Bold and the Beautiful: Sheila’s Shocking New Romance After Split – It’s THIS Surprise Guy!

Bold and the Beautiful has Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) heartbroken because she could not convince her husband Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) to stay with her instead of running off with his sidepiece Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig).

We know that Sheila is absolutely crushed, but she told Deacon that she’s not going to do something that she would regret. So, that means that she’s got to find a way to move on.

We’re going to talk about who Sheila’s next love may be after her failed marriage to Deacon. Before we dig into it though, please hit subscribe if you’re not following us yet.

    Sheila and Deacon Split Up

Now, this week, we saw Sheila confront Deacon about his affair with Taylor, and Deacon finally admitted he’s in love with Taylor, and he wants to end his marriage to Sheila. But she wasn’t going to let go easily. She begged him not to dump her, and she reminded Deacon that he made a vow when they got married, the whole till death do us part thing. And Sheila was pushing Deacon to please fight for their marriage.

But he told Sheila he can see she’s changed, you know, which was nice. And Deacon said he’s proud of her and will always want what’s best for her. However, he refused to stay with Sheila because he is in love with Taylor. So Sheila walked away.

Bold and the Beautiful: Sheila Makes a Stand

She left Il Giardino, but she vowed she’d be back and said, “This is not over.” But it is definitely over, at least for now. And as of Friday, Taylor is over at Deacon’s place with his kids, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Deacon, and they’re talking about whether Sheila is really going to go away quietly.

However, Deacon’s kids are happy they’re together, especially if there’s no ongoing threat. As for Sheila, if she sticks around on B&B, and it looks like she will, she’s going to need a new love interest eventually, or at least a guy to help distract her from the pain of losing Deacon, and we have some ideas of who the lucky or unlucky guy might be.

    Dr. James Warwick

So, the first guy to consider is a little blast from the past, Dr. James Warwick. I love Ian Buchanan. Big fan of his over from General Hospital and he was great on Bold. If you remember, he was Sheila’s psychiatrist back in the day and he was actually Taylor’s mentor and she was the one who took his v-card.

I think they were stuck in a blizzard. So, if you don’t remember, James was married to Sheila back in the late ’90s, and they have a daughter together whose name is Mary Warwick, who’s also kind of a nutter. But things got pretty rocky for Sheila and James.

Bold and the Beautiful: Sheila’s Blast from the Past

At one point, Sheila kidnapped James and she held him hostage in her basement. And Sheila nearly killed him with a fireplace poker. She has held James at gunpoint in the past. And Sheila blackmailed James when we last saw him on B&B in 2017 when he had a little return arc.

So Sheila might like to fall back with somebody familiar like James, someone that she doesn’t have to explain herself to like she would a new guy. You know, if Sheila was meeting someone on an app or picking up someone in a bar, her messy history might come up and James already knows it and he’s kind of okay with it.

Bold and the Beautiful: Jack Finnegan

So, a second guy to consider is another past fling, hunky lawyer Jack Finnegan, who she also has a child with. Back when he was married to Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), if you remember, Jack cheated with Sheila and got her pregnant with Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). And Sheila was crazy about Jack, but he forced her to leave Finn. And then Li adopted the kid with him. Sheila never got the life she wanted with Jack. He’s another one who got away from Sheila. The reveal of Jack and Sheila’s affair and them being Finn’s bio parents was what wrecked Jack’s marriage to Li.

So, I could see Sheila wanting or considering taking another shot at Jack. And honestly, I would love to see Ted King back to Bold and the Beautiful, somebody else I’m a huge fan of. So, I’d be down for Jack and Sheila to reunite. However, if that was to happen, I think that would end Li and Sheila’s new friendship. And of course, Li is the only friend that Sheila has, so it wouldn’t be a smart move. But I love Ted King.

Bold and the Beautiful: Mike Guthrie

Another guy to consider is Mike Guthrie. He was Sheila’s partner in crime way back in the day and then they brought him back a few years ago. Mike returned in 2022 and he helped Sheila out when she was in jail for shooting Finn and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

And I think at that point he was a guard. If you recall, Mike was obsessed with Sheila and he helped break her out of prison. And Mike told Sheila that he had feelings for her, which is kind of shocking seeing as she was often just awful, awful to Mike. Back in the day, Sheila even sicced a vicious Doberman on him if you remember.

