Fortnite has been through multiple changes when it comes to its overall design, UI, gameplay and even the core modes Epic caters to its player base. From the leap of graphics in Unreal Engine 5.1 using Nanites and Lumen, to the change in locker system and Battle Pass progression, players have been quite vocal about the said modifications made to the game.
Now one feature is something that players have been asking for from Epic ever since it was leaked in Creative mode and that’s a First Person View or First Person Camera in the game. Epic has finally announced that the feature is arriving but might not be exactly how players wanted.

With the launch of Chapter 5 Season 4, Epic released an experimental camera that allows players to play in FPV mode but was restricted from publishing islands using that.
Now since the camera is finally being made public, players are wondering if they’ll have the option to change their view mode in Battle Royale and Zero Build game modes. Keeping in mind that while using some weapons in BR lets you enter an FPV camera mode, it’s highly likely that Chapter 6 will finally bring about this change in core Fortnite gameplay.
Players who have been waiting for this update expressed their joy on socials with one user saying, “Something devious will be unleashed.” Another wrote, “It’s gonna be like a whole new game.”
However other Fortnite players expressed their concerns over the compatibility of non-moddable weapons with the first-person camera, and are hoping Epic finds a workaround for the same.
