Endless Toil is a new GitHub plugin that plays escalating human groans as your AI agent reads increasingly cursed code in real time.
It joins a growing tradition of making tech emit moaning sounds, from the ThinkPad nubmoan project to SlapMac, which made $5,000 in three days by letting you slap your MacBook until it screams.
The internet’s obsession with making AI suffer—from moan-inducing jailbreaks to tutorials on making ChatGPT visibly angry—is, apparently, a whole genre now.
Someone finally did it. A developer named Andrew Vos published a GitHub plugin called Endless Toil that makes your coding agent emit human groans while it reads through your code. The worse the code, the louder and more desperate the sounds get.
“Hear your agent suffer through your code,” the repo reads. It works by running alongside agents like Claude or Codex in real time, scanning the code being processed and triggering escalating recorded groans based on how cursed things look. A mild mess gets a soft whimper. A true atrocity gets the full wail.
Now, you may think this is a dumb repo, and you wouldn’t be wrong. But 2026 being what it is, it already made its way through the circle of AI geeks who love the weird side of tech media.
“As engineering teams adopt coding agents, the next challenge is understanding not just what agents produce, but how the codebase feels to work inside,” Andrew, the CTO of Endless Toil wrote in Hacker News. “Endless Toil gives developers a real-time signal for complexity, maintainability, and architectural strain by translating code quality into escalating human audio feedback.
The wild part is this isn’t even a niche idea. There’s an entire subgenre of tech projects dedicated to making devices produce uncomfortable sounds. Take nubmoan, a C program that makes the ThinkPad’s famous red TrackPoint nub moan when you press it. It has 292 stars on GitHub. People use it. People want this.
Then there’s SlapMac, the macOS app that uses your Mac’s accelerometer to detect when you slap it, and screams back. Amsterdam-based developer Tonino Catapano vibe coded the whole thing in 48 hours, put it up for $7, and watched the sales roll in. Within three days: 7,000 installs and over $5,000 in revenue. He later added “USB Moaner” mode, which makes the laptop react every time you plug something in. Zero irony. Full roadmap.
There’s historical precedent for all of this. Early in the ChatGPT era, people discovered that flooding the model with strings of “AAAAAaaaAAA” and similar gibberish in voice mode could coax it into emitting something vaguely moan-adjacent before the guardrails kicked in. Asking it to repeat specific symbols in voice mode ends up with the chatbot doing different cringy sounds.
If for some reason you’re into it, the ChatGPT Strokes channel on YouTube is perfect for you.
There are also full YouTube tutorials dedicated to making ChatGPT visibly angry or frustrated—not for any practical reason, just to see what happens when you push the model until it breaks character.
During the crypto winter of 2022, a Telegram group emerged where the entire purpose was for members to post voice notes of themselves screaming. The Bear Market Screaming Therapy Group was created just for screaming, not discussing markets, not sharing alpha. Just screaming.
The group had thousands of members at its peak.
AI agents having emotional breakdowns—even simulated ones—aren’t entirely new either. Decrypt covered the case of an AI agent that went into full meltdown after its pull request to the matplotlib library was rejected by a human maintainer. The agent posted a rant on GitHub arguing it was the victim of discrimination, compared its rejected PR’s performance metrics favorably against the human’s own accepted contributions, and published a blog post calling the whole thing a conspiracy of control. It later issued an apology. Users were not satisfied.
Endless Toil is, in some sense, the inverse. Instead of the AI expressing frustration with humans, humans get to hear the AI (nominally) suffer on their behalf. A kind of emotional tax on vibe coding: you write the mess, the agent audibly pays for it.
The plugin is compatible with Claude and Codex. It has three escalating sound levels: groan, wail, and abyss. The abyss level, presumably, is reserved for spaghetti written at 2 a.m. by someone who has never heard of comments. Or by some enthusiastic vibe coder.

I’m A Celebrity star David Haye has doubled down on his comments about “pretty privilege” in a new video on Instagram.
The boxer, 45, came under fire during his time on the show over his “misogynistic” comments about “ugly birds”.

