You Can Still Get Skincare Treatments in the Summer With These Tips

You Can Still Get Skincare Treatments in the Summer With These Tips

Glow brighter than the sun! Hilary Duff’s aesthetics nurse Anush Movsesian sat down with ET to share her top tips for maintaining glass-like skin all year long.

The sought-after skincare expert, and owner of Routine in Studio City, California, is booked until 2026 due to her thoughtful and results-driven method.

“Most of my patients are seeking healthy, glowing skin. Many are also concerned with reducing fine lines and wrinkles and improving overall skin texture for a more flawless and even makeup application,” Movsesian shares.

To master these goals, the skin consultatant offers everything including injectables, lasers, hair removal, and more at her studio.

“I have an artistic and meticulous approach to filling lips and facial balancing. I’ve also been doing a lot of CO2 laser resurfacing treatments lately,” she says.

And while brighter days are ahead as we enter the warm weather seasons, it doesn’t mean you have to wait until the winter (or for a coveted appointment with Movsesian herself) to enhance your routine.

“It’s not that any treatment should be avoided in the spring and summer months, but most require minimal to no sun exposure while your skin is healing. If you choose to get a treatment when you are in the sun more often, it is important to be diligent about limiting your exposure for the most optimal results and safety of your new skin,” she explains.

Other than staying inside and investing in a wide-brimmed hat, or a full-face cover visor, protecting your skin with sunscreen every day is always key.

“Skipping SPF in your morning skincare routine is an absolute no-no. … It is imperative to amp up your SPF usage in the warmer months. The focus should also be on hydration during the day rather than just lathering on very thick moisturizers and creams,” the injector notes.

In between treatments, staying consistent with your regimen will also help prolong your radiant appearance.

“Your skincare needs to be applied routinely. … Double cleanse your skin at night, first with an oil-based cleanser to remove makeup and dirt, followed by a second round with a gentle cleanser to actually clean your skin,” Movsesian suggests.

To take it up a notch, the family nurse practitioner recommends incorporating a retinol product as well.

“People have an overall fear of retinol, but the key is to start with a gentle formula a couple of times a week and gradually build up to more frequent usage, and eventually, a stronger formula. … A lot of people think retinol can thin out the skin, but it is not true. In fact, it does the opposite, and actually helps produce collagen,” she spills.

Young and the Restless Next Week: Lauren & Nikki Plot Against Victor!

Young and the Restless Next Week: Lauren & Nikki Plot Against Victor!

Young and the Restless spoilers see Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) scheming with Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) behind Victor Newman‘s (Eric Braeden) back, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) confronting someone. And Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) getting in Sally Spectra‘s (Courtney Hope) head.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chloe’s Advice to Sally Regarding Billy and Phyllis

So first, let’s talk about why Chloe is pressuring Sally in the week ahead. As Friday’s episode closes down, we’re going to have both Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Sally quite unhappy with Billy Abbott‘s (Jason Thompson) decision to work with mystery man Aristotle Dumas. Billy tried to get Phyllis to see reason. He told her Dumas offered him a way to get Chancellor away from the Newmans. And Billy said he just couldn’t say no.

But then, when he tried to explain it all to Phyllis, she just got increasingly upset. And part of it is she took Billy at his word when he said he was going to put revenge on Victor behind him, that he had moved past it, he wasn’t going to engage in those games. But he was fibbing to Phyllis and also to Sally, to both of them.

Young and Restless Spoilers: Billy’s Games

Then Billy got Phyllis really excited to build something new at Abbott Communications with him. So this was going to be this ground-up, you know, collaboration project. Billy thought it would be a fresh start for him and for Phyllis. And then she insisted that he bring in Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). So this is what she was looking forward to.

But now, Phyllis thinks there’s no fresh start coming because Billy’s the same old Victor-fixated guy who can’t let go of revenge games. And that’s the last thing that she needs because Phyllis is in bad shape. She’s got mental health issues, she’s got PTSD, all that. Despite being upset at Billy, she’s going to continue leaning into him, though, because her struggles are going to continue.

Young and the Restless: Sally Lays into Billy

So as the week ends, Sally is also chewing Billy out for business dealings. Phyllis and Sally both think that his involvement with Duma is dodgy. And Billy, of course, is telling Phyllis a good bit of the truth, Sally not too much of the truth. But they both think that Billy shouldn’t be involved with this guy on Young and the Restless.

