You cannot be nice to everyone. Not everyone deserves it.
As we previously reported, Guy Fieri’s friendly fistbump with Andrew Tate received a lot of righteous backlash.
Some even pointed out that the Mayor of Flavortown has been seen rubbing elbows with other evil men.
Fieri is speaking out, admitting that he’s “devastated.” He promises that he can explain.

‘I was there to see the fights’
On Tuesday, April 14, Fieri tweeted a statement responding to the intense backlash.
“I’m seeing all of your comments about the photo from Saturday’s UFC event,” he began.
“And,” Fieri expressed, “ll I can say is that I’m devastated.”
He explained: “I was there to see the fights.”
His explanation continued: “And when I was walking through the venue, the Tate brothers stood up and said hello and that’s when the exchanged happened.”

Anyone could, in theory, be subjected to a friendly greeting from infamous men who are, among other things, accused of rape and human trafficking.
So why did Fieri respond to them with a fistbump instead of something more hostile, more righteous?
“I did not know them or about them before that moment,” Fieri claimed.
“I’ll never pretend to be a perfect person,” he added.
“But let me be crystal clear,” Fieri declared, “I do not know the Tate brothers nor do I support them in any way.”

The criminal cases against the Tate brothers are not new or a secret
Both Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, are facing a slew of allegations.
They’re under investigation for 21 offenses in the UK alone. There are also cases against them in Romania and the United States.
Even without the allegations, the brothers are very publicly disgraceful.
Andrew in particular is notoriously part of the “manosphere,” a toxic online community of the worst influencers alive, promoting misogyny, toxic masculinity, and unrealistic images of success.
Even if they were not accused of rape and human trafficking, Fieri greeting them so warmly would have been a scandal.

As you can see from the small sample of replies that we have included, even denizens of what was once Twitter aren’t buying Fieri’s claims.
Many challenged the idea that he’d so warmly greet men whom he believed to be total strangers.
Others pointed out that, for years, Fieri has made poor choices when it comes to his interactions.
As far back as 2023, he was called out and condemned for normalizing Donald Trump, who at the time was already threatening to retake power.
(Salon did a great piece on Fieri at the time, and it’s worth a read.)

Could he be telling the truth about not knowing?
Real talk: it is entirely possible that Fieri has no idea who Andrew and Tristan Tate are.
(Can you imagine? We like to be aware of the threats that exist out there, but we’re also deeply envious on some levels.)
Fieri was born in the 1960s. In fact, he’ll be 60 in a couple of years. He might not know two influencers who primarily target teenage boys with their sinister grift.
However, this again goes to the problem of Fieri’s lack of overall judgment. The same thing that’s gotten him into trouble for associating with other scumbags, like Trump.
Simply put, we get wanting to be seen as the friendly guy who’s nice to everyone. But if you’re open and friendly to everyone, you will drive some people away. Some people — like the Tate brothers — are undeserving of human kindness.

From 2010 to 2015, I ran Meet3D — one of the largest OpenSimulator grids in the world, with 309 regions. Educational institutions, businesses, and communities used it for training simulations, virtual events, and live collaboration. It was one of the most active grids outside Second Life, and building it taught me everything I know about distributed infrastructure at scale.
When I shut it down in 2015, I moved on to other things. I founded Sedina in Uruguay — the first company to legally commercialize cannabis-derived products in Latin America. I built a commodities trading operation in Brazil. I moved to China. Eventually, I landed in Thailand, where Sedina now operates in the legal cannabis market. And somewhere in the middle of all that, I started thinking about AI governance.
I never really left virtual worlds. I just took a detour through hemp, soybeans, and artificial intelligence.

Today, I run ThinkNEO, an enterprise AI control plane company based in Hong Kong. I am also building FOFO), a 100 percent open-source domestic AI robot. And I have returned to virtual worlds — this time with something I could not have built in 2010: ThinkSim.
ThinkSim is the successor to Meet3D. But it is also something entirely different. It is, as far as I know, the most technologically advanced OpenSimulator grid operating in the world today.
You can visit the grid via hypergrid at thinksim.space:9000 or create an avatar and log in directly.
Visitors from any other OpenSim grid can come in via hypergrid, access all the features, and take things back home with them — including 3D assets generated in-world, which belong to the avatar and can be taken back to their home grid.
Land rental is not available.
ThinkSim is not competing with other grids for residents — that is by design. I have no interest in pulling people away from their communities. What ThinkSim is, at its core, is a technology showcase and enterprise platform. Companies that want to use the space for presentations, conferences, product demonstrations, or simulations can rent space on a project basis — think venue rental, not neighborhood.
The grid is still being built, and its primary role is to showcase what ThinkNEO can do.
And, speaking of technology…
AI governance, integrated voice, 3D content creation, and AI agents
I did not return to OpenSim to build another social grid. I returned because I realized that a virtual world — properly architected — is the perfect demonstration environment for AI governance. Every interaction can be logged. Every agent can be audited. Every model inference can be attributed and controlled. So that is what we built. ThinkSim is not a grid with AI as an add-on. It is a grid where AI governance is the foundation.
For years, voice in OpenSimulator was a persistent headache. The options were fragile, expensive, or abandoned. I am proud to say we solved it. ThinkVox is a native dual-mode voice solution built directly into ThinkSim. It delivers full in-region proximity voice and grid-wide voice out of the box, with no dependency on external services and no additional cost to residents. If you have tried to run voice in OpenSim before, you will understand why this matters.