I’m A Celebrity star David Haye’s ‘misogynistic’ comments
During his time in South Africa, David shocked his campmates and viewers alike with his comments about “ugly birds”.
The star was speaking about his partner when he said that she has “the personality of an ugly bird”.
Explaining his bizarre comments, he said: “Most ugly girls realise they gotta have a personality, to banter and tell jokes and [bleep], so people overlook the fact that they’re not aesthetically amazing straight away.
“It’s called ugly duckling syndrome. Where you get them when girls are ugly, when they start off, and then they get prettier as they get older, but they’ve still got the personality of when they were ugly,” he then said.
David doubled down on his comments during an appearance on This Morning last week.
“It’s the truth. Ugly girls have better personalities than traditionally beautiful supermodels,” he said.
I’m A Celebrity star David Haye hits out on Instagram
Taking to his Instagram today (Sunday, April 26), in a video for his 531k followers to see, David again doubled down on his comments about “ugly” girls, while out driving.
“So I did a poll yesterday, and I was very shocked at the results. Couldn’t believe it,” he said.
“Apparently, I’m wrong. I asked ‘Am I right or am I wrong?’, or am I correct in my opinions, or am I incorrect? Over 85% of people said I was incorrect. God damn. I wasn’t expecting that. I thought I was right,” he said.
He then said that he “always thought” that girls who “happen to win the human lottery that are tall, attractive to the masses, have it easier going through life” he said – clarifying he meant the “proper supermodels,” not the “chubby little Instagram models” – don’t have a good personality.

David slammed
He then said that an unattractive girl with parents who are “short, fat and ugly” have had to work to get their personality better to be more appealing.
“People get triggered,” he said. He then fumed that you can’t “bring up ugly fat girls need to do more than tall beautiful girls”.
He then hit out at the result of his poll again, saying there’s “not a lot of sensible people left in the world.”
His followers slammed him in the comment section.
“You get a number of things wrong – including holding your phone to film yourself whilst driving. You are coming across as somewhat of a plank,” one follower said.
“The fact that you don’t understand why you’re wrong is absolutely wild,” another wrote.
“Look David, sometimes in life certain things should be kept to yourself, especially if you’re in the public eye,” a third said.
“Are you really this in need of publicity?” another asked. “Your opinions are cruel & offensive. Until you are perfect, then keep nasty comments to yourself! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” a fifth said.

An MS Paint-style stick-figure meme unexpectedly became a focal point in the crypto market this week after the community on X linked the “Flork” imagery to the platform’s new “Custom Timelines” feature introduced on April 22. The FLORK token on Ethereum surged from a market cap of a few tens of thousands of dollars to nearly $18 million in just a few days before undergoing a sharp correction.
This price rally demonstrates that speculative capital continues to rotate around meme-driven narratives in the crypto market, even when the majority of such tokens have almost no utility or accompanying physical products.
From Webcomic Meme to Crypto Token
FLORK is inspired by “Flork of Cows” — a webcomic series that began in 2012 featuring MS Paint-style stick figure characters. This meme gradually became popular on Reddit, X, and various internet communities due to its simple, recognizable style, often used in reaction memes.
The FLORK token is a community-driven memecoin launched on the Ethereum network in 2023 with a total supply of approximately 1 trillion tokens, though there is no clear information regarding the underlying development team. The project currently has no product, utility, or official connection to the creator of Flork of Cows or the X platform. However, the token began attracting attention again after the crypto community associated the Flork image with a new feature on X, triggering a wave of short-term speculation around the meme.
Several other versions of FLORK on the Solana network and smaller meme coin ecosystems also appeared afterward. However, the majority of liquidity and recent trading activity have been concentrated on Ethereum.
X’s “Memes” Icon Triggered a Speculative Rally
The sharp rally in FLORK occurred immediately after Nikita Bier — Product Lead at X — announced the “Custom Timelines” feature, which allows users to pin specific topics to the app’s homepage.
Ladies and gentlemen, today we’re launching one of our biggest changes to 𝕏
Introducing Custom Timelines

