John Cena shocked the wrestling world when he turned heel on Cody Rhodes … but The Miz didn’t bat an eye — ’cause he tells TMZ Sports he’s ALWAYS known he was a bad guy!!

We caught up with the WWE Superstar out at LAX … and he gloated quite a bit over the fact he called this development from a mile away — like, more than 10 YEARS ago!!

    the miz john cena

“Do you not remember WrestleMania 27 going into the main event,” Miz said. “Do you not remember all the promos that I have cut on John Cena? All the feuds I’ve had with John Cena?”

“I’ve known this forever, but no one believes me because I’m the bad guy.”

Despite Cena calling out everyone from his loyal fans to even Ric Flair … the 44-year-old thinks the leader of the C-Nation won’t end his WWE career as a bad guy, and he’ll return to his good-guy ways.

Wherever the story goes, the former WWE Champion says Cena’s shocking turn is not only good for the business — but also for his WrestleMania opponent.

“The champion, Cody Rhodes, needs that type of bad guy,” he said. “You need that type of heel to go into WrestleMania. Right now there’s nothing hotter than John Cena, and no one is talking about anything else it feels like than John Cena.”

The talk won’t stop anytime soon … as Cena is currently on his farewell tour — and we’re sure there will be plenty of memorable moments.

Japan’s Metaplanet Buys Another M in Bitcoin Amid Tariff Market Uncertainty – Decrypt

Metaplanet, the Tokyo-listed firm dubbed “Asia’s MicroStrategy,” has boosted its Bitcoin holdings with a fresh 3.78 billion yen ($26.3 million) purchase amid growing tension over U.S. trade tariffs.

The company said it acquired 319 BTC at an average price of 12,849,780 yen ($82,549) per coin, bringing its total holdings to 4,525 BTC. Metaplanet plans to boost its Bitcoin holdings by 470%, targeting a total of 10,000 BTC by year-end.

The timing of the purchase comes as digital assets falter under geopolitical pressure. Bitcoin dropped more than 2% on Sunday during Asia trading hours, sliding to $83,482 as investors digested conflicting signals from Washington over the direction of U.S. trade policy toward China.

Traditional markets remained resilient despite a flurry of comments from the Trump administration regarding new tariffs on Chinese electronics. Nasdaq 100 futures rose over 1% in early trading, while S&P 500 futures climbed 0.7%.

While smartphones and semiconductors were temporarily excluded from a proposed 10% “reciprocal” tariff, President Trump clarified late Sunday on Truth Social that the same products will remain subject to a separate 20% national security levy.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said further sector-specific tariffs are expected within the next two months.

By Monday, 1 a.m. ET, Bitcoin was up just 0.4% over the last 24 hours, trading at $84,990, according to CoinGecko. Ether was up 1.8% to $1,638 over the same period. The top ten cryptocurrencies by market cap have all posted slight gains or no change.

Metaplanet has leaned heavily into Bitcoin as its core treasury asset. Last month, the company appointed Eric Trump, son of the U.S. president, to its newly formed Strategic Advisory Board, citing his “business expertise and passion for Bitcoin.”

Metaplanet is positioning itself in the mold of Michael Saylor’s Strategy, whose aggressive Bitcoin accumulation strategy has influenced a growing number of publicly listed firms to follow suit.

At the same time, the Trump administration has launched two separate initiatives: a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, funded by seized BTC and held as a permanent national asset, and a U.S. Digital Asset Stockpile, which includes other confiscated crypto with potential for liquidation or strategic use.

Mantra Disastrous Meltdown: $5.5 Billion Vanishes Overnight in Collapse Echoing Luna Disaster

Mantra Disastrous Meltdown: .5 Billion Vanishes Overnight in Collapse Echoing Luna Disaster

In just two hours on April 13, 2025, Mantra’s native token OM lost more than 90% of its value – a crash that echoed the infamous Luna collapse and now stands as one of the most severe price meltdowns in crypto history.

About Mantra, it’s a Layer 1 blockchain project with OM as its native token. In February 2025, OM experienced a parabolic rally, surging from $5 to a peak of $8.99.

From Asia’s Promising Project to a Luna-Style Meltdown

According to data from CoinMarketCap and TradingView, OM began to plummet from $6.33 on the evening of April 13 to around $0.40 in less than two hours— a nearly 94% drop.

