Ubisoft announces new Raman game is “in early stages” of development, with creator Michel Ancel returning to consult

Following rumours of a remake, Ubisoft has confirmed that a new Rayman game is being considered.

Over the weekend news broke that developers at Ubisoft Montpellier, the team which developed the excellent Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, had been disbanded and that a sequel had been turned down. This report was largely confirmed by Ubisoft itself which stated that “Most of the team members who worked on Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown have shifted to other projects that will benefit from their expertise.”

Tom Hender wrote on Insider Gaming that Ubisoft’s internal expectations for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was that it would sell millions, equalling the biggest metroidvanias on the market. Instead, it has sold around a million copies.

Now, a new report from Grant Taylor-Hill of Insider Gaming is suggesting that one of those projects is a Rayman Remake. According to “sources close to the situation”, the new Rayman game is going by the codename “Project Steambot” with Ubisoft Milan being the primary developers. Based on what he has been told, Grant is reporting that around a dozen developers from the disbanded Prince of Persia team have been shifted over to work on Rayman.

The report goes on to to say that Michel Ancel, the creator of Rayman, is working on the project as a consultant. This has apparently caused some concern among the team as Ancel was previously caught up in allegations of “toxic leadership” in 2020.

Eurogamer contact Ubisoft for more information, and surprisingly Ubisoft confirmed that a new Rayman game is in fact being worked on, with Michel Ancel returning as a consultant. The statement says that the new Rayman phase is “still in its early stages” so we likely won’t hear anything about it anytime soon.

Kate Cassidy Continues to Mourn Liam Payne: “My Heart is Shattered”

Kate Cassidy Continues to Mourn Liam Payne: “My Heart is Shattered”

Kate Cassidy remains shocked and saddened to her core.

Following the sudden death of Liam Payne, the singer’s girlfriend of two years has penned a new tribute in his honor… taking to Instagram to share photos of the couple and a heartfelt message about their past and hoped-for future.

“I don’t even know where to begin. My heart is shattered in ways I can’t put into words. I wish you could see the huge impact you’ve had on the world, even as it feels so dark right now,” Cassidy wrote, addressing Payne directly.

“You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone — millions of fans, your family, friends and especially me. You are so incredibly loved.”

Cassidy previously broke her silence on this tragedy on October 18.

As you very likely know by now, the One Direction alum fell to his death from a third-floor balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina this month.

A preliminary autopsy report revealed that Payne died from “multiple injuries involving ‘internal and external hemorrhage,’” and was believed to be in a “state of semi or total unconsciousness” at the time of the fall.

Additional investigations have since concluded that Payne had multiple drugs in his system when he died, including the presence of pink cocaine.

Cassidy, meanwhile, started dating the late 31-year old in 2022.

She said on October 23, though, that the couple talked about a lot more than just dating.

“A few weeks ago, we sat outside on a beautiful evening manifesting our lives together. I keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it. It said, ‘Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444,” wrote the model, adding elsewhere:

“You are — because I can’t say were — my best friend, the love of my life and everyone you touched felt just as special as I did.

“Your energy was contagious, lighting up every room you walked into…

“None of this feels real, and I can’t wrap my head around this new reality of not having you here. I’m struggling to figure out how to live in a world without you by myself. Together, we got to be kids again, always finding joy in the smallest things.”

In addition to Cassidy, Payne is survived by his parents, his two older sisters and his 7-year-old son, Bear Grey.

Numerous celebrities, such as Justin Bieber, have expressed their extreme sympathy and sorrow in the wake of Payne’s passing.

“You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel,” Cassidy concluded on Wednesday.

“I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, carrying our dreams and memories everywhere I go.”

