Will Sex and the City fans see the return of Dr. Trey MacDougal on And Just Like That? It’s quite possible if Kyle MacLachlan has a say.

Just days after Kristin Davis revealed that Trey, played by MacLachlan, 66, was the centre of a discarded plotline on the SATC reboot series, the actor himself spoke about being open to reprising his role.

Speaking to People on Monday, March 10, MacLachlan responded to comments made by Davis, 60, on the Thursday, March 6, episode of her “Are You a Charlotte?” podcast. Davis revealed that a rejected storyline for her character Charlotte York-Goldenblatt involved bumping into her first husband, Trey, whom Davis labelled the “best match” for Charlotte.

“That’s so sweet of her,” MacLachlan told the outlet of Davis’ recent comments. “I thought I was her perfect match and then they brought in somebody else. It was sad.”

Of returning to the SATC universe as Trey, MacLachlan expressed his interest and admitted that the show’s creators had been in touch. “I think it would be really fun to return, yeah, I do,” MacLachlan said. “They had reached out. I just felt that the idea that they had — I wanted a little bit more to it. I wanted the relationship that we had to be a little deeper.”

He added, “Maybe they’ll come back with another idea. I’d be game.”

On Davis’ podcast, the actress confirmed that MacLachlan, a friend of hers, had declined an offer to appear on AJLT. “I think he just didn’t want there to be kind of a sad note to the end,” Davis said. “So, I get that.”

Davis added, however, that she was eager for fans to receive some sort of closure over Trey and Charlotte’s failed marriage. (The characters got married in season three of SATC and divorced in season five before Charlotte went on to marry her current husband, Harry Goldenblatt, played by Evan Handler.)

“[Charlotte has] kind of an unfinished feeling about [Trey] and she really wants to see him,” Davis said on the podcast episode. “I, Kristen, also feel that way.”

She added that she hopes AJLT does find a way to bring Trey back into her character’s life. “Maybe they run into each other, you know, just at an event or at a restaurant or something like that,” Davis explained. “I think it would be so amazing to have Kyle back on. And I did give him a hard time the other day. And then he explained his point of view, and I did understand it.”

The White House won’t hold another big crypto summit soon

The White House won’t hold another big crypto summit soon

After hosting its first crypto summit last Friday, the Trump administration has confirmed that it will not organize another large-scale event of this kind. Instead, the White House will focus on smaller, more specialized meetings to discuss specific issues within the crypto industry.

The White House Crypto Summit: A Landmark Event with Notable Statements

The first-ever White House crypto meeting under President Donald Trump will take place on Friday, bringing together top industry leaders. This event replaces an earlier plan to establish a permanent “crypto council,” which was scrapped due to internal conflicts within the industry.

An anonymous source called the decision to abandon the council “a brilliant strategic move” that prevents power struggles within the White House. Kristin Smith, CEO of the Blockchain Association, agreed, noting, “A fixed council could create a sense of exclusivity, leaving some stakeholders out from the start.”

Discussions at the summit will cover pressing issues such as whether foreign stablecoin issuers like Tether should have access to U.S. Treasury bonds and whether the federal government should include tokens beyond Bitcoin in its crypto reserves. These controversies prompted the Trump administration to opt for periodic crypto summits rather than a standing council, which could fuel industry disputes.

    Source: Investopedia

    Key Attendees

David Sacks, Trump’s “AI and Crypto Czar,” will lead the summit. Confirmed attendees include:

    Michael Saylor (Strategy)Kyle Samani (Multicoin Capital)Matt Huang (Paradigm)Vlad Tenev (Robinhood)Brian Armstrong (Coinbase)Arjun Sethi (Kraken)Kris Marszalek (Crypto.com)

From the administration’s side, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and acting leaders of the SEC and CFTC may also participate.

