Celebrity Big Brother viewers in shock u-turn over Mickey Rourke following ’emotional’ scenes

Celebrity Big Brother viewers may have been calling to get Mickey Rourke out 24 hours ago, but it seems for a lot, their opinions have already changed.

On last night’s live launch (April 7) the Hollywood star had quite a controversial entrance. As he stepped onto the stage he immediately eyed up host AJ Odudu, and even pulled her close to him. Viewers were immediately “disgusted” by his behaviour and predicted he would walk within days.

But tonight’s show (April 8) showed Mickey more relaxed. And while he still clearly had no idea what was going on, viewers felt they were seeing another side to him.

Celebrity Big Brother viewers ‘surprised’ by Mickey Rourke

Tonight, Mickey was the first contestant to go into the Prize Room, where he had to choose what to spend some of the winnings on. He chose to purchase a blender for Danny, and a takeaway for Chris (He thought he was getting him a scooter).

Then he got brought into the secret part of the room where he got to pick between three huge prizes. There was immunity, killer nomination or an angel immunity prize. And he selected the angel prize to give someone else immunity.

This immediately shocked viewers, but it was his conversation with Trisha Goddard that had viewers “emotional”.

Trisha opened up to Mickey about living with stage four cancer, and Mickey assured her he would keep her in his prayers.

Fans took to social media to express their shock at the sudden change in behaviour, with some adamant that he could be the one “to make” the show.

Viewers in shock U-turn over Mickey Rourke

Taking to X, one viewer wrote: “That conversation between Mickey and Trisha made me feel a little emotional.”

Another added: “Mickey may actually be a stand up champ. Judged him too harshly.”

“Mickey Rourke. You either love him or hate him. I have done both in the space of 24 hours. Tonight, he is entertaining.”

A surprised viewer penned: “I hope I’m wrong but Rourke may be the one to make this season entertaining.”

Despite the change in opinions, some viewers are still wary over him after the launch episode.

One wrote: “I want to like him, but the way he acted with AJ made me so uncomfortable. I hope he proves us all wrong and lasts.”

The opinions u-turn is proof that just about anything could happen on a reality TV show.

The Classic Horror Movie Inspired By Disney’s Snow White – SlashFilm

The Classic Horror Movie Inspired By Disney’s Snow White – SlashFilm

“Disney” and “horror” are not words that go together for most people. The filmmaking company’s brand is synonymous with animated family movies. It’s an organization built on dreams, not nightmares.

Think, though, and you’ll realize that the very best Disney films typically have moments of horror. The Headless Horseman’s appearance in “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” is the first time I can remember a movie scaring me. The wicked Coachman (Charles Judels) in “Pinocchio” delights in turning little boys into jackasses, sentencing them to a living hell as donkeys deprived of humanity. “Hellfire” from “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” even has Judge Claude Frollo (Tony Jaye) being tormented by his lust for Esmeralda (Demi Moore) and apparitions, all backed to an ominous, ghostly Latin choir.

Then, look back to the beginning of the Disney animated feature canon with 1937’s “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” After sparing Snow White (Adriana Caselotti), the Huntsman (Stuart Buchanan) warns the young girl to run into the forest, far away from the jealous Queen (Lucille La Verne). The frightened Snow White obliges, but she imagines the trees of the forest as horrible, frightening monsters trying to grab, bite, and maim her — or worse:

The influence of “Snow White” is impossible to overstate. It even inspired Italian horror filmmaker Dario Argento and his 1977 Giallo slasher “Suspiria.” If that film sounds nothing at all like “Snow White,” know that Argento and his cinematographer Luciano Tovoli were out to recapture the movie’s look, not its fanciful songs or romance.

“Suspiria” is famous for its phantasmagoric lighting and pink-hue color palette (like every frame is soaked in blood). “It has been said from the beginning that Technicolor lacked subdued shades, [and] was without nuances — like cut-out cartoons,” as Argento once remarked, which is why he drew inspiration from a real cartoon to guide the movie’s look.

Suspiria, like many Disney movies, is fundamentally a fairy tale

“Suspiria” is set in Freiburg, Germany, at a ballet academy that is also secretly a witch coven run by Helena “Mater Suspiriorum” Markos (Lela Svasta). The film follows a U.S. student named Suzy Bannion (Jessica Harper) as she gradually realizes something is wrong. Her suspicions quickly escalate when her classmates start dying, culminating with Susie ultimately overcoming Markos to destroy the coven.

