For many, The Muppets and Sesame Street are terrifying enough (and we can’t blame you, there’s just something so off about puppets!), so the added horrors to be found in My Friendly Neighborhood on Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere takes the scares to another level.
Developed by John and Evan Szynmanski, and published by DreadXP, My Friendly Neighborhood is a truly terrifying blend of FNAF-esque mascot horror with the ever-approaching zombie hordes.

Now available on Xbox – coming day-one to the Game Pass service – this release marks a first for My Friendly Neighborhood on console, after being only PC-based since its debut in July 2023.
Inspired by the aforementioned kids puppetry shows, as well as the countless mascot horror titles out there, in this first-person survival horror you will venture to a closed film studio. The cast of The Friendly Neighborhood have been put into retirement for many years now, and the sets all but abandoned.
That is, until the puppets announce themselves – ever so briefly – onto the stage once again. Suddenly, there’s a mystery to be solved!
Featuring a Resident Evil-style grid-based inventory to store your many tools, including a range of wacky weapons such as a Rolodexer, shotgun and more, My Friendly Neighborhood on Game Pass is a little bit more action-heavy than other survival horror titles. But that doesn’t mean it’s short of scares!

Something is amiss with everyone’s favorite Saturday morning puppet show! For years, the colorful cast of The Friendly Neighborhood delighted audiences across the globe with their cooky capers and educational adventures. However, as time went on and interest waned, the production studio found themselves out of money and closed their doors for good. Toy sales would dwindle, and birthday balloons and cakes would find new mascots. In time, the once household names would fade into increasingly niche fandoms. Until one night years later, the studio unexpectedly clicks back to life and starts broadcasting The Friendly Neighborhood. TV sets across the globe flicker for a moment before the familiar puppets return for a surprise encore! But this isn’t your typical family-friendly holiday special… are those puppets eating each other!?
