Shiba Inu (SHIB) experienced a volatile trading week, with prices fluctuating widely before recovering slightly on April 16, drawing attention from traders in the cryptocurrency market. This token has increased by more than 5% over the past 7 days.
Trading activity remained at a high level during this period, while on-chain data did not show a corresponding increase in the number of transactions and active addresses.
Market Overview: Price and Volume
Over the past week, SHIB recorded an increase of about 5.47% in 24 hours and 5.01% over a 7-day timeframe, with the price trading around the $0.0000062 zone according to data from CoinMarketCap. Market capitalization remained around the $3.6 billion mark, showing that the scale of this asset remains stable within the mid-cap meme coin group.
SHIB price chart (1H). Source: TradingView
Trading volume was also a notable point, with over $155 million in the past 24 hours and a total of nearly $930 million for the entire week. This level of liquidity shows that trading activity maintained a significant scale throughout the week, reflecting the continuous participation of investors.
Despite the modest price increase, maintaining high trading volume amid volatility suggests that SHIB remains a speculative asset that attracts short-term cash flow.
Choppy Price Action Reflects Unstable Momentum
SHIB’s price performance over the past week showed a high level of volatility, with alternating upward and downward movements in short timeframes. On the 1-hour SHIB/USDT chart, the price fluctuated between approximately $0.00000574 and $0.00000623, reflecting a relatively wide trading range.
Instead of forming a clear trend, the price frequently reversed after short bursts of volatility, showing that market momentum lacked stability throughout the period. Upward runs were not sustained for long, while downward moves were also quickly narrowed.
In recent sessions, the price has tended to recover and approach the upper bound of the trading range. However, this movement still falls within the previously established wide fluctuation structure, not yet enough to confirm a sustainable uptrend.
Flows and Activity Suggest Trading-Driven Interest
On-chain data from CryptoQuant shows that capital flows through exchanges have undergone significant changes during this time. On April 9, SHIB recorded a large outflow, with net withdrawals reaching nearly -200 billion tokens. However, by April 16, netflow turned positive, with inflows peaking at about +355 billion tokens — the highest level in the period.
The shift from outflow to inflow indicates that tokens are returning to exchanges, usually associated with increased trading activity. Although exchange inflow is often seen as a sign of potential selling pressure, SHIB’s price still recovered at the same time, suggesting that this flow could also be related to increased trading demand amidst a market recovery.
On the on-chain side, the total number of daily transactions fluctuated in the 3,000 – 5,000 range, with a peak of around 5,000 transactions on April 10 before decreasing to 3,256 on April 12. Meanwhile, the number of active addresses increased to about 2,568 on April 10, dropped sharply to 1,707 on April 11, then gradually recovered to over 2,000 in subsequent sessions.
SHIBA INU: Active addresses (7D). Source: CryptoQuant
This shows that attention toward SHIB mainly comes from market trading activity, while on-chain indicators — including both transactions and active addresses — did not record an increase corresponding to the price recovery.
Volatility Keeps SHIB in Focus
SHIB’s performance over the past week was characterized by high price volatility, sustained trading volume, and capital shifts across exchanges, rather than from a clear catalyst related to the project.
The wide range of fluctuations, along with high sustained trading activity, helped SHIB attract market attention, as traders capitalized on short-term volatility to seek opportunities.
Nevertheless, on-chain indicators did not record an increase corresponding to the price recovery, with the number of transactions and active addresses only fluctuating within a narrow range. This suggests that attention toward SHIB during this period was primarily driven by trading momentum, rather than long-term fundamental factors.

I’m not someone who adds just any spring dress to my closet — it has to feel special. Think: boutique-level fabrics, flattering, waist-defining fits and that effortless “where did you get that?” energy. . . all of which usually comes with a much higher price tag. So imagine my surprise when I came upon a mix of Amazon styles that fit the bill, starting at just $32.
Even better, these aren’t overly trendy pieces you’ll wear once and shove to the back of your closet. I found wrap dresses that cinch in all the right places, breezy silhouettes that glide over everything and eye-catching prints (including vibrant florals and soft pastels) that still feel wearable. They’re the kind of throw-on-and-go dresses that look expensive — without the boutique markup.
I’m Picky, But These Amazon Spring Dresses Feel Like Boutique Finds
1. My Favorite: This long-sleeve maxi is ideal for cooler spring days. The longer length and lightweight sleeves keep it comfortable, while the textured, tiered design gives it an elevated, expensive-looking finish.
2. Pretty Puff Sleeve: There’s just something about puff sleeves that instantly makes any dress feel more fun. This one combines a flattering smocked top with a breezy, tiered skirt and subtle floral texture for an easy, spring-ready look.
3. Fun Florals: If your wam-weather wardrobe could use a little color, Zesica’s belted midi dress does the work for you. The vibrant print, flutter sleeves and tiered skirt create beautiful movement, while the tie waist pulls everything together.
