 1: Choose Your Wallet

Pick a wallet that fits your needs. Choose non-custodial wallets for full control, smart wallets for extra security, or mobile apps for convenience. Consider multi-chain support if you plan to interact with several blockchain networks.

      binance-walletbinance-wallet

Step 2: Install and Create a Wallet

Download the wallet software from a trusted source, either as a browser extension or mobile app. Follow the setup process to create a new wallet, which usually involves setting a secure password.

Step 3: Save Your Seed Phrase

After creation, the wallet will provide a seed phrase, also known as a recovery phrase. Write it down and store it securely offline. This phrase is crucial for regaining access if you lose access to your device.

Step 4: Connect to a dApp

Once set up, connect your wallet to decentralized applications. Use the wallet address to authorize transactions, interact with smart contracts, and safely manage your digital assets.

Web3 Wallet Security: How to Stay Safe

Always keep your private keys and seed phrase offline and never share them.Use hardware wallet integration or cold storage to maximize security for valuable digital assets.Enable biometric authentication and two-factor authentication whenever possible.Regularly update your wallet software to protect against vulnerabilities.Only connect your wallet to trusted decentralized applications and verify smart contracts before signing transactions.Avoid storing large amounts of crypto in hot wallets; keep only what you actively use.Backup your recovery phrase in a secure location to regain access if your device is lost.

While these platforms go the extra mile to ensure the safety of user funds and details, it is advisable to always take independent measures to safeguard your funds. Hence, here is a comprehensive guide containing insights on how to secure your cryptocurrency.

      Conclusion

Choosing the right web3 wallet depends on your crypto journey, security needs, and how you interact with the decentralized web. Non-custodial wallets offer complete control, smart wallets add extra layers of protection, and hardware wallets provide maximum security for long-term holdings.

Always consider multi-chain support, ease of use, and compatibility with decentralized applications when selecting a wallet. By following best practices for wallet security, you can safely manage your digital assets and explore the decentralized internet with confidence.

NurseBee Launches Public Raise on Wefunder to Transform Healthcare Staffing | Web3Wire

Dallas, TX, March 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — NurseBee, a modern healthcare staffing platform designed to stabilize an increasingly strained clinical workforce, today announced the launch of its public fundraising campaign on Wefunder. The offering enables nurses, healthcare leaders, and mission-aligned supporters to invest directly in a model built to meet one of the most urgent challenges in the U.S. healthcare system: chronic staffing shortages.

Across the country, both acute-care and long-term care facilities continue to experience ongoing workforce deficits. Recent industry reports show that 53 percent of healthcare facilities face persistent staffing shortages, while one in three nurses plans to leave bedside care in the coming years. These dual pressures have made it increasingly difficult for hospitals and care centers to maintain consistent coverage, protect the quality of care, and keep pace with patient demand.

NurseBee was created to provide a comprehensive solution to this systemic problem. The company’s platform is designed to offer higher pay and genuine scheduling flexibility for nurses, while delivering faster, more reliable staffing coverage for facilities. By addressing the needs of both sides of the labor equation simultaneously, NurseBee aims to strengthen continuity of care, reduce operational strain, and improve patient outcomes.

“The healthcare workforce is in a period of unprecedented stress, and traditional staffing models are no longer meeting the moment,” said the NurseBee leadership team. “Nurses deserve a more flexible, supportive structure, and facilities require dependable, high-quality clinical staff. NurseBee was built to bridge these gaps with a modern, technology-driven solution that elevates the entire ecosystem.”

Funds raised through the Wefunder campaign will support several strategic priorities, including expansion into high-need regions, enhancements to NurseBee’s technology infrastructure, and continued development of its quality-first workforce model. The investment will also accelerate the rollout of features that streamline credentialing, improve matching accuracy, and strengthen oversight to ensure safety, reliability, and strong clinical performance.

In addition to addressing immediate workforce shortages, NurseBee’s long-term goal is to build a sustainable, scalable staffing framework that supports nurses and healthcare organizations as market pressures continue to intensify. This includes reinforcing the value of clinical autonomy, improving working conditions, and ensuring that facilities have stable access to qualified personnel when and where they need it most.

“The future of healthcare will depend on innovative staffing solutions that prioritize both workforce well-being and operational stability,” the team added. “By opening this raise to the public, we’re inviting supporters to participate in building a stronger, more resilient healthcare system.”

NurseBee’s Wefunder campaign is now open to investors nationwide.

For more information or to participate in the raise, please visit the NurseBee Wefunder page.

Strictly star Gorka Marquez one of three pros ‘axed’ by BBC as fans work out ‘real reason’ behind his ‘departure’

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left livid overnight as reports broke claiming Gorka Marquez will be among three professional dancers not returning for the 2026 series.

With hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman stepping down at the end of last year, this year’s Strictly was always going to be different. However, following reports Gorka, Luba Mushtuk and Michelle Tsiakkas are being “axed” from the show, viewers have threatened to “riot”.

Strictly 2026 shake-up sees Gorka axed?

According to The Sun, Strictly Come Dancing 2026 is set for a major shake-up.

A source alleged: “There are major changes taking place with dancers having meetings about their contracts over the next few weeks. Bosses want a fresh start and to bring in new faces after all the drama in recent years and create a new era.”

Gorka has been on the BBC series for a decade. He’s featured in three finals. Luba joined eight years ago, but hasn’t had a celebrity partner – barring the Christmas Special – in recent years. Michelle was paired with Jamie Borthwick in 2024. However, his run ended in scandal due to an ableist slur backstage on the tour.

‘Real’ reason Gorka is leaving flagged by fans?

Gorka didn’t have a celebrity partner last year. He did take part in the group numbers, and made some appearances on the live shows. This was due to a new judging role he had taken up on the Spanish version of Strictly Come Dancing.

As such, many viewers think that it will be his decision to leave the BBC series, and focus on his new judging role, rather than him being axed.

“If Gorka is going, I suspect it’s his choice as he has a role as a judge on the Spanish version of Dancing With the Stars that conflicts with the UK shows schedule. It would be a very great shame if he is, but I think it’s his choice rather than being axed,” one theorised.

Yeah Gorka was a judge in the Spanish version last year so I saw this coming,” another agreed.

Losing Gorka makes sense, with his other job he’s not there properly now anyway. They could do with cutting more to be honest to give the show a reboot,” said a third.

“I think Gorka was probably going to go soon anyways,” another commented. “Not Gorka! Shall we riot?” said another.

ED! has contacted Gorka’s reps for comment.

        ‘Gutted’

Other Strictly fans on social media have suggested that Luba and Michelle “don’t deserve to go”, especially Michelle, who many pointed out has “so much potential”.

“I think they should have let Karen [Hauer], Neil [Jones], Dianne [Buswell], Aljaz [Skorjanec] and Nadia [Bychkova] go. Gutted for Michelle – she had so much potential!

“Not Michelle. She’s not been given a chance! Luba has never been given a good partner. Gorka is an amazing dancer but needs to commit!” said another.

ED! has contacted the BBC for comment. Contract renewals and the pro dancer line-up for the upcoming series are usually announced in the spring. As such, the BBC said: “Plans for Strictly Come Dancing 2026 will be confirmed in due course.”

The Dark Truth About Colonizing Mars They Aren’t Telling You | Metaverse Planet

The Dark Truth About Colonizing Mars They Aren’t Telling You | Metaverse Planet

Let’s be honest for a second. Everyone is hyping up our grand move to Mars. I see the same glossy renders on my feed every day: beautiful glass domes, lush green indoor gardens, and people walking around in sleek sci-fi suits looking out over the red horizon.

But while I was diving into the actual astrophysical data last night, I stumbled upon a terrifying reality that almost no one in the mainstream tech sphere is talking about. The billionaires painting this perfect sci-fi picture are leaving out the absolute nightmare that awaits us.

I’m all for space exploration, but the truth I found genuinely freaked me out. So, let’s peel back the marketing hype and look at what living on the Red Planet will actually do to us.

        The Invisible Killer: Cosmic Radiation

When I first started researching the atmosphere on Mars, I knew it was thin. But I didn’t fully grasp what that meant until I looked at the radiation levels.

Here on Earth, our thick atmosphere and strong magnetic field act like a massive, invisible shield. Mars lost its magnetic field billions of years ago. The result? The radiation on the Martian surface is roughly 40 times higher than what we experience here. If I were to stand on the surface of Mars in a standard spacesuit, my DNA would be subjected to a constant barrage of galactic cosmic rays and solar particle events.

Elevated Cancer Risks: Long-term exposure essentially guarantees severe cellular damage.Cognitive Decline: Studies on deep space radiation show that it can physically alter brain structure, leading to memory loss and severe anxiety.

Those beautiful glass domes we see in the concept art? They wouldn’t block a fraction of this radiation. I quickly realized that living on the surface is a death sentence.

A Deep Freeze That Breaks Metal

Then, there’s the temperature. I live in a place where a cold winter day is an inconvenience, but Mars is a completely different beast.

Because the atmosphere is so incredibly thin (about 1% the density of Earth’s), it cannot trap heat. Even if the equator reaches a mild 20°C (68°F) on a summer day, the nights drop to a bone-chilling -125°C (-193°F).

Material Stress: At these temperatures, the structural integrity of metals and plastics changes. Materials become brittle. A simple micro-fracture in a habitat wall due to thermal expansion and contraction could mean instant depressurization.Energy Crisis: Heating a habitat against a -125°C void requires massive, unfailing energy sources. If the power grid fails, freezing to death wouldn’t take days; it would take hours.

