Taylor Swift’s Alleged Role In ‘It Ends With Us’ Casting Exposed

A resurfaced interview is shedding new light on Taylor Swift’s involvement in the production of “It Ends with Us,” suggesting that the pop icon may have played a bigger role than previously acknowledged.

While sources have attempted to distance Swift from the ongoing legal battle between the film’s director, Justin Baldoni, and its lead actress, Blake Lively, newly resurfaced statements from Baldoni and actress Isabela Ferrer indicate that Swift had direct influence over casting decisions.

During a past interview with “Access Hollywood,” Baldoni revealed that he consulted both Lively and Swift when selecting Ferrer for the role of young Lily Bloom, the character played by Lively.

“I had actually brought in and showed her casting tape to Blake and Taylor and they were both, like, ‘Yes! Her,’” Baldoni said in the clip, adding, “And that’s a true story.”

Meanwhile, Ferrer confirmed Swift’s involvement in her casting while speaking to Extra at the film’s premiere.

“I don’t even know if I’m supposed to be saying it, but I’m saying it!” she said hesitantly. “Yeah, she was a helpful part of the process of the audition, which I found out later after I got it and that rocked my world. I have no words.”

Blake Lively’s Connection To Taylor Swift In The Film

Beyond casting, Swift also had a direct impact on the film’s soundtrack.

Lively previously stated that she personally reached out to her longtime friend to request permission to use Swift’s song “My Tears Ricochet” in the trailer and soundtrack.

“I think that, for better or worse, she experienced the whole thing with me,” Lively shared during an August 2024 interview with “CBS Mornings.”

Lively also admitted that including Swift’s music in the film was not something she initially thought was possible.

“This was actually, it’s quite a small budget movie. … So we never thought, like, our eyeballs were not that big to think that we could put one of her songs in the movie and it had to be.”

Baldoni’s Lawsuit Name-Drops Taylor Swift

While Swift’s name was already connected to “It Ends with Us” in a creative capacity, Baldoni further brought her into the legal drama by referencing her in his $400 million extortion and defamation lawsuit against Lively.

In January 2025, after Lively accused him of sexual harassment and other claims in a California Civil Rights Department complaint, Baldoni alleged that Swift was indirectly used as leverage against him. According to his lawsuit, Baldoni was invited to Lively’s New York City penthouse to discuss script rewrites with Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and “a famous, and famously close, friend,” referring to Swift.

Following the meeting, Lively allegedly sent Baldoni a text, writing, “If you ever get around to watching ‘Game of Thrones,’ you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons.”

She then reportedly referred to Swift and Reynolds, saying, “For better or worse, but usually for better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really, we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you.”

Baldoni’s lawyers argued that the text message sent a clear message of intimidation, claiming that “Baldoni was not just dealing with Lively. He was also facing Lively’s ‘dragons,’ two of the most influential and wealthy celebrities in the world, who were not afraid to make things very difficult for him.”

Following Baldoni’s lawsuit, sources close to Swift spoke out, claiming that the Grammy winner felt “used” by Lively and was unhappy with the “dragons” reference.

A well-connected insider told TMZ that Swift “had no idea” the penthouse meeting involved Baldoni when she was invited over that day.

“She doesn’t appreciate being referred to as one of Blake’s dragons,” another source claimed, suggesting that Swift wants to remain completely uninvolved in the ongoing feud.

Franklin Templeton Launches EZPZ ETF for Weighted Bitcoin, Ethereum Exposure – Decrypt

What do you get when you combine EZBC and EZET? According to the launch of Franklin Templeton’s Crypto Index ETF, the result is EZPZ.

Representing the ticker name of Franklin Templeton’s newest crypto product listed on the Cboe BZX exchange on Thursday, EZPZ offers investors both Bitcoin and Ethereum exposure.

The product tracks price movements for the two top cryptocurrencies based on CF Benchmark’s Institutional Digital Asset Index, which debuted last year, and focuses on coins “recognized as being in conformance with major financial jurisdictions prevailing capital markets.”

That means that instead of targeting just one cryptocurrency, the index weights top coins by market capitalization. As a result, 82% of a dollar invested in EZPZ would be exposed to Bitcoin’s price, while 18% would be correlated to Ethereum’s performance.