4. Swiss Dot Stunner: This wrap-style midi is the definition of flattering. The tie waist creates shape, while the ruffled hem and Swiss dot texture add soft movement with every step.
5. Very Vibrant: This vibrant shift dress feels like a standout boutique find. The flowy silhouette ensures it’s easy to wear, while the bold, abstract print adds a statement-making finish.

6. Waist-Slimming: I love a dress that can handle brunch and whatever comes after, and this one does just that. The cinched waist defines the shape, while the airy tiers make it comfortable enough to stay in all day.
7. Must-Have Mini: This floral V-neck mini is exactly what I reach for when I want something cute but low-effort. The smocked waist gives it some shape, while the flowy skirt keeps things light and easy.
8. Figure-Accentuating: I always reach for silhouettes like this when I want something instantly flattering. The wrap-style waist cinches just right, while the flowy skirt smooths everything out in the best way.
9. Statement Shoulder: There’s something about a one-shoulder moment that instantly catches my eye — it’s a detail that makes a dress feel more elevated. This one still feels fuss-free thanks to the breezy skirt and soft floral print.
10. Pretty Pastels: A pastel palette feels so fresh this time of year, especially after a winter of dark neutrals. I love how the defined waist balances out the airy, floaty silhouette.
11. Fabulously Flowy: A smocked bodice is both incredibly comfortable and flattering. This design hugs just right up top, then flows out into an easy, airy skirt.
12. New and Notable: This floral ruffle maxi is one of those new arrivals I’d immediately add to cart. The square neckline adds structure, while the breezy skirt and subtle waist definition keep it light and effortless.
13. Elegantly Embroidered: The details on this piece make it look more expensive than the price tag. The eyelet embroidery adds depth, while the soft, tiered skirt keeps the design relaxed and feminine.

The ancient forum, at the heart of Rome
By Andrew Borda.
Rome is often a first port of call for visitors to Italy, due to its history, beauty and climate. I’ve had the great fortune of spending a lot of time there over the past three years, and can only agree that the moniker Roma Caput Mundi (Rome, capital of the world) is largely deserved.
However, from a sartorial point of view Rome is usually overshadowed by Naples, Milan and Florence. While there are certainly fewer famous menswear brands here, I’ve discovered a lot of relatively unknown gems and believe that Rome can easily hold its own from a sartorial point of view.
The workshop of Tommy & Giulio Caracani
Tailors and other artisans
As mentioned above, Rome does not have the same reputation as Milan, Florence or Naples as a bespoke destination. This is somewhat unfair, as Rome may have more high-quality tailors and shoemakers than any of those cities.
I believe this is partially due to the fact that Rome is the capital of Italy, and institutional political and business settings in Italy are still very formal; partially due to the sheer number of well-off tourists who come to Rome with money to spend; and partially due to the fact that Rome is very large and so there are some neighbourhoods where lower rents mean artisans and independent retail can still survive.
Tommy and Giulio Caraceni tommyegiuliocaraceni.com
My tailor since 2023. There is probably little that I can write here about T&G Caraceni that has not been written already. For anyone who is interested in a deep dive, please read the review published here in PS.
A bespoke tailor of the highest quality, T&G offers a cut that sits somewhere between the strong and square Milanese and the soft and rounder Neapolitan, which has changed little since Domenico Caraceni founded the house almost 100 years ago.
The house has dressed some of the most famous Italian and European actors, politicians and businessmen of the 20th and 21st centuries, and is probably the best representation left in Italy of the ‘Italian Industrialist’ look that many people such as me so desire.
Gaetano Aloisio www.gaetanoaloisio.com
Aloisio is a famous bespoke tailor reviewed in PS by Bruce Boyer here. Aloisio is one of the few high-end Roman or Milanese tailors who travels and is known to serve an international clientele, especially in the Middle East and Asia.
Aloisio also has a ready to wear offering of casual clothing and accessories made of the most luxurious materials.
Sartoria Ripense www.sartoriaripense.com
Ripense is a bespoke tailor located near Piazza del Popolo, loved by Manish Puri and my friend Paul Fournier. Readers who are interested can read a full review here. I have not tried anything myself, but with those two vouching for their work I can only trust that the product is excellent.
Manish (right) at Sartoria Ripense
Stivaleria Mercurio www.mercurio1932.it
My shoe maker since 2022. Stivaleria Mercurio is a third generation bespoke shoe maker run by the father and son team, Antonio and Lorenzo Mercurio.
Antonio Mercurio was trained by his father and the Roman shoemaker Angelo Gatto, and is the official bootmaker of the Italian Carabinieri’s mounted regiment and the Corazzieri honour guard of the President of the Republic. Among Italian lovers of bespoke footwear, Gatto’s shoes are considered legendary and Mercurio is known to be his rightful heir.
Mercurio is the first bespoke shoemaker I have found who manages to combine a deep knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the foot with an aesthetic sense of beautiful shoes. They literally saved my feet and I would not go anywhere else to have shoes made.
