Proton Experimental update enables gamepad input for all game launchers on Linux, SteamOS / Steam Deck

Proton Experimental update enables gamepad input for all game launchers on Linux, SteamOS / Steam Deck

Valve released a brand new and exciting update to Proton Experimental for Linux, SteamOS / Steam Deck gamers. This brings some new fixes, as well as an interesting change for their Xalia integration.

Xalia, if you’ve not heard of it, is an open source tool that brings a gamepad UI for traditional desktop applications. Especially useful for Valve’s Proton, since it can make working with launchers on Steam Deck, SteamOS and any Linux system playing games via Steam Big Picture Mode a lot simpler since you won’t need to change any inputs. It’s not just launchers though, some games have prerequisite installation steps which Xalia enables you to click through with a gamepad too.

For quite a few releases Valve have been tweaking how they use Xalia, gradually adding more supported games and updating Xalia itself from the upstream project. However, the Proton Experimental update for May 23rd simply enables it by default now. So it’s not set on specific games, as Valve feel it’s at a point where it will “work with most launchers using builtin Win32 controls”.

With the wider release of SteamOS 3.7 for more devices, this seems like a great step for Windows game compatibility.

All the changes:

Enabled NVAPI for The Last Of Us 2.
Fixed games not starting when upgrading from a removed Proton installation.
Enabled Xalia by default instead of only for selected titles. It should work with most launchers using builtin Win32 controls.
Improved situation with Once Human having bad stutter on certain setups.
Fixed Black Desert launcher rendering all black on Nvidia + Wayland setups.
Fixed Dead Island 2 not detecting Epic Online Services and not allowing cross-play.
Fixed Cornerpond not rendering transparency correctly.
Fixed Monster Jam Showdown not being able to link Epic Games account.
Fixed The First Berserker: Khazan displaying driver version warning with Intel and Nvidia GPUs.
Fixed DLSS frame generation options being disabled in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

Source: Valve

How to get it?

It will show up as an update in your Steam Downloads, if you already have it installed. If you don’t, just search for Proton Experimental in your Steam Library to install it. It will also download automatically if you go to run a game that Valve have set to use it.

Worldcoin Price Prediction: WLD Short-term Price Forecast

Worldcoin Price Prediction: WLD Short-term Price Forecast

Worldcoin (WLD) is a cryptocurrency project combined with a global digital identity system, co-founded by Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI. As of now, WLD is trading around $1.50 with a total market capitalization exceeding $2 billion, ranking 68th in the cryptocurrency market.

Internal Factors of the Worldcoin

Worldcoin was founded in 2019 by Sam Altman, Alex Blania, and Max Novendstern, with Altman being the most prominent figure (also serving as the CEO of OpenAI). The project has raised over $250 million in funding from major venture capital firms such as a16z and Khosla Ventures.

Most recently, in May 2025, Worldcoin (now rebranded as “World”) secured an additional $135 million through direct token sales of WLD to two venture capital firms: a16z and Bain Capital Crypto.

This capital injection demonstrates strong backing from major investors and provides the necessary resources for the project to pursue its long-term vision. Worldcoin aims to build the world’s largest identity and financial network, targeting a user base of billions.

The core focus is solving the “Proof of Personhood” problem, distinguishing real humans from bots or AI in a future dominated by artificial intelligence. Each user, after downloading the World App and registering, must physically visit an Orb (a spherical device) to scan their iris and create their unique World ID.

The scanning process uses multispectral sensors to verify the uniqueness of the iris, and the image is deleted immediately on the device.

Tokenomics & On-Chain Activity

Worldcoin’s initial token allocation is structured as follows:

75% of the total WLD supply is designated for the Worldcoin community (primarily for user airdrops) 9.8% is allocated to the development team 13.5% to investors in Tools for Humanity (the organization behind the project)1.7% to TFH’s reserve fund.

On-chain data shows WLD’s circulating supply has grown steadily due to ongoing token distribution. At the time of the token’s debut in July 2023, only around 100 million WLD were in circulation. By late April 2025, circulating supply jumped to around 1.3 billion WLD, or 13% of total supply.

After selling tokens to a16z and Bain Capital Crypto, circulating supply rose to about 1.51 billion WLD, or 15%.

Though the sale caused mild dilution, wallets with 1–10 million WLD now hold 798 million — over half the supply.