And after Mike helped Sheila escape from prison, Li caught Sheila, tied her up, and was going to send her back. But then Mike cracked Li over the head and let Sheila go free. And then Mike himself wound up in prison. But at least he got a kiss from Sheila. And then in 2023, Sheila was sent back to prison and Mike was also still a prisoner. He was thrilled to reunite with Sheila, but then she got out. The upside to her rebounding with Mike is that he would be totally devoted to Sheila, which might boost her ego after Deacon left her for another woman.

    A Brand New Villain?

Another possibility is, of course, Bold and the Beautiful might bring in a new guy for Sheila. Could be a bad guy, a brand new villain to take her mind off Deacon. And if he’s a baddie, he might tempt Sheila back to the dark side. Right now, it does appear that she’s truly changed, but you never know what can happen. Especially if she has somebody new who’s kind of dark and they’re influencing her. That could be fresh and fun. And if this new guy’s devoted to Sheila, she might run with him while she’s still heartbroken over losing Deacon.

Bold and the Beautiful: Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown)
Bold and the Beautiful: Sheila Carter

Will Sheila Ever Give Up On Deacon?

And speaking of him, we got to talk about him as an option because Sheila is never ever going to give up on Deacon. At least not for the foreseeable future. When she left Il Giardino this week, Sheila promised she would be back. And I don’t think she was talking about the pizza or the tiramisu cookies.

She said that she and Deacon are not over. So there is a chance that Sheila may rebound and you know she has this grief over losing her marriage and she gets involved with one of these other guys we talked about but in the back of her mind she’s still plotting a future where she could steal Deacon back from Taylor who as far as Sheila is concerned does not deserve Deacon and doesn’t truly love him.

Bold and the Beautiful: Sheila’s Heart Stuck?

But I could definitely see Sheila using one of these other guys as a temporary distraction. Sort of a band-aid over the wound on her heart. But I think her heart, as dark and bizarre as it is, is always going to belong to Deacon.

And Sheila might always pine for Deacon and hope that they will reunite one day and kind of work towards that goal if she sticks around. And it seems like Sheila might be the one peeping on Taylor and Deacon at the end of this week when they are finally together. I mean, hopefully Sheila won’t obsess and fixate and stalk them constantly, but it could happen.

So, maybe another man is just what Sheila needs to get her mind off of this mess.

Derick Dillard, Husband of Jill Duggar, Joins Marines Amid Ongoing Family Scandals

      Reading Time: 3 minutes

It’s a time of change for the Duggar family.

Most of those changes are bad, such as Joseph Duggar’s arrest on child molestation charges.

But some of those changes are just downright unexpected — including the news that Derick Dillard has joined the Marine Corps.

Derick Dillard has officially joined the Marine Corps.

Yes, it’s not the most common career move for 37-year-old husbands and fathers, but Derick took the pledge, and he will soon be shipping off to basic training.

News of this surprising development comes courtesy of his Jill Duggar’s blog:

“Derick has joined the Marine Corps!” Jill wrote, adding:

“He has been selected for Marine Corps Officer Candidate School (OCS)!” Jill wrote this week along with a photo (above) of Derick pledging in as his three sons looked on.

“He ships out for active duty to Quantico, VA in a few weeks! Lord willing he will commission as an officer at the end of OCS and then go on to a couple of other trainings before getting his assignment as a Marine Corps JAG officer!

Longtime Duggar fans will recall that Derick worked as a lawyer for several years before leaving his job as a prosecuting attorney/assistant district attorney in Oklahoma.

Now he hopes to become a Marine Corps JAG>

“Becoming a military JAG officer has been something Derick has wanted to do for a long time and he even received a recruiting letter last year from the Marine Corps, but the timing just wasn’t right for our family, and then by the time we were ready, we weren’t sure the opportunity would still be available,”

Judge Advocate General– is “a commissioned officer and qualified attorney who provides legal services, advice, and counsel to Marine Corps commands and personnel.”