The workshop is located in the barracks of the Carabinieri mounted cavalry regiment, which is worth a visit on its own. Bespoke shoes start at €2300 plus VAT.
Marini calzoleriamarini.com
Gianni Agnelli’s shoemaker, who has a beautiful shop on Via Francesco Crispi. I have not personally tried them but the product looks to be of very good quality. Marini were mentioned previously in PS here.
Bocache & Salvucci bocachesalvucci.com
Very beautiful shop with locations on Via Sistina and Via Francesco Crispi offering RTW of the highest quality, as well as bespoke shoes and tailoring. Due to the largely international clientele, much of the offering won’t be what PS readers are looking for, but one can be sure that the materials used are exceptional. B&S were reviewed in PS here.
Teodori Brothers teodoribrothers.it
A superb value, family-run shirtmaker which is favoured by Douglas Cordeaux of Fox Brothers. They carry a wide range of cloths and have some great collar styles – all inspired by film and TV – to chose from. Manish is currently in the middle of a commission with Teodori, and a review is expected later this year.
Simone of Teodori Brothers
Shops
Rome, like Paris and London, is a massive city and very spread out. Given that size, it isn’t possible to list all of the interesting shops in one article. I have tried to mention a few which are mainly clustered in a few areas away from the usual designer shops on Via Condotti and Via del Babuino, and the high street offering of Via del Corso.
Cruciani & Bella www.crucianiebella.com
A lovely small shop on the first floor of an apartment building on Via Bocca di Leone. Cruciani & Bella specialises in men’s accessories and has a nice selection of ties, socks, pocket squares, scarves and braces from English and Italian makers.
Giki www.giki.it
The elegant Trieste-Salaria residential area has a number of nice independent menswear shops, of which Giki is one. Probably the best independent shoe store in Rome, selling brands such as Edward Green, Baudoin & Lange and Alden.
Gentleman www.gentlemansabatello.it
A menswear shop from another era on Via Po, offering a great selection of cashmere and shetland knitwear made for them in Italy and Scotland. Villa Borghese is another interesting multi-brand shop offering brands such as Valstar and is not far away.
Schostal pyjamas
Schostal www.schostalroma.com
Schostal needs no introduction for PS readers, as it was reviewed here in the past. The best location in the city for socks, pyjamas, underwear and other basics. There are other Schostal businesses in Rome, but the location on Via della Fontanella di Borghese is the best and most central for visitors.
Eurotex www.eurotex-rome.com
Eurotex is a cloth merchant that is relatively unknown to tailors outside Italy, located a short walk from the Vatican. Their range is small compared to larger merchants such as Harrison’s or Drapers, but a few of their bunches such as cashmere jacketings, cotton drill and worsted cashmere suiting are exceptional.
Typical of many more traditional Italians, they have a preference for English wool and Scottish cashmere and much of their selection is made to their own designs.
Huit Cinq huitcinq1988.bigcartel.com
Huit Cinq is a bespoke maker of watch straps and other small leather goods, owned by Federico De Peppo. I’ve had a few straps made by him in a broad range of more and less exotic leathers and have been very satisfied. Huit Cinq works with clients around the world and ships globally.
Inside Gammarelli
Gammarelli gammarelli.com
An ecclesiastical tailor and the provider of socks to members of the clergy, Gammarelli is a gorgeous little shop and worth a trip. They make lovely cotton lisle socks in many colours, other than the red, black and purple they are most famous for.
LGR www.lgrworld.com
LGR is an Italian eyewear brand founded in Rome with shops in Milan, Florence and Venice. While the quality is not at the levels of bespoke artisans such as Maison Bonnet or EB Meyrowitz, many of the designs are interesting and LGR provides a nice, discreet alternative to ubiquitous luxury branded sunglasses.
Atelier Bomba atelierbomba.com
Atelier Bomba is a lovely shop near the Piazza del Popolo making hand made knitwear and tailoring for men and women onsite. It is a true artisanal shop, a wonderful place to spend time and a group of people who are really passionate about small-scale production. Simon covered them previously in PS here.
Michele, Bomba
Chez Dedé www.chezdede.com
Chez Dedé is a multibrand shop on Via Monseratto selling accessories, books, and furniture. It has real character – as the best multibrand always do – and it’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re part of someone else’s world. Also a nice street to wander away from the crowds. It was covered in more depth on PS here.
Ottica Astrologo otticastrologo.com
Ottica Astrologo is an independent optician on Via della Fontanella di Borghese, virtually next door to Schostal and LGR. Manish featured three pairs of sunglasses recommended by Astrologo in his article in PS. Astrologo also has a location on Via Po, very near to Gentleman and Villa Borghese, for readers who venture in that direction.
Giuliva Heritage
www.giulivaheritage.com
Giuliva Heritage is a very interesting brand making men’s and women’s tailoring founded by Margherita Cardelli and Gerardo Cavaliere that was featured in PS here. The look is a bit stronger than many PS readers would naturally gravitate to, but is certainly very cool. Giuliva has an atelier than can be visited on appointment on Via Monserrato, close to Chez Dedé.
