Spider-Man: Brand New Day Posters Reveal Dark New Direction as Beyond the Spider-Verse Images Tease Multiversal Finale

Marvel Studios hasn’t officially said much about Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but after the first trailer dropped, fans are already convinced it’s hiding some major reveals.

From a possible Man-Spider transformation to the long-rumored arrival of the X-Men, the internet is breaking down every frame for clues. While nothing has been confirmed, several theories have quickly gained traction and could hint at where the MCU is heading next.

A Darker Peter Parker Has Fans Thinking “Man-Spider”

One of the biggest talking points from the trailer is the noticeably darker tone surrounding Peter Parker.

    Quick shots appear to show:

    A more aggressive Spider-Man

Subtle physical changes in his appearance

A loss of control over his powers

That has led many fans to speculate Marvel could be adapting elements of the “Man-Spider” storyline, where Peter undergoes a disturbing mutation tied to his spider abilities.

In Marvel Comics, the Man-Spider arc has been explored in several forms, often depicting Peter losing control as his powers evolve beyond what he can manage. While the MCU has never tackled this concept directly, the trailer’s tone suggests something more physical and unstable could be happening to him.

    Symbiote Rumors Are Back Again

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Spider-Man theory cycle without talk of the black suit.

Following the ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home, where a fragment of the Venom symbiote was left behind in the MCU, fans have long expected that storyline to pay off. The Brand New Day trailer has only added fuel to that fire.

Some viewers believe the darker visuals and Peter’s behavior could hint at early symbiote influence. Others think Marvel may combine elements of the symbiote storyline with a Man-Spider-style mutation, creating a new hybrid take on Spider-Man’s transformation.

While there’s no direct confirmation of Venom appearing, the groundwork has clearly been laid.

Sadie Sink’s Role Is Already a Mystery

Another major topic of discussion is Sadie Sink’s casting.

Marvel has yet to reveal who she’s playing, but that hasn’t stopped speculation from running wild. The most popular theory right now is that Sink could be portraying Jean Grey, which would mark a massive step toward introducing mutants into the MCU.

The idea has gained traction online, especially as Marvel continues to build toward a post-Secret Wars future that likely includes the X-Men.

    However, not everyone is convinced.

Other theories suggest she could be:

    Firestar

A version of Mary Jane Watson

    A completely original MCU character

Or another lesser-known Marvel figure being reimagined

At this point, her role remains one of the film’s biggest mysteries.

A Possible Turning Point for the MCU

If even part of these theories prove true, Spider-Man: Brand New Day could be more than just another Spider-Man sequel.

The film appears to pick up with Peter completely isolated following the events of No Way Home, where the world forgot his identity. That emotional reset creates the perfect setup for a darker, more vulnerable version of the character.

It also opens the door for larger changes in the MCU, whether that’s the introduction of the symbiote storyline, a new phase of Spider-Man’s evolution, or even the early stages of mutant integration.

Nothing Is Confirmed… But That Hasn’t Stopped Fans

As with most Marvel trailers, it’s important to note that none of these theories have been confirmed.

Still, the reaction online shows just how much anticipation is building around Brand New Day. Whether it delivers on these ideas or takes things in a completely different direction, one thing is clear:

Marvel has everyone paying attention again.

EastEnders follow-up: Penny’s detective work leads to Bea’s sinister plan being exposed

EastEnders follow-up: Penny’s detective work leads to Bea’s sinister plan being exposed

Things took a seriously awkward turn in EastEnders tonight as Bea’s behaviour raised more than a few eyebrows, with her obsession over Honey reaching a whole new level and her lies starting to unravel.

While Billy and Honey were excited for a rare night off together, Bea had already set her sights on something else entirely. After managing to persuade Ian to take her out, she was less than impressed when she clocked Honey’s brand new dress and decided she had to have it too.

This isn’t new territory. Viewers have watched Bea quietly edge her way into Honey’s life for months, from copying her look to landing a job at the Minute Mart and getting cosy in the family home. But tonight, things escalated.

Bea caused concern with her behaviour in EastEnders

After learning that Honey’s dress is from Penny’s stall in today’s episode, Bea went to buy the same one.

Penny even pointed out that Honey had bought the exact same dress the previous day. But Bea was adamant that it was the one she wanted.

However, when Bea’s card didn’t work, Penny told her she would have to insert it into the card machine. It was then that she took the card and noticed that it had Honey’s name on it.

When Penny questioned why she had Honey’s card, Bea thought fast and explained that Honey was treating her. Penny seemed impressed, and even commented on it when she later saw Honey in the pub.

As Honey was paying for drinks on her date with Billy – and while wearing her new dress from Penny’s stall – Penny commented that if she was feeling flush, she could get her a drink, too.

Honey seemed confused by the comment. When Penny pointed out the fact that she bought Bea a dress earlier, Honey assumed she had got her wires crossed and was talking about the matching clothes.

      The double date from hell

Later, Honey and Billy were enjoying a date at Knight Fusion when Bea and Ian turned up. Not only was Bea wearing the same dress as Honey, but she also insisted on sitting with them, much to Billy’s horror.

When the bill came, everyone baulked at the price. But Bea was adamant it was her treat. She not only paid for the entire meal, but also added on a huge tip for Denzel. All done using the credit card she had taken out in Honey’s name.

Could Penny be the one who unearths Bea’s lies? (Credit: BBC)

Penny will be the one to expose Bea, say EastEnders fans

But with Penny now on to her, fans have worked out that it is only a matter of time before Bea’s lies are exposed…

“Penny sussing out Bea… yes girl – you can save Honey!” said one fan on X. Someone else added that it is only a matter of time before Bea’s lies catch up with her. “Surely it’s been over a month since Bea took the card out in Honey’s name. Honey should be getting payment due notices.”

      What happens next for Bea?

The drama is far from over, as Bea and Ian continue to grow closer this week, even sharing their first kiss.

But the big question remains: is Bea simply longing for the kind of life Honey and Billy have built, or is her fixation spiralling into something far more troubling?

With Penny already circling, it feels like it’s only a matter of time before the truth comes out and when it does, it could change everything.

Spartans Casino Aims to Scale Past Pulsz & Global Poker by the End of 2026

The digital gaming industry is undergoing a massive transformation as players seek more autonomy, better rewards, and diverse platforms. For years, the market has been dominated by established social gaming giants that offer risk-free entertainment and sweepstakes opportunities.

However, as we move through 2026, a new force is challenging the status quo. Spartans, a platform that has rapidly ascended the ranks during its restricted beta phase, is preparing for a global rollout that could redefine what it means to be a leading bitcoin casino. By analyzing the strengths of current leaders like Pulsz and Global Poker, we can better understand the strategic disruption Spartans brings to the table and why its August launch is the year’s most anticipated event.

With a busy schedule of Hold’em and Omaha events, plus a selection of slots and blackjack, Global Poker offers a secure, legally compliant platform across 39 states. It’s more than just a game; it’s a community where skill meets opportunity.

The Strategic Ascent: Spartans Disrupts the Market

The trajectory of Spartans suggests a calculated disruption of the digital gambling sector. Currently positioned as the 40th largest crypto casino globally, the platform has achieved this ranking while operating strictly within a restricted beta phase. This performance is a critical indicator of market fit and scalability. For a platform to break into the top tier of the industry before its full technical capabilities are even public indicates a significant underlying demand for its specific architectural model.

The scheduled “Global Launch” on August 1st, 2026, represents the definitive transition from a controlled testing environment to a high-velocity operation. This date is not merely a technical rollout but a strategic pivot point. By removing beta restrictions, Spartans will unlock the liquidity and user acquisition channels necessary to challenge established players. The roadmap is unapologetically aggressive, aiming to secure the position of famous Bitcoin casino by the conclusion of 2026.

To displace entrenched industry giants, Spartans is leveraging its current momentum to build a superior infrastructure that prioritizes speed and transparent verification. Moving from 40th to the leading spot requires exponential growth, yet the data from the beta period demonstrates a retention rate that often eludes larger, more bloated competitors.

The Strategic Ascent: Spartans Disrupts the MarketThe Strategic Ascent: Spartans Disrupts the Market

The August 1st launch serves as the catalyst for this final push, turning existing market interest into a global standard. In an industry where trust is the primary currency, Spartans is positioning itself to be the dominant force through sheer operational excellence and strategic market timing.

