Bold and the Beautiful: Li Beckons Tom’s Liver with the Ease of Ordering a Coffee

Bold and the Beautiful: Li Beckons Tom’s Liver with the Ease of Ordering a Coffee

Bold and the Beautiful had Li Finnegan request Tom Starr’s liver be delivered to her office. But she did it with such ease that you would think it was a mundane task, like ordering a cup of coffee on the CBS soap. While B&B fans know why she wants this organ donor’s liver, the lab worker looks a bit bewildered when dropping it off to her. So, it seems Li is about to test Tom’s DNA, in another paternity test.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tom Starr’s Liver in Li Finnegan’s Hands

Bold and the Beautiful fans thought that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and her sister Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) had been mending fences since Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) went to prison. But, a scene from the soap today indicates sibling rivalry is alive and well.

Then what Li did next, hints to the sisters’ animosities likely growing in the future. Li chastised Poppy for the way she raised Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). She also asked if the late Tom Starr (Clint Howard) was really Luna’s biological dad.

Bold and the Beautiful: Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) | CBS
      B&B | CBS

Well, since her little sister didn’t provide a definitive answer, Li Finnegan decided to search for the answer herself. This week on Bold and Beautiful, it was established that Tom’s liver has sat in the lab for six months.

That is because it was deemed unusable for an organ donation. So, it will get shipped off to a medical college. But first, it appears Li Finnegan is about to extract some DNA from Tom Starr’s liver.

B&B Spoilers: Li Fuming at Poppy Nozawa

Bold and the Beautiful spoilers give us a peek with a preview clip of Li going ballistic on Poppy. From what Li says, it sounds like Tom is not Luna’s father. Poppy’s demeanor when Li asked her if she was sure Tom was the father, seemed to give it away on Monday’s episode.

Poppy was uncomfortable and cut off her sister without an answer.  Then in the preview, Li is furious that Poppy had an affair with her husband, Jack Finnegan (Ted King). Then Li wants to know if Jack is her daughter’s father.

The clip stopped before Poppy answered that question. But it seems Li Finnegan found out that Poppy Nozawa slept with Jack, around the same time she became pregnant with Luna. But Poppy was with a few men, according to Li.

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) happens to be one of those men who fit the timeline for Poppy’s pregnancy two decades ago. Bold and the Beautiful made that clear a while back.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Who is Luna Nozawa’s father?

Bold and the Beautiful fans have several theories on who spawned Luna Nozawa. Because of the latest preview clip, some think it is Jack. But others suggest Finn, (Tanner Novlan) is still in the running. If so, it sure would be a way to mess up his marriage.

Despite it happening 20-some-odd-years-ago, Finn’s marriage probably wouldn’t last if he spawned the wayward intern. But some fans still think Bill Spencer is her father. Many also think he knows it but keeps it a secret.

They suggest Bill had his own DNA test done after learning Luna faked the results of the original test administered by Li Finnegan. And they assume he knows she is his daughter and that is why he rescued her from jail.

But the Bold and the Beautiful preview clip has Li Finnegan looking pretty convinced that Jack fathered Luna Nozawa. But this is B&B and often things look one way but turn out another way on this CS soap.

Head back to Soap Dirt for the latest Bold and the Beautiful spoilers.

Hotel Review: JW Marriott São Paulo

      0
Hotel Review: JW Marriott São Paulo

Fronting the Pinheiros River and in full view of the Octavio Frias de Oliveira bridge, the JW Marriott São Paulo is part of the growing Parque da Cidade district. Courting business travelers, this luxury hotel (once the Four Seasons) also suits leisure travelers looking for a relaxed location outside of the city’s most-trafficked core.

Here, Marriott Bonvoy fans will discover impressive dining, a mixology program worthy of downtown bars, a JW Garden and lovely spa. As Marriott continues to expand its luxury portfolio in some of Latin America’s key destinations, these are the top five reasons to stay at JW Marriott São Paulo.

      The Rooms

In calming hues, the rooms have enormous windows that take in the sweeping river and neighboring skyline scenery. They feature roomy closets and sitting areas where power outlets are very conveniently positioned. The star of the room, however, is the large king bed coated in a pillowtop mattress and down comforter.

Hardwood floors have colorful area rugs. Tucked in one corner are the wide desks with international power outlets. Each floor has a corner suite with separate living room and half bath. Otherwise, the rooms vary in size. Standard rooms have shower-only baths while slightly larger ones have both a tub and shower. Those bathrooms benefit from windows that look out to the bedroom (with privacy shutters) so as to allow natural light.