One of the things I am most excited about is native 3D content creation directly inside the virtual world. Residents can generate 3D meshes in-world using Hunyuan 3D from Tencent. But we did not stop at generation — every asset passes through an automatic Blender headless pipeline that fixes normals, generates four levels of detail, and unwraps UV coordinates. The finished mesh goes directly to the user’s inventory, ready to use. No external tools. No manual post-processing. You prompt, and you receive a usable 3D object in your inventory.
ThinkSim Government is a real digital certificate system built into the grid. It issues verifiable, cryptographically signed documents — certificates, credentials, academic records — directly from within the virtual environment. The certificates are not props or decorations. They are real, auditable, and persistent. We demonstrated this capability live with researchers from USP/ICMC — the University of Sao Paulo’s Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences.
Snapshot from ThinkSim grid. (Image courtesy Fabio Bastos.)
OpenClaw is our in-world AI agent framework. OpenClaw agents work alongside residents — they can handle requests, assist with tasks, interact with the environment, and execute governance workflows. Every inference call made by an OpenClaw agent routes through ThinkNEO. Every decision is logged. Every action is auditable. This is not a chatbot attached to a virtual world. These are governed AI workers operating inside a virtual environment.
I am an NVIDIA Inception member, and we have integrated NVIDIA models natively into ThinkSim. Nemotron and other NVIDIA models are available to residents and agents directly inside the grid. We have also built virtual NVIDIA DGX machines inside ThinkSim — physical representations of the infrastructure running behind the scenes. When you walk up to a DGX machine in ThinkSim, you are interacting with the actual governance layer that controls AI inference across the entire grid.
I started my career in media. I co-hosted a radio program on Radio Roquete Pinto in Rio de Janeiro. I built one of the first live streaming platforms in Brazil in the 1990s, years before YouTube existed. So it felt right to bring music back into the virtual world. Radio SUNO is an AI-generated radio station running continuously inside ThinkSim, producing music in real time as the ambient soundtrack of the grid.
Every single inference call made inside ThinkSim — by residents, by agents, by the grid itself — routes through ThinkNEO’s AI control plane. Runtime guardrails are enforced in real time. An immutable audit trail is maintained for every action. Costs are attributed per user, per region, per operation. Nothing runs ungoverned. This is not a feature. It is the architecture.
Snapshot from ThinkSim grid. (Image courtesy Fabio Bastos.)
The demonstration we ran with researchers from the University of Sao Paulo’s Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences was, for me, one of the most meaningful moments in this project so far. USP/ICMC is one of Brazil’s leading AI research institutions. The researchers who participated were Ricardo Marcacini, Brucce Neves dos Santos, and Willian Hans Goes Correa.
The demo ran a complete five-stage government AI governance workflow inside ThinkSim. In the first stage, a citizen submitted a request in-world via an OpenClaw agent — exactly as they might walk into a government office and fill out a form, except the agent received the request and began processing it autonomously. In the second stage, the AI agent processed the submitted document and validated the requester’s identity, cross-referencing the information against the grid’s data layer. In the third stage, ThinkSim Government issued a real digital certificate — cryptographically signed and QR-verifiable. This was not a simulation of a certificate. It was an actual verifiable document. In the fourth stage, a SHA-256 audit trail was generated and stored immutably — every action in the workflow recorded in a tamper-proof chain. In the fifth stage, ThinkNEO logged every inference decision made throughout the process, creating a complete governance trail from citizen request to certified outcome.
The USP researchers made unprompted references to future use cases for AI governance in Brazilian public institutions. That conversation is ongoing.

The AI engine that runs it all
ThinkNEO is the AI control plane that powers ThinkSim’s governance layer. It is also a standalone enterprise product that I sell to organizations that need to govern their AI deployments.
The core idea is simple: every inference call routes through ThinkNEO before reaching any model provider. ThinkNEO enforces runtime guardrails, provides full observability, attributes costs per business unit, and maintains an immutable audit trail. It is provider-agnostic — it works with Claude, GPT, Gemini, Nemotron, or any other LLM — and it requires no code changes on the application side.
As of April 2026, ThinkNEO is an NVIDIA Inception member and an approved Anthropic Partner Network member. Our MCP Server is listed on awesome-mcp-servers and Glama, with a free tier available with 500 calls per month, 12 governance tools, no credit card required.
Jeff Huber, the CEO of Chroma, responded personally to our FOFOCA project on a Sunday: “Very cool! Any way we can improve Chroma for your use case?” Pedro Minatel from Espressif’s Developer Relations team reached out within 48 hours of our outreach and invited us to publish a technical article on the official Espressif Developer Portal.
Can people license the tech for their own private grids? Yes. And this is actually the most exciting part.
I am currently developing a package of modules that will allow other OpenSim grids to integrate ThinkSim’s technology directly. My goal has never been to sell OpenSim itself, but to offer the innovations built on top of it to the broader community. The integration model works like this: grids will be ableto obtain an API key through a digital residency certificate issued by ThinkSim Government — so the certification system becomes the gatewayto the technology ecosystem.
ThinkVox, the voice solution, is already available for licensing by other grids and is, in fact, the only commercial service currently offered.
The vision is simple: ThinkSim is a place where people come to discover new technology and take it back to their home grids. Not a destination to live in, but a hub to learn from.

