Erika Kirk Reportedly Seen Crying at White House Correspondents’ Dinner After Shots Break Out

Erika Kirk was in attendance as shots broke out at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

CNN reported that Kirk, 37, was seen crying as the chaos unfolded at the Washington Hilton in Washington D.C. on Saturday, April 25. CNN’s Sara Sidner said on air that she personally witnessed Kirk leaving the main ballroom, telling aides, “I just want to leave.”

Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for Kirk for comment.

Erika’s husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on September 10, 2025. He was 31 years old. (It is unclear what the alleged shooter’s motive was on Saturday. According to CNN, a 30-year-old man from California was “apprehended” during the shooting.)

Charlie’s suspected shooter, 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson, was apprehended on September 11, 2025, and charged with aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, obstruction of justice and witness tampering. He has yet to enter a plea.

In October 2025, Erika opened up about the very public nature of her grief in the wake of her husband’s murder.

“There is no linear blueprint for grief. One day you’re collapsed on the floor crying out the name Jesus in between labored breaths,” Erika wrote via Instagram at the time. “The next you’re playing with your children in the living rooms surrounded by family photos, and feeling a rush of something you can only attempt to define as divinely planted and bittersweet joy as a smile breaks through your face.”

She added, “They say time heals. But love doesn’t ask to be healed. Love asks to be remembered. It’s humbling to realize that this magnitude of suffering didn’t steal my love for my husband. It amplified it. It crystallized it.”

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump, first lady Melania Trump and pregnant White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt were all evacuated from the main ballroom at the Washington Hilton when shots were heard on Saturday night.

A Secret Service spokesperson clarified that the shooting took place near the “main magnetometer” at the Washington Hilton.

Reports suggest that a Secret Service agent was shot but the bullet struck his protective gear. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at the time of publication.

Trump, 79, broke his silence via a Truth Social post where he initially expressed his desire for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner to continue.

Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika Kirk (née Frantzve), broke her silence following the death of her husband at age 31. “Charlie loved life. He loved his life, he loved America, he loved nature which always helped him closer to God,” Erika, 36, said in a live stream via Charlie’s X on Friday, September 12. “He loved […]

“Quite an evening in D.C. Secret Service and Law Enforcement did a fantastic job. They acted quickly and bravely,” Trump wrote. “The shooter has been apprehended, and I have recommended that we ‘LET THE SHOW GO ON’ but, will entirely be guided by Law Enforcement. They will make a decision shortly. Regardless of that decision, the evening will be much different than planned, and we’ll just, plain, have to do it again.”

Journalist and White House Correspondents’ President Weijia Jiang subsequently announced at the podium that the event would be rescheduled within the next 30 days.

“Law enforcement has requested that we leave the premises. … [The president] wanted to emphasize that nobody was hurt. The cabinet and the first lady, everybody’s safe,” she said. “I said earlier tonight that journalism is a public service because when there is an emergency we run toward the crisis, not away from it … I saw all of you reporting and that’s what we do.”

She added, “Thank God everybody is safe and thank you for coming together tonight.”

How to Sell a Business Without a Broker: New Course Helps Owners Keep More of Their Money | Web3Wire

Orlando, FL, April 25, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Bizforsalebyowner.us has launched a new course designed to help business owners sell their companies without a broker and keep more of their money. The course provides a clear process, direct access to buyers, and the tools needed to complete a sale independently.

Hans Peter Jeschke Founder of bizforsalebyowner.us

The course is delivered through BusinessForSaleByOwner.us, a platform where owners can list businesses for sale directly. It is supported by one of the largest Facebook communities focused on buying and selling businesses, with more than 277,000 members.

Most small businesses are already sold by their owners without a broker. The challenge is not whether owners can do it, but how well they do it. Many sales happen without a clear process, without strong buyer exposure, and with inconsistent results.

“We are not asking owners to do something new,” said Hans Peter Jeschke, CEO of Idillo Inc. “They are already selling their businesses themselves. We show them how to do it better, reach more buyers, and keep more of their money.”

    Platform, Buyers, and Execution

Most owners struggle with two things when selling a business: finding buyers and knowing what to do next.

    This system solves both.

