PGA TOUR 2K25 Season 3 has arrived as a free update for all players on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. This new season is themed around the thrilling PGA TOUR FedExCup Playoffs and is packed with new challenges, a new shot type, a new featured Archetype, and a host of new rewards to earn.

Following on from the great additions in Season 2, this new season continues to deliver on the game’s incredible potential, aligning the in-game action with the real-world excitement of the season’s climax.
Welcome to the FedExCup Playoffs
The heart of Season 3 is its focus on the PGA TOUR’s dramatic season-ending playoffs. Players can look forward to new themed quests and Ranked Tours events that will roll out in alignment with the real-life championships, including the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind and the TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club.
The PGA TOUR Superstore will also be getting fresh apparel and equipment drops from brands like Adidas, Callaway, Hugo Boss, and Jordan, supported by “Wear and Earn” events that grant extra VC for equipping featured brands.
New Ways to Play and Progress
Season 3 introduces several new features and updates to help you fine-tune your game.
Spotlight on the Magician Archetype – This season’s featured Archetype is the Magician, a master of recovery shots who is perfect for players who often find themselves in sticky situations. This playstyle is embodied by cover athlete Max Homa. Creating a MyPLAYER with this Archetype will allow you to complete specific seasonal quests, and once you reach an 85 OVR, you’ll unlock the essential “Recovery” shot type.
Diamond Tier Clubs – Equipment Progression is getting a new max tier. You can now upgrade your clubs to the Diamond Tier, allowing your club fittings to have a continued and significant improvement on your overall club performance.
Locker Code Tuesdays – A new weekly community event is starting with Season 3. Every Tuesday, keep an eye on the PGA TOUR 2K social media channels for new Locker Codes. These 24-hour codes will offer new in-game rewards to help you level up your MyPLAYER.
The Clubhouse Pass and More Rewards
As with previous seasons, a brand-new Clubhouse Pass is now available, with both free and premium reward tiers. Free rewards include a Hugo Boss Zip up and a Wilson Staff Wedge.
In a great move for all players, a new, free shot type – the Lob Shot – can be unlocked by reaching Tier 25 of the free pass. This shot offers more control around the green and is a fantastic addition to your short game.
Players who upgrade to the Clubhouse Pass Premium can unlock even more exclusive rewards, including items from Original Penguin and Bad Birdie.