The Gravity Trap: Watching Our Bodies Melt

But the absolute worst part, and the detail that sent a shiver down my spine, is the gravity.

Mars has only 38% of Earth’s gravity. We humans evolved perfectly for 1G. Our bodies are essentially machines constantly pushing against the weight of the Earth. When you take that resistance away, the machine starts to dismantle itself. I looked at the data from astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS). Even with two hours of rigorous, specialized exercise every single day, they lose significant bone density and muscle mass.

On Mars, it’s a slow, unavoidable decay:

Bone Demineralization: Calcium leaves the bones, making them fragile and prone to snapping.Cardiovascular Weakening: The heart doesn’t have to pump as hard to push blood upward against gravity, so the heart muscle literally shrinks over time.Vision Problems: Fluid shifts in the body press against the optic nerve, permanently altering eyesight.

If I moved to Mars, my muscles and bones would literally melt away over the years. Coming back to Earth would be impossible—my frail Martian body would be crushed under the weight of my home planet’s gravity.

Welcome to the Cave: Our Subterranean Future

So, if the radiation will fry us, the cold will freeze us, and the surface offers zero protection, where do we go?

This is the part the billionaire pitch decks leave out. To survive, we won’t be living in glass domes. We will be forced to hide deep underground.

When looking at topological maps of Mars, scientists focus heavily on lava tubes—massive, ancient underground caverns formed by long-dead volcanoes. Down there, shielded by meters of solid rock, the radiation is blocked, and the temperature swings are stabilized.

But think about what that means for our daily lives:

We are basically signing up to become a subterranean species. No windows. No natural sunlight.A claustrophobic, artificial existence where every breath of air and drop of water is recycled through massive machines buzzing in the dark.

I don’t know about you, but spending the rest of my life in a sunless, freezing cave doesn’t sound like the ultimate space dream to me. It sounds like a high-tech prison.

Earth Is Starting to Look Like a Paradise

Researching all of this completely shifted my perspective. Yes, pushing the boundaries of humanity and becoming a multi-planetary species is an incredible, necessary goal for our long-term survival. But we need to stop romanticizing the brutality of space.

Mars wants to kill us in a dozen different ways. Writing this made me look out my window and deeply appreciate the breathable air, the warm sun, and the gravity keeping me comfortably in my chair.

I’m curious to hear your take on this. Knowing that the reality is less “Star Trek” and more “underground survival bunker,” could you survive this dark subterranean life on Mars, or is Earth starting to look a lot better right now?

Let me know what you think in the comments below, and make sure to stick around—I’ve got plenty more hidden truths about our universe to share with you soon.

God Of War Prime Video Series: Everything We Know So Far – SlashFilm

God Of War Prime Video Series: Everything We Know So Far – SlashFilm

One of PlayStation’s most beloved video game series is finally coming to live-action. Amazon is in production at this very moment on a “God of War” TV show for Prime Video. The streamer is taking it very seriously, as it’s assembled a big cast with A-list creators behind the scenes to bring Kratos to life for fans around the world.

In 2019, Sony launched PlayStation Productions to turn its games into movies and TV shows. That’s gone pretty well so far, particularly with “The Last of Us” on HBO. We’re also now at a point where video game adaptations are no longer presumed bad out of the gate as they were for well over 20 years, dating back to Hollywood’s earliest attempts at adapting games for the screen. We’ve come a long way.

Prime Video has also proved that it can handle such source material with care. “Fallout” has been hailed as a stellar video game adaptation through its first two seasons. For that reason, fans of these games have every right to be optimistic about the show. Now that cameras are rolling, we’re going to go over everything we know about the “God of War” TV series, from who is bringing these characters to life to when you can expect to see it and everything in between. Let’s dive in.

When does the God of War TV show come out?

The “God of War” TV show doesn’t currently have a premiere date. However, production is underway as of this writing in Vancouver, Canada. Given that filming got going in the early part of 2026, a 2027 premiere date seems very likely. While late 2026 is possible, this is the kind of show that will require not only a long production, but a very lengthy post-production process.

Prime Video already released the first image of Kratos and Atreus in “God of War” to signal the start of production, which kicked off in February, so we’re well underway at this point. With all of that in mind, early to mid-2027 would be a reasonable expectation.

The show will be exclusive to Prime Video, as is often the case with major streaming shows. It’s unclear how Amazon will approach the release strategy, since Prime isn’t known for “binge dumps” like Netflix. Potentially, we could see a few episodes to start, with a weekly release schedule to follow.

What is the God of War TV show about?

The “God of War” series goes back a long time, dating back to the first release for the PlayStation 2 in 2005. There are 11 games in total, including seven made specifically for consoles. They generally pull from Greek and/or Norse mythology, which is a treasure trove of lore, so there’s plenty of material to pull from.