Sentiment data shows whale wallets added 13 million WLD in just the last week of April. This steady accumulation shows major investors trust WLD’s long-term value at current prices — a bullish sign.

Source: Santiment

Recent data from Arkham Intelligence also highlights the concentration of WLD holdings in prominent entities. The Optimism wallet holds about 2.85% of WLD, while Bithumb holds 1.36%.

These allocations show that much of the supply sits with Layer 2s and exchanges, hinting at Worldcoin’s listing strategy.

On the other hand, the team and early investors still hold about 23.3% of the total supply. As these tokens unlock over time, selling pressure may rise if stakeholders take profits.

However, in the next few months, token unlocks from the team and treasury stay modest. Furthermore, the recent purchases by a16z and Bain suggest they may intend to hold their tokens for the long term. Most selling pressure now comes from users who get monthly token grants and sell them.

Dune Analytics data shows that millions of WLD are distributed monthly to both new and existing users. For example, 1 million new users get 16 WLD, 6 million get 3 WLD. This could add about 34 million WLD to circulation monthly.

Progress of “Iris Scanning” Deployment

Since its official launch in July 2023, Worldcoin has significantly expanded its network of Orb devices worldwide. The project reports that it has deployed approximately 1,500 Orbs across more than 35 cities in over 20 countries, with a strong presence in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

By the end of April 2025, Worldcoin had verified over 12.5 million users across 160 countries. In May 2025, the project officially launched in the United States after a long period of anticipation – deploying Orbs in six major cities (Atlanta, Austin, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, and San Francisco) and establishing “World Spaces” as user experience centers tailored to the American market.

Additionally, Worldcoin has formed partnerships with Kalshi – a licensed prediction market platform, and Morpho – a decentralized lending protocol, to explore the integration of World ID, aiming to broaden the utility of its unique digital identity system.

Worldcoin’s vision is gradually taking shape: expanding its user base while building real-world applications for World ID, laying the groundwork for WLD’s long-term value.

Technical Analysis

During the second half of 2023, Worldcoin (WLD) traded within a relatively stable range of $1 to $2. However, in a sharp rally fueled by the AI investment narrative, and growing attention on Sam Altman and AI-related projects – WLD surged to its all-time high of approximately $11.74 on March 10, 2024.

This peak proved unsustainable. In the months that followed, WLD experienced significant downward pressure due to profit-taking and an expanding circulating supply, eventually retreating to around $2 by the end of 2024. Notably, Worldcoin launched its Layer 2 blockchain, Worldchain, in October 2024, amid this price decline.

binance-logo-2binance-logo-2

On the daily chart, WLD has recently formed a series of higher highs and higher lows since April 2025, signaling a short-term uptrend. The price broke above the 50-day moving average (MA50) at the $0.90–$1.00 range in early May – a near-term bullish indicator.

Meanwhile, the 200-day moving average (MA200) remains above current price levels, hovering around $1.50–$1.60, indicating that the longer-term trend has yet to fully reverse to the upside. However, the gap between MA50 and MA200 is narrowing.

If upward momentum continues, a golden cross – where the MA50 crosses above the MA200, could form, further strengthening bullish momentum.

Technical AnalysisTechnical Analysis

Source: TradingView

Liquidity and market momentum around WLD are also worth noting. Trading volumes tend to spike during bullish sessions, suggesting strong buying interest when price breaks out.

Overall, technical indicators suggest that Worldcoin is in a short-term recovery phase after establishing a bottom earlier this year. Price patterns and momentum indicators point to a positive outlook, though confirmation of a sustained uptrend would require WLD to break through key resistance levels on strong volume.

Fundamental Analysis

Bitcoin has been setting new all-time highs, recently surpassing the $112,000 mark. The total cryptocurrency market capitalization has also climbed to approximately $3.6 trillion – an increase of more than 10% in just a few weeks. This surge signals a return of capital to risk assets, driven by investor optimism that the bear market may be over and a new growth cycle is emerging.

At the same time, the global interest rate environment appears to be stabilizing compared to the volatility seen in 2022–2023. After an aggressive tightening cycle to curb inflation, the U.S. Federal Reserve has paused rate hikes. Market participants are now anticipating potential rate cuts by late 2025, contingent on inflation remaining under control.

