I’m A Celebrity star Gemma Collins hailed as she shares ‘beautiful’ swimsuit snap

I’m A Celebrity star Gemma Collins has left fans full of praise after sharing a striking, unfiltered swimsuit snap on Instagram today (Saturday, April 18), just hours after opening up about the intense body scrutiny she faces.

The TOWIE favourite spoke candidly during last night’s episode of I’m A Celeb, revealing how public opinion has affected her confidence over the years.

I’m A Celebrity star Gemma Collins’ body ‘scrutiny’ admission

During Friday night’s show (April 17), Gemma got emotional as she chatted with Scarlett Moffatt and Adam Thomas about the pressure she’s felt around her appearance.

“There’s all the scrutiny. I never used to worry about it. But cos everyone goes on body image about this that and the other you then become like thinking you’re disgusting and ugly every day because of all the pressure and people saying horrible things,” she said.

“And actually I’m just alright as I am you know. This is me. I get sick of it, this diet that diet, this pen, that pen. You know at the end of the day I think we’ve just got to accept all of us come in different shapes and sizes and we can all be beautiful in our own way.

“It’s really whats in your heart. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder at the end of the day,” she added.

Following the episode, Gemma took to Instagram to share a photo of herself enjoying a dip in a pool beside a waterfall in South Africa, proudly embracing her natural look.

“There I stood, at the edge of a wild South African lake, sun warming my skin like it already knew me. No mirrors. No filters. No expectations. Just water… waiting. And for a second, all those old whispers tried to follow me in, telling me to cover up, to shrink, to be less. But the lake didn’t whisper. It roared in silence,” she wrote.

“It said: You are not too much. You are not not enough. You are nature, standing in nature. So I stepped in. And with every ripple, I let go… of judgment, of comparison, of the idea that my body was ever meant to be anything other than alive. The water held me the same way the earth does, without question, without condition. In that moment, I wasn’t thinking about how I looked. I was feeling how I lived,” she continued.

“Strong. Free. Unapologetically here. This body… has carried me, protected me, brought me to this exact, beautiful place. And today, in this wild, open water, I honour it. Not when it’s smaller. Not when it’s different. Now,” she added.

Gemma also urged her followers to move away from heavily filtered content online.

“Exactly as it is. @imacelebrity. We just need to understand that living the life through a filter constantly is not healthy for anyone, not for you, the young girls of today, and boys; everyone is living a lie. If Instagram removed filters and all these apps were not available, we would get a much truer realness of what the reality REALLY is,” she said.

Fans ‘in tears’ over Gemma’s post

It didn’t take long for fans and famous friends to rally around the star, flooding the comments with supportive messages.

Scarlett Moffatt shared a string of heart-eye emojis, while Jesy Nelson wrote: “We love you, Gemma.”

“Protect Gemma at all costs,” one fan commented.

“Cried real tears reading this- how beautiful and TRUTHFUL!” another said.

“This is beautiful @gemmacollins, I spend a lot of time outdoors in nature, because nature doesn’t judge,” a third added.

“You are one in a million, Gemma,” another wrote.

“We all love you, Gemma [heart emoji] beautiful inside & out x,” a fifth gushed.

How RUDSAK Turned Outerwear Into a Luxury Style Statement – The Luxury Lifestyle Magazine

How RUDSAK Turned Outerwear Into a Luxury Style Statement – The Luxury Lifestyle Magazine

A single black leather jacket started it all. In 1994, Evik Asatoorian set up shop in a weathered brick building in Montreal’s garment district and built something many in fashion assumed would never endure: a luxury outerwear brand with lasting character.

Thirty years later, RUDSAK stands as one of Canada’s most recognized names in elevated fashion, a label that didn’t just sell coats but rewrote what a coat could mean. Now, with momentum building across the U.S. and international markets, the brand is entering a new chapter that suggests it is only just getting started.