Crafting the Perfect Look for Your Wedding – The Luxury Lifestyle Magazine

Crafting the Perfect Look for Your Wedding – The Luxury Lifestyle Magazine

Crafting the Perfect Look for Your Wedding – The Luxury Lifestyle Magazine

When it comes to weddings, every detail matters, and the groom’s suit is no exception. While off-the-rack suits can be convenient, nothing compares to the personalized fit and style of a custom suit. Choosing a custom suit for your wedding ensures that your outfit is tailored specifically to your body, preferences, and the overall aesthetic of the event. From selecting fabrics to adding personalized details, the process of crafting a custom suit offers an unmatched level of elegance, comfort, and individuality.

The primary advantage of a custom suit is the perfect fit. Unlike off-the-rack options, which are made to fit a general body type, a custom suit is designed with your exact measurements in mind. Whether you’re tall, short, broad-shouldered, or slim, a custom suit will be tailored to enhance your specific shape. The jacket will fit snugly around the shoulders, taper smoothly at the waist, and the trousers will have the perfect length and taper for your legs. This tailored fit not only makes the suit more comfortable to wear but also ensures you look sharp and polished from every angle.

One of the most exciting aspects of creating a custom suit is the ability to choose fabrics that match your vision. Whether you prefer classic wool for a traditional look, lightweight linen for a summer wedding, or a luxurious cashmere blend, the choice of fabric can completely transform the style and feel of your suit. You can also select from a wide range of colors and patterns, allowing you to create a suit that fits seamlessly with the wedding’s theme or season. For a formal evening wedding, you might choose a rich navy or black fabric, while a light gray or beige could be perfect for a daytime or outdoor ceremony.

Beyond fabric selection, custom suits offer endless opportunities for personalization. From lapel styles to button choices, every detail of the suit can be customized to reflect your personal style.

Do you prefer a peak lapel for a bold, structured look or a notch lapel for something more understated? Would you like your suit to have two buttons or three? These decisions allow you to craft a suit that feels uniquely yours. Even subtle details, such as the lining, stitching, or monogramming, can add a special touch that sets your suit apart from the ordinary.

Another significant benefit of custom suits is the ability to control the overall silhouette and structure. Whether you prefer a modern slim fit, a more classic cut, or something in between, a custom tailor will work with you to achieve the exact look you want. This flexibility allows you to create a suit that not only looks great but also reflects your personality. If you want something bold and contemporary, you can opt for a sharp, streamlined silhouette with sleek lines. If you lean toward tradition, a more structured and timeless fit might be your ideal choice.

Custom suits are also an excellent option for grooms who want to coordinate their attire with the overall wedding theme or color scheme. Whether you’re looking for a specific shade to match the bridesmaids’ dresses or a fabric that complements the venue’s aesthetic, working with a tailor allows you to fine-tune every aspect of the suit to ensure it aligns perfectly with the day’s vision. Custom details such as matching pocket squares, ties, or cufflinks can further enhance the look, helping you create a cohesive and polished appearance.

While custom suits are often seen as an investment, the craftsmanship and quality that go into their creation ensure that they stand the test of time. A well-made custom suit can be worn long after the wedding, becoming a staple piece in your wardrobe for other formal events.

Additionally, the durability of high-quality fabrics and precise tailoring means that your suit will maintain its shape and structure, offering both comfort and style for years to come.

In the end, opting for a custom suit for your wedding is about more than just wearing something that fits well. It’s about creating an outfit that reflects your individuality, suits the occasion, and allows you to feel confident and stylish on your special day. By working closely with a tailor to select fabrics, customize details, and perfect the fit, you’ll walk down the aisle in a suit that is uniquely yours, setting the tone for one of the most memorable moments of your life.

LeBron James, Bronny Sued Over 2022 Car Crash

LeBron James and his son, Bronny, are being dragged to a different kind of court … TMZ Sports has learned they’ve just been sued over their alleged roles in a 2022 car crash.

Court documents we obtained showed the suit was filed by two plaintiffs in Los Angeles County on Tuesday afternoon … just hours before the father-and-son duo took the floor together for the first time in a regular season game during the Lakers’ season-opening win over Minnesota at Crypto.com Arena.

      lebron james bronny james sub

In the suit, April Almanza Lopez and Kiara Rae McGillen allege they were driving on a highway on November 13, 2022 in Littlerock, Calif. … when the Jameses slammed into them.

