On Saturday, billionaire mogul Jeff Bezos and his soon-to-be wife, Lauren Sanchez, were spotted at Milan’s Dolce & Gabbana, one of the city’s most renowned clothing outlets.

While it’s unclear what exactly the pair were doing at D&G, it’s speculated that they were finalizing Sanchez’s dress for their upcoming wedding, according to TMZ.

The duo spent several hours inside the store and appeared to do some shopping, as several people were later seen carrying out multiple clothing bags for them.

They were both dressed semi-casually for the outing, with Bezos sporting an all-black outfit that included a jacket and a round-neck shirt, while Sanchez donned a similar ensemble paired with a gray coat.

Adding to their look, Bezos and Sanchez both wore stylish sunglasses, with the media personality opting for slightly larger frames than the tech mogul.

The couple also attracted plenty of attention as they left the store and made their way to their waiting ride.

According to the Daily Mail, Bezos and Sanchez intend to tie the knot in Venice in what has since been described as a “highly exclusive” and “tightly-coordinated celebration.”

While the exact location still remains unclear, sources have revealed why the couple chose Venice for the massive event.

“Choosing Venice is more than a romantic gesture —it’s a nod to the couple’s shared history with the city, which they’ve frequently visited during their relationship… the wedding is poised to be a defining social event of 2025, not only for the couple but for Venice itself,” read a local report.

Reports have revealed that two of the most exclusive hotels in Venice, the legendary Gritti Palace and the seven-star Aman Venice, have been booked out from June 26-29, with the dates now widely believed to mark the wedding festivities.

Additionally, these reports have claimed that the “entire fleet of water taxis will be made available to shuttle guests across the canals.”

Already, the wedding is set to be one of the biggest events of the century, which isn’t surprising given that sources have rumored that Bezos’ $500 million yacht, Koru, will be “involved” in the celebration.

It was where Bezos proposed to Sánchez, and many thought it would be fitting to host the wedding there, given that it is the largest masted yacht ever built.

The water edifice is 127 meters long and reportedly costs Bezos $30 million annually for maintenance.

According to reports, it is likely that the yacht will be used to take guests on excursions during the festivities and may serve as the starting point for the couple’s honeymoon.

The vessel will also be anchored in the Arsenale area of the city due to regulatory requirements.

“People are calling everyone they know. Old friends, ex-flames, assistants of assistants – just trying to figure out who got an invite. And more importantly, who didn’t,” said a source.

The Daily Mail reported that fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg and her husband, billionaire media mogul Barry Diller, are among the few believed to have secured an invite.

The news outlet also claimed that prominent figures like former President Donald Trump, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Gates, and Oprah Winfrey are rumored to be on the guest list due to their close ties with the groom.

Account Abstraction and user-friendly SDKs are addressing onboarding challenges that have historically limited adoption

Web3 Gaming: A Market on the Verge of Explosive Growth

The numbers behind Web3 gaming tell a compelling story about its potential. With $988M secured in investments in April 2024 alone according to Zeeve, capital is flooding into this space at an unprecedented rate. Looking ahead, the global blockchain gaming market is projected to reach an astonishing $1,172.8B by 2033, growing at a 62.59% CAGR as reported by IMARC.

This isn’t just future potential – current activity shows the momentum is already building. Daily active on-chain gaming addresses now exceed 6 million with $100M in daily transaction volumes. These figures highlight a critical difference between Web3 and traditional gaming models.

Traditional gaming has always been limited by centralized control. This creates several pain points:

Server downtime that interrupts gameplay experiences

Manual asset management processes that create friction

Limited player ownership of in-game items and progress

    Centralized decision-making about game economics

Automation in Web3 gaming addresses these limitations by distributing control and streamlining processes that previously required manual oversight. This shift is essential for handling the scale needed to support millions of concurrent players interacting with on-chain assets.

Smart Contracts: The Automation Backbone of Web3 Gaming

At the heart of Web3 gaming automation are smart contracts – self-executing code that runs exactly as programmed without downtime or interference. These digital agreements handle complex game mechanics automatically, eliminating the need for constant human monitoring.

Smart contracts enable several key automated functions across Web3 games:

Instant reward distribution when players complete achievements

On-demand NFT minting when items are earned or created

Frictionless peer-to-peer asset trading without intermediaries

Verifiable random number generation for fair gameplay mechanics

Platforms like Gelato Network have become central to this ecosystem by supporting automation across more than 30 networks including Polygon and Solana. This cross-chain compatibility is crucial for games that want to tap into different blockchain advantages.