From One Jacket to a Full Wardrobe Vision

Canadian winters are unforgiving. They are also, it turns out, the perfect pressure test for a brand with ambitions beyond the ordinary.Asatoorian launched RUDSAK with a sharp eye and a clear conviction: that outerwear deserved the same creative attention as any other piece in a luxury wardrobe. The early collections married shearling, nylon, and leather in ways that felt ahead of their time. “I wanted to create a brand that reflected our heritage but with a European flavor,” Asatoorian has said.

What made RUDSAK different was its refusal to treat outerwear as an afterthought. Other brands layered function on top of style or sacrificed one for the other. RUDSAK did neither. Each piece moved through the in-house design process with the same rigor applied to a tailored suit or a fine leather bag. Silhouettes were refined season after season, building a visual language that became instantly recognizable on the streets of Montreal, Toronto, and eventually New York.

The brand grew steadily through wholesale before opening its first flagship in 1999. Retail locations multiplied across Canada, and the collections expanded well past outerwear to include footwear, handbags, ready-to-wear, and accessories. Still, the coat remained the centerpiece. It was the thing that drew people in and the thing that kept them coming back.

A Brand That Earns Its Place Among the Best

The global outerwear market is a crowded place. Names like Canada Goose, Moncler, Mackage, and Moose Knuckles occupy serious territory within premium fashion. Competing in that space requires more than good materials and clean lines. It requires cultural credibility, and RUDSAK has spent three decades building exactly that.

At the 10th Annual Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards in 2023, RUDSAK was named Outerwear Brand of the Year, a distinction that placed it above a strong field of nominees and confirmed what loyal customers already knew. The recognition carried weight precisely because CAFA represents the highest level of peer acknowledgment within Canadian fashion. Winning against labels like Quartz Co., Mackage, Canada Goose, and Moose Knuckles made the statement clear: RUDSAK had graduated from beloved Canadian label to undisputed category authority.

The brand’s momentum wasn’t built on awards alone. Its retail footprint expanded into the Eastern United States, with retail locations in New York, Boston, and Chicago drawing American shoppers who had discovered RUDSAK through e-commerce. Premium wholesale and dropship partnerships with Revolve, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdale’s added another layer of prestige, placing RUDSAK alongside the global names that occupy the upper tier of department store real estate.“We design for the urban, ageless individual who is expressive and confident,” Asatoorian told Forbes. That description has proven remarkably durable. It captures something true about the RUDSAK customer: someone who sees their coat as a statement, not just a shield against the weather.

The Lifestyle Brand That Still Knows Its Roots

There is a temptation, when a brand achieves this kind of momentum, to chase every category at once. RUDSAK has moved into footwear, bags, and ready-to-wear with obvious ambition, but the outerwear always anchors the story. Customers who arrive through a parka tend to stay for the leather jacket. Those who come for the boots often leave with a coat. The full wardrobe picture is persuasive because each piece looks like it belongs with the others.

Asatoorian remains at the creative helm, which matters more than it might seem. Founder-led brands carry a particular kind of coherence. Decisions get made with the long view in mind, and the result is a label that feels consistent across collections, seasons, and markets. The in-house design process keeps that consistency intact. Every silhouette, every material choice, and every hardware detail passes through the same creative filter that shaped the original leather jacket back in 1994.

Looking outward, RUDSAK has its sights on Europe and Asia, pursuing growth through carefully chosen premium partnerships that preserve the brand’s positioning rather than diluting it. The approach mirrors how the brand has always operated: measured, deliberate, and fiercely protective of what makes it distinct. New markets are attractive, but only if they can hold the weight of what RUDSAK has spent thirty years building.

The outerwear category, at its most aspirational, belongs to the brands willing to treat a coat with the seriousness of a sculpture. RUDSAK understood that from day one, when a single jacket in a Montreal atelier carried the whole idea forward. That idea, disciplined and defiant in equal measure, is still very much alive.

Beef Season 2 Episode 4 Takes On The U.S. Medical System In A Dark Mirror Of The Pitt – SlashFilm

Beef Season 2 Episode 4 Takes On The U.S. Medical System In A Dark Mirror Of The Pitt – SlashFilm

Spoilers for “Beef” Season 2 Episode 4 “Oh, the Comfort, the Inexpressible Comfort” follow.