        The Future of Digital Wagering

As we look toward the final quarters of 2026, the contrast between traditional social gaming and the crypto-driven future is clear. Pulsz will continue to be a haven for slot lovers, and Global Poker will remain the go-to for tactical enthusiasts, but Spartans represents the next evolution of the industry. Its meteoric rise during the beta phase is a testament to a shift in player preference toward transparency and crypto-integration. With the August 1st global rollout, Spartans is not just launching a site; it is executing a strategic takeover.

For those seeking the ultimate combination of speed, security, and rewards, the journey toward the leading Bitcoin casino inevitably leads to the gates of Spartans.

XenData Announces Backup, Archive and Cloud-Connect for LucidLink | Web3Wire

CAMBRIDGE, UK / ACCESS Newswire / April 14, 2026 / XenData, the provider of cutting-edge data storage solutions, announces the availability of three products that enhance LucidLink functionality: Backup for LucidLink, Archive for LucidLink and Cloud-Connect for LucidLink. All three products run on a Windows platform, typically a cloud-based virtual machine such as an EC2 instance from AWS.

Backup for LucidLink provides an enhanced disaster recovery strategy. While a LucidLink Filespace offers excellent redundancy and availability, XenData’s Backup for LucidLink synchronizes the content to an entirely different storage location. It supports backing up to any AWS, Azure, Seagate Lyve or Wasabi datacenter. Data integrity is ensured using end-to-end logical block protection and individual files may be downloaded independently of LucidLink.

Archive for LucidLink is ideal for offloading finished projects and it allows an administrator to easily move files and folders from a LucidLink Filespace to standard object storage on one or multiple public clouds, including AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Seagate Lyve and Wasabi object storage. Archive for LucidLink provides a web portal that displays previews of all video and image files written to the cloud archive, including files that are stored on inaccessible storage tiers such as AWS Glacier and the Azure Archive Tier. Furthermore, it allows users to rehydrate files to an accessible tier and then to download to their local Mac or PC.

Archive for LucidLink includes a web portal that displays previews of all video and image files written to the cloud archive. The web interface allows users to manage multi-tiered cloud storage including rehydration of files to an accessible tier and then download to their local computer.

Cloud-Connect for LucidLink allows files stored in existing AWS and Azure object storage, including on inaccessible tiers, to be easily added to a LucidLink Filespace. The software continuously indexes the object storage repository creating a file-folder structure that can be browsed via a Cloud-Connect web portal. Users can rehydrate selected files from inaccessible storage tiers such as AWS Glacier and the Azure Archive Tier and then connect them to a LucidLink Filespace.

Dr Phil Storey, XenData CEO, commented, “LucidLink is the leading provider of shared cloud storage for real-time collaborative video editing. We are delighted to be offering enhancements that provide independent backup and archive plus Cloud-Connect, which makes it easy to integrate existing multi-tiered cloud archives with LucidLink.”

This suite of products will be demonstrated for the first time at NAB 2026 in Las Vegas, 19 – 22 April on the XenData booth at W2811.

Bitget Launches CFD Copy Trading Amid Rising Demand For Cross-Market Exposure

Bitget Launches CFD Copy Trading Amid Rising Demand For Cross-Market Exposure

        In Brief

Bitget launches CFD Copy Trading, enabling users to mirror expert strategies across forex, commodities, and indices, expanding access to traditional markets with enhanced execution and profit-sharing features.

Bitget Launches CFD Copy Trading Amid Rising Demand For Cross-Market Exposure

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget announced the introduction of CFD Copy Trading, a feature aimed at expanding user access to traditional financial markets. The new offering enables participants to automatically replicate the strategies of experienced traders across asset classes such as foreign exchange, commodities, and indices directly within the Bitget platform.

The development follows a period of significant expansion in Bitget’s contracts-for-difference (CFD) segment, which recently recorded more than $6 billion in daily trading volume. This increase has been attributed to heightened volatility across global markets, with notable price movements in assets such as gold, oil, major currency pairs, and equity indices attracting interest from crypto-focused traders seeking broader exposure as macroeconomic trends become increasingly interconnected.

Despite this growth, participation has largely been concentrated among more experienced traders capable of responding quickly to macroeconomic signals. Access for less active users has remained limited, particularly for those who do not regularly monitor market developments or trade across multiple asset classes. The newly introduced CFD Copy Trading feature is positioned as a solution to this gap, allowing users to mirror the positions of leading traders with an entry threshold starting from 50 USDT, using a framework similar to existing copy trading functions available in Bitget’s futures and spot markets.

“More users are paying attention to macro movements because the opportunity set has widened beyond crypto alone,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget in a written statement. “What matters now is making that access practical. Copy trading lowers the execution barrier for users who want exposure to global markets without needing to build that expertise from scratch,” she added.

Infrastructure, Execution Model, And Profit-Sharing Mechanisms

The system is built on Bitget’s integration with MT5-based CFD infrastructure and incorporates several features intended to improve operational efficiency and transparency. Account creation and withdrawal processes are automated and reportedly completed within seconds, reducing onboarding and settlement friction. The platform also applies a High-Water Mark profit-sharing mechanism, under which traders receive compensation only when followers achieve new net profit highs after recovering any prior losses, aligning incentives between strategy providers and participants.

Performance metrics, including return on investment, follower counts, and profit-sharing data, are updated on an hourly basis, replacing delayed reporting systems commonly used in the broader market. Profit-sharing distributions are processed daily, with top-performing traders eligible to receive up to 30% of generated profits. Additional structures, including VIP tiers, allow selected traders to offer restricted access portfolios to invited participants.

The launch is also presented as part of Bitget’s broader Universal Exchange strategy, which aims to provide unified access to multiple asset classes through a single account framework. By using USDT as margin, users can trade across cryptocurrencies, commodities, foreign exchange, and indices without transferring funds between platforms or converting capital. The feature is intended to simplify entry into traditional markets for crypto users, while also attracting established MT5 and forex traders into an environment where digital and traditional financial assets are increasingly integrated.

How to Verify a Crypto Exchange Is Safe [2026]

        0
How to Verify a Crypto Exchange Is Safe [2026]

Learn how to verify a crypto exchange is safe using a step-by-step due diligence framework covering legal structure, custody models, incident history, and red flags.

Seventeen billion dollars. That’s how much Chainalysis estimates was stolen through crypto scams and fraud in 2025 alone, a figure that dwarfs the previous year’s $12 billion revised total. Impersonation scams surged 1,400% year-over-year. AI-enabled fraud proved 4.5 times more profitable than traditional schemes. And behind most of these losses sits the same root failure: users trusted a platform they never bothered to verify.

The question isn’t whether you should verify a crypto exchange before using it. The question is whether you know how. Most “is this exchange safe?” guides recycle the same vague advice, check reviews, look for a padlock icon, trust your gut. That’s not due diligence. That’s a coin toss.

This framework gives you a concrete, repeatable process to assess exchange legitimacy, the same approach institutional traders and compliance professionals use, adapted for anyone who’d rather not become a statistic.

Step 1: Verify the Legal Entity Behind the Exchange

A legitimate exchange is always traceable to a registered legal entity. The first thing to check isn’t the exchange’s homepage, it’s the corporate registry where its parent company is filed. A crypto exchange due diligence process starts here because everything else depends on whether a real, accountable organization stands behind the interface.

        Here’s what to look for:

Company name and registration number — typically found in the Terms of Service or legal footer. Cross-reference this against the national corporate registry (e.g., Companies House in the UK, Seychelles Financial Services Authority for offshore entities).Jurisdiction — where the company is incorporated determines which regulations apply. The EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), which became fully applicable in December 2024, now requires crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) to obtain authorization and meet capital, governance, and consumer protection standards. By February 2025, more than 50 crypto firms had already lost their licenses for failing to meet AML or KYC requirements.Named leadership — anonymous teams are a red flag. Legitimate platforms identify their principals, compliance officers, or at minimum, a designated AML officer with authority over operations.

If an exchange can’t produce a verifiable legal entity, a registered jurisdiction, and at least one named responsible person, stop there. Nothing else matters.

Step 2: How Do You Check a Crypto Exchange’s Incident History?

Past behavior is the single strongest predictor of future risk. An exchange with zero incidents isn’t necessarily safe, it might just be new. But an exchange that has handled incidents transparently and compensated users has proven something under pressure.