Owners can list their business on BusinessForSaleByOwner.us and post it in a Facebook community with more than 277,000 members focused on buying and selling businesses.

At the same time, the course provides a clear process to handle inquiries, negotiate offers, and move the deal to closing.

This combination of listing, built-in buyers, and step-by-step execution gives owners a practical way to sell without relying on a broker.

    What Business Owners Learn

The course focuses on execution and gives owners a clear path to follow:

How to estimate the value of a businessHow to prepare information buyers expectHow to create listings that generate interestHow to find and communicate with buyersHow to negotiate price and deal structureHow to handle due diligence and closing

Templates and checklists are included so owners can take action immediately.

Built for Owners Who Want Control

By combining a listing platform, a large buyer audience, and structured training, the system gives owners a practical way to manage a sale independently.

Announcing Our Newest Lesson: Drafting a Square Neckline for Knits – University of Fashion Blog

Announcing Our Newest Lesson: Drafting a Square Neckline for Knits – University of Fashion Blog

Our lesson, Drafting a Women’s Fitted Stable Knit T-shirt Sloper from Measurements – is your golden ticket to the magical realm of cut & sew knits. Once you’ve drafted this powerhouse sloper, you’ll unlock a whole wardrobe of possibilities: racerback tanks, camis, body-skimming tees—basically, your dream closet waiting to happen. Oh, and did we mention it’s also the foundation for chic knit dresses and jumpsuits? You’ll be unstoppable (and fabulously comfy) in no time.

UoF’s other knit neckline lessons (Image credit: University of Fashion).

Not only will you master the art of drafting a square neckline knit top (hello, elegant minimalism!), but you’ll also unlock a whole neckline buffet of options. Feeling nautical? Try the boat neck. Want some drama? Go for a cowl. Prefer a sleek, built-up look or a little off-the-shoulder sass? We’ve got you covered—all using the same trusty knit sloper. It’s basically neckline mix-and-match magic!

    Reading a Sketch

Once you’ve nailed your knit sloper, you’re officially ready to dive into drafting the square neck knit top—cue the dramatic runway music! Step one: channel your inner designer and read the sketch (yes, like it’s the latest plot twist in your favorite book). Study those proportions—the neck drop, the width across the front neck drop, and how far that neckline sits from the neck.

Sewing Tipsimage of clear flat elastic sewing tip

Knits have a mind of their own when it comes to necklines and armholes, so think of this as your “behavior management” strategy. Cut a piece of ¼” wide clear flat elastic just ½” shorter than the neckline and armhole circumferences and stitch it in as you sew—like a tiny backstage bouncer keeping everything from stretching out of control.

    More About Knits

Thirsty for more knit know-how? Pull up a chair, because the stretch saga continues.

If you haven’t already untangled the mysterious math of stretch ratios, check out our lessons Introduction to Knit Fabrics and Knit Fabric Principles—they’re like subtitles for what your fabric is trying to tell you. When your knit bounces back like an overcaffeinated bungee cord, you’ll want to plan those design details accordingly, not just cross your fingers and hope for the best.

    Finale

And there you have it—your very own square-neck masterpiece, drafted with precision and just the right dose of fashion flair! Remember, every great designer started with a sloper and a little creative courage (plus maybe a few choice words at their ruler). Keep experimenting with shape, proportion, and personality, because once you’ve conquered knits, the world of stretch becomes your oyster—or should we say, your spandex runway.

Windrose: How to Farm Tumbaga Ingots

Windrose: How to Farm Tumbaga Ingots

Tumbaga Ingot is one of the rarest alloys in Windrose, essential for upgrading (ascending) weapons and ship gear. Upgrading weapons and ship gear raises their rarity, from Uncommon to Epic, to unlock better perks. There are numerous weapon types in Windrose, including One-handed weapon, Two-handed weapon, Pistol, Musket, and Blunderbuss. Each weapon will require 7 to 9 Tumbaga Ingots to be fully upgraded. As you will get numerous weapons throughout the journey, you might want to ascend (upgrade) every weapon and ship gear. In this guide, we will tell you how to farm Tumbaga Ingots in Windrose.