“Beef” Season 2 has earned comparisons to HBO series “The White Lotus,” a fellow anthology with no shortage of horrible rich people, while those themes of class conflict and people trying to climb up the ladder also evoke the Oscar-winning film “Parasite.” But the fourth episode, set largely in an emergency room, might have you thinking of medical drama “The Pitt” instead. But while “The Pitt” offers a mostly positive (if warts-and-all) depiction of hospital workers, “Beef” directs its trademark anger at them, seared by an unjust world.

While there’s no direct evidence that “Beef” Season 2 is set in the same universe as Season 1, there is another beef, this time between two couples: working-class Gen Z’ers Ashley (Cailee Spaeny) and Austin (Charles Melton), and upper-class elder millennials Josh (Oscar Isaac) and Lindsay (Carey Mulligan). Ashley and Austin work at the country club that Josh manages; when they stumble upon a heated fight between him and Lindsay, they blackmail them with video evidence to get Ashley a better job. It’s not simple greed, though. Ashley found out in Episode 1 that she had an ovarian cyst that could become fatal, and she had no health insurance. Ashley and Austin spend most of this episode in an emergency room as Chekhov’s cyst bursts.

Most people (besides insurance lobbyists) can probably admit the profit-driven healthcare system in America is a cancer on public health. Medical debt is a problem afflicting many Americans; sick people are known to avoid visiting the doctor because they can’t afford it, and starting crowdfunding campaigns for medical expenses has become far too normalized in America. But it does create a healthy atmosphere for social satire like “Beef.”

Beef Season 2 says doctors are part of the healthcare system problems

“Oh, the Comfort, the Inexpressible Comfort” delivers some deserved potshots at health insurance. Ashley, at the worst possible time, learns what a “deductible” is (the amount an insured person must pay before the insurance provider starts contributing). Once she does, she asks a very good question: What’s the point of having insurance? But the satire doesn’t end there.

Circling back to “The Pitt” comparison, that show explores how burnout-inducing a hospital work environment is. That’s part of the premise: each season is a single hospital shift unfolding in real time. “The Pitt” has won accolades not just from TV viewers but also from medical professionals for its depiction of an emergency room.

But unlike “Beef,” it’s also sympathetic to hospital staff who choose to make that their life. Their work can burn them out because they care about helping and saving their patients. In “Beef,” though? Every member of the hospital staff is rude, dismissive, condescending, and bureaucratic to Ashley. This emergency room is operated like a stereotypical Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), except people’s lives are on the line.

Ashley and Austin spend hours sitting in an overcrowded waiting room. They’re only admitted when Ashley collapses in the waiting room. When a doctor asks how much pain Ashley is in on a scale of 1-10 and she answers “10,” the doctor tries to convince her otherwise. It turns out Ashley misinterpreted how the pain scale works (she thought 5 was the neutral rating, “like Letterboxd”), but keep in mind the doctor never explained that either. Not wanting to deal with a potential emergency, she writes Ashley off as an idiot and ignores her insistence that she’s in pain.

Beef satirizing U.S. healthcare adds to a larger theme

When Ashley and Austin are brought into the ER, Austin notices that a security guard’s viewing window is cracked. When Ashley needs emergency surgery, Austin (who’d stepped out) tries to run back in to be with her. Instead, the guard (the one with the cracked window) stops him because he’s cutting the entry line. As Austin is tempted to punch the window, we realize the crack came from someone else who actually did so.

The surgery removes Ashley’s ovary, which could complicate her wish to have kids. Worse, Austin tells her that her ovary was removed only because she had the surgery too late. Doctors ignoring women’s pleas that they’re in pain is a well-documented problem; “Beef” is fiction, but Ashley’s situation feels all too real.

The sequence unfolds with a dream fakeout; Ashley “wakes up” and is told everything is fine, but then wakes up, for real, in reality. It reminded me of yet another show, the survival drama “Yellowjackets,” where, in Season 2 Episode 6, Shauna (Sophie Nélisse) suffers a stillbirth but first has a fantasy in which her baby is born healthy. Except that Shauna was trapped in the middle of nowhere with no doctors. The resources to help Ashley were nearby, but were kept from her.