Giuliva Heritage
A Sartorial Roman Holiday
For readers who want an alternative to visiting the usual sites in Rome, I have provided some suggestions below for a sartorial ‘Roman Holiday’. I assume that many who don’t live in Rome will stay somewhere in the centre and my Holiday has been designed for everything to be within easy walking distance from Piazza del Popolo or Piazza di Spagna.
Breakfast at Rosati
For me, the best way to start the day in Rome is with coffee at Rosati, preferably early before the Piazza del Popolo starts to fill up with people. Looking towards the Pincio from the Tiber side of the piazza on a sunny day never ceases to put me in a good mood.
Before Lunch
From Piazza del Popolo, many of the shops and ateliers mentioned above are within an easy walk. I would suggest focusing on a few streets that have a high concentration of independent retail and artisans, such as Via Ripetta (Sartoria Ripense), Via dell’Oca (Atelier Bomba), and Via della Fontanella di Borghese (Schostal, Ottica Astrologo, LGR).
Lunch at Settimio all’Arancio
After all that walking, readers will have worked up an appetite. Settimio all’Arancio on Via dell’Arancio is a family-owned restaurant serving a mainly Italian clientele of politicians and businessmen that is hard to beat.
After Lunch
In order to work off the calories ingested at lunch, I would suggest readers carry on towards the Regola neighbourhood, which has a high concentration of interesting independent retail. Via Monseratto is particularly interesting, with Chez Dedé, Giuliva Heritage and Le Tre Sarte (https://www.letresarte.com/, for PS readers’ better halves) representing highlights.
The Aperitivo
The aperitivo before dinner is an institution in Rome. It is worth noting that meal times in Rome are later than Northern Europe or even Northern Italy, with most locals not meeting for the aperitivo before 7pm or dinner before 8.30pm.
Some of my favourite places for the aperitivo are Salotto 42 in Piazza di Pietra, which is particularly beautiful when the bougainvillaea are blooming, or the roof terrace of the Hotel Locarno, the hotel which is said to have provided inspiration for Wes Anderson’s film the Grand Budapest Hotel. If readers are looking for something a bit more laid back, Enotoca Buccone on Via Ripetta is a very nice wine bar.
Dinner
If any readers are still hungry after all of that walking, one cannot go wrong with dinner at Al San Lorenzo, which offers some of the best fish in Rome.

Years ago, Epic frequently filled the Fortnite island with collectibles that players could find for XP, but they didn’t do much of that the past few chapters. But the collectibles have returned in a big way in Chapter 7 Season 2, with the dozens of Chaos Cubes that are scattered all over the island.
There are currently 50 cubes available to discover in Fortnite’s main Battle Royale mode, with 20 more seemingly planned to pop up at various points over the course of the season. For the most recent batch of cubes, added to Ripped Tides with the April 16 update, scroll all the way to the bottom of this article.
This is probably related to the battle between the Ice King and the Foundation somehow, and there’s a good chance the Last Reality, with its alien invaders and chrome monsters and army of cubes, is involved somehow.
Collecting these cubes isn’t just a purely for-fun side activity, as collecting a cube awards 4,000 XP, collecting all five cubes in a region awards 40,000 XP, and collecting all 70 on the entire map (which is not currently possible) will award 80,000 XP. That will all eventually adds= up to 14.5 account levels in total, which makes these cubes worth pursuing as you go about your business.
Fortunately, they aren’t too hard to find. They aren’t particularly well hidden, and they give off a sound similar to that of a treasure chest when you’re near one, along with an exclamation mark and a visualized audio ping (for those who have that setting turned on) to show you where it is. So it’s not that time-consuming of a hunt. And while some of them might be tough to reach without movement items, you won’t have to do any complicated platforming sequences to collect the cubes.
And we’ll make it even easier for you by showing you where on the map each cube is, which should make it easy to run the island collecting them. Scroll on to see where you can find every cub currently sitting around the Fortnite Battle Royale island.

The cubes in this area are even more scattered than they are at Fore Fields. Several of the cubes here are close to cubes from other regions than they are to each other.
41. Inside a white RV parked in the woods.42. In the secret cave–enter through the zipline above, or through the main entrance to the north hidden by a bush.43. Inside the New Sanctuary vault, which we cannot open yet.44. On the diving board at the end of the large indoor swimming pool in the building in the far southwest of the area.45. Under a small UFO between several boulders.
Ripped Tides cubes
The chaos cubes at Ripped Tides are relatively concentrated, with three of them found in the town itself and the other two just outside it to the north and the east.
