A new leak from a trusted source reports that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will receive three more round-based Zombies maps before support ends!
When Black Ops 6 first showcased its take on the iconic Zombies mode, we thought it looked like a return to form for Treyarch’s undead survival mode.
Now, in Season 2, we’ve already experienced two incredible launch maps, and two additional round-based experiences dropping as post-launch content. And we’re sure most fans will agree that Black Ops 6 is indeed that return to form we were hoping for.
But there’s still plenty of time before Call of Duty’s 2025 release arrives, and now one leaker is promising that there’s plenty more Zombies content on the way before it does!
Black Ops 6 Zombies Will Have 7 Maps, Leak Suggests
According to reliable Call of Duty insider TheGhostOfHope, Black Ops 6 will have three more round-based Zombies maps arriving by the end of its lifespan.
This should bring the total map count to a whopping seven Zombies maps – far more than any COD game in recent history.
Hope claims that only one upcoming season won’t contain a Zombies experience, and they expect our next map to arrive in Season 3.
It’s therefore likely (though by no means confirmed) that Season 4 or 5 will be the one without a map, leaving the finale to kick off in Black Ops 6’s final season.
We’ve not seen this many maps in one game since Black Ops 4 back in 2018, and even then, most of those Zombies experiences arrived as paid DLC.
If the rumor is true, there will never have been so much Zombies content available for free, and that’s not even where the good news ends.
TheGhostOfHope also claims that the Black Ops 6 maps may also carry over to this year’s release, which is rumored to be another Black Ops title. However, it appears that isn’t currently set in stone, so we recommend taking it with a pinch of salt.

If COD 2025 is indeed a Black Ops game, it’ll likely act similarly to MW3 (2023), which carried over content from the previous year’s MW2.
Therefore, we could see Zombies maps making the jump to the newer game, particularly if Treyarch continues to release new round-based experiences in this year’s premium title.
So far, every Black Ops 6 Zombies experience has been an excellent addition to the game in its own right – but some fans are already upset about the next map!