Ashley focuses her rage on Josh. As manager of an elite country club, he brushes shoulders with the rich, including successful doctors (while also being constantly reminded he’s still beneath his “friends”). In this episode, Josh offered to get Ashley seen more quickly if she deleted the video of him and Lindsay. Ashley refused, so Josh did too. Even for life-saving healthcare, the rich and connected get to cut lines and leave everyone else stuck, drowning in an overburdened bureaucracy.

      “Beef” is streaming on Netflix.

Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A) provides a compliance period of 180 calendar days, or until October 12, 2026, in which to regain compliance with the minimum bid price requirement. If the Company evidences a closing bid price of at least $1 per share for a minimum of 10 consecutive business days during the 180-day compliance period, the Company will automatically regain compliance. In the event the Company does not regain compliance with the $1 bid price requirement by October 12, 2026, the Company may be eligible for consideration of a second 180-day compliance period if it meets the continued listing requirement for market value of publicly held shares and all other initial listing standards for Nasdaq’s Capital Market, other than the minimum bid price requirement. In addition, the Company would also be required to notify Nasdaq of its intent to cure the minimum bid price deficiency.

If the Company fails to regain compliance with the Nasdaq continued listing standards, Nasdaq will provide notice that the Company’s common stock will be subject to delisting.

The Company would then be entitled to appeal that determination to a Nasdaq hearings panel.

The notification has no immediate effect on the listing of the Company’s ordinary shares on Nasdaq. The Company is actively pursuing its commercial strategy, including the announcement of its joint venture operations, and is focused on regaining compliance within the 180-day period.

10 Best Open-World Shooters with the Deepest Character Builds

10 Best Open-World Shooters with the Deepest Character Builds

Open-world shooters have become increasingly popular since the early days of gaming, to the point that they now make up a whole sub-genre in and of themselves. Developers have experimented with the formula in various ways, and results range from the intensely tactical to the wildly ridiculous. Nonetheless, the genre has given us some of the best titles in gaming throughout the years.

      Related

10 Open World Games Where You Conquer The Map

Take those zones. Victory demands it.

The following games all take their own unique approaches to character builds. Whether it’s using more traditional perk systems and skill trees or advanced weapon and party customization, each offers a wide variety of ways in which players can choose to approach them. So if you’re looking to explore and destroy vast open worlds, and do it again and again, look no further than these stand-out titles.

      10

      Palworld

      Unbridled Animalistic Chaos

      Palworld

Palworld took over the gaming industry back in 2024 through its simple and ingenious combination of shooter mechanics and Pokémon-style creature breeding. While the player-character themselves might not have a huge variety of skills to choose from, your Pals certainly do, and there are almost unlimited combinations of different species you can breed.

What makes it even better is the fact that you can amass your mutant Pals to fight alongside you in order to capture and tame increasingly powerful species. Couple that with an extensive list of weapons from hand axes to rocket launchers, and you have a recipe for some absolute chaos.

      9

      Borderlands

      The Birth of a Franchise

Borderlands 4 Characters to Return Zed

The original Borderlands was certainly unique when it first arrived on the scene. In addition to its hand-drawn aesthetic style, the game was also marketed for its seemingly unlimited weapon variety – a promise which turned out to be more than true upon release. Combined with the different classes on offer, players are free to create all manner of builds, from SMG tanks to shotgun snipers.

The different weapons certainly keep the game fresh throughout, and the various boss fights always reward you with accordingly powerful weapons. It’s no wonder that the subsequent entries in the series haven’t deviated too much from this original formula, which was originally a strength but is now proving repetitive for long-time players.

      8

      Far Cry 3

      Trailblazing On Many Levels

      far cry 3 screenshot

Far Cry 3 was the first game in the series to introduce skill trees and is also arguably one of the most effective for doing so. On top of the huge array of weapons ranging from flamethrowers to sniper rifles, Far Cry 3 also lets you choose, in its own psychedelic and hallucinatory way, from three different animal spirit skill trees: The Heron, The Shark, and The Spider.

