General Hospital 2-Week Spoilers April 13-24: Sonny’s Brutal Warning – Ethan’s Deadly Revenge Plot Ignites!

General Hospital two week spoilers for April 13th through the 24th reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) being warned and Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) back and plotting.

General Hospital Spoilers Monday, April 13th: Danny Wants To Join The Mob

On Monday, April 13th, we’ve got Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) getting upsetting news from her ex, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst). So, he shows up at Alexis’ house and she shuts the door in his face. Can’t wait to see that. But then she relents and says, “Look, Molly Lansing‘s (Kristen Vaganos) not at home. Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) took her for a drive.”

And while Ric is glad that Molly’s getting good care from her boyfriend, the thing is Sonny sent him over to see Alexis and that’s because it’s big news that needed delivered in person. So, Ric drops the bombshell that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) wants to join the mob. He wants to follow in his dad Jason Morgan‘s (Steve Burton) footsteps and Danny wants to punish the WSB for taking Jason from him. So, Alexis is going to freak out. She basically starfishes in her chair staring up at the ceiling kind of wide open in shock.

We also have Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) grilling Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). He wants to know, “What were you two doing that required lifesaving measures?” So, I don’t know if this was a different situation or if Lucas found out that Isaiah was using some GH supplies. I mean, I don’t think he’s going to tell Lucas that he is treating Rocco Falconeri in secret.

GH Spoilers: Jordan in Bad Shape

Plus, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) tells Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) he’s really excited about having a baby in the house again. However, there may be a hiccup. BLQ is alarmed by something. Maybe about Jordan Ashford‘s (Tanisha Harper) accident since she was on the road that night, or could be about the foster baby situation because Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) hits an all-time low on Monday.

She may manipulate the Brook Lynn and Chase Harrison (Josh Swickard) foster thing for her own benefit because she’s desperate to stop Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) from releasing the footage of her the night of the shooting. So, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) asks Willow why she would do anything for the Quartermaines. And I’m sure it is about this messy situation and her trying to dig her own way out because she thinks that Nina might pick Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) over her.

Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) asked Stella if there’s been any change in Jordan’s condition because Stella comes out of a staff only area at General Hospital looking a little stressed. So, I hope Jordan is not going to need another kidney transplant because the one she has now is a mess from this car accident. As far as we know, there’s no serial killers around to donate this time.

General Hospital Spoilers: Just Helps Sonny

Sonny gets tipped off by Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor). She warns Sonny that he is in way more danger than he thinks. Obviously, it is about Sidwell (Carlo Rota). And I think Justine may tell Sonny that Sidwell is certain that he stabbed Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) and is pushing for Sonny to be charged. Obviously, Justine doesn’t think he did it and she has feelings for him. Plus, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) does something to impress Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brayden Bruner). Now, we know that Gio is going to invite her on a romantic trip to New York City soon.

GH Spoilers Tuesday, April 14th: Britt Runs Into Somebody

Then, on Tuesday, April 14th, we’ve got Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) running into somebody, and it’s awkward. She and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) have a tense encounter this week, and somebody shocks Lulu. So, I’m interested to see if Britt mentions that she thinks Jason didn’t shoot Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and instead he’s protecting somebody. I also wonder if Britt is going to get a glimpse at Rocco’s hand and starts to put the pieces together.

Plus, Willow confesses to something. Curious to see if it’s to Nina. You know, Willow may tell her she tried to kill Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). But I think she would be crazy. Instead, if Willow’s going to confess, I think she should go to Sidwell and tell him what Jack is threatening her with. So, Nina is absolutely stunned and it could be because of Willow’s confession that she makes on Tuesday.

Wednesday, April 15th: Josslyn Does Some Snooping on General Hospital

Then on Wednesday, April 15th, we’ve got Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) doing some snooping. So this week, she heads over to her mom Carly Spencer‘s (Laura Wright) place and talks to her and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). And based on what Josslyn says, Carly is looking quite shaken. Now I wonder if they’re talking about Cullum shooting. Josslyn may tell Valentin that she and Britt think that Jason’s protecting somebody and Joss may want Valentin’s take on this.

Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) gets a tip from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). And I wonder if it’s about the Sidwell stuff. Plus, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) springs into action in a crisis. This could be about Brook Lynn and the car accident or about Brook Lynn and the foster baby situation. Ava Jerome‘s (Maura West) actions impress Sidwell. She’s been super supportive since Marco died and I think that Ava and Sidwell are going to get a lot closer soon. Plus, Curtis sticks right by Jordan’s side. He’s very supportive. You know, I think she’s going to be conscious soon, but I don’t think the medical crisis is over.

GH Spoilers Thursday, April 16th: Britt Has A Setback

Thursday, April 16th, Britt has a setback. Could be with her Huntington’s. Could be with the Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) cold fusion project that her life is literally depending on. Plus, Carly is shaken up. So many topics. Sidwell, Valentin, Jason, Jack.

Then, Josslyn gets suspicious. Now, she’s been trying to figure out who shot Cullum. And I wonder if soon she’s going to have a reason to suspect it was Rocco. Plus, Sidwell gets food for thought from somebody. And this may be about his assumption that Sonny’s the one who killed Marco.

And also, Lucas won’t budge. So, somebody may be pressuring him to move out of Wyndemere because it’s not safe. Could be Josslyn, could be Carly pressing him because she is suspicious. But he digs in his heels.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) - Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean)
General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos – Ethan Lovett

General Hospital Spoilers Friday, April 17th: Ethan Lovett Returns

On Friday, April 17th, Laura wants to join forces with somebody. Also, on Friday, somebody has an interesting offer for Nina. And it might be Carly because we know that they have somebody in common and that is Jack.

Nina already threatened Jack with going to Carly about the things that he has been doing. So, we’ll see. I would actually like to see Nina and Carly working together, but I don’t know. There’s just too much history there.

So, Ethan Lovett is back in Port Charles on Friday. He’s going to work with Sonny to destroy Sidwell once and for all because Sidwell tried to kill both Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and his half-sister Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Plus, Willow gets in Jacinda Bracken’s (Paige Herschell) face by the end of the week.

And this could be about Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) exposing her kids to Jacinda. Plus the Wylie Corinthos (Viron Weaver) hooker incident. Michael won’t like that and Willow may bring it up that Jacinda almost cost Brook Lynn and Chase the chance to be foster parents. Of course, I think Willow might be the one throwing a monkey wrench into that at this point. Also, Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) is taken by surprise on Friday. And this may be by her ex-crush, Ethan.

General Hospital Spoilers Week of April 20th-24th

Then the week of April 20th through the 24th, we’re going to find out what Ethan’s been up to during his time away from Port Charles since we last saw him when he was put up for auction at a terrorist event. And Tracy bought and saved his life.

So, he’s going to be in scenes with Sonny plotting payback as well as Lulu and many others. Nina is at a turning point after the offer that she got recently. And of course, Ethan is going to be plotting against Sidwell and is determined to make him pay.

Also, Britt’s desperate to finish the cold fusion project so she can be done with Sidwell and Cullum. But the question is, will they let her live? Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) is actually trying to protect her.

Lulu is going to reunite with her brother Ethan, and she really needs her brother right now. I do wonder if Lulu is going to tell Ethan what happened and what Rocco did, because she knows she can trust him 100%.

We should find out more about Jordan’s prognosis after nearly dying. Carly and Valentin struggle with conflicted feelings for each other. Alexis tries to keep Danny on the right path. Rocco continues to struggle with his guilt.

Kristina is going to spend time with Ethan, and Michael soon hears about Willow’s confrontation with Jacinda. Sidwell keeps plotting. Lucas is determined to help Britt and Cody and Molly get even closer.