46. Between a large old tree and a small shack, you’ll find a glowing shrub with a cube inside it.
47. This cube is found in the skate park area, inside the mouth of a shark statue.
48. Under an umbrella on the beach is an open cooler with this cube inside it.
49. In the main square in town is a tattoo parlor–inside it, you’ll find this cube sitting in a chair.
50. To the east of town is a two-story shack, with a wooden box next to its front door. Break that box to get the cube.
Microsoft is lining up a new wave of Copilot and Teams capabilities—features that are in preview, targeted release, or scheduled rollout over the coming weeks and months. Here’s what’s on the way, when to expect it, and why it matters.
Across Copilot and Teams, Microsoft is pushing from “AI assistant” toward “AI execution”—with more model options, more in-flow actions, smarter agents, richer meeting recaps, stronger controls for external participants, and better support for multilingual collaboration. Some of these experiences are already in limited rings, but many organizations will see them arrive as rollouts progress.
Here’s information of a selected what’s coming. Keep in mind that Copilot and Teams, yes Teams too, are evolving all the time and there are a lot more updates coming to both.

Microsoft is expanding model selection in Microsoft 365 Copilot by adding Anthropic Claude Sonnet alongside OpenAI’s GPT models. If you have a Copilot license, you’ll be able to choose Claude Sonnet from the model selector in Copilot Chat as this rolls out. I can already see it in my demo tenant.
Microsoft has indicated this is starting in Frontier and then expanding across web, desktop, macOS, and mobile..
If you don’t see this yet and want to test out Claude already, you can use it in the Researcher Agent (if Anthropic models are allowed in your environment).
Claude Opus 4.7 in Microsoft 365 Copilot
But this is getting even better with Claude Opus 4.7! Microsoft is expanding model choice with Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.7 is available in Microsoft 365 Copilot — specifically in Copilot Cowork (Frontier) and in Copilot Studio early release cycle environments — and it is also rolling out to Copilot in Excel.
Opus 4.7 is designed to be faster and more precise than the earlier Opus generation. It follows instructions more closely, checks its own outputs before responding, and reads images at higher resolution — so Copilot can interpret visual content with more detail and use Work IQ context to take action more precisely. It is also better at picking the right tool for the task, which matters a lot when you are running multi-step, agentic work.
You will find Opus 4.7 in the model selector in Copilot Cowork and Copilot Studio, and in the near future in Copilot in Excel. This is exactly the kind of cutting-edge, enterprise-grade model choice that makes Microsoft 365 Copilot — and Copilot Cowork especially — so powerful for real work.
Why this matters:
This isn’t just about having options—it’s about matching the right model to the right task. Claude Sonnet is known for strong performance in document analysis, nuanced reasoning, and content generation. Giving users the ability to pick their model based on the work they’re doing is a clear signal that Microsoft sees Copilot as a multi-model platform, not a single-model product.
There are governance implications too. Anthropic operates as a Microsoft subprocessor, and the models are excluded from EU Data Boundary commitments. In regions where Anthropic is set to “off by default,” admins will need to opt in. This is a good reminder that AI governance is now part of everyday IT administration.
Draft and Send Outlook Emails Without Leaving the Copilot Chat
One of the most practical capabilities on the roadmap: Copilot Chat will be able to draft, edit, and send Outlook emails without leaving the chat interface as this feature rolls out.
In tenants where it’s enabled, when Copilot detects email-writing intent it can open an embedded Outlook compose experience inside Copilot Chat. You can review and edit the content, modify recipients, and send—or open the draft in Outlook to continue there.
Microsoft has described this as a desktop-first (“big screen”) rollout with completion targets in early April. Availability depends on rollout ring, tenant configuration, and prerequisites (Microsoft 365 Copilot license and an Exchange Online mailbox).
Why this matters:
This is one of the clearest examples yet of Copilot shifting from assistant to execution surface. Instead of generating a draft that you copy and paste into Outlook, Copilot can now complete the entire workflow. Less context switching. More doing.
It’s also a sign of where this is going: Copilot as the place where work happens, not just where you ask questions about work.
Did you know you can already use Copilot Chat to book meetings?
Declarative Agents Upgraded to GPT-5.2
Microsoft 365 Copilot Declarative Agents have been upgraded to the GPT-5.2 model, which brings improvements in reasoning, multi-step workflows, tool calling, structured output generation, and document analysis.
Users may notice improvements in quality, accuracy, and formatting—along with slight behavioural differences due to the model change.
Why this matters:
If you’ve built Declarative Agents, this is a good time to test your top prompts and workflows before the change reaches all users. The upgrade is automatic, and there are no new admin controls, but Microsoft recommends validating key scenarios and using the thumbs-up/thumbs-down feedback with the tag #GPT52 to help improve detection of any issues.
More broadly, this update reinforces that agents are a core part of Microsoft’s Copilot strategy—and the platform is evolving quickly to support more complex, reliable agent behaviors.
Teams Will Identify External Bots Joining Your Meetings
Microsoft Teams is introducing a new capability to detect external meeting assistant bots as they attempt to join meetings hosted by your organization.
