Later, we saw a flashback of Kit taking a huge swig from the bottle one night in a dark, empty pub.
Daisy confronted Kit after she learned that he lied about the bottle from Jenny. But one step ahead, Kit blamed it on his grief from Paul’s death. Daisy comforted him.
Afterwards, Kit tried to place blame on Lisa Swain, after the police discovered a message she wrote out and deleted. In it, she threatened to end Joel if he didn’t stay out of Betsy’s life.
Kit maintained the red car lead was a dead end. But this didn’t seem quite true, after a flashback showed him driving erratically before spotting Joel and pulling over (smashing a wing mirror in the process).
It appears Kit is still keen on framing Lisa, as he told Daisy he can prove her guilt. Could it be a cover up for his own crime?

After some reassurance he’s a “good guy,” we saw him approach Joel. In the dramatic flashback showdown, he manhandled a beaten-up Joel.
He warned Kit he shouldn’t act, because Joel knew that Kit had planted false evidence to frame Nathan Curtis. Kit tried to play him, but Joel reminded him Nathan was his client.
In the end, Joel got back in his car after Kit was left unsure about whether his alibi would hold up to the police.
So Joel got away… or did he?
We haven’t seen Joel’s murder yet, so who’s to say Kit didn’t follow Joel and kill him after this threats? The motive is certainly there. We know Kit is no stranger to bending the rules to get what he wants, as we saw with Daisy.
But we still have suspicions from other characters. It could have been Dee-Dee, Lauren, Lisa, or even Betsy.
We saw Dee-Dee approaching Joel’s car with a crowbar, but she stopped. Could she have spotted Kit, which made her rethink her actions? Or did she swing the final blow?
Plus Lisa is hiding bruises which she said were caused by a car accident. Could it have been Kit who mowed her down? Perhaps she was in his way when he was pursuing Joel…
Kit is hiding something, that’s for sure… But, did he kill Joel? And if not… then who did?

One of the most unexpected pieces of news that greeted people on the morning of Monday, November 4, 2024, was the shocking $ex scandal surrounding Baltasar Engonga, the current Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF) in Equatorial Guinea.
In the various tapes circulating online, Engonga is seen having $exual intercourse with various married women, including his brother’s wife, cousin, the Director General of Police’s wife, about 20 of the country’s ministers’ wives, and a sister of the President of Equatorial Guinea.
According to reports, the 400 $ex tapes were retrieved during an investigation of the official for alleged fraud and released online to the general public.
The scandal emerged in the course of a fraud investigation against the 54-year-old Economist which resulted in the search of his house and office on impromptu notice by ANIF officials who came across several CDs that later revealed his $excapades with different married women.
The videos reportedly include encounters with high-profile individuals, such as his brother’s wife, his cousin, the sister of the President of Equatorial Guinea, the director general of Police’s wife, and about 20 of the country’s ministers’ wives, among others.
The footage, discovered in his personal office, was said to have been recorded with consent and has since been le@ked online, causing a media uproar.

The report read, “The most striking thing is that some scenes took place in his work office, including moments in which he is seen sleeping with a woman next to the National Flag. Based on this $exual scandal, the executive has stated that the measure is a direct response to the acts that have affected the image of the country.
“With these new measures, the Government hopes to establish a clear precedent on the expected conduct of public officials in order to create a more respectful work environment in the public and private administration of Equatorial Guinea. For days now, erotic videos have been circulating on social media featuring Baltasar EBANG ENGONGA, better known as “Bello”, who is currently the director general of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF) and is currently imprisoned for alleged corruption issues.
“Baltasar EBANG ENGONGA is said to have filmed these scenes with the consent of the women themselves, which exonerates him from a possible crime of violation of integrity. In the videos, he is seen having unprotected s£x with several women, including those married to powerful and well-known people in the country, but also with the most “diva and influential” single women in Equatorial Guinea. Some scenes take place in hotel rooms, houses, even in the protagonist’s office at the Ministry of Finance,” it added.
However, speaking on the viral s£xtapes, the Attorney General of the country, Nzang Nguema, has stressed that, although the images suggest that the women involved were not forced to participate, the law does not consider consensual s£xual relations to be a crime, unless coercion or violence is proven. This highlights the importance of victims reporting situations of s£xual abuse or assault.
Nguema also emphasised that the risk is not only for the women involved but also for their partners and the wider community, adding, “The possibility of a contagious disease being spread through these s£xual interactions makes the situation even more critical.
He further pointed out that the onus is on victims to come forward in cases of rape or assault, highlighting the need for an environment where people feel safe and supported to report such incidents.
Reacting to the development on Monday, Equatorial Guinea has decided to take action by immediately suspending all officials who have had s£xual relations in the offices of the country’s ministries.
The government claimed that the decision was part of its “zero tolerance” policy towards behaviour that compromises the integrity of the public service.
The Vice President of the Republic, Nguema Mangue, has pointed out that these behaviours constitute a flagrant violation of the Code of Conduct and the Public Ethics Law.
In his publication on X, he emphasized that “ethics and respect are fundamental in our Administration,” and that irresponsible attitudes that put citizen trust at risk will not be allowed.

Amy Dowden has had to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing for the rest of the series following an injury.

Now, Strictly has issued a new statement. They revealed that Amy has suffered a foot injury.
In an emotional message, Amy has said her “heart is breaking” over the news.

The statement read: “Sadly, Amy Dowden MBE will not be partaking in the rest of the competition this year. Whilst Amy focuses on her recovery following a foot injury, fellow Professional Dancer, Lauren Oakley, will step in as JB’s dance partner.
“The health and wellbeing of everyone involved in Strictly are always the utmost priority. The whole Strictly family sends Amy love and well wishes.”
On her Instagram, Amy said: “My heart is breaking right now. The past few months I finally felt like me again. Cancer was no longer the first thing I thought of when I woke up.
“It was choreography, music choices, which dances in which order, what we needed to work on. I felt free again. My goal since hearing those words you have cancer was to get back on the Strictly dance floor. It’s been such a challenge to get back on, one I devoted 2024 to.
“There was no feeling like dancing with my Strictly family. Then I was partnered with the talented, kind, gentle soul JB.
Amy’s statement
“Every day our training room was chilled, hardworking, and full of big smiles.”
Amy said she feels “so sad, so upset and asking why me”. She added: “Why now that our journey has been cut short? My heart right now is breaking having to pull out of the competition due to a foot injury.
“I know only too well ‘this too shall pass’ and I’ll be soon better and back dancing. Something I’ve had to get used to in my life. I’m sure at some point we will dance again JB. To all the fans, to my loved ones, my Strictly family, thank you.
“JB I know you and Lauren will continue to ace that dance floor. I’ll forever be your biggest cheerleader.”
It comes after Amy missed last weekend’s show due to her health ordeal.

The previous Saturday (October 26), Amy was taken to hospital after she became unwell following the live show.
After the ordeal, a Strictly spokesperson said: “Amy Dowden MBE is doing much better and the Strictly family send her love and wish her well.

JB and Lauren bagged an incredible 39 points out of 40 for their Couple’s Choice routine. Following the routine, Amy gushed on Instagram: “So proud thank you all for voting! But mostly so proud of you both and forever grateful! @jbgill @laurenmayoakley week 8 woooooohooooooo!!!”