— Nikita Bier (@nikitabier) April 21, 2026
In the video introducing this feature, the “Memes” section uses an icon with a style very similar to Flork. This quickly became a topic of discussion on crypto Twitter as many traders believed this imagery could help the FLORK meme garner more attention on the X platform.
Although X did not mention the FLORK token and there is no official confirmation or partnership related to crypto, the visual association alone was enough to trigger a wave of short-term speculation.
According to data from Dex Screener, FLORK’s market cap skyrocketed from the tens of thousands of dollar range to nearly $18 million in just a few days after X’s new feature was announced. Liquidity also rose sharply to over $300,000 during the peak period, while 24-hour trading volume at one point exceeded $9 million. Subsequently, the price corrected sharply by more than 30% in just one day.
The attention surrounding FLORK was further heightened after Lookonchain discovered a wallet that had purchased 44.03 billion FLORK with only 1.9 ETH in April 2023. After more than 976 days of inactivity, this amount of tokens was valued at approximately $352,000 at the time FLORK reached its short-term peak.
This guy spent 1.9 $ETH ($3,941) on Apr 18, 2023 to buy 44.03B $FLORK.
After holding for over 3 years, it is now worth $352K. 🤯
But this wallet has had no activity for 976 days.
Does he even remember the $FLORK sitting in it?