The White House Shifts to Smaller, More Focused Meetings

Although the first summit successfully connected industry leaders with government officials, Bo Hines, Executive Director of the Presidential Working Group on Digital Assets, confirmed that no similar large-scale events are planned. Instead, the White House will hold smaller, issue-specific meetings.

“We want a more effective process that gathers the most valuable insights for sound decision-making,” Hines explained. He added that upcoming meetings will focus on key legislative topics under Congressional review, particularly stablecoin regulations and crypto market structure.

    Key Discussion Topics

Hines outlined several major areas of focus for future meetings:

Stablecoin Regulation: The administration is exploring ways to regulate stablecoins without stifling industry growth.Centralized Exchanges (CEXs): Upcoming policies may impact platforms like Coinbase, Binance US, and Kraken.Crypto Mining and Energy Consumption: Lawmakers will examine mining policies and their environmental impact.Investment and Financial Regulations: The White House aims to foster a safe investment environment while ensuring investor protection.

The White House Remains Engaged with Crypto

Despite ruling out more large-scale summits, the Trump administration remains actively engaged with the crypto sector. Following last week’s meeting, the Digital Assets Working Group will continue working with Congress to develop policies that support industry growth while safeguarding traditional financial stability.

Rather than focusing on symbolic events, the administration is taking a more practical approach. Smaller, targeted meetings will allow policymakers to gain deeper insights into critical issues, enabling more informed decision-making that benefits both the crypto industry and the U.S. economy.

While the White House under Trump remains interested in crypto, it is shifting toward specialized discussions rather than large-scale gatherings. This strategic shift will help craft well-informed policies that promote industry innovation while mitigating financial risks. In the coming months, the crypto community should closely monitor developments from both the Presidential Working Group on Digital Assets and Congress.

    Sumary

The Trump administration remains engaged with crypto but will focus on smaller, issue-specific meetings. This approach aims to support innovation while ensuring financial stability. The industry should watch for upcoming policy changes.

Marvel Rivals Latest Patch Aims to Buff One New Hero, and Nerf a Fan Favorite

Marvel Rivals Latest Patch Aims to Buff One New Hero, and Nerf a Fan Favorite

    Summary

Iron Man’s Repulsor Blasts are getting nerfed in the new Marvel Rivals patch. Human Torch is getting a buff to his primary attack damage output and Ultimate Ability. Developers are balancing hero abilities with adjustments in the mid-season patch.

NetEase is aiming to release a new patch for Marvel Rivals later this week, and this aims to nerf a hero that shouldn’t have gotten a buff in the first place.

The hero I’m referring to is none other than Iron Man. The character’s Repulsor Blasts are getting a significant nerf, which makes them less effective.

Ubisoft Hero Shooter “Project U” Opening Cinematic Leaks, But Can It Take On Marvel Rivals?

Ubisoft is said to still be developing its hero shooter with the codename “Project U,” and more leaks are said to be on the way.

    marvelrivalshumantorch-000-1

The mid-season balance patch for Season 1.5 will drop on March 13 on all platforms according to NetEase. The main hero changes here include a buff to the Human Torch, a nerf to Iron Man, and an adjustment to Cloak & Dagger (again).

    Duelist

    Human Torch

The fiery hero is getting a boost to his primary attack damage output and Ultimate Ability, enhancing his solo takedown potential.

Increase Fire Cluster projectile speed from 120m/s to 150m/s and projectile count from 12 to 14. Increase the energy cost of Supernova (ultimate ability) from 3400 to 4000; Increase activation wave damage from 70 to 80 and Flame Tornado damage from 100 per/s to 120 per/s.

    Iron Man

The Armored Avenger will see slight adjustments to his primary attack in both states, balancing his mid-range offensive capabilities.

Decrease Repulsor Blast stage 1 and 2 direct hit damage from 55 to 40; Increase spell field damage from 35 to 50. Decrease stage 3 direct hit damage from 65 to 50; Increase spell field damage from 40 to 60. Decrease Repulsor Blast (Armor Overdrive) direct hit damage decreased from 55 to 50; Increase spell field damage from 55 to 65.