Lopez and McGillen stated in the docs they sustained injuries that will require further medical attention. They also claimed the car they were driving was damaged and has lost value due to the wreck.

They’re suing the two NBA stars for unspecified damages.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

We’ve reached out to the plaintiffs’ attorney for comment, but haven’t heard back yet. The Jameses, meanwhile, have not addressed the matter publicly.

Despite the suit, the Jameses had a memorable Tuesday … they played together for several minutes in a big 110-103 victory over the Timberwolves — and afterward, LeBron said on his Instagram page he’d “NEVER FORGET THAT MOMENT FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.”

Strictly star Chris McCausland ‘taking it one dance at a time’ as Janette Manrara quizzes him on winning

Strictly star Chris McCausland ‘taking it one dance at a time’ as Janette Manrara quizzes him on winning

Tonight (October 23) on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, Chris McCausland and his professional partner Dianne Buswell joined host Janette Manrara.

The pair spoke first about their stunning dance last Saturday night to You’ll Never Walk Alone.

        Strictly star Chris McCausland ’emotional’

Janette praised Dianne for her stunning choreography, picking up on the poignant moment Chris walked across the floor on his own before the pair embraced in a spin.

Speaking about the moment, Dianne told Janette: “I did tell Chris about it and he was a little bit apprehensive about it at first. He said: ‘I’m not sure if this will work.’”

Turning to Chris, she added: “But you even said the moment we tried it in the rehearsal room and you walked towards me and we got to each other and did our standing spin and I saw a little moisture in your eye… You really felt that emotion and it was then that we said yes, this is going to be it.”

“A little moisture in the eye,” Chris echoed, cuddling into Dianne.

Sensing the comic may get emotional again, Janette offered a warning ahead of her next question.

Dianne Buswell speaking on It Takes Two

        Janette’s warning to Chris

“Well I don’t want to make you more emotional but I’ve got a little question about what’s going on at the moment,” she said.

Janette then added: “We’re halfway through the competition and the press are picking favourites over who’ll win. Your name’s in there, Chris, what do you make of that?”

Seeming genuinely flabbergasted that he’s lasted this long, Chris told her: “I’m surprised I’m here to be honest. I didn’t think I’d be able to do it, I’m surprised at myself.”

He then added: “I’m surprising people out there, I’m surprising myself and I’m surprising you [turning to Dianne]. Together we’re surprising ourselves. All of that.”

        ‘One dance at a time’

Modest as ever, Chris then joked: “I hate to go back to the old football manager interview but we’re taking it one game at a time.”

“One dance at a time,” Dianne repeated, before the pair spoke about their routine to Stayin’ Alive coming up on Halloween Week.

UFO 50’s Retro Gaming Masterpieces, As Told By Steam Reviews

UFO 50’s Retro Gaming Masterpieces, As Told By Steam Reviews

Do you fondly remember playing 8-bit adventures on the NES and original Sega consoles? Titles like Contra, Ninja Gaiden, and Mega Man 2, all from the late ‘80s, provided a unique gaming experience that’s hard to replicate today with modern technology. Hard, sure, but it’s possible—as we’ve now witnessed firsthand with the release of UFO 50.

The collection—presented as a lost collection from a forgotten developer of the era—features an assortment of single- and multiplayer games across multiple genres, from platformers to roguelikes, with even a few in-depth RPGs mixed in. All are created with an 8-bit retro style that harkens back to the days of gaming in your living room after school. You can beat some of the games in mere minutes, then move on to the next; others, however, require a few hours and multiple playthroughs. They’re all unique, many of them are memorable, and some deserve no more than a single run-through.