The feature specifically targets bots used for transcription, summarization, and other meeting assistance services. When detected, these bots will be clearly labelled in the meeting lobby experience.
The rollout begins in mid-May for Targeted Release and completes in mid-June for general availability (including GCC tenants).
Why this matters:
This is about visibility and control. Microsoft notes that some external bots can access meetings without the knowledge or consent of the organizer or hosting tenant, creating data security, privacy, and compliance risks.
This update gives organizers greater awareness and gives admins clear controls over how detected bots are handled. It’s a timely response to the growing ecosystem of third-party meeting bots—and a reminder that AI governance extends to who (and what) participates in your meetings.
There may still be bots that go undetected, so Microsoft is encouraging users to report them directly from the meeting to help improve detection over time.
Teams Meetings Video Recaps
Intelligent meeting recap in Teams is adding video-based recaps—narrated video highlights that showcase key takeaways and important moments from recorded meetings.
This feature is expected to reach general availability in April 2026.
Why this matters:
Text-based recaps are helpful, but video recaps are more consumable and more engaging, especially for people who couldn’t attend the meeting. This is a natural evolution of Teams’ intelligent recap capabilities toward multimodal summary experiences.
It’s also another example of how AI is making meetings more accessible after the fact—reducing the pressure to attend every meeting live and making it easier to stay aligned across time zones and schedules.
Teams Is Adding Turn-by-Turn Interpretation
Microsoft is planning a Consecutive Interpretation mode for the existing Interpreter agent in Teams.
Unlike simultaneous interpretation, this mode uses turn-by-turn interpretation: participants speak one at a time, and each speaker’s words are interpreted before the next speaker begins. It’s designed for structured, interactive multilingual meetings like working sessions, negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration.
The feature rolled out to Targeted Release in early March and will reach general availability between late April and early May.
Why this matters:
This is one of the most distinctive “future of AI meetings” stories in this set. It shows that Microsoft is thinking beyond captions and transcription and moving toward real-time, structured multilingual collaboration.
For global teams, this reduces overlap, improves interpretation accuracy, and helps everyone stay aligned—even when they don’t share a common language. It’s a practical example of AI enabling collaboration that would otherwise be slow, expensive, or impossible.
Channel Agents Are Getting a Level-Up
Microsoft is rolling out several updates to Channel Agent in Teams to make it more collaborative and more practical.
The updates include:
Customized welcome messages based on channel context
The ability to disable automatic Channel Agent creation during team or channel setup
Improved scheduling suggestions using updated calendar logic
The ability to add members to a channel with prompts like “@agent add John Doe to this channel”
The ability for Channel Agents to post messages directly to a channel
This feature has been rolling out to Targeted Release since early March and should be complete on every tenant around this time. A Microsoft 365 Copilot license is required.
Why this matters:
This is a strong example of agents becoming operational and collaborative, not just informational. Channel Agents are moving into the flow of teamwork—helping with scheduling, adding people, and posting updates without needing a human to do it manually.
It’s another signal that agents are becoming teammates, not just tools.
Copilot is Just Getting Started
If you step back and look at what’s in the rollout pipeline, a clear pattern emerges:
Copilot is becoming more powerful, more actionable, and more configurable. You can now choose your model, execute work directly in Copilot Chat, and rely on smarter, more capable agents.
Teams is becoming more intelligent, more secure, and more multilingual. You get richer recaps, better visibility into who’s joining your meetings, and real-time interpretation that makes global collaboration feel effortless.
And across both products, Microsoft is making it clear that AI isn’t just about answering questions—it’s about doing work, enabling collaboration, and making decisions. This article was just about coming updates and improvements to Copilot and AI in Teams – however I suggest you read my earlier article about Digital Workers to see where we are heading.
If you’re managing Copilot or Teams in your organization, soon is a good time to:
Review your governance settings, especially around model choice and external meeting bots
Test your Declarative Agents to make sure they’re performing well on GPT-5.2
Start thinking about how features like Copilot email drafting and Channel Agents change the way your teams work
The future of work is being built in real time. And it’s moving faster than most of us expected.
Have you ever caught yourself staring at footage of astronauts floating around the International Space Station and wondered: Wait, how on earth—or rather, off-earth—do they actually swallow their food? I was going down a massive rabbit hole about space habitation the other night, and I literally lost my mind when I uncovered the mechanics behind this. We are so used to the idea that things fall down because of gravity that we assume our food drops into our stomachs the exact same way. It turns out, our bodies don’t need gravity at all to digest food.
As someone who is obsessed with the intersection of human biology and futuristic tech, I honestly think the human body is like a highly advanced, pre-programmed spacecraft. We didn’t evolve in space, yet our hardware is fully equipped for it. Let’s dive deep into the fascinating mechanics of zero-gravity dining and why your digestive system is basically a biological marvel.
The Magic of Peristalsis: Your Internal Anti-Gravity Drive
If gravity isn’t pulling that space-taco down to an astronaut’s stomach, what is? The answer lies in a brilliant biological mechanism known as peristaltic movement (or peristalsis).