Fundamental AnalysisFundamental Analysis

Source: CME Group

However, one critical macro factor is the regulatory landscape. As previously discussed, Worldcoin sits at the intersection of several highly sensitive themes: biometric data, digital identity, privacy, and cryptocurrencies. This places the project under heightened scrutiny from global regulators. A worldwide shift is underway to establish legal frameworks around digital identity and data privacy.

For example, the European Union already enforces the strict General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and plans to introduce even stricter rules for projects that handle sensitive data like Worldcoin.

If authorities in Germany, France, and other countries conclude that Worldcoin violates data protection laws, they may require the project to change its operational model or even halt its activities within the EU.

From a market sentiment perspective, Worldcoin occupies a unique position. The project straddles two of the most prominent technology narratives today – AI and blockchain. As a result, any developments related to Sam Altman or the broader AI sector could indirectly influence WLD’s price action and investor perception.

Worldcoin Price Prediction: WLD Price Outlook in Short-Term

In the coming weeks, an optimistic scenario suggests that WLD could continue its upward trajectory, targeting the $2.00–$2.40 range within the next 1–2 months, potentially revisiting the highs last seen at the end of 2024.

A more likely base case: WLD swings between $1.00–$2.00 short term, driven by speculation.

Investors should watch the ~$1.30 level closely, as it represents a nearby resistance where technical pullbacks may occur. On the support side, $1.00 — or $0.85 in deeper pullbacks — acts as a strong cushion. If WLD can maintain support above these thresholds after minor corrections, it would reinforce the ongoing bullish structure.

In summary, Worldcoin is currently at a pivotal juncture. If the project follows its roadmap and rides market tailwinds, WLD could see short-term gains.

Tolkien Collectible Book Sets Are Up For Preorder – Myths, Legends, Tales Of Middle-earth

Tolkien Collectible Book Sets Are Up For Preorder – Myths, Legends, Tales Of Middle-earth

J.R.R. Tolkien fans can soon add two display-worthy book box sets to their collection. Tolkien Myths and Legends Box Set, which features lesser-known original works and translations of classic English literature, releases on June 10. It will be followed up on August 19 by new editions of The Great Tales of Middle-earth, which is comprised of the final three prose novels set in Tolkien’s iconic fantasy world. The new hardcover box sets feature lavish cover art and display cases. They are considered the fifth and sixth entries in a series of hardcover book box sets that debuted last year with the The History of Middle-earth, which was published by William Morrow in its entirety across four beautiful collections.

J.R.R. Tolkien - The History of Middle-earth Box Sets (2024)
J.R.R. Tolkien – The History of Middle-earth Box Sets (2024)

The History of Middle-earth was originally published over a 14-year stretch from 1983 to 1996. While creating his fantasy world, Tolkien took extensive notes, building a backstory for Middle-earth across three different ages and 6,500-plus years. You could argue that the author’s dedication to crafting the setting that would become home to a pair of landmark fantasy novels turned Middle-earth into the most believable character Tolkien created. His mythopoeic writings formed what is commonly referred to as Tolkien’s legendarium.

At the time of Tolkien’s death in 1973, the exhaustive backstory of Middle-earth remained unpublished. Over the next few years, his son and literary executor, Christopher Tolkien, undertook the daunting project of editing, expanding, and curating the legendarium into publishable works. The legendarium would become a 12-volume series titled The History of Middle-earth.

Though The Silmarillion is now included in modern editions of the series–it’s Book 1 in the newest box sets–the collection of myths was first published in 1977. If it had been Tolkien’s decision, The Silmarillion would have been published after The Hobbit. When his publisher turned down the manuscript, Tolkien pivoted to the story that would become The Lord of the Rings.

Over the years, he continued to revise and expand The Silmarillion. Early drafts and branching stories penned while reworking the manuscript would become key components of his legendarium. As such, The History of Middle-earth, in part, showcases Tolkien’s development as a worldbuilder. This is why The Silmarillion is presented as the first book in The History of Middle-earth. To get the most out of the sprawling Middle-earth character study, it’s wise to read the interconnected myths within The Silmarillion.

For the 2024 hardcover box set releases, publisher William Morrow reorganized The History of Middle-earth into 15 separate books, including the invaluable reference Index. The series is a substantial undertaking, as it clocks in 5,328 pages across its 15 volumes. With Amazon’s current prices, you can get all four box sets for $262 (was $475), which saves you over $200.