So there’s an important shift next week. Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally’s best friend, Chloe Mitchell, tells Sally that she should take a page out of her devious playbook. Chloe suggests that Sally should find a way to get Phyllis out of Billy’s orbit for good. So I wonder if Chloe is talking about when Sally conspired to get Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) sent to Italy back in the day when she came back to town.

Young and the Restless: Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) - Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) - Victor Newman
Young and the Restless: Nikki Newman – Lauren Fenmore – Victor Newman

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chloe Sees Clearly

So, it definitely seems like Chloe has recognized that Phyllis is a significant problem for her bestie Sally and her relationship. You know, Chloe is actually a very accurate and trustworthy voice of reason where Billy is concerned. If you know your Young and the Restless history, you know, don’t forget it’s been a minute, but Chloe and Billy had a significant relationship years ago.

The death of their daughter Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) kind of ripped them apart. But yeah, Chloe knows what she’s talking about when it comes to him. And she knows all about Billy and Phyllis and Billy with Phyllis. So I do think Phyllis is just part of the problem, though this Dumas guy is going to be the real trouble.

Young and the Restless: Winters Family Targeted – Lily Confronts Damian About Dumas’ Agenda

All right, before we talk about Nikki going behind Victor’s back, let’s talk about the Dumas threat creeping closer to the Winters family also. Already, Lily, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) wonder why Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) came, claimed to be running or owning these companies that are actually property of Dumas. We now know that Victor and Dumas have been rivals for several many years. And next week’s YNR spoilers have Lily just going off on Damian.

So, we’re going to see Lily telling Damian she wants to know what the heck he and his boss Dumas are really up to. She is on fire about it, but the question is, is this something more that Lily has found out, or is this just her acting on information that Victor gave her? Because the Mustache told Lily some things selectively. He was not transparent with her.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor’s Deceit

Victor didn’t give Lily the whole truth, far from it. And there’s no doubt that Victor has an agenda where Dumas is concerned. They are rivals, and Victor wants the other man to go down in flames. And he’s got no issue weaponizing the Winters to attack Damian, hoping it’ll destabilize Dumas.

So when Lily comes in hot at him, Damian kind of looks like he’s in shock. However, I would also be surprised if he gives Lily the answers that she’s looking for. There is a reason that Damian is keeping things secret. It could be his agenda, or it could be about his boss’s big plans, the mysterious Duma.

Nikki’s Dilemma: Lauren’s Plea to Betray Victor in Young and the Restless Spoilers

All right, now let’s talk about why Lauren wants Nikki to go behind Victor’s back. So by the end of this week, Nikki’s celebrating with the other Newmans. They are all toasting Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan)’s reunion.

That’s Nikki and Victor and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), all of them are toasting them. You know, Nikki’s not a big fan of Adam’s, but she has to admit he seems like he’s straightening up and flying right and doing better.

Then Nikki’s celebration is cut a little short because her best friend Lauren Fenmore summons Nikki to come see her. I think they’re over the GCAC. The ladies are out to lunch. And Lauren looks distraught when Nikki joins her next week, should be probably Monday.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lauren wants to talk to Nikki

So we’re going to see in the Young and the Restless spoilers for the week ahead that Lauren wants to talk to Nikki about Victor. And Lauren says Victor is why that, you know, she urgently needed Nikki there, which of course she’s surprised because what’s the overlap, right?

So Lauren tells Nikki she needs her to betray her husband Victor. And I do suspect that this is about Michael Baldwin (Christian Leblanc) being roped into one of Victor’s schemes to destroy Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

First of all, Lauren does not want to see their good friend Jack destroyed, and she knows this is Victor being awful for no reason. Second, Lauren doesn’t want Michael dragged into these vendetta games, but Victor is pushing him hard. And you know, Michael has an affection for the guy, so he’s letting it happen.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Will Victor Give In?

So Lauren may ask Nikki to try and dissuade Victor from revenge, or we may find out from Lauren that Michael’s dragging his feet about those spies. You know, Lauren may tell her that Michael’s in a no-win position.

And she needs Nikki to help him out of this jam, kind of help him cover for the fact that they really don’t want the Jabi spies bringing back any good intel. Lauren doesn’t want Jack targeted. And we all know Victor’s only being salty because Jack saved Nikki’s life, and right now nobody else in the Newman family wants Jack targeted, literally not one other person, but Victor’s out of control.