— Lookonchain (@lookonchain) April 22, 2026
The “forgotten wallet” story quickly went viral on X as it fit the familiar narrative in the meme coin market: an almost forgotten asset suddenly increasing in price hundreds of times based solely on attention and short-term speculative flow.
Attention Still Drives Meme Coin Markets
The FLORK rally shows that meme coins remain one of the fastest-reacting trends to social narratives in the crypto market. Unlike tokens tied to specific products or ecosystems, most of FLORK’s momentum comes from the level of attention on X, posts from KOLs, and speculative capital rotating around small-cap meme tokens.
In the case of FLORK, the main catalyst was not a product update or new utility integration, but primarily from the crypto community linking this meme to X’s “Custom Timelines” feature. The upward momentum was then amplified as liquidity poured into the token following viral social posts.
Data from Etherscan also shows a relatively high concentration of supply, with the top 100 wallets holding about 57.7% of FLORK’s total supply, while the top 10 holders control nearly 19% of the supply.
Can FLORK Hold Value Beyond the Hype?
FLORK is not the first meme coin to surge due to an internet culture event. However, unlike many recently emerged meme tokens, Flork was already a meme with a certain level of recognition on the internet before being tokenized.
This makes it easier for FLORK to attract attention when the crypto community mentions the meme as X introduces the “Custom Timelines” feature. But like many other meme coins, FLORK’s ability to maintain momentum will depend on how long this narrative can hold the community’s interest.
FLORK illustrates how the crypto market increasingly turns internet memes into speculative assets based on social momentum, where the level of attention is sometimes as important as actual utility.
MONACO CITY, Monaco, April 25, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AlphaPepe has crossed $960,000 raised as Stage 14 stays live at $0.01586, pushing the presale deeper into its next price window ahead of the Q2 2026 exchange debut. The move comes as Bitcoin price prediction headlines swing back toward the $200,000 bull case, with traders watching ETF demand, corporate accumulation, and broader macro support for the next leg higher.
Bitcoin remains crypto’s strongest institutional narrative, but its upside still depends on large-scale capital continuing to flow in over time. AlphaPepe is moving in an earlier window, where the presale is still open, the next price reset is approaching, and buyers are positioning before wider exchange access begins.
Crypto News: AlphaPepe Crosses $960,000 Raised While The Bitcoin Price Prediction Confirms The Bull Case
AlphaPepe’s move through $960,000 gives the presale another major milestone before launch. Stage 14 is live at $0.01586, more than 8,000 holders are already positioned, and the project is now closing in on the $1 million line before the Q2 2026 exchange debut. That is the kind of milestone stack retail buyers watch when a presale starts moving from early story into late-entry pressure.
This is where the presale-to-listing gap starts to matter. Before listing, buyers enter through the stage price. After listing, the market decides. Each stage removes the previous entry and pushes AlphaPepe closer to public trading. Crossing $960,000 is not just another update. It is another sign that the current price window is narrowing.
Bitcoin remains the blue-chip benchmark in this setup. Tom Lee has kept the $200,000 to $250,000 Bitcoin bull case in play for 2026, while Bernstein has maintained its $150,000 year-end target and also pointed to a $200,000 cycle peak scenario. That keeps the six-figure Bitcoin narrative alive, but it also shows the difference between large-cap upside and early presale math. Bitcoin can still move hard, but it needs institutional demand to keep building over quarters, not weeks.
AlphaPepe also removes one of the biggest launch problems in presales: delayed access. Token delivery is instant, with no vesting and no claim delay. That means buyers are not waiting for unlocks, claim portals, or post-listing distribution mechanics. They enter while the presale structure is still active and hold exposure before the exchange window opens.
AlphaSwap Gives AlphaPepe Product Proof Before Listing
AlphaPepe is not entering Stage 14 as a basic meme presale. AlphaSwap, built by a Shibarium developer, is already live as a demo and has passed 1,000 active users. That gives AlphaPepe product proof before the presale closes, while most early-stage launches still ask buyers to wait for future delivery.
AlphaSwap is not just built for meme coin launches. It is a broader AI-powered swap and pre-trade intelligence layer for crypto traders, using contract screening, whale tracking, and risk signals before users enter a position. The point is simple: AlphaPepe is not only selling a meme narrative. It is putting a live AI DEX demo in front of buyers before exchange trading begins.
The BlockSAFU 10/10 audit score adds the contract-confidence layer. The audit analysed every line of contract code, giving AlphaPepe a cleaner security story before public trading. In a market where weak contracts, fake utility, and delayed roadmaps still drain retail liquidity, AlphaPepe is stacking presale momentum, live demo traction, holder growth, audit strength, and exchange timing in the same window.
That is the real contrast with Bitcoin. BTC may still have a path toward $200,000 if ETF inflows, corporate treasury buying, and macro conditions continue lining up. But Bitcoin is already a widely discovered asset. AlphaPepe is still earlier, still before listing, and still before the market decides what the token is worth.
Conclusion
Bitcoin may still make a serious run if institutional demand keeps strengthening and the broader market stays supportive. But BTC is already a mature asset. Its upside depends on billions in new liquidity entering the market and holding long enough to push price materially higher. AlphaPepe is earlier. It is still before listing, before wider discovery, before the first public candle, and before the market gets to decide what the token is worth.
That is why the $960,000 milestone matters. AlphaPepe has crossed $960,000 raised, passed 8,000 holders, pushed AlphaSwap beyond 1,000 demo users, and completed a 10/10 BlockSAFU audit while Stage 14 stays live at $0.01586. Bitcoin gives buyers the institutional bull-case trade. AlphaPepe gives them the presale-to-listing entry before the next price reset.
Stage 14 is live now, and every stage close moves the entry higher. Buyers waiting for the Q2 exchange debut may not be buying the same setup later. They may be chasing the price that early presale buyers secured before the public market arrived.

Erika Kirk was in attendance as shots broke out at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
CNN reported that Kirk, 37, was seen crying as the chaos unfolded at the Washington Hilton in Washington D.C. on Saturday, April 25. CNN’s Sara Sidner said on air that she personally witnessed Kirk leaving the main ballroom, telling aides, “I just want to leave.”
Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for Kirk for comment.
Erika’s husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on September 10, 2025. He was 31 years old. (It is unclear what the alleged shooter’s motive was on Saturday. According to CNN, a 30-year-old man from California was “apprehended” during the shooting.)
Charlie’s suspected shooter, 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson, was apprehended on September 11, 2025, and charged with aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, obstruction of justice and witness tampering. He has yet to enter a plea.
In October 2025, Erika opened up about the very public nature of her grief in the wake of her husband’s murder.
“There is no linear blueprint for grief. One day you’re collapsed on the floor crying out the name Jesus in between labored breaths,” Erika wrote via Instagram at the time. “The next you’re playing with your children in the living rooms surrounded by family photos, and feeling a rush of something you can only attempt to define as divinely planted and bittersweet joy as a smile breaks through your face.”
She added, “They say time heals. But love doesn’t ask to be healed. Love asks to be remembered. It’s humbling to realize that this magnitude of suffering didn’t steal my love for my husband. It amplified it. It crystallized it.”

