Bold and the Beautiful has Brooke Logan frozen in shock when she opens the door to the design room for an eyeful of something awful on the CBS soap. Her daughter Hope Logan is sprawled out on the desk, with a partially disrobed Carter Walton hovering over her.
There is no mistaking that the two of them are about to do something that Brooke has done many times herself. But, this is an eye-opener that this stunned mother can’t unsee.
Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke Logan Chokes on Mirror Image of Herself
Bold and the Beautiful had Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) sleep her way around for decades. But she always wanted something better for her daughter. Still, this scene stuns Brooke into the reality that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is her apple that didn’t fall far from the tree.
Brooke often took the horizontal position in the past to get her way. So, all her questions about Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) sudden support of her daughter’s design line flood in.
Next week on Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke Logan can’t help but think she’s passed her bad behavior down to her daughter. Brooke will likely accuse Hope of using Carter to keep HFTF from getting the ax. Or, at best, she’ll ask her if this is what is going on. Still, Hope will find herself answering her mother’s questions when Monday rolls around.
B&B: Brooke Blames Herself
What Brooke Logan witnessed on Bold and the Beautiful last week likely fills her with guilt. While other mothers taught their daughters morals, Brooke might have said all the right words but modeled something different for Hope.
While Hope once hated how her mother operated with men, it seems she sees the perks in this today. Or at least that is how it will look to others once they find out about her and Carter.
Bold and the Beautiful likely has Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) as the leader of that pack. She will have a field day throwing accusations at her stepsister for using Carter. Steffy will likely have a few choice words of blame for Brooke Logan’s contribution to her daughter’s behaviors.
But the soap hasn’t established Brooke’s daughter’s end game yet. Maybe Hope Logan truly cares for Carter. Or if she used him at first, she could fall for him, after all, he says all the right words to appease her needs.
Bold and the Beautiful: Like Mother – Like Daughter
Bold and the Beautiful leaves the canvas open for Brooke’s soul-searching. While she likely wonders if her daughter is sleeping with Carter to keep HFTF afloat, Brooke knows others will too.
So, for that reason, she has no one to turn to after seeing her daughter in a compromising position at work. Usually, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is her rock when problems pop up. But Ridge would probably decipher this as Carter being seduced by his stepdaughter as a ploy to keep her HFTF line going.
So, Brooke Logan walking in on Carter and Hope likely makes her life miserable in the upcoming Bold and the Beautiful episodes. But most of all, what she witnessed has to be like looking in a mirror at herself after all these years of behaving the same way on the CBS soap.
