A New Chapter in the World of Lost Eidolons
This is not a direct sequel, but a brand-new, standalone adventure set in the same rich universe. We were there back in 2023 when the original Lost Eidolons released on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Veil of the Witch takes that world and applies a completely new, tactical roguelite spin to it.
The story of Veil of the Witch begins as you, a warrior, are shipwrecked and left dying on a cursed island with no memory. A mysterious witch offers you another chance at life, but the price is high: you must become her champion and vanquish her enemies.
With no other way out, you must forge ahead to fulfill the witch’s bidding and perhaps reclaim the memories you’ve lost.
A Symphony of Tactics and Failure
This is a game of challenging, grid-based battles where every move and combo demands precision. You will need to leverage elemental effects to manipulate the battlefield, such as electrifying soaked enemies or igniting flammable terrain.
You must also account for enemy armour, striking with the right weapon to break through and gain the advantage.
Expect to be found recruiting allies and building a squad of five from nine versatile characters, each with their own unique skills, weapon sets, and personalities. As you level up, you can earn and upgrade over 200 skills to create deadly team compositions and game-winning builds.
Every death makes you stronger for the battles ahead. You can spend the rewards from your failed runs at the base camp to permanently boost your stats and promote characters to unlock powerful new skills. When you’re ready, you can dive back into the fight and push farther than ever before.