So, I suspect Lauren wants Nikki to shut down her hubby or betray Victor so they can keep him chasing his tail, keep him in the dark so that no real Jabi sabotage activities happen.

Loose Women star makes ‘awful’ dementia revelation: ‘Put me in a home and walk away’

Loose Women panelist Coleen Nolan has opened up about dementia in her family in a new interview.

Her mum, Maureen, died in 2007 aged 81 and spent her final five years living with Alzheimer’s. Despite looking after her, Coleen’s mother was unable to recognise the star towards the end.

Loose Women star Coleen Nolan reveals ‘biggest fear’

In a new interview with BBC Radio Stoke, Coleen, who moved to a farm in North Staffordshire last year, admitted her “biggest fear” is to be diagnosed with dementia.

While she doesn’t have the disease, she’s already had the discussion with her three children, Shane Jr, 36, Jake, 32, and Ciara, 24, in case she is ever diagnosed.

“It’s my biggest fear and I’ve actually said to my kids if it happens – god forbid – put me in a home and walk away, because I won’t know and it’s awful,” she said.

“Of course they’re going: ‘Like we’re going to put you in a home and walk away,’ and I’m said: ‘I’m telling you if you decide to do that, don’t ever feel guilty because that’s what I want you to do … as long as it’s a nice home!’”

When looking after her mum, Coleen said she would have “tantrums like a two year old”. She also said she found it hard to bathe her.

Coleen added: “The last two years it was really bad. And she didn’t know us anyway. We had the guilt – I remember not wanting to go and see her. I would wake up and think I don’t want to go and see her because it killed me.”

The singer declared that “no child wants to put a parent in a care home”, insisting she was left with “massive guilt”.

‘I just want cancer to leave us alone’

That’s not the only heartache the famous family have endured over the years, though.

Following a 20-year-long battle with cancer, Coleen’s older sister Linda died on January 15 after suffering from double pneumonia. The following month, she was laid to rest with a funeral in Blackpool.

However, while grieving over the loss of her sibling, Coleen’s brother Brian, 69, was diagnosed with level 2 prostate cancer days after her death. He is now the fifth of the Nolan siblings to battle the cruel disease.

“I just want cancer to leave us alone,” Brian told OK! while sharing the news.

It’s good news, however, as the cancer has not spread further, and Brian will have surgery to have his prostate gland removed. During an appearance on Loose Women with Coleen on Monday (March 24), Brian urged men to prioritise their health.

How to authenticate a Chanel Handbag? The Ultimate Checklist

How to authenticate a Chanel Handbag? The Ultimate Checklist

Did you know that a classic Chanel handbag witnesses a value appreciation of 10 to 15% annually? That said, whether you want to enjoy its stylish sophistication or treasure it as an investment masterpiece, the Chanel bag you buy MUST BE AN ORIGINAL!  With counterfeiters becoming increasingly sophisticated, it’s critical to arm yourself with knowledge and a keen eye. How about becoming Sherlock Holmes in the world of luxury fashion? After all, authenticating a Chanel handbag is no less than embarking on a detective adventure in the upscale world of designer bags. Having consulted vintage handbag experts and meticulously studied Chanel’s signature features, we bring you foolproof strategies to distinguish an authentic Chanel from a clever imposter.

First and Foremost, Examine the Leather Quality

        The Touchstone of Authenticity

Chanel’s commitment to excellence is evident in its choice of materials. Whether it’s the buttery softness of lambskin or the pebbled resilience of caviar leather, an authentic Chanel bag feels as luxurious as it looks. Even if it’s an old one, the distinctive lustre remains intact. In case the leather feels plasticky, overly shiny, or lacks that sumptuous touch, consider it a red flag.

Next Up: Inspect the Stitching with Precision

        Immaculate Construction and Intricacy

Precision is the hallmark of Chanel’s craftsmanship. The flap must align perfectly without any awkward extension beyond the sides. Authentic bags boast 10 to 12 stitches per inch, ensuring durability and a polished appearance. Fewer stitches can result in a quilt that’s too puffy or misaligned—a telltale sign of a counterfeit. Besides, the quilting whether it is diamond, chevron, and square, is typically centered on a Chanel bag making the overall construction very precise.