EZPZ’s start follows Franklin Templeton’s introduction of spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs last year. The financial giant, alongside its push into the digital assets space, first launched FOBXX, a tokenized money-market fund, on Polygon and Stellar in 2021.

Roger Bayston, head of digital assets at Franklin Templeton, said in a press release that the fund’s 0.19% expense ratio will make it a cheap way for investors to tap a budding asset class.

“Blockchains are emerging as important utilities for the current and future information and data economies,” he said. “With EZPZ, we’re offering a simple, low-cost way to gain exposure to this growing and important asset class.”

Though Franklin Templeton ranks among the world’s largest asset managers, its Franklin Bitcoin ETF’s (EZBC) $708 million in assets under management (AUM) ranks just ninth among the 11 U.S.-based spot Bitcoin funds currently trading, according to CoinGlass data.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin ETF (IBIT), the dominant fund in the fledgling space, has $56.6 billion in AUM.

The Franklin Ethereum ETF (EZET), which started trading alongside eight competitors last July, has $34 million in AUM to rank seventh among that group.

Despite lesser adoption for Franklin Templeton’s crypto ETFs, the firm’s digital assets arm is still, perhaps, at the forefront of crypto culture.

Earlier this week, Franklin Templeton Digital Assets posted a photo on X (formerly known as Twitter) of Benjamin Franklin wearing a hat that closely resembles a uniform at McDonald’s, which Crypto Twitter often portrays as an inevitable job for down-on-their-luck traders when markets are volatile.

“Putting the fries in the bag,” the Wall Street bank said.

What Is Lorazepam In The White Lotus Season 3? Victoria Ratliff’s Pills Explained – SlashFilm

Mike White’s globe-trotting anthology series “The White Lotus” has been about rich people behaving badly since the first season dropped in 2021, and now that season 3 is underway, we know that we’re dealing with a whole new group of wealthy weirdos vacationing in Thailand this time around. (The first season took place in Hawaii, and the second was set in Sicily.) Included amongst the revelers visiting the fictional White Lotus in the beautiful Southeast Asian country is the Ratliff family, comprised of father and patriarch Timothy (Jason Isaacs), his wife Victoria (Parker Posey), and their children Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger), Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook), and Lochlan (Sam Nivola).

In the season 1 premiere “Same Spirits, New Forms,” Victoria spends most of the episode complaining about her jetlag and turning down the hotel’s various wellness opportunities (when Morgana O’Reilly’s hotel staffer Pam offers her a biometric scan to assess her needs, Victoria panics about not wanting to “take a test” and demurs). Later in the episode, she tells Timothy that she got a “second wind” but also tells him not to worry because she took a “lorazepam.” So what is lorazepam, why is Victoria taking it, and how could it come into play later in the season? Well, lorazepam is meant to aid with anxiety disorders … and it’s interesting that Victoria mentioned it so early in the third season’s very first episode.

Even if you’re familiar with the concept of lorazepam and other anti-anxiety drugs that are classified as benzodiazepines, let me refresh your memory a bit with an official definition from the Mayo Clinic. “Lorazepam is used to treat anxiety disorders,” the official site reads. “It is also used for short-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety or anxiety caused by depression.” The description also covers benzodiazepines, which “are central nervous system (CNS) depressants, which are medicines that slow down the nervous system.”

What this basically means is that Victoria has anxiety and uses lorazepam, ostensibly prescribed by her doctor, to manage it and keep her nervous system stable in moments when the anxiety gets to be too much. These types of drugs are pretty standard if they’re used according to your doctor’s instructions, and as I noted, they do need to be prescribed by a medical professional. Unfortunately, if not taken properly, people can also become dependent on them. If you’ve ever heard about someone popping’ “benzos,” they’re talking about abusing this form of drug. Okay, so now that we’ve got some of the medical jargon out of the way, why is this related to Victoria on “The White Lotus?”