Axie Infinity demonstrates smart contract automation in action. Its breeding mechanics and marketplace transactions run entirely through smart contracts, creating a 24/7 operational system that doesn’t require manual oversight. This automation reduces fraud potential while ensuring players can interact with the game economy at any time.

    AI-Powered Gaming Experiences

Artificial intelligence is transforming Web3 gaming from static experiences to dynamic, responsive worlds. According to Cointelegraph, games like Parallel Colony are pioneering AI-driven NPCs that adapt to player behavior, creating unique interactions for each player.

Content creation is also being revolutionized through automation. Procedural generation tools like QORPO WORLD are reducing development time by 40%, allowing smaller teams to create expansive gaming universes. This acceleration is critical for Web3 game studios that need to compete with traditional gaming’s production values.

The integration of AI into gaming is accelerating rapidly. NVIDIA predicts 85% of game studios will integrate AI tools by 2025, signaling a shift toward automated development processes across the industry. This convergence of AI and blockchain is giving rise to new economic models, with “AI-to-Earn” systems replacing the first generation of static Play-to-Earn mechanics.

    These AI systems can:

Generate personalized quests based on player history

Adjust difficulty dynamically to maintain engagement

Create unique in-game items tailored to player preferences

Balance game economies through automated adjustments

    Decentralized Infrastructure: Automating the Complex

Building a Web3 game involves complex technical challenges that automation helps solve. Gelato’s Web3 Functions enable automated reactions to both on-chain and off-chain events, creating responsive gameplay experiences without constant developer intervention.

Wallet integration and NFT management – traditionally complicated aspects of Web3 development – are being simplified through tools like Venly’s APIs, which work across more than 12 blockchains. This cross-chain compatibility is essential for games that want to reach players regardless of their preferred blockchain.

Scaling solutions have also made significant progress through automation. Layer-2 networks like ImmutableX and Starknet have reduced gas fees by 90%, making microtransactions viable for gaming economies. These solutions automatically handle the complex processes of batching transactions and optimizing for cost efficiency.

Another friction point being solved through automation is cross-chain interoperability. Players no longer need to manually bridge assets between different blockchains, as automated systems handle these transfers seamlessly in the background.

The Economics of Automation in Gaming

Play-to-Earn models represent one of the most significant economic innovations in gaming, with Zeeve projecting they’ll generate $65.7B in player earnings by 2027. Automation is central to making these economics work at scale.

DAO governance is automating decision-making around game updates and economic adjustments. Games like Illuvium and Sandbox use automated voting systems to let players determine the direction of development, creating truly community-owned games.

DeFi integration through automated liquidity pools is changing how in-game economies function. Platforms like Uniswap v3 and Serum DEX enable seamless token swaps, allowing players to trade in-game assets without leaving the gaming experience.

Automated tokenomics are also creating more sustainable in-game economies with reduced manipulation risk. These systems can:

Adjust token emission rates based on player activity

Implement automated burning mechanisms to control inflation

Create token sinks that maintain long-term economic health

Balance reward distributions to prevent exploitation

    Overcoming Web3 Gaming’s Biggest Challenges

Despite its potential, Web3 gaming faces significant hurdles that automation is helping to address. The Blockchain Trilemma – balancing speed, security, and decentralization – remains a fundamental challenge, as noted by LeewayHertz. Automated layer-2 solutions are making progress on this front by handling complex scaling optimizations.

User onboarding represents another major barrier. According to a 2024 Venly Survey, 70% of players cite wallet setup complexity as a significant adoption hurdle. This is where automation is making some of its most important contributions.

Several automated solutions are addressing these challenges:

Frictionless SDKs like Vottun’s Unity integration reduce implementation time by 50%

Account Abstraction features on networks like Starknet automatically handle gas fees

Social login options eliminate the need for seed phrase management

Embedded wallets create seamless onboarding experiences

These automation tools are crucial for bringing Web3 gaming to mainstream audiences who may not be familiar with blockchain technology or cryptocurrency management.

The Automated Future of Web3 Gaming

Looking ahead, the trajectory of Web3 gaming points toward increased automation and AI integration. DappRadar predicts the space will reach 7 million daily active wallets by 2025, approaching the activity levels seen in DeFi. This scale will only be possible with robust automation systems handling the underlying complexity.