He’ll spend 10 weeks at Quantico, Virginia, to attend Marine Corps Officer Candidate School (OSC), after which, Jill and the kids will move to VA to be with him.

At some point, the family will relocate to Rhode Island for additional training.

“After starting the process in early March, we have been surprised how quickly things have come together and the doors that have continued to open, so much so that we can’t deny God is leading us in this direction,” Jill wrote, adding:

“Lord willing, after Derick’s 10 weeks of intense training at OCS, Jill and the kids will move to join him in Virginia, and then Rhode Island for the remainder of his training.

“We’d appreciate your prayers for health and strength for Derick as he prepares for and trains at OCS, and for the rest of us as we survive without him for a bit and prepare for new family transitions!”

For all the Duggars’ patriotism, Derick is the first member of the family to join the military.

Interestingly, as The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reports, none of the Duggars has commented on Jill’s posts announcing Derick’s new gig.

But to be fair, they have other things on their minds these days.

      A Fresh Start In Bookstonbury

Tiny Bookshop places you in the heart of Bookstonbury-by-the-Sea, a charming town where your new life begins with a small, second-hand bookshop. From the outset, the focus is clear. You’re not building an empire, you’re creating a space. A place where people can browse, discover and connect through stories.

Running your shop involves more than simply stocking shelves. Every decision shapes how your bookshop feels and how customers respond to it. You’ll choose which genres to stock, recommend titles to visitors and gradually learn what each person is looking for. Sometimes it’s about giving them exactly what they want, other times it’s about introducing them to something new.

That balance is where the game finds its rhythm. And it’s a near perfect balance too. We were smitten by Tiny Bookshop last year when we picked it up on Nintendo Switch, but this Xbox and Game Pass launch has dragged us back in all over again. We urge you to give our review of Tiny Bookshop on Xbox a read – it details the magic of this little game perfectly.

      A Space That Reflects You

From there, customisation plays a big role in how your shop evolves.

You can decorate with plants, lighting, trinkets and more, creating anything from a bright, welcoming space to something a little moodier and atmospheric. These choices aren’t just cosmetic either – they influence how customers behave and what kind of interactions you’ll have.

It turns your shop into something that feels genuinely personal.

However, the people of Bookstonbury are just as important as the books themselves. As you spend time in the town, you’ll meet a cast of quirky, friendly characters, each with their own tastes, habits and stories. Building relationships opens up new opportunities, helping you understand the community and your place within it.

A Proven Cozy Hit Comes To Game Pass

Tiny Bookshop has already built a strong following, earning overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam and finding success on Nintendo Switch.

Now, with its arrival on Xbox and inclusion in Game Pass, it’s easier than ever to jump in and see what makes it special without any upfront cost.

That accessibility feels like a perfect fit for a game built around taking your time and enjoying the journey, especially as it lands with that Play Anywhere support too.

      A Story Worth Settling Into

Tiny Bookshop is less like a game you complete and more like a place you spend time in. It’s about routine, connection and finding comfort in the everyday.

And now, thanks to its launch on Xbox and Game Pass, that quiet little bookshop by the sea is open to everyone.

Interested? Get yourself over to the Xbox Store. £16.74 is the price if you don’t have Game Pass.

Suspect Arrested After Molotov Cocktail Thrown at Sam Altman’s San Francisco Home – Decrypt

      In brief

San Francisco police arrested a suspect after an incendiary device was thrown at the home of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.
Officers later detained the same individual near OpenAI’s headquarters after he allegedly threatened to burn down the building.
No one was injured, and police say the investigation remains ongoing.

San Francisco police arrested a suspect early Friday after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the home of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

According to a report by NBC News, police responded to Altman’s home in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood around 4:12 a.m. PT after receiving a report of a fire. Investigators said an unknown man threw an incendiary device, causing a fire on an exterior gate before fleeing the scene.

Police described the device as a Molotov cocktail or similar incendiary device. Officers later detained the suspect near OpenAI’s headquarters after he allegedly threatened to burn down the building.