The German setting of “Suspiria” links it to the many Brothers Grimm fairy tales about evil witches — among them “Snow White.”In Disney’s “Snow White,” that witch is the Evil Queen, who disguises her cold and serpentine, yet youthful, face by passing herself off as a black-cloaked old woman.

Mother Markos resembles the transformed Evil Queen, while Suzy looks like Snow White. She’s a young, innocent girl with black hair who runs afoul of witches. The horror of “Suspiria,” for both final girl Suzy and the various victims, is structured similarly to Snow White’s run through the forest. Girls, like Suzy’s friend Sara (Stefania Casini), run only to find themselves caught in a maze of horror, each new step terrifying them. In the film’s opening scene, Suzy (sitting in the back of a taxi) spies former student Pat Hingle (Eva Axén) trying to escape her witchy pursuers the way Snow White did.

Disney’s live-action “Snow White” remake disappointed at the box office upon hitting theaters (but through no fault of star Rachel Zegler). For a much more soulful film pulling from “Snow White,” check out Argento’s “Suspiria” instead.

CBB’s Michael Fabricant clears up confusion over his infamous hair as viewers ask “is he wearing a wig?”

Michael Fabricant is one of the many famous faces in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother – but it’s fair to say his hair has got plenty of people thinking it’s a wig.

The politician, 74, has joined the likes of Patsy Palmer, Chris Hughes and Angellica Bell, all hoping to win this year’s series of the ITV show – which kicked off on Monday (April 7).

And while the line-up has gone down a treat with CBB fans, it appears it is Michael’s blond mane that has caused quite a stir.

Here, ED! is taking a look at everything the new housemate has said about his locks…

CBB viewers distracted by Michael Fabricant’s hair

After watching Michael – who is best known for being a Conservative politician – on Celebrity Big Brother, fans started to question whether his hair was real or not.

“Is that Michael’s real hair?” said one person on the social media platform X.

Another also wrote: “That wig is coming OFF on the first night.” Echoing their thoughts, a third person chimed in: “We are finally going to know if Michael’s hair is real!”

“Is he wearing a wig?” others asked.

However, over the years Michael has spoken about his much-talked-about locks.

        Michael Fabricant admits to ‘enhancement’

While Michael has not confirmed whether or not he wears a wig, he has previously shared that his hair has undergone some “enhancement”.

Appearing to address the confusion, he told The Mirror in 2014: “Okay, all I will admit to is that there is some — but only some — enhancement of the follicular area.”

Michael also discussed his famous mane during an appearance on Celebrity First Dates in 2017.

While on a date with Jan, she told him to “get rid” of his supposed wig. Michael then responded with “my hair is me”.

Later on, Jan apologised to Michael, to which he replied: “Can we not discuss hair? I won’t discuss your breasts if you promise not to discuss my hair.”

Michael on his hair being a ‘hot topic’

Michael also spoke about his hair during his Celebrity Big Brother VT too.

He said: “My hair has become a bit of a hot topic with some people. I think it’s because they wonder whether it’s my own. Well it is my own, I can show you the receipts – it cost a fortune,” he added.

How to Set Up a Web3 Wallet: A Beginner’s Step-by-Step Guide | NFT News Today

How to Set Up a Web3 Wallet: A Beginner’s Step-by-Step Guide | NFT News Today

Setting up your first Web3 wallet doesn’t have to be complicated once you understand the basics. With the right guidance, you can safely enter the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain applications by creating your own decentralized wallet that puts you in control of your digital assets.

        Key Takeaways

A non-custodial wallet gives you complete control over your private keys and crypto assets.

Choose between popular options like MetaMask.

Always securely store your recovery phrase or password in a physical, offline location.

Multi-chain support allows you to manage different cryptocurrencies from a single wallet.

Connecting your wallet to dApps opens up possibilities for trading, NFT management, and DeFi participation.

        Understanding Web3 Wallets

A Web3 wallet functions as your gateway to blockchain technology. Unlike traditional banking apps, a decentralized wallet gives you full ownership of your digital assets through cryptographic keys rather than relying on a third party to manage your funds. These wallets store cryptocurrencies, enable interactions with smart contracts, and connect you to decentralized applications (dApps).

The key components of any Web3 wallet include:

Private Key: A 64-character string that proves ownership of your assets

Public Address: Your shareable identifier for receiving funds

Recovery Phrase: A 12 or 24-word backup phrase to restore wallet access

With a non-custodial wallet, you maintain complete control over these security elements rather than entrusting them to a centralized exchange or service.