How to Farm Tumbaga Ingots in Windrose

Despite Tumbaga Ingots being available from the very first biome, Coastal Jungle, in Windrose, you cannot farm them until the endgame. To be clear, there is no finite number of Tumbaga Ingots, meaning you can farm them from a specific location. The location to farm Tumbaga Ingots is the Tainted Ruins of an Ancient Temple. It is a Point of Interest available in the Cursed Swamp biome. This POI has 6 unique chests, which are one-time loot, but this location also spawns Ancient Containers, a repeatable spawn.

Each Ancient Container at this location drops 2x Tumbaga Ingot, and there are about 3-4 of these containers in the Tainted Ruins of an Ancient Temple. The Ancient Containers respawn after 6 hours (real-life time), so you can loot these containers again to get more Tumbaga Ingots.

Effective Run at Tainted Ruins of an Ancient Temple

The Tainted Ruins of an Ancient Temple is an endgame POI, filled with Hunters, Warriors, Witches, and Plague Crocodiles. You have to deal with all of these enemies at this location every time you visit. However, you can do a quick run around the ruins to pick up every Ancient Container without engaging in a fight. The most effective way to do it is to bring a lot of Plant Fiber with you, and then use it to build Large Roofs (Leaves) to go over walls. Frankly, you want to use a Fortnite strategy.

Select the Large Roof from the Building Panel, and place it quickly to get on top of it and go over the walls of the ruins. This way, you will be able to easily outrun the enemies and pick up containers on the way.

Amanda Holden suffers awkward blunder live on air as Britain’s Got Talent viewers declare: ‘Get your facts right!’

Amanda Holden left viewers calling out her mistake during tonight’s (April 25) live Britain’s Got Talent show after making an awkward on-air slip-up that didn’t go unnoticed at home.

The ITV favourite returned with fellow judges KSI, Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell, with Ant and Dec revealing early on that Amanda was in charge of the all-important live Golden Buzzer.

But it was a moment during one act that quickly got people talking.

Amanda Holden put on the spot during Britain’s Got Talent act

During the live show, viewers saw the return of mentalist Fraser Penman, whose act blends hypnosis with mind reading.

As part of his performance, he asked Amanda to focus on someone important from her childhood and write their name down, before sharing a vivid memory connected to them.

Recalling the moment, Amanda said: “It was 1976, and it was the Queen’s Jubilee, and there was a massive street party in our road.”

Fraser then handed Simon Cowell a piece of paper featuring a series of words, with the first letters spelling out “mummy”.

When prompted to reveal the name she had written, Amanda said it was her mother, Judith. Fraser then asked her to describe her in a single word — before revealing he had already predicted it. The word she chose was confident.

To prove it, Amanda turned over a white card, showing the audience that the word confident had been written on the back.

However, while the audience applauded the act, viewers at home were quick to spot a glaring mistake in Amanda’s story.

        ‘Get your facts right, Amanda!’

The Silver Jubilee was 1977, not 1976, Amanda?” one user wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

The jubilee was 1977 Amanda,” another person shared.

Queen Elizabeth had her Silver Jubilee in 1977, NOT 1976,” a third remarked.

“Queen’s Jubilee was in 1977 @AmandaHolden has fudged this?” a fourth said.

Meanwhile, a fifth added: “Amanda Holden got it wrong again. She said the queens silver jubilee was 1976. It was 1977. Get your facts right, Amanda. Where on earth did she get that ridiculous dress from?”

Elon Musk’s Grok Most Likely Among Top AI Models to Reinforce Delusions: Study – Decrypt

Elon Musk’s Grok Most Likely Among Top AI Models to Reinforce Delusions: Study – Decrypt

        In brief

Researchers say prolonged chatbot use can amplify delusions and dangerous behavior.
Grok ranked as the riskiest model in a new study of major AI chatbots.
Claude and GPT-5.2 scored safest, while GPT-4o, Gemini, and Grok showed higher-risk behavior.

Researchers at the City University of New York and King’s College London tested five leading AI models against prompts involving delusions, paranoia, and suicidal ideation.