Amazon is pulling pretty specifically from the more recent games, which focuses on Kratos and his son Atreus. The 2018 “God of War” actually had some lessons Hollywood could learn, ones that Amazon hopefully will put to use. The official synopsis for the “God of War” TV series reads as follows:

God of War follows Kratos and his son, Atreus, as they embark on a journey to spread the ashes of Faye — Kratos’ wife and Atreus’ mother. Through their adventures, Kratos tries to teach his son to be a better god, while Atreus attempts to show his father how to be a better human.

Amazon also says that “the series will closely follow the story of the last two God of War video games, focusing on the father-son dynamic that was the heartbeat of the franchise’s most recent chapters.” That was very much on display in the first-look image. The creator of the games, David Jaffe, called the first image from the series “terrible,” but that’s not necessarily an indictment on the series as a whole, just that the first look perhaps left something to be desired.

Who is in the God of War TV show cast?

Ryan Hurst is leading the cast of “God of War” as Kratos. Fans of the games will be familiar with his work, as he voiced Thor in “God of War: Ragnarok.” Now, he’s bringing Kratos to life in live-action. The reaction to Hurst’s casting as Kratos from fans has been overwhelmingly positive. Callum Vinson (“Long Bright River”) is set to play his 10-year-old son, Atreus.

Hollywood legend Mandy Patinkin has been cast as Odin in the series. Viewers will know him from “Homeland” and “The Princess Bride.” He is the All-Father and most powerful Aesir god. Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (“Severance”) stars as Thor, the God of Thunder. Max Parker (“Boots”) will portray Heimdall, the Watchman of Asgard and one of Odin’s sons. Teresa Palmer (“A Discovery of Witches”) is on board as Sif, a mortal woman who became a goddess when she married Thor.

Marvel fans will recognize Ed Skrein in “God of War” as Baldur, the youngest son of Odin. He previously played the villain Ajax in 2016’s “Deadpool.” Thor’s oldest son Magni will be played by Ben Chapple (“Playing for Keeps”), while Modi, Thor’s middle child, will be played by Louis Cunningham (“Marie Antoinette”). Evelyn Miller (“Gangs of London”) is playing Gna, Odin’s Valkyrie commander, while Island Austin (“I Can Only Imagine 2”) is playing Thrúd, the youngest daughter of Thor.

We also have Alastair Duncan as Mimir, a wise ex-advisor to Odin, who previously voiced the role in the game. Danny Woodburn (“The Witcher”) will play Brok and Jeff Gulka (“The X-Files”) will play Sindri, two brothers who are the most talented blacksmiths around.

A Star Trek veteran is the showrunner of the God Of War series

So, who are the people actually making this show? Ronald D. Moore, a certified “Star Trek” legend, serves as showrunner of “God of War.” Moore is known for his work on “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” as well as “Battlestar Galactic” and “Outlander.” His resume is uniquely tailored to this sort of show. Moore also serves as executive producer and writer on the series.

Emmy Award-winner Frederick E.O. Toye (“Shogun,” “The Boys”) is directing the first two episodes. He also helmed episodes of “Fallout,” which makes him seem like another very logical choice to guide this ship.

Maril Davis, Cory Barlog, Naren Shankar, Matthew Graham, Asad Qizilbash, Jeff Ketcham, Hermen Hulst, Roy Lee, and Brad Van Arragon are also on board as executive producers. Joe Menosky, Marc Bernardin, Tania Lotia, and Ben McGinnis serve as co-executive producers. The series hails from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, in association with PlayStation Productions and Tall Ship Productions.

Prime Video’s God of War TV series has already been renewed for season 2

Amazon Prime Video confirmed the live-action “God of War” TV series in March 2022. Development tends to take time on projects this big, but companies like Amazon also generally don’t like to put the cart before the horse. However, they’re not taking a “wait and see” approach with this one.

It’s been confirmed that “God of War” will for sure be getting a second season. Like another big multi-season Prime Video series, “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” this won’t be a one-and-done endeavor. Amazon seems to have a lot of confidence in what’s been developed, as well as the potential audience for it. Whether or not we’ll have to take long breaks between seasons, as has become more customary in the streaming era, remains to be seen.

“‘God of War’ is a compelling, character-driven franchise that we believe will captivate our global customers as much with its expansive and immersive worlds as its rich storytelling,” Vernon Sanders, head of global television at Amazon Studios, said at the time of the announcement. “We are honored to share in the adventure of exploring the God of War mythology in such a momentous way with Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions, and Santa Monica Studio.”

“God of War” remains without a release date, but stay tuned.