Pay Close Attention: Check the Logo and Hardware

        The Devil’s in the Details

Interlocking CC Logo: Observe the iconic interlocking Cs. On genuine bags, the right C overlaps the left at the top, and the left overlaps the right at the bottom.
Hardware Quality: Authentic Chanel hardware has a substantial feel, often crafted from high-quality metals with a gold or silver finish. Counterfeit hardware may feel light, cheap, or show signs of flaking.
Zippers and Clasps: Authentic Chanel bags use high-quality zippers, such as Lampo, EP, or Eclair, which feel smooth and sturdy.
Engraved Details: The “Chanel” engraving on the hardware should be crisp and evenly spaced without fading or smudging.
Screws: Chanel handbags typically use flathead screws in their hardware, particularly in the CC turn-lock closures and other metal components. That was till 2015. After that, the brand switched to proprietary, star-shaped screws for better security.

Don’t Forget: Verify the Serial Number or Microchip and the Authenticity Card

        The Ingenuity in a Number

Since the late 1980s, Chanel has included serial number stickers inside their bags, matching the accompanying authenticity card. The serial numbers vary depending on the production year. It would be a six-digit code for bags produced before 2005 and a seven-digit code for those produced between 2005 and 2021. However, starting with the 21A collection in 2021, Chanel transitioned to microchip authentication, embedding a metal plate with an alphanumeric code inside the bag. This microchip system enhances security and streamlines the authentication process. Besides, it is vital to ensure that the font and placement of the serial sticker are precise. Counterfeits often have smudged fonts or incorrect alignment.

Check the Authentication Stamp—Not Just the Authenticity Card

A Small Detail, But Often A Critical Sign Of Authenticity

Examine the heat stamp inside the bag. The lettering should be clear, sharp, and evenly spaced. Chanel typically stamps “Made in France” or “Made in Italy”—never “Made in Paris.” If the stamp appears blurry, misaligned, or uneven, it could be a counterfeit.

Examine the Lining and Interior Details

        Chanel Lining and Interior Details

        Inner Beauty Matters

The interior lining of a Chanel bag should be impeccably fitted—smooth and free from bubbles or misalignments. A loose or wrinkled lining is a warning sign. The interior branding stamp should be clear, centered, and embossed into the leather rather than printed. The interior leather tag should also have rounded corners and be stitched on all four sides.

        Check the Chain and Strap

Weighing In the Twist and Twirl

Chanel Chain and StrapThe chain straps of an authentic Chanel bag have a noticeable heft, intertwined seamlessly with leather. If the chain feels flimsy or the leather weaving appears inconsistent, you might be holding a counterfeit.

Trust Your Senses: Smell the Bag

        Sniffing Out Fakes

Genuine Chanel bags exude the rich aroma of high-quality leather. A chemical or plastic smell is a strong indicator of a fake.

Verify Packaging Presentation: The Dust Jacket, Tissue Paper, and Box

        First Impressions Count

Chanel Packaging PresentationAuthentic Chanel bags come with high-quality packaging, including sturdy boxes, dust bags, and care booklets. Unboxing should give an upscale experience. The dust bag should feel soft and display the Chanel logo with precision, and the hand-pleated tissue paper should echo high-end quality. Inferior packaging materials or misspellings are immediate red flags.

What if Not All Features Match?

While these authentication steps are essential, it’s important to remember that slight inconsistencies do not always mean a bag is fake. Chanel has evolved its designs over the years, and variations in stitching, hardware, or interior details may exist due to different production periods or minor factory updates. Vintage Chanel bags, for instance, might show wear that alters some original features. If a bag checks most but not all authenticity markers, it’s best to consult an expert for a professional evaluation.

Make the Smart Choice: Purchase from Trusted Sources

Whether you’re buying from a reseller, a boutique, or inheriting one, knowing how to authenticate a Chanel bag can save you from expensive mistakes.

To avoid counterfeits, always buy from reputable retailers, authorized resellers, or Chanel boutiques. If purchasing pre-owned, opt for trusted luxury consignment platforms that offer authenticity guarantees.

Animoca Brands Partners with Soneium for Web3 Tool and Initiatives

          0
Animoca Brands Partners with Soneium for Web3 Tool and Initiatives

Animoca Brands has announced a new partnership with Sony Block Solutions Labs to develop blockchain-based identity infrastructure and support anime-themed projects on Soneium—Sony’s Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain.