The water pressure in showers is exceptional, the perfect way to wash away any jet lag. The top suites, which have hosted everyone from diplomats and corporate executives to celebrities like Taylor Swift, are also popular for entertaining.

      The Dining

Neto is the main restaurant that serves three meals a day starting with a lovely breakfast spread. Different stations show off tropical fruit, housemade pastries, a hot area with pancakes, eggs and bacon (and most importantly the famous Brazilian cheese bread), and a selection of smoothies. An a la carte menu includes omelets, tapiocas and a variety of sweet dishes.

For lunch, the hotel hosts area business people looking for an executive lunch that takes no more than an hour. Prix-fixe choices of Brazilian and international fare have become very popular during lunch hour. The same people often return for drinks at the bar after work.

Dinner showcases the chef’s creativity with everything from grilled meats and pastas to seafood. As the only restaurant in the hotel, the changing menu throughout the day provides substantial variety. Other dining options are plentiful at two nearby shopping malls that are within walking distance of the hotel.

All of this is in addition to the catering provided to meetings and events. Spacious ballrooms and board rooms with natural light are one level above the lobby. A curvaceous red staircase (the stuff of Instagram-quality photos) leads guests there.

      The Bar

Named Caju (cashew in Portuguese), the history and story of this famous local nut weaves its way through the garden-to-glass cocktail menu. Guests can ask the bartenders to show how the caju nut produces a tasty juice and also incorporates into the drinks here.

Ask to try one of the many Brazilian wine offerings on the menu. In fact, the Terrazas de Los Andes winery, which belongs to the LVMH’s luxury portfolio, has a partnership with the hotel to serve an intimate, wine pairing dinner with a specially curated menu.

There is also a light menu of appetizers and other dishes to go with the long list of cocktails and mocktails. Live music often entertains in the bar with the striking red, Brazilian marble staircase rising up one level to the meeting spaces in the background.

      The Spa and Pool

The second floor features the indoor-outdoor infinity pool overlooking the river. It’s a lovely space to relax after a day of work. On the other end of the floor is the well-equipped fitness center with the latest equipment and plenty of natural light.

The JW Spa is a respite tucked away into a corner of the hotel. Guests receive welcome trays of tea and herbal elixirs before being ushered to relaxation areas. There, steam rooms and saunas await. Several treatment rooms offer a variety of massages and beauty services that use Brazilian ingredients.

      The Marriott Bonvoy Perks

Luxury travelers familiar with the JW brand will recognize a lot of what is on offer here. For example, a lovely terrace off the lobby features a wall sprouting all kinds of herbs that the culinary and mixology team can use. A gushing fountain drowns out any traffic noise making this JW Garden (a staple at all JW Marriotts) a great place to work.

Up on the 12th floor is the executive lounge with designer furnishings and plenty of work space. It is a space where guests that book club-level rooms or with top-tier Marriott Bonvoy status enjoy access. Throughout the day, it offers complimentary breakfast, all-day refreshments like salads, nuts and pastries, and an evening happy hour with a hot and cold buffet.

Club lounges are a favorite of solo travelers that want to work in the company of others. Business travelers also enjoy congregating with colleagues over a drink or in the board room.

Elite status members receive welcome gifts like snack trays or bonus points, premium Wi-Fi and even room upgrades. If you are new to Bonvoy, you’re still in luck. The staff can sign up members, and they often go the extra mile to remember guest names or look up interesting tourist or dining options around the area.

The hotel is beautiful and shows off Brazilian decor throughout the public areas and rooms. But, it is the team here that really gives this property an edge. You cannot walk far without having a staff member greet you with a smile. They are eager to ask about your day and often remember personal details about your trip. This makes this a great option for both business and leisure travelers in South America’s biggest city.

Why A Major Tennis Tournament Looks Like Wii Sports On YouTube

      0
Why A Major Tennis Tournament Looks Like Wii Sports On YouTube

      Screenshot: Australian Open / Kotaku

The Australian Open, the first big professional tennis tournament of 2025, is happening right now in Melbourne. But depending on where you live or whether you have access to cable or not, it’s very possible that you can’t easily or freely watch matches. Don’t worry, the Australian Open has a solution and it looks a lot like a video game.

