The legendary competitive platformer is making a triumphant return, launching first on PC (Steam) later this year (2025), followed by a console release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch in 2026.
The sequel to one of the most beloved indie party games of the last decade, SpeedRunners 2 promises the same cutthroat, fast-paced action fans adore, but dials everything up to eleven. SpeedRunners 2 retains the core concept that made the original a hit: outrun, outjump, and outsmart your rivals to knock them off-screen. It’s a frantic race where mastering movement – running, jumping, sliding, wall-jumping, and swinging with your grappling hook – is paramount.
You’ll navigate expertly crafted maps inspired by a retrofuture 1960s superhero utopia, utilising booster pads, opening and closing pathways, and deploying powerful pick-ups like missiles, traps, and freeze rays to gain the edge… or just trip up your mates.