As a result, Mantra’s market capitalization evaporated by nearly $5.5 billion, falling from $6 billion to just $500 million.

“I haven’t seen a crash of this speed and scale since the LUNA collapse,” one trader commented on X.

From Asia’s Promising Project to a Luna-Style Meltdown

OM crashed in 2 hours – Source: CoinGecko

On-chain data revealed that a personal wallet transferred approximately 3.9 million OM tokens to the OKX exchange just before the crash occurred. The community now suspects the wallet belongs to an insider from the project.

Additionally, according to a report from BeInCrypto, the Mantra team was involved in undisclosed over-the-counter (OTC) transactions, allegedly selling tokens at discounts of up to 50% compared to market prices.

“MANTRA has a highly centralized token distribution structure, with over 85% of the total supply held by the team and strategic investors. An internal sell-off could easily trigger a domino effect,” Lookonchain commented.

The incident sparked strong backlash against the Mantra team. Some social media users began digging into the team’s past, pointing out that WuBlockchain had previously warned that certain key members of the project were allegedly linked to the online gambling platform 21Pink.

There were also claims that MANTRA once stated it had received investment from FTX, a statement later publicly denied by the now-defunct exchange.

“Not Our Fault”: Mantra Points at Exchanges After 94% OM Collapse

Shortly after OM’s dramatic plunge, Mantra co-founder John Patrick Mullin issued a public statement in an attempt to calm the community.

Posting on his personal account, Mullin firmly denied any involvement from the core team, the MANTRA Chain Association, or internal investors in the sell-off. He emphasized that all tokens remain locked under the publicly disclosed vesting schedule and that all project-related wallets are fully transparent and trackable.

Mullin claimed that centralized exchanges (CEXes) triggered forced liquidations during a period of low market liquidity—specifically late Sunday UTC.

“The timing and depth of the drop point to an unexpected position closure with no warnings or prior notice. Such an incident highlights a lack of oversight by centralized exchanges and may reflect an intentional attempt to dominate the market,” Mullin stated.

He added “We are actively working with our exchange partners – entities that hold significant control. But when such power is misused, events like this will continue to happen.”

Mantra also announced a community AMA on X to further clarify the incident. The project warned users to avoid clicking on suspicious links, as scammers are attempting to exploit the situation.

Notably, Binance – one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges and the current listing venue for OM, issued an official statement confirming that it is closely monitoring the ongoing developments surrounding MANTRA. In a notice today, Binance stated that it may suspend trading, delist the token, or apply other risk management measures to protect users if it detects serious violations related to transparency or false listing disclosures.

Given the extreme price volatility, disrupted liquidity, and unresolved concerns, analysts urge investors to trade OM cautiously to avoid unnecessary financial risks.

This dramatic collapse also sparked an unexpectedly ironic twist, dragging a completely unrelated project with a similar name – Manta, into the crossfire. Manta’s co-founder publicly clarified that their project has no affiliation whatsoever with Mantra after confusion spread due to the similar names.

    Conclusion

The team attributes the crash to external liquidations, but on-chain activity and OTC deal reports have fueled community skepticism.

With its tokenomics under scrutiny and trust in the project rattled, Mantra’s path forward hinges on transparency, swift communication, and structural reform. It remains unclear whether this marks a temporary setback or signals the start of a deeper unraveling.

This technological marriage enables systems that can learn, adapt, and optimize without central authority – truly embodying the core principles of Web3 while enhancing their practical implementation.

The impacts of this convergence are visible across three primary areas:

Self-optimizing financial protocols that adjust to market conditions

Intelligent digital assets that evolve based on user interactions

Scalable blockchain infrastructure that adapts to network demands

DeFi’s AI Revolution: High Risk, Higher Rewards

The DeFi landscape has experienced tremendous volatility with the Crypto AI Agents sector seeing a 65% market cap collapse in early 2025, plummeting from $20 billion to just $7 billion in a single month. Despite this overall correction, the specialized DeFAI subsector has shown remarkable resilience with tokens like SingularityNET (AGIX) gaining 5.8% amid a 45% surge in trading volumes.

Institutional interest has also started emerging, with Trump’s WLFI launching its Macro Strategy Fund in Q1 2025 with a portfolio allocation of 40% to Bitcoin, 30% to Ethereum, and 30% to AI-driven altcoins. This institutional validation signals growing confidence in the long-term potential of DeFi automation systems.

