Inside CBB host AJ Odudu’s love life – ‘romance’ with Strictly star; ‘pressure’ over relationship with virgin; cheating heartbreak

Celebrity Big Brother star AJ Odudu might have an in-demand career on television, but does she have a partner?

Here, we take a look at her relationship history and everything she’s said over the years…

Is AJ Odudu in a relationship?

Currently, AJ, whose birth name is Onatejiro Odudu, is said to be single.

However, she hasn’t been shy about discussing past relationships and where they went wrong.

    Strictly ‘romance’

In 2021, AJ, 37, competed on Strictly with dance partner Kai Widdrington.

The pair found success on the BBC show and made it to the final. However, AJ had no choice but to pull out at the last minute after she tore a ligament in her right ankle.

In an interview with The Sun, AJ admitted the pair had great chemistry and hinted at a ‘romance’ behind the scenes.

She said: “There’s a lot of passion, there’s a lot of chemistry, there’s a lot of romance, it’s thrilling!”

“And in practice, I could not look at Kai without bursting out into laughter,” AJ added.

“But now hopefully come Saturday night, I’m going to look at him eye to eye, look in love and it’s going to be amazing. But it is awkward!”

While no relationship between the two officially blossomed, an inside source told New magazine that Kai had been helping AJ deal with traumatic past relationships.

“AJ has been open about her past relationship history. She does find it hard to trust after previous partners cheated on her. But Kai is a really nice guy,” they said.

“He’s helping her get over any previous issues. So far he’s ticking all of the boxes.”

‘Pressure’ over relationship with a virgin

During the 2018 documentary Manhunting With My Mum, AJ’s connection with a 34-year-old church-goer named KC had viewers talking.

KC confessed that he had been saving his virginity for marriage and asked AJ about her situation during a picnic date in Nigeria.

“So have you had sex before? Or are you a chas (chastity) or virgin like me?” he said. In response, AJ shared: “I’m not chas like you, I don’t have my chastity belt and I’m not regretful of that.”

AJ explained she respected KC’s honesty and openness and explained she “would like to give this a try.” However, things started to get awkward when he asked AJ if she could teach him a few things “sexually”.

AJ admitted she had previously dated men who “couldn’t keep it in their trousers”, which is why “KC’s values make him oddly desirable”. Despite being a “nice guy”, she insisted the “problem is teaching someone and taking someone’s virginity”.

“That’s too much pressure for me and I don’t want to be responsible for it,” she added.

    Mystery man

That same year, AJ was said to be dating a man named Jordan Wiggin, with whom she went on a trip to Paris.

After she shared a snapshot of the pair in the romantic city online, a fan asked: “Your man?” While AJ hasn’t said anything publicly about AJ, she liked the comment, which implied they were dating.

However, neither confirmed they were a couple.

‘So much fun’ during holiday fling

The following year, AJ was introduced to 31-year-old mortgage broker Duke from Essex on The Celebrity First Dates Hotel special.

During their time on the show, the pair immediately hit it off. AJ praised their date, referring to Duke as a “10 out of 10”.

Duke revealed first that he wanted to see AJ again, and it seemed their relationship continued to blossom off-screen as they reportedly enjoyed a summer romance together.

AJ described the experience on the show as “so much fun”. However, their relationship didn’t appear to last.

‘I’ve been cheated on by three ex-boyfriends’

Also in 2019, AJ participated in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and opened up about how she had been unlucky with relationships.

Even though she didn’t name names, AJ said she had been “cheated on by three ex-boyfriends”.

“One of them was sleeping with my best friend,” she added.

During an appearance on the How To Fail Podcast, AJ explained she confronted the other woman about the affair when she found out, and later ended the relationship.

“To walk in on that, I was stunned. Seeing that was crazy. I wasn’t hysterical. I didn’t burst into tears or anything like that,” she said.

AJ insisted she needed to “gather all the information” from the woman and not her ex-boyfriend. “I want it from her, actually, because weirdly, in that moment, I trusted her more than I trusted him,” she continued.

“So, I asked her to put her clothes back on and follow me outside and answer all of my questions, how long had this been going on and whatever.”

After watching her leave, AJ said she “packed all my stuff and got a taxi and left”. However, despite ending the relationship, she admitted she had “years of tears and years of trauma away from him”.

Timeboost Debuts On Arbitrum One, Aiming To Mitigate Congestion, Spam, And Latency-Based Competition

Timeboost Debuts On Arbitrum One, Aiming To Mitigate Congestion, Spam, And Latency-Based Competition

    In Brief

Arbitrum introduced Timeboost on its Arbitrum One network, a new transaction ordering mechanism intended to address network congestion, transaction spam, and latency-based competition.