When you take a bite and swallow, your throat doesn’t just open up and let the food free-fall. Instead, the walls of your esophagus are lined with incredibly strong, involuntary muscles. These muscles perform a synchronized, wave-like dance:
The Contraction: The muscles right above the food contract, pinching the tube shut so the food can’t go back up.The Push: The muscles below the food relax, allowing the bolus (the chewed food) to move forward. The Wave: This rhythmic squeezing travels all the way down your digestive tract, literally forcing the food into your stomach.
Think of it like squeezing a tube of toothpaste from the bottom up. It doesn’t matter if you hold the tube upside down, sideways, or in the vacuum of space—if you squeeze it right, the paste is coming out exactly where it needs to. Because of peristalsis, an astronaut can eat a meal completely upside down in microgravity without choking or having their food float back into their mouth.
If Swallowing is Easy, What Makes Space Dining So Hard?
So, if swallowing works perfectly fine, why do space agencies spend millions of dollars developing specialized space food? As I dug deeper into this, I realized that while our internal plumbing is ready for space, our external environment in a spacecraft is incredibly hostile to normal eating habits.
Here are the massive hurdles astronauts actually face when it comes to food:
1. The Danger of the Floating Crumb
In microgravity, a crumb isn’t just an annoyance; it is a catastrophic hazard. If you eat a regular, flaky piece of bread in space, the crumbs will float in every direction. They can be inhaled by the crew, causing serious respiratory issues, or worse—they can drift into the spacecraft’s delicate electronic panels and cause a short circuit or a fire.
Fun Fact: Back in 1965, during the Gemini 3 mission, astronaut John Young smuggled a corned beef sandwich onto the spacecraft. When he took a bite, rye bread crumbs started flying everywhere. NASA was definitely not amused, and strict “no-crumb” protocols have been in place ever since! Today, astronauts use specially formulated tortillas instead of bread.
2. The “Fluid Shift” Phenomenon (aka The Space Colds)
Here is something that genuinely surprised me. On Earth, gravity pulls our bodily fluids downward into our legs. In space, without gravity, those fluids distribute evenly, which means a lot of fluid rushes to an astronaut’s head.
This causes their faces to puff up and their sinuses to become completely congested—similar to having a terrible cold. Because their noses are blocked, their sense of taste and smell dramatically decreases. This is exactly why astronauts are absolutely obsessed with spicy foods like jalapeños, sriracha, and horseradish. They literally need that intense heat just to taste their meals!
3. Burping is a Nightmare
I couldn’t write this without mentioning this hilarious, yet highly uncomfortable biological glitch. On Earth, gravity separates the gas and liquid in your stomach. The gas rises to the top, allowing you to burp cleanly. In zero gravity, the gas and the food/liquids in your stomach mix together into a chaotic, floating bubble. If an astronaut tries to burp, they end up experiencing what NASA refers to as a “wet burp” (essentially vomiting in your mouth). Because of this, carbonated drinks like soda and beer are strictly banned in space.
The Human Body: The Ultimate Biological Spacecraft
When you look at the sheer adaptability of our systems, it’s hard not to be in awe. We evolved on a planet with a constant 1G of gravitational force for millions of years. Yet, the moment we strap ourselves into a rocket and leave our home planet, our bodies say, “No gravity? No problem. I’ve got a backup system for that.”
From our muscular esophagus pushing food down like a hydraulic pump, to our vestibular system trying to recalibrate our sense of balance, we are walking, breathing survival machines. As we look forward to the Metaverse, deep space exploration, and eventual missions to Mars, it’s comforting to know that our “biological hardware” is already cross-compatible with the universe.
We are constantly building better rockets, stronger materials, and smarter AI to survive the void, but sometimes, the most advanced piece of technology on a spacecraft is the human sitting in the pilot’s seat.
Over to You!
Researching this completely changed how I view something as simple as eating dinner. It’s crazy to think that a biological wave inside our throats is the very reason we can survive in the cosmos.
What do you think about this crazy system? If you were sent to the International Space Station tomorrow, knowing that your taste buds would completely dull out, what is the one extremely spicy or flavorful food you would demand to take with you? Let’s discuss in the comments below!
Christina Applegate is currently hospitalized in Los Angeles … TMZ has learned.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … she was admitted in late March, though the exact reason for her stay remains unclear.
The actress has battled multiple sclerosis since first being diagnosed in June 2021, but it’s unclear if her hospitalization is related to the disease.

This follows a March 31 announcement from Applegate’s MeSsy podcast co-host, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, that the show would go on a brief hiatus while both hosts were on book tours. Sigler has lived with relapsing MS for more than 20 years.
Christina’s rep tells TMZ … “I have no comment whether she is in the hospital or what her medical treatments are. She’s had a long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly open about, as evidenced in her memoir and on her podcast.”