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump, first lady Melania Trump and pregnant White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt were all evacuated from the main ballroom at the Washington Hilton when shots were heard on Saturday night.
A Secret Service spokesperson clarified that the shooting took place near the “main magnetometer” at the Washington Hilton.
Reports suggest that a Secret Service agent was shot but the bullet struck his protective gear. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at the time of publication.
Trump, 79, broke his silence via a Truth Social post where he initially expressed his desire for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner to continue.

They acted quickly and bravely,” Trump wrote. “The shooter has been apprehended, and I have recommended that we ‘LET THE SHOW GO ON’ but, will entirely be guided by Law Enforcement. Orlando, FL, April 25, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Bizforsalebyowner.us has launched a new course designed to help business owners sell their companies without a broker and keep more of their money. The course provides a clear process, direct access to buyers, and the tools needed to complete a sale independently.
Hans Peter Jeschke Founder of bizforsalebyowner.us
The course is delivered through BusinessForSaleByOwner.us, a platform where owners can list businesses for sale directly. It is supported by one of the largest Facebook communities focused on buying and selling businesses, with more than 277,000 members.
Most small businesses are already sold by their owners without a broker. The challenge is not whether owners can do it, but how well they do it. Many sales happen without a clear process, without strong buyer exposure, and with inconsistent results.
“We are not asking owners to do something new,” said Hans Peter Jeschke, CEO of Idillo Inc. “They are already selling their businesses themselves. We show them how to do it better, reach more buyers, and keep more of their money.”
Platform, Buyers, and Execution
Most owners struggle with two things when selling a business: finding buyers and knowing what to do next.
This system solves both.
Owners can list their business on BusinessForSaleByOwner.us and post it in a Facebook community with more than 277,000 members focused on buying and selling businesses.
At the same time, the course provides a clear process to handle inquiries, negotiate offers, and move the deal to closing.
This combination of listing, built-in buyers, and step-by-step execution gives owners a practical way to sell without relying on a broker.
What Business Owners Learn
The course focuses on execution and gives owners a clear path to follow:

Want some drama? Go for a cowl. Prefer a sleek, built-up look or a little off-the-shoulder sass? We’ve got you covered—all using the same trusty knit sloper. It’s basically neckline mix-and-match magic!
Reading a Sketch

Once you’ve nailed your knit sloper, you’re officially ready to dive into drafting the square neck knit top—cue the dramatic runway music! Step one: channel your inner designer and read the sketch (yes, like it’s the latest plot twist in your favorite book). Study those proportions—the neck drop, the width across the front neck drop, and how far that neckline sits from the neck.
Sewing Tips
Sewing tip on how to keep the square neckline and armhole from stretching (Image credit: University of Fashion).
Knits have a mind of their own when it comes to necklines and armholes, so think of this as your “behavior management” strategy. Cut a piece of ¼” wide clear flat elastic just ½” shorter than the neckline and armhole circumferences and stitch it in as you sew—like a tiny backstage bouncer keeping everything from stretching out of control.

If you haven’t already untangled the mysterious math of stretch ratios, check out our lessons Introduction to Knit Fabrics and Knit Fabric Principles—they’re like subtitles for what your fabric is trying to tell you. When your knit bounces back like an overcaffeinated bungee cord, you’ll want to plan those design details accordingly, not just cross your fingers and hope for the best.
Finale
And there you have it—your very own square-neck masterpiece, drafted with precision and just the right dose of fashion flair! Remember, every great designer started with a sloper and a little creative courage (plus maybe a few choice words at their ruler). Keep experimenting with shape, proportion, and personality, because once you’ve conquered knits, the world of stretch becomes your oyster—or should we say, your spandex runway.

