Elon Musk Rage Quits Gaming Livestream – ISK Mogul Adventures


It turns out an Elon Musk rage quit is a wonderful thing to behold. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has long been a controversial figure in politics. And once again, he’s proving to be an equally irritating feature in gaming spaces. His initial foray into trying to be a “Gamer” began with an infuriatingly terrible Elden Ring build. Everyone already hated that for just how transparently bad it was. But more recently, Musk took things a step further.

While he’s spent the last few months aiding the Trump administration in dismantling the federal government, he’s also spent time gaming. And if you’re not familiar with this whole saga, it’s kind of bizarre. The current hurricane of outrage began swirling early this year when his Path of Exile account was caught leveling while Musk himself was at the Trump inauguration. This effectively confirmed a long-standing rumor that Musk had been paying someone to play his account—known as boosting, where a higher-skilled player plays the account in your stead—to hilarious results. In short, everyone who watched Elon Musk actually play saw through his facade.

And now, he’s trying to fool everyone again. During a Saturday livestream of himself playing the free-to-play action RPG Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2)—where he was attempting to demonstrate the viability of Starlink for low-latency gaming—he’s now experienced the feature we’re all familiar with in gaming, online bullying. Polygon originally broke the story, cataloging some of the funnier moments that led to the Elon Musk rage quit.

For its part, the internet went mad, as it usually does. For one example, Twitter was a mixed bag. Some users joined in on the taunting, mocking other examples of Musk being terrible at video games. Others chose to defend the billionaire, maybe they’re hoping to curry some favor with the embarrassment of a gamer.

“Elon Musk just rage quit his Twitter stream after repeatedly dying to a tutorial boss in the new PoE2 patch on hardcore,” one X-formerly-Twitter user wrote.

Path of Exile 2‘s community was equally bemused by the entire affair. Reddit and the forums for the game were alight with all manner of mocking insults. They even took some of their more toxic taunting to the in-game chat—with users direct messaging him various insults—clearly designed to elicit this exact response of a rage quit.

Adding to the strange nature of the affair is Musk himself. All while chat taunted him, Musk simply blasted music through a subpar-quality microphone with a blank stare.

And of course, who could talk about Elon Musk’s tarnished gaming credentials without bringing up Twitch streamer, Quin69TV. The often-divisive personality savaged Musk in multiple videos, deeply undermining his cred with gamers. Quin spent a good chunk of a recent stream analyzing and deriding the gameplay.

“We’re going to see a live RIP, 100%” he remarked during the stream. Musk later died multiple times in early parts of Path of Exile 2. Quin continued mocking Musk, saying: “….It’s more like a jester…just seeing how slowly he does everything, it’s insane.”

After the Elon Musk rage quit, his response drew even more ire.

“There’s a lot of r*tards in the chat,” he said at one point. This rant happened shortly before Musk ended his stream, while a user named HC_John_Wick repeatedly spammed “ELON HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO LOOK THIS DUMB AND UGLY WHY IS UR TESLA COMPANY FALLING APART AHAAHAAHAAH! WHAT HAPPENED BUDDY?” Elon used in-game features to block this user to the delight of people mocking him further.

Of course, there’s a legion of equally thin-skinned hypocrites decrying his treatment online. Twitter and other social media sites filled with people defending Musk (many of them bearing blue checks) and calling the behavior uncalled for and disrespectful. This coming from the same crowd that eagerly defends the use of slurs as “just part of being online” whenever someone has an issue with online harassment of normal people. The difference is that this is the wealthiest man on the planet, who also happens to be rightfully despised for his antics, including a controversial salute he performed twice. He’s going to get bullied, and no amount of sucking up to his baby-like behavior is going to change that.

    Another day, another scam “game” trying to fleece the foolish out of their money. Today, we bring you the nightmarish ripoff known as Paradise XRPL. Where festering garbage like The Day Before failed, surely these idiots will succeed, right?

    Paradise (or Paradise XRPL) from Ultra Games is the latest in a long line of obvious scams to hit the market. And of course, it’s landing in the irradiated waste dump that is the Epic Games Store. All the Fortnite money in the world didn’t stop the platform from becoming the destination for crypto scams and NFT shovelware. And this is where we are now.

    And just like The Day Before we’ve got a trailer just directly ripping off better promotional material. This “game” uses a similar song and presentation style to the GTA 6 trailer, but with zero personality or effort. People have already noticed UI elements, assets and other features being directly lifted from actual games and far better trailers.

    The big selling point here is what you’d expect. A living and breathing world filled with AI-generated dialogue and totally-not-stolen assets. As we’d expect, that living world is directly tied to an economy powered entirely by NFTs and proprietary cryptocurrency tokens. And judging from the trailer, literally none of that is true. You won’t see a world full of dynamic NPCs that can carry conversations, or a realistically modeled city. Keep reading to see what you were promised, and the crap that was actually thrown in your face.