Florida Governor Candidate Accused of Battering Elderly Victims, Arrested at Gunpoint

Florida Governor candidate Kevin Cichowski was arrested at gunpoint after he was accused of battering two elderly victims, and the incident was caught on police bodycam footage.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Cichowski, 46, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of battery on a person over 65, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, tampering with a witness and two counts of robbery by sudden snatching.

Deputies received reports that a man attacked two elderly victims at a home in Flagler County, according to NBC Miami. Cichowski has been accused of hitting one of the victims with a cane and throwing a cellphone at the other. Additionally, he was reportedly armed at the time of the incident.

One of the victims told authorities that Cichowski also threatened to kill them, as well as the law enforcement officers if they were called to the scene.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said that Jennifer Gill has been accused of second-degree attempted murder in the stabbing of her 83-year-old stepfather. Deputies […]

Upon their arrival at the home, the deputies found the two victims hiding in a bedroom. The victims were then escorted out of the home, with them explaining to the deputies that they couldn’t initially leave because one of them was bedridden.

After the victims were safely out of the home, the deputies set their sights on Cichowski. Bodycam footage captured deputies pointing their weapons at Cichowski as they ordered him to get on the ground. He was then placed in handcuffs before he was taken to the police cruiser.

Deputies said that Cichowski made suicidal statements while they were on their way to the detention facility. He was then “Baker Acted,” which is when inmates undergo an involuntary, emergency detention for up to 72 hours to have a mental health examination.

“When responding to a situation where a suspect has a weapon and has threatened to kill the victims and law enforcement, it’s critical that we do everything we can to safely de-escalate the situation and quickly rescue the victims from immediate danger,” Sheriff Rick Staly said in a statement shared in a news release. “I commend our deputies, RTCC analysts, and the 911 dispatchers for working together for a safe resolution and arrest the suspect before the situation escalated to a violent ending.”

Emmerdale follow-up: As Moira’s family believe she will walk free, Bear’s tragic fate may have been sealed

Moira could be about to walk out of prison and return to Emmerdale a free woman following the discovery of new evidence.

The contents of Celia and Ray’s lock-up will surely put Moira in the clear and see her avoid jail. But while her future is suddenly looking more hopeful, Bear’s a long way from freedom.

Tomorrow’s trip to the Dales sees Paddy’s dad make a mistake which results in him being accused of Ray’s murder. DS Walsh thinks she’s found her killer and Bear fears his fate has been sealed.

Will he be left to rot in prison until his dying day?

It was Robron to the rescue in Emmerdale

In tonight’s Emmerdale (Monday April 13) the race was on to save Moira.

Cain was anxious about his wife’s decision to plead guilty at her court hearing. He informed Marlon and Lydia that Moira would likely receive a six-year sentence, with the hope of being out in four. Cain explained this would cause Kyle and Isaac the least damage, but Marlon urged Cain to talk Moira round.

Back in the village, Robert was ready to take the rap for Moira when a call came in from Bear with a new lead. Bear had remembered about the number plate he hid for Ray – YH23RBF. Robert thought they were too late, but Aaron asked for an hour to investigate.

Moira was saved at the eleventh hour

Cain got on the phone to Moira and pleaded her to fight. His words fell on deaf ears as Moira refused to listen and ended up hanging the phone up on her husband.

Thank goodness for Kammy, though! The quick-thinking mechanic pointed Robron in the direction of a lock-up which he recalled Ray once using. Robert and Aaron headed over there, but it was like searching for a needle in a haystack. They returned to The Woolpack defeated, but then Marlon remembered the key he found at Celia’s farm. It was retrieved and within minutes the unit, and its incriminating contents, were discovered.

As word reached Cain of this miracle breakthrough he discharged himself from hospital and dashed off to court. He made it just as Moira was being escorted in and Cain shouted the good news to her.

This evidence is likely to see Moira walk free, but will Bear be in the clear too?

Emmerdale: Bear is accused of killing Ray

Paddy is feeling hopeful in tomorrow’s evidence as he believes the evidence is enough to secure Bear’s release from prison. But sadly this is not the case.