The Indian fancy market is changing fast, and one part that has seen great growth is high-end watch making. Once ruled mostly by Swiss big names, India is now making its own mark in timekeeping with more local brands that mix skill, history and new ideas. Now, buyers and style lovers are looking into Indian luxury watch brands that give not just accuracy but also a special cultural story.
Fancy watches are not just for telling time, they show wealth, style and a smart buy. This change has given Indian brands a chance to think of new ideas and make their mark in the fancy market, giving choices from made-by-hand dials to limited-series mechanical watches.
What makes Indian fancy watch brands especially cool is their skill to mix old art with new making. From watches that take after royal history to simple modern styles, these brands fit a lot of different likes. Plus, many Indian watch makers are now looking at their own movements, custom work and small production runs, big signs of true luxury.
In this big guide, we look at the best 20 Indian fancy watch brands in 2026 that are changing high-end watches in India. Whether you are a long-time collector or a person new to the world of fancy timepieces, this list will help you find the best Indian watchmakers that need a place in your collection.
Why Indian Luxury Watch Brands Are Rising
The rise of Indian fancy watch brands shows how what people want is changing, as well as the way things are made and a new love for local skill. In recent years, buyers in India are not just looking for foreign names but are now on the hunt for items that mix luxury with their culture. This shift in thinking has built a solid base for Indian watch makers to make their mark in the high-end area.
One of the main reasons for this rise is the growing wish for realness and tales. Today’s luxury buyers are not happy with products made in large amounts, they seek things that have meaning and uniqueness. Indian watch makers can do this well by adding parts of the nation’s deep history like old patterns, classic art types and stories from culture into their looks. This gives a feeling of value that makes them different from many worldwide rivals.
One more key thing is the rise of skilled work and tech knowledge in India. People who make watches are now putting money into better stuf͏f, making their ways of making things better and even creating their own skills. This has really boosted the quality and trustworthiness of Indian luxury watches, letting them compete more boldly on a world stage.
The growth of small independent brands has also helped this push. These little makers pay attention to special items, unique styles and direct talk with buyers which attracts people who want something rare and one-of-a-kind.
Also, the online world has had an important part. Social media and shopping sites have let Indian fancy watch labels reach a larger crowd, both at home and abroad. As more people notice them, these brands are not viewed as options but as tough players in the field of luxury timepieces.

What Defines a True Indian Luxury Watch Brand?
In the rising world of Indian fancy watch brands, not every nice-looking clock is real luxury. A real luxury watch is marked by a mix of skill, being rare, style thinking and the full feeling it gives to the person wearing it. Knowing these things is key when telling apart a high-end item and a truly fine one.
First of all, skill is very important. A real fancy watch shows exact building, care for detail and great finishing. From the parts inside the watch to the shine of the case and the sewing of the band, each part should show a high level of know-how. Many top Indian brands are now looking at improving these things to match world standards.
Next, the goodness of stuff is a key part. Fancy watches are made with fine parts like clear stone, top-notch steel, rare metals and tough skin. At times, Indian brands also use special local things or art bits giving a unique feel to their works.
Exceptionality is another main trait. Small batch making, numbered sets and special look bits add to a feeling of being rare which is key to the idea of luxury. Shoppers are often pulled towards items that seem personal and not common around.
Telling stories and the past also have a big part. Lots of Indian fancy watch brands set themselves apart by adding cultural tales, old hints or theme ideas into their looks. This makes the item more meaningful and valuable.
At last, new ideas and brand look help show real luxury. Whether by style, tech or thought a fancy watch brand must give something unique that makes it different. Together these parts make a watch that is not just useful but really special.
How to Choose the Right Indian Luxury Watch
Picking the right watch from the large choice of Indian fancy watch names needs careful thinking, as it is not merely a buy but an investment in style, skill and pers͏onal flair. With lots of choices out there; knowing your goals can help you make better and happier choices.
Begin by finding your aim. Are you searching for a bold item for special times, a nice watch for each day or a thing to collect? For formal places, choose simple styles with neat faces and leather bands. For daily use, think about handy options with strong stuff like stainless steel and sapphire glass which can take normal wear.
Next, watch how the timepiece moves. Hand-made and self-winding watches are often liked in the fancy group because of their skill and history charm; while battery-run watches give accurate time and easy care. Your pick should rely on if you like old watch-making or ease.
Stuff quality is another key thing. Fancy watches often use nice metals, scratch-proof glass and good straps. Make sure that the watch feels strong, nicely made and comfy on your wrist because these are signs of great workmanship.
You ought to think about the brand’s tale and name. Lots of Indian fancy watch brands are special due to their different stories- whether taken from Indian past, new ideas or current style. Picking a brand that matches your own look adds more value to your buy.
In the end, think about lasting worth. A nice fancy watch should stay important and useful for many years. Seek out designs that don’t go out of style, trusted after-sale help and special pieces if being unique is important to you. By mixing beauty, use and brand wor͏th, you can find a watch that really fits your way of living.
Future of Indian Luxury Watch Brands
The future of Indian fancy watch brands seems very bright, pushed by new ideas, changing customer likes and a rising global love for Indian skill. As the fancy market in India keeps growing, local watch makers are stepping up to change what “Made in India” means in the world of high-end timepieces.
One of the big changes that is changing the future is the growing look at home skills. More Indian labels are putting money into study, layout and making ways to form real movements and parts. This change from building things by putting them together to real watchmaking is a key step in making global trust and going against well-known world labels.
New ideas in design are also doing an important job. Indian watch brands are going past old styles and trying new looks, daring plans and special stories. At the same time they keep taking ideas from India’s rich culture, making a mix of old ways and new that pleases both local and foreign viewers.
One key thing is the growth of online places and ways to sell straight to buyers. These paths help brands talk directly with shoppers, create solid groups and grow their reach past space limits. So, even tiny brands are getting seen and known all over the world.
Sustainability is also hoped to be a big focus spot. With growing knowledge among buyers brands might start ͏to use kind sourcing, friendly-to-nature materials and careful making ways to match with world luxury rules.
In whole, the future of Indian fancy watch names is marked by rise, new ideas and worldwide goals. As these names keep changing, they are not only altering the Indian fancy scene but also placing themselves as strong players in the world watch market.
Investment Potential of Indian Luxury Watch Brands
As the market for Indian fancy timepieces keeps changing, one thing that is getting more notice is their money-making chance. Typically, fancy watches have been seen not just as fashion items but also as belongings that can hold or even grow in worth over time. While Swiss brands have ruled this area for a while, Indian watch makers are slowly joining the talks by providing special, few-made items that attract gatherers.
A main reason why people like to invest in Indian fancy watches is their uniqueness. Lots of new brands make a small number of each style, offering only a few pieces at a time. This limited supply makes them more wanted, especially by fans who appreciate being special. Watches that include old items like antique coins or designs based on culture also have extra meaning, which makes them easier to collect.
One more key point is brand rise. As Indian fancy watch names keep getting noticed at home and abroad, first buyers may gain from having items from names that will get more fame later. Just like some worldwide names had their first designs become very wanted, Indian names can have the chance to do the same way.
But, it is key to look at watch investing with a fair view. Not all watches will go up in worth and things like name fame, s͏kill, state and uniqueness matter a lot. Buyers should focus on good stuff and what they like along with possible gains.
At its core, Indian fancy watches are still new in the buying space but they give fun chances for people who like special items, tales and the shot to be part of a rising watch movement.
The Role of Heritage and Innovation in Indian Watchmaking
One of the most interesting parts of Indian fancy watch brands is the special mix of history and new ideas. Unlike lots of worldwide watch makers that depend a lot on old customs, Indian brands are quite young but strongly tied to rich culture. This lets them see history in a fresh way, making watches that seem both important and modern.
Lots of Indian watch names get ideas from the country’s past, buildings and successes. From styles inspired by kings and old art to sets that honor events like space travels and flying, these watches share tales that connect with Indian buyers. This tale-telling part gives extra meaning, making each piece more than just a useful item.
At the same time, new ideas have a big part in forming the future of Indian watchmaking. Companies are more and more using fresh technologies, good movements and worldwide design rules to go against foreign luxury brands. Working with talented artists and using better making methods also boost the whole quality and charm.
This mix of old ways and new ideas gives Indian fancy watches a unique look. They are not just copies of Western styles but instead real creations that show India’s changing place in the world of luxury. So, shoppers like these brands not only for their skill but also for the feeling of pride and being different they stand for.
Conclusion
The scene of Indian fancy watch names in 2026 shows a strong mix of old ways, new ideas and current style. What used to be a space ruled by foreign labels is now seeing the growth of local brands that are changing what luxury means on their own terms. From big names like Titan to up-and-coming small brands and special watch makers, India is slowly making a solid name for itself in the world of watches.
One of the best parts of Indian fancy watches is their tales. Unlike a lot of world brands that depend mostly on the past alone, Indian brands are making new stories— taking ideas from culture, history and modern style. Whether it’s a coin-filled face from Jaipur Watch Company or a space-themed group from Bangalore Watch Company these watches give something really special.
Another big strength is easy access. While usual fancy watches often have very high price tags, lots of Indian brands give top quality at fairly reachable prices. This opening up of luxury is pulling in a new group of buyers who want class without too much spending.
As the field keeps changing, the attention on skill, new ideas and uniqueness will just get bigger. With more worldwide interest in Indian making and styles it’s only a question of time before these brands get global praise.
To sum up, putting money into Indian fancy watch brands is not only about having a watch, it’s about backing a rising field that honors art, history and greatness. If you are a collector or a new buyer these brands give an interesting choice to usual luxury making them worth looking at in 2026 and more.