AI is driving new gaming models that go beyond traditional Play-to-Earn mechanics. QORPO’s “AI-to-Earn” approach represents a new paradigm where player interactions with AI systems create value in ways that weren’t previously possible.

Several emerging platforms are leading automation innovation in Web3 gaming:

Gunzilla Games’ Off The Grid uses AI for dynamic storytelling

Nifty Island leverages automation for player-created content

Mythical Games combines centralized and decentralized elements through automated systems

The convergence of AI, automation, and blockchain is creating entirely new gaming paradigms that weren’t technically feasible before. These systems will continue to reduce friction while enabling more complex and engaging player experiences.

When Worlds Converge: Traditional Gaming Meets Web3 Automation

The relationship between traditional gaming and Web3 is evolving rapidly. Traditional game development cycles typically involve lengthy manual processes for testing, deployment, and updates. Automated Web3 processes are challenging this model by enabling faster iteration and community-driven development.

Major publishers are taking notice. Ubisoft and Square Enix have begun exploring Web3 automation for asset management and player rewards. Rather than complete replacement, many are adopting hybrid models that combine centralized game servers with decentralized asset ownership.

Automation plays a crucial role in bridging these worlds by:

Simplifying blockchain integration into existing game engines

Creating familiar user experiences while maintaining Web3 benefits

Enabling seamless transitions between centralized and decentralized elements

Supporting gradual adoption paths for traditional gaming audiences

This convergence represents the most likely path to mainstream adoption, with automation handling the complexity needed to create smooth player experiences regardless of the underlying technology.

Paddy McGuinness on health diagnosis that left him stunned: ‘It isn’t an old person’s condition any more’

Paddy McGuinness – who hosts Tempting Fortune tonight (Sunday, March 30) – once revealed he’d been diagnosed with a surprising health condition pretty early on in life.

The star, now 51, made the revelation back in 2018 during an endurance challenge for Children in Need.

Paddy McGuinness on surprise health condition

Back in 2018, Paddy took part in the Ultra Endurance Cycle Challenge. In the challenge, the comedian had to cycle 300 miles – from Wrexham AFC stadium in North Wales to Glasgow.

During the challenge, he revealed that he had been diagnosed with arthritis – and had to have an ultrasound steroid injection to help manage it.

Arthritis is a condition that causes joint pain and inflammation. It tends to be seen in older people – however, it can manifest in people anytime between the ages of 30 and 50.

      Paddy’s reaction to arthritis diagnosis

In a picture posted to his Instagram at the time, Paddy showed off a huge plaster on his shoulder.

“Morning! Nursing a poorly shoulder today,” he said. “I had an ultrasound steroid injection in it yesterday,” he then added.

“The reason, arthritis? I’m 44!” he then exclaimed.

Plenty of Paddy’s followers were quick to show their support and sympathy.

One said: “I’m 27 with arthritis. I’ve had steroid injections in my spine. Hurts like a bugger ! Arthritis isn’t an ‘old’ condition anymore ! Hope it works for you!” Another added: “I feel your pain mate, been having arthritis problems all over my body since 33!”

      ‘They are not alone’

Arthritis Research UK also thanked Paddy for drawing attention to the condition.

“We’re grateful to Paddy McGuinness for speaking out and showing other young people with arthritis that they are not alone,” they said.

“People often think of arthritis as an older person’s disease. But Paddy is one of 11.8 million people under the age of 65 living with a musculoskeletal condition, including 2.7 million under 35 years old,” they then added.

How to Complete the Shipwrecked Shogun Challenge in BitLife – ISK Mogul Adventures

      0
How to Complete the Shipwrecked Shogun Challenge in BitLife – ISK Mogul Adventures

It’s that time of the week again, Bitizens! The Bittersweet Symphony Challenge in BitLife is live, and you know what that means. This time around, the challenge has been named Shipwrecked Shogun. And the reason for that name will become clear very shortly. Keep reading to learn how to finish this particular challenge.

Don’t forget to check the Challenge Vault if you have it unlocked, you can do all the old BitLife challenges there as well. Check on some of our BitLife guides while you’re here for tips on those.

How to Complete the Shipwrecked Shogun Challenge in BitLife

Be born in the UK.Move to Japan.Become a general in the Japanese army.Own a pirate ship.Survive a shipwreck.