A Crusade To Erase Obscure Japanese Game Cookie Finally Ends

A Crusade To Erase Obscure Japanese Game Cookie Finally Ends

This week, the Video Game History Foundation announced a very peculiar, very particular victory. Cookie’s Bustle, an extremely rare and surreal ‘90s Japanese PC game, has been liberated. If you have never heard of Cookie’s Bustle, there’s a good reason. For years someone has committed themselves to erasing every shred of Bustle’s presence online through copyright claims, despite having no ownership over the game.

Since 2022, an individual known as Brandon White, under the company Graceware, has unleashed swarms of copyright claims at any online material relating to the game Cookie’s Bustle. Many first took notice when these claims resulted in the disappearance of several posts from the cult ephemerist YouTuber ClassicsOfGame, leaving pockmarks in their elegant, numbered catalogue. The strikes extended well beyond YouTube, it turned out, with DMCA claims circulating against Twitch streams, fan art, ROM sites and even Discord posts. Whoever Brandon White is, they seemed less like someone protecting intellectual property and more like someone trying to erase it from existence.

This strange behavior came to the Video Game History Foundation’s own door. Though rare, a physical copy of the game was donated to the Foundation. The page they made to display this treasured acquisition? That got hit with a copyright strike too, piercing the web host for their archive’s web portal.

“Although Graceware’s actions against us were incredibly disruptive, we saw this as an opportunity to get to the bottom of what was happening,” writes Phil Salvador, the VGHF’s library director.

The lengthy post goes on to explain how the VGHF went on the offensive, uncovering the network of non-scrupulous firms and copyright services that White was using to launch this campaign. White had put up a smokescreen of sorts to use resources from the Association for UK Interactive Entertainment (Ukie), despite having no evidence of ownership of Cookie’s Bustle and even misspelling his own company as Gracewear in the Ukie membership.

Even if White was using automated copyright services like Web Capio to attack Bustle, the VGHF knew a confrontation with Ukie would cut him off at the pass. When the archive and entry for Cookie’s Bustle reemerged, Ukie was unable to prompt the VGHF’s host from dropping them a second time, so Ukie’s Mumith Ali reached out to the Foundation directly. It was an opportunity to call White’s bluff, with the Foundation telling Ali to reach out to Graceware to provide proof they had any claim to the original game’s creation. They could not.

The VGHF’s closing of this chapter has solved a lot of “how”s but not a lot of “why”s. The creator of Cookie’s Bustle is still unknown, making it orphaned (though not public domain). We know enough about Brandon White to say they are not the creator of Cookie’s Bustle, but we’re still left baffled as to why anyone would devote so much energy into its erasure.

For now, Cookie is free. YouTube account ClassicsOfGame triumphantly reposted the missing videos. Cookie can be shown, streamed, and appreciated. Cookie is free to dance. Dance and be happy, Cookie.

Pakistan’s Top 10 SEO Experts Who Actually Move the Needle | Web3Wire

            0
Pakistan’s Top 10 SEO Experts Who Actually Move the Needle | Web3Wire

As digital commerce continues reshaping Pakistan’s economy, a handful of optimization specialists stand out – not for hollow promises, but for genuinely moving businesses forward. Across e-commerce, B2B SaaS, fintech, and local service sectors, these ten professionals have built reputations on something rare: real, attributable results. Businesses searching for affordable, results-driven SEO packages Pakistan https://cloudexmarketing.com/seo-packages-pakistan/ has to offer will find that the best practitioners don’t sell cookie-cutter plans – they build strategies around actual market conditions and business goals. Their work is evaluated against hard evidence – historical ranking performance, direct revenue contribution, and the precision of their technical audits.

#1: Mujtaba Yousuf – Founder & CEO, Cloudex Marketing

Most Pakistani agencies operate on a simple model: collect monthly retainers, deliver reports, repeat. Mujtaba Yousuf built Cloudex Marketing to be the opposite of that. His entire philosophy centers on commercial outcomes – rankings that bring buyers, not just browsers.

            How He Works

Mujtaba’s methodology is grounded in three principles: commercial intent comes first, technical quality is non-negotiable, and white-hat practices protect long-term gains. His strategies revolve around building topical authority, aligning content with how AI-driven search results surface information, and making sure clients always know exactly what’s happening and why.

            What He’s Delivered

Within 180 days, clients typically see organic traffic triple. The engine behind that growth rests on four technical pillars: semantic content structure, AI-compatible optimization, schema markup, and keywords tied to purchase intent. Initial movement appears within two to three months, with compounding gains following as domain authority builds.

            How Clients Describe Him

On Sortlist, he holds a 4.75 rating. On TechBehemoths, 4.9. Reviews consistently mention that he skips the jargon, sets honest timelines, and focuses conversations on business impact rather than vanity metrics.