Well, Victoria brought her lorazepam to Thailand to manage her anxiety … but because of the nature of this show, they feel a bit like Chekhov’s pills, so to speak. Within the first episode, we also learn that her husband Timothy has some shady business dealings that may cause trouble down the line, so specifically mentioning the medication she brought on their vacation certainly feels like Mike White wants us to notice that and keep it in mind; that lorazepam could be used in ill-advised ways before the season draws to a close.

“The White Lotus” airs new episodes every Sunday at 9 P.M. EST on HBO and Max.

Ne Zha 2, a new Chinese animated movie, has brought in $1.7 billion at the box office and dethroned Pixar’s Inside Out 2 to become the highest-grossing animated flick in history.

Released in January, Ne Zha 2 has been on a record-breaking run in China. Earlier this month the animated sequel became the first movie in history to cross $1 billon at the box office in a single market. The movie is currently only showing in mainland China and hasn’t been released internationally. It is also the first non-Hollywood movie to make more than $1 billion in ticket sales. And now it can add “Top-Grossing Animated Movie” to its growing list of records.

As reported by Deadline on February 20, Ne Zha 2 has now made ¥12.47 billion ($1.72 billion USD) at the box office in China since hitting theaters on January 29. That not only beats previous animated box-office champ Inside Out 2, but it also places Ne Zha 2 at number eight on the list of overall highest-grossing movies in history, above blockbuster hits like Top Gun: Maverick, Jurassic World, and The Avengers. The animated blockbuster, a sequel to 2019’s Ne Zha, is now projected to gross $2.08 billion in China. That would put it at number five on the highest grossers list, beating out Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Avengers: Infinity War.

If Ne Zha 2—an animated movie based on the 16th-century Chinese novel Investiture of the Gods—can reach $2 billion, it will make history as the first movie to ever do so in a single market. It would also be one of only seven films to achieve $2 billion at the box office.

Due to the film’s continued success, Ne Zha 2 will be sticking around in theaters for a bit longer. The movie has been given an extended run in China and will stay in theaters until March 30. It is set to release in Hong Kong later this week.

Now Activision is Teasing a Tony Hawk Pro Skater Announcement, Too

Following several rumours, Activision itself appears to be teasing some form of Tony Hawk Pro Skater announcement with the hints indicating it’ll be Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4.

The tease is actually hidden in a returning Call of Duty multiplayer map named Grind which has been added into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. In the map there’s a skateboard shop with a TV screen displaying the date “03.04.25”.

Looks like a teaser for something related to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater has been found in Black Ops 6’s Grind MP map!

But that’s not all because eagle-eyed fans have speculated that the silhouette of a skater above the date is a combination of the same ones found on Tony Hawk pro Skater 3 and Tony Hawk pro Skater 4. In other words, it’s a strong hint that the announcement will be a remaster like Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 from 2020 which combined the first two games into one excellent package.

And don’t forget to take notice of the date as well: 03/04 seems like a very direct nod to it being Pro Skater 3+4.

If you want a little more evidence, Microsoft themselves replied to CharlieIntel, an X user who posted a picture of the TV screen in Grind. They replied to his tweet with a simple eyes emoji, lending credence to the whole thing.

Tony Hawk himself also replied to the tweet with the same set of eyes. Don’t forget, the Hawkman also hinted at a new Tony Hawk game being in the works.

Of course, this official tease comes hot on the heels of a bunch of rumours about a new Tony Hawk game. A pro skater let slip earlier this week that he’s in a new Tony Hawk remaster that’s coming out soon. Considering the skater in question was added into Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2, his claims are very believable.

And shortly after that, a fairly reliable leaker confirmed that he had heard Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is in the works and will be shadow dropped at an Xbox event in June. That’s not all, because he also claims that it’ll be available on PS5, PC and the upcoming Switch 2 as well.

2222 Abyss of the Universe Switch Review

2222 Abyss of the Universe is a two dollar game sold for ten. That automatically disqualifies it from purchase in my view. Right now, as this writing, it is on sale for eight, still too high for what you get. Well what is it? You’re in a rectangle flying along a track, you go through rings. In Endless Mode, the rings give you fuel to keep going. In levels, they’re simply points. There is one button, either A or B or d-pad up. It makes you go up, stop pressing to go down.