Timeboost Debuts On Arbitrum One, Aiming To Mitigate Congestion, Spam, And Latency-Based Competition

Layer 2 scaling solution Arbitrum introduced Timeboost on its Arbitrum One network, describing it as a new transaction ordering mechanism intended to address common issues such as network congestion, transaction spam, and latency-based competition.

Currently, Arbitrum follows a “First-Come, First-Serve” (FCFS) transaction ordering model, which provides a generally positive user experience and protects against certain kinds of harmful miner extractable value (MEV). However, according to the team, much of the MEV activity on the chain involves searchers investing heavily in faster hardware or spamming transactions to gain a competitive edge in latency-sensitive scenarios—behavior that contributes to unnecessary network strain.

Timeboost is designed as an alternative ordering approach that maintains the advantages of FCFS while also introducing a mechanism for reducing latency-related competition. It does this by implementing a sealed-bid, second-price auction system tied to an “express lane” within the Arbitrum sequencer. Transactions submitted through this express lane are sequenced without delay, while others face a small, predefined delay—currently set at 200 milliseconds. Auction winners gain exclusive, temporary access to the express lane, allowing them to avoid the delay and have their transactions prioritized.

The introduction of Timeboost is expected to allow ecosystem participants—especially chain operators and advanced users such as searchers—to engage in MEV capture in a more structured, less disruptive way. Instead of investing in hardware or engaging in spam to compete, participants can allocate resources toward bidding for transaction priority. For chain owners, this may also introduce a potential revenue stream derived from the MEV already being generated on their platforms.

Importantly, Timeboost is an optional feature that can be adopted by Arbitrum chains with either centralized or decentralized sequencer models. While the full decentralized design is still in development, the current centralized implementation is publicly available and has been proposed to the Arbitrum DAO to allow earlier deployment. The platform emphasizes that even with Timeboost enabled, the overall block time on Arbitrum chains will remain fast—continuing at 250 milliseconds.

    Timeboost Explained: Purpose And Implementation

Timeboost is described as a transaction ordering mechanism used by Arbitrum chains. It establishes the set of rules that sequencers must follow when organizing user-submitted transactions. While the current system operates under a FCFS model, Timeboost introduces modifications intended to preserve many of FCFS’s advantages while addressing some of its operational inefficiencies. In the near term, the system will operate through a single sequencer, though support for decentralized sequencers enforcing Timeboost rules is planned.

The sequencer’s core function on an Arbitrum chain is to receive valid transactions, arrange them based on the transaction ordering policy, and then distribute the finalized order through a live feed and in compressed form to the chain’s data availability layer. Timeboost builds on this process by integrating three key elements. First, it introduces an “express lane” that enables qualifying transactions to be processed immediately upon arrival. Second, it utilizes an off-chain auction—conducted by an autonomous system—to determine which participant controls the express lane during a defined time interval. Lastly, a smart contract deployed on-chain records the auction results and manages the distribution of proceeds, acting as the authoritative source of truth.

The auction cycle is structured around a default 60-second round. Transactions not submitted through the express lane face an intentional delay of 200 milliseconds to their timestamp, which may result in their inclusion in the subsequent block. This artificial delay, combined with the continued 250-millisecond block time, ensures the system remains responsive while enabling more efficient transaction ordering.

One of Timeboost’s goals is to maintain a user-friendly experience, which Arbitrum chains are known for, while resolving limitations of pure FCFS ordering. The system does not grant auction winners control over transaction visibility or block ordering—auction winners only gain a temporary advantage in transaction processing, not privileged insight into the mempool. Because the mempool remains private, the risks associated with front-running and sandwich attacks are still mitigated.

Timeboost is also framed as a way to improve network efficiency and introduce a novel value capture mechanism. Instead of relying on hardware advantages or spamming to gain transaction priority—a behavior that often leads to network congestion—participants can now bid for time-based advantages. This shift is expected to reduce MEV-driven network spam and redirect competition toward the auction process.

For chain operators, Timeboost offers potential economic benefits. Proceeds from the auctions can be collected in native gas tokens and redirected to support applications, reward users, or fund development. This introduces a new way to align chain activity with ecosystem growth.

Timeboost is entirely optional and can be enabled at the discretion of individual Arbitrum chains. Chains can continue operating normally without it, but those that opt in can customize its configuration to suit specific use cases.