What counts as a meaningful track record:

Operational longevity — platforms operating continuously for 5+ years have survived multiple market cycles, regulatory shifts, and attack vectors. That’s not nothing.Public breach response — did they disclose the incident promptly? Compensate affected users? Or did they go silent, delete Telegram messages, and rebrand?Regulatory actions — check whether the platform has been sanctioned, fined, or banned in any jurisdiction. The FBI’s IC3 reported $9.3 billion in crypto-related fraud losses for 2024, a 66% increase from the prior year. Regulators are paying attention.

A clean record matters. But a clean record spanning years of continuous operation matters more.

Step 3: Understand the Custody Model — It’s the Biggest Risk Factor

A custody model defines who controls your funds during a transaction. Custodial exchanges hold your crypto in their wallets. Non-custodial exchanges never take possession, your assets move directly from your wallet to the counterparty’s.

This distinction isn’t academic. When FTX collapsed in November 2022, billions in customer funds vanished because the platform held, and misused, deposited assets. The risk wasn’t a hack. It was an insider with access to the vault. Custodial architectures create this entire category of vulnerability. Non-custodial architectures eliminate it.

        Here’s the practical difference:

FeatureCustodial ExchangeNon-Custodial ExchangeFund controlPlatform holds assetsUser retains controlInsolvency riskHigh, user funds at riskNone, no pooled balancesInsider threatPossibleStructurally eliminatedKYC typically requiredYesVaries, often minimalSwap speedVariesUsually 5–30 minutesExample platformsCoinbase, Kraken, BinanceGodex, Boltz, Bisq

A non-custodial exchange, sometimes called an instant swap service, processes your transaction without ever storing your assets on their servers. You send crypto to a generated address, the swap executes, and the result arrives in your specified wallet. The exposure window is minutes, not days.

That said, “non-custodial” doesn’t automatically equal “safe.” You still need to verify the legal entity, the incident history, and the operational model. But it does remove the single largest category of exchange risk: someone else holding your money.

Decision matrix comparing custodial and non-custodial crypto exchanges across six risk dimensions. Custodial exchanges show higher risk for fund control, insolvency, insider threat, privacy, and account freezes. Non-custodial exchanges show lower risk across all six dimensions, with user-retained fund control, no insolvency exposure, eliminated insider threat, anonymous swaps by default, 5 to 30 minute speed, and no accounts to freeze.

Scam Exchange Red Flags: What Should Immediately Disqualify a Platform?

Most scam exchanges share a predictable pattern of signals. Recognizing them early is simpler than most people think, the problem is that nobody teaches you what to look for until after the money’s gone.

Side-by-side comparison of a scam crypto exchange versus a legitimate one across five due diligence checks: legal entity, team, AML compliance, custody model, and support history. Scam exchanges show no registered company, anonymous teams, no published policies, wallet connection requirements, and template support replies. Legitimate exchanges show named companies, verifiable officers, published AML frameworks, address-only non-custodial swaps, and active public issue resolution.Side-by-side comparison of a scam crypto exchange versus a legitimate one across five due diligence checks: legal entity, team, AML compliance, custody model, and support history. Scam exchanges show no registered company, anonymous teams, no published policies, wallet connection requirements, and template support replies. Legitimate exchanges show named companies, verifiable officers, published AML frameworks, address-only non-custodial swaps, and active public issue resolution.

        Immediate disqualifiers:

No verifiable legal entity. If the Terms of Service don’t name a registered company with a jurisdiction, treat the platform as unaccountable.Anonymous or fictional team. Stock photos on the “About” page, LinkedIn profiles that don’t exist, or team members with no verifiable professional history.Guaranteed returns or unrealistic rates. Any platform promising fixed percentage gains is running a scheme, not an exchange. The Chainalysis 2026 Crypto Crime Report found that high-yield investment programs remain one of the dominant scam categories by volume. No published AML/KYC policy. Even privacy-focused platforms need an anti-money-laundering framework. An AML policy is a legal compliance structure, a policy that describes how the platform detects and reports suspicious activity. Its absence suggests either operational immaturity or deliberate evasion.Wallet connection required for swaps. Legitimate non-custodial exchanges only need a destination wallet address, a string of characters you paste in. If a platform asks you to connect your wallet directly (granting it permissions to interact with your assets), that’s a fundamentally different security model and a common attack vector for phishing scams. No support channel with real response history. Check Trustpilot, Reddit, and crypto forums. If every negative review gets a template response, or no response at all, the support infrastructure is likely cosmetic.

One red flag is a warning. Three red flags is a pattern. Act accordingly.

What Tools Can You Use to Verify Exchange Legitimacy?

Third-party verification tools compress hours of research into minutes. A few are worth using every time you evaluate a new platform:

ScamAdviser — analyzes domain age, hosting, SSL certificates, and known scam patterns. Useful as a first-pass filter for obviously fraudulent sites.Trustpilot — look beyond the star rating. Read the negative reviews for patterns (e.g., “funds stuck,” “support ghosted me”) and check whether the platform responds and resolves issues publicly.National corporate registries — verify that the legal entity named in the platform’s Terms of Service actually exists and is in good standing.Chainalysis / TRM Labs reports — for understanding broader industry trends. TRM Labs observed $23 billion in verified crypto fraud in 2025. These reports contextualize which types of platforms are being exploited.FATF high-risk jurisdiction lists — if the exchange is domiciled in a FATF-blacklisted country and makes no mention of compliance measures, proceed with extreme caution.

No single tool is sufficient. But stacking three or four of these checks gives you a reliable composite picture.

Case Study: Applying This Framework to Godex

Theory is useful. The application is better. Here’s what happens when you run the framework above against a real platform.

Legal entity check. Godex is operated by Nrnb Ltd., a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Seychelles. This is stated in their publicly available AML/KYC Policy, which also names a designated AML Compliance Officer with direct access to senior management. The Seychelles is a common jurisdiction for crypto exchanges, not a red flag by itself, but one that means the platform isn’t subject to MiCA or SEC oversight. What matters is whether the platform voluntarily implements comparable compliance standards. Godex’s published AML policy includes a Customer Identification Program, risk-based tiering, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting procedures, framework elements that mirror FATF recommendations.

Incident history. Godex is a non-custodial instant crypto exchange operating since 2018 that requires no KYC or registration. Eight years of continuous operation across multiple market cycles, including the 2022 crash that killed FTX, Celsius, and Voyager, with no reported security breaches or frozen-fund incidents at a platform level. Over 1,000 Trustpilot reviews with a 4.4-star rating. Some individual complaints exist (as they do for every exchange), but the pattern shows active support responses and issue resolution rather than silence.

Custody model. Non-custodial by design. You never create an account. You never deposit funds into a Godex-controlled wallet. You enter a destination address, send your crypto, and receive the swapped asset. The exposure window is the transaction processing time, typically minutes. This architecture structurally eliminates insolvency risk, insider misuse, and the account-freeze scenarios that custodial users encounter.

Red flag scan. Published AML/KYC policy, present. Legal entity with named jurisdiction, confirmed. No wallet connection required, confirmed (address-only). Active support with public response history, confirmed. Partnerships with established brands (Trezor, Edge Wallet), present. Restricted jurisdictions list aligned with FATF guidance, present.

Operational specifics. 937+ supported cryptocurrencies. Both fixed and floating rate options (a fixed rate, also called a locked rate, guarantees the quoted price for the duration of the swap, protecting against market volatility). No upper exchange volume limits. 24/7 support.

Run the same framework against any platform that asks for your money. Most won’t clear every step.

        The Due Diligence Checklist

Before using any crypto exchange, centralized, decentralized, custodial, or non-custodial, run through this:

Seven-point crypto exchange legitimacy scorecard showing evaluation criteria, what to look for, and where to find it. Checks include legal entity via Terms of Service, operational history via Trustpilot, custody model via FAQ, AML compliance via policy page, red flag scan via homepage, user reviews via Trustpilot and Reddit, and third-party verification via ScamAdviser. Scoring guide: 7 of 7 is high confidence, 4 to 6 means investigate further, 0 to 3 means walk away.Seven-point crypto exchange legitimacy scorecard showing evaluation criteria, what to look for, and where to find it. Checks include legal entity via Terms of Service, operational history via Trustpilot, custody model via FAQ, AML compliance via policy page, red flag scan via homepage, user reviews via Trustpilot and Reddit, and third-party verification via ScamAdviser. Scoring guide: 7 of 7 is high confidence, 4 to 6 means investigate further, 0 to 3 means walk away.