Check out all four of the 2024 Middle-earth box sets below. An alternative to the 15-book collection is the weighty three-volume hardcover set released in 2020. Totaling 5,440 pages–over 1,800 pages per book–The Complete History of Middle-earth Box Set is an understated, brilliantly designed trio of hardcovers that’s available for $138 (was $250). For a sampling of what the series has to offer, there’s a five-book paperback box set for $28 (was $50).

The Lord of the Rings: Deluxe Illustrated Box Set (2024)
The Lord of the Rings: Deluxe Illustrated Box Set (2024)

William Morrow’s new hardcover box sets with reversible covers are far from the only stunning Tolkien collections that are worth checking out. The Lord of the Rings has received many different box sets over the years, including a superb high-end edition last fall. The Lord of the Rings: Deluxe Illustrated Box Set remastered the fan-favorite 1992 set with illustrations by Alan Lee. With over 50 new drawings and paintings, silver foil-stamped covers, and hybrid cloth-leather bindings, these editions are truly a sight to behold. The foil-stamped clothboard display case holds all three parts of The Lord of the Rings as well as three exclusive art cards and two foldout maps by Christopher Tolkien.

The LOTR Deluxe Illustrated Box Set launched with an eye-watering $325 price, but Amazon is currently selling it for $146–a savings of 55% ($179).

The Deluxe Illustrated Box Set wasn’t the only collectible LOTR set released last year. William Morrow also published budget-friendly Collector’s Editions of The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, The Return of the King, The Hobbit, and The Silmarillion. The three parts of LOTR were later collected in one handsome Collector’s Edition Box Set. Each book in the hardcover Collector’s Edition series has stained edges, foil-stamped cover art, a ribbon bookmark, and maps as endpapers. All five Collector’s Editions are available individually for around $20 or less.

Though not box sets, we’d be remiss to not mention the Tolkien Illustrated Editions when discussing collectible versions of Tolkien’s masterworks. Each of these beautiful hardcover books features drawings, sketches, and paintings composed by Tolkien himself while he built Middle-earth with words. The books have foil-stamped covers, sprayed page edges with elvish script, a ribbon bookmark, and a pair of removable maps.

Deluxe Special Editions of Tolkien Illustrated versions of The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings have cloth board bindings with quarterbound ribbed leather, clouthbound slipcases, an art card, and an illustrated booklet.

The list below includes deals on an assortment of editions of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, and more. One standout here is The Silmarillion Special Edition, which was published in 2021 and feels like a natural pairing with The Lord of the Rings Deluxe Illustrated Box Set. This foil-stamped, clothbound edition has a slipcase with custom artwork and comes with a pair of full-color posters.

Meri Brown: I NEVER Want To Be Like Robyn!

Meri Brown: I NEVER Want To Be Like Robyn!

    Reading Time: 2 minutes

So, Meri Brown… how do you really feel about Robyn Brown?!?

On this Sunday’s Sister Wives: One on One special with Sukanya Krishnan, the long-time reality star will sit down with the host and touch on a number of subjects.

Based on footage released early by E! News, however, Meri will focus sharply at one point at the only woman remaining in Kody Brown’s life.

    (TLC)

“I don’t think that’s fair for him to even say,” Meri says in this clip after Krishnan reveals that Kody said he had “wanted to raise every wife up” to a level of “divine love” he experienced with Robyn.

Indeed, Kody himself says on this same episode that his love for Robyn is blessed by God.

“We’re all supposed to be Robyn?” Meri scoffs in this sneak peek. “I’m sorry, I am Meri. I’m not going to be Robyn.”

    Amen! Preach, Meri! Preach.

In general, the 54-year-old argues that it’s “unfair” for Kody to think of the other sister wives this way, saying on air:

“I’m going to be my own individual person. I don’t want to be her.”

Meri Brown has a lot to say on Sister Wives Season 19. (TLC)

Meri and Kody announced in early 2022 that they had terminated their relationship after more than two decades as a couple; first as legal husband and wife, then as spiritual husband and wife.

Looking back, Meri believes a major reason why her decades-long relationship didn’t work out was because Kody didn’t fully accept her.

“He didn’t for the past 12 or 14 years — or maybe even more,” Meri will say on this special.

Meri, Christine and Janelle (all of whom have walked away from the selfish polygamist in the past few years) have said in various ways that Kody disrespected them based on the way he favored Robyn in pretty much every possible way.

