    Armaan’s Surprise Proposal

    The episode begins with Abhira admitting she’s silly for breaking the bench where Armaan had lovingly written her name. Armaan arrives with a new name board, making her smile. He says, “You came to me as a responsibility, then became my need, and now, you’ve become my life. If I have you, I have everything. Will you be my wife? Will you marry me?” She hugs him, replying, “You just thought of this now? I thought my proposal was nice, but you’ve outdone me.”

    He responds, “Stop grading our proposals and answer me.” She teases, “As if you don’t know my answer. Yes.” He clarifies, “I mean, will you marry me tomorrow without the elders’ consent and blessings?” She drops the name board, saying, “You know I want to marry you, but…” He interrupts, “Just say yes or no.” She says, “Yes.”

    Planning a Secret Wedding

    He attaches the name board to the bench, declaring, “We’ll marry tomorrow and then have our own house.” She asks, “Will we stay separated from family?” He replies, “You said you love me; then trust my decision.” She tries to explain, but he insists, “Dadi will never accept you. I can’t see you getting insulted. I love you.” She says, “I love you more. Try to understand; we should take this step.” Ruhi overhears them.

    Armaan states, “I’ll wait for you at the Radha Krishna temple tomorrow.” Ruhi returns home, declaring, “I’ll tell everything to Dadisa.” Manisha stops her. Ruhi insists, “I need to talk to Dadi.” Manisha asks, “Is it important?” Ruhi replies, “It’s private; I can’t tell you.” Manisha says, “I’m feeling sleepy. Mummysa had a headache; she took medicine and slept. Don’t disturb her. Behave well and talk to her in the morning.” Ruhi leaves.

    Preparations and Doubts

    Armaan packs his bag. Abhira calls him. He says, “I know what you want to discuss. I won’t change my decision.” She calls again, saying, “I know you’re my family, and I’m yours, but we can’t forget your family.” A box falls; she finds keychains, clicks a picture, and sends it to him, texting, “I want love and family.” He replies, “Maybe family isn’t in your destiny. We’ll make our new family.” He calls the broker, asking, “Did you find the house? Send me the details and pictures.

    My wife and I will shift tomorrow.” Vidya approaches Abhira with a dress, saying, “This is for you.” Abhira wonders if Vidya knows about Armaan’s plans. Vidya continues, “It’s a special day for you and Armaan, your first Teej. Is there anything else?” Abhira responds, “No, just Teej.” Vidya says, “You keep a fast for him and pray.” Abhira asks, “Will Dadi agree?” Vidya leaves. Abhira reflects, “You couldn’t convince Dadi; is Armaan right?”

    Morning Rituals and Hidden Plans

    Armaan writes her name beside his, saying, “I’m ready to spend my life with you.” Abhira thinks, “I’m ready to wait for Dadi’s consent.” Ruhi arrives and argues with her. Abhira asks her to leave and assist someone else. Ruhi departs. The next morning, Rohit wakes up and asks Ruhi, “Are you applying chuna (slaked lime)?” Ruhi replies, “Yes, it makes the mehendi colour darker.” He inquires, “Do you want to strengthen our relationship?” She says, “I’m in your house, applied your name’s mehendi, and kept a fast for you. Do I need to say more?” He smiles and leaves. She thinks, “I have to talk to Dadi.”

    Unexpected Revelations

    Manish and Surekha arrive at the Poddar house. He seems irritated. Ruhi and everyone welcome them. A man approaches, saying, “I want to meet Armaan and give this key.” Ruhi says, “I’ll give it.” He explains, “It’s for his new house. He said he’d move there after marrying today.” She responds, “I’ll give it to him, thanks.” She thinks, “Armaan and you are marrying and leaving this house? No, I can’t let this happen. I have to talk to Dadi.”

      Anupama Written Update Today (12th August 2024) –

      Toshu’s Doubts and Meenu’s Visits

      Toshu shares with Vanraj that he had already been suspicious of Meenu because she often visited Asha Bhavan. Pakhi sarcastically comments about Meenu choosing only a poor guy in the whole world. Baa overhears this and is shocked. Dimpy arrives with a video of Sagar and Meenu, but Titu tries to stop her. Pakhi reveals that their father has already seen the video.

      When Kinjal asks what happened, Toshu tells her not to defend Meenu, implying she is not innocent. Pakhi supports this, but Kinjal insists it might be a misunderstanding. Baa sits down in distress, worried about what to tell Dolly and Sanjay. Pakhi adds that they don’t know what Meenu does when she’s alone.

      Vanraj’s Imaginary Confrontation

      Vanraj sees Meenu coming and imagines telling her that freedom doesn’t suit her, accusing her of breaking his trust by visiting Asha Bhavan. He threatens to restrict her movements, saying she won’t meet Sagar or leave the house without supervision. In his imagination, Meenu defends Sagar, saying she loves him and that he is a good person. Vanraj then snaps out of his thoughts and storms out angrily.

      Meenu’s Fear at the Ashram

      Meenu changes her clothes at the ashram, feeling scared despite being a psychological doctor. Anupama comforts her, saying she understands how it feels. Meanwhile, Bala tends to Sagar’s injuries, asking why he fought with so many goons. Sagar replies that it was about protecting a girl’s honour. Anupama helps Meenu by stitching her dress sleeve and urges her to change her clothes and talk to Vanraj before she does.

      Vanraj’s Disappointment and Meenu’s Plea

      Vanraj and Toshu see Meenu coming out of the ashram with others. Kinjal and Titu try to reassure Baa, who fears that Dolly and Sanjay Kumar will cut ties with them. Baa expresses concern that taking care of someone else’s daughter is four times more difficult. Kinjal warns Baa to calm down for her health, but Baa feels stuck in constant problems since their arrival.