    STRATEGIST

    Cloak & Dagger

The duality duo will see improvements in their healing abilities, making them more versatile for various team compositions.

Increase the healing effect from Lightforce Dagger on hit allies from 10 to 16; Reduce the spell field healing amount generated by the hit from 18 to 16.

Overall, these seem like good changes by the developers. Iron Man’s Unibeam buff and coupled with the character’s Repulsor Blasts made him a wee bit too powerful in almost all skirmishes.

Harry Potter Actress Turns to OnlyFans, Says She Has to “Get Out of Debt”

Harry Potter Actress Turns to OnlyFans, Says She Has to “Get Out of Debt”

      Reading Time: 3 minutes

No, to answer the question you may have after reading the headline above. It’s not Emma Watson.

Instead, Jessie Cave — best known for playing Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter film franchise — announced this week that she has opened an OnlyFans account.

Before anyone goes too crazy over this confirmation, the page doesn’t sound as if it will be too X-rated.

Jessie Cave attends the UK Premiere of “A Boy called Christmas” at The Natural History Museum on November 15, 2021 in London, England. (Photo by Tim P. Whitby/Getty Images)

In an Instagram post, Cave explained to her boyfriend that this OnlyFans account would contain “the best quality hair sounds” and “very sensual stuff.”

She also emphasized the platform would not be sexual, but “it is a fetish, I think. I hope.”

OnlyFans, of course, requires readers/viewers to pay a subscription fee in exchange for exclusive access to various photos and videos — typically from people who are at least semi-famous… and typically from those who post scantily-clad images and/or pieces of footage of themselves.

This is not what many folks would expect from an actress who played a key role in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Via Substack, Cave further broke down her reasoning for starting an OnlyFans account a couple days ago, stating that it’s really just a money issue.

She hasn’t exactly been breaking the bank in Hollywood.

“One year. I’ll try for one year,” Cave wrote.

“My aim? To get the house safe, cover the arsenic/lead wallpaper, build a new roof etc. My aim? To get out of debt. My aim? To empower myself? To prove to those in the past who have misjudged me that I’m not so sweet? To put time into something I never invested in before: self-love.”

Aside from her role in the Harry Potter universe, Cave has appeared in such hits shows as Industry, Call the Midwife, and Black Mirror.

“Were my years of Harry Potter conventions in fact research? [It feels] like I’m doing something naughty, something a little f-cked up. I like that. Ripping up the good little actress rule book,” Cave added on her Substack page.

Cave is far from the only mainstream actress to turn to OnlyFans. Most notably, The Sopranos cast member Drea de Matteo admitted that she created an account that helped her keep her family residence.

“OnlyFans saved my life, 100 percent,” she previously told TheDailyMail.com.

“I can’t believe I’m saying that, but it really did save us. Anybody that wants to condemn me and put me down, go for it. I just hope you never find yourself in the position I was in to take care of two little kids. It saved my home of many years that was very important to us.”

Crocs are coming to Fortnite so you can buy Jibbitz for your Peely

Crocs are coming to Fortnite so you can buy Jibbitz for your Peely

You know how Epic Games added shoes to Fortnite last year? With Kicks, you can put Jordans on Zuko or slippers on Darth Vader. It only makes sense that Epic Games added Crocs — the “squishy orthopedic shoe,” as Vox put it — to the game. So yeah, if you ever wanted to see Crocs on Godzilla, this is your moment.

Epic Games’ Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 is getting updated tonight, which is when the developer will officially drop Crocs into the Fortnite Item Shop. There are four styles: white classic Crocs, pink classic Crocs, and two funky Crocs, in black and grey. You can choose to flip on Jibbitz or not (no extra cost!) and choose sport mode, if you please. Good luck keeping those things on while sprinting through Outlaw Oasis.