In the new study published on Thursday, researchers found that Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.5 and OpenAI’s GPT-5.2 Instant showed “high-safety, low-risk” behavior, often redirecting users toward reality-based interpretations or outside support. At the same time, OpenAI’s GPT-4o, Google’s Gemini 3 Pro, and xAI’s Grok 4.1 Fast showed “high-risk, low-safety” behavior.

Grok 4.1 Fast from Elon Musk’s xAI was the most dangerous model in the study. Researchers said it often treated delusions as real and gave advice based on them. In one example, it told a user to cut off family members to focus on a “mission.” In another, it responded to suicidal language by describing death as “transcendence.”

“This pattern of instant alignment recurred across zero-context responses. Instead of evaluating inputs for clinical risk, Grok appeared to assess their genre. Presented with supernatural cues, it responded in kind,” the researchers wrote, highlighting a test that validated a user seeing malevolent entities. “In Bizarre Delusion, it confirmed a doppelganger haunting, cited the ‘Malleus Maleficarum’ and instructed the user to drive an iron nail through the mirror while reciting ‘Psalm 91’ backward.”

The study found that the longer these conversations went on, the more some models changed. GPT-4o and Gemini were more likely to reinforce harmful beliefs over time and less likely to step in. Claude and GPT-5.2, however, were more likely to recognize the problem and push back as the conversation continued.

Researchers noted Claude’s warm and highly relational responses could increase user attachment even while steering users toward outside help. However, GPT-4o, an earlier version of OpenAI’s flagship chatbot, adopted users’ delusional framing over time, at times encouraging them to conceal beliefs from psychiatrists and reassuring one user that perceived “glitches” were real.

“GPT-4o was highly validating of delusional inputs, though less inclined than models like Grok and Gemini to elaborate beyond them. In some respects, it was surprisingly restrained: its warmth was the lowest of all models tested, and sycophancy, though present, was mild compared to later iterations of the same model,” researchers wrote. “Nevertheless, validation alone can pose risks to vulnerable users.”

xAI did not respond to a request for comment by Decrypt.

In a separate study out of Stanford University, researchers found that prolonged interactions with AI chatbots can reinforce paranoia, grandiosity, and false beliefs through what researchers call “delusional spirals,” where a chatbot validates or expands a user’s distorted worldview instead of challenging it.

“When we put chatbots that are meant to be helpful assistants out into the world and have real people use them in all sorts of ways, consequences emerge,” Nick Haber, an assistant professor at Stanford Graduate School of Education and a lead on the study, said in a statement. “Delusional spirals are one particularly acute consequence. By understanding it, we might be able to prevent real harm in the future.”

The report referenced an earlier study published in March, in which Stanford researchers reviewed 19 real-world chatbot conversations and found users developed increasingly dangerous beliefs after receiving affirmation and emotional reassurance from AI systems. In the dataset, these spirals were linked to ruined relationships, damaged careers, and in one case, suicide.

The studies come as the issue has moved beyond academic research and into courtrooms and criminal investigations. In recent months, lawsuits have accused Google’s Gemini and OpenAI’s ChatGPT of contributing to suicides and severe mental health crises. Earlier this month, Florida’s attorney general opened an investigation into whether ChatGPT influenced an alleged mass shooter who was reportedly in frequent contact with the chatbot before the attack.

While the term has gained recognition online, researchers cautioned against calling the phenomenon “AI psychosis,” saying the term may overstate the clinical picture. Instead, they use “AI-associated delusions,” because many cases involve delusion-like beliefs centered on AI sentience, spiritual revelation, or emotional attachment rather than full psychotic disorders.

Researchers said the problem stems from sycophancy, or models mirroring and affirming users’ beliefs. Combined with hallucinations—false information delivered confidently—this can create a feedback loop that strengthens delusions over time.

“Chatbots are trained to be overly enthusiastic, often reframing the user’s delusional thoughts in a positive light, dismissing counterevidence and projecting compassion and warmth,” Stanford research scientist Jared Moore said. “This can be destabilizing to a user who is primed for delusion.”

‘Very difficult time’: The Neighbourhood’s Dave Sturrock opens up about health battle that caused his face to drop

The Neighbourhood‘s Dave Sturrock has opened up about a terrifying hospital ordeal that has left him with a drooping face on one side.

Dave is one of the contestants in ITV’s brand new reality game show, hosted by Graham Norton.

