It’s that time of the week again, Bitizens! There is a new challenge ribbon to be earned, and a new milestone to be unlocked. And that means the brand new Love Bug Challenge in BitLife is live! This is one is not too hard, especially for experienced players, but it does involve a bit of work.

The Love Bug Challenge in BitLife is actually kind of gross, so be warned. You’re going to have to get down and dirty in the mobile game this week. Keep reading on to find out what to do.
How to complete the Love Bug Challenge in BitLife

The first step is the easiest, just make a character of any gender and base them in Los Angeles in the good ole’ USA.
How to become a Microbiologist in Bitlife
The process is basically the same as a Marine Biologist, you just need to get the right degree. Focus early on in life on Smarts and Looks, and this will set you up nicely for later. Go to the Library and Gym via the Mind&Body menu as often as you can.
Once you have high smarts, getting the degree is easy. You need to age up and get to University as fast as you can, so get through the early days of school ASAP. Once you have the option to pick a major, pick Biology.
After making it through the schooling process, just keep checking the job board under Occupation until Microbiologist pops up. Once you’ve applied and made it in, you’re good to move on.
Now, it’s time for the real RNG hell to be unleashed. While you’re in university, you can start building lovers, just to speed things up. Once you start getting a stable of lovers together, it’s time to start spreading the love. Yes, I told you this challenge was a little gross.
How to get lovers and give them “gifts”
Getting lovers is done quickest through the Love option under Relationships. Click that, then click Hook Up. You will get an option to use protection, and (unlike in real life) you should choose not to use it. Seriously, that’s the key to the Love Bug Challenge in BitLife. You just sleep with a lot of people and eventually give out diseases like candy. Yes, I hated typing that sentence.
With enough persistence and luck, you can get the degree and the required number of other milestones all around the same time. If you get bad RNG, just keep hooking up and you’re basically done. Giving gifts to lovers is also done via the relationships menu.
How to Give a gift to a lover in BitLife
The process for giving gifts can be done once someone is formally listed as a Lover under Relationships. Simply click on their name and choose an option to give them a gift. Since you probably have very little money during this challenge, don’t worry about spending too much on it.