      OK, let’s get going!

Being born in the UK is easy; just choose London or any other UK city as your starting locale. Just focus on aging up until you reach age 18 and can earn a bit of cash, you’ll need it for later.

Moving to Japan is a bit of an annoying step, as it both requires a bit of cash and approval. Once your character turns 18, go to ‘Activities’ and select Emigrate. After the application is paid and processed, you’re ready to move.

You will want to have a clean criminal record before you apply as well. Once you apply and join up, it’s time to put in A LOT of work. The job to earn the cash to complete the next few steps is pretty important.

How to Become a General in the Japanese Army

After moving to Japan, you’ll need to join up with the armed forces. This involves going into the Occupation tab and then clicking on Military. You can then choose the branch you want to join up to. Now comes the real work. You will need to grind away at this job for a few years to earn the promotions. Also, make sure to keep those Health and Smarts stats maxed out to maximize your chances of a promotion. After a few more years of work, you can get your way to General in the Japanese Army.

How to Own a Pirate Ship in BitLife

Once you’ve made it this far, it’s time to set sail! Players in BitLife will need a fair amount of cash to afford a pirate ship, so make sure to put in plenty of time in at your job.

Go into the Go Shopping tab under Assets and you can find all the options. Pirate ships can be found under the boat sales options. If it’s not there, just age up and check again. Once you have one, this is where RNG can kind of screw you over.

How to Survive a Shipwreck in BitLife

This is the part in the Shipwrecked Shogun Challenge in BitLife where you need both a bunch of money and good RNG.

When you finally have enough cash ground out to get your hands on the boat, it’s time to go shopping. Get at least about $25,000 in the bank and you’re good to go. Once you turn 18 you need to get your boating license. Once that’s done, it’s time to go shopping for a boat. Head to the Shopping section and visit the Speciality Vehicle Dealers. Select a boat dealer and browse their catalog. Once you have found your dream boat or ship, purchase it. From there, it’s time for the RNG to strike like lightning.

The shipwreck itself is a random event. The fastest way to get into a shipwreck after you’ve done everything else is to get on your boat and take it out for a spin. Repeat this until you have an accident. The outcome of this event is dependent on RNG, and yes, you can get unlucky and not survive. If you manage to die, use the paid rewind feature or start over, those are your only choices.

The products below are affiliate links, we get a commission for any purchases made. If you want to help support ISKMogul at no additional cost, we really appreciate it.

        Inside Ten Pound Poms and Adolescence star Faye Marsay’s rise to fame – ‘one true love’; social media ‘backlash’; Jill Scott ‘rivalry’;

Ten Pound Poms star Faye Marsay’s career has been going from strength to strength recently, having appeared in a string of huge shows, including Netflix smash Adolescence.

From getting backlash over a major role to her ‘rivalry’ with Jill Scott, here’s an inside look at the Middlesbrough-born star’s life and career.

Faye is a regular fixture on our screens (Credit: ITV)

        Faye Marsay’s rise to fame

Born in Middlesbrough in December 1986, Faye – now 38 – comes from a “typical working class Northern family”. Her mum works as a secretary for the NHS, and her dad is a steelworker and a firefighter.

She landed her first major role in 2008, when she appeared in the movie Helen.

A role in the historical comedy movie Pride followed, as did starring roles in The White Queen on BBC One, Fresh Meat and My Mad Fat Diary.

In 2014, Faye appeared in the Doctor Who Christmas special alongside Peter Capaldi. However, it was her role in Game of Thrones that catapulted her onto the international stage.

The star played the role of The Waif during seasons 5 and 6. Her role in the series was to train Arya Stark during her time in the House of Black and White.

Not only did The Waif torture Arya, but she also tried to kill her.

‘Backlash’ over Game of Thrones role

Speaking to The Independent in 2023, Faye explained that she’d received a bit of backlash for the role in Game of Thrones.

“After Thrones came out, there was quite intense backlash at one point,” she said.

“Just because of the character I played. [The fans] hated her. Because Maisie [Williams]’ character was, like, the one – and there I am, hitting her with a stick,” she then continued.

Unfortunately, some fans couldn’t tell the difference between fact and fiction, leading to the backlash intensifying. Faye was forced to remove herself from social media for a while until it all died down.