This is mainly because Swiss brands have years or even hundreds of years of history, plus very advanced production skills which make their prices m͏uch higher. Indian brands, while getting better fast, are still making their name and setup which lets them give lower prices.
Q5. What should I look for in a luxury watch?
When you buy from Indian fancy watch brands, there are a few important things to think about to make sure you’re making the right choice. Start with the movement; pick if you like mechanical automatic or quartz based on your lifestyle and interest in watch making? Next, look at the materials used, like sapphire glass, steel that does not rust or valuable metals, as these show how long it can last and its value.
Pirating requires you to have weapons, and while you’ll likely be getting involved in some cutlass swinging in Windrose, using flintlock pistols, as well as canons, are needed for much-needed range.
Obviously, the key ingredient to firing these is Gunpowder, and when you’re starting to craft these weapons, you’ll need a lot of it, especially if you’re playing with others.
It’s not exactly easy to secure, but we’ve got all you need to know.
How to get Gunpowder in Windrose
First off, you are actually able to secure some Gunpowder early on if you take down other pirates.
If you manage to defeat any of these enemy crews, there’s a chance that either they’ll have some on their body ready to loot, or there could be some hiding in crates in their camps.
Either way, this is pretty luck-based, and won’t exactly provide you with enough to keep you going.
Now, this is where crafting Gunpowder comes in. But you will have to advance through the main quests to get to this point.
In fact, you will need to have defeated the first main boss of the game, Thomas Richards, and reached the Foothills.
This is mainly due to the fact that Sulfur is required, and can only really be found in the Foothills area. You’ll need to mine it, so bring an Iron Pickaxe, and you’re looking for the large, cream-colored mossy rocks.
Once you have Sulfur in your inventory, you’ll need Ash. You’ll likely have some of this already if you’ve done a bit of wood burning, since it’s a by-product of Charcoal. If you don’t have any, though, get a Kiln going as it’s the easiest way to ramp up your stores.
With both of the materials, the key to mixing them together is the Millstone. You can make this with Millstone Parts and Wood, and when that is up and running, you should see an option to make Gunpowder.
Now you can make essentially an infinite supply for when you need to take on whoever wants a fight. No more relying on swords to do the dirty work.