    Just the video description alone should clue you in to how much this is just nonsense:

    Play with your friends, engage in shootouts, race cars, complete daily missions, and reach the apex of life. Earn money and buy what you want, from real estate to fancy clothes.     And if you weren’t convinced by all of that, just watch the trailer for Paradise XRPL. Count how many red flags you can find.

    So let’s see, stolen brand images for Kick and other streaming platforms. Likenesses of some of the biggest names in content creation used without permission. I’m sure Pokimane gleefully licensed her likeness for this slop.

    So what does this grand new transformational game play like? Crap, it plays like crap.  A recent playtest showed it off in all its fecal-stained glory. It’s a bland level cobbled together of premade assets with zero effort. These “developers” couldn’t even bother to include a proper navmesh or any sort of boundary detection, so any attempt to play this game will result in immediately falling through the world. Those high-speed cars you saw in the trailer just loop around the level and phase through both objects and the player.

    After years of uncertainty, stablecoin regulation is finally gaining momentum on Capitol Hill. Three competing bills—the GENIUS Act, the STABLE Act, and an unnamed proposal from Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA)—are vying to define the future of digital dollars in the U.S. This long-overdue push for clear rules will determine whether stablecoins could become a mainstream financial tool or remain stuck in regulatory limbo.

    Earlier this month, the Senate Banking Committee advanced the GENIUS Act with an 18–6 bipartisan vote, marking the most significant step toward a federal framework for stablecoins. The bill defines a “payment stablecoin” as any crypto asset used for payments or settlements, where the issuer is obligated to redeem it for a fixed amount of U.S. dollars. 

    Both GENIUS ACT and STABLE ACT establish the first federal licensing frameworks for stablecoins in the U.S. The GENIUS ACT, establishes licensing, reserve, and disclosure requirements while prioritizing consumer claims in bankruptcy. It regulates both bank and nonbank stablecoin issuers, balancing state and federal oversight.

    Issuers exceeding a $10 billion market cap, like Tether and Circle, must comply with OCC and Federal Reserve regulations, while smaller issuers can opt for state-level oversight.

    However, a key distinction here is that the STABLE ACT enforces a two-year moratorium on issuing new “endogenously collateralized stablecoins”—those backed solely by other digital assets—unless they existed before the bill’s passage.

    As Washington moves forward with regulatory efforts, the U.S. stablecoin industry is undergoing important changes. If these regulations are enacted, they could play a meaningful role in shaping the broader economy. 

    Stablecoins as a Digital Extension of the U.S. Dollar

    Notably — the GENIUS ACT designates payment stablecoin issuers as financial institutions under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, requiring them to uphold customer privacy and protect nonpublic personal information.

    Under the GENIUS ACT, stablecoins that receive regulatory approval will need to be backed by high-quality liquid US assets –treasury bills and insured deposits.

    The dual regulatory framework established by these bills is crucial. By balancing federal and state-level oversight, the legislation allows industry players to innovate at their own pace while maintaining regulatory safeguards.

    Beyond that, in recent months, traditional financial institutions have increasingly acknowledged the role of stablecoins, with companies like Stripe and Bank of America exploring their integration. Clear regulations will help reduce risks and facilitate adoption, contributing to a stronger financial infrastructure around the US dollar.

    Implications for USD Dominance

    Under the new regulations, any issuer operating in the U.S. market must back its stablecoin with dollar-denominated reserves. This means that many large-scale issuers will now have to convert their assets into dollar-denominated capital and reserves. So, by default, it will lead to increased adoption and reliance on USD. 

    As global demand grows, the US government can make sure that any crypto or stablecoin ecosystem developed in the country remains closely tied to USD. This alignment can help prevent foreign stablecoins or digital currencies from diminishing the dollar’s role in international trade.

    If the US creates an environment where digital dollars are both innovative and secure, global investors and companies may favor US-based stablecoin issuers. Enhanced interoperability standards, as outlined in the legislation, could drive smoother cross-border transactions and integration into international payment networks. 

    In the long run, this could shift market liquidity toward US-backed stablecoins, further solidifying the dollar’s dominance. Critics have warned that lax oversight could enable Big Tech to potentially privatize the dollar. However, by enshrining strict reserve and transparency standards, the bill minimizes this risk. 

    What lies ahead? 

    The GENIUS ACT brings stablecoins closer to mainstream financial integration, boosting demand for U.S. Treasury bills. When these bills are passed in the near term, they will likely cause a surge in institutional adoption. More traditional banks and payment providers will offer stablecoin services, and we will see more settlement and liquidity management through stablecoins. So, the stablecoin market cap will only become bigger as domestic usage surges in the US. 

    Once the stablecoin framework is in place, we could see the emergence of ancillary services – such as digital wallets, custody solutions, and interoperable payment networks. These services will further enhance the usability of US-backed stablecoins. These developments would create a broader ecosystem around the digital dollar.

    Over time, the US stablecoin market can reduce transaction friction and lower costs for cross-border payments. It could lead to higher velocity in digital transactions and broader financial inclusion, reinforcing the dollar’s utility. 

    The ability of US regulation to set global standards could also indirectly pressure other nations to align with US practices – further strengthening dollar dominance.