Her digital footprint is still tiny for someone of her star status, though, and that’s a conscious decision. She told the paper: “The thing is, you’ve got to keep something for yourself. This relentless throwing out of who you are. You leave yourself with nothing for you, or your family, or people that look you in your eyeballs instead of through a screen. Those are the people that deserve energy, and they don’t get it if all you’re doing is giving yourself away on the internet every day.”

Faye is also very private about her personal life. As a result, it’s not known if she’s married or even in a relationship.

        ‘Challenging’ move

Hailing from the north, Faye was forced to move to London for work – an experience she confessed to finding “challenging”.

Speaking to The Protagonist Magazine, she said: “I found it difficult for the first year I was here, to be honest. The pace and the sheer volume of people took some getting used to. It is an amazing city, though, and I love how there is always something to do or see here,” she then added.

I love it and miss it all the time.

She also spoke fondly of her hometown in the interview.

“It’s where my family is and my oldest friends. The people there are hard-working, lovely and good humoured. The area has had a lot to deal with recently, and yet it still powers on. I love it and miss it all the time,” she confessed.

        Jill Scott speaking

        ‘Rivalry’ with Jill Scott

Back before her acting days, Faye was a keen footballer and even played for her local team in Middlesbrough.

It was here that she faced off against future Lioness legend (and I’m A Celebrity winner), Jill Scott. England hero Jill is from nearby Sunderland, and is the same age as Faye.

Speaking to Principle Magazine recently, Faye spoke about the “amazing” experience of playing against Jill.

“I loved football. When I was really young, I played for a local team in Middlesbrough, and they were a great bunch of girls. Sometimes, I played against Jill Scott, which is amazing. She played for a team called Boldon, and we faced each other as kids,” she said.

“She probably doesn’t remember me now, but I distinctly remember this tall, brilliant girl. Their team was excellent. Football was massive in my family — it’s like a religion back home.”

Faye previously said that football was her “one true love” until the age of 16, when, sadly, a knee injury put paid to her footballing career.

Ten Pound Poms star Faye Marsay on ‘imposter syndrome’

Following on from her Game of Thrones role, Faye has continued to star in movies and TV shows. In 2016, she appeared in Vera, and starred in the Black Mirror episode Hated by the Nation.

2017 saw her star in Gary Oldman’s The Darkest Hour and alongside David Tennant in You, Me and Him. In 2022, Faye entered the Star Wars universe, portraying Vel Sartha in the hit Disney+ show Andor. She is expected to return in the role in series two later this year.

Given the high-profile roles she’s landed, Faye admitted to Principle that she does get “imposter syndrome from time to time”. However, she added that she knows she’s “very lucky” and doesn’t taken anything for granted.

In 2023, she made her debut in Ten Pound Poms as Annie, a role she has returned to for series two, which is currently airing on BBC One.

She recently expressed interest in doing another series. “If people want to see more then of course, I would be open to doing it. But we don’t know yet,” she told The Sun.

Faye on working with Stephen Graham in Adolescence

She was most recently in Netflix’s mega-hit Adolescence, playing the role of DS Misha Frank, featuring heavily in the first two episodes.

Gushing over the show recently to Principle Magazine, she said: “What struck me most when I read the script was how current it was, how necessary the conversation is, and how important it is to explore these issues through art – whether that’s TV or film – to facilitate discussion.”

She was also full of praise for its co-creator Stephen Graham: “Stephen creates an environment where everyone feels valued, no matter their role. It’s like a football team – he’s the Pep Guardiola, and we’re all working toward winning a championship. He genuinely wants everyone to be at their best and fights for every single person on set. It’s a really safe and supportive environment to be in.

“He genuinely cares – not just about the work, but about the people involved in making it. I don’t want to sound gushy, but he’s a really lovely man who cares about his job and about everybody else.”

This Week in Crypto Games: ‘Off the Grid’ Token, GameStop Goes Bitcoin, SEC Clears Immutable – Decrypt

The crypto and NFT gaming space is busier than ever lately, what with prominent games starting to release, token airdrops piling up, and a seemingly constant array of other things happening at all times. It’s a lot to take in!

Luckily, Decrypt’s GG is all over it. And if you need a quick way to get caught up on the latest moves around crypto video games, we’re happy to present This Week in Crypto Games.

Our weekend roundup serves up the biggest news from the past week, along with a few other tidbits you might have missed. We also showcase a few of our original stories from the week.