While you will progress up these skill trees as you advance through the main story, there is a huge number of sub-skills to choose from within each category. Everything from better lung capacity underwater to fire resistance, increased bullet damage, and more is available here, allowing for a huge number of potential skill and weapon combinations.

      7

      Metro Exodus

      Leaving For The Surface

      Metro Exodus frozen street

Few games manage to present the atmosphere of their post-apocalyptic setting so well as those in the Metro series, and Metro Exodus, the third mainline entry, is not different in this regard. While not strictly a single open-world, the game is split into several large maps you explore and travel between via steam engine. The game features the most complex character builds in the series, thanks to the increased weapon customization.

Metro 2039 Will Be Led By One of Its Most Controversial Characters

Hunter returns from the ashes of Dobryninskaya Station as the series’ villain.

What makes this system so good is the way you can turn seemingly ordinary and low-level weapons into entirely different guns altogether, thanks to the progressive upgrade system. The game also introduces more survival mechanics and crafting compared to earlier entries, and the game’s two DLC stories are well worth checking out if you’re a fan of the main story at all.

      6

      Dying Light

The Best Zombie-Survival Game To Date

      Dying Light Harran city

I’ll happily die on the hill that the original Dying Light is the greatest zombie game made to date. Not many titles have been able to create the atmosphere that this game manages to, and the parkour-driven exploration of the desolate city is extremely fun and rewarding. On top of that, the game also lets players form a wide range of character builds thanks to its myriad weapons and skill points.

From high-powered silent crossbows and samurai katanas to double-handed axes and long-range rifles, the game lets you slaughter the undead in just about any way you see fit. While melee weapons are understandably more common in the city, there are plenty of interesting ranged builds to choose from, as well as awesome skills like the double-footed drop-kick to add to your repertoire.

      5

      Crysis

An Early Pioneer of the Genre

      Crysis 360

Crysis wasn’t just a graphical benchmark people used to fry their old computers; it was actually quite a revolutionary shooter gameplay-wise as well. This was personified by the Nanosuit, a powerful military-grade exoskeleton that gave its users superhuman speed, strength, armor, or invisibility at any given time.

What made the Nanosuit so much fun to use was the ability to change your specialization on-the-fly. One moment, you might be grabbing some poor, helpless Filipino soldier by the neck and throwing him ten feet into the air, the next you’re stealthily sneaking around the other side of the encampment to ambush the investigating guardsmen. To top it all off, the Crysis series does indeed have fantastic graphics that still hold up today.

      4

      Ghost Recon: Wildlands

      Tactical Squad-Based Combat

      Ghost Recon Wildlands 02-1

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is definitely up there with the best open-world shooters around. Set over a vast map replicating a cartel-occupied Bolivia, you and your team can traverse the game world using a variety of vehicles, helicopters, and boats, but that’s only the start of the freedom the game affords. On top of that, there are extensive loadout customizations for you and every member of your squad, enabling you to experiment with lots of different weapons, gadgets, and upgrades.

      Related

10 Best CRPGs of All Time

The genre has made an epic resurgence thanks to mainstream booms like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Pillars of Eternity 2.

The game also features a skill point system, so as you progress through the various objectives and take down the cartel leaders, you can also pick a skill that will suit your chosen playstyle. Similarly, some skills apply to squadmates, technology upgrades, and even additional assistance, such as rebel support and mortar strikes.

      3

      STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl

      Enter The Zone

      Stalker 2 new story content

STALKER 2 might not be everyone’s favorite in the series, but for my money, the open-world rendition of Chornobyl’s exclusion zone is one of the best we have seen in gaming to date. On top of the dynamic world with its mutants, anomalies, and emissions, there is also a surprising amount of variability when it comes to combat and the various builds you can create.

While there might not be any set skills or powers to choose from, the limited loadout and gear requirements mean that players can actually customize their builds quite a lot. From a range of weapons, including assault rifles, shotguns, SMGs, and sniper rifles, you can also choose from a range of armor sets, artifact detectors, consumable items, and attachments.