The impact of Timeboost varies by user group. For everyday users, the changes are minimal—non-express lane transactions may experience a slight increase in processing time, up to approximately 450 milliseconds, but protections against malicious MEV behaviors remain intact due to the use of a private mempool. For chain owners, the system provides a potential revenue stream and a new mechanism to enhance token utility. And for sophisticated on-chain participants, such as arbitrageurs and searchers, Timeboost opens the door to alternative strategies—such as buying express lane access or monetizing unused slots—that could prove more cost-effective than previous MEV tactics reliant on infrastructure or speed alone.

EastEnders follow-up: As Sonia and Bianca leave Walford, here’s whether they’ve gone for good

This evening’s EastEnders (Thursday, April 17), saw both Sonia and Bianca leave Walford in Terry Cant’s boat.

Sonia opened her eyes up to Terry’s true colours and ended up heading to Bali with Bex and Bianca instead.

But, have Bianca and Sonia left for good? Here’s all we know!

Sonia chose Bianca over Terry (Credit: BBC)

      Bianca and Sonia leave EastEnders

This evening in EastEnders, Sonia was ready to leave Walford for Bali with her dad Terry Cant.

But, she started to have her doubts when Bianca turned up and told her that Terry had hurt her wrist the other night while spouting some vile words to her.

Sonia then headed to the prison to visit Rocky (who she originally believed to be her dad years ago), and asked for his advice.

Back in Walford, at her party, Sonia said goodbye to everyone before spotting Bianca outside. She then rushed out and explained that she was still leaving but not with Terry.

She was going to stay with Whit for a bit before figuring out where to go from there. Terry, of course, didn’t take this well…

Bex then got back at Terry by locking him behind a door, letting Sonia know that they could still go to Bali without him as she’d printed off the tickets. Sonia then invited Bianca to join them.

With Bianca asking George to only let Terry out after three hours, the sisters headed off on the back of Terry’s boat which was being towed. Sonia then pulled out the trumpet and said a final goodbye…

Here’s whether Sonia and Bianca have left EastEnders for good

Well, as it stands, Sonia’s exit looks to be a lengthy one with Natalie Cassidy deciding to leave the soap to work on other projects.

Patsy Palmer’s stint as Bianca was only ever meant to be a temporary one for Sonia’s exit, with the star also now leaving the show.

However, speaking on Saturday Kitchen in March, Natalie Cassidy admitted that there is a chance she could return to the soap in the future.

She shared: “‘I’m very, very grateful that the door’s been left open. You never know. But it’s nice to rest characters as well.”

As for Bianca, Patsy Palmer has been known to come and go from the soap as the character over the years so it wouldn’t surprise anyone if she did return once again in the future.

Patsy is currently starring on Celebrity Big Brother while Natalie Cassidy has taken to the world of presenting… But, a Walford return isn’t off the cards.

AERGO’s Turnaround and Binance Delisting Dynamics

      0
AERGO’s Turnaround and Binance Delisting Dynamics

$AERGO demonstrated remarkable resilience following its delisting from the Binance spot market on March 28, 2025, skyrocketing 10x to $0.57, bolstered by activity on Upbit and Binance Futures. This unexpected turnaround, echoed by significant price increases in $ARDR (280%) and $ARK (60%) during Binance’s April “Vote to Delist” campaign, underscores how Binance’s Monitoring Tags and delisting events can create volatile, high-risk, high-reward scenarios for traders.

      $AERGO’s Price Rebound

On March 21, 2025, Binance announced AERGO’s spot market delisting, effective March 28, sending its price down 6% to $0.06845. While most delisted coins tend to fade into obscurity, $AERGO, the native token of a hybrid blockchain platform backed by Samsung’s Blocko, managed to defy expectations. After being delisted by Binance, $AERGO skyrocketed 10x to a peak of $0.57 with a $920 million volume surge before being relisted on Binance Futures.

Compare this event to other delisted tokens like BAL and CREAM, removed on April 16, 2025. They plummeted, with $CREAM losing a significant market cap.

AERGO’s edge? High Upbit volume sustained liquidity with $250M on 9/4, as stated by GEM DETECTER, turning a delisting dip into a speculative frenzy. Traders who spotted this pattern-volume spikes on South Korean exchanges, caught a massive wave, proving that not all delistings spell doom.

Parallel Surges of $ARDR and $ARK

A similar script played out with $ARDR and $ARK, included in Binance’s second “Vote to Delist” campaign from April 10-16, 2025. Despite receiving 3.6% and 5.8% of votes, respectively, neither $ARDR nor $ARK has confirmed delisting, yet their prices experienced a significant surge.