When officers arrived, they recognized the individual as the same suspect from the earlier incident and detained him. According to reports, the police did not name the suspect but described them as a 20-year-old man. Authorities said charges are still pending and the case remains an active investigation.

“Early this morning, someone threw a Molotov cocktail at Sam Altman’s home and also made threats at our San Francisco headquarters,” an OpenAI spokesperson told Decrypt. “Thankfully, no one was hurt. We deeply appreciate how quickly SFPD responded and the support from the city in helping keep our employees safe.”

OpenAI is assisting law enforcement with their investigation, they added.

The attack comes amid a rise in threats tied to artificial intelligence development, including a recent case in Indiana where shots were fired into the home of a city council member who supported building a data center, with a note left at the scene reading, “No data centers.”

Altman has not publicly commented on the incident, and authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.

The incident follows another security scare in November reported by Wired, in which OpenAI locked down its San Francisco offices after receiving a violent threat linked to an anti-AI activist who had previously visited the company’s facilities and was suspected of planning harm against employees.

Ex-Coca-Cola Executives Take Aim at the $5 Trillion Market That B2B Apps Couldn’t Crack | Web3Wire

      0
Ex-Coca-Cola Executives Take Aim at the Trillion Market That B2B Apps Couldn’t Crack | Web3Wire

nFuse, an AI-powered B2B ordering platform, founded jointly with Appolica, has raised an investment from two of Central and Eastern Europe’s most active venture funds Eleven Ventures and LAUNCHub to accelerate expansion across Europe, the US, and emerging markets. The company enables CPG retailers to place orders and helps CPG companies personalise promotional and new product communication – through SMS, iMessage, WhatsApp, and other messaging apps they already use, via text, voice, or photos – without downloading a new app, logging into a portal, or changing how they operate.

The funding arrives at a critical inflection point for the CPG industry. Energy costs and oil supply disruptions now ripple through up to a third of the CPG value chain – hitting manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, and last-mile distribution simultaneously. At the same time, CPG companies face pressure from the other direction: weakening consumer confidence and declining disposable incomes are compressing top-line growth across key markets. Caught between rising operational costs and slowing revenue, the industry can no longer afford to run its most basic commercial process – reordering – the human effort-led way.

The $5 Trillion Channel That Digital Solutions Keep Failing

Fragmented trade – the network of independent shops, kiosks, restaurants, and HoReCa operators that dominate commerce across emerging markets – represents over $5 trillion in annual value. In regions such as CESEE, Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia, these outlets account for the majority of FMCG sales. For CPG companies already navigating margin compression, this channel is both the largest growth opportunity and the most expensive to serve through traditional means.

Despite more than a decade of investment in B2B eCommerce platforms, adoption in fragmented trade hovers around 15%. Industry analysts estimate 80–95% of B2B eCommerce projects underperform or fail outright. The platforms work technically. The retailers ignore them.

“The fundamental assumption was wrong. The industry built eB2B for headquarters – for the people who wanted dashboards and data. Not for the retailer standing behind a counter who just needs to reorder beer before the weekend rush.” – Stoyan Ivanov, Co-Founder and CEO, nFuse

The Fix: Meet Retailers Where They Already Are

nFuse was founded on a different observation. Across all markets, small retailers are already running their businesses through messaging apps – sending voice notes, photos of empty shelves, and handwritten lists via SMS, WhatsApp, or whatever app they use daily. nFuse turns that existing behavior into a confirmed order in seconds.

No new app. No login. No training required. The results are materially different from what traditional platforms deliver: 70%+ retailer adoption with enterprise clients, versus an industry average of 10–15%. Revenue per outlet increases 15–30%. Deployment takes a month, not a year. Cost per order targets below $1 – a 5x to 20x reduction compared to traditional rep-based or call center ordering. For CPG brands under margin pressure, that cost delta is no longer just an efficiency gain. It is a route to profitability on outlets that were previously too expensive to serve.

For brands managing distribution at scale, the model also changes the economics of reaching the long tail. Retailers who previously reordered monthly – when a sales rep happened to visit – now reorder weekly. New SKU launches reach outlets faster. And with every transaction flowing through a single channel, real-time demand signals become available across the entire network.