Several key projects are leading the DeFAI innovation wave:

Spectral Finance (SPEC) – Market cap of $141M, focusing on credit risk assessment algorithms

BasedAI network (BASEDAI) – Market cap of $18.75M, creating AI-optimized lending protocols

HashAI (HASHAI) – Market cap of $17.9M, developing predictive market analytics for traders

These platforms are addressing crucial DeFi challenges through advanced analytical capabilities, offering solutions for risk management, market prediction, and liquidity optimization that human traders and traditional algorithms simply can’t match.

From Static to Dynamic: AI-Powered NFT Ecosystems

The NFT landscape is undergoing a transformation from static digital collectibles to dynamic, evolving assets. Generative AI technologies have enabled a new class of AI-generated NFTs that can adapt and change based on specific conditions, user interactions, or external data feeds.

These dynamic NFTs feature algorithmic rarity adjustments that have increased their value by 120-300% compared to static counterparts. The technology allows for NFTs that evolve over time, creating deeper engagement and potentially more sustainable value.

Major marketplaces have leveraged AI to enhance the user experience:

AI-curated recommendations on platforms like OpenSea and Rarible have boosted user engagement by 40%

Computer vision models verify NFT authenticity with 98.7% accuracy, reducing counterfeit incidents by 73%

AI-AR/VR integration creates immersive virtual galleries and adaptive GameFi assets that respond to player behavior

Projects like Alethea AI are pioneering intelligent NFTs (iNFTs) that can interact with users through natural language processing, creating entirely new use cases for digital collectibles in gaming, education, and entertainment.

    Solving the Web3 Trilemma

Blockchain technology has long struggled with the “trilemma” of achieving scalability, security, and decentralization simultaneously. AI-enhanced infrastructure is making significant progress in addressing these fundamental challenges.

The Oasis Network has implemented AI systems that dynamically allocate blockchain resources based on network demand, reducing gas fees by 35% during peak periods while maintaining processing speed. This adaptive approach to network management represents a significant advancement in blockchain scalability.

On the security front, CertiK’s Skynet utilizes natural language processing to detect smart contract vulnerabilities 5 times faster than manual reviews. This AI-powered security enhancement provides critical protection for decentralized applications and user funds.

Data management within decentralized systems has also seen major improvements through projects like Ocean Protocol, which facilitates AI training on decentralized data pools. The protocol’s token now processes an impressive 14.7 petabytes of data monthly, creating a synergistic relationship between AI and decentralized data marketplaces.

Future-Forward Projects Reshaping the DeFi Landscape

Several emerging projects are demonstrating the transformative potential of AI in Web3 innovation, focusing on specialized use cases that go beyond basic automation:

Spectral Labs (SPEC) – Developing machine learning-powered smart contracts that adapt to changing market conditions

AIOZ Network – Creating a decentralized AI video transcoding system that reduces costs while improving quality

PaLM AI – Implementing language models for DAO governance to improve proposal analysis and voting

Fetch.ai – Building autonomous economic agents that can interact and transact on behalf of users

Interoperability remains a key focus area, with projects like Polkadot’s Moonbeam AI working to ensure AI systems can function effectively across multiple blockchains. This cross-chain approach is essential for creating truly integrated decentralized intelligence networks.

The Rise of Autonomous DAOs and Privacy-Preserving AI

Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) are becoming more sophisticated through AI integration. By Q4 2025, AI agents are projected to manage 12-15% of DAO voting by analyzing sentiment in community forums and governance discussions.

This shift toward algorithmic governance creates more responsive organizational structures but also raises important questions about control and accountability. The balance between human and AI decision-making will likely remain a central topic in DAO development.

Privacy-focused projects are also emerging at the intersection of AI and blockchain. Morpheus Network combines zero-knowledge proofs with federated learning to maintain regulatory compliance while protecting sensitive data. This approach enables AI systems to learn from encrypted data without compromising user privacy.

Performance improvements are another key benefit, with Solana and Avalanche integrating AI modules to prioritize high-value transactions. These systems are targeting transaction speeds exceeding 50,000 TPS, representing a significant advancement in blockchain scalability.

Market Volatility and Investment Trends in AI-Crypto

Despite the promising technological developments, the AI-crypto market has experienced substantial volatility. A $13 billion sector correction affected most crypto-AI tokens, creating a stark contrast between market valuations and underlying technological progress.