Say what you will about the Online Mode, but you can’t argue with the scale and success that Rockstar Studios has gained ever since the launch of Grand Theft Auto 5. It’s garnered over 200+ million in sales copies with over $10+ billion in revenue. Pretty sure that latter figure (heavily) owes to the Online Mode’s microtransactions.
Numbers aside, Rockstar has always been regarded as one of the masters behind the sandbox model in video games. GTA 5, in particular, offers a wealth of stuff through its mini-games, side missions, and random events. And only when you try to tackle its dreary 100-percent checklist will you truly begin to realize the absolute scale of it all here.

8 Open World Games Reviewed Higher Than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Geralt’s good, but the critics think these are better.
However, as risky as it sounds to give an opinion on this game, what I’m here to present is my picks for open world games that offer a lot more to do than GTA 5. Take it with a grain of salt if you want, but this is all coming from someone who adores every HD GTA entry, including San Andreas most of all, and someone who even spent a worrying amount of hours with his friends in GTA Online.
10
Red Dead Redemption 2
The Wild West as Far as the Eye Can See
It only felt right to kick us off with the sister game of this giant, Red Dead Redemption 2. RDR2 is essentially an evolution of Rockstar’s sandbox design philosophy, dare I say, nailing everything to perfection.
From bounty hunting and gambling to hunting and fishing, even random events are present here. The only key difference is that the content has a much higher and broader scope than what you’d find in GTA 5.
It genuinely begs no question how much attention to detail is displayed here to the point where people are still comparing this game to current-day open-world titles on launch. You’ve also got an incredibly rich cinematic story with a protagonist who wins players’ hearts by the end of his journey.
9
Elden Ring
FromSoftware’s Magnum Opus
The launch week of experiencing Elden Ring with my buddies will always be a core memory for me in video games; discovering and sharing secrets, getting tilted in boss fights, and discussing builds. Ever since GTA 5 and a couple of other games before it, it genuinely felt like the entire world was at a standstill when FromSoftware finally launched this beauty.
It has everything from deadly catacombs, perilous caves, a slew of optional world bosses, and even legacy dungeons, which end up becoming the turning point for the game’s main progression. Understandably, you may not end up digging the brutal combat that the Soulsborne games are known for, but the point is that this game has the best of everything to offer for fans who patiently waited for it.
You’ll be spending hundreds of hours in your first playthrough trying to scratch off everything that you can find in each of the major regions/areas. And if you end up getting hooked, I also highly suggest checking out the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for even more to do.
Just a Normal Day-in-the-Life of the Dragonborn
Comparing Skyrim to GTA 5 is almost like apples vs oranges; it’s not really about which one is “bigger” or “better,” but rather about what kind of freedom each game gives you. And that’s where Skyrim quietly pulls ahead in terms of the sheer amount of stuff to do. Anyone who’s ever played it can easily attest to why this is one of the most re-released games of all time.
Want to ignore the main story entirely? You can spend dozens of hours joining factions like the Thieves Guild or Dark Brotherhood, mastering magic, becoming a blacksmith, hunting dragons, or even just wandering into a random cave that turns into a full-blown questline. The game constantly throws unexpected stories at you without asking.
And of course, you just can’t ignore the infamous modding scene. Skyrim’s community has essentially turned the game into an endless platform with the amount of mods at its disposal. New quests, new lands, graphical overhauls, survival mechanics, you name it.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
A Viking’s Life for Me
At a surface level, you can easily make a valid claim that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Grand Theft Auto V are both massive open-world games packed with content. While I’m personally a fan of Origins and Odyssey, Valhalla is pretty much the most well-versed Vikings game out there, as long as you pretend it isn’t Assassin’s Creed anymore.
I say that because AC Valhalla is hellaciously bloated. It depends on how you view a hefty open-world RPG, since this game is constantly feeding you structured activities tied to your progression from building a Viking settlement from the ground up, performing raids on strongholds with your brethren, or even just actively shaping Eivor through skill trees, gear builds, and playstyle choices.
And finally, there’s the historical setting of Dark Ages England, along with Eivor’s overarching storytelling. This is by far the most polarizing aspect of the game for many players, but if you can enjoy and pay attention to a narrative that has multiple arcs with distinctive plot elements, then this is something you won’t mind.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Pioneered the Sandbox Meta into a New Direction
Earlier, we mentioned how Rockstar was one of the founders of what a sandbox video game should be. However, the wizards at Nintendo said otherwise with the launch of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a fully-fledged open-world entry in the legendary series where curiosity is constantly rewarded.
Almost everything you see in BOTW has a purpose. Climbing a steep mountain? There might be a hidden shrine at the top. Wander off the road? You’ll likely stumble into a puzzle, a Korok seed challenge, or a major enemy/boss fight. The game is filled with over a hundred shrines, each serving as a bite-sized dungeon, so exploration almost always leads to something tangible and rewarding.
And then there are the physics and chemistry systems, which are honestly the secret sauce of this game and the sequel. You can constantly experiment with new ways to overcome situations with Link’s abilities/gadgets to the point where you can approach an enemy camp in a multitude of ways or entirely skip a shrine’s puzzle section.

Yakuza 0
Party Like it’s the ’80s
Yakuza 0 kick-started my adoration for the series, and though it is (understandably) way more compact than GTA 5’s Los Santos, it delivers wholeheartedly in the content department.
It has two protagonists, each with their own intertwining storyline, in two different cities to explore. The Yakuza series is known for its handful of mini-games. Despite their small-scale size, both Kamurucho and Sotenbori have a ton to offer in that regard and then some.
From dancing in clubs, pounding away fighters in the underground arenas, or just pocket racing to live your inner child as Kiryu, you’ll never have a dull moment with this serious yet equally hysterical crime-drama title. Oh, and try not to get too overly attached to the Real Estate and Hostess Club Management activities for both Kiryu and Majima.