      2

      Cyberpunk 2077

      A Modern Masterpiece

      Shooters Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 has some of the deepest character builds in any modern open-world game. While you may be stuck in the relatively rigid personality of ‘V’, there is plenty of room for customization when it comes to your particular playstyle. Whether it’s a netrunning hacker with elite katana skills or a machine-gun heavy tank build that charges into danger head-on, Cyberpunk 2077 really allows for just about any conceivable combat build you can think of.

The Phantom Liberty DLC also helps create deeper character builds with the introduction of the new Relic Point system.

      1

      Fallout 3

      Bethesda At Their Best

      Fallout 3

When it comes to creating deep character builds in an open-world shooter, it’s pretty hard to top one of my favorite games of all time, Fallout 3. Starting out literally from childbirth inside Vault 101, your character progression begins as a toddler selecting S.P.E.C.I.A.L skills, which will later in life help you to explode the heads of Super Mutants with a sniper rifle in VATS.

The G.O.A.T. exam is another nice touch, which fleshes out some of your character traits in adolescence. The skills and perks in Fallout 3 just seem to have more impact on your overall playstyle than the later games, and the fact that the game manages to build up these skills over time in such an immersive and seamless manner is what makes it my top pick overall.

Bitcoin Cracks 7-Month Ceiling. Can Bulls Push It Higher? – Decrypt

      In brief

Bitcoin jumped 2.7%, breaking the descending resistance line that had capped every rally since October.
Myriad traders have flipped bullish, giving BTC a 69% chance of hitting $84K next.
Traders, though, give a new Bitcoin all-time high only a 6.2% chance of happening before July.

Bitcoin is surging today on a geopolitical trigger few predicted: Iran today announced the Strait of Hormuz (or Strait of Iran, as President Donald Trump now calls it) will remain fully open during the ongoing ceasefire. It sent oil prices tumbling and risk assets surging in tandem.

Bitcoin climbed above $78,000 intraday on the news before pulling back slightly, while digital asset treasury stocks like Strategy surged more than 10% as BTC’s rise pushed its holdings back out of the red.

The macro environment had been brutal for most of 2026 with Middle East tensions, inflation fears, a strong dollar, and tight liquidity keeping Bitcoin locked in a grinding descent from its October 2025 peak of $126,000.

Bulls are praying that changes this week.

Bitcoin: Breaking the pattern, but not out of danger

Today’s candlestick on the Bitcoin charts is significant. Bitcoin opened at $75,172 and traders pushed the daily candle up to $77,205—a 2.7% gain on the session, with an intraday high of $78,384.

That move, modest as it sounds, was key to solidifying the thesis that the descending resistance trendline that had been rejecting Bitcoin at every rally attempt since October 2025 has been, finally, invalidated. For seven months, that line was gravity. This has been the first week Bitcoin trades over that line since the bearish pattern began.

Since the $126,000 all-time high, Bitcoin has traced a textbook descending channel—lower highs, lower lows, and a string of failed breakout attempts, each capped harder than the last. The yellow trendlines on the chart above show that, for months, Bitcoin registered a compression structure where each bounce got shallower, and each support got tested deeper.

If the trend had continued uninterrupted, the math was pointing toward $50,000–$55,000 as the logical next support zone. That scenario is now delayed, if not cancelled.

Indicators are also looking promising for bulls. The Exponential Moving Averages, which give traders a sense of the underlying trend based on smoothed price history, are still bearish with the 50-day EMA sitting below the 200-day EMA—a pattern that traders refer to as a death cross.

This matters because traders read the death cross as a bearish structural signal: The short-term trend is still weaker than the long-term average, meaning the recovery hasn’t been deep or sustained enough to flip the larger trend. The death cross doesn’t mean Bitcoin falls from here. It means bulls still have a mountain to climb before this is officially a new uptrend.

But it is the first time since January that the gap between both averages starts to compress.

The Average Directional Index, or ADX, reads 18.1, which means the current bearish trend is weak. ADX measures trend strength, not direction. A reading below 25 typically tells traders that the market lacks conviction and prices can move, but there’s no real engine behind them yet. Considering the markets have been bearish for almost half the year, a weak ADX means this trend may either be fading away or traders are accumulating as much as possible in this zone.