These games are everywhere on mobile and very cheap or free. However, what 2222 Abyss of the Universe has going for it are the bells and whistles. You have a 3d mode or 2d mode. You also have a leader board for endless, which currently has seven people on it. There is a soundtrack and a host of sound effects you can individually turn on or off. Finally you buy new ships with your coins you get flying through rings.

As I said at the start, 2222 Abyss of the Universe is way, way overpriced. Yes you get a fair bit in this package, but its not worth it in my opinion. To back this up, look to the leader board. I’m betting the price is why the game has seven people on a leader board on release day. Nobody cares, nor should they. I’m going to sock it hard, giving it a Not Recommended with a five back-end score. I don’t think this was a scam, I legitimately think the developers think this game is worth its price. Unless it drops to two,maybe three dollars, stay away.

Overall: 2222 Abyss of the Universe is a one button game sold for ten dollars. Sure its fancy, but simply not worth it in the end.

Verdict: Not Recommended.

Mrs Hinch shares first pictures as she gives birth to baby boy and pays tribute to her late dad with his name

Sophie Hinchliffe, also known as Mrs Hinch, as give birth to a gorgeous baby boy.

The Instagram influencer shared the joyous news on social media, where she updated fans with an adorable photo.

The 34-year-old ‘cleanfluencer’ has been updating her 4.8m followers over her pregnancy journey for several months, and now they’ve seen the bundle of joy!

As fans expected, Sophie paid tribute to her late dad with the tot’s name.

Mrs Hinch gives birth to baby number three

Earlier tonight (February 20) Sophie shared three pictures of her new arrival. She captioned the post: “Welcome to the world. Vinnie Alan Barker Hinchliffe. Born 18th February at 12:21pm , 6lb7oz.”

She added: “Our beautiful little heart healer entered the world In the month we needed him most, February. February is my Dad’s birthday month. My birthday month … And now, it’s our Vinnie’s.”

Sophie then said: “The signs, the comfort ,the joy, you really are just everything we have needed and more Vinnie. Now it’s time to meet your beautiful big brothers, and start the next chapter in our Hinch story.”

Paying tribute to her husband, she said: “@mrhinchhome I love you beyond words.”

She then shared: “ILYD , I feel you. Barker always.” Barker was her maiden name – her late dad’s surname. Alan was his first name. ILYD stands for I love you, Dad.

Mrs Hinch’s baby announcement

The now mum-of-three told the world she was expecting in October 2024, only six months after her dad tragically passed away.

In a short clip, fans saw her husband Jamie painting words on a wall inside their house which read “Baby Boy #3”, with their boys, Ronnie, five, and Lennie, three, adding their hand prints as well.

The video then slowly changed from a black-and-white filter into colour, revealing the blue paint on the wall.

We then saw Sophie cradling her bump in a black catsuit.

Heaven was too far to visit, so you sent us a special gift from up above.

Sophie’s dad passed away before meeting her baby boy

The happy news came just six months after her father died, and Sophie paid tribute to dad Alan in the caption of the announcement.

She wrote at the time: “Heaven was too far to visit, so you sent us a special gift from up above. I have no doubt you sent him to us Dad, to fill our hearts with so much love.

“Ronnie and Lennie’s baby brother. Our baby boy no. 3. Joining us in 2025. The three musketeers.”

Alan sadly died on April 25, 2024, but Sophie waited a couple of weeks to break the news on social media, until she was ready.

Although the family have not revealed his cause of death, the cleaning guru did explain that he had stints in hospital previously. In April 2023, she took a social media break when he was receiving medical attention.

She wrote: “My dad is in hospital at the moment guys. My dad has never been blessed shall we say with fantastic health – from his chest, his lungs, his heart.

“He’s always struggled you know.”

Dad approved of her chosen names

In a Q&A session with her Instagram followers in November, Mrs Hinch explained her father already approved of her chosen baby names.

She has had a name picked out and ready several months before his arrival. However, it has a special significance because Alan helped her pick out the right ones.

In one question which asked if she had any name ideas, she said: “Yes we have his name set. I have the text message conversations on my phone with my dad where we were randomly talking about baby names that went with Ronnie and Lennie.