Selecting the Right Wallet for Beginners

Before jumping into a crypto wallet setup, consider which option best fits your needs. Here are three popular choices for newcomers:

        MetaMask

As the most widely used option for Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains, MetaMask offers a straightforward browser extension and mobile app. It uses a 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase and excels at connecting to Ethereum-based dApps, making it ideal for those interested in DeFi and NFT activities.

        Binance Web3 Wallet

This wallet uses Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology to split your private keys across three secure locations, eliminating the need for a seed phrase. It offers simplified asset management across multiple blockchains and a unified view of all your digital assets.

Setting Up MetaMask: A Step-by-Step Guide

Let’s walk through the process of setting up MetaMask, one of the most popular options for beginners:

Visit the official MetaMask website (metamask.io) and download the extension for Chrome, Brave, or your preferred browser.

Click “Create a New Wallet” and accept the terms of use.

Create a strong password (this will be used to unlock your wallet on your device).

You’ll be shown a 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase — write this down on paper in the correct order and store it safely offline.

Verify your phrase by selecting the words in the correct sequence when prompted.

Once setup is complete, you’ll see your Ethereum address, which can receive funds.

Remember that your recovery phrase is the master key to your wallet. If someone obtains it, they can access all your funds from any device. Never store this phrase digitally or share it with anyone.

        Essential Security Practices

Protecting your Web3 wallet should be a top priority. Follow these security guidelines:

Store recovery phrases physically on paper or metal (never as digital files or photos)

Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) when available

Bookmark official wallet websites to avoid phishing attempts

Consider a hardware wallet like Ledger or Trezor for large holdings

Regularly update your wallet software to receive security improvements

Different wallet types offer varying security models. For example, Binance’s MPC technology splits keys so no single point of compromise can access your funds. At the same time, traditional seed phrase wallets require you to protect one master key.

Getting Started with Your First Transactions

Once your wallet is set up, you can begin using it for basic transactions:

        Receiving Funds

Share your public address (never your private key or seed phrase) with someone who wants to send you cryptocurrency. Your address looks like a long string of characters starting with “0x” for Ethereum-based wallets.

        Sending Funds

        To send cryptocurrency:

Click “Send” in your wallet interface

Enter the recipient’s public address (double-check this carefully)

        Specify the amount to send

Review the gas fee (transaction cost)

Confirm the transaction with your password

        Understanding Gas Fees

Gas fees are transaction costs paid to network validators. These vary by blockchain and network congestion. Ethereum typically has higher fees than newer alternatives like BNB Chain or Polygon.

        Connecting to Decentralized Applications (dApps)

Your Web3 wallet serves as your login for blockchain applications:

Visit a dApp website like Uniswap (for token swaps) or OpenSea (for NFT management)

Click “Connect Wallet” on the dApp’s interface

Select your wallet from the options presented

Approve the connection request in your wallet

You can now interact with the dApp’s features

This connection process gives the dApp limited permissions to request transactions, which you must approve individually. Your private keys remain secure in your wallet.

        Troubleshooting Common Issues

Even with careful setup, you might encounter some challenges:

        Network Connection Problems

Ensure you’re connected to the correct blockchain network in your wallet settings. For example, if you’re trying to use a dApp on Polygon, you need to switch from Ethereum to the Polygon network.

        Transaction Failures

Failed transactions often result from insufficient gas fees or gas limits. Try increasing the gas price slightly or check that you have enough native tokens (ETH, BNB, etc.) to cover fees.

        Recovery Options

If you forget your password, you can usually recover access using your seed phrase or recovery password. The specific process varies by wallet but typically involves reinstalling the wallet and selecting “Import” or “Restore.”

        Advanced Features for Experienced Users

As you become more comfortable with your wallet, explore these advanced capabilities:

        Multiple Accounts

Most wallets let you create several accounts under one seed phrase, helping you organize funds for different purposes.

        Custom Networks and Tokens

Add support for blockchain networks and tokens not included by default by entering their technical details.

        Hardware Wallet Integration

Connect physical devices like Ledger or Trezor to your software wallet for enhanced security while maintaining convenience.

        NFT Management

View, transfer, and interact directly with your NFT collections through compatible wallets supporting NFT display.

With multi-chain support becoming increasingly common, managing diverse assets across different blockchains from a single interface is simpler than ever.