The Relative Strength Index, or RSI, is at 67.7, which means Bitcoin is overbought but still in a manageable zone. RSI measures the speed and magnitude of price changes on a scale of 0–100. Above 70 is traditionally considered overbought—territory where traders begin locking in profits. At 67.7, Bitcoin is close to that line but hasn’t crossed it yet, leaving some room for continuation before the technical pressure to sell intensifies.

The vertical lines in the background in the Bitcoin chart above show the squeeze momentum indicator (which tells when prices compress before a major spike in either direction) has been released, with positive momentum.

      Predictions on Myriad

On Myriad, a prediction market developed by Decrypt’s parent company Dastan, traders are leaning bullish on Bitcoin’s next major move. Right now, Myriad traders are placing 69% odds on Bitcoin hitting $84K before dropping to $55K. The gap in favor of a Bitcoin pump is the widest it’s been since the market debuted back in early February.

But the same crowd is sober about timelines. A separate Myriad market gives Bitcoin only a 6% chance of hitting a new all-time high before July.

Overall, in an optimistic scenario, Bitcoin holds above the broken trendline (now acting as support around $74,000–$75,000), and the ADX begins climbing above 20–25. If bears take over again, a new rejection, combined with RSI rolling over from near-overbought levels, sends Bitcoin back to test the support area. A break below that turns the broken resistance back into resistance, invalidating the breakout.

Multiplayer Commodore 64 Gaming in the Browser? Welcome to C64-Cade!

Multiplayer Commodore 64 Gaming in the Browser? Welcome to C64-Cade!

The golden age of Commodore 64 gaming is getting a modern, social makeover. Twitch streamer Andrew Hayes, the mind behind C64-Cade, has officially pulled back the curtain on C64-Live, a groundbreaking platform that transforms the legendary Commodore 64 into a real-time, multiplayer experience directly in your web browser. The platform allows a host to launch a C64 session on a remote server and stream it instantly. From there, a second player can jump into the action from anywhere in the world.

According to Andrew, unlike traditional single-player browser emulators, C64-Live is designed around the idea of a shared machine. One player can become host, load a cartridge or disk image, and start the game, while a second player joins remotely and takes the second joystick port. Spectators can tune in instantly from the browser with no local emulator setup required. It’s not just about the players, though. C64-Live is built for the community, featuring:

Live Spectating: Fans can drop into active sessions to watch the action unfold.Interactive Chat: Spectators and players can engage in real-time discussions.Online Lobbies: A public “always-on” room makes it easy to find a match or discover new titles.Versatile Loading: Full support for cartridges, disk images, PRG files, and snapshots.

Andrew goes on to say “C64-Live is about sharing the magic of the Commodore 64 with friends and fans around the world,” says creator Andrew Hayes. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your martial arts in International Karate or get lost in a sprawling RPG, Hayes’ goal is clear: “I want to bring C64 multiplayer to the masses—not just the classes!”

Beyond casual play, the platform is a powerful tool for retro events, livestreams, and software preservation, a must for retro enthusiats. By removing the need for complex local emulator setups, C64-Live makes the console’s massive library accessible to anyone with a browser. As part of the broader C64-Cade ecosystem—already known for its global leaderboards—this new “Live” component focuses on the human connection that made home computing so special in the first place. C64-Live is available to use for free right now. Users can head over to the C64-Cade Lobby to start hosting, playing, or spectating immediately!

Bybit Report: Global Stocks Reach Record Highs as S&P 500 Surpasses 7,000 Milestone

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, April 17th, 2026, Chainwire

Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, reported that global stock markets have reached new record highs, led by a historic breakout in the S&P 500 and supported by synchronized gains across risk assets.

The S&P 500 closed above the 7,000 mark for the first time on April 15, a key psychological milestone and a historic high for the index. The benchmark has posted gains of approximately 7.8% month to date in April and about 2.9% year to date in 2026 (prior to market open on Friday, April 17), reflecting continued momentum in U.S. equities. The US benchmark stock index has continued to push higher following the upside breakout that Bybit Learn highlighted since April 6th, extending its streak of record highs.