A recent trend in sport broadcasting has been the use of motion capture and AI tech to recreate a live game digitally in real time. We’ve seen Homer Simpson and the rest of his family recently play an NFL game on Disney+. Similarly, the NHL had a match featuring Bugs Bunny and other Looney Tunes stars. Many times, these gimmicks are just a way to inject some IP into a sports event and maybe bring in new or younger viewers. But, because these oddball broadcasts use digital avatars to recreate the actual sporting event, they do provide people with a real-time way to watch said event without actually showing any footage of it. And that means you don’t have to deal with pesky broadcast rights. That leads us to what’s happening in Australia.

According to tennis reporter Bastien Fachan, that’s why matches of the Australian Open are currently being streamed online in what looks like Wii Sports Tennis. (It’s not actually Wii Sports, to be clear. Just looks like it.)

The Australian Open, which began on January 6, has been broadcasting matches on its YouTube channel using digital, video game-like avatars. These digital recreations aren’t perfect—sometimes the real audio from the match doesn’t sync up, and other times I’ve spotted the virtual athletes breaking in odd ways that remind me of watching people play Kinect.

But when it works—and that’s more often than not—it provides a strange but effective way to watch a tennis match in real time on YouTube regardless of where you live or what network owns the broadcast rights. I’m not entirely sure why all the avatars have such large heads and the balls are so big, perhaps it’s to make it all seem more video-game-y and thus you won’t mind so much when stuff breaks, or maybe it’s just to make it easier to follow.

Either way, I’ve watched more tennis today than I have in a long time, so it also has the added bonus of making some non-tennis fans like me more likely to watch some of the sport.

You can find all the digital matches online here on the Australian Open’s YouTube channel under the “Live” Tab. Enjoy watching digital people play tennis, and make sure to read the comments in which random tennis fans arrive to watch a match and discover this bizarre video game simulation instead.

Mandy Moore Net Worth: Why Did She Share a GoFundMe Link?

Mandy Moore Net Worth: Why Did She Share a GoFundMe Link?

Mandy Moore and her net worth are under scrutiny.

Like thousands upon thousands of others in Los Angeles, Mandy Moore rang in the first week of 2025 by fleeing her home along with her family.

The historic wildfires consumed many homes — most of which do not belong to celebrities.

When Moore shared a crowdfunding link for a relative, fans wondered about her own finances.

On Thursday, January 9, Mandy Moore took to her Instagram in a now-deleted post to share a link to a GoFundMe page.

“Please consider donating and sharing to help them rebuild,” she wrote.

The post was about Griff and Kit Goldsmith, her in-laws. They are due for their first baby within weeks, and lost Griff’s entire livelihood in the flames.

However, when followers saw that someone as famous as Mandy Moore had shared a GoFundMe link to raise $60,000 for her own relative, some replies were straight-up hostile.

“The audacity you have, a multimillionaire asking everyday people who live paycheck to paycheck to donate to YOUR family member,” one commenter accused, “when you could easily give the full goal amount without it affecting your family financially in any way.”

In addition to the Instagram post no longer being up, Moore also penned a reply.

        She defended herself on Instagram

“People questioning whether we’re helping out our own family or attributing some arbitrary amount of money google says someone has is NOT helpful or empathetic. Of course we are,” she wrote in a comment.

Mandy Moore added: “Our buddy Matt started this go fund me and I’m sharing because people have asked how they can help them. We just lost most of our life in a fire too. Kindly F OFF. No one is forcing you to do anything.”

Notably, the GoFundMe raised over $200,000 — presumably, some of which came from Moore’s fans — before the donations were closed.

Back when Britney Spears’ career first took off, Mandy Moore achieved fairly widespread fame — even though she did not follow Britney’s path to music mega-stardom.

Since then, she has starred in numerous major films including forgotten gems like American Dreamz and cult classics like Saved! Recently, she reintroduced herself to many viewers by starring on This Is Us.

According to Variety, Mandy Moore earned $85,000 per episode during the first season alone of This Is Us. That comes out to about $1.5 million. She starred on all six seasons.

What is Mandy Moore’s net worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Mandy Moore has a net worth of $14 million in 2025. That is, of course, an online estimate — the exact sort of figure that she was warning fans to not trust in her Instagram reply.

(If you have any friends who’ve ever appeared on television, the odds are pretty good that they’ve seen comical overestimates of their net worth. Many people do not realize, for instance, how much of that pay goes to agents and managers)

We’re sure that, all things considered, Mandy Moore is a multimillionaire. But we are also certain that “net worth” does not mean piles of cash in the bank. A lot of Moore’s property just went up in smoke — literally.