Investment patterns show a clear distinction between general AI crypto sectors and specialized DeFAI implementations. While broad AI-related tokens have struggled, focused applications with clear utility have shown remarkable resilience.

Institutional recognition of AI-driven crypto opportunities continues to grow, with traditional finance increasingly allocating resources to this emerging sector. Investment focus has shifted toward utility-driven AI-crypto projects with proven use cases rather than speculative tokens.

This evolution in investment strategy suggests a maturing market that prioritizes fundamental value over hype – a positive sign for the long-term health of the AI-Web3 ecosystem.

Navigating Challenges in the AI-Web3 Frontier

Despite the exciting potential, several significant challenges remain for AI integration in Web3 environments:

Centralization risks from proprietary AI models threaten core decentralization principles

Regulatory uncertainty surrounds algorithmic stablecoins and AI-powered financial products

Energy consumption concerns exist for AI-blockchain hybrid systems that combine two resource-intensive technologies

Security vulnerabilities may emerge in AI-driven smart contracts that haven’t undergone rigorous auditing

Addressing these challenges requires collaborative efforts across the AI and blockchain communities. Open-source AI models, energy-efficient consensus mechanisms, and standardized audit protocols for AI-enhanced smart contracts will be essential for building a sustainable AI-Web3 ecosystem.

The convergence of AI and blockchain technology represents a frontier of innovation with transformative potential across multiple industries. While challenges remain, the rapid pace of development suggests we’re just beginning to explore the possibilities of truly decentralized intelligence systems.

Mickey Rourke and Chris Hughes clash on Celebrity Big Brother tonight

During tonight’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother, the housemates took part in a pirate-themed task.

JoJo Siwa was given the role of captain. Lining the celebs up in the garden, she asked: “Ahoy. How have things been going out here?”

“There is a rat amongst us, Captain,” Trisha Goddard replied.

Chris then stepped out of line and stared at Mickey before returning to his spot – jokingly implying that Mickey was the so-called “rat”.

However, the actor didn’t see the funny side and lost his cool with former Love Island star Chris.

“You looking at me?” he snapped at Chris. “Don’t eyeball me.”

Big Brother remove Mickey from the house

Attempting to defuse the situation, Chris said: “Mickey, it was a joke, [bleep]…”

However, Mickey wasn’t having any of it. “Don’t [bleeping] eyeball me. You [bleep],” he fumed.

Danny Beard and Daley Thompson got between the pair, attempting to defuse the situation, however, Mickey was still furious.

“Mickey, it was a joke,” Chris protested again. Big Brother then called Mickey to the diary room, where they told him that his behaviour was “aggressive” and threatening”.

While Mickey was in the diary room, Ella Rae Wise revealed that he’d made a sexual comment to her that had left her feeling uncomfortable. The star was left in tears, before tearfully telling Big Brother she “didn’t like it” in the diary room.

Later on, Big Brother called Mickey back into the diary room. They informed him that his behaviour in the house was “seriously unacceptable” and he would have to leave.

“I blame myself, I know it was my bad. You know, I’ve got a short fuse and I know I upset a lot of people out there, you know. And I’m sorry for that. I’m actually ashamed of myself for getting that hot,” he said.

Fans baffled as Mickey and Chris clash

Fans of the show were left fuming by Mickey’s clash with Chris.

“They all have a point. He can’t be going round acting like this. He’s 72 years old for christ sake,” one viewer tweeted.

I know Mickey’s old, but he’s an actor himself and surely he knows Chris was in character for the task as pirates! How did he take that literal?! They’re playing Pirates!” another wrote.

“He got angry over that?” a third baffled viewer then asked.

“Mickey absolutely deserves to be kicked out,” another said.

“Mickey has [bleeped] the entire vibe up. Glad he’s gone,” a fifth then said.

However, some fans took aim at Chris for “winding” Mickey up.

Is it just me that thinks #Chris was goading #mickeyrourke,” one viewer tweeted.

“Doesn’t anyone else think Chris antagonised him a little?” another asked.

This Bizarro MTV Short Film Was Turned Into The Network’s First Movie – SlashFilm

          0
This Bizarro MTV Short Film Was Turned Into The Network’s First Movie – SlashFilm

MTV was best known for its music videos, of course, but credit should be given for its initiative in promoting and exhibiting short films. In between its Missing Persons videos and “Weird Al” Yankovic videos, the channel would present the (often strange) art of rising filmmakers and animators, just to add some variety to its 24-hour programming. It wasn’t uncommon to turn on MTV in 1991 and see full-bore live-action short and bizarro animated bumpers in between blocks of music videos. Many new artists found their toehold within the cracks. Eventually, MTV launched “Liquid Television” as a showcase for its animated ventures, with its live-action shorts remaining randomly scattered throughout.

