Ghost of Yotei Most Requested Community Feature Inbound Next Week

While Sucker Punch Productions has been steady in pushing post-launch updates for Ghost of Yotei, they’ve usually focused on bug fixes more than anything else.

Well, that’s changing next week, as the developers are finally giving the player base the feature they’re requesting for the most since the game was released last month.

Alongside this new feature, there are also other bits of new stuff also being added all for free.

Ghost of Yotei New Game Plus Confirmed In Upcoming Update

Sony has announced that New Game+ is coming to Ghost of Yotei in an update scheduled for release on November 24.

Not only that, but this update will also add new charms, new Trophies, a harder difficulty mode, and more.

New harder difficulty options

Two new Trophies

New currency, “Ghost Flowers” that players can exchange with a new vendor for new items

30 new cosmetics, which includes new armor sets and weapon dyes

10 new charms

Players will be able to earn an additional tier of upgrades for your existing armor sets and weapons

Replay content post-game

New stat display

New accessibility options, including directional button remapping

New Photo Mode feature,s including shutter speed, composition grid, new filters

All of these will be part of the free title update.

Expect bug fixes and other improvements to be part of the update once it’s released.

If you haven’t played Ghost of Yotei yet, it’s a worthy sequel, as our review states, “Yotei is still a game in a series whose core celebrates the profound details of Samurai cinema and the artistry that gets conveyed in it.”

In other Ghost of Yotei news, Sucker Punch developers admitted to having cut some of the game’s most emotional content. Perhaps we’ll see it as DLC? No announcement of the sort has been made outside of the Legends multiplayer mode inbound next year.