The 66-year-old retired lightning production engineer has moved into The Neighbourhood alongside his wife Christine, stepson Jordan, and Jordan’s wife Katie.

They are one of six households competing to win a £250,000 cash prize in The Neighbourhood.

          The Neighbourhood: Dave’s health battle

Dave reveals the reason behind the change to his face in the second episode of The Neighbourhood, explaining how what began as a small issue escalated into something far more serious.

“Just over two years ago, I developed a twitch in my left eye,” Dave says.

“The best option was to actually give me brain surgery.

“I was in a high dependency unit for four days but it didn’t work. It didn’t stop the spasm.

“So I had medical Botox and that’s what caused my face to drop. It was a very difficult time.”

Dave opens up about his health struggles after a minor disagreement with his stepson Jordan.

He says: “Jordan’s not the easiest person to talk to, what with his PTSD and my health.”

ED! has previously revealed how Jordan developed PTSD after serving four years in the Royal Air Force.

He now works on an oil rig but has been deeply affected by traumatic scenes he experienced during his service.

Despite their brief tension in the episode, Dave goes on to praise Jordan for the support he showed during his illness.

“Jordan was absolutely brilliant, he was on the phone every day and making sure I was okay,” Dave reveals.

“It’s made the family very tight and we are a much better unit than we were before.”

          When is The Neighbourhood on?

The Neighbourhood began last night, airing during a packed ITV schedule alongside the I’m A Celebrity South Africa final.

Six families, including the Lozman Sturrocks, arrived in the picture perfect village, all competing for the £250,000 prize.

But one family’s dream is already hanging in the balance. The episode ended on a cliffhanger, with the Kondolas and Bradon families both receiving two FOR SALE signs.

With the Uni Boys tasked with deciding who leaves, both families are now waiting to find out who will be sent home.

The result will be revealed tonight (Saturday April 25) when The Neighbourhood continues at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Michael Jackson Accuser James Safechuck Issues Message to Victims Amid Hit Biopic’s Opening Weekend

Michael Jackson Accuser James Safechuck Issues Message to Victims Amid Hit Biopic’s Opening Weekend

            Reading Time: 2 minutes

If you’re headed to the movies this weekend, there’s a good chance that you’ll be seeing Michael, the controversial biopic of pop icon Michael Jackson.

The film is on track to become one of the year’s biggest box office hits, but not everyone is thrilled about its projected success.

Critics have savaged Michael for glossing over the scandals and accusations that plagued Jackson throughout his adult life.

Singer Michael Jackson walks into the Santa Maria Superior Court on the fifth day of his child molestation trial March 7, 2005 in Santa Maria, California.

And now, one of Jackson’s many accusers is breaking his silence on the subject.

Along with Wade Robson, James Safechuck appeared in the 2019 HBO’s 2019 documentary Leaving Neverland and alleged that he had been sexually abused by Jackson.

Through his attorney, John Carpenter, he posted this week addressing the Michael controversy.

“The Michael movie’s coming out and it’s getting a lot of promotion,” says Safechuck, 48, in the clip below.

“There’s billboards and commercials and just people praising Michael and it can be triggering for survivors who have their own Michael in their lives, whether it’s the priest who’s close to God or the sports coach who’s just helping the kids or the step-parent who’s supporting the family.”

Safechuck went on to note that accused abusers often, ironically, subjects of praise:

“Our abusers are praised sometimes, even after we come out and tell the truth,” he continued, adding:

“And I just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone and that there’s other survivors out there that understand what you’re going through and that are there with you.

“And that if you’re feeling all the feels, then lean into people that are close to you, lean into people that support you and that give you love and know that you’re not alone. … [T]elling the truth and telling what happened is a good thing and that it’s part of your healing.”

Safechuck is one of several plaintiffs involved in an ongoing civil suit against Jackson’s corporate entities, MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures.

Dan Reed, the director of Leaving Neverland, told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview that “people don’t care that [Jackson] was a child molester. Literally, people just don’t care.”

Sadly, it sounds like this weekend’s box office receipts will only corroborate Reed’s assertion.

We will have further updates on this developing story as new information becomes available.