            What Makes Him Different

He turns away clients when he genuinely believes SEO won’t generate a positive return for them. He refuses to charge for work not done. When he takes a project, there are no excuses – just delivery. Clients regularly report outcomes as specific as five to ten qualified inquiries per day and top-three rankings on competitive commercial terms.

#2: Mehbob Shar – CEO & Founder, Icreativez Technologies

Mehbob Shar is the author of SEO without Off-Page, a title that captures his philosophy well. While most agencies in Pakistan treat link building as the centerpiece of every campaign, Mehbob builds rankings from the inside out – through technical rigor and content that earns authority on its own merit.

            His E-Commerce Edge

Online retailers face distinct challenges: bloated product catalogs, faceted navigation that confuses crawlers, category pages that compete with each other, and product listings that never appear as rich snippets. Mehbob addresses each of these directly – optimizing page structure, implementing schema for visual search results, and fixing the technical gaps that cause shoppers to bounce before converting.

            Depth Over Volume

He caps his active client list at ten businesses at any given time. That’s a deliberate choice. Fewer clients means more strategic bandwidth per account – the opposite of the spray-and-pray approach common among larger agencies managing dozens of accounts with cookie-cutter strategies.

            Contributing to the Industry

Mehbob speaks at international events and publishes accessible material that helps Pakistani businesses understand optimization at a strategic level – not just the surface tactics that agencies repeat without explaining the logic behind them.

#3: Nazar Ali Rajper – International SEO Consultant

Nazar Ali Rajper operates at the intersection of deep technical knowledge and data-driven decision-making. His track record on Clutch reflects what his clients consistently say: he builds rankings that hold.

            Technical Foundation

Core Web Vitals, mobile-first indexing, crawl budget management, structured data, site architecture – Nazar works through the full technical stack. Content and link-building efforts only perform when the underlying infrastructure is sound. His technical work creates the conditions for everything else to succeed.

            Decisions Backed by Data

Nazar doesn’t operate on assumptions. Conversion tracking, behavioral analysis, ranking correlation studies, and competitive intelligence inform every strategic call. This approach removes guesswork and ensures that resources flow toward the highest-impact opportunities.

#4: M. Tanveer Nandla – Strategic SEO Consultant

Tanveer brings a panoramic view to SEO – one that accounts for technical health, content depth, and authority development simultaneously. His experience spans multiple industries, which has sharpened his ability to recognize when a generic approach will fall flat and a custom strategy is needed.

            Full-Spectrum Consulting

A Tanveer engagement typically covers everything: technical audits that uncover ranking obstacles, keyword research targeting commercial searches, content planning that builds subject-matter authority, link acquisition from relevant sources, and ongoing performance monitoring. Nothing gets sacrificed in favor of overemphasizing a single tactic.

            Clients Who Understand Their Investment

Tanveer explains his reasoning clearly. Clients leave conversations knowing not just what he’s doing, but why – and what it would mean to take a different path. That transparency produces better partnerships and better outcomes.

#5: Usman Latif – SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist

Usman approaches optimization as one lever within a larger marketing system. When channels are coordinated – SEO, paid search, social, content, and conversion – the whole performs better than the sum of its parts.

            Connected Thinking

Organic visibility lifts paid performance by improving Quality Scores and reducing cost-per-click. Content optimized for search also circulates through social channels. Conversion improvements benefit every traffic source simultaneously. Usman keeps these connections front of mind when building strategy.

            Outcomes as the Benchmark

His metrics aren’t traffic graphs – they’re qualified leads, acquisition costs, customer lifetime value, and revenue. Optimization is only as valuable as its measurable contribution to business growth.

#6: Salman Baig – Head of SEO, South Asia at Alibaba Group

Managing SEO across more than a million indexed pages, in multiple languages, across multiple jurisdictions – that’s Salman Baig’s current scope. His role heading Alibaba Group’s South Asia search operations puts him in a category few Pakistani SEO professionals can claim.

            Enterprise-Grade Expertise

Salman works on challenges most practitioners never encounter: coordinating technical changes across large development teams, navigating multilingual and international SEO complexity, managing cross-department priorities, and optimizing site architectures at a scale where small inefficiencies become expensive problems.

            Raising the Industry’s Floor

His speaking engagements and thought leadership bring enterprise-level thinking to a community that doesn’t always have access to it. By sharing what he’s learned at scale, he helps raise the quality ceiling for Pakistani SEO broadly.

Understanding the different types of SEO https://cloudexmarketing.com/types-of-seo/ technical, on-page, off-page, local, and international – is essential when evaluating which specialist fits your needs, since each expert below tends to excel in one or more of these distinct disciplines.

#7: Noushad Ranani – Creative SEO Strategist, Founder & CEO of Zera Creative

Not every SEO problem has a textbook answer. Noushad Ranani is the consultant to call when standard approaches run out of road. His work has been recognized across industry publications for strategies that find a way through when conventional tactics stall.