Dragoin ($DDGN): The Viral Meme Coin That Everyone’s Looking At In April

        0
Dragoin ($DDGN): The Viral Meme Coin That Everyone’s Looking At In April

The meme coin space is buzzing once again, and this time, it’s not just about dogs, cats, or frogs. Enter Dragoin ($DDGN)—a fire-breathing contender bringing fantasy, fun, and function to the blockchain. While others are stuck in passive speculation, Dragoin is actively building something bigger: a meme coin powered by real-time gameplay, a deflationary token model, and a fast-moving 25-stage presale that’s already heating up.

So what makes Dragoin stand out in a sea of meme coins? Let’s break it down.

Presale Frenzy: 25 Stages, One Opportunity

Dragoin’s public presale is live now, giving early investors the rare chance to buy in at the lowest possible entry point. The presale is structured across 25 stages, with each batch increasing the price—meaning the earlier you get in, the bigger your potential return. Starting from a ground-floor price, the token is expected to climb all the way to its target launch price of $0.002, giving early backers a potential 6,700% ROI.

But here’s the twist: any unsold tokens are burned forever. No rollovers, no second chances. That built-in scarcity mechanism makes every token more valuable over time and incentivizes fast action. For meme coin traders who understand the power of deflation and timing, Dragoin’s setup is hard to ignore.

Presale Frenzy: 25 Stages, One Opportunity

Dragoin doesn’t just sit in your wallet looking pretty. It comes alive in a Telegram-based mini-game, where players hatch, train, and fly dragons through an obstacle-filled world. The more skilled you are, the more $DDGN tokens you earn. It’s simple, fun, and surprisingly addictive—especially for a presale-stage project.

This immediate utility is a major differentiator. Most meme coins launch with vague roadmaps or zero use cases. Dragoin, on the other hand, is already delivering value through gameplay, building community engagement from day one.

        A Theme That Roars

Inspired by dragon lore, fantasy culture, and meme energy, Dragoin taps into the kind of storytelling power most meme coins overlook. Each dragon has a backstory. The presale stages are named after iconic battles (like “The Fall of Valyria” or “The Siege of Meereen”), and the entire project feels more like a universe than just a token launch.

For a generation raised on Game of Thrones, crypto memes, and casual gaming, Dragoin hits the sweet spot. It offers nostalgia, interactivity, and speculation in one cohesive package.

From a smart contract perspective, Dragoin is built on the Ethereum blockchain, ensuring strong security and compatibility. Once launched, the smart contract will be renounced, locking in decentralization and removing control from the developers—something meme coin purists always appreciate.

A Theme That RoarsA Theme That Roars

The project also offers referral bonuses, airdrops, and governance roles, encouraging deeper community involvement. It’s not just about flipping a coin—it’s about being part of a growing movement.

Why Dragoin Might Be the Next Big Thing

Let’s be real: the meme coin market rewards momentum, narrative, and timing. PEPE, SHIB, BONK—they all took off because they sparked emotion and FOMO before utility. Dragoin offers both. It’s got a compelling theme, early entry point, rising social buzz, and real-time gameplay already in action.

In a space where most projects wait until after launch to prove their worth, Dragoin is delivering from the start. And with each passing stage, the presale gets more expensive—so the window to get in at the good price is closing fast.

The dragons are awake. The presale is live. And with the meme coin market showing signs of resurgence, Dragoin could be the one token that turns heads—and portfolios—in 2025.

Nintendo Switch 2 Pauses Canadian and US Pre-Orders, Pricing TBD – ISK Mogul Adventures

Nintendo Switch 2 Pauses Canadian and US Pre-Orders, Pricing TBD – ISK Mogul Adventures

Nintendo is reacting, just like the rest of us, with sheer horror to current chaos within the global economy. Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders have been delayed in the US and now Canada, so Nintendo can “assess the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions”. Nintendo hasn’t announced when or if its Switch 2 prices will change, but there is plenty of reason to worry for many budget-minded consumers. One thing we do know for sure is that those wanting a Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order are kind of out of luck in major markets.

During the reveal of the console, Nintendo was very cagey about game and console pricing; something the internet immediately grew suspicious of. And now we know why. With that console itself being priced at USD 450 and $629 CAD, there were a lot of people already balking at the higher price point. Then the news of certain big-ticket releases being priced at USD 80 further russled everyone’s jimmies.