“These retailers aren’t technology-averse. They’re using technology constantly. Just not the technology we kept trying to give them. They don’t want another app. They want to order the same way they message their family.” – Stefan Radov, Co-Founder and COO, nFuse

      Investor Perspective

“Stoyan and Stefan know the FMCG industry inside out and have set out an ambitious task to solve the broken model of B2B e-commerce solutions. Instead of asking retailers to change their behaviour, the advancements in AI has opened a new frontier of intelligent solutions that speak their language via the channels they usually use. This unlocks enormous opportunities for brands, as the tail of the market can now be served efficiently and at scale.” – Ivaylo Simov, Partner, Eleven Ventures

“The B2B eCommerce graveyard is full of platforms that worked technically but failed commercially. Most portals force unnatural behavior – buyers do not want to click through SKUs and quantities. nFuse makes ordering natural again via voice, text, or image, just like speaking or texting to a sales rep. With 30 years in distribution, the founders have seen exactly where adoption fails. We backed the insight as much as the product.” – Rumen Iliev, Partner, LAUNCHub Ventures

      What Comes Next

The funding will support nFuse’s expansion across Europe, with plans extending into broader EMEA and Americas markets. The company currently serves category leaders in beverages, beer, snacks, frozen food, modern nicotine, dairy, pet food, and wholesale distribution, validating the model across FMCG verticals.

Beyond ordering, nFuse is building toward payments and predictive demand intelligence – letting retailers pay through the same messaging thread where they place orders, and using aggregated shelf data to generate real-time supply signals for brands.

“The industry spent a decade trying to get retailers to come to us. We’re just going to where they already are.” – Stoyan Ivanov, Co-Founder and CEO, nFuse

Here’s how to start the Terran Armada DLC so you can explore new Starfield content

Here’s how to start the Terran Armada DLC so you can explore new Starfield content

It’s been quite a wait for new Starfield content, but the day has finally arrived for those of you who have been eagerly wanting more Settled Systems exploration.

The Terran Armada DLC brings with it a new robot army to take on, additional story beats, and a bunch of new gear to pick up.

Let’s get into how you can start the experience, so you can get to unearthing what this new, dangerous threat is all about.

How to start Terran Armada DLC in Starfield

As you might have expected, since it is DLC content, you can’t just boot up a fresh Starfield save and get right into the Terran Armada action.

However, what is good is that to actually make it to the entry point, you don’t have to jump through about a thousand hoops.

Instead, all you need to have access to is Akila City, Akila, within the Cheyenne System. This should unlock pretty quickly after talking with the Constellation group, extremely early in the main story, so if you’ve dug into Starfield even a little bit, you’re good to go.

Once you’re at Akila City, just go pretty straight from the spawn point, toward a larger building. There should be a couple of sets of stairs for you to climb, leading to the left where a bunch of people will be gathered.

As soon as you get there, you should get a New Mission notification for Attack of the Terran Armada, requiring you to listen to the SSNN broadcast. Just stick around where you are, and you’ll get a waypoint for the Nirvana System, ready for your first real task of the DLC.

Because of the Free Lanes update, which is also out in the wild on PS5, you can take your time getting there, too, thanks to the revamped travel system, instead of just looking at a loading screen.

Oxford AI Detects Early Heart Failure Risk From Routine CT Scans With 86% Accuracy Across 72,000 Patients

Oxford AI Detects Early Heart Failure Risk From Routine CT Scans With 86% Accuracy Across 72,000 Patients

      In Brief

Researchers at the University of Oxford have developed an AI system that detects subtle, invisible changes in heart fat from routine CT scans, predicting heart failure risk up to five years ahead with 86% accuracy across 72,000 patients.

      https://mpost.io/alphaton-capital-announces-43m-ai-infrastructure-and-financing-partnership-with-vertical-data/?_nocache=1775829468152

Researchers at the University of Oxford have developed an artificial intelligence system that can estimate a patient’s risk of developing heart failure up to five years in advance, achieving 86% accuracy in validation across more than 72,000 patients. The approach does not require additional testing, specialist intervention, or new medical equipment, as it relies on cardiac CT scans that are already routinely performed in clinical practice.