A safe crypto exchange doesn’t ask you to trust it, it gives you the evidence to verify it yourself.

        The Bottom Line

Exchange legitimacy isn’t binary. It’s a spectrum measured by transparency, architecture, and track record. The platforms that survive, the ones that earn repeat users across years and market cycles, do so because they made structural decisions that reduce risk rather than asking users to accept it.

If the criteria in this framework matter to you, non-custodial architecture, published compliance policies, operational longevity, and no mandatory identity collection, Godex is worth evaluating at godex.io.

But don’t take anyone’s word for it. Run the checklist. Do the work. That’s the whole point.

Deutsche Börse Acquires Kraken Stake in $200M Deal – Decrypt

Deutsche Börse Acquires Kraken Stake in 0M Deal – Decrypt

        In brief

Deutsche Börse has acquired a $200 million stake in Kraken’s parent company, valuing the crypto exchange at $13.3 billion.
The deal deepens a partnership spanning FX, custody, settlement, and tokenized assets.
An expert said the investment points to a wave of TradFi consolidation around crypto incumbents, with compliance increasingly becoming a competitive advantage.

Deutsche Börse AG’s $200 million bet on crypto exchange Kraken could change how traditional financial institutions stake their claim in digital assets, according to one expert.

The Frankfurt stock exchange operator has acquired a 1.5% fully diluted stake in Payward Inc., Kraken’s parent company, in a deal expected to close in the second quarter pending regulatory approval, according to a Bloomberg report.

Decrypt could not verify the claims at the time of publication and has reached out to both companies for comment.

The transaction values Kraken at roughly $13.3 billion, down from its $20 billion valuation during a November fundraising round, according to Bloomberg calculations.

“We’re seeing a clear wave of consolidation and partnerships as traditional financial institutions move to catch up with crypto, particularly around tokenized assets,” Ruchir Gupta, co-founder of Gyld Finance, told Decrypt.

“It’s hard for them to build out these businesses from scratch; therefore, they are investing in incumbents to gain an edge,” he added.

Deutsche Börse’s move follows that of Intercontinental Exchange, parent of the New York Stock Exchange, which invested roughly $200 million in crypto exchange OKX earlier this year in a deal valuing OKX at $25 billion.

“Large traditional players are under pressure to keep up with the momentum and regulatory clarity, and buying out stakes—especially in companies that are still private—is one of the easiest ways to do that,” Gupta told Decrypt.

“I see this as an important milestone for tokenized securities but also more broadly for the convergence of traditional markets and blockchain-based rails,” he said, adding that a Deutsche Börse endorsement opens doors for institutional clients who need that vote of confidence before engaging with a firm like Kraken.

        The partnership

The investment builds on a partnership the two firms announced in December, spanning FX liquidity, custody, settlement, collateral management, and tokenized assets.

Under that agreement, Kraken integrated directly with 360T, a Deutsche Börse subsidiary and one of the world’s largest foreign-exchange trading venues, giving Kraken clients access to bank-grade FX liquidity.

In February, the partnership reached its first milestone as xStocks launched on 360X, Deutsche Börse’s regulated trading venue, enabling trading of blockchain-based tokens representing real equities and ETFs, each backed 1:1 by underlying assets and held with licensed custodians.

        Public market push

Last November, Kraken confidentially filed for an IPO after raising $800 million at a $20 billion valuation, but the listing has since been put on hold, according to a CoinDesk report.

Meanwhile, KRAKacquisition Corp., a SPAC sponsored by a Kraken affiliate, completed a $345 million public offering in January and is hunting for an acquisition target valued as high as $10 billion.

“The market is clearly paying up for those and starting to realize there’s big changes afoot,” Ravi Tanuku, director at KRAKacquisition, told Decrypt last month, referencing investor appetite for firms tied to stablecoins and tokenization.

        Extortion threat

Kraken is also contending with a recent extortion attempt in which attackers claimed access to some customer data, with Chief Security Officer Nick Percoco stating the company will not engage with them and is working with law enforcement across jurisdictions.

Around 2,000 individuals potentially had their information viewed, Percoco said, with anyone at risk already contacted.

Most Comfortable Sneakers for Women: Top Picks for All-Day

Most Comfortable Sneakers for Women: Top Picks for All-Day

From Everyday Walkers to Luxury Kicks

This guide covers the most comfortable sneakers for women in 2026 across 15 categories — from all-day walking and plantar fasciitis to luxury picks and the year’s biggest trend, the sneakerina.

        Last updated: April 2026

Finding the most comfortable sneakers for women in 2026 isn’t just about cushioning anymore; it’s about choosing the right shoe for how you actually live and what matches your taste and lifestyle. Whether you’re on your feet for 12 hours, walking 20,000 steps while traveling, or investing in luxury sneakers that won’t destroy your arches, the wrong pick shows up fast—in your feet, knees, and energy levels.

If you read our men’s sneaker comfort guide, you already know we don’t do vague lists. This is the women’s version, built from the ground up to reflect how women’s feet actually work, what 2026’s sneaker landscape actually looks like, and what will genuinely keep you comfortable in all aspects of your profession, mood, physical health, and activity.

Chanel Purple/White Net And Fabric Lyrca Logo Trainers Sneakers

Here’s what makes this guide different: we’ve mapped every category to real search intent, incorporated podiatrist-backed recommendations for medical-adjacent needs, and covered the one trend that no other comfort guide is taking seriously yet, the sneakerina. More on that shortly.

        What’s New in Women’s Sneakers in 2026?

The sneaker world has matured in ways that directly benefit women.

Loewe x On Running Cloudtilt 2 Size 40 Green/White Mesh Low Top Sneakers

Comfort-driven brands like Hoka and On Running are now mainstream lifestyle staples.
The sneakerina: a ballet-flat-sneaker hybrid, has moved from runway novelty to the most versatile everyday shoe of the year.
And the outdated idea that you have to choose between comfort and style is officially dead.

Before the picks, a quick word on why this is a women’s-only guide and not just the men’s version with pink colorways.

Do Women Need Different Sneakers Than Men? Yes, Here’s Why

Balenciaga Speed Graffiti Size 38 Brown Knit Fabric High Top Sneakers
Balenciaga Speed Graffiti Size 38 Brown Knit Fabric High Top Sneakers

Women’s feet differ from men’s in ways that have direct implications for sneaker design:

Narrower heels relative to forefoot width: Women tend to have a more pronounced difference between heel and ball width, meaning shoes need to accommodate this taper
Higher incidence of plantar fasciitis: Women are statistically more prone to this condition than men, making arch support a non-negotiable priority.
Different weight distribution: Generally, lower body mass changes the cushioning requirements, particularly in the midsole.
More flexible ligaments: The ligament laxity that increases during pregnancy persists and affects long-term foot stability, making lateral support more critical.
Higher rates of bunions and wide forefoot issues: A wider toe box is usually more needed in women’s designs than in men’s.

Reputable brands don’t just scale down men’s sneakers and call them women’s. They re-engineer the last (the foot-shaped mold), adjust the arch position, soften or reformulate the midsole, and refine the heel counter. That’s why model-specific recommendations matter.

How to Choose the Most Comfortable Sneakers for Women?

Nike - Air White Leather and Nylon Force 1 Gore Tex High Winter GTX Phantom Sneakers

        The Comfort Checklist:

        Foot type first.

Before brand or model, understand your arch. Flat feet need motion control and structured arch support. High arches need extra cushioning and flexibility. Neutral arches have the most options. If you’re unsure, a quick wet test (wet your foot, step on a paper bag, check the imprint) gives you a rough answer.

        Activity match.

A standing-all-day shoe and a running shoe are engineered differently. Using the wrong one for the wrong purpose is the single most common source of foot fatigue and injury.

        Midsole technology.

In 2026, the materials to know are: supercritical foam (Hoka Bondi 9:ultra-soft, plush), Helion CloudTec (On Running: firm and responsive), ZoomX foam (Nike: lightweight energy return), Fresh Foam (New Balance: all-day cushioned comfort), and Boost foam (Adidas: springy, versatile).

Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL Size 40 Brown Suede Low Top Sneakers

        Width and toe box.

Standard widths frequently underserve women’s feet. If you’ve ever had your toes cramping by mid-afternoon, it’s likely a width issue, not a brand issue. Hoka, New Balance, and Brooks all offer wide options in their most popular women’s models.

        Heel drop.