Kody Brown is a polarizing reality TV personality. (TLC)

Earlier on Season 19 of Sister Wives, Meri told viewers that so many people referred to Robyn as a “fraud, a liar” or as “manipulating,” but it took her a little while to feel the same.

Relatedly, Janelle — who announced her split from Kody in 2021 — did not appreciate Kody’s remarks about his former wives, telling Sukanya during her own one-on-one discussion:

    “That’s revisionist history.”

The 56-year-old went on to say that she didn’t feel Kody ever made any true effort to develop a deeper relationship with his other spouses after Robyn joined the family.

“Would’ve been nice if he communicated that back then,” she said. “He never talked about that with me.”

Aubrey Plaza is slowly getting back out there after her husband’s death … and this time she’s at her first movie premiere since his suicide.

Aubrey stepped out Friday for the first showing of her new movie, “Honey Don’t” at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival.

The actress dazzled in a sparkling gown … her sheer dress trailed all the way down to the floor and it was gussied up with a colorful, beaded ensemble.

Aubrey wore a white, strapless bodysuit underneath and she had a million-dollar smile as she posed and mugged for the cameras.

Sounds like Aubrey and her movie were a big hit over in France … reports out of Cannes say the crowd gave her film a six-minute standing ovation.

It’s another move back towards normalcy for Aubrey … after her husband Jeff Baena was found dead inside his Los Angeles home back in January.

TMZ broke the story … Aubrey and Jeff had been separated for several months before his death, and cops say they were told Jeff had a phone conversation with Aubrey the night before he was found dead.

Days after Jeff’s death, Aubrey was scheduled to present at the Golden Globes … but, understandably, she did not attend.

Aubrey made her first public appearance in mid-February and now she’s back to doing movie premieres.

Mortal Kombat 1 Support Ending: What’s Next for Fans?

Mortal Kombat 1 Support Ending: What’s Next for Fans?

After a new complete edition of Mortal Kombat 1 appeared in stores, fans began wondering if support for the latest Mortal Kombat was finished. Now, publisher Warner Bros. has confirmed their worst fears: Netherealm is moving on.

“We are hearing players’ requests for continued game support of Mortal Kombat 1, and, while we will continue to support Mortal Kombat 1 through balance adjustments and fixes, there will not be additional DLC characters or story chapters released from this point on.” said the official Mortal Kombat X account, before brutally performing a fatality on someone.

Netherealms next project was not specified, but recent rumours suggest the studio is to return to the Injustice franchise.

While Mortal Kombat 1 was no slouch in terms of sales, it’s safe to say that compared to Mortal Kombat 11 it struggled. Within its first year on sale Mortal Kombat 11 had hit around 8 million copies sold, whereas Mortal Kombat 1 achieved around 4.5-5 million in its first year. MK11 went on to surpass 15 million copies sold, and while MK1 will undoubtedly continue to shift copies, it certainly is not going to catch up with its predecessor.

Let’s be clear, though: 5 million copies sold is something many developers would be ecstatic about. The struggling Warner Bros. gaming division, though, was probably pinning a lot of hope on Mortal Kombat 1.

Netherealms cessation of support might have a lot to do with poor sales of the Khaos Reigns expansion. No official numbers have been released, but insiders began reporting that the expansion was a flop, resulting in future DLC and new fighters being cancelled. People then began to speculate that support for Mortal Kombat 1 would end early compared to Mortal Kombat 11, which received just over two years of support.

Coronation Street Carla Connor’s previous marriages explored as she receives fresh wedding proposal from Lisa Swain

Coronation Street Carla Connor’s previous marriages explored as she receives fresh wedding proposal from Lisa Swain

A shocked Carla Connor received a proposal in Coronation Street tonight (Friday, May 23), as Lisa Swain popped the question. Emotional after the shocking death of colleague Craig Tinker, Swain found herself questioning life and mortality.

After a hard day on the beat, she returned home, where Carla was reclining on the sofa. Lisa soon broke down in tears and, as the day’s events came to a head, told Carla that she was determined to grab happiness wherever she could find it – and said she wanted them to get married.

But who else has Carla been married to in Coronation Street?

          Paul Connor

Carla arrived in Weatherfield with her husband, Paul Connor. However, their marriage was hardly on the most solid ground, especially after he spent money that had been set aside for her on his investment in Underworld.

