Lego games always have that bit of endearing charm, so whether you’re a fully grown adult or a young child, you’ll want to get a playthrough in.

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has that charm in droves and throws in a plethora of nods to the movies, adding even more to the experience.

If you’re either a fan of previous Lego titles or just love Batman, you’re probably thinking about a pre-order, and there may be a little bonus if you do.

What is the Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight pre-order bonus?

The Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight pre-order bonus depends on which edition of the game you pick up.

If you pre-order the Standard Edition, you’ll receive The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit, giving Batman a Frank Miller-inspired look to stomp around Gotham in. Considering Legacy of the Dark Knight is already pulling from a wide spread of Batman history, this is a pretty fitting extra.

However, if you go for the Deluxe Edition, you’ll get that same The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit alongside three days of early access, letting you dive into the open-world Gotham adventure before the full release.

That early access is probably the biggest draw if you’re already sold on the game. Lego titles are usually pretty relaxed experiences, but if you’ve been anticipating it, you’ll want to know all about the characters, unlocks, secrets, vehicles, suits, and all the other brick-based goodies hiding away as soon as possible.

It’s also worth noting that the Deluxe Edition comes with more than just the pre-order extras. It includes the Legacy Collection, which features the Arkham Trilogy Pack, Batman Beyond Pack, and Party Music Pack, as well as the Mayhem Collection, which is set to bring Joker and Harley Quinn content, a new story mission, Mayhem Mode, and the Sinister Pack.

It’s worth noting that The Mayhem Collection is listed as post-launch DLC, releasing in September 2026, so you’ll have to wait a little longer to get into it.

Basically, if you’re only after the pre-order cosmetic, the Standard Edition does the job. But if you want to explore Gotham a little earlier, the Deluxe Edition is the one to go for.