This is the height difference between the shoe’s heel and toe. Lower drop (0–4mm) is better for natural foot movement and forefoot strikers. Higher drop (8–12mm) works better for heel strikers and those with Achilles or calf issues. Most everyday sneakers sit at 8–10mm.

        Sizing note.

Common Projects White Leather Achilles Low Top Sneakers Size 37
Common Projects White Leather Achilles Low Top Sneakers Size 37

European luxury brands (Golden Goose, Common Projects) run narrow and often small; size up half a size. On Running Cloudmonster 2 runs large: size down half. Hoka models generally benefit from going up half a size to allow for toe room, especially for wider feet.

Pro tip: Shop for sneakers in the late afternoon or evening when your feet are at their most swollen. This gives you the most accurate fit for all-day wear.

The table below gives you a quick glimpse at the good, better, and best options for your needs.

        #Everyday Comfort

        1. Most Comfortable Everyday Sneakers for Women

Key Needs: Versatile design, all-day comfort, transitions from casual to smart-casual

What’s trending in 2026: Low-profile, slim silhouettes have overtaken chunky maximalism for everyday wear. Off-white, cream, and vintage sail shades are replacing pure white. Retro runners with genuine comfort credentials are dominating.

        Top Picks:

Brooks Ghost Max 3: Their plush cushioning and stability do not feel bulky. They are the best sneakers to wear if you plan to stay active the whole day.
Adidas Samba: The Samba has officially settled into permanence as 2026’s most reliable everyday sneaker. Slim suede-and-leather build, iconic gum sole, low profile. Pairs with everything from wide-leg jeans to midi skirts. Note: runs narrow; size up half if you have wider feet.
Adidas SL 72: The breakout everyday sneaker of 2026. Originally designed for the 1972 Munich Olympics, its slim silhouette, nylon upper, and suede overlays are perfectly aligned with this year’s shift toward cleaner profiles, making it walkable all day, comfortable, and effortlessly stylish.
        Loewe x On Running Cloudsolo:

Loewe x On Running Cloudsolo Size 39 Blue Mesh Low Top Sneakers
Loewe x On Running Cloudsolo Size 39 Blue Mesh Low Top Sneakers

Where luxury fashion meets On Running’s CloudTec engineering. Unlike dedicated performance trainers, it is designed specifically for urban movement and all-day lifestyle wear. As a result, it delivers responsive cushioning in a silhouette refined by Loewe’s design house — making it the premium everyday option for women who want athletic comfort without the athletic aesthetic.

New Balance 9060 — Maximalism, refined. The exaggerated sole still makes a statement; however, the proportions now feel considered rather than novelty-driven. In particular, neutral colorways are especially strong this season. Overall, it has established itself as a contemporary staple that works equally well for casual and athleisure dressing.
Reebok Club C 85: The quiet classic. Step-in softness, a clean silhouette, and genuine versatility across outfit types—a reliable everyday pick at an accessible price point.
Nike Air Max 90: Iconic cushioned comfort that doesn’t ask you to compromise on style. Works from brunch to the airport to evening plans.

Nike Multicolor Leather and Suede Nike Air Max 90 SE Animal White Sneakers

Nike Multicolor Leather and Suede Nike Air Max 90 SE Animal White Sneakers

Bonus: Beyond everyday wear, these are also top picks for the best casual sneakers for women that transition naturally from day to evening.

Shop pre-owned: Even better, Golden Goose Superstar, Common Projects Achilles Low, and Veja Campo are all available authenticated and pre-owned at The Luxury Closet — the everyday luxury pick without the full retail price.

        2. Best Sneakers for Women Who Stand All Day (Nurses, Teachers)

Key Needs: 12-hour comfort, orthotic-level cushioning, breathable uppers, non-slip outsoles, arch support

This is one of the highest-volume search categories for women’s sneakers, driven by nurses, teachers, healthcare workers, retail staff, and hospitality professionals. The stakes are real: the wrong shoe here contributes to plantar fasciitis, knee pain, and chronic fatigue. For that reason, podiatrist-recommended picks are prioritized throughout this section.

        Top Picks:

Hoka Bondi 9 (2026 update): Upgraded from the Bondi 8 with supercritical foam for an ultra-plush, cloud-like feel. In addition, the 43mm heel stack height and wide options make it one of the most accommodating choices available. Rocker soles promote a smooth gait and reduce joint stress during prolonged standing. As a result, it is consistently rated the #1 shoe for 12-hour shifts by nurses. Note: size up half a size.
Hoka Clifton 10: The Clifton 9’s successor, slightly lighter but with the same signature cushioning. It is APMA-sealed and, according to podiatrists, doesn’t exacerbate plantar fasciitis even during 10-hour days. Furthermore, it has become a personal pick for multiple Yahoo editors who wear it through full working days.
New Balance 990v6: Made in the USA with FuelCell cushioning and an ENCAP stability rim, this shoe is lab-tested with a 102 SA shock-absorption score. It is available in wide widths and, importantly, looks polished enough to wear off-shift — a key consideration for women transitioning from work to everyday life.
Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25 (2026 update from GTS 23): Built-in GuideRails technology supports natural foot movement, which is critical for those standing on hard floors all day. In fact, one nurse practitioner describes it as “essential for arch support on all-day shifts.” However, some reviewers find the GTS 25 runs slightly roomier than the 24, so consider sizing down half a size.
ASICS Gel-Kayano 31: Stability-focused with a 4D Guidance System and GEL cushioning. Specifically, it excels for overpronators who stand all day and need reliable arch correction without added bulk.
Skechers Go Walk 7: The best budget option in this category. While it is not as structured as the others, it delivers exceptional comfort-per-dollar for standing wear and is lightweight, responsive, and machine washable.
Hoka Bondi SR: The slip-resistant version of the Bondi, specifically engineered for healthcare environments with polished tile floors. Therefore, if you work in a hospital or kitchen, this is the one to choose.

Podiatrist note: For standing-intensive professions, look for heel cup depth, midsole firmness (since too soft leads to instability over time), rocker geometry, and non-slip outsoles. All picks above meet these criteria.

Bonus Attribute: Ideal for nurses, teachers, healthcare workers, retail staff, and anyone seeking the best shoes for all-day standing.

        3. Most Comfortable Walking Sneakers for Women

Key Needs: Superior arch support, shock absorption, multi-surface adaptability, all-day flexibility

        Top Picks:

ASICS Gel-Nimbus 26: Marathon-grade cushioning for city explorers. Lightweight mesh upper, exceptional shock absorption. One of the most breathable options in this category.
Skechers Arch Fit 2.0: The best budget walking sneaker of 2026. Podiatrist-developed arch support, memory foam insole, lightweight build. Remarkable value for daily walkers who don’t want to spend over $100.

Bonus Attribute: Top picks for women’s summer walking shoes that combine performance with elegance, and work with outfits, not just gym kit.

        4. Most Comfortable Sneakers for Women Traveling

Key Needs: Lightweight, all-day cushioning, versatile enough for city touring and airport runs, packable

        Top Picks:

On Cloud 5: Ultralight and supportive, the On Cloud 5 is the go-to airport sneaker for women who want something that doesn’t look athletic but performs like one. CloudTec cushioning absorbs the impact of hard terminal floors.
New Balance 990v4: Premium suede and mesh construction, cushioned enough for sightseeing marathons, polished enough to wear with chinos or a dress at dinner. The gold standard for travel comfort and versatility.
Hoka Clifton 10: Hoka Clifton 10: Bulkier than most, but ideal for 15,000+ daily steps. The cushioning investment pays off by day three.
Adidas Samba: For the traveler who prioritizes looking put together. Pairs with virtually every outfit, packs flat, and is comfortable enough for moderate walking days.
On Cloudnova: Sleek and responsive. Transitions seamlessly from airport terminals to evening restaurant walks—a 2026 standout for women who want performance comfort in a lifestyle silhouette.
        Nike Air Max 90:

Nike Black/White Leather and Suede Air Max 90 Safari Sneakers
Nike Black/White Leather and Suede Air Max 90 Safari Sneaker

The trusted classic. Dependable cushioning, retro styling that works from day to evening, and widely available in neutral colorways that travel easily with a capsule wardrobe.

Bonus Attributes: Lightweight build, breathable uppers, versatile colorways that pair with multiple outfits.

        5. Most Comfortable Sneakers for Trekking and Hiking

Key Needs: Rugged traction, ankle protection, waterproofing, and durable build.