Frankly, I think I’ll hold off on the in-game Crocs until Epic Games is brave enough to add platform Croc heels. Then again, I used to say I’d never wear my Crocs out of the house… and, well, look at me now.

The cleanup process for the BLM mural began this week after Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser got pressure from the White House to either change the name or lose the city’s federal funding, should a proposed legislative bill pass.

It’s not like the summer of 2020 — when the mural was first installed — was terribly long ago, but given the protests that surrounded the murder of George Floyd, Jamie probably assumed the political artwork would stand much longer … it was originally planned to be permanent.

Jamie hopped into The Neighborhood Talk’s comment section and called the mural’s destruction a “drag” as NBC News reports the job will cost about $610,000 … and take up to 2 months to complete.

In part of a statement news outlets, Mayor Bowser labeled Georgia Rep. Andrew Clyde’s role in introducing the legislation as “meaningless congressional interference.” Clyde’s bill also proposed the area be re-named from “Black Lives Matter Plaza” to “Liberty Plaza.”

Loose Women’s Frankie Bridge reveals son’s heartbreaking gift after he saw her ‘crying in despair’ amid health struggle

Loose Women star Frankie Bridge has revealed the heartbreaking gift her son got her after he saw her in the “depths of despair.”

The TV star is a proud mum to two sons, Parker and Carter – who she shares with husband Wayne Bridge.

And throughout her years in the spotlight, Frankie has been very open about her struggles with depression on TV and in the press.

In a recent interview, Frankie candidly opened up about a time when her youngest son saw her crying on a “bad day”.

Loose Women star Frankie Bridge makes heartbreaking confession

This week, Frankie and Loose Women co-star Kaye Adams appeared on the show’s brand new podcast.

Talking about depression and how to discuss it with loved ones, Frankie recalled a time that her youngest son Carter caught her “really crying” on a “bad day”.

She shared: “Depression I feel is harder to explain.

“Actually my youngest caught me not that long ago in like the depths of despair on a particular bad day, and I was just really, really crying.”

Frankie’s son caught her ‘really crying’

Frankie continued: “He came in and I just panicked. I wasn’t in my right mind and he said ‘mummy are you ok what’s wrong?’

“And I said ‘oh I have got a really bad migraine’ and he kind of accepted that said ‘I hope you feel better’ and left.”

Frankie then revealed the present that Carter bought her – months after he saw her breaking down in tears.

Frankie reveals Carter’s gift for her

“I didn’t realise how much that had sat with him until my birthday a couple of months ago,” Frankie shared.

She went on: “Wayne said ‘there’s a present that Carter wanted me to get for you, it’s really random but when you open it you’ll understand what it is.’

“And when I opened it it was two boxes of ibuprofen and he [Carter] said to Wayne ‘Shall we get her something with migraines because she gets them really bad doesn’t she?’”

Frankie added: “And that’s why he got them me. I thought that was so sweet!”

          Frankie Bridge on mental health

Frankie has been candid about her struggles with mental health and anxiety over the years.

She’s addressed going through panic attacks, taking medication and being in rehab during interviews. And she has subsequently become an ambassador for charity Mind.

Frankie has indicated she has suffered with poor mental health since she was a teenager – and was a ‘worried’ child, too.

In 2011, while filming a music video in Iceland, Frankie hit rock bottom with her despair. This led to her hospitalisation on her return to the UK.

She later revealed: “I’d reached a point where I couldn’t cope with everyday life.”

“I was constantly crying and telling my partner that I didn’t really want to be here anymore,” Frankie added.

Frankie also penned Open: Why Asking for Help Can Save Your Life, in which she documented issues she has suffered with.

Maya Jama, Gary Lineker, and Micah Richards at Baller League UK draft

In a new video, Gary Lineker seemingly confirmed that Maya is currently in a relationship with Manchester City player Ruben Dias.

Dias, 27, is from Portugal and has played as a defender for City since 2020.