The rally is part of a broader global trend. The MSCI All Country World Index, which tracks more than 2,500 stocks across developed and emerging markets, has climbed to a record level near 1,064, according to Bybit Learn’s analysis.

Major technology-driven indices have also advanced. The Nasdaq 100 has risen 10.9% in April and 4.3% year to date, with projections indicating potential further upside over the next 12 months. Meanwhile, the Taiwan RIC Index has surged 18.1% in April and 28.3% year to date, underscoring a strong rebound even in certain Asian equity markets. Taiwan’s stock market, valued at roughly $4.14 trillion, has overtaken the United Kingdom to become the world’s seventh-largest.

Beyond indices, individual equities have recorded significant gains. Shares of Bloom Energy have risen sharply, up 55% in April and 141.7% year to date. Several large-cap U.S. companies, including Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, Lam Research, Marvell Technology and Dell Technologies, have also reached new all-time highs in recent sessions, reflecting broad-based strength across sectors.

Han Tan, Bybit Chief Market Analyst, said, “The surge in global equities highlights sustained investor optimism that a US-Iran peace deal is at hand. Still, it remains to be seen whether overall market optimism will be matched by geopolitical realities.

The tide of record highs across major indices and individual equities underscores a period of heightened risk-on activity across global financial markets, with both traditional and digital asset ecosystems reflecting similar underlying sentiment. More details are available on the website.

Rep. Sheri Biggs Doubles Down on Bitcoin, Buys Up to 0K of BlackRock’s ETF – Decrypt

      In brief

Rep. Sheri Biggs (R-SC) disclosed on Friday that she purchased up to $250,000 worth of BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) last month.
The U.S. lawmaker “strongly supports crypto,” according to the Stand With Crypto Alliance, a grassroots advocacy group launched by Coinbase.
Biggs also bet on Bitcoin last July, disclosing another IBIT purchase that was valued at up to $250,000.

Rep. Sheri Biggs (R-SC) disclosed on Friday that she purchased up to $250,000 worth of BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) last month, marking the conservative House member’s latest bet on the leading digital asset by market capitalization.

The purchase could have been as little as $100,000, Unusual Whales data showed, because U.S. lawmakers are only required to disclose the value of trades within a broad range.

Around the time that she scooped up Wall Street’s most popular vehicle for Bitcoin exposure, Biggs purchased shares in a private credit fund offered by asset manager Apollo. Meanwhile, the representative sold a similar product established by Apollo competitor Oaktree.

Biggs’ latest IBIT purchase was made on March 4, a few days after the U.S.-Israel war with Iran broke out. At the time, Bitcoin was valued as low as $67,800, according to CoinGecko. Bitcoin’s price has jumped around 14% since that nadir.

Over time, investments associated with digital assets have become commonplace among U.S. lawmakers, from meme coins to shares in Strategy (MSTR), the Bitcoin-buying behemoth. Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was the last politician to disclose a purchase of BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF last November that was valued between $1,000 and $15,000.

Although Biggs’ official congressional homepage is devoid of language associated with digital assets, the representative is viewed as someone who “strongly supports crypto” by the Stand With Crypto Alliance, a grassroots advocacy group launched by Coinbase.

The advocacy group says Biggs has voted for three pro-crypto bills in the House: the CLARITY Act, the GENIUS Act, and H.J. Res 25, a resolution enacted last year that nullified tax reporting requirements for decentralized finance projects, viewed by some lawmakers as “burdensome.”

The congresswoman, who was sworn in as a representative of South Carolina’s 3rd Congressional District last January, appears to have previously violated the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge Act, or Stock Act, per an analysis by NOTUS.

The publication reported last October that Biggs apparently failed to meet a 45-day deadline while disclosing more than 170 trades made by her and her husband, which included another investment in BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF of up to $250,000 last July.

The representative’s latest IBIT purchase, made on March 4, indicated that Biggs had one day left under the law to make the trade’s details publicly available.

Decrypt has reached out to Biggs’ office for comment.