The work, led by Professor Charalambos Antoniades and published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, addresses a long-standing limitation in cardiology: heart failure is typically diagnosed only after significant structural damage has already occurred, at which point preventive options are often limited. The proposed system shifts attention to early biological changes that precede visible symptoms by several years.

At the centre of the model is an unconventional data source: the fat surrounding the heart, known as pericardial adipose tissue. While traditionally overlooked in routine scan analysis, this tissue appears to reflect underlying inflammatory and metabolic changes occurring in the heart muscle itself.

According to the researchers, these fat deposits gradually alter their texture in response to stress in the cardiovascular system, creating patterns that are not detectable through standard human interpretation of imaging results. The AI system is designed to identify these subtle variations and translate them into a quantified risk estimate for future heart failure.

Reading Signals The Human Eye Cannot See

Cardiac CT imaging is widely used across the UK’s National Health Service to investigate chest pain and assess coronary artery disease, with hundreds of thousands of scans performed annually. In typical clinical workflows, radiologists focus primarily on arterial blockages and visible abnormalities, while surrounding fat tissue receives limited analytical attention.

The Oxford model repurposes this overlooked data layer by analysing textural features within pericardial fat. Using machine learning techniques trained on anonymised CT data from more than 59,000 NHS patients, the system learned to associate specific imaging patterns with later development of heart failure over long-term follow-up periods.

In validation testing involving 13,424 additional patients, the model produced an 86% accuracy rate in predicting five-year heart failure risk. Individuals classified in the highest-risk group were found to be approximately 20 times more likely to develop the condition than those in the lowest category, with an estimated one-in-four probability of onset within five years.

Importantly, the system generates risk scores automatically, without requiring manual input from clinicians. This positions it as a potential decision-support tool rather than a replacement for existing diagnostic processes.

From Cardiac Scans To Any Chest CT — And A Path To The NHS

The broader ambition of the research is to extend the technology beyond cardiac-specific imaging. The team is currently working on adapting the model to analyse standard chest CT scans, including those used in lung cancer screening and respiratory diagnostics. Given the significantly higher volume of chest CT imaging compared with cardiac-specific scans, such an adaptation could substantially increase the reach of the system.

Clinically, the implications are tied to earlier intervention. By identifying high-risk patients years before symptoms appear, healthcare providers could adjust monitoring strategies, initiate preventative treatments earlier, and prioritise resources more effectively. With heart failure already affecting more than one million people in the UK, the potential impact on long-term healthcare demand is considerable.

Plans are now underway to seek regulatory approval for integration into routine radiology workflows within the NHS. If adopted, the system would operate in the background of standard imaging procedures, producing automated risk assessments at no additional cost or change in scanning protocols.

The research was supported by the British Heart Foundation and the National Institute for Health and Care Research Biomedical Research Centre in Oxford. It reflects a broader shift in medical imaging, where artificial intelligence is increasingly used not only to detect existing disease but also to infer future risk from subtle, previously underutilised biological signals embedded in routine scans.

Honkai: Star Rail players are eating good, with Version 4.2 and third anniversary celebrations kicking off later this month

Honkai: Star Rail players are eating good, with Version 4.2 and third anniversary celebrations kicking off later this month

HoYoverse just wrapped up a stacked Honkai: Star Rail Special Program, delivering the one-two punch of revealing the game’s next major update, and detailing what you can expect from its third anniversary celebrations.

First off, Version 4.2, dubbed So Laughed the Masses, arrives April 22, making two characters playable, and bringing back a host of beloved characters for re-runs. The new update continues the Phantasmoon Games arc, as the story takes an especially suspect new development.

The big inciting incident of this new chapter is the reveal that whoever wins the Phantasmoon Games will also become the permanent Aeon of Elation. Meanwhile, Fulwish has invited all Supplicants to the Fulwish TV HQ to announce their intention to host a TV debate about the ultimate goal of the Phantasmoon Games.

Naturally, you’re invited, and you’ll have to overcome the challenges that await to gather more Wishpower.