        Top Picks:

Salomon XT-6: The defining hiking-to-lifestyle crossover of 2026. Originally built for ultramarathons, the XT-6 has become the “cool girl” everyday sneaker of the season while remaining technically outstanding on varied terrain: quicklace system, ACS cushioning, earthy colorways.
Hoka Anacapa Breeze Low: Inspired by Hoka’s hiking boots, constructed from waterproof leather, for women who want serious trail capability without the heavy, clunky silhouette.
Merrell Moab Speed GTX: A time-tested favorite. Breathable, grippy, waterproof. The reliable choice for women who actually hike rather than wear trail-adjacent footwear.
Adidas Terrex Swift R3 GTX: Optimal stability and traction on unpredictable terrain. Lightweight for a hiking shoe, with GTX waterproofing for all-weather use.

        #Comfortable Sneakers for Specialized Needs

        9. Best Sneakers for Women with Plantar Fasciitis

Key Needs: Deep heel cupping, structured arch support, firm cushioning, shock absorption, secure heel counter

Plantar fasciitis affects women at higher rates than men. The stabbing heel pain, which is worst with the first steps of the morning, is directly influenced by footwear. These picks are podiatrist-recommended and consistently cited in clinical and professional nursing sources.

        Top Picks:

Brooks Ghost 17: “Great arch support, essential for those on feet all day” (nurse practitioner recommendation). 6mm drop allows natural toe splay. Available in narrow through extra-wide. Balanced soft cushioning absorbs stress on the plantar fascia.

Important note: If plantar fasciitis pain is severe or persistent, consult a podiatrist. Supportive footwear significantly aids recovery and prevention, but a medical assessment provides a complete picture of treatment.

        10. Best Sneakers for Women with Arch Support Needs

Key Needs: Targeted orthotic support, stability features, motion control for overpronation

        Top Picks:

        11. Most Comfortable Sneakers for Women with Wide Feet

        Top Picks:

ASICS GT-2160: Lab-verified widest interior among comfortable sneakers (97mm at broadest point, 4.5mm wider than average). Accommodates bunions. Above-average stack height with gentle cushioning. Breathability rated 5/5 in testing.

        #The 2026 Trends You Can’t Ignore

        12. Sneakerina: The Biggest Women’s Sneaker Trend of 2026

        What it is:

A hybrid between a sneaker and a ballet flat; slim, low-profile, close-to-the-ground, often with elastic bands or ribbon-style laces instead of traditional shoelaces. It appeared on the Spring/Summer 2026 runways at Louis Vuitton and Simone Rocha, and has since filtered down to every price point.

Why it’s in a comfort guide:

Sneakerinas are genuinely comfortable for moderate daily wear. The flat, flexible sole and lightweight build make them excellent for commuting, office-to-dinner transitions, and city walking. They’re not performance shoes, but for women who want comfort without the athletic-shoe look, they’re among the most wearable innovations of 2026.

        Top Picks:

Puma Speedcat Ballet: The celebrity-approved sneakerina of 2026. Worn by Dua Lipa and Rosé of Blackpink. Motorsport DNA meets ballet-flat silhouette. Suede or leather upper, elastic bands for a snug fit, grippy rubber outsole. “Surprisingly supportive and stable for a sneakerina” (Who What Wear review). Size up for wider feet; size up in metallic versions. Available in suede, leather, and limited deer-print collaborations.
Adidas Samba Jane: Reimagines the classic Samba with a Mary Jane ballet-flat influence. Samba’s signature serrated 3-stripes and gum rubber outsole remain, softened with a feminine strap. Exceptional versatility: pairs with everything from denim to dresses.
Nike Air Rift: The tabi-inspired split-toe sneakerina that divides opinion but delivers comfort for those with natural toe splay. More wearable than the pure tabi thanks to the casual construction.
Vivaia Square-Toe Lace-Up Satin Sneakerina: For the sneakerina purist. True ballerina feel with optional ribbon laces. Machine washable. Stretchy knit versions accommodate bunions and wider forefeet.
UGG Sneakerina (suede): Sheepskin-lined interior with supportive rubber sole. The most comfort-maximized sneakerina on the market. An excellent option for women who want the trend without sacrificing any warmth or support.

Style note: Sneakerinas pair naturally with midi dresses, wide-leg trousers, and flowing skirts for a polished yet effortless look. They work with structured blazers for office dressing and with oversized graphic tees for off-duty style.

        13. Best Sneakers for Women Over 40

Key Needs: Joint protection, stability, cushioning, style that doesn’t look medical

This is a massively underserved search category with high purchase intent. Women over 40 often face increased foot issues: fallen arches, an increased risk of plantar fasciitis, joint sensitivity, and a strong preference not to wear shoes that look orthopedic.

        Top Picks:

Hoka Bondi 9:The first choice of women over 40 who want maximum cushioning without the dad-shoe aesthetic. Supercritical foam absorbs the joint impact that matters more as we age. Wide options available.
Brooks Glycerin 22:Plush DNA cushioning, smooth ride, available in multiple widths. One of the most recommended shoes for women over 40 by podiatrists and fitness professionals.
New Balance 990v6:Heritage styling that actually looks like a deliberate fashion choice, not a medical necessity. Premium suede and mesh construction with serious stability credentials.
On Cloudtilt: For women over 40 who want comfort without athletic bulk. Slim, ergonomic, responsive. Looks like a fashion sneaker, performs like a support shoe.
ASICS Gel-Kayano 31:The arch and stability support that genuinely makes a difference for women whose feet have changed with age. The 4D Guidance System does the corrective work, so the shoe doesn’t have to look corrective.
Vionic Walk 2.0:APMA-approved, podiatrist-designed, available in multiple widths. Clean enough to wear with smart-casual outfits without drawing attention to itself.

        #Style and Luxury

        14. Best Luxury Sneakers for Women in 2026

Maison Martin Margiela X Reebok Black Leather Tabi High Top Sneakers
Maison Martin Margiela X Reebok Black Leather Tabi High Top Sneakers

Key Needs: Artisan craftsmanship, premium materials, comfort for daily wear, investment value

Luxury sneakers in 2026 are leaning toward cleaner, slimmer silhouettes: the Air sneaker trend from Spring/Summer runways at Celine, Prada, and Fendi is influencing luxury footwear design. Alongside classic luxury picks, the market is embracing slim, architectural comfort.

Prada Sport Multicolor Fabric And Patent Leather Low Top Sneakers
Prada Sport Multicolor Fabric And Patent Leather Low Top Sneakers

        Top Picks:

Golden Goose Superstar: The definitive luxury everyday sneaker. Slightly wider fit makes it comfortable for casual wear. Soft padding and premium leather that molds over time. Better comfort and support than Common Projects for all-day wear. The distressed aesthetic is intentional; each pair is unique. Available in a staggering array of colorways and embellishments. Size up half (Golden Goose runs small).
Common Projects Achilles Low: The minimalist’s luxury sneaker. Hand-stitched Italian leather, gold-stamped serial number as the only branding. Clean, architectural, timeless. Runs narrow and stiff initially; a break-in period is required, but the leather molds beautifully. If your style is classic and understated, this is the investment.
Gucci Ace: Iconic branding, leather construction, comfortable for moderate daily wear. Pairs well with tailored trousers and relaxed denim.
        Balenciaga Triple S:

Balenciaga Multicolor Leather and Mesh Triple S Sneakers
Balenciaga Multicolor Leather and Mesh Triple S Sneakers

For women who want a statement. Boldly expressive, enduringly plush. The chunky sole provides genuine cushioning: this is not just a fashion shoe.

Veja Campo: The entry point to conscious luxury. Made in Brazil with sustainable materials. Comfortable, ethically produced, and widely respected in fashion circles. Less expensive than Golden Goose but with genuine luxury credentials. Note: Veja runs stiffly initially; break it in before a long walking day.
Axel Arigato Clean 90:A strong 2026 addition to the luxury everyday category. Mid-tier pricing between Veja and Common Projects. Clean minimalist aesthetic with a comfortable, leather-lined interior.

All of these luxury picks are available pre-owned and authenticated at The Luxury Closet. A pre-owned pair of Golden Goose Superstar at $180–$280 represents significantly better value than retail ($500+) while delivering the same quality, craftsmanship, and style.

Bonus: These are consistently the top pre-owned luxury items searched by women who want comfort without compromising their aesthetic.