After the police go through the contents of the storage unit they find Ray was making payments into accounts under Bear’s name. DS Walsh presents her findings to Bear and demands an explanation. Poor Bear is honest in his response and explains how Ray promised to take care of him.

This is all the confirmation DS Walsh needs and she accuses Bear of murdering Ray so he could take charge of his empire.

Bear tries to plead his case, but it’s no use. Consumed with terror, he starts to fear there’s no way out. Will poor Bear perish behind bars?

Katy Perry: Ruby Rose Is a Liar; I Never Sexually Assaulted Anyone

          0
Katy Perry: Ruby Rose Is a Liar; I Never Sexually Assaulted Anyone

          Reading Time: 2 minutes

As we previously reported, model and actress Ruby Rose has accused Katy Perry of sexual assault.

Rose posted the allegation on X (formerly Twitter) in response to a post about snide remarks that Katy made about Justin Bieber’s Coachella performance.

“Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne,” Rose replied, adding:

Katy Perry attends the "American Idol" Season 22 Top 10 Event at The Aster on April 22, 2024 in Los Angeles, California.

“Who gives a s–t what she thinks.”

In subsequent posts, Rose elaborated on the alleged incident, which she says took place nearly 20 years ago.

“She saw me ‘resting’ on my best friends lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side,” she began,” she wrote adding:

“And rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her.”

Just hours after the allegations were made public, Katy issued a denial through her spokesperson:

Ruby Rose attends the opening night of "2:22 - A Ghost Story" at Her Majesty's Theatre on July 28, 2023 in Melbourne, Australia. Ruby Rose attends the opening night of "2:22 - A Ghost Story" at Her Majesty's Theatre on July 28, 2023 in Melbourne, Australia.

“The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies,” the statement reads (via TMZ).

“Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”

Rose has shown no sign of backing down, maintaining that Katy’s assault was “traumatic,” and she only now feels capable of talking about it.

“Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes,” she tweeted.

“Before I open up about something incredibly raw and traumatic, I tell myself ‘it’s ok, you don’t need people to believe you, you just need to get it out of your poor body, before it gives you cancer.’”

“But then I see this post and tears consume me, in a good way. Thank you.”

Rose went on to claim that she kept the incident a secret in part because Katy helped her secure her US visa.

“I’m now 40. It has taken almost 2 decades to say this publicly,” Rose alleged, adding:

“Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes. Thank you for seeing me.”

Rose has not yet replied to Katy’s denial, but something tells us this feud is far from over.

How to Unlock Meeko Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

How to Unlock Meeko Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s new update, Whispers of the Wind, brings a ton of new cosmetics, items, decorative items, quests, and a character. Moreover, there is a new free companion that players can unlock by pursuing Pocahontas’s friendship questline. This new companion’s name is Meeko, who can help with foraging. In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock Meeko Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Unlock Meeko Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Meeko is a new companion that unlocks at the end of the “A Raccoon’s Return” quest for Pocahontas. It is a Friendship Level 10 quest for Pocahontas, requiring players to reach the maximum friendship level and the prior friendship quests for her before they can unlock Meeko. Here is a list of all the quests that players must first complete to pursue the A Raccoon’s Return quest.

Save Meeko from Whirlpool in Dazzle Beach

As you pursue the A Raccoon’s Return quest, you will find Meeko’s paw prints inside the Cursed Cave. Upon informing Pocahontas about the paw prints, she will ask you to gather some resources so that she can make a Moontide Glow Necklace to spot the paw prints easily.

5x Glass: Craft at the crafting station using Sand and Coal Ores.

5x Fiber: Craft at the crafting station using Seaweed.

5x White Impatiens: Grows on the ground in the Forgotten Lands biome.

5x Glowing Algae: Dig the sparkling spots on the ground (Dazzle Beach) and fish out from the golden ripples (Dazzle Beach).