Tensions between the couple only grew when they met Leanne Battersby – a woman he recognised as a sex worker he’d recently hired. Convinced that Paul had slept with Leanne in spite of his protests otherwise, Carla demanded a divorce.

Furious, Paul grabbed Leanne and locked her in the boot of his car. In the ensuing journey to see his brother Liam (who Leanne was dating), distracted Paul crashed the car, dying in the hours which followed. After his death, Carla inherited the majority shares in Underworld, cementing her status as Weatherfield’s top businesswoman.

          Tony Gordon

In 2007, Carla met suave factory client Tony Gordon. They began dating almost immediately, despite Liam’s objections to it being so close to his brother’s death. As it turned out, Liam was just jealous – and the pair kissed as they argued. Afraid to act on their feelings, they ignored these urges.

Carla pursued a relationship with Tony, and Liam began a relationship with Maria Sutherland. Too late, Carla realised the strength of her feeling for Liam, and was unable to stop him from marrying Maria later that year.

In 2008, she accepted Tony’s marriage proposal – if only to make Liam jealous. In the run-up to the wedding, her affair with Liam picked up steam. Tragedy struck on Tony’s stag-do, when Liam was killed in a hit-and-run.  A grief stricken Carla went through with the marriage, unaware that he’d known about the affair and arranged to have Liam killed.

The truth, inevitably, came out. Tony confessed to killing Liam, and was sent to prison for his crimes. However, his repentance wasn’t to last, and he escaped prison in 2010 to torment Carla, along with Maria and Hayley Cropper, holding them hostage in Underworld.

Tony died in the ensuing fire, marking another dead husband for Carla Connor.

The Coronation Street marriages of Carla Connor continued

          Peter Barlow

In 2013, after several years of affairs and off-and-on-again romancing, Carla married Peter Barlow for the first time. However, their marriage was doomed from the start – as Peter began an affair with nanny Tina McIntyre on their wedding day.

By the following year, he and Tina were ready to leave Weatherfield together. This plan hit a sticking point when Rob Donovan murdered her, leaving Peter and Carla in the frame for murder.

They both managed to clear their name, but their marriage (and unborn child) were unable to survive. As his marriage crumbled, Peter left Weatherfield, fleeing to Portsmouth to lick his wounds.

          Nick Tilsley

In Peter’s absence, Carla grew close to neighbour Nick Tilsley, bonding over their disastrous relationship history. As their relationship developed, Carla proposed to Nick, and she accepted.

However, a series of shocks sent Carla off the rails. Learning that Paul Connor had actually been her cousin, recovering alcoholic Carla turned to drink again and had a one-night-stand with a man named Robert Preston.

Carla confessed to sleeping with Robert, but the seeds of doubt had been sown. And, as Tracy kicked off during their vows, Nick continued to have doubts. They did make it down the aisle but Nick backed out soon after – having their marriage annulled as Carla headed off to Devon, alone.

          Peter Barlow… again

After several years apart, Peter and Carla reconnected back in Weatherfield in 2018. They at first attempted to keep their distance – admitting that they still loved each other, but couldn’t risk hurting each other again.

In 2019, Peter was there for Carla as she struggles with a psychotic break, holding herself responsible for the death of a woman in a roof collapse at Underworld. The pair inevitably rekindled their romance as they grew closer together, although their relationship was tested by his sinking back into the bottle and her sleeping with his brother, Adam.

Still, they managed to overcome these (pretty massive) obstacles, and they were married for a second time in 2021. Their second marriage was much happier and more successful than the first… at least until Peter ran over and killed local serial killer Stephen Reid.

Aware that Peter was struggling with his guilt over killing Stephen, Carla persuaded her man to pursue his dreams of sailing the world in a yacht, putting an end to their toxic romance once and for all.

The final nail in the coffin was delivered last year, when Carla received divorce papers from Peter, putting an end to their marriage.

          Will Carla marry Lisa Swain?

In recent months, Carla has fallen into a relationship with local police officer Lisa Swain. Between the return of Rob Donovan, Betsy’s often rotten behaviour, and Carla’s kidney failure, their relationship has weathered so much already… so why not marry?

And, in Coronation Street spoilers for next week, Carla asks Lisa whether she meant what she’d said about marriage. Will Carla tie the knot for a sixth time?

7 exciting Coronation Street spoilers for next week (26th-30th May)

Coronation Street usually airs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV.