Crimson Desert
A Massive and Ambitious World Teeming with Adventure
Fresh off the boat from the launch and now continuously getting updated with new improvements and QoL features, Crimson Desert is an open-world RPG that fully leans into the single-player MMO experience. While many big sandbox games give you a massive playground, they can sometimes feel like a series of isolated icons on a map.
However, in Crimson Desert, the world of Pywel is built on systems that actually reward you for taking the time to check them out or tackle them. There’s an insane variety in the gameplay systems here; Combat alone isn’t a one-note experience since it blends melee, ranged options, physics-based interactions, and even large-scale battles at various intervals.
The game isn’t afraid to throw different tones and experiences at you, from your quiet moments of exploration with Kliff to chaotic, cinematic moments, sometimes all within a short span of time. That constant shift keeps things fresh and gives you more reasons to stay engaged beyond just progressing the main story.

Cyberpunk 2077
Night City is Your Playground
Cyberpunk 2077 may not have had the perfect or most riveting launch ever, but darn it, I’m willing to always make a claim on why this game had one of the best comeback stories in the industry, to the point where it became one of my favorite games of all time. And I say that as someone who played it way before the overhaul introduced by the infamous patch 2.0 and Phantom Liberty DLC.
Although an open-world RPG and not akin to the sandbox model of GTA 5, the way Cyberpunk 2077 just makes you feel immersed in its world is one of my favorite things ever. Night City is easily one of the best-designed worlds in gaming, filled to the brim with various gigs, side missions, NCPD encounters, and character quest lines; it feels near-limitless early on.
Most importantly, it has one of my favorite character creator systems, especially with how you can tune it via modding. I’ve spent a worrying amount of hours just customizing my V with new cosmetic mods to even ones where it adds new stuff to check out in Night City.
2
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Wind’s Howling
What really gives The Witcher 3 its sense of endless adventure isn’t just the sheer size of its world, but more so, it’s the way that world is brimming with meaningful, story-driven content that keeps drawing you in.
Right from the start, it’s clear that nearly every side quest is crafted with care to feel like they’re as important as the main story ones. One minute, you’re assisting a villager in finding a lost family member, and the next, you find yourself caught up in a morally complex or grey scenario filled with curses, betrayal, or something even more sinister.
On top of that, the game is packed with different types of activities that don’t feel repetitive. You’ve got Gwent (which was so deep it spawned a standalone game), treasure hunts, crafting, alchemy, and monster contracts; all of which beautifully connect back to the world and its rich lore.
1
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Rising with the Sun, Sleeping When it Sets
While I’d strongly recommend that you play the first game, don’t let that undermine the fact that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is one of the most immersive open-world RPGs ever produced. It goes far beyond the gameplay restrictions that Rockstar has put in place for their modern titles, like GTA 5.
It is one of those rare titles that gives you the full package, featuring a near-perfect blend of both quantity and quality, as well as one of the few games that truly encapsulates the feeling of living in medieval times and how we pampered gamers are going to have a brutal time surviving it. No, really, it is brutal to learn the mechanics it introduces, including the combat fundamentals.
You’ll be digging yourselves out of the trenches by any means necessary, whether through stealing, doing a job, hunting poachers in the forest, or even opening up your own blacksmith and selling weapons on the side (provided that you have the Legacy Of The Forge DLC).

What looks like one of the most impressive games ever made with Godot Engine, the solo-developed hardcore Road to Vostok has entered Early Access. Note: personal purchase.
In a Steam announcement the developer posted that it’s seen over 140,000 sales already since the release a week ago. Steam players overall have given it a Very Positive rating too, so clearly it’s hitting the mark for plenty. Impressive, considering the developer admitted to having basically no marketing for it. Considering the sale, it has “secured the entire development roadmap” which is incredible news for it.
For those of you who want some realistic shooting, but don’t want to be forced into online play or co-op, this could end up being the shooter for you. It really is impressive what the developer has achieved with it. I really like that you can play it your own way, you’re not really tied into any particular path. If you like exploring, looting and shooting in a world that forces you to actually survive then it’s a good one to pick up.
I’ve been getting a bit of a DayZ vibe with this one, but without the zombies. More peaceful. But still quite tense as you don’t know what you’re going to find as you run through it. Takes a good while to learn all the mechanics though, and the locations as it’s quite easy to get completed lost. It’s pretty uncompromising. It makes the loot goblin inside me quite happy though, running around filling up on lots of weapons and random items.
My two main criticisms of it right now: firstly, the intro – it’s just a rather plain video with voice over that’s a bit of a lore dump that just feels like it goes on and on. My brain just sort-of switched itself off while the voice was talking at me. Spicing that up a little bit is going to be needed I think, as the slightly unclear comms made me miss some of it and I promptly forgot everything it said at me shortly after anyway. Secondly, the save system. I want to get more immersed in it, but being forced to a shelter to save is a nuisance.