After getting the necklace, equip it from the wardrobe and visit the Cursed Cave again. Now, follow the paw prints across the Dazzle Beach biome and into a whirlpool in the water. Go to Merlin and tell him about the situation, and he will advise you to use a Raccoon Bait. You will have to craft the Raccoon Bait using the following materials.

3x Gooseberries: Grows on the bushes in Frosted Heights and Forgotten Lands biomes.

3x Raspberries: Grows on the bushes in Plaza and Peaceful Meadow biomes.

3x Blueberries: Grows on the bushes in Dazzle Beach and Forest of Valor biomes.

5x Fiber: Craft at the crafting station using the Seaweed.

5x Dream Shard: Dig the sparkling spots around the Valley, feed the critters, and remove the night thorns.

Wildly Imaginative Music-RPG That Hits Most of the Right Notes

Whenever I describe People of Note, it feels like it’s heading in an interesting direction before taking a wrong turn. It’s a music-based RPG…but the music doesn’t factor into the gameplay. It’s the story of one girl’s determination to be a pop starlet…but gets distracted with side quests throughout. The world reminds me, oddly, of the film Trolls World Tour, which I’m not sure is a recommendation.

If I was a video game executive, I’m not sure that I would have plopped down any cash for People of Note. It’s just too creatively askew, making odd decisions that don’t seem to make much sense on the surface, certainly not for a mainstream audience. For all the reasons I’ve mentioned, it sounds perilously close to a disaster to me.

          Ready to join the band?

Video Games Killed the Radio Star

I am happy to say that I’m not a video game executive, because People of Note is not a disaster. It is a wonderfully sincere love letter to music, a surprisingly deep RPG, and a great way to spend fifteen hours or so. If it were an album, there would be some duff filler tracks and some partially successful genre-crossovers, but I’m happy to have experienced it.

The story of People of Note centres on Cadence, a pop debutant who is aiming to win a kind of X-Factor competition that has been won seven times in a row by the band Smolder (a fantastic name for a smug boy band). Getting accepted into the competition is just the first step: she’s painfully aware that she needs a sound that no-one has heard before. So she heads out of Chordia, the pop city where she’s spent her entire life, and travels to realms of rock, country, rap and other genres to find new sounds and band members.

There’s a lot to unpack with the world and story of People of Note. In general, the moment-to-moment writing is top-notch. Conversations are presented in a 2D visual novel format, and the quality is higher than most VNs. It’s capable of bad music puns (the weapons, armour and items in particular are brilliant/terrible – Vanilla Ice Tea anyone?), throwaway quips with randoms, and some emotional, lived-in characterisation with the main cast.

Everybody Wants to Rule the World

I’m a bit bemused with the world, though. Don’t get me wrong: I love how the genres push against the stereotypes, with rap in particular being a gleaming citadel rather than a too-easy ‘hood and streets. But the world doesn’t really work for me. The different realms alternate between being segregated and open-border, depending on what the plot needs. People seem both aware and unaware of each other’s genres. I got a sense of how each realm worked in isolation, but not together.

And I get what the plot was doing, but that doesn’t mean it was ultimately successful. The rags-to-riches story of Cadence gets parked in favour of something far more world-ending, and I thought it lost something by making the transition. RPGs are overflowing with big stakes: I was more interested in helping a wannabe pop star to her dreams.

          Full of creativity

Still, there was never a point where I was bored with the world of People of Note. Iridium Studios clearly have some talented concept artists and imagineers on their team, because the different areas – and the intermediary spaces – are inspired. I love the creatures in particular, all of which have been smudged into musical spaces. The Accorgion (a corgi crossed with an accordion) is the clear winner, but there are monsters that have been spliced with xylophones and harps to great effect.