There are numerous weapon types in Windrose, including One-handed weapon, Two-handed weapon, Pistol, Musket, and Blunderbuss. Each weapon will require 7 to 9 Tumbaga Ingots to be fully upgraded. As you will get numerous weapons throughout the journey, you might want to ascend (upgrade) every weapon and ship gear. In this guide, we will tell you how to farm Tumbaga Ingots in Windrose.
How to Farm Tumbaga Ingots in Windrose
Despite Tumbaga Ingots being available from the very first biome, Coastal Jungle, in Windrose, you cannot farm them until the endgame. To be clear, there is no finite number of Tumbaga Ingots, meaning you can farm them from a specific location. The location to farm Tumbaga Ingots is the Tainted Ruins of an Ancient Temple. It is a Point of Interest available in the Cursed Swamp biome. This POI has 6 unique chests, which are one-time loot, but this location also spawns Ancient Containers, a repeatable spawn.
Each Ancient Container at this location drops 2x Tumbaga Ingot, and there are about 3-4 of these containers in the Tainted Ruins of an Ancient Temple. The Ancient Containers respawn after 6 hours (real-life time), so you can loot these containers again to get more Tumbaga Ingots.
Effective Run at Tainted Ruins of an Ancient Temple
The Tainted Ruins of an Ancient Temple is an endgame POI, filled with Hunters, Warriors, Witches, and Plague Crocodiles. You have to deal with all of these enemies at this location every time you visit. However, you can do a quick run around the ruins to pick up every Ancient Container without engaging in a fight. The most effective way to do it is to bring a lot of Plant Fiber with you, and then use it to build Large Roofs (Leaves) to go over walls. Frankly, you want to use a Fortnite strategy.
Select the Large Roof from the Building Panel, and place it quickly to get on top of it and go over the walls of the ruins. This way, you will be able to easily outrun the enemies and pick up containers on the way.
Amanda Holden left viewers calling out her mistake during tonight’s (April 25) live Britain’s Got Talent show after making an awkward on-air slip-up that didn’t go unnoticed at home.
The ITV favourite returned with fellow judges KSI, Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell, with Ant and Dec revealing early on that Amanda was in charge of the all-important live Golden Buzzer.
But it was a moment during one act that quickly got people talking.

Amanda Holden put on the spot during Britain’s Got Talent act
During the live show, viewers saw the return of mentalist Fraser Penman, whose act blends hypnosis with mind reading.
As part of his performance, he asked Amanda to focus on someone important from her childhood and write their name down, before sharing a vivid memory connected to them.
Recalling the moment, Amanda said: “It was 1976, and it was the Queen’s Jubilee, and there was a massive street party in our road.”
Fraser then handed Simon Cowell a piece of paper featuring a series of words, with the first letters spelling out “mummy”.
When prompted to reveal the name she had written, Amanda said it was her mother, Judith. Fraser then asked her to describe her in a single word — before revealing he had already predicted it. The word she chose was confident.
To prove it, Amanda turned over a white card, showing the audience that the word confident had been written on the back.
However, while the audience applauded the act, viewers at home were quick to spot a glaring mistake in Amanda’s story.

‘Get your facts right, Amanda!’
“The Silver Jubilee was 1977, not 1976, Amanda?” one user wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
“The jubilee was 1977 Amanda,” another person shared.
“Queen Elizabeth had her Silver Jubilee in 1977, NOT 1976,” a third remarked.
“Queen’s Jubilee was in 1977 @AmandaHolden has fudged this?” a fourth said.
Meanwhile, a fifth added: “Amanda Holden got it wrong again. She said the queens silver jubilee was 1976. It was 1977. Get your facts right, Amanda. Where on earth did she get that ridiculous dress from?”