Our first new arrival is Silver Wolf LV.999, with whom you should already be familiar. The difference now, of course, is that she’s becoming playable. True to her game name, she evolves into Godmode Player upon reaching level 999. Silver Wolf LV.999 is a 5-Star Imaginary character on the Path of Elation.

Her main combat trick is the ability to rack up Hidden MMR, which is what allows her to eventually activate her Cartridge and settle into the aforementioned Godmode state. While in that form, she shifts the entire battle into the virtual world, pulling in both teams into her gaming domain.

This is essentially a world under her control, which is why she can unlock a Reward Stage at the start of her turn, which lets her spawn in-game items. When picked up, these items can turn the tide of battle.

Keeping up with the ultra-gamer persona, Silver Wolf’s Aha Instant strike blasts all enemies with a laser cannon, dealing massive damage. Perhaps her most interesting ability is being able to hack into the battlefield when she’s not actively on the team, something she can do when a teammate falls under enemy control.

Evanescia is the other newly-playable character, who has thus far only been an observer of the Phantasmoon Game. 4.2 sees the girl join the roster as a 5-Star Physical character who’s likewise on the Path of Elation. As she fights, she always accumulates Certified Banger, when she earns the title she’s able to simultaneously regenerate Energy and maintain her damage.

Evanescia’s damage continues to increase the more Certified Banger she accumulates, triggering an attack from Master Fox upon reaching a certain threshold, which deals damage to all enemies and regenerates Energy for herself. Her Elation Skill adds a bit of a performance to her kit, and is capable of hitting all enemies.

You may have noticed the Path of Elation theme in this one, so you won’t be surprised to learn that your own character (on the same path) is also joining the team in 4.2. There’s a new weapon that starts off as a glow stick but can transform into a lightblade as you deal damage, and, yes, gain Certified Banger.

It can also turn into nunchucks, which delivers a unique flurry of attacks on all enemies surrounding the character, dealing multiple instances of damage. You can also use it to cheer for a teammate, hyping them up.

Version 4.2 Warp Events will bring back six characters. The first half will see reruns of The Dahlia, Castorice, and Firefly. The second half will give you another shot at unlocking Tribbie, Sunday, and Feixiao. What’s more, four of the game’s characters will be buffed in this update, so you may want to reconsider putting them them back on your team. They are Firefly, Huohuo, Seele, and Welt.

As part of the same update, you can expect the debut of the Cosmic Data Roaming event, which goes live alongside the anniversary celebrations. The event lets you live the life of a streamer.

Currency Wars is getting a big expansion, too. Likewise, the Cosmicon Collective is getting its version 2.0 update, adding new decks, dice as well as a new team challenge game mode.

As for the big third anniversary celebration, it will kick off in-game on April 26, bringing back Festive Gifts. The event will only be available during these celebrations, and it will once again be gifting players who log in regularly a total of 20 pulls.

You’ll also be able to a select a blessing card from a companion of your choice to receive a special gift of 1,600 Stellar Jades. The same celebrations will also see the return of Huohuo, and Robin, as part of the Stellar Convergence store. You’ll have the chance to exchange your Golden Companion Spirit for any companion you like in the store, too. This being a new year for Honkai: Star Rail, the top-up double bonus is resetting, meaning anyone who tops up their wallet will get a hefty bonus.

Elsewhere, you’ll find new items in the Gift of Stardust Store, including a new outfit for Castorice. Between the time 4.2 launches and when the celebrations begin, you’ll be able to try your luck in Aha’s Chosen: Spreading Elation Everywhere, an online event where you can leave a message for a chance to win various prizes.

The “Rollin’” revival as a true fan-led momentum

The “Rollin’” revival as a true fan-led momentum

The “Rollin’” revival as a true fan-led momentum

In February 2021, the four members of K-pop group Brave Girls sat down to discuss disbanding. After years of modest chart placements and a revolving lineup, two members had already moved out of the group’s shared dorm. Their 2017 single “Rollin’” had come and gone without much commercial impact. The consensus was that it was time to find other work.