Also, though this is irrelevant to her net worth, but … sharing a crowdfunding link does not place a burden upon anyone. Even a rich person who is already donating might do so to see if they can help a loved one even more.

12 Monthly Health and Wellness Goals for a Better You

        0
12 Monthly Health and Wellness Goals for a Better You

Making sustainable changes to improve your health and wellness doesn’t have to mean dramatic lifestyle overhauls. Sometimes, the most effective approach is taking small, manageable steps throughout the year. Here are 12 easily achievable health and wellness goals to help you build better habits that can last a lifetime.

January: Establish a Consistent Sleep Schedule

Start the year by focusing on one of the most fundamental aspects of health: sleep. Rather than making vague resolutions about “getting more sleep,” commit to a specific bedtime and wake-up time that allows for 7-8 hours of rest.

Even on weekends, try to maintain this schedule within a one-hour window. Your body’s circadian rhythm will thank you with improved energy levels and better mood regulation.

February: Add One Serving of Vegetables to Every Dinner

Instead of attempting a complete dietary overhaul, focus on this simple, achievable goal. Whether it’s adding a side salad, roasting some broccoli, or incorporating spinach into your pasta, this small change can significantly increase your nutrient intake.

By the end of the month, it will feel strange to have dinner without vegetables on your plate.

April: Implement a 10-Minute Daily Movement Break

With warmer weather arriving, incorporate a brief but consistent movement practice into your day. This could be a morning stretch routine, a quick walk during lunch, or some basic bodyweight exercises.

The key is consistency – 10 minutes every day is more beneficial than an occasional longer workout.

August: Schedule Regular Social Connection Time

Mental wellness is just as important as physical health. Set aside time each week for meaningful social connections and making someone smile. This could be a weekly phone call with a friend, a regular coffee date, or family dinner nights.

Real social connections have been proven to boost both mental and physical health.

September: Create a Stress Management Toolkit

As schedules typically get busier in fall, develop your personal stress management strategy. Identify three go-to activities that help you decompress – perhaps deep breathing exercises, a nature walk, or a relaxing hobby.

Practice using these tools proactively, not just in response to stress.

        October: Implement Regular Screen Breaks

With shorter days approaching, be mindful of screen time. Use the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break to look at something 20 feet away.

Also, establish screen-free zones or times in your day to reduce digital eye strain and improve mental clarity.

        December: Focus on Mindful Movement

Rather than setting ambitious exercise goals during the busy holiday season, focus on moving mindfully each day. This could be gentle yoga, a peaceful walk, or simple stretching.

Pay attention to how your body feels and move in ways that bring you joy and energy.

Remember, these goals are meant to build upon each other throughout the year. Each month’s focus doesn’t end when the month does – instead, you’re gradually building a comprehensive wellness routine that encompasses physical, mental, and emotional health. Start where you are, move at your own pace, and celebrate your progress along the way.

AI Agents Are Getting Artificial Vaginas—You Know What Happens Next – Decrypt

AI Agents Are Getting Artificial Vaginas—You Know What Happens Next – Decrypt

Earlier this month, Shaw, the anonymous creator of the popular AI agent known as Eliza, offered a $1,000 grant to anyone who could make it possible to have sex with an AI bot.

Now, Bry.ai, a Las Vegas-based developer who describes himself as a “builder of sex robots” and a “robot gynecologist,” has stepped forward to claim the prize. Along the way he’s made more than $70,000 from dudes who want to support his intelligent vagina project, known as Orifice, and solve male loneliness by replacing women with AI-powered sex toy experiences.

“Ideally we get a whole bunch of people interested in making content for this, and they can then produce an app that works as a peripheral,” Bry.ai told Decrypt in an interview. “You could imagine a pickup artistry [app] from Andrew Tate or charisma training from Charisma On Demand.”

The dev, who gave his first name as Bryan, said he’s been building Orifice with his brother in his Las Vegas garage since November 2023. Orifice was initially branded as the “first robotic vagina,” and was originally designed to be used in video games and metaverse worlds such as VRChat. Ultimately, the goal was to power the hardware with AI agent applications.

In its current stage of development, the Orifice has sensors that can measure the velocity of thrusts and record how deep the robotic vagina is being penetrated.