If I Could Turn Back Time, if I Could Find a Way

Hitching a wagon to the turn-based RPG makes a lot of sense, especially after Baldur’s Gate 3 and Clair Obscur. But People of Note doesn’t just tick all of the cursory boxes. There’s a surprising amount of depth and playtime here. You can gain Songstones from exploration and combat, which are socketed on your choice of character. Think Final Fantasy Materia and you’re mostly there. But there’s a neat Amplify system which allows you to hook up modifying effects to one or more Songstone. Min-maxers will love the final moments of the game, as some game-breaking effects can be achieved.

Combat is a little more perfunctory, but still not bad. Actions take place in ‘stanzas’: blocks on a timeline that governs who attacks and when. You can manipulate these stanzas, applying buffs and debuffs to them, and there is freedom of who performs their action in which stanza. Those actions are reasonably generic attacks, specials and rests (recuperating the BP that is spent on specials), while repeated hits means your character can perform a Mashup: a combo ability with one of your bandmates.

I was most surprised that rhythm played no part in combat. All of the attacks and specials have musical names and associated signature themes, but there’s no need to follow a beat or react to an enemy’s attack at all. It meant that I switched off on occasion, particularly during the enemy stanzas, and it just felt like a glaring hole in the concept and combat. Something felt missing.

Like the story, then, combat and the RPG stuff is very good but with omissions that raise the odd eyebrow. I wondered whether something was laying on the cutting room floor: something that didn’t work, or was too costly.

You Will Walk 500 Miles, and Then 500 More

But People of Note is absolutely capable of going above and beyond expectations. Exploring the world, you can come across a wealth of environmental puzzles. These range from the familiar – light and mirror puzzles – to the unexpected, as you balance water pressure and slide giant pipes like a bizarre sokoban. Other games would have reused mechanics from zone to zone. People of Note tries something new in every region.

People of Note screenshot showing a city scenePeople of Note screenshot showing a city scene
Surprisingly lengthy, but well worth it.

And it’s surprisingly long – a musical epic. It doesn’t challenge Baldur’s Gate 3 in this sense, but it reaches twenty-odd hours in length, which was more than we expected coming into People of Note. This isn’t a well known studio with piles of cash to burn, yet Iridium Studios have produced a world that feels large-scale. Somehow, they have managed to make it dense through shops, weird-owl collectibles, puzzle challenges and scattered dialogue. The scenes aren’t re-used assets: every new area has something dazzling in its centre.

As the old adage goes, I’d much rather play something that takes big swings and fails, than something that plays it safe. People of Note is the emblem of that. It feels slightly unfair to call its failures failures, but the wayward plot and lack of any musical gameplay dragged the experience down for me. People of Note is very capable of making you wonder what someone in the writing room was smoking.

But for every swing-and-miss, there’s a home run. The songs, the kaleidoscopic world, the Materia-like songstones: they all want to make me pump the air. Sure, there’s the occasional duff note, but People of Note is a crowd-pleaser that should pique the interest of music and RPG lovers alike.

Pharos Network Announces Exclusive “Stake Before the Stake” Campaign on OKX Wallet, Up to 16% High Yield Supporting Mainnet Launch | Web3Wire

Pharos Network, the Financial Layer 1 blockchain built for RealFi, announced the launch of its “Stake Before the Stake” incentive campaign. Supported exclusively by OKX Wallet, this strategic initiative aims to establish a capital foundation and foster community alignment ahead of the upcoming Pharos Mainnet launch.

Through a dedicated campaign supported by OKX Wallet, global users can participate in a structured staking framework to earn up to 16% annualized yield (APY) and qualify for future Pharos airdrops. The campaign provides a transparent and accessible entry point for early adopters to engage with the Pharos ecosystem as it moves toward its Pacific Ocean Mainnet release.

The campaign will be introduced in multiple phases, starting with a limited whitelist round before opening to the broader public. Participants will be able to stake USDC on Ethereum using OKX Wallet, with yields of up to 16% APY during the campaign period. Staked assets will subsequently transition into Pharos Mainnet through July 20, 2026, offering a gross 14% APY.