Applegate published her memoir, “You With the Sad Eyes,” last month. In it, she details the daily effects of the disease, writing, “When I wake up, I often can’t get my arm to move far enough to grab the cup of water by my bed or my phone from its charger.”
She adds the illness makes her prone to infection, sending her to the emergency room regularly.
In the weeks since video of Taylor Frankie Paul assaulting Dakota Mortensen was made public, Paul has maintained that footage of the altercation did not tell the whole story.
Now, it appears she’s been somewhat vindicated.
In photos obtained by TMZ, Taylor and Dakota are both sporting facial injuries that were allegedly caused by one another.

That doesn’t change the fact that Taylor is on camera hurling metal barstools at Dakota. But she may have been telling the truth when she claimed she was a victim as well as an aggressor.
Whatever the case, there’s more good news for Paul, as we now know that she will not face any new criminal charges in connection with further claims made by Mortensen.
According to People, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office announced on April 14 that it will not pursue charges stemming from additional alleged incidents involving Paul and Mortensen.
The office said some of the allegations fell outside the statute of limitations, while others either did not rise to the level of criminal offenses or lacked sufficient evidence and specificity to move forward.
As the DA’s office explained in letters obtained by People, some incidents lacked ‘specificity as to when and what actually occurred or corroboration.”
The office also noted that the case was reviewed by “multiple attorneys” due to Paul’s public profile.

Following the news, Paul took to social media with an emotional statement.
“Cried when I got the call. THANK YOU to those that have stood with me,” she wrote (per People).
Clearly, Taylor is grateful to those who supported her through the legal and personal turmoil of the past several weeks.
The reality star’s response reflected a sense of relief after weeks of uncertainty surrounding the investigation.
This latest decision applies only to the new allegations investigated in 2026.
As People notes, this does not change the 2023 case, in which Paul previously pleaded guilty in abeyance to aggravated assault after a separate incident involving Mortensen.

That earlier case remains a significant part of the public conversation surrounding Paul, particularly after leaked footage of the incident led ABC to cancel Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette.
For now, however, prosecutors have made clear that no new charges will be filed in connection with the most recent allegations.
And for Paul, that development appears to have brought at least some measure of relief amid what has been a deeply public and painful chapter.
“It’s sad to see the latest installment of his never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child,” a rep for the reality star said in a statement last month.
“Releasing an old and selectively edited video on their son’s birthday is a reprehensible attempt to distract from his own behavior.”
Hopefully, now Taylor and Dakota can both move on from this messy incident.
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson says the latest Bitcoin improvement proposal won’t be able to save all the Bitcoin vulnerable to quantum computing.
The proposal would block, then freeze old coins, across three phases before a potential recovery could take place for those that missed deadlines.
Hoskinson says at least 1.7 million coins, from before 2013, would still be at risk of being stolen.
A new Bitcoin improvement proposal dubbed BIP-361 seeks to save as much as 34% of Bitcoin’s supply—or more than 7 million coins valued at $536 billion—by freezing coins that don’t migrate to quantum-resistant addresses in the future.
But Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson says it will still leave as much as 1.7 million coins, or $127 billion worth of BTC, vulnerable.
The proposal, which would play out over multiple years, is broken into three phases whereby older signature schemes on the network would be phased out. First, inflows to vulnerable addresses would be blocked, then legacy coins would be frozen, with the final phase allowing for the recovery of any Bitcoin held that missed movement deadlines.
“That’s a lie,” Hoskinson said of the final phase, claiming that 1.7 million BTC would not be recoverable under the plan. “It’s not possible.”
“You could recover some of the 8 million Bitcoin, but 1.7 million are not under this scheme,” Hoskinson said. “All of the 2013 Bitcoin and before,” he added, referring to Bitcoin held before the introduction of the key generation of BIP-39, which introduced the seed phrase.
At least 1.1 million of those coins Hoskinson pointed out belong to pseudonymous Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakomoto, whose purported stash is believed to be worth as much as $82 billion, according to data from Arkham Intelligence.
Nevertheless, Hoskinson said “it’s not a bad proposal.”
“I understand why they wrote it,” he said. “Because if they don’t do this, that money will be stolen in the 2030s. That’s a fact.”
“Q-Day,” or the name given to the looming threat at which point quantum computers can break Bitcoin’s cryptography, has been an increasingly relevant topic of late. In March, Google issued a 2029 deadline for transitioning its infrastructure to a “post-quantum cryptography”—a high-profile sign that the quantum threat may be nearing faster than previously expected.
Though Hoskinson understood the proposal, the Cardano and Ethereum co-founder was critical of the Bitcoin community of maximalists who he believes have been unwilling to innovate or adopt features embraced by other blockchain communities.
“If you had on-chain governance, you could solve it,” Hoskinson said. “We have it at Cardano, Polkadot has it, Tezos has it—it’s a good idea.”
“But we’re shitcoiners, we don’t have good ideas,” he added with a facetious tone. “Only you guys have good ideas.”