        15. Best Vegan and Eco-Friendly Sneakers for Women

Key Needs: Cruelty-free materials, sustainable production, uncompromised comfort, and durability

In 2026, sustainable sneakers are no longer a niche compromise. The best eco-conscious options now use recycled nylon, bio-based foams, sugarcane rubber, and plant-derived leather alternatives without sacrificing comfort or style.

        Top Picks:

Allbirds Tree Dasher 2: Athletic-grade construction in eucalyptus tree fiber. Breathable, lightweight, and genuinely comfortable for everyday and light running use. One of the most cited sustainable sneakers globally.
Veja Condor 2: Transparent supply chain, sustainable materials, stylish performance runner. A favorite among environmentally conscious runners who don’t want to sacrifice aesthetics.
Yeezy x Adidas Foam RNR MX Granite:

Yeezy x Adidas Foam RNR MX Granite Size 46 Grey Rubber Slip On Sneakers
Yeezy x Adidas Foam RNR MX Granite Size 46 Grey Rubber Slip On Sneakers

Sculpted entirely from algae-based EVA foam with no animal-derived materials anywhere in its construction. The MX Granite colorway offers a versatile marbled grey finish. Soft, lightweight, and cushioned for low-impact daily wear. Available pre-owned at TLC in Size 46 EU — approx. US Women’s 12.5–13.

Adidas Stan Smith Mylo: Made from Mylo, a mushroom-based leather alternative. The Stan Smith silhouette in a genuinely cruelty-free construction. Clean, minimal, incredibly versatile.
Adidas x Stella McCartney Loop: Cutting-edge design meets circular economy principles. Designed to be returned and recycled at the end of life.
Rothy’s The Sneaker: Made from recycled plastic bottles with a knit construction that’s comfortable, machine-washable, and surprisingly durable. Excellent for women who want a vegan everyday sneaker that also looks polished.

2026 Eco Trend: Knitted uppers, breathable builds, minimal profiles, recycled nylon, and eco rubber are the defining materials of sustainable sneakers this year. The ethos is pared-back minimalism you can wear all day.

Bonus: Leaders in eco-conscious, cruelty-free women’s sneakers that hold up to daily wear.

2026 Women’s Sneaker Trends: What’s Shaping Comfort Right Now

Loewe Ballet Runner 2.0 Size 40 Grey/Blue Fabric and Nylon Lace Up Sneakers
Loewe Ballet Runner 2.0 Size 40 Grey/Blue Fabric and Nylon Lace Up Sneakers

Sneakerinas are the story of the year: The ballet-flat-sneaker hybrid moved from runway novelty to mainstream must-have within months of 2026 beginning. Slim, low-profile trainers that look like ballet flats but feel like cushioned sneakers:

Low-profile, slim silhouettes dominate: The era of extreme platform and chunky maximalism is softening. The Adidas SL 72, Nike Air sneakers (from the SS26 runway), and clean white leather options are leading the charge toward more refined, versatile everyday footwear.

Comfort brands are mainstream lifestyle brands. Hoka and On Running are no longer performance-only; they’re cultural staples with strong fashion credibility. This matters for women who previously felt they had to choose between looking good and feeling good.

Retro runners with real comfort credentials are everywhere. The ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 in silver, the New Balance 990 series, and the Adidas SL 72 all carry genuine performance engineering alongside their retro aesthetic. They signal taste rather than trend-chasing.

Sustainability is expected. The leading women’s sneaker brands are building sustainable practices into their standard lines, not just limited editions. Consumer expectations have shifted; eco-conscious is now table stakes, not a differentiator.

Sneakers for Women: Comfort is not a Luxury, but a Necessity.

Stella McCartney x Adidas Black Knit Fabric Ultraboost X 3D Slip On Sneakers
Stella McCartney x Adidas Black Knit Fabric Ultraboost X 3D Slip On Sneakers

Comfort isn’t optional, and it’s definitely not ugly. The best sneakers don’t just support your feet; they support how you live. Gone are the days when comfortable shoes and beautiful shoes lived in separate closets. Today, the most stylish women’s sneakers are also the most thoughtfully engineered, from the supercritical foam of the Hoka Bondi 9 to the hand-stitched Italian leather of Common Projects, from the motorsport DNA of the Puma Speedcat Ballet to the trail-tested grip of the Salomon XT-6.

The trick, as always, is matching the shoe to what you actually need. Use the category guide above to find your entry point; then trust the picks.

        Frequently Asked Questions

What are the most comfortable sneakers for women in 2026?

The most comfortable everyday sneaker for women in 2026 is broadly agreed to be the Hoka Bondi 9 and Brooks Ghost Max 3, which top 2026 lists, thanks to maximum plush cushioning, rockered soles, and wide bases that reduce fatigue on hard floors. Then there is the New Balance 990v6 for stability and all-day support, and the Adidas Samba or SL 72 for stylish everyday wear. The best choice depends on your activity; see the category guide above.

What brand of women’s shoes are most comfortable?

Hoka leads for ultra-plush max cushioning, Brooks for balanced all-day support (especially the Ghost Max 3 and Glycerin lines), and On for a lightweight CloudTec feel.

What are the best sneakers for women who stand all day?

Top choices for women standing 8–12 hours include the Hoka Bondi 9 (supercritical foam, widest comfort margin), Hoka Clifton 10 (APMA-approved, podiatrist-recommended), Brooks Ghost 17 (arch support and non-slip grip), and New Balance 990v6 (stability and cushioning in a versatile silhouette). For healthcare workers specifically, the Hoka Bondi SR adds slip-resistant outsoles for hospital floors.

What is a sneakerina, and are they comfortable?

A sneakerina is a hybrid between a sneaker and a ballet flat: slim, low-profile, with elastic bands or ribbon laces instead of traditional shoelaces. They’re genuinely comfortable for moderate daily wear, commuting, and office-to-dinner transitions. The Puma Speedcat Ballet is the most reviewed and widely praised sneakerina of 2026, with celebrity endorsement from Dua Lipa and Rosé of Blackpink. That said, sneakerinas are not performance shoes; for serious walking or standing, opt for a standard comfort pick.

What sneakers are best for women with plantar fasciitis?

The Brooks Ghost 17, Vionic 23Walk 2.0, Hoka Clifton 10, and Orthofeet Sprint are the top podiatrist-recommended options. Key features to look for: deep heel cup, structured arch support, firm (not overly soft) midsole, and a secure heel counter. Avoid flat, unsupported sneakers; they significantly worsen plantar fasciitis.

Are luxury sneakers comfortable enough for all-day wear?

It depends on the brand. Golden Goose (wider fit, soft padding) and Balenciaga Triple S (genuinely cushioned sole) are among the most comfortable luxury options for daily wear. Common Projects and Veja require break-in time, but mold beautifully to the foot. For genuine all-day comfort on 10,000+ step days, pair a luxury sneaker with a quality insole, or reserve them for lighter activity days.

How do women’s sneakers differ from men’s in terms of sizing?

Women’s sneakers are built on a different last (foot mold), accounting for narrower heels relative to forefoot width, generally softer ligament structure, and different arch positioning. Don’t assume you can simply convert a men’s size to a women’s; the fit and support architecture differ. European luxury brands (Golden Goose, Common Projects) run small and narrow; size up half. On Running Cloudmonster 2, runs large for women; size down half a size. Hoka generally benefits from going up half a size to accommodate toe room.

What are the best sustainable sneakers for women in 2026?

Allbirds Tree Dasher 2 (eucalyptus fiber), Veja Condor 2 (sustainable Brazilian production), Adidas Stan Smith Mylo (mushroom leather), and Rothy’s The Sneaker (recycled plastic bottles) are the leaders. In 2026, sustainable sneakers no longer require comfort compromises; the best eco options are among the most stylish and durable picks across categories.

What sneakers are best for women over 40?

Women over 40 typically benefit most from maximum cushioning (Hoka Bondi 9), structured arch support (ASICS Gel-Kayano 31, Brooks Glycerin 22), and stability features (New Balance 990v6, Hoka Arahi 7). The key is finding shoes that provide medical-grade support in a design that doesn’t look medical; all of the above achieve this.

What luxury sneaker has the best resale value for women?

Golden Goose consistently holds value best in the pre-owned luxury sneaker market, particularly the Superstar and Ball Star models. Common Projects Achilles Low and Gucci Ace also retain strong resale value. Authenticated pre-owned options at The Luxury Closet offer the same quality at a significantly reduced cost, often 40–60% below retail.