The statement, released to press, reads as follows, “pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.S. will not start April 9, 2025 in order to assess the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions. Nintendo will update timing at a later date. The launch date of June 5, 2025 is unchanged.”

On Tuesday morning, Nintendo of Canada followed suit, pausing pre-orders there as well “in order to align with the timing of pre-orders to be determined in the U.S.” Online pre-orders in the U.K. are already live. Whether that means price increases are coming remains unclear. Although Nintendo has admitted that tariffs on Vietnam particularly negatively impact their supply chain for the console.  Trump’s 46 per cent tariff on Vietnam came in higher than most expected, so Nintendo will likely raise prices to pass the costs to consumers.

The US Trump administration is squarely to blame here. Their decision to move ahead with roundly criticized across-the-board tariffs, faced stiff backlash. This is, of course, causing speculative game console price increases to be the least of our collective worries. Stock and bond markets were in full rout this past week as traders sought any kind of refuge from a full-blown market meltdown.

Nintendo hasn’t yet commented on the negative reaction to the overall price increases we’ve already seen. But one thing has a lot of people scratching their heads. During a media roundtable Q&A with the Switch 2’s hardware architects last week, a moderator shut down questioning about the price, saying the panel was there to answer questions about “the fun stuff” instead.

Nintendo leader Doug Bowser has now had his own moment in the spotlight. His statement over Switch 2 pricing has now draw significant pushback on social media. He said the following: “Some people […] may not be able to afford [the Switch 2’s] price point. That’s why we wanted to make the other Switch platforms available.”

Bowser did offer a bit more clarity on Nintendo’s thinking with pricing, adding: “As we look at Nintendo Switch 2 and you think about the feature sets that I talked about … we believe that the pricing is appropriate for the value of the machine and the gameplay experience overall,” he said.

The prescient callback to a time when the Xbox One launch, where the call of “stick with 360” became a rallying cry against always-on DRM in the console. Which is something Nintendo was also criticized for with it’s new Game Key Card scheme to tie physical cards to digital downloads.

All these announcements and chaos follow a week of absolute madness in global markets. J.P.Morgan said it now sees a 60% chance of the global economy entering recession by year end, up from 40% previously. Whether even more madness from scalpers trying to snipe every Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order in existence will follow is uncertain.

Last Cycle Favored Tron & Cardano—BlockDAG’s $212M Signals Change This Time

Last Cycle Favored Tron & Cardano—BlockDAG’s 2M Signals Change This Time

        In Brief

Discover why BlockDAG, with its $212M hybrid tech and robust testnet, outperforms Cardano and Tron in the Layer 1 race.

Last Cycle Favored Tron & Cardano—BlockDAG’s 2M Signals Change This Time

As the crypto market evolves, Layer 1 projects experience intensified demands to not only scale but also to perform. Traditional networks like Cardano (ADA) and Tron (TRX) have been contenders for a while, but issues such as development pace, scalability, and practical adoption persist. In this setting, BlockDAG (BDAG) is gaining traction as a potent Layer 1 solution, drawing attention with a record-setting presale.

Let’s examine how these three projects compare—and why BlockDAG might be a wise choice in 2025.

        Cardano: Big Ideas, Slow Execution

Cardano, created by Ethereum co-founder Charles Hoskinson, takes an academic, peer-reviewed approach to blockchain development. Its Ouroboros Proof-of-Stake consensus aims to be a less energy-intensive alternative to PoW models like Bitcoin. Cardano has nurtured a dedicated community and introduced several innovations, including staking and the Plutus smart contract platform.

Yet, Cardano is often criticized for its slow progress. It took years to roll out smart contracts, and its rate of adoption lags behind others. dApp activity is modest, and despite a robust framework, it seems perpetually in development without significant practical applications emerging.

Another point of contention is the complex Plutus smart contract language, which limits new developer engagement within the ADA ecosystem, creating barriers to entry.

        Tron: Fast Transactions, Questionable Reliability?

Tron, spearheaded by the controversial Justin Sun, is famed for its swift, cost-effective transactions. Its Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) model facilitates high transaction speeds and has seen success in areas like USDT transfers and online gaming dApps.

However, Tron is plagued by concerns of centralization. A limited number of nodes dominate the network, and its association with murky business practices has tarnished its image in Western circles. Though there is some developer activity and real-world usage, Tron is seldom included in discussions about leading DeFi ecosystems or major institutional crypto plans.