Creative Problem Solving as a Core Skill

Competitive markets demand differentiation. Technical constraints require inventive workarounds. Tight budgets force smart prioritization. Unusual business models need custom frameworks. Noushad builds solutions that fit the actual situation rather than forcing situations to fit the solutions he already has.

            Staying Ahead of the Curve

He tests approaches before they’re mainstream, adapts global tactics for Pakistani market dynamics, and identifies gaps that competitors haven’t noticed yet. That kind of forward thinking creates durable advantages.

#8: Zohaib Manzoor – Technical SEO Specialist

Some ranking problems aren’t content problems or link problems – they’re engineering problems. JavaScript rendering failures, misconfigured hreflang tags, crawl budget waste, botched site migrations – these require a different kind of expertise. Zohaib Manzoor specializes in exactly these scenarios.

            Technical Mastery at Depth

His toolkit includes progressive web app optimization, large-scale migration planning, advanced structured data implementation, and international SEO configuration. He understands not just what’s wrong, but why search engines are responding the way they are – and how to fix it correctly.

            Execution Without Errors

Identifying a problem is only half the work. Zohaib’s value lies in implementing fixes cleanly, confirming they’ve resolved the issue, and avoiding the new problems that sloppy technical work introduces.

            #9: Nazar Ali – Co-Founder, ZNWebPro

As an entrepreneur himself, Nazar Ali brings a business owner’s perspective to optimization strategy. He understands what it means to weigh resource constraints, evaluate opportunity costs, and make decisions with incomplete information under pressure.

            Strategy That Fits Reality

Small and growth-stage businesses can’t execute a Fortune 500 SEO roadmap. Nazar builds plans that are ambitious but executable – calibrated to actual team capacity, realistic budgets, and the competitive position a business actually occupies rather than where it hopes to be.

            Compounding Returns Over Time

His focus on sustainable optimization means avoiding shortcuts that require constant maintenance or collapse under algorithm updates. Well-built SEO compounds – authority and rankings built correctly continue paying dividends as a business scales.

#10: Muhammad Rameez Ul Haq – International SEO Trainer

Pakistan’s formal education system has no meaningful pathway into professional SEO. Muhammad Rameez Ul Haq has spent his career filling that gap. With over 500 professionals trained and international workshop experience behind him, he’s building the next generation of Pakistani SEO talent.

Structured Learning Where It Doesn’t Exist

His courses provide a disciplined path into the field – one that reflects current global standards rather than outdated practices or locally-specific techniques that don’t transfer to international markets.

Skills That Work on Day One

Rameez designs training around real projects and applied exercises. Graduates leave able to contribute immediately rather than spending months unlearning theoretical frameworks that don’t connect to actual client work.

Choosing the Right SEO Expert: A Practical Framework

Step 1: Get Clear on What You’re Actually Trying to Achieve

Are you after qualified leads? More online sales? Visibility in specific cities? Brand credibility? Clarity here makes it possible to evaluate whether an expert’s specialization actually matches your needs.

Step 2: Know Your Competitive Landscape

Look up who ranks for your target terms. Check their domain authority, content depth, and technical quality. Highly competitive markets demand specialists with a documented track record in difficult niches. Less competitive ones may not require the most expensive option.

Step 3: Ask for Evidence, Not Pitches

Any serious expert can show you case studies with specific numbers – traffic changes, revenue attributed to organic, ranking improvements over time. They can provide references. They have verified reviews on Clutch, Sortlist, or TechBehemoths. If a consultant hesitates to provide concrete proof, that tells you what you need to know.

Step 4: Listen to How They Explain Things

Do they ask detailed questions about your business before proposing anything?Or do they jump straight to package pitches? Good consultants customize. Watch for red flags: ranking guarantees, suspiciously low pricing, jargon-heavy explanations that obscure rather than clarify, and traffic metrics decoupled from business outcomes.

Step 5: Match Expertise to Your Specific Situation

An e-commerce platform needs someone fluent in product page optimization and faceted navigation. A local service business needs Google Business Profile depth. A B2B company needs content that builds thought leadership. An enterprise organization needs someone who has managed large-scale technical implementation. Hiring outside your actual need produces suboptimal results regardless of how talented the practitioner is in their own lane.

Step 6: Evaluate Transparency Before You Sign Anything

How someone communicates during a sales conversation predicts how they’ll communicate once you’re a client. Are timelines realistic? Are limitations acknowledged honestly? Are deliverables clearly defined? If the answer to any of these is no, walk away.

Step 7: Calculate Expected Return, Not Just Cost

Cheap SEO produces cheap results. The relevant question isn’t what something costs – it’s what return it generates. If a single new client acquired through organic search is worth Rs. 50,000 in profit, a Rs. 100,000 monthly investment makes sense. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t. Model the math before committing.

