Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is looking like it may be a potential GOTY if everything revealed so far is anything to go by.
Naturally, if you’re even the remote bit interested in what WB Games has been cooking up for the Bat, you’ll want to know what editions are on offer.
At launch, there are two main Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight editions: the Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition. As you’d probably expect, one is the more bare bones choice, while the other piles on extra goodies that both fans of Lego games and particularly all things Batman will enjoy.
What is in the Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Standard Edition?
As you would expect, the Standard Edition is the most straightforward option and includes the full base game.
This means you’ll be able to play through Bruce Wayne’s journey to becoming Batman, taking on Gotham’s most recognisable villains while getting all of the usual Lego game goodness.
If you pre-order the Standard Edition, you’ll also receive The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit, inspired by the legendary comic book series.
What is in the Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Deluxe Edition?
The Deluxe Edition is obviously where things get a lot meatier. Alongside the full base game, it includes three days of early access, letting you start exploring brick-based Gotham on May 19, 2026, ahead of the main May 22 launch.
You’ll also get the Legacy Collection, which nets you the Arkham Trilogy Pack, Batman Beyond Pack, and Party Music Pack. Each of these themed packs includes seven suits, one for each playable character, as well as a Batmobile and five Batcave customization props.
If that wasn’t enough, it also includes the Mayhem Collection, a post-launch DLC drop set for September 2026. This brings a new story mission featuring Joker and Harley Quinn, the new Mayhem Mode, and the villain-themed Sinister Pack.