Tron functions effectively, but issues with trust and its prevalence in less regulated or ambiguous markets hinder its widespread acceptance.

BlockDAG: A New Leader in Layer 1 Innovation

BlockDAG is revolutionizing the Layer 1 landscape, not merely meeting expectations but setting new standards. Its unique combination of DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) for scalability and Proof-of-Work (PoW) for security creates a balanced hybrid system. This architecture allows for processing multiple blocks simultaneously, thus reducing the transaction delays and high fees seen in older chains like Cardano and even faster ones like Tron.

The impact of its technology is just the beginning.

Since its crypto presale launch, BlockDAG has accumulated over $212 million, selling more than 19.1 billion coins. Currently, in its 27th batch priced at $0.0248 per coin, it has provided a 2,380% ROI to its initial participants.

The release of Keynote 3—BlockDAG’s latest ecosystem update—marked a pivotal moment. It included the launch of the Beta Testnet V1, which is already handling 1.2 million+ transactions through over 100 community nodes. Plans for over 10 centralized exchange listings post-mainnet, the expectation of 1,000+ dApps by 2026, and the development of a comprehensive explorer and DeFi tools were also highlighted.

This is more than a concept; it’s a functioning, tested framework that includes features taking years for others like Cardano and Tron to develop, if at all.

BlockDAG leads not just in technology but in community engagement. Its X1 mining app boasts over 800,000 users, and its Telegram Tap Miner game has attracted over 400,000 participants, making it a standout in blockchain-based gaming this year.

Additionally, the sale of 16,800+ high-powered ASIC miners has helped establish a diverse, worldwide network of validators. BlockDAG’s modern two-layer mining approach is making technology accessible to a broader audience while ensuring robust security.

In comparison, Cardano’s complex ecosystem restricts user participation, and Tron’s system suffers from high centralization, making BlockDAG’s platform much more appealing to both developers and general users.

        Clear Winner: Assessing the Impact

Cardano maintains a strong academic foundation but is hampered by sluggish progress and minimal real-world use.

Tron, while fast and economical, faces issues with centralization and credibility in significant markets.

BlockDAG is setting a new standard with its hybrid model that promises genuine decentralization, exceptional speed, and a user-friendly environment. It’s rapidly gaining users, developers, and interest from larger entities due to its ability to deliver tangible solutions while others are still overcoming delays or reputational challenges.

For those seeking a forward-thinking Layer 1 solution with substantial ROI potential, practical benefits, and a dynamic community, BlockDAG distinctly leads the pack.

Big Rigs Over The Road Racing Steam Review

Big Rigs Over The Road Racing Steam Review

Why? That’s the question I have. Why? Why release Big Rigs Over The Road Racing at all? This 2003 game is widely considered one of the worst games of all time. It is still shit after all these years. The issue is, it is not alone anymore. This game was famous at the time for being as horrendous as it was. Now, there are countless games lurking on Switch and Steam that are just as horrible. Take The Love, it doesn’t work, the core feature is missing. Only people my age(older millennials) or older are going to remember Big Rigs. But since you’re here, I might as spend some time going over it. We’ll start with this video, which takes up a quarter of the screen(don’t ask).

As you can see, Big Rigs Over the Road Racing is a racing game, with tons of stuttering(it should be fixed by the time you’re reading this). However, there is no hit detection, no invisible walls to keep you on the course. There is a rival truck that drives, but you can easily beat it, and get the famous:

        Not my screenshot.

At the time, people marveled at how broken Big Rigs Over The Road racing is. No serious commercial game had ever released that broken. And this version is still broken. No work has gone into it. It may even the abandonware version ripped and sold, not entirely sure. But what I am sure of, its not a marvel anymore. There are countless broken and pointless games littering Switch and Steam, many from Midnight Works and Demenci Games, and others as well. There’s nothing special about this game now. No reason to re-release it, unless to capitalize on the meme potential for older millennials. That’s it.

Big Rigs Over The Road Racing gets a Hilariously Awful verdict(yes, this exists, only gave it out four other times in 500+ reviews) with a one back-end score. Yes, it is still hilariously awful, even if it is no longer alone in being complete garbage. Finally, there is a free DLC which adds more stuff(from another sister game) achievements and leaderboards. It’s nice, but not enough to make this any more than a curiosity.

Overall: Big Rigs Over The Road Racing is still a Hilariously Awful game. The issue is that 22-years later, it is no longer alone in how crap it is.

        Verdict: Hilariously Awful