Pharos Co-founder & CEO, Wish Wu commented, “This initiative represents more than a pre-stake incentive, but a strategic step in preparing the Pharos Mainnet with both capital and committed users. By providing a clear, secure, and high-yield participation framework, we are aligning early adopters with the network’s long-term vision. ”

As the official exclusive wallet partner for this campaign, OKX Wallet provides the essential infrastructure to streamline user participation and tracking. This collaboration allows Pharos to tap into OKX’s robust ecosystem, ensuring an efficient and transparent experience for early adopters as they anchor the capital requirements of the Pharos Pacific Ocean Mainnet.

Ondo Pushes SEC for Approval on Blockchain-Based Securities Tracking

Ondo Pushes SEC for Approval on Blockchain-Based Securities Tracking

          Key Highlights

Ondo Finance seeks no-action relief from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to use blockchain for tracking securities entitlements.

The proposal uses Ethereum Mainnet to record tokenized representations of equities while keeping traditional custody intact.

The pilot focuses on collateral tracking with built-in compliance controls, testing a hybrid model without changing legal ownership structures.

Ondo Finance has asked the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to confirm it will not take enforcement action over a plan to use public blockchain infrastructure to track securities entitlements.

According to the official announcement, the request centers on a limited pilot: recording ownership claims to U.S. equities and ETFs, already held through traditional systems, on the Ethereum Mainnet. The proposal does not involve issuing new securities, but rather representing existing positions in tokenized form for operational purposes.

A hybrid model, not a system overhaul

The structure keeps the current market plumbing intact. Underlying securities would continue to be held through the Depository Trust Company (DTC) via broker-dealer Alpaca Securities LLC.

What changes is the recordkeeping layer. Ondo’s transfer agent, Oasis Pro TA, would mint tokens reflecting those holdings. These tokens would sit in a custodial wallet managed by BitGo, while Alpaca’s off-chain books remain the official legal record.

The tokens would mirror “security entitlements,” claims to assets held in custody, rather than the securities themselves.

Focus on collateral tracking, not trading

The proposal applies specifically to collateral backing Ondo’s offshore investment products. These tokenized notes, issued by Ondo Global Markets, are linked to more than 260 U.S. stocks and ETFs and sold to non-U.S. investors.

          The blockchain layer would:

Track collateral positions in near real time

Support minting and burning tied to investor flows

Improve reconciliation between custodians and agents

The tokens themselves would not be actively traded and would remain within a controlled environment involving regulated entities.

Compliance controls built into token design

The system includes restrictions typically absent in open blockchain assets. Token transfers would be screened against internal compliance lists and external monitoring tools. Administrative controls would allow:

          Freezing or restricting transfers

          Seizing and burning tokens

          Reversing transactions in defined cases

These features are intended to align with regulatory expectations while using a public, permissionless network.

Regulatory question: Can blockchain support broker records?

At the center of the request is whether a broker-dealer can rely on blockchain infrastructure to support its recordkeeping obligations under U.S. securities law.

Ondo argues the proposal does not replace required records. Alpaca would still maintain official books under existing rules, including requirements under the Securities Exchange Act and FINRA supervision standards. The blockchain layer would function as a parallel system for tracking and reconciliation—not as the legal record of ownership.

          Comparison with emerging market infrastructure

The request comes as the SEC has already allowed the DTC to explore a centralized tokenization model. Ondo’s approach differs by using a public blockchain rather than a closed system.

The company argues that limiting tokenization to centralized infrastructure may not be the only viable path, especially as blockchain-based systems become more integrated into financial markets.

          Limited scope, broader implications

Ondo’s proposal is narrow in scope but raises broader policy questions. It tests whether existing regulatory frameworks can accommodate hybrid systems that combine traditional custody with on-chain transparency. If accepted, the model could offer a template for using blockchain in back-end financial operations without changing the legal structure of securities ownership.

For now, the outcome depends on whether the SEC views this approach as a permissible extension of existing practices or as a step that requires new rules.
