During a recent appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin spoke of her erstwhile career on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
It turns out that, early on, Hamlin didn’t think much of the nascent Bravo franchise. He actually threatened to divorce Rinna if she took the gig.
However, Rinna detailed how she saw the potential in reality television.
Even when she signed up, reality stars were able to monetize their fame by promoting their businesses and careers. She wanted to do the same.

“I knew that reality was really the place that was starting to happen,” Lisa Rinna recalled. “I was like, hmm this is interesting.”
She continued: “And then I started to see what the girls were doing on Housewives and how they were benefiting from it with their brands. And I thought, oh maybe this is a good idea.”
Instead of bringing it up directly, Rinna let producers come to her. “So I kind of floated the idea. They picked it up. They came to me and said, ‘Do you want to do the show?’”

“I went to Harry and said, ‘I think this might be a good idea. What do you think?’” Lisa Rinna narrated “He goes, ‘Absolutely not. I will divorce you if you do that show.’”
Harry Hamlin didn’t deny it.
“I did say that. I said I have my divorce lawyer on speed dial, which I do.” However, he soon changed his tune.
When Lisa Rinna brought up Bethenny Frankel’s brand success at the time, he began to warm to the idea.

“All I said was, ‘Okay, all I want you to do is just check out this person [Bethenny] and see what her business is like … [Harry and I] had a QVC business at the time,” Rinna clarified.
“Three days later, he comes back in the room and says, ‘Well I’ve been thinking…’” she described triumphantly.
Hamlin then chimed in: “I said, ‘If Bethenny Frankel can build a business like that, we can too. Maybe this is the way to do it.’”

However, ‘RHOBH’ didn’t end up testing their marriage
Speaking to The Daily Mail, Harry Hamlin spoke more about his relationship with Lisa Rinna.
“We’ve always had a great relationship, it wasn’t even tested during the Housewives thing,” he confirmed.
Notably, some Bravo fans blame the “Housewives curse” for the end of marriages.
While sometimes, the film schedules or simply seeing their marriage from an external POV can hasten a union’s end, sometimes it’s just a coincidence.

You just sleep with a lot of people and eventually give out diseases like candy. Yes, I hated typing that sentence.
With enough persistence and luck, you can get the degree and the required number of other milestones all around the same time. If you get bad RNG, just keep hooking up and you’re basically done. Giving gifts to lovers is also done via the relationships menu.

Night owls who hit the gym hard might be losing more than just sweat—your sleep could be taking a hit, too, according to a new international study.
Researchers from the United States, Australia, and Switzerland found that high-intensity exercise performed close to bedtime can significantly disrupt sleep quality, and slow overnight recovery. The findings, published Tuesday in Nature Communications, suggest that people seeking better sleep health should avoid strenuous workouts within four hours of going to bed, or opt for lighter exercise during that window.
Scientists and health advocates have long emphasized that sleep is essential for cognitive function, immune system health, emotional well-being, and physical recovery, making it a vital component of overall health.
“Nothing is more important to me than sleep,” biohacker Bryan Johnson previously told Decrypt. “I plan when I eat, my social events, my work schedule, everything around sleep, which is exactly the exact opposite of what society does right now.”
To explore the effects of exercise timing and intensity, researchers analyzed sleep and exercise data from 14,689 physically active adults over the course of a year, using wearable biometric devices developed by the performance tracking company Whoop. The study focused on how the timing and intensity, referred to in the study as “exercise strain”—a measure of total physical exertion during a workout—affected the results.
“Public health guidelines recommend exercise as a key lifestyle intervention for promoting and maintaining healthy sleep function and reducing disease risk,” the study said. “However, strenuous evening exercise may disrupt sleep due to heightened sympathetic arousal.”
Sympathetic arousal is the state in which the body remains alert and physiologically activated, making it harder to wind down for rest.
“To optimize sleep, individuals should aim to complete bouts of exercise four or more hours before their sleep onset to minimize potential adverse consequences to their sleep,” the researchers wrote.
Will Ahmed, the CEO of Whoop, emphasized the importance of timing in training on X (formerly Twitter). “If you’re training hard but not sleeping well, when you work out may matter just as much as how you work out,” he wrote.

When exercise ended two hours before habitual sleep time, participants who engaged in maximal strain workouts fell asleep an average of 36 minutes later, and slept 22 minutes less than those who performed light exercises.
According to the study, the disruptions were even more pronounced when exercise extended past a person’s usual bedtime, with sleep duration cut by up to 43 minutes. The study also challenged traditional sleep health guidelines, which have typically discouraged exercising in the evening.
“Contrary to previous sleep health guidelines that discourage exercise at night, recent guidelines are less conservative, suggesting, for example, that moderate-intensity exercise ending at least 90 minutes before bedtime will not delay or disrupt sleep,” the researchers wrote. “However, these guidelines do not mention the duration of permissible moderate-intensity evening exercise; a critical consideration when quantifying exercise strain.”

According to the report from JP Morgan, investors are prioritizing gold over Bitcoin to find a safe haven amid geopolitical instability, especially the consequences of the global trade war initiated by President Trump.
According to Cointelegraph, global gold ETFs drew $21.1 billion in net inflows in Q1 2025. In late 2024, Bitcoin ETFs briefly surpassed gold ETFs in terms of trading volume, but their advantage soon dissipated. The gold price also rocketed to the ATH of $3,660/ounce this week.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin struggled with three consecutive months of ETF outflows. Binance Futures experienced many large negative net flows, indicating multiple outflow instances since January and signaling reduced speculative trading activity as traders potentially close positions or decrease exposure.

The $BTC price has also fluctuated at $85,000, plummeting by over 20% compared with the highest price of $109,000 in January, when President Trump won the election. This contrast underscores gold’s appeal amid economic uncertainty.
Redefining Bitcoin’s Narrative
Once celebrated as a modern equivalent to gold, Bitcoin’s recent price swings have cast doubt on its reputation as a safe-haven asset for the leading cryptocurrency. Earlier this month, JPMorgan analysts also said that “Bitcoin’s volatility and correlation with equities raise questions over its ‘digital gold’ narrative,” while gold is gaining stronger demand.
Trump’s election initially spurred optimism in the crypto market, with many expectations from investors. However, rising tariffs and the trade war with China, concerns over a global economic downturn, and a declining U.S. dollar have pushed investors toward the time-tested security of gold.
Still, Bitcoin’s future is fluid. Could less volatility restore its safe-haven appeal? Macro factors like monetary policy or ETF flows will shape its path. This shift reflects changing sentiment, but Bitcoin’s long-term role remains open to reinvention.