        Biggest news

SEC drops Immutable investigation: The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has closed its investigation into Ethereum gaming platform Immutable with no enforcement action, the company announced Tuesday via a blog post.

Back in October 2024, the Commission issued Immutable a Wells Notice over alleged securities law violations relating to sales of the platform’s IMX token. The SEC had also questioned representations about the token’s backing, particularly regarding a pre-launch investment from Huobi Ventures.

With this investigation now over, Immutable CEO Robbie Ferguson said that the investigation found “zero wrongdoings” and praised his team for continuing to build despite the ominous Wells Notice. The company itself also posted on X, stating that it a “huge win” for Web3 gaming and for “everyone who believes in digital ownership rights.”

The SEC has now dropped the vast majority of its cases and known investigations against crypto firms, following the inauguration of President Donald Trump.

Off the Grid mainnet: Popular shooter Off the Grid has been running on the GUNZ testnet, built as a dedicated Avalanche L1 chain. On Friday, it was confirmed that GUNZ would transition to its hotly anticipated mainnet on March 31, with the GUN token launching alongside.

This comes after Gunzilla Games Director of Web3 Theodore Agranat estimated a Q1 2025 launch back in December, adding that he wanted the game to be fully featured and polished by then. Since then, a black market for in-game skins has bloomed, showing clear signs that players are keen for the upcoming crypto integration, which will allow in-game items to be sold for crypto.

Forgotten Runiverse launches: Ronin role-playing game Forgotten Runiverse launched in early access on Wednesday, allowing users to master spells and earn rewards as they explore the open fantasy world based on the Ethereum NFT collection, Forgotten Runes Wizard’s Cult.

This comes after three years of development work and more than 1 million hours of testing, according to a post by Ronin Network, which became the game’s new home after it opted to migrate from Ethereum layer-2 network Arbitrum last year.

Now officially live after three playtest periods, the Forgotten Runiverse opens with its first major game content update, named Moonlit Wilds. With this update, players can now access land plots, build new structures, craft and mint items, as well as master up to 32 spells while embarking on quests.

GameStop goes Bitcoin: Video game store turned meme stock icon GameStop updated its investment policy on Tuesday to add “certain cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin” as “permissible investment instruments.” This was then followed by a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, claiming that it is now permitted to use Bitcoin as a “Treasury Reserve Asset.”

The next day, on Wednesday, GameStop announced that it plans to raise $1.3 billion via convertible senior notes in order to fund “general corporate purposes, including the acquisition of Bitcoin.”

This approach takes a leaf out of Strategy’s playbook, as that firm (formerly known as MicroStrategy) has issued billions of dollars worth of convertible senior notes to purchase more Bitcoin. GameStop’s move came just weeks after CEO Ryan Cohen posted a photo on X with Strategy co-founder and Executive Chairman Michael Saylor.

Solana game Star Atlas is collaborating with SingularityNET to integrate AI agents into its online world.
There’s a first-person shooter that apparently records every single bullet on-chain via Ethereum layer-2 MegaETH—which its creator admits is just a “silly experiment.”
Solana shooter Nyan Heroes is back with its latest playtest, including its biggest airdrop yet.

Gunzilla Games, the creator of Off the Grid, acquired and rebooted legendary magazine Game Informer after it was shut down last year.
Mobile strategy game Fableborne returned for a closed play test on Ronin.
Marblex’s Immutable-based mobile game Self-Made Billionaire is set to launch on April 7, and is ready for pre-order on the App Store now.

The makers of trading card game Parallel launched the title on Android in the Philippines on Tuesday, the first step in a delayed rollout for the mobile versions.
The makes of Tokyo Beast, an Immutable-based game, released a launch trailer.
Anime-inspired NFT collection Azuki opened pre-orders for starter decks for its upcoming trading card game.
Arbitrum game AI Arena started a competition with 500,000 NRN ($18,000) up for grabs.
Crypto MMORPG Treeverse went live and started its first season.
Kamigotchi, a crypto pet collection game, completed a funding round with 81 participants, adding that mainnet details are coming soon.
Immutable trading card game Gods Unchained launched its season two battle pass.

SEC Closes Investigation Into Crypto.com Without Action – Cryptoflies News

        0

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has concluded its investigation into cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com without pursuing any enforcement action, as announced by the company on March 27.