John Payson’s live-action short film “Joe’s Apt.” first debuted on MTV in 1992, and it caught everyone’s eye, mostly because it was kinda gross. In the short, Mark Rosenthal played Joe, an average dude living in a filthy New York apartment that he shares with thousands of talking, singing cockroaches. At the start of the film, he warns his “roommates” that he has a date coming over that night, so he needs them to stay hidden. He puts a steak under the rug as an offering. The roaches, being Joe’s friends, unilaterally decide that they will, instead, help Joe be amorous. When Joe’s date (Arija Bareikis) comes over, the roaches subtly push around snacks and furniture to make her comfortable, all of them watching from the walls and light fixtures. Sadly, when Joe leans in for a kiss, the roaches get excited and spill out of the lights, right onto his date. Covered with bugs, she screams and flees in horror. Joe sighs in regret. Maybe next time, Joe, the roaches promise.

MTV was so impressed with “Joe’s Apt.,” that it approached Payson about developing a feature film version for them. MTV hadn’t made any theatrically released feature films yet, but it wanted to. As a result, “Joe’s Apartment” became MTV’s first-ever full-length movie when it hit theaters in 1996.

Joe’s Apartment was an MTV movie full of ‘sex, bugs, and rock ‘n’ roll’

The “Joe’s Apartment” feature was a very strange, very ambitious beast. The film merely expanded on the short, even nestling the events of the original short in the middle. This time, Joe, as played by Jerry O’Connell, is a recent transplant to New York who has trouble finding an affordable place to live. When an old woman dies on the street in front of him, a scuzzy friend named Walter S*** (Jim Turner) encourages Joe to say she’s his mom so he may inherit her rent-controlled flat. Naturally, thousands of Brooklyn-accented cockroaches live there as well. Can Joe live with a bunch of talking, singing roaches and also romance his would-be girlfriend Lily (Megan Ward)? Also, can he — and the roaches — fend off the aggression of a vicious senator (Robert Vaughn) who wants to raze the apartment?

The cockroaches were visually realized with some puppetry, but mostly with state-of-the-art CGI provided by Blue Sky, making its feature debut. The animation is so detailed as to put one off their lunch; audiences could make out each revolting scratch in the bugs’ exoskeletons. The roaches, like in the short, operate as a well-organized mass, as evidenced by the fact that they sing a cappella (only pitched up, like the Chipmunks). The cockroach’s singing voices were provided by the celebrated pop vocal group Rockapella, with their songs spanning genres from country (“Kitty Cat Rodeo”) to funk (“Funky Towel”) to barbershop (“Garbage in the Moonlight”) to gospel (“The Healer Touched My Feeler”). The lead cockroaches, Ralph and Rodney Roach, were voiced by Billy West of “Futurama” fame and Reginald Hudlin, respectively. Other roaches were played by B.D. Wong, Tim Blake Nelson, Bam Bam Bigelow, and Dave Chappelle (back before we knew how awful he was).

Joe’s Apartment was a cult movie in studio clothing

The animation on the cockroaches is likely why “Joe’s Apartment” cost so much to make. The budget was only $13 million (about $27 million in 2025 dollars), but that was still a sizable risk for a first-time studio putting out a gross, bug-based comedy. The film’s tagline was “Sex, Bugs, and Rock ‘n’ Roll.” John Payson also gathered up multiple outsider figures to appear in his movie. Cult luminary Paul Bartel has a cameo in “Joe’s Apartment,” as does underground filmmaker Nick Zedd (director of “They Eat Scum” and “Geek Maggot Bingo”). There’s even a slumlord thug played by Don Ho (!), along with small roles for Moby and Sandra Denton, who’s better known as Pepa (of Salt-N-Pepa).

“Joe’s Apartment” is delightful, by the way. A lot of time, energy, and finance went into this oddball film about gross, singing cockroaches, and it feels like someone was getting away with something. This was an underground movie that somehow tricked a mainstream studio into giving them $13 million. It’s weird that “Joe’s Apartment” should look as slick as it does, as it feels like a lot of grimy filth is just underneath its professional sheen, waiting to bubble to the surface. The scatological humor is highlighted a lot. It’s a cult movie in studio clothing.