AERGO’s Turnaround and Binance Delisting Dynamics

      Source: Coingecko

Unlike other tokens in the 2nd “Vote to Delist” Batch like $PDA and $VOXEL, which saw substantial declines, $ARDR surged 280% to $0.15 by April 16, with a 1,100% volume spike. $ARK, less dramatic, likely climbed to $0.52, increasing by nearly 60%. Both these tokens are trader favorites on Bithumb, where high trading volumes sustain liquidity. Similar to $AERGO’s Upbit-driven rally ($250M volume on April 9), Bithumb’s ARDR/KRW and ARK/KRW pairs saw massive activity.

However, the hype didn’t last. $AERGO crashed 63% to $0.18 within 24 hours. $ARDR likely dipped 10-15%, while $ARK stagnated or slid slightly. These corrections highlight the volatility of delist-driven pumps. When momentum fades, traders chasing news often suffer, particularly if projects lack strong fundamentals.

      Leveraging Binance’s Risk Indicators

Through the cases above, Binance’s Monitoring Tags can be considered a goldmine for traders. These flags mark coins at risk of delisting due to low liquidity, weak development, or regulatory red flags.

The Vote to Delist campaign, like the one ending April 16, amplifies volatility, creating pump-and-dump setups. To capitalize, track tagged coins via Binance announcements, then check Bithumb and Upbit volume on CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko. A surge, like in $AERGO, $ARDR, and $ARK, often precedes a rally.

Don’t forget to stay proactive: Monitor Binance Square for delist updates and Korean Upbit and Bithumb exchange data for volume clues. $AERGO, $ARDR, and $ARK show what’s possible, but timing and risk management are everything.

Fantastic Four: First Steps Trailer Reveals A Game Of Thrones And Doctor Who Veteran In The Cast – SlashFilm

Fantastic Four: First Steps Trailer Reveals A Game Of Thrones And Doctor Who Veteran In The Cast – SlashFilm

A beloved British character actor has been added to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and we’ve just been offered our first glimpse at the man in action. Disney and Marvel Studios have only just released a brand new trailer for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” which offers our first look at the film’s Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). But it also opens with a glimpse at “Game of Thrones” and “Doctor Who” alum Mark Gatiss, who has an interesting role to play in this summer’s superheroic proceedings.

The trailer begins with a speech from the stage of a fictional talk show called “The Ted Gilbert Show,” with Gatiss portraying Ted Gilbert. While we don’t get to see a ton of him in the footage, save for the opening chunk, Gatiss is very convincing as a retro-futuristic version of a ’60s talk show host, that much is certain. His function is to sort of lay out how the Fantastic Four came to be, which is a nice way to get around making this another origin story movie like director Josh Trank’s ill-fated “Fantastic Four” from 2015.

Gatiss may not be a household name or anything like that in the U.S., but he’s better known in the U.K. and, even for American audiences, he’s been anchoring quality programming for some time. Aside from the aforementioned role as Tycho on “Game of Thrones,” he’s also been creatively involved with the “Doctor Who” franchise, both as a performer and writer. Audiences will likewise know him as Mycroft Holmes in BBC’s beloved “Sherlock” series (which Gatiss co-created as well). Not for nothing, but Gatiss even had a role in Netflix’s “3 Body Problem” series adaptation.

Mark Gatiss provides depth to an already stacked cast

We could go on and on listing Gatiss’ credits, which also include British favorites such as “The League of Gentlemen” and his many, many smaller roles in big movies, among them “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning.” Point being, he’s joining an already very stacked cast led by Pedro Pascal (“The Mandalorian”) as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby (“Hobbs & Shaw”) as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn (“Stranger Things”) as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (“The Bear”) as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

Matt Shakman (“WandaVision”) is in the director’s chair for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” which is just one of two huge movies Marvel has coming out this summer, along with “Thunderbolts*” (which is kicking off the summer box office season in early May). Both movies are facing enormous pressure to deliver the goods, so this trailer has a lot of weight to carry. As for the story at hand? Per the official synopsis:

Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, [the Fantastic Four] must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.

Indeed, this movie will finally be delivering a more comics-accurate Galactus after the disaster that was “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.” So, there’s a lot going on, and it would be easy to gloss over a game show host in all of it. But the fact that even a character that far down the call sheet is being played by a compelling actor is a good sign.

“The Fantastic Four: First Steps” hits theaters on July 25, 2025.

Cloud Gaming Meets Blockchain: Star Atlas & Shaga Offer Up to $100K for Creators | NFT News Today

Cloud Gaming Meets Blockchain: Star Atlas & Shaga Offer Up to 0K for Creators | NFT News Today

A new collaboration between blockchain-based MMO Star Atlas and decentralized cloud gaming platform Shaga aims to break down hardware barriers for gamers and creators alike. The two projects are rolling out a campaign titled “Streaming With Shaga,” offering rewards of up to $100,000.

