Blizzard’s latest Diablo 4 patch has resulted in huge issues across all platforms for the massive RPG. Alongside massive crashes, the latest patch for the game has also made co-op even worse on every version of the game.

While the game’s developer have rapidly released patches to fix bugs and change rewards for the better, the horde of co-op bugs have yet to be squashed, and it still might take a long time until they’re exterminated.

Blizzard can’t exterminate Diablo 4 bugs

Since launch, co-op players have been met with issue after issue in Diablo 4, and it seems there’s no patch on the horizon. With the release of Vessel of Hatred and its subsequent patches, there was hope that the ongoing co-op issues would be fixed, but that’s not the case.

In response to a fan on Twitter, Diablo 4 global director of community Adam Fletcher explained that the team is struggling to fix co-op bugs. While Blizzard is still working hard to fix the bugs, it may still be a while until they’re squashed.

“I know the teams are looking into any co-op issues players may be experiencing on console but we haven’t had much success getting consistent repros on the issues thus making it a bit longer/harder to fix/troubleshoot,” Fletcher said on Twitter.

Nevertheless, Fletcher confirmed that the team is “continuing to work” on addressing co-op issues across PC and console. However, there’s no word on how long the feature will take to fix.

Commitment to improvement

Diablo 4, like any Diablo, has been met with waves of criticism since launch. With every update, there’s always issues, as expected of any game with a massive fanbase.

While Vessel of Hatred’s mediocre campaign also launched with some mediocre rewards, patches were released days after to remedy complaints. As it stands, Blizzard does seem intent on listening to fans to rapidly improve the game.