Perhaps MTV overestimated the popularity of its short, though, as the “Joe’s Apartment” movie (toilet) tanked at the box office, only earning $4.6 million. It was also derided by critics for being as disgusting as it was and only holds a 21% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Weirdly, for 1996, there was no hit soundtrack record (which, one might think, would have been a mandate for an MTV movie).

MTV recovered at the box office later that year with the release of “Beavis and Butt-head Do America,” so it saved face a little bit. Payson, meanwhile, moved on to directing TV shows like “Arli$$” and “The PJs” (which had a hidden crossover with “Futurama,” funnily enough). He also kept his outsider imprimatur by directing a music video for the Residents in 2001.

          A Legacy of Thought-Provoking Puzzles

Over the last couple of decades, we’ve been lucky to have been rewarded with some great puzzle games that have an interesting narrative packed into them as well.

The forerunners that started this trend were Portal, the sequel in Portal 2, and The Witness where you were solving some hefty puzzles but with a great story playing out underneath.

In 2014 another contender appeared in the form of The Talos Principle which got some great reviews and became a fan favourite leading to some DLC and a sequel a few years ago.

And now that game has had a remastering in the form of The Talos Principle: Reawakened, as they provide that decade-old game, some DLC and a new prequel chapter.

The Talos Principle Reawakened Review 1
The Talos Principle has been Reawakened!

          Androids, Gods, and Existential Questions

If you played the original game, then you won’t be surprised with what you find in Reawakened, apart from the graphical updates which we will talk about shortly.

The story deals with themes of life, god, and philosophy, putting us into the being of an android waking up in a world of Roman pillars and serene landscapes. You are tasked to complete several puzzles across a series of different areas, collecting sigils, unlocking progress and new abilities.

As you go on through The Talos Principle: Reawakened you hear more of the story told in a ‘godlike’ voice, talking about being a creator of this world. But moving through the world sees you unlock other stories from human voices and scientists who talk about humanity and everyday life. There are also chats about science experiments and AI. What has happened?

Progress and the story will gradually unravel itself to you. I liked, as I did originally, the story and atmosphere of this game. It’s a puzzler first, but the added story gives life to the game, ensuring you will want to progress to learn its secrets.

Without spoiling anything, the DLC chapter and new additions add more to the excellence of this world and are very enjoyable, narratively speaking. I really liked what they have done with the new chapter and how it builds on the world and gives some answers to the story.

          You know the drill…

          First-Person Philosophy

The Talos Principle: Reawakened is played in the first person, allowing you to go and move around the space freely, with a little jump to get up to certain areas. The initial puzzles are straightforward, introducing electronically locked areas guarded by robot mines and turrets that block the path to a signal. Players begin by collecting signal jammers to disable these threats and progress.

Some puzzles require strategic thinking, using multiple jammers, demanding careful sequencing of actions. Later, new mechanics such as differently coloured light beams and connector devices are introduced, requiring players to align beams to open doorways.

As you progress more elements are added, as The Talos Principle: Reawakened starts to become a clever and addictive puzzler. It does get very challenging in the latter moments, but once you are hooked, you’ll discover that you are fully invested and can’t go back.

          A Visual Upgrade

The Talos Principle: Reawakened was pretty good looking initially, with its different historical landscapes and ruins dotted around the AI world. But now it’s had an Unreal Engine 5 upgrade, which gives some rather lovely lighting effects and improved textures on everything you can see. This is a very pretty upgrade and you’ll certainly notice the visual work done in this remaster.

Audio-wise and it feels the same as before, which isn’t a bad thing because the soundtrack has an otherworldly quality to it; something that is perfect for this type of game. The voiceover is excellent and there is a great mixture of voices from the god-like narrator to the human scientists you might hear from occasionally.

          A Must-Play Puzzle Experience, Enhanced

If you loved the original and got on well with the sequel, then you will enjoy the visual improvements made to The Talos Principle: Reawakened. The puzzles and narrative will draw you in, whilst the DLC and new chapter works nicely to add content and story to the world.

There’s no doubt that this is a great package for fans of the series, but even if you haven’t dipped in before, The Talos Principle: Reawakened comes highly recommended.