📊 Goldman Sachs Just Filed for a Bitcoin Income ETF
Goldman Sachs filed with the SEC on Tuesday for the Goldman Sachs Bitcoin Premium Income ETF – one of the bank’s first direct crypto product filings and its most significant Bitcoin move yet.
The structure: the fund holds exposure to spot Bitcoin ETPs and sells call options on 40–100% of that exposure, collecting premiums it distributes to investors as monthly income.
In practice, this means upside participation gets capped in strong rallies, and in exchange, investors collect yield. It’s the same covered-call playbook Goldman already runs on the S&P 500 via GPIX (~8% annual yield) and the Nasdaq via GPIQ. BlackRock just launched a similar income ETF for Bitcoin as well.
The biggest players in TradFi are finding more and more crypto products to offer their customers.
Key Details:
Goldman Sachs filed for a Bitcoin Premium Income ETF that sells call options on 40–100% of BTC ETF exposure to generate monthly income; earliest launch late June/July 2026
The structure: holds spot Bitcoin ETP exposure, sells covered calls to collect premiums; trades away some upside for steady yield
Context: Goldman already holds $1.1B+ in IBIT on its balance sheet
💳 Tether Launched a Wallet
Tether, the world’s largest stablecoin issuer with $184B USDT in circulation, launched tether.wallet on Tuesday as its first consumer-facing product.
The self-custodial app lets users hold and send USDT, USAT (its US-regulated stablecoin), XAUT (gold-backed token), and Bitcoin across Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and the Lightning Network. Fees are payable in the asset being sent and no gas tokens required.
Users simply need a user name (name@tether.me instead of hex strings) to get started, and private keys stored on device.
CEO Paolo Ardoino pitched it as the “People’s Wallet,” designed for a future where humans, machines, and AI agents all transact on the same rails. Notably, Tether built the wallet on its open-source Wallet Development Kit – the same toolkit it’s been positioning for AI agent payments.
Key Details:

The pitch: CEO Ardoino calls it the “People’s Wallet” for humans, machines, and AI agents, built on Tether’s open-source Wallet Development Kit
The strategic move: Tether goes direct-to-consumer for the first time, with 570M wallets already on its network
📈 Circle Stocks Jumps As CEO Teases ARC Token
Jeremy Allaire dropped one sentence at Circle’s Seoul event Tuesday that moved the stock: Circle is exploring a native token for Arc Network, its Layer-1 blockchain currently in testnet.
The token would handle governance, incentives, and economic alignment, with a gradual transition to proof-of-stake.
Allaire described it as “potentially Circle’s most significant platform-level strategic move since the creation of USDC.” CRCL stock rose 7% on the news.
Circle’s Arc already has BlackRock, HSBC, Visa, Goldman Sachs, and AWS on the testnet. Allaire’s vision is an “economic OS for the internet” – institutional financial workflows moving entirely on-chain. A native token would give Arc a governance layer and an incentive mechanism for validators as it transitions to PoS.
Given the major TradFi theme for 2026, let’s just say a Circle token would have very high expectations…

Coronation Street fans have been left fuming after spotting two key characters missing from Todd’s harrowing abuse storyline. And viewers are all asking the same question.
Tonight’s emotional episode sees Todd finally go to the police and reveal the full extent of what he’s been suffering at Theo’s hands. While he bravely tells his story, his nearest and dearest are back on the cobbles, anxiously waiting and rallying around him.
But despite the outpouring of support, fans have been quick to notice that two very important people in Todd’s life haven’t been even mentioned. And it hasn’t gone down well.

Todd’s family and friends have been there for him
For months, Coronation Street viewers have been watching in distress as Theo isolated Todd and subjected him to abuse behind closed doors. It’s been a tough storyline, making tonight’s episode all the more significant as Todd finally speaks out.
As expected, his friends and extended family waste no time in showing their support. Some are so outraged by what’s happened that they even go as far as threatening Theo, making it clear just how much Todd means to them.
However, while the cobbles have rallied, fans have pointed out a glaring absence — Todd’s own mum Eileen and brother Jason.
Fans want to hear from Eileen or Jason (Credit: ITV)
Where are Eileen and Jason Grimshaw?
The lack of any reference to Eileen and Jason throughout the storyline has left viewers scratching their heads. For long-time fans, it feels especially strange given how close the Grimshaw family has always been.
Jason left Weatherfield back in 2016 for a new life in Thailand, while Eileen was last seen on screen just last June. With that in mind, many viewers can’t understand why neither has been contacted about what Todd has been going through.
While it’s true that Todd kept the abuse hidden for some time, fans believe that once suspicions started to grow, reaching out to his closest family should have been a priority.
And viewers haven’t held back in sharing their thoughts.
Taking to social media, one fan wrote: “At what point will someone in Corrie decide it’s time to contact Eileen and Jason to let them know what is happening to Todd?”
Another suggested a possible explanation, saying: “I’m sure George will mention soon that he contacted Eileen. And she’ll probably not be able to get back for some reason or another.”
But others weren’t convinced. One viewer replied: “I don’t think you could keep Eileen away if she knew. I can only think Todd insists nobody contacts them. Maybe eventually he will tell them when he’s in a position to fly straight out to Thailand.”
A third added: “Ridiculous that they’ve not even been mentioned!”
And another fan echoed the same frustration: “Eileen would have been on the very next plane home!”
Whether the show addresses their absence remains to be seen — but for now, it’s clear viewers are desperate to see Todd’s closest family back where they belong: by his side.