The collaboration introduces Anime ID, a decentralised identity system built by San FranTokyo, a contributor to the Anime Foundation. It will serve as the first implementation of Moca Network’s identity tools on Soneium. Moca Network will play a central role in enabling these features through its AIR SDK (Account, Identity, Reputation Software Development Kit), which provides account management and credential verification across applications.

The partnership also includes a cultural component: a series of anime-related campaigns led by San FranTokyo to attract anime communities to Soneium and explore blockchain-based experiences.

Animoca Brands Partners with Soneium for Web3 Tool and Initiatives Source: Animoca Brands

          What will this partnership bring?

Under the agreement, Moca Network will integrate its identity infrastructure into Soneium, starting with Anime ID. The AIR SDK will allow users to maintain a single identity and reputation record across different applications, while also enabling developers on Soneium to issue and verify user credentials.

“By integrating Moca Network’s identity infrastructure, we’re not just enhancing entertainment experiences; we’re creating a seamless digital ecosystem,” said Yat Siu, Co-founder and Executive chairman of Animoca Brands. “The partnership will empower Soneium users with unified digital identities, bridging anime, gaming, and blockchain technologies.”

Anime ID will act as a decentralised identifier system and reputation layer, offering support for features such as embedded accounts, persistent identity, and cross-platform engagement. These features are designed to make it easier for users to navigate and interact with various applications without needing separate profiles or verification steps for each service.

“By integrating Moca Network’s AIR SDK and Anime ID into Soneium and Animoca Brands launching anime-inspired cultural campaigns, we aim to onboard global anime fans to the blockchain, enabling them to collaborate, create, and infuse the world with emotion,” added Jun Watanabe, chairman of Sony Block Solutions Labs of Soneium.

In parallel, San FranTokyo will launch anime-themed campaigns intended to increase user engagement on Soneium. These campaigns are expected to connect anime communities to blockchain-based projects, though specific details on the campaigns or participating IPs have not been announced.

          What’s next for Animoca Brands?

This collaboration marks a continuation of Animoca Brands’ strategy to build infrastructure for digital identity across blockchain ecosystems. Moca Network, one of the company’s key projects, is designed to work across multiple blockchains and support unified identity, asset ownership, and reputation tracking. Moca Network is powered by the $MOCA token, which is used to support identity verification, data storage, and network governance.

Animoca Brands continues to expand its presence in blockchain gaming, decentralised identity, and digital ownership through partnerships and investment. The company has built a large portfolio of web3-related projects and has been active in developing infrastructure intended to support long-term adoption of decentralised technologies.

No specific launch date for Anime ID or the upcoming campaigns on Soneium has been confirmed, but both companies say development is already underway.

Immortal Boy looks wild blending a little Undertale and OMORI together

Immortal Boy looks wild blending a little Undertale and OMORI together

IcarusDev is currently making Immortal Boy a 2.5D turn-based RPG of battles, puzzles and exploration – amid secrets and betrayal. It’s a little of Undertale meets OMORI.

There’s a whole lot of adventuring exploration here with lots of side missions where you engage with a “character-rich story with fleshed-out character arcs” and of course, plenty of mini-games too. Wrapped up in a slick chiptune soundtrack, and a little “Windows 98 Webcore” nostalgia thrown in too for some of the UI it certainly looks like an experience.

          Check out the trailer:

The Steam page explains a little more noting that the combat in it features a 4-member party system, with special ability that come at the cost of another character’s health, mixed in with 3D bullet-hell styled platforming for the enemy turns. I’ve not really seen many that look like this.

          From the Steam page:

A group of 4 friends race against Tree monsters, Food creatures, Whacky snowmen, Sci-Fi computers, Gambling kings and who-knows-what to obtain a magical object that can grant anyone their Deepest Desire…

However, something tells you a certain friend isn’t who they seem…

Spanning 9 Chapters (Kinda), Immortal Boy delves into the perspective of a Boy trapped in a psychological prison created by his own self-esteem and self-perception.

          Delve into Themes of:

          Insecurity
          Emotional Manipulation
          Emotional Attachment
          Loneliness
          Relationships
Characters being stupid for no reason in particular

Speaking to the developer over email, they confirmed it will have Native Linux support.