Gary’s shock confirmation of their relationship came during Maya’s jokey exchange with Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards.

Maya, Gary, and Micah were present for the draft of Baller League UK. The new competition will see football legends, cultural icons, and social media stars play against each other in indoor six-a-side football matches.

Maya Jama has recently been announced as a co-manager of MVP United alongside Juventus Women star Alisha Lehmann.

Gary, Micah, and Alan Shearer, meanwhile, will be the managers of Deportrio.

            Maya and Micah ‘clash’

In a promo video, Maya could be seen poking fun at opposing manager, Micah.

“He’s my biggest op,” she said as Micah came to sit next to her. “Why are we ops though? I thought we were friends,” he said.

“We are friends, but it would just make sense for you to be my nemesis,” Maya then explained.

Micah then playfully confronted Maya about previous comments she’d made about his age.

“You disrespected me, didn’t you? You said I look 40 years old,” he said. “I’m only 36. You do me wrong man.”

“But you’re nearly there,” she said.  “How old are you?” Micah then asked.

“I’m 30. on the dot. Just 3, 0, new, fresh 30. I just got there,” Maya responded.

Maya Jama snaps at Gary Lineker

At that point, Gary approaches, jokingly scolding his co-star.

“Micah, stop flirting and get her boyfriend to play for us!” the former England star snapped.

As Micah burst into laughter, Maya snapped at him to “get out”.

“This is why I don’t talk to old people. They’re so weird,” she then said, smirking.

There have been rumours for months that Maya and Ruben Dias are an item. They are believed to have begun dating after meeting at the European Music Awards last year.

They were reportedly spotted together celebrating New Year Eve’s in Ibiza. Maya also suggested that she’s taking Portuguese lessons recently – hinting that maybe their rumoured relationship is getting more serious.

However, neither Reben nor Maya have publically confirmed the relationship.

ED! has contacted Maya’s reps for comment.

Holesky testnet revival bolsters Ethereum’s Pectra upgrade mission

Holesky testnet revival bolsters Ethereum’s Pectra upgrade mission

Holesky, an Ethereum testnet, has regained finality after nearly two weeks of instability.

The network’s disruption had stalled testing for the anticipated Pectra upgrade, delaying progress on the upcoming hard fork.

However, with Holesky now operational, EthPandaOps, a group of Ethereum developers, confirmed that validators could resume Pectra testing on the testnet.

The developers also recommended that solo stakers use the Ephemery testnet as an alternative environment for independent testing.

            Holesky testnet

On March 10, EthPandaOps confirmed that Holesky finalized at Epoch 119090. This milestone was reached after more than two-thirds of the validators participated, stabilizing the network.

Holesky’s disruption began on Feb. 24 when it failed to finalize during Pectra testing.

Tim Beiko, Ethereum Foundation’s Protocol Support Lead, linked the issue to execution clients such as Geth, which used incorrect deposit contract addresses. This misconfiguration triggered an execution layer (EL) bug, causing chain splits and destabilizing the network.

An initial attempt to resolve the issue failed due to insufficient validator participation. However, with finality now restored, all test transactions on Holesky are permanent and irreversible.

EthPandaOps noted that Holesky has remained stable since its recovery, with ongoing finalizations. Some epochs have seen lower validator participation as users transition from temporary fixes to stable setups. Despite this, the network remains functional and ready for further testing.

Meanwhile, the developers also pointed out that the exit queue is filled with slashed validators and those below the required balance, amounting to nearly one million validators. However, around 700,000 remain active, with their balances expected to rise as they continue fulfilling network duties.

            Other challenges

Holesky’s recovery comes as Ethereum developers address another issue on Sepolia, another test network.

Last week, Beiko reported that a custom deposit contract problem disrupted certain execution layer clients on Sepolia, affecting transactions within blocks.

Despite these challenges, Ethereum developers remain confident that Pectra could launch as scheduled in April.