A sudden shift in global geopolitics has reignited momentum across the crypto market, triggering one of the most aggressive short squeezes in recent months. Following a ceasefire announcement between the United States and Iran, more than $600 million in short positions were liquidated almost overnight, propelling Bitcoin back above the critical $72,000 threshold and injecting fresh optimism into a market that had been weighed down by uncertainty.
The move was swift, decisive, and telling. It wasn’t just a rally – it was a structural reset driven by forced buying, shifting sentiment, and a renewed appetite for risk assets.
A Geopolitical Catalyst Ignites Crypto Markets
Markets had been on edge for weeks amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, particularly around the Strait of Hormuz – a key artery for global oil supply. When news of a two-week ceasefire emerged, the reaction was immediate. Oil prices dropped sharply, easing inflation concerns and removing a major macroeconomic headwind for risk-on assets like crypto.
Bitcoin surged past $71,000 within hours, while Ethereum followed closely, climbing over 6% to reclaim the $2,200 – $2,300 range. At the same time, total crypto market capitalization surged past $2.5 trillion, signaling a broad-based return of capital into digital assets.
But beneath the surface, analysts point to a crucial nuance: this rally was not entirely driven by organic demand.
$600M Short Squeeze Follows Ceasefire
The Mechanics of a $600M Short Squeeze
The primary driver behind this surge was a massive liquidation of bearish positions on derivatives exchanges. Traders who had bet against Bitcoin were forced to buy back positions as prices rose – creating a feedback loop that accelerated the rally.
This phenomenon, known as a short squeeze, often results in sharp, short-term price spikes. According to market data, hundreds of millions in short positions were wiped out, effectively acting as forced fuel for Bitcoin’s upward momentum.
However, this raises an important question: how sustainable is the rally?
Several analysts remain cautious. Despite the strong price action, spot trading volumes, representing real buying demand – remain relatively weak compared to historical norms. This suggests that while prices are rising, the underlying conviction may not yet be fully established.
The Mechanics of a $600M Short Squeeze
Bitcoin’s Range: Breakout or Consolidation?
Over the past two months, Bitcoin has largely traded within a defined range between $64,000 and $74,000, a pattern often associated with consolidation phases in broader market cycles.
While the recent move pushes BTC toward the upper boundary of this range, breaking decisively above $78,000 remains a challenge without a strong catalyst.
Some forecasts suggest a bullish scenario where Bitcoin could test $75,000 – $80,000 in the near term. Others remain more conservative, warning that a retracement toward $54,000 is still possible if momentum fades.
The divide reflects a broader debate: has Bitcoin already found its bottom, or is this simply a relief rally within a larger bearish structure?

Institutional Signals Add Complexity
Adding another layer to the narrative is renewed institutional activity. A major digital asset investment firm recently raised over $1 billion to accumulate Bitcoin – an event widely interpreted as a strong vote of confidence in the asset’s long-term trajectory.
At the same time, ETF flows paint a mixed picture. While Bitcoin ETFs have seen notable outflows, Ethereum ETFs are beginning to attract steady inflows, suggesting a subtle shift in investor preference.
This divergence could signal a rotation within crypto markets rather than a simple, unified bull trend.

Ethereum: Quiet Strength Beneath Resistance
Ethereum’s performance in this cycle has been particularly noteworthy. Beyond price action, several on-chain indicators point to strengthening fundamentals.
ETH is currently trading near its “realized price” – a key metric representing the average cost basis of all holders. Historically, this level acts as resistance during weak trends but can flip into support when sentiment improves.
Additionally, the Coinbase Premium Index – a measure of U.S. investor demand – has remained positive in recent days, indicating sustained buying interest from American institutions.
Yet, risks remain. Funding rates in derivatives markets have turned negative, suggesting traders are still leaning bearish. Combined with technical resistance near $2,388, Ethereum faces a critical test: break higher and confirm strength, or face rejection and consolidation.

Pepeto and the Return of High-Risk Capital
While Bitcoin and Ethereum dominate headlines, the current market cycle is also witnessing a resurgence of speculative capital flowing into early-stage and presale tokens.
Among them, Pepeto has emerged as a notable example, raising over $8.8 million during a period of extreme market fear. The project positions itself as an infrastructure-focused ecosystem, offering zero-fee trading tools and cross-chain capabilities.
This aligns with a familiar pattern in crypto cycles: when macro uncertainty fades, capital rapidly expands into higher-risk, higher-reward opportunities.
However, this segment of the market also carries significant risks. The influx of new tokens increases the likelihood of vulnerabilities, scams, and unsustainable tokenomics. As a result, due diligence, particularly around smart contract audits, has become more critical than ever.
Market Psychology: Fear, Greed, and Timing
Perhaps the most important takeaway from this latest rally is psychological rather than technical.
Crypto markets are uniquely sensitive to shifts in sentiment. Fear can suppress prices far below intrinsic value, while relief, such as a geopolitical de-escalation, can trigger rapid, outsized rebounds.
The Fear and Greed Index, which recently hovered at extreme fear levels, underscores this dynamic. Historically, such conditions have often marked accumulation phases for long-term investors.
Yet timing remains everything.
Early participants in previous cycles, those who entered before major catalysts, have historically captured the majority of gains. Whether this pattern repeats in the current cycle will depend on a combination of macro conditions, regulatory developments, and sustained capital inflows.
What Comes Next?
Looking ahead, several key factors will shape the trajectory of the crypto market:
Macroeconomic stability: Continued easing of geopolitical tensions could support further upside.Regulatory clarity: Upcoming policy discussions, including frameworks like the CLARITY Act, may influence institutional participation.Liquidity flows: Sustained inflows into spot markets will be critical for confirming a true bullish reversal.Technical breakouts: Key resistance levels – $78,000 for Bitcoin and $2,388 for Ethereum – remain pivotal.
For now, the market sits at a crossroads.
The $600 million short squeeze has provided a powerful reminder of how quickly conditions can change. But whether this marks the beginning of a sustained uptrend, or merely a temporary relief rally, remains an open question.
Final Take
The ceasefire-triggered rally has reignited momentum across crypto, but it has also exposed the fragile foundation beneath recent gains. Short squeezes can drive prices higher, but lasting trends require real demand.
Bitcoin is testing the upper bounds of its range. Ethereum is showing signs of structural strength. And speculative plays like Pepeto highlight the market’s appetite for risk when sentiment shifts.
For investors, the message is clear: opportunity is returning, but so is volatility.
In this environment, the winners won’t just be those who move first – but those who understand why the market is moving at all.