            Closing Thought

Strategic SEO, executed by someone who genuinely understands both the technical requirements and the business context, creates advantages that accumulate over time and are difficult for competitors to replicate quickly. The ten specialists profiled here represent different dimensions of that expertise – from enterprise-scale technical management to creative problem-solving, from educational contribution to revenue-first execution. The right choice depends on where you are, what you’re competing against, and what outcomes you actually need.

CFTC ‘Stands Ready’ for Crypto Rules as Trump Pressures Banks

CFTC ‘Stands Ready’ for Crypto Rules as Trump Pressures Banks

            Key Highlights

CFTC Chairman Michael Selig posted on X that the agency “stands ready to implement purpose-fit digital asset regulations to help ensure the U.S. remains the crypto capital of the world.”The post was a direct response to Rep. Bryan Steil, Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Digital Assets, who appeared on Fox Business stating that making the U.S. the crypto capital “will unleash innovation and lower costs.”Selig is currently the sole commissioner on the CFTC’s five-member panel, giving him unilateral authority to issue guidance, though permanent rulemaking requires a fuller commission.

The head of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission signaled on Saturday that the agency is prepared to move forward on crypto market structure regulations, in a public exchange with one of the key lawmakers behind the CLARITY Act.

CFTC Chairman Michael Selig posted on X on March 7, 2026, thanking Rep. Bryan Steil for his “leadership on digital asset market structure.” He added that the CFTC “stands ready to implement purpose-fit digital asset regulations to help ensure the U.S. remains the crypto capital of the world.”

The post was a direct reply to Steil’s own X post, in which the Wisconsin congressman said that making the U.S. the crypto capital “will unleash innovation and lower costs.” Steil tagged both Selig and SEC Chairman Paul Atkins in the post, which accompanied a clip from his appearance on Fox Business earlier that morning.

Trump Pressures Banks Over Crypto Bill

The Fox Business segment that prompted the exchange carried a notable chyron: “TRUMP TAKES AIM AT BANKS OVER CRYPTO BILL TALKS.”

The reference points to growing White House frustration with the banking industry’s role in stalling the CLARITY Act’s Senate passage. The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act passed the House with bipartisan support in July 2025 and would grant the CFTC exclusive jurisdiction over digital commodity spot markets while maintaining SEC authority over securities-like tokens. The bill has been stuck in the Senate since late 2025, primarily over a dispute about whether stablecoin issuers should be allowed to pay yield to holders — a provision that traditional banks have lobbied against.

Trump has publicly criticized banking groups for opposing provisions of the bill that would compete with traditional deposit products. The stablecoin yield debate has pitted crypto firms, who argue that yield is a natural feature of programmable money, against banking lobbyists, who argue it would draw deposits away from regulated institutions.

Rep. Steil, who chairs the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Digital Assets and is one of the original cosponsors of the CLARITY Act, has been one of the bill’s most visible advocates. He previously told CNBC that he believed the legislation could still be signed into law in 2026, though the window narrows as midterm elections approach in November.

            CFTC Positioning for Expanded Role

Selig’s post is the latest in a series of signals that the CFTC is actively preparing for the expanded regulatory responsibilities the CLARITY Act would deliver.

Earlier this month, Selig said at the Milken Institute’s Future of Finance conference that the agency would release guidance on crypto perpetual futures “within weeks” and was also preparing rules for prediction markets. He noted that the U.S. needed to recapture liquidity that has migrated to offshore platforms.

The CFTC has already taken several steps under Selig’s leadership. In January 2026, the agency joined the SEC in launching Project Crypto, a joint initiative to harmonize digital asset oversight. The agency has also named a new Director of Enforcement, former federal prosecutor David I. Miller, and launched its “Future-Proof” initiative to modernize regulations originally designed for agricultural futures markets.

However, Selig currently operates as the sole commissioner on the CFTC’s five-member panel. While this gives him the authority to issue guidance and take procedural actions unilaterally, permanent rulemaking and major policy changes typically require a fuller commission. The White House has been considering bipartisan nominees for the four open seats, but no appointments have been confirmed.

What It Means for the Crypto Industry

The coordinated public messaging between a CFTC chairman and a key House lawmaker — on the same day that the president is reportedly pressuring banks over the same bill — signals that the administration is escalating its push to move the CLARITY Act through the Senate before the midterm window closes.

For the crypto industry, the CFTC’s stated readiness to implement regulations is significant. The agency would become the primary crypto regulator under the CLARITY Act, overseeing spot markets for digital commodities including Bitcoin and most major tokens. Its willingness to move quickly — through guidance if not through formal rulemaking — suggests that regulatory infrastructure could begin taking shape even before the bill is signed.

Polymarket data currently shows approximately 70% odds that the CLARITY Act passes in 2026, though that figure has fluctuated with Senate negotiations.