      Vanraj notices Meenu looks upset and asks what happened, but she assures him everything is fine. However, she soon breaks down and tells them everything, explaining that Sagar saved her and that she went to Mami because she always remembers her in times of trouble. Vanraj decides to call Dolly, saying he will send Meenu back because she’s not listening to him. Meenu, in tears, begs Vanraj not to send her back, explaining everything to her mother on the phone.

      Anupama and Nandita’s Worries

      Anupama and Nandita pack tiffins and talk about Indra, who hasn’t called or replied to their messages. Nandita mentions they have only four tiffin orders, and Anupama suggests they try to get canteen orders from the college.

      Vanraj’s Expectations from Meenu

      Vanraj stops Meenu from touching his feet, saying she’s not just his niece but like a daughter to him. He recalls how he placed her feet on his forehead when she was born and took her blessings. Vanraj admits he has no hopes for Toshu and Pakhi but has big expectations from her. He mentions that Toshu and Pakhi don’t listen to him, but he hopes she will.

      Meenu’s Dilemma and Sagar’s Resolve

      Sagar thinks about Meenu while putting on his uniform, deciding not to think about her as they are not a good match. Vanraj warns Meenu that associating with Sagar will ruin his reputation in society and asks her to cut ties with him. Meenu agrees to follow his wishes.

          Rohit Reflects on Ruhi and Arman

          In today’s episode, Rohit is deep in thought about Ruhi and Arman. Arman questions Rohit about his condition in front of Kaveri. Rohit tells Arman to be happy because he plans to marry Abhira. He suggests that instead of asking questions, Arman should start preparing for the wedding.

          As Rohit and Arman talk, Madhav, Abhira, Ruhi, and Vidya notice them. Ruhi decides to step in to create tension between Arman and Rohit, but Vidya stops her.

          Rohit Confronts Arman

          Arman demands an explanation from Rohit about why he mentioned the wedding condition to Kaveri. Rohit explains that until he marries Abhira, his relationship with Ruhi can’t move forward. He accuses Arman of helping Ruhi.

          Arman defends himself, saying he helped Ruhi out of kindness. Rohit remains firm, insisting that Ruhi needs to move on. He stresses that Arman must marry Abhira and move on with his life. Ruhi is shocked by this.

          Kajal and Kaveri Disagree on the Wedding

          Kajal advises Kaveri not to agree to Rohit’s condition. Manisha supports Arman and Abhira and questions Kajal’s opposition to their marriage. Manisha is concerned about Sanjay’s motives, suspecting he wants to take over the Poddar firm by causing family turmoil.

              Ruhi’s Manipulation

              The episode begins with Ruhi treating her wound, thinking her plan will work. She believes that if Armaan feels sorry for her, he will argue with Rohit and Abhira. This will create distance between the couple, weaken their love, and ultimately lead to the end of Rohit and her marriage.

              Ruhi hopes to marry Armaan, thinking that by making Abhira love everything, she will win Armaan over. Ruhi plans to make Abhira leave, vowing that she will shed tears of joy once her plan succeeds.

              Dadi’s Concern and Sanjay’s Plot

              In the morning, Dadi disagrees with a decision. Sanjay warns that Armaan has become Abhira’s puppet, and if they don’t act, Abhira will take control. He urges Dadi to share this concern with the family.

              Armaan apologizes to Abhira, but she scolds him, noting his mood swings. After he leaves, Ruhi arrives, and Abhira threatens to expose her. Ruhi denies any wrongdoing and asks Abhira to stop dragging her into this.

                Vanraj’s Frustration with Family

                Toshu smiles, and Pakhi questions why Toshu is there instead of watching Meenu. They argue about who should take care of Meenu, and Vanraj gets angry, telling them to pack their bags and leave.

                Toshu apologizes for not watching Meenu properly, but Vanraj criticizes them, saying he doesn’t want Meenu to fall in love like they did. He advises Pakhi to focus on her fitness if she can’t handle her daughter.

                Anuj’s Emotional Struggle

                Anuj, overwhelmed with emotion, talks to Aadhya, expressing disbelief that she’s alive. He doesn’t want to stay in the house and leaves, despite Anupama praying for his strength.                 Meenu’s Encounter with Bullies

                For our final ever Web3 Daily news article (we’ll say a proper goodbye on Sunday), it feels fitting to write about FTX.

                (The company that both made us and broke us in many ways – because people love reading about crazy news; but FTX also crippled the crypto industry along with the advertising budgets for many web3 companies).

                On Wednesday this week, a judge formally ordered FTX and it’s sister company, Alameda Research, to pay $12.7 Billion USD to creditors, ending a 20-month-long lawsuit with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

                The order also bans FTX and Alameda from trading digital assets and acting as intermediaries in the market.

                (Nipping in the bud even the slightest chance of a comeback for the company).

                How in the world can a bankrupt company pay $12.7B to creditors?

                Well, when Sam Bankrun-Fraud was sentenced, he was forced to forfeit $11B in assets (and given 25 years in prison for seven counts of fraud, conspiracy, and money laundering).

                Plus, Alameda and FTX had significant crypto holdings in tokens other than the FTT token (FTX’s native token which went to zero) like Solana, which, since the crash that they started, has mostly gone up in value.

                For now, FTX and Alameda have filed for bankruptcy, with the full restructure being administered by Kroll – who have the fun job of figuring out what assets are still owned, and which creditors should get how much, and in what order.