Designed to showcase how high-fidelity Web3 games like Star Atlas can run smoothly on mobile devices without a gaming PC, this event highlights a growing push to make blockchain gaming accessible to wider audiences.

Bringing Web3 Gaming to Phones and Tablets

Star Atlas, developed on the Solana blockchain and powered by Unreal Engine 5, typically requires high-performance PCs to handle its detailed graphics and complex economy. Under this new initiative, creators can broadcast gameplay from their PC to viewers’ phones or tablets via Shaga’s cloud platform—no powerful computer required on the viewer’s end. In essence, Star Atlas becomes a game anyone can try out from virtually anywhere, as long as they have a smartphone or tablet.

$100K Reward Pool and Airdrop Angle

Central to the campaign is a substantial reward pool that combines $ATLAS tokens, Star Atlas ships, and GLOB points (Shaga’s native reward currency). Participants who register and are accepted into the campaign can earn various digital assets and tokens. GLOB points, in particular, may be of special interest: they’re designed to lead to future airdrops and unlockable perks, reflecting a broader shift in Web3 gaming toward giving active community members meaningful, long-term incentives.

An upfront submission bonus sweetens the deal for creators who move quickly. The next 50 qualifying participants that post a short “Shaga in Action” clip by April 21, 2025, can secure an additional Star Atlas XS Ship—valued at around $135—and $50 in USDC. These lucky early adopters then move on to compete for the full prize pool once the official campaign starts on April 23 running through May 7.

        Source: Star Atlas

        How Creators Can Qualify

Interested creators need at least 100 followers on major social platforms (e.g., X, Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok). They must have streamed at least four times within the past four months. To enter, they’ll record a 30- to 60-second video demonstrating how one of their viewers uses the Shaga app on a mobile device to access Star Atlas in real-time. Once the video is ready, they must post it on X, tagging @playonshaga and including the phrase “Streaming with Shaga.”

Accepted creators gain access to all of Star Atlas’ in-game assets, enabling them to showcase everything from starships to complex market mechanics. Moreover, each approved participant is promised 100,000 GLOB points, setting the stage for future token airdrops or other unlockable rewards within Shaga’s ecosystem.

        Star Atlas: Paving a Way

Star Atlas is a futuristic grand strategy game set in the year 2620, inviting players to explore deep space, conquer new territories, and develop a thriving, player-driven economy. Developed on the Solana blockchain, it delivers fast and affordable transactions, while blending stunning Unreal Engine 5 graphics with decentralized asset ownership.

In Star Atlas, spaceships, virtual land, and in-game characters function as NFTs, meaning they can be bought, sold, or traded on marketplaces like Serum DEX. Players can jump into mining, engage in epic combat, and even shape the political landscape through Decentralized Autonomous Corporations (DACs).

A dual-token system fuels every interaction: $ATLAS covers in-game transactions, while $POLIS drives governance, letting the community make critical policy decisions.

With the help of Shaga’s decentralized cloud platform, Star Atlas hopes to reach an even broader audience by streaming its high-end gaming experience to just about any device. It’s a step toward a Web3 future where top-tier games aren’t restricted by hardware requirements—opening the door for more people to explore.

Tempopo is a delightful new puzzle game from Witch Beam – the award-winning Aussie developers behind Unpacking and Assault Android Cactus.

It is available today on Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, this charming adventure invites you to conduct adorable, chaotic creatures through beautiful sky islands.

Best of all for subscribers? Tempopo launches Day One onto Xbox Game Pass!

This means Game Pass members on Console, PC, and Cloud can jump straight into this musical garden puzzle at no extra cost. The game also supports Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning one digital purchase grants access on both Xbox and PC, with progress syncing between them.

Rescue the Flowers, Conduct the Tempopo

In Tempopo, disaster has struck Hana’s garden! Her magical, musical flowers have been scattered across a sky full of vibrant islands. It’s up to you to help her enlist the aid of the titular Tempopo – cute but chaotic creatures who need Hana’s conducting skills to stay on track.

You’ll guide these uncoordinated critters through each island’s puzzle, directing them to smash, block, lift, and push each other to retrieve the lost flowers. It’s a game of planning, execution, and keeping everyone on beat!

From the Talented Team Behind Unpacking & Assault Android Cactus

Developer Witch Beam has a fantastic track record. Many will know them from the BAFTA-winning, emotionally resonant narrative puzzle game Unpacking, a game we hit with a 3.5/5 score. Before that, they delivered the frantic, highly-polished twin-stick shooter Assault Android Cactus (4.5/5 score).

Tempopo showcases their versatility, shifting to a charming, music-infused puzzle experience.