Inside Benny Hill’s final months – ‘lonely, depressed and ugly’; refusing bypass surgery; body not being found for days

Inside Benny Hill’s final months – ‘lonely, depressed and ugly’; refusing bypass surgery; body not being found for days

Benny Hill was previously one of Britain’s best-loved comedians before his death aged 68.

Southampton-born Benny shot to fame as a presenter and TV star in the 1950s. Famous for his smutty sense of humour, Benny’s programme, The Benny Hill Show, would go on to become one of the most-watched series ever.

However, it was later cancelled following complaints – something that is discussed in Channel 5 documentary The Cancellation of Benny Hill which airs today (April 13).

In 1992, Benny passed away following a decline in his career and his health. Here, ED! takes a look inside Benny’s final moments.

            Benny Hill ‘insecure’ before death

Benny Hill was one of the UK’s most prolific comedians of the 1970s and 1980s. His show, The Benny Hill Show, debuted in 1955 and ran for 34 years – and was among the most-watched programmes in the UK.

However, Benny’s style of comedy eventually became outdated as tastes changed.

In 2019, it was claimed that Benny – who died in 1992 – was riddled with insecurities about himself.

According to Hollywood journalist Craig Bennett, one of Benny’s closest friends, Sarah Kemp, spoke to him about the late comedian.

As MailOnline reports, Sarah claimed Benny confided in her for hours about how he felt unattractive and unloved.

            Benny Hill’s health scares

During the late 1980s, Benny’s health started to deteriorate. In February 1992, he suffered a heart attack.

Following the health scare, doctors recommended the TV star to have a heart bypass. Benny declined, though – and a week later he was diagnosed with kidney failure.

Two months later, Benny died aged 68 in his Southampton home on April 18 in his favourite armchair while watching TV.

However, Benny’s body was not found until two days later on April 20.

What was Benny’s cause of death?

Following Benny’s death, reports have claimed that Benny’s “blue, bloated and distended” body was found by a television producer.

They are said to have climbed up a ladder to peer through Benny’s second-floor flat, as Flashbak reports.

It has also been claimed that Benny was surrounded with cash and checks that he hadn’t cashed, as well as “dirty plates, glasses, videotapes and piles of papers”.

The cause of death was recorded as coronary thrombosis.

Benny was buried near his birthplace at Hollybrook Cemetery a week later.

Watch The Cancellation of Benny Hill on Sunday (April 13) at 9pm on Channel 5.

TikTok stars Gianna Joyce and Preslee Faith are known for sharing their glam tips with their millions of followers on social media, but before they were experts, the two admittedly experienced some beauty blunders.

“I once tried to dye my hair brunette and it turned orange,” Joyce told ET at the Glowhouse launch event, designed to bridge creators with fans, and skincare, in partnership with medicube in Beverly Hills, California on April 12.

“I also struggled with hormonal acne, and it really affected my confidence, especially since I’m on camera so much,” she continued.

              Lucas Gauger and Luke Berg

As for Faith? “I used to have very textured skin, and it was one of my biggest insecurities. … I’ve also used the wrong product before, which made my makeup peel, and it was the worst pain ever.”

To combat any issues now, the pair relies on tried-and-true staples that work best for them — and Kylie Jenner.

“I cleanse, tone, and apply the medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum … I also drink more water and remember that real skin isn’t perfect and that’s OK,” Joyce shared.

“I love the medicube Age-R Booster Pro and the PDRN Pink Collagen Jelly Gel Mask. I’ve also focused on becoming comfortable with my skin, and myself as a whole,” Faith added.

If they are feeling experimental, the social media stars look to their favorite It-girls to see the trends they’re trying out.

“I love Hailey Bieber’s glowy, minimalist glam, Zendaya’s versatility, and Rihanna because it’s Rihanna and she’s an icon,” Joyce said.

Sabrina Carpenter and Alix Earle are huge inspirations for me right now. Their makeup always looks soft and fresh, but with a little edge,” Faith spilled.

And after a day of beauty, the content creators make sure to prioritize their nighttime routines too.

“The medicube Kojic Acid Turmeric Overnight Wrapping Mask has made such a difference in keeping my skin clear and smooth as I sleep. … I also use a silk pillowcase and wear a silk scrunchie to keep my hair protected,” Joyce explained.

Faith’s must-haves: “I shower, wash my face, put on my skincare products and my bonnet, and fall right asleep.”