How often should women replace their sneakers?

Most sneakers wear out after 300–500 miles of use. For nurses and other healthcare workers who are on their feet all day, this can mean replacing them every 6 months.

Signs it’s time: reduced cushioning sensation underfoot, visible midsole compression, uneven outsole wear, or the return of foot fatigue that the shoes previously prevented.

Are Hoka shoes good for women with wide feet?

Yes, the Hoka Bondi 9 and Clifton 10 both offer wide options and feature a broader-than-average toe box. The Bondi 9’s padded collar and tongue provide comfort without compressing wider feet. Note: Hoka’s standard fit generally benefits from sizing up half a size, especially for wide-foot wearers.

What’s the difference between the Hoka Bondi 9 and the On Cloudmonster 2 for women?

Both are max-cushion picks, but they feel completely different. The Bondi 9 uses supercritical foam for an ultra-soft, plush, cloud-like feel; best for women who want maximum comfort and shock absorption. The Cloudmonster 2 uses Helion foam with CloudTec pods for a firmer, more responsive, energetic stride; best for women who want bounce and performance alongside cushioning. Bondi 9 for comfort; Cloudmonster 2 for performance-comfort. The Cloudmonster 2 runs large: size down half.

Where can I buy the most comfortable women’s sneakers in Dubai?

Dubai offers excellent sneaker shopping across The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and City Center Mirdif, with retailers like Foot Locker and Sun & Sand Sports stocking comfort-focused brands such as Hoka, Brooks, New Balance, and On.

For luxury options, Level Shoes carries brands like Gucci and Balenciaga. For better value, The Luxury Closet offers authenticated pre-owned pairs with fast delivery in the UAE.

What are the most comfortable sneakers for women in Dubai’s heat and humidity?

Prioritize breathable, lightweight sneakers. Mesh or knit uppers—seen in models like the Hoka Clifton line, On Cloud series, and Adidas retro runners—help reduce heat buildup.

Avoid heavy leather for daily outdoor use. For indoor settings like malls and offices, cushioned options from New Balance and Brooks provide better all-day comfort on hard floors.

Are luxury sneakers worth buying pre-owned in the UAE?

Yes—pre-owned luxury sneakers offer significant savings (often 40–60% below retail) with similar quality. Platforms like The Luxury Closet provide authenticated pairs from brands such as Golden Goose, Common Projects, and Gucci.

With fast delivery, verified authenticity, and competitive pricing, resale is often the most practical option for UAE residents.

Venezuela Fury baffles fans with her accent as she stars in At Home With The Furys

At Home With The Furys is back with a brand new series and it is as chaotic as ever, but viewers are all asking the same question after hearing Venezuela Fury speak on screen.

Fans have been left confused after noticing what they believe sounds like an “Irish” accent from the 16-year-old in the Netflix series.

Venezuela is the eldest child of Paris and Tyson Fury and is already being tipped for a future as an online influencer.

Venezeula Fury has confused fans with her ‘Irish’ accent at At Home With The Furys (Credit: Netflix)

In the opening episode, she is shown at home looking after her younger siblings while her parents are away.

Venezuela is supported by Paris’ mum, but she still takes charge of cooking dinner and keeping the household running.

However, it is her voice that quickly gets people talking as soon as she speaks.

Why does Venezuela Fury sound ‘Irish’ in At Home With The Furys?

Venezuela was 15 when filming took place for the second series of the Netflix show.

She turned 16 during filming and also got engaged to her boyfriend Noah Price on camera.

During the episode, she speaks about caring for her younger siblings and opens up about wanting a family of her own one day.

“It isn’t hard watching my little brothers and sisters really. Controlling them is, but actually watching them ain’t,” she says.

“I would like to have my own children hopefully at one point. I think every girl my age wants a family and a husband and a nice home.”

But viewers quickly took to X to question her accent, with many convinced they could hear an Irish twang.

“When did Venezuela pick up an Irish accent??” one fan asked.

Another replied: “I was thinking the same thing!”

Someone else added: “Think it comes out when she’s [bleep-ed] off!”

What is behind Venezuela Fury’s accent?

Despite the online reaction, Irish viewers have pushed back on claims that her accent is fully Irish, saying it does not sound purely Irish at all.

In reality, Venezuela appears to speak with a northern English accent that carries a slight Irish influence.

This is likely linked to her family background and close ties to Irish Traveller heritage within the Fury family.

John Fury, her paternal grandfather, was born in Galway, Ireland, before moving to Manchester as a child.

Paris Fury also comes from an Irish Traveller background, though she was raised in England.

Venezuela and her siblings are therefore deeply connected to both their Irish Traveller roots and their life in the UK.

The combination of family influence and close community ties is thought to explain the small Irish sounding element viewers have picked up on.

In simple terms, it is just part of her natural mix of influences coming through in how she speaks.

Deutsche Börse Takes 1.5% Stake in Kraken Through $200M Deal

Deutsche Börse Takes 1.5% Stake in Kraken Through 0M Deal

          Key Highlights

Deutsche Börse AG acquired a 1.5% stake in Payward Inc. through a $200M investment.

The deal values Kraken at around $13.3B, down from its previous $20B valuation.

The partnership aims to build a hybrid financial system combining traditional and tokenized assets.

Germany’s largest stock exchange operator, Deutsche Börse AG, has invested $200 million in Payward Inc., the parent company of crypto exchange Kraken, acquiring a 1.5% fully diluted stake that values the exchange at roughly $13.3 billion.

As reported by Bloomberg, the valuation marks a roughly 33% markdown from the $20 billion Kraken commanded in its November 2024 funding round, reflecting broader pressure on crypto-exchange valuations since bitcoin’s October 2025 peak. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approval.

Strengthening traditional finance and crypto integration

The deal deepens a commercial partnership first announced in December 2025 and fits a growing pattern of legacy exchange operators taking equity positions in crypto platforms. In early 2026, Intercontinental Exchange Inc. (ICE) — owner of the New York Stock Exchange — made a similarly sized $200 million investment in crypto exchange OKX.

Thomas Book, a member of Deutsche Börse’s management board, described Kraken as a central partner in building what he called a “fully hybrid market infrastructure” that combines traditional and tokenized assets within a single integrated system.

“Irrespective of what is now the form of an asset — whether it’s tokenized or fully digital — we want to create one integrated value chain,” Book said.

          Kraken eyes public listing

Kraken, one of the longest-standing crypto exchanges, has been actively expanding its institutional footprint. The company filed confidentially for a U.S. IPO in November and raised $800 million in the same month, at a $20 billion valuation.

It has also made regulatory strides, becoming the first crypto firm to gain access to the Federal Reserve’s core payments system in March. In Europe, Kraken launched MiFID-regulated crypto derivatives last year, signaling its intent to operate within established financial frameworks.

          Expanding blockchain-based infrastructure

Deutsche Börse has been quietly building out its own blockchain stack. Its Clearstream post-trade unit launched a platform for trading tokenized securities in November 2025, followed a month later by the integration of Kraken into 360T, Deutsche Börse’s FX trading platform.

The $200 million investment cements what had been a commercial partnership into a capital relationship, giving Deutsche Börse both equity exposure and a deeper operational tie to one of the most established names in crypto.

          Market headwinds and security concerns

The investment comes against a difficult market backdrop. Bitcoin is trading roughly 40% below its October 2025 peak, and exchange revenues across the sector have contracted alongside falling trading volumes. Rival exchange Gemini has reportedly approached investors for fresh capital after scaling back operations, according to industry reports.

Security risks also remain front and center. Kraken recently disclosed an attempted extortion attack by a criminal group that claimed to have obtained certain client account data. The exchange said no customer funds were compromised and declined to pay the ransom.

          What to watch next

The deal is another data point in a rapidly shortening list of distinctions between traditional finance and crypto — a trend accelerated by the European Union’s MiCA framework and growing regulatory clarity in the United States. For Kraken, the Deutsche Börse investment delivers both capital and legitimacy ahead of its anticipated public listing. For Deutsche Börse, it secures a foothold in a market segment that several of its European peers have been slower to embrace.

Key milestones now include regulatory approval of the stake, expected in the second quarter of 2026; further disclosures on Kraken’s IPO timeline; and whether other European exchange operators — notably Euronext and the London Stock Exchange Group — respond with their own crypto-infrastructure investments.