In October 2024, Crypto.com filed a lawsuit against the SEC after receiving a Wells Notice — a communication indicating that the agency was considering enforcement action.

The notice suggested that the SEC viewed certain tokens traded on Crypto.com’s platform as securities. In response, Crypto.com sued the SEC, arguing that the agency was overstepping its jurisdiction and improperly classifying most cryptocurrencies as securities. This lawsuit was withdrawn in December 2024.

Nick Lundgren, Chief Legal Officer of Crypto.com, commented on the decision: “We are pleased that the current SEC leadership has made the decision to close its investigation into Crypto.com with no enforcement action or settlement.”

Founded in 2016, Crypto.com serves over 140 million customers globally. The company emphasizes its commitment to regulatory compliance, security, and privacy within the cryptocurrency industry.

This development aligns with a broader trend of the SEC closing investigations into other cryptocurrency firms, including Kraken, Coinbase, and Ripple. The agency has also ceased inquiries into the non-fungible token (NFT) sector, affecting companies such as OpenSea and Yuga Labs, known for the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT collection.

How Are NFTs and Web3 Reshaping the Future of Sports Betting | NFT News Today

How Are NFTs and Web3 Reshaping the Future of Sports Betting | NFT News Today

The sports betting landscape is constantly evolving as new technologies are adopted. Non-fungible tokens and Web3 technologies are currently at the forefront of change. With the potential for new revenue streams and player engagement, NFTs are expected to make significant improvements in sports betting.

On the other hand, Web3 technologies are called the future of the internet, and since online sports betting is the most dominant factor, its effects will also be potent. Web3 technology has a massive potential for decentralization, and given the fact that crypto betting sites have already adopted blockchain technology, this looks like a match made in heaven.

NFTs and Web3 in Sports Betting Explained

Web3 sports betting works on decentralized applications guided by smart contracts. Smart contracts and dApps are built on blockchain with a focus on decentralization. Blockchain uses cryptocurrency for quick, secure, anonymous, and transparent transactions.

At its core, Web3 is utilized by top crypto betting sites to remove the need for centralizations or intermediaries related to payments. NFTs are unique digital collectibles and tokenized assets that enable easy trade, proof of ownership, and secure authentication.

NFT ownership is also enabled via blockchain, and these tokens can be admission tickets, digital memorabilia, and other assets that boost the overall experience and interactions.

Endless Utility and Interoperability of NFTs

Sports teams, leagues, and betting sites actively utilize Web3 to create new revenue and engagement channels. Blockchain and NFTs make seamless interactions between players, ecosystems, and platforms possible.

For example, a bettor can purchase an NFT from their favorite sports team and use it to unlock unique and lucrative betting opportunities. On the other hand, betting sites can reward loyal putners with exclusive content or assets in the form of NFTs.

This utility and interoperability offer endless possibilities to improve players’ experience and diversify revenue streams.

        Reinventing Fantasy Sports

Fantasy sports are a crucial part of the modern sports experience as players can connect with their favorite teams and sports on a different level. Blockchain and Web3 allow players to truly own unique in-game assets like currencies, player cards, memorabilia, etc.

Blockchain provides the required transparency for fantasy sports results and rules, creating a fair gaming experience. All transactions and game outcomes are recorded publicly, ensuring accountability.

Furthermore, players can earn NFTs and crypto for their achievements. These assets can be used in sports betting or exchanged for betting credits, creating an extensive sports betting ecosystem.

        More Convinence and Transparency

Traditional betting platforms often include high transaction costs and lack transparency. With blockchain technology, all of the bets and results are recorded in a public ledger. This reduces the risk of fraud and gives punters a higher sense of security.

At the same time, traditional payment methods require strict personal and financial information from players. With cryptocurrencies, players have a higher level of anonymity while being able to track all of their transactions

Decentralization also means lower transaction fees as there are no intermediaries involved. In other words, a higher percentage of winnings goes directly to the players. The new platforms also break down border barriers as countries from all over the world are opening up to crypto opportunities.

        A Look Into the Future

These new technologies offer endless potential, but there are still challenges. Regulatory issues and differences between countries and jurisdictions regarding laws and digital technologies create boundaries. Cryptocurrencies are volatile, and players must have a basic understanding of their trading potential and current use.

However, we can freely say that the marriage of Web3 and NFTs is just a start. We are just scratching the surface of the potential integrations of these technologies. As they continue to evolve, we can expect tectonic shifts in the betting industry.