When we sifted through the Steam user reviews, we found an overwhelmingly positive reception from the gaming community. Most people love the indie retro collection and cannot praise the fun factor enough. As you’ll see below, nostalgia plays a significant role in many of the reviews. Numerous players gave a thumbs up because it felt like playing a game from their childhood, and there’s nothing wrong with feeling young again and enjoying your hobby!

But a few couldn’t get past many titles, which lack the quality-of-life features in modern gaming, or–they say–feel outdated and unnecessarily complex just for nostalgia’s sake. Despite the positive reviews, the negative ones prove highly negative. Many curse out the game and its developers; they shout from the rooftops about how unfun they thought most of the retro titles were to play.

Surprisingly, we didn’t find many meme reviews, just plenty of positive or negative reviews to help you better understand the game. Here is UFO 50, as told by Steam reviews!

A John Wick prequel is in the works about how the titular assassin managed to retire, and best of all? It’s an anime

          0
A John Wick prequel is in the works about how the titular assassin managed to retire, and best of all? It’s an anime

The previously announced John Wick anime project is still on the way, and now it’s apparently a film about how the titular character retired.

Around this time last year, John Wick series director Chad Stahelski shared that an anime project set in the franchise’s world was in the works, and at the time it was planned to be a TV show. Now, though, according to a recent interview from The Hollywood Reporter with Stahelski, it seems that the anime has been retooled slightly. This outing will apparently be a prequel, focused on everyone’s favourite titular assassin, as he sets out on the “impossible task” that allowed him to retire for love. Whether that’s something that needed to be covered in a film or not is up for debate, but still, if done right a John Wick anime could be a pretty fun trip to the cinema.

          Manage cookie settings

At the time of the anime’s announcement, Stahelski said they’re doing an anime because “I love Japanese anime so much. To create all the cool stories that anime could achieve better than we could and the TV show to expand our world, we’ll still get our fix, you know what I mean? And we’ll still have all the fun.” Stahelski is clearly trying to get his mitts on as much anime as possible, as he’s also been overseeing the action sequences in the upcoming Shinichiro Watanabe-directed series Lazarus, Watanabe best known for creating Cowboy Bebop, so I’m expecting some strong fight scenes from that one.

Stahelski also spoke of a possible John Wick 5, though didn’t necessarily commit to anything coming that way, saying, “is there an opportunity to do [John Wick 5]? Of course, there is, whether it’s for money or for creativity. Jesus, in the last three years, I’ve already had three or four versions of a John Wick 5. They were different ways to crack the story, but it’s almost a mental exercise for me.”

However, to preserve the ending of the fourth film, he did note that it “would not be part of that [John Wick: Chapter 4] storyline. It would not be what you would think it is. As far as [John Wick: Chapter 4], we’ve peaked.”

There’s plenty in the works for John Wick in any case, as there’s a sequel TV series on the way, alongside that Ballerina spin-off due out next year.

Bitcoin Price Struggles To Break Resistance Above $68,000

Bitcoin price slipped below $50,000 on October 10 amid rumors that the US Federal Reserve might pause November rate cuts. Coming after the Labor Department reported a slightly higher Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation rate for September, Atlanta Fed President Raphael Bostic said the central bank might consider holding off on cutting interest rates in November.

Bitcoin price saw volatility last week amid the US inflation rate, which reported a 0.2% increase instead of the 0.1% expectation combined with weekly jobless claims. However, Bitcoin price rebounded back to a three-month high of $68,000, supported by Spot Bitcoin ETF inflows.

According to Investopedia, the 12 United States Spot Bitcoin ETFs have received total inflows of $1.4 billion this week, with the funds on pace to record strong weekly inflows. Bitcoin price as of this writing is at $66,907, and it is struggling to maintain momentum above $68,000.

Experts attribute the surge in ETF inflows to the Federal Reserve 50 base point cut and expect investors’ optimism to rise if the rate cuts continue till the end of the year. As such, altcoins could also be set for a rally as crypto experts bet it all on ETFSwap (ETFS) to lead the momentum.
