After a rough patch, Britney Spears has had a reunion with Jayden James

According to a new report by Page Six, Britney Spears had a recent reunion with Jayden James Federline, her youngest of two sons.

“They have been spending a lot of time together,” an inside source described.

A second insider dished that Jayden has been “back in California” since turning 18.

Remember, in 2023, and with Britney’s approval, Kevin Federline and both of their shared sons moved to California. Sean Preston ended up turning 18 before settling into his new Hawaiian pad, but Jayden — almost exactly one year younger — did not.

Jayden James Federline was born on September 12, 2006. That was two days shy of one year after Sean Preston’s birth (which is not a birthing pace that the medical community recommends). Just two months ago, Jayden turned 18.

Now an adult, he is more or less free to live where he likes and to see who he likes. While there are no indications that anyone was keeping him from seeing Britney, it sounds like this was firmly his choice.

How does Britney Spears feel about the reunion?

“Britney is thrilled to have her baby back,” that second inside source dished.

The insider went on to characterize that “Everything is moving in the right direction.”

It is unclear if Jayden is living on his own, with Britney, or elsewhere. We hope that he is able to keep that answer private for as long as he likes.

That was a sign of progress. And, significantly, her sons had previously affirmed their desire to reconcile with Britney. Now, that reunion is underway.

While fans all rejoiced at this news, someone who was a little taken aback by it was Jayden’s father, Kevin Federline.

According to him and those who speak for him, Jayden has seen and spoken to his mother multiple times over the years, keeping the relationship cordial, yet still distant.

Kevin’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told TMZ: “If there has been a reconciliation it’s news to Kevin.”

He added that Kevin also speaks to Jayden frequently and hasn’t been told about any kind of reconciliation between the 18-year-old and his mom.

How did the estrangement begin?

There are two major types of familial estrangements between parents and children, and they are radically different. The first, of course, is someone fleeing an abuser. Some relatives are too toxic and too dangerous to be in your life — ever.

Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu waved goodbye to Strictly Come Dancing on It Takes Two tonight after losing the dance-off on Sunday against Wynne Evans and Katya Jones.

The axed dancing duo joined Fleur East tonight, November 11, where they reflected on their Strictly journey and were even left fighting back tears as they watched a string of highlights from their stint on the show.

However, it wasn’t just their emotional antics that turned viewers heads – it was Shayne’s transformation!

Shayne Ward divides Strictly fans with new look

Shayne Ward has starred on our screens for several years since winning The X-Factor in 2005 and he has rocked a variety of styles in the meantime, from an iconic short cut on Corrie to his unruly curls in the ballroom.

Now, he has switched up his style once more and It Takes Two viewers definitely clocked it.

Some even flocked to social media to share their thoughts.

One penned: “Another thing I’m going to miss is Shayne’s myriad of hairstyles, when I’m always expecting him to look like this,” alongside a snap of Shayne with short hair during his Corrie days.

A third wrote: “Shayne I love you but I have a bad urge to just tuck that little piece of forehead hair away off your face.”

A fourth praised: “Shayne needs to keep his hair like that it suits him.”

Shayne’s new look saw his curls styled with gel, with one long ringlet hanging down across his face.

Meanwhile, Shayne and Nancy were left emotional as they looked back on their time on the show. Nancy even grabbed a box of tissues to dab at Shayne’s eyes and fought back her own tears.

Shayne and Nancy failed to win over the judges after performing a rumba to Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper. They were up against Wynne and Katya who performed their American Smooth to Grace Kelly by MIKA.

The judges then gave their verdict with Craig Revel Horwood deciding to save Shayne and Nancy, alongside Motsi Mabuse.

Consequently, Shayne and Nancy were sent home.

Sugamenia is a metroidvania made by one man. There is another famous Metroidvania also made by one man: Axiom Verge. This is not Axiom Verge, not even close. But for what it is, its good. You are violet, who is stuck on an alien planet for… I don’t know. It is never explained in game. She is rescued by a flying Switch she calls Suichi. Together you must escape the alien planet. The game is a simplified metroidvania. There’s no map and 3 classes of collectables in Sugamenia: health boosts in garbage bins, flying bugs inside destructible purple lights and Xs sitting on “Chozo statues.” There are power-ups, that come after bosses.

Told you was a flying Switch!

There are 10 areas in Sugamenia, all fairly different visually, though you’ll spend most of your time in them flipping switches. Bosses appear at the end of some of the areas. Now the bosses can be… underwhelming. The second boss is also a flying Switch(see below). Difficulty can spike at times, but nothing too overwhelming. Though there is a hard mode if you want to play that. Finally, at the save points, you can return to previous areas to pick up the stuff you missed in Sugamenia.

Sugamenia gets a Recommended verdict with a seven back-end score. It would have earned an eight with a map and more explanation for things. But as it is, its a fine little game. Shouldn’t take you more than a few hours to complete. Overall, Jesus Saz did a good job here, as did the music composer. Well done!

Overall: Sugamenia is a decent little Metroidvania. The plot revolves around flying Switches, I wish I was joking, but I’m not.

Verdict: Recommended

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle gets a new gameplay deep dive trailer | TheSixthAxis

MachineGames has released a new deep dive gameplay trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, with the archeological adventure set to launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC on 3rd December, and on PS5 in spring 2025.

MachineGames Audio Director, Pete Ward, guides us on this tour through the first person action adventure. While there’s some new clips and things to see, it’s fair to say that this video covers a fair bit of familiar ground from previous trailers, including the figure of Tony Todd as a mysterious and very imposing antagonist right at the start of the game – who sadly passed away age 69 last week, making this game a posthumous appearance – and the companion character, photojournalist Gina, who teams up with Indy on the chase after Emmerich Voss who’s on a global hunt for otherworldly artefacts.

Indy has a camera of his own, using it to take photos of the world as you adventure, potentially getting clues from Indy as you do so. This fills in Indy’s journal, which will track the adventure so far and all the clips. You might also have to get your Agent 47 on with some disguises to get into restricted areas.

I got to go hands on with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle last month, and had a rather good time. Playing in first person (with a few snippets of third person) might be different from what you’d expect, given that Indiana Jones inspired the likes of Tomb Raider and Uncharted, but it works. I said, “I’m rather keen to see how this full adventure comes together. MachineGames are taking a less obvious path, but that’s going to lead to a much more individual and distinctive game and journey. And if you’re going to trust anyone to make a game that’s a lot to do with beating up fascists, it’s probably them!”