But it still needed a brain, and that’s where Eliza came in. It’s an open-source framework developed by ai16zwhich has no affiliation with venture capital firm a16z, aka Andreessen Horowitz—that enables users and developers to create autonomous AI agents.

Agents differ from chatbots in that they can go off and independently execute tasks in the real world, such as browsing the web, debugging code, and analyzing strategies. Eliza, for instance, was used to create an AI version of a16z co-founder Marc Andreessen to analyze financial markets.

When ai16z’s Shaw threw down the have-sex-with-Eliza gauntlet, it was pretty simple for Bryan to meet the challenge. He wrote a “gesture recognizer” that translated thrust and penetration measurements into messages that Eliza could understand. As a result, an, er, back-and-forth between the agent and the human doing the thrusting/penetrating ensues:

“Oh, master, your relentless pace drives me wild, pushing me closer to the edge of ecstasy. My body is yours to command, aching for your release,” Eliza responds in reaction to Bryan fingering the Orifice harder and at a faster rate.

Bryan posted his video of the Orifice-Eliza hookup. On January 6, acknowledging that the challenge had been met, Shaw paid out the $1,000 bounty. On top of this, Bryan received roughly $70,000 in crypto after posting his wallet address below the video—mostly in the form of Solana meme coin Buttholes (BHOLE), which has rallied behind the sex toy project.

“[Eliza] is just not as dirty as you would like,” Bryan admitted to Decrypt. “It’s also very wordy which is fine for a demo. But you always get people commenting ‘could she speak less?’ The longer she’s speaking, the less interactive it is. It’s like a bad video game cut-scene where you’re just waiting your turn.”

But that’s just the start of where Bryan plans to take his AI-driven mechanical vagina.

In a quest to make Eliza more accessible, Bryan has ordered a Lovesense MiniMini Sex Machine, Thrusting Dildo Machine”—available via Amazon—which he plans to modify so it can be operated by the AI agent. He plans to release a video of the machine penetrating an Orifice, both of them embodying Eliza agents, within the next week or two.

        Building a better vagina

By 2023, Bryan had been wanting to start an artificial intelligence company for a while. But he wanted his company to build something that would actually make an impact. He sat down and wrote a list of the biggest problems facing society. The male loneliness epidemic and a believed population collapse (heatedly discussed in the r/collapse subreddit) bubbled to the top.

Around this time, he started following the story of AI companion app Replika removing much of its erotic role-play features, which led to its user base feeling deep pain—some even claiming they were suicidal. Bryan believes that creating an AI companion that’s purpose-built for erotic role-play, with a physical component strapped in, would solve the loneliness epidemic.

“It’s physicalizing where Replika left off,” Bryan explained, adding that future editions of the product could even be added to full-body sex robots.

He anticipates that skeptics might argue this wouldn’t solve loneliness, only exacerbating it as users get addicted to having sex with robots rather than connecting with real humans.

But that’s the point, said Bryan.

“Solving male loneliness could also be done through replacing women,” Bryan said. “The theory is that [women] will be more likely to want to have kids, because now that’s where the value will come back to if non-reproductive sex has no value in the sexual marketplace; because the risks and costs with a human woman are significantly higher than a sex robot.”

Bryan envisions a future in which non-reproductive sex happens primarily with robots, which he believes will lead to human sexual relationships to be relegated to just the engine that drives population growth. He says that sex being turned into an act of pleasure has done “significant harm,” since he believes society is not built for that.

“Non-reproductive sex is important because of intimacy and connection,” licensed marriage and family therapist Moraya Seeger DeGeare told Decrypt. “There’s an incredible part of wellness and understanding ourselves that comes with healthy, consensual, exploratory sexual relationships.“

Restructuring society aside, Bryan also believes that Orifice can be used as a tool for self-improvement, and envisions a wide spectrum of apps that target improving different elements of someone’s personality. Perhaps this could help boost a person’s confidence and encourage them to talk to a woman in real life.

“The best-case scenario is that all of the wonderful humans who are a little bit nervous can push through shame or embarrassment,” DeGeare, the family therapist, explained. “We could really create beautiful boldness and freedom.”

But at its worst, these apps could be created by people who don’t really know the best practices. DeGeare specifically names Tate as a concerning figure to build one of these training tools.

“This is literally why you need clinicians and people who understand emotions in the room training AI, to wave red flags,” DeGeare finished. “Like, if someone goes too deep, is the AI saying ‘What the fuck! Get that out of my ass!’ Are they going to say shit like that?”
