Arc Raiders has received a new update and you know what that means, more tasks to take on in an effort to help both Speranza and your own progression.

One request you’ll have to box off is to lay a bird trap in the Riven Tides map, which, like other assignments of this ilk, requires you to do a little exploring.

Below, we’ll get into where you’ll need to go and how to actually get the job done so you can get to searching for yet more loot.

How to lay a bird trap next to the buoys along the Seabed in Riven Tides

If you’re looking to advance the Avian Alarm Project, the first task on the agenda is laying the bird trap.

To start, don’t worry about needing any sort of bird trap item. It’s one of those quests that essentially ‘gives’ you what you need in an invisible pocket, making things a little easier.

Now, you’re given the roundabout location of along the Seabed for where you need to place this, but it isn’t exactly a specific map marker, meaning you could be running up and down the sandy shores wasting precious Topside time.

You’ll need to look out for the big red buoy with a flock of seagulls sitting at it which is pretty hard to miss, but here is an exact location on the map if you’re having trouble:

Once you’re at the buoy, there should be a box-like outline on the sand where you can lay the bird trap. Perform the action, and it’s as simple as that, you will have just checked off the initial stage in the Avian Alarm Project.

Obviously, be warned that plenty of other raiders will be wanting to wrap this up as well, so keep your wits about you. Don’t forget about the new Turbine Arc, too, which can rip you to shreds pretty quickly.