“I was nowhere near ready to have another baby at that point but I told Dad the boy’s name and girl’s name that me and Jamie loved and he replied saying ‘perfect Bubber’. So I’ve got those messages forever, Dad loved the name, so no matter what happens baby’s name is 100% set and nothing will change it.”

Preparing for the arrival

Weeks before the infant was here, Mrs Hinch told fans she was a “bit nervous”. But, despite the nerves, she told fans she couldn’t wait for the baby to ‘finally be here’.

After the New Year she began decorating the nursery, including purchasing the wallpaper, as well as painting and panelling the room. But she confessed she was behind schedule.

Sophie said: “I don’t know if it’s just me, but it seems that with my third, I seem to be getting less and less things – I seem to need less and don’t worry as much.”

“I want to make it into baby boy’s toy box or blanket box and keep it in the nursery,” she added. Sophie had started the project of upcycling the small wooden chest with her dad before he passed away.

“So that’s a project to do. Apart from that, guys, I’m sorry, I’m no further along.

“I’ll be all right, though, we’ll get there!”

EastEnders live: Martin Fowler dead as fans cry out over ‘massive mistake’

EastEnders went live for its 40th anniversary celebrations tonight and killed off legacy character Martin Fowler.

In heartbreaking scenes, Stacey Slater screamed in agony next to his lifeless body after he went into cardiac arrest when the beam was lifted off his legs.

In what was a flawless episode, fans are not happy with the outcome.

Martin Fowler dies in EastEnders Live

At the end of Wednesday night’s episode (February 19) Martin Fowler was left in a perilous position as he lay trapped under a fallen beam following the explosion in The Queen Vic.

As the action began, Stacey was trying to save Martin, but she couldn’t move the beam. He then fell unconscious after telling her loved her.

The paramedics came in and Martin was suddenly awake after being given some painkillers. Thankfully.

Stacey and Martin then had a heart to heart and confessed their love for each other again. He told Stacey he doesn’t love Ruby, he loves her. They said they never want to be apart again – which was foreboding given Lacey Turner is soon off on maternity leave.

Martin then proposed. But Stacey wasn’t massively keen on getting married again. However, she did eventually accept.

In the cafe, Ruby was sitting waiting for news, desperate to find out how Martin was. She wasn’t going to be very happy when the news landed on her, that’s for sure.

Back in The Vic, Martin and Stacey were planning their future. But Stacey soon noticed the paramedics looking concerned. It was not looking good for Martin. He was at risk of ‘crushed syndrome’ – once the beam is lifted off, Martin may not survive.

Stacey was advised to say her goodbyes, but she didn’t tell Martin the news. He decided to give his wedding speech to her anyway so she could hear it. They shared a kiss and the beam was then lifted off him.

He smiled one last time at Stacey and then went into cardiac arrest. The paramedics battled to save him. But it was no good. Stacey’s screams could be heard across the Square as she lay craddling her love.

Those watching at home were devastated by the death. “Feel like crying Martin shouldn’t have died should’ve been Ruby,” said one.

Love triangle resolved as Denise made her choice

Also tonight the result of the love triangle vote was revealed as Denise made her choice between Ravi and Jack.

Linda advised Denise to live her life and go for who she wanted and Denise declared she had made the decision.

Across the Square she went to see Jack! Jack poured them some wine and Denise told him she felt safe with him and that’s what she wants to feel. He was worried she’d want the danger, but Denise was adamant her future was with Jack.

They eventually kissed and made up, agreeing to start again.

Sonia gave birth in live EastEnders

Elsewhere, still trapped in The Vic, Sonia was in labour. Lauren and Bianca were left to deliver the baby. Sonia was not happy and had decided she didn’t want to be a mum again. Not the best time to decide that.

But she did manage to give birth. However the baby was not crying. Bianca begged for lifeless Sonia’s help to save the baby. She managed to get her little girl crying again.

Fans also got to vote for the name of Sonia’s baby – calling her Julia after one of the show’s creators, Julia Smith.

Sonia talked to her baby in a special speech about living in Walford and being surrounded by family.

Side note: live Bianca was the best thing in this!