Check Your 1 Million Nads NFT Airdrop on Monad

Recently, Monad officially distributed the “1 Million Nads” NFT to users who commented on one of the project’s previous posts on Twitter. This move has garnered significant attention from the community, especially amid increasing speculation about Monad’s upcoming airdrop strategy.

        NFT Distribution Details

A total of 627,641 “1 Million Nads” NFTs were minted and sent to community wallets. This may mark the initial step in setting eligibility criteria for future airdrops.

How to check if you received the NFT

Visit: https://testnet.monadexplorer.com/Please enter your wallet address into the search bar.Navigate to the “NFT” tab — if you see

        Via Magic Eden:

The NFT’s Role in Potential Airdrops

There’s speculation that holding the “1 Million Nads” NFT might be a key factor in qualifying for Monad’s future airdrops. This could be part of a strategy to filter out bots and reward genuine community engagement.

        Similar Past Campaigns:

Aptos previously launched a similar campaign where users who minted and held a commemorative NFT were later airdropped around 500 APT, worth over $1,500 at the time.

        Monad Testnet Is Still Ongoing

Users can still interact with Monad’s ecosystem by exploring and testing projects live on the testnet.

Learn More: Top 10 Monad Projects to Try for Airdrops

        However, keep in mind:

While there are rumors that testnet participation won’t guarantee an airdrop, some community members believe an airdrop is still highly likely.

Why a testnet airdrop makes sense:

As a new Layer 1 blockchain, Monad is focused on building a fair and transparent image.Testnet users are early supporters — a valuable group for community building.Distributing tokens to testnet participants also helps increase the initial number of holders, which is a key metric for any L1 project.

        Other Potential Airdrop Criteria

In addition to testnet participation and holding the “1 Million Nads” NFT, several other actions and assets may influence a user’s eligibility for future Monad airdrops. These include:

Community Role (Nads Role on Discord)

Active participation on Monad’s social channels can earn users the Nads role in the official Discord. This path is ideal for those skilled in content creation or community engagement. By contributing through posts, discussions, and sharing updates, users may be granted this role — which is believed to be a strong signal for airdrop eligibility.

Although the Monad community is growing rapidly, the number of OG roles distributed so far remains under 1,000. This presents a valuable opportunity for new contributors to take initiative. Notably, the OG role is currently being traded OTC for $2,000–$3,000, further signaling its perceived value.

        Difficulty: HighEstimated Airdrop Likelihood: 100%

        Stake-to-Airdrop

Given Monad’s association with the Jump ecosystem, staking relevant tokens like W or PYTH may increase a user’s chances of receiving an airdrop. Previously, Wormhole rewarded the top 10,000 $PYTH stakers with an airdrop — setting a potential precedent.

Current benchmarks for the top 10,000 stakers:

        $PYTH: ~$1,600$W: ~$1,400

OKX Review 2024: Trading Features, Fees, and SecurityOKX Review 2024: Trading Features, Fees, and Security

These entry points are accessible for many users, especially those already holding the tokens. However, Monad may apply stricter thresholds in the future — possibly targeting the top 5,000 or even 1,000 stakers.

Difficulty: Moderate to High (Capital-dependent)Estimated Airdrop Likelihood: 50–60%

        Hold-to-Airdrop

Holding specific NFT collections associated with Monad’s ecosystem could also be a key eligibility factor:

        MadLads

Highly likely to be included. Monad has invested in Backpack — which serves as its primary wallet — and MadLads is closely tied to the Backpack ecosystem.

Difficulty: High (High cost entry)Estimated Airdrop Likelihood: 90%

        Pythenians

Closely aligned with the Pyth Network, which itself has strong ties to Monad. Although the community isn’t currently deeply involved in Monad-related activities, its positioning within the Jump ecosystem still makes it a potential candidate.

        Difficulty: MediumEstimated Airdrop Likelihood: 60–70%

        Pudgy Penguins & Wassies

Both projects have founders who are angel investors in Monad. This indirect connection may increase the likelihood of inclusion.

Difficulty: Medium to HighEstimated Airdrop Likelihood: TBD (Speculative)

        Conclusion

The “1 Million Nads” NFT is not just a commemorative drop — it may be part of a broader, curated airdrop strategy by Monad. Monad encourages users to stay engaged with the ecosystem and monitor the evolving eligibility criteria.