The next day, a three-minute fan-edited compilation of Brave Girls performing “Rollin’” on South Korean military bases went viral on YouTube. Within weeks, the track hit number one on every major Korean music chart simultaneously.

A group that had been ready to dissolve became the country’s most talked-about comeback story, powered entirely by audience momentum that no label executive had planned or paid for.

That story would have ended there, as a heartwarming footnote in K-pop history, if the economics of music hadn’t started catching up with the culture. Because what happened to “Rollin’” is also a near-perfect case study for a question the music industry has been slow to answer: when fans are the ones who create a song’s value, why are they the last to benefit from it?

Fan labor has always driven the charts, but never the revenue

K-pop fandoms have operated like decentralized marketing departments for years. Research into K-pop fan organizations describes a system where fans coordinate streaming campaigns, organize bulk album purchases, track real-time chart data, and manage their idol’s public reputation.

These are functions traditionally performed by paid marketing teams, carried out voluntarily by communities whose primary compensation is emotional.

The pattern is visible at every level of the industry. When BTS topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 2020, it was the result of globally coordinated fan activity across streaming platforms, iTunes, and radio request lines. The label benefited from the chart success and brand equity. The fans who made it happen remained uncompensated.

This gap between contribution and compensation is structural. Fans generate measurable commercial outcomes, but the traditional music industry has no mechanism to reward them for it. Royalties flow to rights holders. Revenue flows to labels and distributors. The people closest to a song’s cultural momentum sit outside the economic loop entirely.

What changes when fans hold a financial stake in music

The emergence of tokenized intellectual property is beginning to close that gap. Platforms that allow music copyrights to be fractionalized and traded as real-world asset (RWA) tokens give fans a way to hold a direct financial position in the songs they support.

When a track generates licensing revenue or streaming royalties, token holders receive a share of that income proportional to their stake.

The timing carries symbolic weight, too. April 26 marks World Intellectual Property Day, an annual reminder that the systems governing who owns creative work, and who profits from it, are still evolving.

This shifts the fan’s role from promoter to participant. The same behaviors K-pop communities have practiced for years, analyzing data, tracking performance, coordinating campaigns, become directly relevant to an asset they now own. A song’s resurgence becomes more than just an emotional victory.

      Where “Rollin’” meets real ownership

BeatSwap, a Web3 platform that tokenizes music IP rights as RWA tokens, currently hosts more than 700 music intellectual properties, with 630 of those being exclusive Web3 K-pop tracks. Among them is Brave Girls’ “Rollin’.”

The track’s backstory, a song that underperformed on release and was later revived by fan-driven virality, fits naturally into the platform’s model. It illustrates what happens when fan engagement, rather than label investment, determines a song’s commercial trajectory.

On BeatSwap, each tokenized song goes through legal verification before IP rights are registered on-chain through the platform’s Oracle. Tokens are then issued through the RWA Launcher, traded on a dedicated decentralized exchange (DEX), and connected to a social layer called Space, where creators and fans interact around verified IP.

The structure means that when a track like “Rollin’” generates licensing income, token holders participate in that revenue directly.

About 35% of BeatSwap’s user base comes from K-pop fandoms, a demographic already practiced in the analytical, coordinated behavior that tokenized ownership rewards. Some users model royalty streams with the rigor of financial analysts, tracking which tracks are generating income and adjusting their positions accordingly.

The platform reports over 520,000 active contributors and approximately $5 million in annualized revenue from IP usage, with an IP portfolio valued at around $13 million across contributions from top-tier K-pop producers and artists.

The audience is already ahead of the infrastructure

The resurgence of “Rollin’” happened because a community of fans decided a song still mattered, years after the industry had moved on. That kind of collective conviction has always existed in music, especially in K-pop, where fans have long behaved like early-stage investors without the financial infrastructure to formalize it.

What is changing now is the infrastructure itself.

Tokenized IP rights give fans a mechanism to convert cultural loyalty into a real economic position. Whether that shift will reshape the broader music industry remains an open question. But for the listeners who kept “Rollin’” alive long after its release and now hold a stake in its ongoing revenue, the answer is already playing out.
